My partner and I recently used a cat-sitting service, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience! The entire process was seamless and accommodating, from booking to completion. We had Griz as our sitter, and she exceeded all expectations. Before our trip, Griz visited our home to meet our two kitties. Both are usually quite skittish around strangers, but they immediately warmed up to her—letting her pet them and even rubbing against her legs. This gave us so much confidence that they’d be in great hands, so we booked a 4-day service. One of our kitties needs 3 medications daily so Griz visited twice a day to feed, medicate, and play with them, and we were so happy to receive regular updates with pictures and notes about how our fur babies were doing. These updates were such a comfort and allowed us to truly enjoy our trip, knowing our kitties were well cared for. We highly recommend this service, and Griz especially, to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and attentive sitter for their pets. Thank you for taking such good care of our little ones! I've worked with the Comforted Kitty a couple of times now and they are stellar every time! I never worry about my cat, Lewis, who has some medical issues and needs pills every 12 hours. The company and the sitters are incredibly responsive especially on their custom app, which makes it easy to update info about my cat's issues and needs. They are easily the most trustworthy cat sitters I've used! I highly recommend their services.

Love the Comforted Kitty! Julia was amazing with Archie and Penelope….she even fed Penelope under the bed because my little scared kitty wouldn’t come out. Archie became a purr monster as soon as she came over. He loved her! Excellent, quality care. I never had to worry about them while I was away. Highly recommend!

I have 3 cats and needed someone experienced and trustworthy to watch them while I was away for 4 days. The Comforted Kitty was exactly what I was looking for. I love that they want detailed information about each of your cats and that you can meet your sitter prior to the sitting. My sitter was Julia and she was fantastic! I could tell she loved cats and also had lots of experience. While I was away she sent me detailed updates with photos and videos. I felt at ease knowing my cats were in good hands. I will definitely be using The Comforted Kitty again!

I have five young cats who are all new to me, so I was very nervous about leaving them for an international vacation. As soon as I discovered The Comforted Kitty, all of my fears were abated. The process of setting up an account took a fair amount of time, which demonstrated to me how seriously The Comforted Kitty takes their responsibilities. Prices are a bit higher than other cat-sitters in the area, but this company is worth every penny. Our caregiver Shauna was INCREDIBLE. She sent me updates with every visit that demonstrated both how well she was getting to know my cats and how much she cared for them. I could see their happiness and health in every photo. Not only will I use The Comforted Kitty for every future trip, I will plan the timing of vacations based on Shauna's availability. I simply couldn't be happier with my experience.

Jen K. did a wonderful job of looking after both my cats in April 2023. She addressed all their needs and took time to play with and entertain them. I especially appreciated her thoughtful and regular communication and all the many great photos she sent. The boys were very content when I got home. She really put my mind at ease while I was away and that means a lot. I found the Comforted Kitty pricing to be reasonable and their service excellent. I would happily recommend Jen and CK for your pet-sitting needs!

I've been using TCK since I moved to LA and am so lucky to have found it! Jen is an excellent sitter who I trust implicitly to care for my 2 cats. She is extremely communicative, sends the funniest and most detailed updates, and the cutest photos. When one of my cats started off aloof toward Jen, she went out of her way to find ways to bond. I couldn't recommend Jen and TCK more!

I had never used a professional pet sitting service prior to this experience, but I was not disappointed. I hate leaving my pets, it makes me anxious and I always worry about them spending so much time without people around. Ericka did a great job making me feel comfortable prior to me leaving my two kittens for the first time for a week over Thanksgiving. Then while I was gone she did a great job following my directions and keeping the kitties happy, healthy, and engaged while I was gone. I got photos directly after each visit, plus I have cameras in my apartment so I could see in real time that she was doing exactly what I asked on each visit. Additionally, there were no hidden fees or surprises where the bill was concerned. I said exactly what I wanted, then got a written invoice that very clearly explained what services I would receive and for what price. While it is expensive, that was expected because of the upfront, clear pricing, which I greatly appreciated. Overall I was very happy with the experience and will not hesitate to use it again in the future.

Happy Heart Pet Care and TEAM!!!! Is there any other substitute? I don’t think so!!! When it comes to my Pixie girl, I have a very difficult time trusting. Happy Heart put all of my concerns to ease. I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful Anna Marie is with our pup, Lucy. She’s extremely knowledgeable about how to care for dogs, flexible with my timings, and just an overall pleasure to talk to. We recently picked Lucy up from a 16-day stay, and not once over that period was I worried about how she was doing. Anna Marie went above and beyond - she sent frequent photos and videos, brushed her out daily, worked on commands, and even took it into her own hands to figure out what food Lucy needed when she was being a picky eater. To tell you that I was such at ease knowing she was in Anna Marie’s care is an understatement. I am so grateful to have found her and Happy Heart Pet Care. I am an EXTREMELY over protective Dog Mom to my 5 yo French Bull Dog Brodie. I have been searching for a dog sitter and trainer for him as long as I can remember, but I’ve never been satisfied leaving my fur baby until I found Happy Heart Pet Care. I will say I love to spoil my boy and only the best will do, however, this also meant he got away with a lot more behavioral wise then he should. So I needed to find someone knowledgeable that I could trust with my boy… I haven’t been able to find someone reliable that not only had the experience to help train Brodie, but that I felt comfortable trusting to care for him. Anna Marie checks all the boxes. She not only has helped with Brodie’s training, but I trust her to care for him as if he was her own. She is truly our dog nanny! Brodie loves Anna Marie and he has become such a better behaved boy since he was introduced to her training and care. Having a person who not only will train your dog, but love them the way you would is priceless. He respects her and she has a great relationship with my boy teaching him with obedience training and socialization. All the dogs she cares for are very well behaved so he has her pack to learn from as well. She also is a great resource for a number of suggestions and advice with regard to your pets health and well being. She is always the first person I call or text to ask any questions with regard to his health or needs, which is invaluable. She is one of the most kind and understanding people I’ve met in LA and I have no doubt I would ever find someone who cares or loves Brodie more as a trainer or dog nanny than her. Needless to say I highly recommend Happy Heart Pet Care. Your life will be easier with your dog if you use her, trust me!

So grateful to have found Happy Heart Pet Care--they are the best! I have an adopted pound dog who is super skittish (and bark-y) with new people and for the past 4+ years, has not been comfortable with other dogs. She LOVES Anna-Marie and Matthew and, after just three visits, she is already changing in wonderful ways--less skittish with new people and excited to play with other dogs, which I never thought possible. Anna-Marie is incredibly kind and accommodating, thoughtful about introducing new dogs to their environment, and thoughtful of skittish human owners, sending them photos of their happy dogs. I contacted them because of the consistently amazing Yelp reviews (a rare thing), without realizing they're on the west side of LA. My dog and I are way on the east side, but still travel there because knowing my pup is safe and happy with people she loves and who genuinely care is worth everything.

Matthew and Anna Marie are both so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about dogs. Their love for our 9week old Darcy is so heartwarming! I certainly had my concern leaving a young puppy with other people for a week, but Matthew and Anna Marie stayed very communicative. They also helped me on getting to know/adjust for a puppy. I could see Darcy was so well cared for through photos/detailed text updates. Truly appreciate their existence 💙

Anna-Marie took care of my 1 year old shih tzu puppy, Tater Tot, for almost 3 weeks while we were away. She was wonderful as she was very flexible with drop off/pick up times, and gave Tater Tot lots of love but also trained him! Tater is much more calm and well behaved now! He was brushed everyday, made many new dog friends, and enjoyed his walks. Anna-Marie updated us with cute photos and videos of him and we can’t wait to have him back with her again!

Where do I start? So thankful for Matt and Anna Maria. Matt has been a life saver with behavior modification with my sweet girl Cocoa. Cocoa is a hyper-vigilant rescue pit, with a few social challenges. Matt not only was able to with patience and professionalism, earn her trust, and help with her behaviors, he was also able to teach me, ways to manage when she and I are in the wild. He is very hands on, and teaches key fundamentals when handling a dog, and working with the world around them. I literally on multiple occasions have been able to handle situations without panic and stress due to Matt’s training. Cocoa also has been managing her stress better as well. You are equipped with the knowledge literally after just one session, the most rewarding thing is seeing the transformation in Cocoa. She has come such a long way. Happy Heart Pet Care has been a blessing. I highly recommend. 10 out of 10!

I highly recommend this company not just as a dog trainer but for all your pet care needs. They do training, dog sitting, walking, and even cat sitting. They are highly experienced and had my aggressive rescue dog showing improvement after just a few sessions! I’ve also used their services when traveling. They send updates on the pup and make sure he is very well taken care of. Highly recommend them!!

We found Anna Marie on Yelp and trusted the good reviews she had- it was the first time we left our puppy with someone she didn't know and in another city. We loved Anna the first moment we met her, she was super kind, and you could tell she had a lot of knowledge and experience with dogs. We saw our puppy liked her from the very beginning and felt safe with her- we left her one full day and, when we picked her up, she was super happy and looked like Anna took great care of her. I highly recommend her; she is amazing!

Matthew & Anna Marie are fantastic! Listen to the bad reviews. Unsafe conditions. The manager/owner, Valeria Gomez, does not maintain the cleanliness of the facility and does not take accountability for the injury or risk of health to the dogs in their care. My dog came back from a recent visit with bad infections in both eyes. Valeria responded quickly with a cut and paste reply wishing me well lol.

We took our dog here to get groomed. He is a Samoyed and their fur can’t be cut or trimmed so it’s awesome that he always comes out looking amazing. We absolutely love the affordable prices and that they require vaccination records before they groom your dog or board them.

They cancelled my grooming appointment TWICE. Both time last minute. Like I have no plans or a job. I took work off to get my dog groomed here but forget it.

Tried to give this place a chance but will no longer be bringing my dog here. There's been multiple times where I've requested that my dog be fed during his daycare stay there and they've forgotten more than once. We only find out later because my dog has a tendency to eat fast and then throw up all his food if he hasn't been fed at his appropriate times. This has happened three times right after bringing him home from K9. If they can't accommodate this request that's fine, I can adjust his feeding schedule but don't lie and say you can or you did feed him and then call me back and say you did in fact not feed him. My last straw was the last time I went to pick him up and they did NOT put on his leash properly and he almost ran out the door. With no help from staff even through they looked embarrassed I was able to properly leash him. The staff doesn't care, are rude and overpriced. Don't come here

My dog had his teeth cleaned but it wasn't as thorough as I hoped it would be. The outside surfaces of his teeth look clean but the chewing surfaces on his molars still have a lot of calculus that hasn't been removed. Don't get me wrong, I'm not super excited about having to put my dog under general anesthesia every time he needs his teeth cleaned but I think this is probably why people say non anesthesia cleanings won't cut it. Maybe this would be okay for maintenance cleanings but it doesn't look like it can replace cleanings done under the care of a vet.

Highly recommended! Mark is great with dogs - walks and training. He really helped my dog learn how to not pull on the leash and to interact with other dogs safely. He has been very consistent with dog walks and has worked with my ever-changing schedule.

We traveled from San Diego to LA for a concert and planned to leave our two pups in our room. Although, our hotel allowed pets they did not allow us to leave them unattended. Mark was very flexible and accommodating on such short notice. We met him within 30 minutes from contacting him and felt like we could trust him to watch our babies. During their time with him we received updates on how they were doing. Our babies returned with happy tails. We will be reaching out to A Big Dog House whenever we are in LA. Thanks Mark!

I highly recommend Mark for all pet needs. He is not just a pet sitter or a dog walker, but a respected animal behaviorist who came recommended to me by a fellow bulldog owner with years long experience with him. From the moment I met him, I could tell that he had a special conversation going on with animals. My dog was super calm hours after meeting him. As a single bulldog mom, the thought of putting my baby in the hands of rotating strangers, or programs where my Butch would just be a number, was painful, so meeting Mark was a huge relief. Mark has such love and respect for animals - and they love him right back! I trust Mark fully, and I rest assured knowing that my baby is in the best hands possible. Who wouldn’t want their fur baby in the hands of a highly capable animal whisperer?

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mark from A Big Dog House for dog walking services and I couldn't be happier. Right from the start, I could tell that Mark was knowledgeable, professional and personal. He was very knowledgeable about the dogs he walked, as well as the area. He also took the time to get to know my dogs on a personal level and made sure they got the best care possible. He always arrived on time and was very flexible with scheduling. I have been a repeat customer, hiring Mark's services twice a week, and my dogs always come home happy and tired. Additionally, I have used his overnight stay packages and was amazed by how well he took care of my pup. His dog grooming skills were also incredible. I have a reactive (insecure) puppy that had been in 1:1 training for a few months. He was still very fearful of other dogs, and I reached out to Whitaker to try to get him more socialized. The evaluation was super quick, and he started day care the next week. Britt is great with scheduling and communication. I got updates about how he was settling in, and the pick-up drop-off service is fantastic. I decided to board him over the Thanksgiving holiday and he looked so happy in all of the photos they shared. To be honest, I feel like he was a little disappointed to come home. While he was there, Aimee groomed him for the first time and took so much care in getting Gus Gus to be comfortable. I can’t rave about the staff enough. I’ve seen a complete 180 in how he greets and plays with other dogs. If you’re considering Whitaker for a shy dog, I highly recommend!!

Whitaker dog day camp is the absolute best! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Our boy always comes home happy from his time there - we cannot overstate how much we appreciate Ethan and his team for taking care of our dog. Everyone is so nice and responsive, and one particular moment that stuck with me from one of his boarding stays is when the drop-off team member said "I played with him myself!" Having come from a daycare that leaves the dogs in a room to play with each other, this meant the world to me, as the folks at Whitaker take care to spend time with the pups and get to know them as well. They are also very responsive, and reply to any message I'll send them as soon as possible, as well as being accommodating. We greatly appreciate everyone at Whitaker, and look forward to more fun stays for Bonsai! :)

We’ve loved Whitaker while living in Echo Park. Our dog can be territorial but was always so so excited whenever he saw the Whitaker van roll up for pickup. The staff are very attentive and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend more!

Everyone has been so caring and helpful in helping to socialize my dog. She hadn't really been around other dogs and she's been having the time of her life at daycare and when she stays overnight with Whitaker Dog Day Camp. I couldn't be more grateful that she's having fun and I get to work without random puppy attacks lol.

The best doggy day care in L.A!! Our dog, Bodhi has been going to Whitaker Dog Care for over a year and we love Ethan's services including dog boarding. The pick-up and drop-off is the most convenient! We now have a second dog and started sending him with Ethan as well about two months ago. They both come home happy and exhausted! Thank you to Ethan and his team for being so reliable and trustworthy.

Ethan is an amazing dude with a passion for dogs. He and his team have been taking care of our Border Collie since he was a puppy and they have a great bond. After some bad experiences with other boarding facilities, we always look forward to having Ziggy go with Ethan because we can trust him to take personalized care of our little guy. The pickup and drop-off is a huge bonus and takes a lot of stress out of leaving town. Highly recommend Whitaker if you live in the Frogtown / Silverlake area!

I wish I could give Dog Camp LA 5,00000 stars - 5 just doesn't do justice for their one-of-a-kind company. When I started a new job earlier this year where I couldn't take my dog to work, I was panicking with how to handle it. After some research, my initial phone call with Brenda immediately calmed my nerves and she was able to accommodate us and meet the very next day. Since then, it has been nothing but smooth sailing - Dog Camp LA are my literal heroes lol. Each update from their trained, dedicated, professional and incredibly sweet walkers make my (and my dog's) day. They feel like family now and even when I have to book last minute or cancel with a shifting schedule, they are the most understanding and quick to support our needs: like just yesterday there was a small earthquake in LA and one of their amazing walkers came to check on my dog to make sure she was ok! I could go on and on, genuinely beyond grateful for Dog Camp LA.

Elliott at Dog Camp is super. He takes great care of our cat Mars and she loves all of the attention she gets from him. He sends us fun pics of her during their visits that show how happy she is. We and Mars are very comfortable with him. Thanks Elliott.

They house sat for us and we have a little terrier (a hyper dog!) and they were great! Trustworthy and clean. They even took our dog on hikes and wore her out. I would recommend them to anyone. WELL worth the peace of mind to have pros look after our baby.

Our sitter for July 4th weekend was wonderful with our high maintenance, timid dogs. Communication was great and she listened to and followed all my concerns. I will definitely be using dog camp again.

Wagville is the best! We found ourselves in need of daycare and boarding for our little guy, and Wagville was an answer to our prayers. It’s been 2 years now and I am still impressed with how consistently amazing they are. Jill at the front desk is super on top of it and I always rest easy knowing that my dog is in the best of hands with the caring staff. They genuinely love dogs and go above and beyond to make your pups feel safe and comfortable. My guy was turned away from the first daycare we tried because he was too nervous. Wagville was so helpful in his transition that now he wags his tail when we arrive!

Couldn't even get an appointment for an evaluation.. there are soooo many hoops and obstacles to negotiate that its nearly impossible.. but even after i did everything they required, also more than any other boarding facility and without leniency on the Influenza vaccine shortage they refused to give me a review date until after the week after I needed boarding. Why make it impossible for potential customers to use your service?? especially when there are many other boarding options available in LA. I went to K9loft and had an evaluation the next day and a reservation for the time I needed.. sure it was more expensive but it was also hassle free. Wagville's list of requirements are a barrier and the woman I was trying to work only added to the the difficulty with to get this appointment. I made intentions clear of when i needed boarding.. and they literally gave me NO options but to go elsewhere. I don't understand how they stay in business, being so difficult.. good luck.

They have the process nailed down. Well organized, friendly staff, they really know what they're doing!

We take our dog here to board because he is a little too big to fly. They have a video feed that allows you to watch your dog during normal business hours. There are both indoor and outdoor areas. Our dog has spent up to two weeks there at a time without ill effects and he seems happy to check in. They have requirements for overnight stays, you need a valid dog license and up to date medical stuff to book a spot. They also have day care which we've never tried.

my favorite place to take my dog that i never get to take my dog to because they don’t let you drop off or pickup on weekends unless its for the whole weekend. cant pickup on sunday. cant drop off on saturday. also gotta call ahead for daycare which is sometimes difficult. that said, i love the indoor/outdoor openness, and that the dogs sleep out in the same area they play.

Best place to take our doggy to daycare. I love the emails they send and they take such good care of the pups and the facility. Highly recommend.

Wagville is amazing!! The staff are so caring and kind and I love that I can watch my pup on the web cams. My dog absolutely loves it and gets so excited when we pull up to the building :) so happy we found such an awesome place for doggy day camp!

WagVille is run by an excellent team. Everyone is professional and skillful and create a warm and playful atmosphere for our dog, Luna. We love the level of attention the dogs get and the nice routines set by WagVille. Your dog can play indoors with fellow pooches or outdoors in the wading pools. The webcams are such a nice touch and are well positioned. Any time we need a sitter, we rely on WagVille. Long term stays are no problem. Just be sure to call ahead because they are in high demand as they should be. Raving reviews only.

Left my dogs there for a weekend getaway. They have a camera/webcam where you can see them. Discount given for multiple dogs. A bit pricey than some other doggy camps but you get what you pay for. Service is awesome. Staff are very helpful and attentive. Will use their service again.

Marie is amazing. Wow. She’s the most amazing cat whisperer. We are so blessed and grateful we met Marie our savior for our love JJ. I have had total peace in heart and mind that JJ was with Marie. And he started glowing and looked so happy and healthy. I never worried even though our parting took longer than expected. We are so so grateful a sb appreciative that God aligned our love with Marie. Thank you forever.

We absolutely love the Den for our pup! They are caring, attentive, and a fun group of individuals. We send Utah to agility classes, and she recently completed a Reactive Rover class, we have seen a significant improvement in her ability to listen to us and not be as reactive to strangers. We also send Utah here for daycare and boarding, as this is a place we trust. We have also recommended friends bring their pups to Den, and Utah hangs out with her Den friends outside of daycare.

5-stars for this business. My dog has never been so happy, and he’s an experienced doggy daycarer! The ‘Den Urban Dog Retreat’ are mindful of everything from the moment you handover in the am, the time spent in their care, the activities played, updates which provide a daily photo (attached), to the final collection in the pm. Also, it’s clear that they treat and train their staff well, because they are all so lovely and informative. Wow, I don't even know where to start with this amazing place! I'm SO GRATEFUL to have found them for my Nova. The staff is beyond fantastic - all so caring and compassionate and clearly so passionate about dogs. I was nervous trying a new daycare and overnight facility for my dog, but they made me feel SO comfortable when I dropped her off and they were so great with her. I got great updates every day via emailed photos, and could tell my girl was totally chill there. When I picked her up, it was so clear that they had really paid attention to her all week and given her the love that I hoped they would. I have never trusted a facility or group of dog lovers more than I trust Den. I can't recommend them highly enough!! Truly so, so grateful to have found them. They go above and beyond for dogs' happiness and care.

We've taken our goldendoodle here every other week or so for grooming for a couple of years now. We tried a few others in the area until our friends told us about Linda here at DEN. She is so nice and our dog loves both the haircuts and the bath and brush sessions. I love that our dog doesn't come home smelling like cleaning chemicals like he did from the other local groomers we tried. All the people who work there are very nice and obviously love all the dogs there. Booking appointments is easy through the website. Tip: Book appointments about a week ahead of time to get the times you want.

These folks are just extremely special amazing fantastic people and caregivers. Ownership and staff are all warm and compassionate yet firm and knowledgeable about the best way to handle dogs, in our experience. Early on, we signed up our Cleo for their puppy socialization and that was very impactful for her in the best way. These days she goes with them every morning for a hike and twice a week she stays with them all day for playtime. She has even stayed overnight with them for as long as a month - special diet and all. I can’t say enough good things about the people here . This is even better than leaving your dog with family or best friends.

My dog Atlas, who is a very sensitive little guy with a traumatic past, has such a great time at Den. Before his meet and greet he was shaking in the car, now he knows exactly where we are when we pull up and his tail is wagging the whole way. I've had bad experiences with other daycare centers, but it's so clear that everyone who works at Den actually loves the dogs and wants what's best for them. So glad to have found Den and can't recommend them enough!

DEN Urban Dog Retreat adds so much to the beauty of this city, Los Angeles. I couldn't be more grateful for the paw-bulous work they do for doggies and their human parents alike. This establishment is condescending and rude. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for years and we’ve always helped each other out with each others pets. Recently one of our dogs has been getting out more and finding his way to this establishment (obviously because he smells other dogs) this afternoon they decided to lecture an 18 year old and basically threatened to catch and rehome the dog if it happens again. As if it wasn’t bad enough you’re gentrifying the neighborhood we love, now you think you’re better than the actual community? Never taking a dog here.

Very friendly staff and they definitely know their stuff. Booked my dog for day care since I don't always have time to give her the attention she needs and when I picked up my dog she was calm and happy like I have seldom seen! The rest of their pack really balanced out my dogs personality and I could tell she was happy and had got some good exercise in. We also got her groomed in their fabulous spa room (see pic). It's the kind of place that people would like to stay at, not just the dogs! Great job guys, we'll be back!

My dog is treated with love and care- they are 100% attentive and keep the daycare sizes small. This not only show that the owners are not in it for the profit only- but they actually care about the well being of your pet. They go above and beyond basic doggy services. It’s been a huge gift to have their support with my fur baby and my schedule. Tried many other locations and this is leagues above the rest. Do not hesitate to feel secure in knowing your pet will have the best care possible.

We love Country Dog Ranch, we needed a place for our active Belgian Malinois pity mix to go for boarding that knew how to fulfill the needs of our dog. We searched and searched and then a friend referred us to CDR and it has been a life saver we can go on vacation or even send her out for a day and know that she is well taken care of and that she has such a blast out there and always comes back tired. And we love checking the Instagram feed while she is out there to see her having a blast with all the other dogs and playing in the pool.

I am BEYOND satisfied with Dominic’s & Country Dog Ranch service. After needing a place for my Border Collie medium-sized 2-year-old dog to be taken care of. this has been by far the BEST experience that my puppy has had yet. The professionalism, constant communication & well-way responsive messages really did help and went a long way. Videos were sent throughout the stay and no worries about my sweet fur baby. I can’t wait for her stay again soon! I HIGHLY recommend this stay for your puppy! Thank you so very much. We are extremely happy! Ps. The pickup and drop off also goes such a long way! My puppy is now passed out sleeping after all fun activities she had.

Country Dog Ranch is the best! I know my dog always has a great time because he tries to run to every van that looks like the ones that CDR uses for pickup and drop-off. We have been using Country Dog Ranch for boarding for 3 years and recommend it to all our friends, who now send their dogs to CDR as well. Highly recommend!

The Country Dog Ranch is excellent. I take my dog there every time I have to travel for work or otherwise. I really trust them to take care of my dog Bryant. He always has so much fun there and the owner sends me videos of my dog on walks or in the pool. The owner (Dominique Dewitte) is excellent and very communicative and can arrange for pickups sometimes. Your dog will have a great time there!

My mini goldendoodle, Maisie, has been going here for about a year now, and I cannot say enough good things about this dog daycare. For $50 a day, the dogs are picked up from your home, taken to the daycare/camp for about 8 hours, and then returned back home in the evening. Maisie loves Dominick and his staff, and she always comes back happy and tired. The dogs have 6 acres to play, and there's a pool. Dominick has always been extremely communicative and very easy to work with. He never takes on more dogs than he and his team can comfortably control and handle, which is very appreciated. I recommend Country Dog Ranch to anyone looking for an affordable daycare for their dog,. Truly the best deal around.

Country Dog Ranch has been incredible with my dog Remy. He's reliable, responsive in a pinch, and my dog absolutely loves going to daycare with him. My dog went to Country Dog Ranch for years and she absolutely loved every time she went. She got plenty of outdoor time, lots of space to run around and Dominic was always very kind to her. You can tell he has a real love for dogs and his pack is lucky to have him. Highly recommend.

Best day care and overnight boarding facility for dogs ever! Dominique is very patient with my rowdy puppy and my elder dog, who needs special care. I trust him completely with both dogs, who have ultimate respect for him. Casey loves going to the ranch for the day, romping and playing with her canine friends, swimming in the pool, running off leash all day! The in-home overnight boarding, pickup and delivery service is fabulous and the online videos of the dogs' activities are great to watch. My pup always comes home at the end of the day tired and happy.

I've been working with Dominique since 2010 and he and his wife run the most wonderful service! He's been taking my dogs twice a week for exercise and socialization, and occasional overnight boarding when I have to go out of town. I will never board my dogs anywhere else given the choice. He is thoughtful and kind and I trust him completely. He also has so much experience with dogs and gives me much needed advice when I ask. I would (and do) recommend his services to everyone!

This place is an absolute blessing! My Australian Cattle Dog stays there regularly while I travel for work and she could not be happier. Dom is an amazing person and a true dog whisperer. He runs The Country Dog Ranch impeccably and it is a beautiful place with rolling hills and open space AND a swimming pool made just for dogs!! Dom is communicative and responsive and posts videos on Facebook so you can see your dog running around having an amazing time. Also, his pick up and drop off service is priceless. I don't know how I'd get by without Dom and his wonderful Country Dog Ranch!

Renata and Rebeca are amazing!! We left on a 10 day trip and we were anxious about leaving our dogs. With Marge (our new rescue), the thought of boarding her was depressing since she was fresh out of the shelter and just getting used to being in a home again. Rio Pet Hostel provided a comfy, more personable alternative to boarding. First, we did a meet-and-greet where we met Rebeca, Renata, and their pup Mandy outside their apartment. We then went into their place so Kevin and Marge could explore the environment. Kevin and their dog Mandy immediately started playing (Kevin usually doesn't play) so we knew it would be a good fit. The apartment is extremely dog friendly, complete with a dog teepee, pet-safe balcony and lots of toys. We asked lots of questions- the dogs are never left home alone, and Rio Pet Hostel is comfortable administering medication (Marge was fresh out of surgery when we had to leave so that was key). They also love bringing the dogs outside to the dog park or beach, so they aren't just sitting around with zero stimulation. When we picked them up, they gave us 2 printed photos of our dogs from their stay and a little gift bag of dog treats! It was so nice and adorable!! They are extremely flexible with pick up/drop off times, and the ability to pay via venmo makes things super easy. While on our trip, we received daily updates consisting of amazing photos and videos. It was reassuring to see that we left our dogs in great hands. I've attached some of the amazing photos we received from Rio Pet Hostel while we were away. They are seriously stunning- I don't think we will ever do regular boarding again. Rio Pet Hostel also provides daycare, dog walking, and home visit services. Check them out- you will not regret it!

Rio Pet Hostel Hollywood is a GEM! I can't believe I am so lucky as to have found them. My dog Daisy loves them - she gets excited every day/time she comes over! And she is one tired pup when she comes home from all the fun she has! I always get adorable pictures and videos so I know what Daisy is up to, since I miss her when I'm away! The girls always work with my schedule to help me out, and I appreciate them so much. I hope I never have to find another dogsitter ever! Rio Pet Hostel is NUMBER 1!!!!

I love my pup Anya so much and would only leave her with people I really trust. I’m so glad I found Rio Pet Hostel. Renata and Rebeca are so sweet with her and are great about sending pictures, videos, and text updates. Anya is a bit timid around other dogs and I’m glad we have Rio Pet Hostel to look after her when I’m away and also give her a chance to socialize with other dogs in a safe environment.

This place is AMAZING! I’ve had my little pup stay with them overnight for one day all the way up to 9 days when I went out of town. The ladies that own this business are nothing short of living miracles! They have accommodated me on short notices and when travel plans changed. They keep in direct contact with you through your pet’s stay with photos, videos, and text updates. They even gift you a little bag of treats when you come to get your little one. My pupper loves it so much there that she doesn’t seem to want to leave when I come to pick her up! 15/10 will use this place again! No need to look any further than Rio!

Renata, Rebeca, and Mandy took fantastic care of our dog, Dipper, with all their hearts, bringing him in like one of the family, if only for just the weekend! Everyday was filled with photos and videos of Dipper popping up on our phones for our own peace of mind. Dipper had a great time and came back to us as his happiest self. They even gave us a professional photo of him and a treat to go! 5 stars is not enough!

These girls are literally my lifeline. My dog (Maus the grey Whippet) is my most precious thing in my life and as I go away for long stints for work (most recently over a month) I need to have piece of mind that she is being beautifully cared for. Maus can't wait to go back because it's way more fun with them than with me!!! They take her in as part of their wonderful family and for that I am eternally grateful. Their prices are so reasonable and what you get is literally beyond measure. Maus always comes home looking happy, healthy and content. I couldn't recommend the Rio pet hotel highly enough.
