Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

Anna was an excellent sitter - she took great care to understand all of the intricacies of taking care of the house and cats, asked lots of questions, and arrived on time and ready for the sit. My partner and I left our cat Mango in Lindsey's care for a month so that we could get married. We were going from FL to ME, so it was a long way from home. We were gone for a month. Picking the right houses sitter was important. We are so glad we picked Lindsey (and she picked us). From before Lindsey got on her plan to fly down, until she was back home again Lindsey was communicative, considerate and positive. We felt like we had a family member staying at our place and because of who she is, Mango and our home's well being was a weight off our mind during the wedding. Summer was a very top-quality pet sitter and house sitter. She not only took excellent care of all four pets (three cats and a dog) but even achieved a very close bond with one of the cats. She went over and above the call of duty with our dog, who developed a serious skin condition while we were gone. We're so grateful that Summer was able to identify there was a problem, took the dog to the vet several times, and ended up having to apply topical medication and give pills and even keep the dog dressed in a t-shirt, which she did flawlessly. She communicated with us frequently, sending photos and updates, and the house was spotless when we returned, even cleaner than when we had left. She did an amazing job, knew how to handle any situation, always had a very upbeat and positive attitude, and we really enjoyed getting to know her right before we left and right after we returned. We would very very highly recommend Summer in all respects!

Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!

Caroline is an amazing sitter ! We were far away, had never left our cat for such a long period of time and we felt really confident with her. She took great care of our cat Honey as well as she did for the house, pool and garden. She was even able to handle the end of the refection of the bathroom which was a last minute surprise… We felt Caroline was reliable and self sufficient. We had a great communication with her during our stay abroad. We even found many nice intentions when we came back from our vacations such as fresh fruits and bakeries for a nice and welcomed breakfast after a night in a plane ! If Macie and Roman ever apply to your post for a house or pet sit, I strongly encourage you to jump at the. offer. You will not be disappointed. They are among the top (if not the top) sitter I've ever had and I've been on this site for years. Primarily, they are very organized. In the weeks and days leading up to the sit, Macie and Roman kept me abreast of their plans and status. I felt very comfortable in the days leading up to the sit because I knew the plan we made to exchange the keys and walk them through the instructions would work as planned. Second, Macie and Roman really care. When they got to my apartment after a very long morning of traveling, I explained the care instructions and they were very attentive and cared about the details - asking very specific questions on how to care for my cat and apartment. I had some pretty specific rules about how to feed my cat and take care of him and Macie and Roman followed those exactly. Third, Macie and Roman make you feel comfortable while you are away. I got daily or twice daily updates about my cat. I got pictures which made me feel like my cat was having a good time. My cat came out of hiding very quickly and was snuggling with them and letting them hold him. It was so nice to see the pictures of them all bonding! Macie and Roman have a calming energy towards animals for sure! Macie and Roman were also very responsive when I reached out first - replying within 30 minutes. I really appreciated that. Fourth, Roman and Macie will take good care of your apartment/house. I came back to a SPOTLESS apartment. The towels were washed. The apartment had been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The dishwasher had been run. Everything was in its place when I returned. Honestly, cleaner than when I left it which is difficult since I am a very clean person. Macie and Roman also respects your property. We had a room we asked them not to enter and they respected that. In short, Macie and Roman are amazing. I would have them back in a heartbeat. Karen was able to step in a sit for me on short notice after another sitter canceled. She was very thorough and communicative and I felt I had left my apartment and cats in good hands with her. I came home to a clean apartment and happy cats. I definitely recommend Karen as a sitter.

Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. I can't say enough great things about Kenzie's. I have 2 dogs that I try to get there 1-3 times a week. The pricing is more then fair for both daycare and overnights (I have used both services). My dogs always come home happy and worn out after a long day of playing with other pups. They also offer services like grooming etc. Couldn't be happier or feel safer with my pups being at Kenzie's. Highly recommend if you have dogs for any service they offer.

I recently adopted this little sweetheart from there. He's an amazing well rounded puppy. Only 8 weeks old and has been walking well on leash, great with my 3 cats, my friends' and family's dogs, my two young kids (3&5yo), and has already been camping and out to an outdoor restaurant with us. He sleeps, eats and plays well. He goes off to lie down when he needs some downtime and has been good to let me know if he needs to go outside. Colette has been wonderful to answer questions and provide payment options. I've toured her facility and met the parents and her dogs and her facility is top notch!! Honestly it's like a 5 star resort for dogs. Absolutely beautiful place. If I decide to get another dog in the future it'll definitely be from Paradise Kennels :)
I picked up my puppy Emily (April 21, 2023 litter) on June 24th. I immediately fell in love with her. I chose PetsGo to meet me at a location closer to me, and they were so professional, but so kind and loving to my little girl. We have enjoyed each other's company immensely, and she has the sweetest personality. When she is "on" there is a ton of energy, but at bedtime, her off switch is equally effective. She has slept in her crate every night since I brought her home, with no issues!. Paradise Kennels has been so helpful, and Emily is the picture of health. Easy to train, and with the sweetest personality ever. The only issue with their Havanese is they are like potato chips...you can't just have one! You always want more!

One month in with our little Havanese pup and we couldn't be more delighted. She is such a chill, calm, loving, playful little girl. I definitely say the breed and the breeder are highly recommended.
All purebred dogs must be registered in Canada, by law. Beware, Paradise Kennel states on their website that they do not register their dogs. If it is a purebred dog, you are entitled to registration papers. Buy from a reputable breeder, not Paradise Kennel.

We love our havanese puppy we got there. It's not all about the sale. They love their puppies and want to stay in touch with them. Give excellence advice. Highly recommend. They also breed other breeds of dogs.
I purchased my Morkie from Paradise and he is a true sweetheart!
Wonderful experience all the way around with Paradise Kennel and Colette. Benji (Riley June 1 2019). Benji is happy, healthy and adored! Wanted to comment due to the negative review recently posted. Benji, too, tested positive for Giardia. On speaking with my vet, this parasite is quite simply everywhere these days and it is easy for a pup to pick up. As careful as a breeder may be - I have personally visited Paradise Kennel and the premises are spotlessly clean - theses days Giardia is everywhere. Like all the other parasites a pup must be treated for, it is easily cleared when present. Second, umbilical hernias may evulse (protrude) at any time while previously being undetectable. It is the same as with people. Highly recommend Paradise. I know several people who have pups from Paradise and everyone is thrilled with their furry family members.

AJ's has been my pet sitter for over a year. Allyson the owner is a true "life saver" to my dog and cat. She is timely, responsible, and my pets adore her. She comes daily, does over nights, and has filled in while on vacation. She has taken them to the vet during emergent situations when I could not be there. She is able to administer meds if needed, has insights to some of my behavior questions.There is nobody I trust more than her with them.I believe my pets would choose her over me too, she is more fun. I highly recommend her for your furry "loved ones".
Allyson and her team have been walking my dog, Honey weekly for over 5 years. They are great with Honey who is strong and energetic and even take her to the dog park. Usually love this place but had a recent issue. Cat came home with bleeding and anxiety and had to go to the Vet. Ended up on antibiotics for 10 days. Tried calling and sent email asking if any other animals may have had an issue. Also concerned my cat may have infected others. Complete silence. No return call or message despite my effort. If this were a single time I’d be semi ok but two years ago our dog came home with a cough that needed treating. I get that they don’t want to get blamed for these health issues and it may be frustrating for them but a simple courtesy to a long time client seems like the least they could’ve done. Won’t be back.
We housed a homeless lady's dog for a little over a month & needed the hair trimmed to keep him cleaner. Some groomers are booked out several weeks. The groomer at the club offered and she did a wonderful job with him. The place is warm and clean. The dogs that are boarding at the kennel are taken care of, their holding areas are set up in sections in a way the dogs can hang out, go bathroom, and go outside. It's a cool set up! The road into the kennel is quiet and pretty, a great view for you and your pet. The staff are great and care about animals.
My dog and I loved the Canine Country Club & Feline Inn! She is usually frightened of new people and places, but the gentle, patient welcome she received upon our arrival for day boarding allowed for a smooth and reassuring dropoff. The facility is lovely and communications with the manager and carers was excellent. Very accommodating, we will definitely bring our pet here again.
We have boarded our dog Sophie at the Canine Country Club a number of times when we go out of town. The people there always remember us and take good care of my little baby. I completely trust them to give her the medication she takes daily. Sophie goes in the door wagging and comes home happy and healthy.
Although they told me they had never had a 'family of six dogs' stay (be boarded) with them, I was thoroughly pleased to see my babies were very well taken care of, and loved as much during their stay, as they get when they are home. I was so happy with their service, that I now book all flights out of Bangor airport and pay the difference (even though I love closer to Portland airport) just so I can take my babies to this facility! I would highly recommend this place!
Our dogs LOVE this place. We’ve boarded them here twice. The second time, we had just turned off Rt 1 and were headed down the road to the kennel when the dogs started bouncing around and whining like they do when they’re really excited. I don’t know what these folks do to make them so happy, but it’s evident to me that my dogs would happily live here full-time. I honestly think it’s a bit of a let-down when we pick them up and bring them home.

Kasey has always had a positive experience at Canine Country Club. She was a rescue dog who was very timid at first but Sarah, Chris and the staff made her feel at home. They gave us peace of mind when we were had to go out of town. Thanks!
We left our dog here for three days while on a business trip, and everyone was very friendly. However, when we got her home again, we noticed she had a limp and wasn't eating. Eventually she did eat but she seems much more tentative about it now and will not eat when people are around. I have no idea what happened there, and it may be that none of this is the fault of the staff, but nevertheless, I don't think we'll be boarding her there ever again.

Great place to kennel your dog if you are not able to take your best friend (eh hem, the dog). They take great care of your 4 legged pooch, giving you a piece of mind so you can take care of what you need to take of. Love this place and we will use their service again.
We have to board one of the dogs coming up soon. So with a little sniffing around, and a few phone calls, we ended up bringing the puppy up there for a meet n greet. The woman who runs the place seems nice. She gave us a little tour and told us about everything. As long as our pup doesn't come back knocked up or beat up, I'll be changing the 4 ⭐ to a 5 ⭐.
