Aloha, my name is Juan Ramirez and I like to share my experience with bringing my dog Finn to Kauai Pet Sitting and grooming, I met with Emily and she showed me the facility. The place is clean and safe. She gave me the option if I would like to have Finn with other dogs or by himself. We partnered him with her dog Biscuit and they immediately started to play. As I’m on vacation she kept me informed with videos and photos and it gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Emily and Biscuit.

Heather is very knowledgeable and friendly! She truly cares for and loves every single animal. . Also I had a million questions about my newly adopted dog not even regarding pet boarding, and she gladly answered every question and gave me wonderful advice. I highly recommend this place!

Heather and Emily are very nice!! I hope they have plans to make a prepared path from the parking area to the grooming building because my white Husky had to walk through the dirt right after his grooming. Also, I was a bit let down when Heather informed me that not very much fur came off my Husky, but when I arrived home I ran a brush through his fur to find quite a bit still coming out with ease. Alas, he did come home smelling quite nice!

Thank you Heather for taking care of our sweet Luka Boy! Always kept in contact, catered to his every need without hesitation, and sent photos everyday! Heather is awesome! My dog buddy is a rescue dog that is very shy and usually scared to go to strangers. Heather did an amazing job on making him feel safe! He was so happy and looked amazing after his grooming session :)

We had the pleasure of meeting Heather of Kauai Pet Sitting and Grooming in June. We were looking for a pet sitter to care for our female GSD.Duchess our German Shepherd spends 1 day week with Heather and on several occasions Duchess has spent a week at Kauai Pet Sitting. Heather’s staff is awesome!, there is a genuine love that they show our Duchess. The wonderful thing about having our GSD at Kauai Pet Sitting is the ability for the her to run around with the other dogs that are there. There is a gazebo in the play area where the dogs can relax without the need to be put in a kennel. The dogs are free to run and play all day!. A staff member is always in the playground area to play with the dogs. Another great part of having our GSD at Kauai Pet Sitting and Grooming is we can request a grooming session before we pick Duchess up. I had my Chihuahua boarded at Kauai Pet Sitting. We went to the mainland and unexpectedly came down with Covid. Heather and her assistants were incredible. We had to extend our stay. She was very accommodating and understanding and when he started to board there she picked him up at our home and dropped him off at the end of his stay as well. I got sent several pictures a day of my Mijo and he always looked happy and part of the family. He even came back with obvious improvements in housebreaking. He was a rescue, and although he was adult, he apparently had not been potty trained. They took him on walks everyday. The facility was safe and comfortable and he had a puppy, Romeo, that he happily and vigorously played with every day he was there. Heather had great suggestions about his care and shared her observations about his behavior, which was very helpful for me. Clearly she has a lot of experience in the care of animals. I would not consider any other boarder. Heather is the best and I have boarded several dogs. I could tell that she loved my Mijo like he was her own.

Heather was very helpful and knowledgeable. My pup stayed the weekend and got a grooming, we will be back.

Karen and the team are very professional and amazing. You can tell how much love they have for our dogs. The training program is 10/10 recommend. My dog was very unwell and now she’s a confident happy pup.

This is Kauai's premier dog behavioral rehabilitation center. Their methods are strict because they take on some tough dogs. They give each individual pup the structure and experience they need to live a healthy, stress-free lifestyle, ESPECIALLY if it's a working breed dog with high drive. If you need your dog boarded or just want your pup socialized, they also offer supervised playtimes, structured exercise, and some grooming/personal pamper options as well. Great place, Karen is the bomb!

I cannot express enough the amazing job Karen did with my girl Mila!! We recently brought our 7 year old Pitbull mix to Bark Bark, seeking help, as she was developing separation anxiety every time we left the house. She was destroying our furniture or just trying to escape, which she has never done before. I had tried many things but it wasn't until I took her to Bark Bark! that we found an answer. When I called, they reassured me they could help, of course I was a little nervous because she was not a puppy anymore but figured I should give it a try. I dropped her off for her initial assessment and after that, we left her for "boot camp" training for 10 days (so hard not to see her!) but as soon as I picked her, she was a different dog. They went over everything she had learned over these past 10 days, showed me videos and answered any questions I had. I felt like I was getting a new dog but my same sweet girl! There is a lot of work to be done at home, this is a must, but now our girl is crate trained, our walks are so enjoyable (she does not pull anymore, she walks by my side and does not attempt to launch at trucks or other dogs) she eats and sleeps in her crate, and more recently, she started to put herself to bed in her crate without having me take care. I have no words to describe how happy and pleased I am with Karen and the whole team! I really thought there was no help out there for my girl, but I was wrong. And Karen is always there to answer any questions or concerns via text! I 100% recommend them and would do this all over again in a heartbeat! My husband and I are so grateful to you guys and Mila as well :)

We had a wonderful experience working with Karen & RJ! Our 8 month old English Cream Golden Retriever, Darby, already at nearly 60 lbs, was just more puppy than we could handle! We all gained an incredible amount of knowledge during her training, but still have a long way to go. Karen was available via text and extremely helpful getting us through those first few weeks of training. We have since moved off island, but continue working with Darby as we were instructed and appreciate knowing we can still call if we need help. We look forward to that initial 90-days of "coming to a meeting of the minds" with Darby but know full well she is a smart, but stubborn kind of girl! We won't give up and know with the training we received at Bark! Bark! Backyard! we will have a sweet Golden that won't constantly pull - someday! We highly recommend this facility for doggy daycare as well! It was a huge blessing to take Darby there while we were packing and getting our house ready to sell.

My two dogs Oliver and Kingsley LOVE bark bark as much as we do! Karen and her team take such great care of them and they are always so tired after their stay. I know the boys are in good hands with them. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place and wonderful training. We use daycare 2x/wk and my dog is always excited to go. Karen is a master trainer and has immensely improved our relationship with our dog. I have only great things to say about them.

Karen and her team are amazing! They did an excellent job in training and setting the ground work for our dog so we as owners can build upon by helping us understand our dog better.

Bark bark’s experienced trainers have trained me and my partner to be much better dog owners and our whole family (including our pup) is better because of it. Their obedience training has worked really well for us and they have been wonderful in addressing any questions we have during or long after the trainer program was completed. I highly recommend their services.

We take both of our dogs here and have done the week long bootcamp and it was the best thing we could have done for our dogs. We have two big rambunctious dogs who are lovers but need structure. Boot camp was life changing for them and for us. Owners Karen & RJ not only train the dogs, but coach us humans too, and to great result. Our dogs are better behaved than ever, and they seem calmer and happier too. The dogs can't wait to go to Bark Bark - they loved it so much that now we take them for 2 or 3 sessions a week. They have great prices available for 5 packs, and you can do half days to make a 5 pack last for 10 days! They do sessions on the doggie treadmill, socialization class with other dogs, daily structured walks, training games and naps in comfy kennels. Highly recommended! They can handle problem dogs too - if you have a dog that needs help with ANYTHING, take them to Bark Bark!
