Young was the perfect house sitter for us. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is animal person and is detailed oriented and will take great care of your house and pets. She exudes a peaceful and grounded energy. She was comfortable with each our pets from the high energy dog to the shy skittish cat. She played with the dog in the yard every day and took him on walks. And she was also very attentive to our cats and figured out how to maintain the equilibrium in the relationship between the cats and dog. She is an excellent communicator; she asked questions when our directions weren't clear and kept us updated on the pets. She is also an amazing photographer. She sent us pics of our pets every day that totally captured each of their personalities.

Becca was fantastic - we cannot say enough about how great she is as a pet and house sitter and as a human being! Becca committed to the sit 8 months in advance and was great with her responsiveness in communication during the long lead up to the sit. She arrived early and got the low downs on the animals and house stuff prior to us leaving. She woke up crazy early to help us get to the airport and picked us up when we returned, which made the traveling so much easier on our end. She left the house spot-less (and this is no exaggeration), with the linens cleaned, and a wonderful meal waiting for us upon our return. She is an absolute gem of a person with a great sense of humor and a kind and compassionate nature, and she really enjoys the animals in her care. Our dog and cat were very well cared for and totally at ease upon our return. If you are lucky enough to have Becca sit for you, you will be very pleased at how well she does the job!

Kira was the best sitter we have ever had! I chose Kira because of her reviews, ability to sit during the dates I needed and willingness to communicate with my daughter/neighbor who co-parents Colby with us. I am always a bit anxious about having someone in my home and trusting them with our fluffy son. Kira put us at ease almost immediately. I received photos and videos everyday throughout the stay. I got updates on Colby’s activity and the fun they were having together. My heart felt full knowing that Colby was being well loved and cared for. Additionally, Kira was so kind to keep us posted on any deliveries that arrived at the house. Finally, when I arrived home, the house was tidy and clean! Again, I am so grateful that Kira was there keeping the house and my cat safe! I hope she will come back and sit again. I know Colby would love to see her again.

Wow! Just wow! We cannot say enough about the care and compassion Trisha and John provided to our cats and our home. We are always somewhat nervous about a new pet sitter in our home, but that all faded when we met this wonderful couple. They provided daily updates as requested, complete with pictures, videos and personalized captions. Upon our return, we were greeted by happy and content kitties. There was no sign of anxiety in Tika! Yea!!! Our home was clean, the sheets and towels were washed and bed remade! They even left behind thank you notes and little gifts! What a breath of fresh air these two individuals are! We hope to have them back again soon.

Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.

Kathryn was such nice and kind sitter that both of my boyfriend and me were grateful to have, including my cats!! My cats seemed having great time with her, being around her, chilling on couch with her, or even sitting on her. I got several photos of my cats from her with whort updates. I’m thankful that she let me do facetimes with her when I missed my cats. The house was clean and tidy when we came back. I definately will ask her again to sit my cats and house when I need. Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.

We've had many pet/house sitters over the last few years and Cat and Eugene will reside at the top of the list of favorites! From my first email with Cat I knew I liked her. She has all of the qualities of a good house and pet sitter: Reliable, a good listener, organized, flexible, caring, and honest. She and Eugene arrived exactly on time for our pre-sit visit, where they got to meet Maya and become familiarized with the house. It was a delight to visit with them and become comfortable knowing Maya would be in good hands. Our scheduled dates changed somewhat and they were extremely flexible and easy going about the changes. Upon our return home, we found the house pretty much in the exact condition we left it in. I can tell that great care was taken for Maya and for the house. Maya seemed to still be looking for them the next day, wandering around the house wondering where the other people who loved her went. I would recommend Cat and Eugene for anyone looking for reliable, kind, respectful, caring, tidy, and honest sitters. If I am lucky, I will get to have them back to sit for me again.

My cavapoo Rufus has stayed both for daycare and overnight boarding with Vetsit and most recently a long holiday which he absolutely adored. Rufus can be an anxious pup both around dogs and when spending time away from his family but it’s clear to me he has found both a second home and an extension of family with the other pups and staff at Vetsit. While away on holidays, Rufus received the VIP Vetsit experience as aside from the endless cuddles, I was able to avail of regular hair brushing, tooth brushing and a dog bath which left him looking and feeling his best during and after his stay! The staff have been nothing short of amazing, always giving me peace of mind with daily pictures of him and his friends on their Instagram, daily updates on their website and a direct contact number for any queries I might have at any time. If you’re looking for a place you can trust, look no further, they are pawsitively the best in the business 🐾
Wally absolutely adored his recent weeks holiday to VetSit, and from seeing all of the photos and updates it is no surprise why! He spent his days making lots of new pals, running around in the fields and charming lots of cuddles with all of the staff. We were anxious leaving him given how spoilt he is at home, but the regular photos on Instagram and on our VetSit account reassured us he had instantly been made one of the family. We came home to a happy, healthy Wally who will absolutely be back after the above and beyond care and fun he had at VetSit.
For the last couple of years our two dogs Lottie and Mia have gone weekly to Vetsit for doggy daycare and have also stayed overnight on a number of occasions. The team are so kind and caring. Mia is an older dog and Lottie is very small and can be nervous at times around other dogs, and the team cater to their needs and look after them so well, going above and beyond. They also get their grooming done at Vetsit during daycare every couple of months, and we regularly get compliments on how well groomed they are afterwards. I can’t recommend Vetsit enough!
Our two dogs stayed last weekend for their first overnight. We were really happy. The dogs were happy. Then staff are all very authentic and passionate about dogs. Lovely videos of our two dogs having fun in the field and we could see the nice warm sofas the dogs sleep on. The team take an individual approach to each dog. We are booked for a week now and I feel a lot of peace of mind in letting Katie Amy and the VetSit team mind our dogs.
My 2 pups have been visiting Vetsit for over two years now. The staff are excellent and always take such great care of them both. One of my dogs is very nervous and anxious, but LOVES her visits! My other is older and has had a few health issues. She is always well cared for. I could not recommend them enough.

Teidi and Daisy got on brilliantly at VetSit! We are so pleased that we have somewhere safe that can take care of both of our dogs. Our eldest, Teidi, has never been in a boarding environment before and usually gets minded by friends and family...which is much harder to arrange now that we have Daisy. VetSit was like a home from home. The dogs were well exercised and calm when they came home. The staff member who greeted us was so warm and reassuring. We are thrilled that we have found VetSit.
Lilly Pug has been going to VetSit regularly for daycare and boarding since she was old enough to do so, and she absolutely loves it! Lilly is very much a Mama's girl and VetSit is one of the few places she'll actively go into without a backward glance to check that I'm there too. She always comes home happy and tired out from having so much fun! VetSit's facilities are second to none with acres of fields for the dogs to run around and play, comfortable sleeping areas and a team of people who obviously love what they do and love the animals in their care. Simply put, they're the best in the business!
It was Molly’s first time at VetSit and she loved it! All the staff are always very friendly and helpful, and they really take a very good care of all dogs. Our Molly is still a baby, she’s only 3 months old and the staff managed to look after her very very well. VetSit is like a paradise for dogs:) Big Thank You to all staff! We will see you soon. Our 2 dogs absolutely loved their recent stay at vetsit. The team are so lovely and looked after the dogs so well. We were able to see the dogs each day on the Instagram updates and they always looked like they were loving the freedom of running around in the fields. One of our dogs is older and the girls were really conscious of this. I can highly recommend this for a lovely homely place to leave your loved ones… !

Another great stay for Noodle! Leaving Noodle at Beeches Brook makes it easy for me to have a relaxing time on my human vacation, knowing that he will be having a best time on his dog vacation. As always, he was in excellent condition when I picked him up - he was obviously in very caring hands. Patricia and Philip are always so kind; it's clear they really love dogs and take a lot of factors into account in looking after them.
I collected Persi and Bunti this morning after a week with Patricia and Philip and Co. They were in great form and looked as if they had been well cared for. I was especially pleased to note that their eyes were lovely and clean (poodles tend to have gucky eye discharge which needs regular removal). This was their first holiday in Beeches Brook but it certainly won’t be their last. Thank you all for looking after my precious pooches.
Our dog Mick loves his holidays here and always comes back tired and happy from them. No distress or acting out and if he had his way would stay as long as he could. Owners are excellent to deal with and payment is very convenient and reasonable too.
Excellent. We have left our Labrador with Patricia and Philip in Beeches Brook over the last few years and highly recommend it. Our dog is so happy when we drop him. He always gets a warm welcome - as do we! Beautiful grounds and surroundings. It is great peace of mind to have somewhere we can leave him safe, happy and well looked after by a nice family who clearly love dogs.
Left my 2 dogs here for a week and cant fault the care and attention they received, Patricia and her team really care and I could tell that the dogs were very happy during their stay, I would have no hesitation in reccomending Beeches Brook kennels to anyone.
Highly recommend Beeches Brookes boarding kennels. Our small mixed breed dog Coco goes in happy tail wagging every single time. She was just there on her holidays for just over two weeks and bounded in. We are so lucky we found Beeches Brookes for our Coco, we have great peace of mind when we drop her in that she is being well taken care of
We have a 10yr old Labrador who has been staying in Beeches Brook since he has been a puppy. So thats 10 years with about 3 or 4 stays a year with a yearly 2 week stay during the summer. Patricia and her family look after the animals like they are their own pets, our Lab is a quiet sensitive dog and he never shows any upset going into the kennels and when we collect him he is always in really good condition. We spent a lot of time researching kennels and getting personal feedback so have no hesitation in recommending Beeches Brook Kennels.
We’ve left our dog here over last few years. Beeches brook is a professionally run kennels which we have utmost confidence in. When we leave Rocky he’s happy and when we collect him he’s happy. Highly recommend
Three strikes and you’re out, I’ve sent my Lab here on three separate occasions and had vet bills to cover issues from all three occasions. Not prepared to pay for kennel and vet bills, god knows what’s happening between drop off and collection.
Highly recommend Beeches Brook Boarding Kennels to take excellent care of your pet while away. Beautiful grounds and fields for them to run around and the Kennel owners were very friendly and kind to deal with. I was really happy overall in regards the care given and had piece of mind while I was away which is what you really want.Pleased to say mine was in very good condition physically and mentally on collection. Most certainly would like to use their services again.

Runamutt Doggy Daycare is amazing. It is very reasonably priced, flexible opening hours, great location and lots of space (indoors and outdoors) for the dogs to play and socialise. Seb is fantastic with all sizes / types of dogs, so patient and experienced with them all. We have two dogs (a puppy and a 5 year old) who have very different personalities. The 5 year old being a little fussy, set in her own ways and can make strange but within a few days at Runamuttdoggydaycare Seb fast became her favourite person and that remains 5 months later as evidenced by her dashing to get out the car first when I drop them in the mornings. Both dogs are so happy and tired (which is a big plus) in the evenings when they are at daycare! I can’t recommend Seb and his team more - a hidden gem for doggy daycare!
Seb is incredible with the dogs. I’ve seen him with all breeds, all sizes. What a fantastic location too! The space the dogs have is second to none. Honestly wish it was me that was staying there for the day and my dog was going to the office. If I could leave more stars I would!
Such a fantasic place for dogs to have a fun day out. Its great to know Daisy is being so well looked after, she really enjoy going and when she comes home she is exhausted after a day running around in the fields with other dogs. Drop off and collection times are fab, can leave her in before work (she doesnt even look back) and collect her afterwards no problem.

Highly recommend Runamutt! Gizmo is fearful of humans but Seb has fast become his favourite person! The freedom the dogs have is amazing. The opening hours are so accommodating for people working… Myself and Gizmo cant say enough nice things :-)

We send our German Shepherd Shado to Runamutt and we absolutely love it! Shado always gets so exited to see Seb and all the other dogs she gets to play with doesn't even look back to say goodbye she gets that excited, after her session she comes home happy and contented after a day of fun! We love how welcoming Seb and the team from Runamutt is from the day we met and we knew our pup would be happy and treated with so much love and getting the space to roam and play safely. It is such a fun place for dogs to explore and to see other animals there as well, it's a one of a kind service couldn't recommend enough. 🐾
Seb is just amazing with the dogs, very knowledgeable and caring. Our 3 month old Connie loved the day there. The place is just amazing, large fields to run around and play with other dogs. She also got to meet horses and goats and for sure this place will become our weekly heaven for our little one .
Great location and Seb is so good with the dogs. I feel very safe leaving mine with him.
Our Springer Spaniel loves her days at Runamutt, she's grown much more confident playing with other dogs especially the larger breeds. Plenty of space for dogs of all sizes to stretch their legs too.

Our dog Mia stayed with Adrian for 2 weeks. She is home almost 2 wks. She came home a fit and happy dog. Adrian sent me photos and didn't mind keeping me up to date on Mia's stay with him. He collected and delivered Mia home. He's a very nice and interesting person and has a great understanding of dogs which is assuring. He's extremely punctual. I highly recommend Little Delights for pet boarding. My dog Bella gets so excited everytime she sees Adrian! We really enjoy the at home boarding as our dog does much better in a home environment. He provides updates and photos which is so helpful for my peace of mind while away. From the moment we met Adrian at the complimentary meet and greet prior to her first stay I could tell she would be in good hands. You can tell he has an extensive knowledge of dogs and truly cares about their comfort and well being. The collection and drop off service is always prompt and very handy for organizing around travel. I recently contacted Adrian for dog boarding. We had a meet and greet. Adrian is a lovely man and shows true passion for dogs/animals. Our dog Hugo stayed for 9 days with Adrian, I received photos and updates on Hugo while on holiday. This gave me peace of mind. I came home to a very happy boy. I highly recommend Adrian.. I am so happy that I have found someone I can trust to take care of my dog.
I left my dog and cat in Adrian’s care and he did a wonderful job looking after them both. The dog stayed with him while the cat remained at home. We have been using pet sitters for the past 5 months or so a few times a week and they have been brilliant. Jessica our main sitter is outstanding and really looks after the dogs so well. We had an issue this week whilst on holidays abroad. A family member suddenly was unable to mind our pets and this happened while we were away. We rang Mike and he immediately at no notice at all sorted a live in sitter for the last few days of our holiday. James came to the house and took over and we couldn’t be happier with the care he gave. We are so grateful for this wonderful service. We would be lost without Mike and his team 🙌🙌

Amazing service! We had Valeria staying with our three dogs for just over a week and she treated them so well. They were really happy and relaxed when we came home after our trip. She communicated any concerns with us and sent us regular updates! We will be using this service again in the future. It's a great feeling knowing your pets are taken care of while you're not home.
I was nervous of the idea of using a Petsitter as we have typically relied on family previously. From the initial enquiry call from Mike, I was instantly relieved we had another option for our two dogs, one being reactive, kennels just isn’t an option. From the initial video call with our sitter, Chrissy, to get to know her, we knew our dogs were in really safe and capable hands. From the moment she walked in the door our dogs liked her. She took the time to ask about their habits and routines and what they liked. Sending photos and updates several times throughout the weekend where they looked lovely and relaxed. As a bonus our house was also looked after while we were gone. We couldn’t recommend this service enough and Chrissy for being brilliant! 100% recommend and will be using again, thank you for taking care of Scout and Pepper!
Very happy with the service we received. Davi the sitter kept in contact with us throughout the 9 days. Cats looked happy, healthy and importantly relaxed on our return. Davi sent us videos so we could see them and see that they were relaxed while we were away. This was our first time using Pet Sitters Ireland and we will definitely book again when the need arises. A real sense of relief to know out beloved pets are safe and in good hands.
Amazing service! Our little dachshund Daphne is nervous of strangers so we were extremely anxious to leave her while we got married. Michael the owner is so lovely and friendly, he really put us at ease and arranged everything for us. Daphne stayed with Paul & Jane who looked after her like she was their own dog. She settled in so well with Paul & Jane, it shows how gentle and caring they are towards animals. We got regular updates and they even travelled to our wedding ceremony so Daphne could be part of the day. It was so wonderful to have her there. We cannot thank you all enough for everything you have done for us and Daphne. We wouldn't hesitate to leave Daphne in your care again. We will be highly recommending you to everyone we know.
I had a wonderful pet sitter called Emilia. She was absolutely fantastic so kind to my cat Ozzie. She did an amazing job and is a credit to the company. In the run up to organising my trip the owner Mike and anyone I spoke to in the office were so nice and helpful. I am always nervous to leave my cat as he is an older cat but I wouldn’t trust him with anyone else. I got updates and photos and felt totally at ease that he had the best care. My dachshund Danann took part in the Nose of Tralee 2024 as the Kildare Nose and it’s been the most fun experience! Kate from Pet Sitters is a pleasure to work with and sent us out some lovely treats and a beautiful sash for Danann to campaign in! We had so much fun making videos, taking pictures and writing up a blog for Danann during and in the run up to the final of the competition! Kate kept the excitement and going for all of the Noses from beginning to end of the process! We had so much craic and would definitely recommend that our dog/cat loving pals apply next year!
Would strongly discourage using this service. I had a ‘meet and greet’ with a sitter who was booked to come and look after my pet. I didn’t hear from her on the day she was supposed to come nor was a pet care journal entry completed. I text to see if she had any issues and received no response. On the following day she contacted me directly to ask if her boyfriend could use my parking space when ‘they’ came over to walk my dog. I asked her again how was he previous visit as I hadn’t heard anything. She proceeds to tell me she never came because she had to go away and gave me the name of the girl who came in her place. I was not informed by anybody at the company that a stranger I had never met had been given the key code and access to my property. They had gone in and taken my dog out without me knowing and ever having met him. They had no instructions as to what he needs, where his lead etc. And food were. It was absolutely horrendous to think of a stranger entering your home and taking your dog out without your permission, never mind how stressful this would be for the dog. The manager eventually ‘text’ me an apology and said he had not thought to inform me that the sitter I had paid for was not available and he had supplied access instructions to another person without my knowledge/consent. I would not trust this service again. Have had to change my door code as I have no idea how many people know my access details now.

Cosmo has been attending day care the last few weeks once or twice a week to help with socialising and separation anxiety. He loves it. The girls were super supportive and offered me get help and advice with the crate training and I left full of confidence and things have been much better since. This wouldn't have been possible without their support and chat with me. We had been let down with another day care as cosmo is a big breed puppy who is very excited but there's a great variety of all dogs here. There's a well stocked shop with everything and well priced and loads of great pet items not only for dogs. I delighted we were recommended to come here. Sam, shauna and Kate you are brilliant 👏 my dog is exhausted after day care and so excited when we pull up. The hours are brilliant as well.
Great doggy day care/ pet store. All breeds are welcome and are looked after well. Owner and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, great dog grooming studio attached as well.
Sam and his team are excellent carers and minders. Ella has been going there since she was three months old. She gets excited the minute we turn into the parking lot and can’t wait to go meet her friends. And she is exhausted coming back after a day’s fun and games. Sam also has carefully selected products stocked on the shelves from tasty treats to toys. I highly recommend Happy Irish Dogs, give it a go for a day and see how your pet likes it, I’m sure they would love it.
Our dog Roxy loves going to Happy Irish Dogs. The minute we drive over she knows where she is going & gets very excited. She wants to jump out and play with her furry friends as quickly as possible. Same excitement for the last 5 years! Sam and his staff are fantastic. I could not recommend it highly enough - such a great place!
A fantastic company. I ordered toys for my dog on 18th March (a Bank Holiday), the order was processed same day and arrived on 22nd. I even got a notification from the courier about the arrival. They also included a tasty treat for my pup which in the package which was a very nice touch. Highly recommend checking out their website or visiting in person if you are local.
I’m leaving a five star rating for Happy Irish Dogs and another five stars for Kate who gave My dog Alfie a wonderful groom today. I will definitely be bringing Alfie back here from now on. Great customer service and their prices are very good too. Very happy customer!

My dog Lenin is 2 years old and has been going to Dogmob every Wednesday since he was around 16 weeks. It's his favourite thing in the world and he gets so excited when they come pick him up. He is a big boy but they manage him amazingly and provide a safe and fun environment for him to be able to socialize and play with other dogs. He always comes back so happy and sleepy after a good wrestle with his friends. Couldn't recommend them more 💕

My dog has been going to Dog Mob’s play group every week for the past few months and she absolutely loves it! It’s been so great to have her socialise with other dogs in a free play environment. She was a nervous dog before and has become much more confident. The guys put up instagram stories of the dogs playing and I love watching- they are always so cute! Jo and the team at the Stepaside Cattery are fantastic. Our cat Pangur returned home after a couple of weeks relaxed and calm after her time there. The Cattery did our family a huge favour taking Pangur in at short notice after our Nana went into hospital. They are kind people and clearly have a lot of affection for both humans and cats! Would highly recommend this Cattery!
Great experience with this Cattery twice. Jo is fantastic with the cats. Our cat came home relax and comfortable, which helps when you're away on holidays.

Bad experience. I wasn’t expected when I collected my cat and was allowed in apparently by accident when the owner wasn’t there. My cat had been moved from the place she had been put at drop-off. At first my cat couldn’t be found at all which was quite alarming. When she was located, it was in a very inferior shed that was cold, dirty, cut off from the main building, stank of cat litter and my cat was in a poor state. It took weeks to get her back to normal. She was very nervous and crying for an extended period. I left several messages for the owner as I was worried about what had happened to my cat and eventually got a text message (but no call-back) that apologized for the condition my cat was kept in but referred to (over personal) family problems as an excuse. Whatever was happening in their personal lives - I got a VERY strong impression that cats are routinely moved from the more acceptable accommodation to the unacceptable accommodation once the owners have left the premises. Although cats generally do not like to be moved and some change in behavior is inevitable after boarding, I have since used other catteries (my local vet for eg) and my cat has returned in a much healthier and more stable state. I do not recommend this Cattery at all.
The only place we use for our cat. It’s so green. The cats can watch wild life through their windows.
