When getting a puppy, I knew I wanted to have him go to a daycare to get out extra energy. After much research, picking Puptown was by fair the easiest decision. Knowing the love and care the staff has for these animals is unparalleled to any other. I am so happy to leave my beloved Charlie with a group of people that care about these animals. Charlie LOVES going to Puptown and we happily send him 3 days a week. Tyler and his team have the dogs best interests in site. I would highly recommend anyone to bring their dogs to Puptown!

Puptown Funk is the best doggie daycare for my Cleo girl! She comes home happy and tired from all the fun she has! The staff are amazing and know all the dog's personalities. I love that I get a "report card" about what she does while she is there and I enjoy seeing the pictures taken. I would recommend Puptown Funk to anyone looking for a fun and safe place to send their dog.

Puptown Funk is the best doggy daycare around. The staff is wonderful, the play is curated and my dog comes home not only physically tired but mentally tired too. I can tell he has been challenged to think and listen and learn. If your dog goes to Puptown Funk you won't have to worry that it's just hanging out in a pen, bored. Nor will you wonder if it just sat in a kennel all day. My dog is excited the moment we pull into the driveway. 10/10 would recommend. (I added a picture of Tonka focused on the agility course. I've already noticed he listens better since he started with the agility lessons!)

We started bringing Mack to Puptown Funk a month or so ago. He is a very energetic 15 month old golden retriever. In the time he has been going there, we have seen HUGE improvements in Mack- listening and following direction better, increased positive interaction with our family! Tyler came out to help me learn a new way to get our stubborn boy into my car. Mack looks forward to going to play (he is great at showing and vocalizing his his excitement) and he just loves all of the wonderful staff!

Puptown is a great doggy daycare. My girl Chloe goes there two to three times a week and absolutely loves it there. The handlers are awesome and Chloe gets so excited when we get there. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone to watch their dog.

I visited Puptown Funk when vacationing in Maine and couldn't be more pleased with their service and commitment, both to the individual dogs and to us people. As a former animal welfare inspector, I was quite impressed with their system of allowing dogs that get along to enjoy playing together, while keeping a watching eye over any potential conflicts and acting accordingly for the peace and safety of all. Of course that requires Tyler's (and each member of his staff) personal knowledge of each and every dog in his (their) care to understand the individual needs, quirks and limitations of each dog, allowing them (but not forcing them) to develop their social skills and being rewarded with the joys of playfulness and regular rest. I highly recommend Puptown Funk! ❤️

We are very happy to have our dog at Puptown twice a week! The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, and they take every care and precaution managing the dogs. Our dog absolutely loves going there, and the dogs don't lie! Highly recommend Tyler and the Puptown crew.

As a first time pup owner, I wanted to do everything I could for my baby girl. I've heard the scary stories some people say about doggie daycare but Puptown Funk has made all those scary stories seem just that...stories. The staff are amazing and they take fantastic care of Ruby for me on those busy days where I need her to be at daycare. I can't say enough good things about this facility. Ruby shakes with excitement when we turn into the driveway and she runs inside. She's greeted every morning with a warm hug from the staff and they provide report cards weekly to discuss how she did. Anyone looking for a daycare for their pup...please use Puptown!

We've been bringing our dog, Osi, to Puptown for over a year. We were excited to learn that they passed their recent inspection by the Maine Animal Welfare Program with flying colors! The thing is, Osi knows. She's well cared for at Puptown, and seems to be aware of the days she's going. She won't walk in the morning on those days - she'll stop at the car, and wait until we let her get in for the ride to Puptown. Tyler and his staff all have a genuine love for dogs and for the work they do. We cannot recommend Puptown Funk highly enough.

My dog is skittish and had never had a trim at three years almost because she used to have acerage. Now an apt dog, I went here and she is so professional and fast. No trauma, no cut quicks. In and out in 6 minutes. 10 stars to her

We have two GSD mix rescues who hate to get nail trims. One of the big pet stores in Augusta asked us not to return (dogs are NOT aggressive, just struggle). Vet couldn’t do it either - said they need sedation. I heard that Lisa was wonderful and wow- yes! Her husband soothed and cuddled while she clipped. We now have healthy paws. I am beyond happy. Recommend highly for their professionalism and compassion

I have taken my dog and my daughter's dog to Happy Tails for several years. Lisa shows her love for grooming dogs and her prices are beyond reasonable. I want excellent service and I get it.

My Wife took our Little Chihuahua to Happy Tails My Wife stayed with her while she was Groomed, Lisa did such a awesome Job my wife said and when when Emma Lou came home She looked Amazing... and Smelled amazing Highly recommend this service.

Kim has cared for our dogs for well over 10 years and she is the best. Before discovering Kim's K9 I tried several others and nobody cares for my dogs like her. The inside was recently remodeled and looks great. Thank you Kim for being there for us.

We have taken 3 dogs over the past 10 to 15 years to Kim's Canine. They have stayed anywhere from just one night to 9 nights. All of our dogs have looked forward to going to see Kim. My first pugs would yelp with joy when we would mention where we were taking them. When we dropped them off, they never looked back when we left. It's such a great feeling to know my dogs are well taken care of and they enjoy being at Kim's.

my dogs are always well cared for, and I love the safe, fenced in yard that they go out in, along with the "bedroom" they have inside. And then they get special time in the "living room" with TV and toys. I never worry that they can dig out under a fence, or are unsupervised. Individual needs have always been met. My dogs recognize where they are when they are dropped off and go happily inside with Kim which tells me they are happy to stay there!

My extended family and I have been boarding our dogs here for around 10 years. It is so nice to drop your dog off somewhere and know that they are well loved and cared for 😊. I have nothing but great things to say about this business. The price has never increased and the owner has always managed to make room for my pup - even at the last minute. I would highly recommend Kim’s canine retreat.

This place is amazing! Each dog has their own room and she makes sure the bigger dogs get the bigger rooms. There’s plenty of space for them to move around. There a doggy living room with couches and toys and even a tv for the pups. Cameras to watch the pups if she isn’t by there side. She allows each of the dogs outside time multiple times a day in a huge fenced in area and will even have multiple dogs out at the same time to play with each other. The owner is amazing and treats every dog like they are her own. If your pup has a hard time without you, she makes sure you are informed and gives that pup extra time out and extra love! I love this place and I would never take my fur baby anywhere else.

This is the only place to leave your dog's. Where else would they be given a room each (dog sized)? Where else are they encouraged to socialize with like minded, similar sized dogs, in front of a fire place and t.v. with a sofa? Your best friend becomes the best friend of Kim and her staff. Why would you let yours be placed in cages?

Kim takes great care of the Dogs that she boards. I won't leave my Golden Doodle with just anyone and she is one of those people!

Our dog loved it there! A wonderful house, so cozy! I can only recommend this place!
