We enrolled in Meghann’s FUN-damentals course for our 8-year-old greyhound (Data), who was rehomed to us due to resource guarding and dog reactivity. Although we had been working with a behaviourist, we realized training would help him trust us and his environment more. Initially, I was skeptical since I had only ever done traditional obedience classes, but Meghann’s game-based approach quickly won me over. The games were engaging for us and our dog, and Meghann helped further tailor them to address our specific challenges. Meghann ensured safety while gently pushing boundaries, and the combination of online materials, Q&A evenings, and in-person sessions gave us plenty of feedback and tools to succeed. We began with private in-person sessions due to his reactivity, but by the end of the course, Meghann arranged a tailored class with another dog to test his focus. Since completing the course, we’ve seen significant improvements in his reactivity during walks and his ability to focus and self-calm. The transformation has been remarkable, and we’re so grateful for Meghann’s expertise and support.

We highly recommend Meghann and her dog training program. Her lessons allow you to progress through the program at your own pace, which we really appreciate. We have two active kids and would not have been able to participate in a program that required weekly regular meeting times. We also appreciate that Meghann covered a lot of the psychology behind the lessons. We have attended many other dog training programs (with our previous pet) which used different tactics, but hearing Meghann explain the psychology, helped us understand why the some of training tactics we were using from other programs were not working with our puppy. Meghann is very patient and shows a lot of individualized attention. She works with you on the specific challenges you are facing with your pet rather than simply providing a one size fits all program. We got out puppy during COVID and he has a lot of fear of strangers. When we started, Meghann arranged one on one meetings and fed our dog treats from a great distance just to get our puppy to approach her. As the program progressed, and over the course of many group and individual meetings, our puppy now can attend meetings with people he has never met and even let them pet him. We are quite happy with the confidence our dog has developed through the program. We will definitely take future pets to Meghann and would recommend her to anyone.

I signed up for the puppy course shortly after getting an adorable 8-week-old standard Schnauzer and I'm glad I did! Our puppy proved to be quite a handful and these classes helped my family deal with behavioural issues as they appeared. The program was an ideal mixture of online lessons, weekly Zoom calls and in-person classes. The Zoom sessions were a real bonus. Each week, I had an opportunity to ask questions and hear about issues brought up by other participants. Meghan's solid advice for dealing with these issues was incredibly helpful and reassuring. She is truly a wealth of knowledge. My dog is now almost six months old. She's feisty by nature, but thanks to Meghan's course and guidance, she is quickly becoming a well behaved dog who is a terrific addition to our household. I look forward to my next course with Healing Heeling Paws.

If i could give more than 5 stars for Paws on Hubbard I would!!!!! Meghann's knowledge, passion, patience and enthusiasm is addictive! My husband and I brought our cockapoo Sadie to Meghann when we first got her and it was the best thing we ever did!!! Let's just say she is now known as Aunt Meghann to Sadie and she gets soooo excited when she gets to go see her! I recommend all the training she has and also daycare was awesome too!!! I can't say enough amazing things and cannot explain how much we learn at every visit! It is a great dog family with everyone who goes there! Everyone is so welcoming and accepting! When my husband and I got our puppy, Evie we knew we wanted to give her quality training but didn’t know where to start. Upon learning about Healing Heeling Paws online we reached out to Meghann and she responded right away! We signed up for the Baby Puppy class and between the invaluable online resources along with the training videos, weekly Zoom Q&A’s, and the in-person sessions our Evie was set up for success! Meghann is always available for any questions and the advice she has given us really helped us navigate the early puppy stages. Evie was house trained within weeks and has learned to listen and focus on us when we need her to. We don’t believe any of this could have been possible without the help of Meghann and Healing Heeling Paws! I also want to point out that the in-person group sessions have been amazing. It’s been a great way for Evie to meet other puppies within a controlled environment. I intend to continue Evie’s training with Healing Heeling Paws as there is a more advanced class called FUNdamentals! I couldn’t recommend Meghann enough and encourage anyone looking for a dog trainer to reach out to her.

Meghann and Al took excellent care of our little bouncing boy Gus. We enrolled in two of their training programs which were both incredibly user friendly and helpful. The online resources offered were above and beyond other dog training services we have used in the past. They are heavily invested in caring for and training dogs and I hold them in very high regard. I give them my best possible recommendation for dog training services.

When I got my dog Buddy (6 month-old black lab), I was not prepared at all for what was in stake there for me. And boy was it ever- challenging. To have Meghann as a trainer for my dog, was the fastest and best decision I have ever made. She has helped me tremendously. Meghann is an excellent dog trainer. She is very knowledgeable and has answers for any questions or concerns. Her energy and enthusiasm working with dogs don’t have limits. Classes take place in person and online through a zoom session with another participant. Both of the classes are superbly organised. I can't say enough good things about Meghann. She essentially saved my life with my very active, very mischievous Standard Poodle, Ralphie. My dog and I have made great strides together over time and continue to improve. I can't recommend her enough and am very grateful for her help.

I would 100% recommend this program to anyone looking for guidance in dog training! I joined FUNdamentals because I was struggling to understand my dog and how to help him through his anxiety and fears. He often turned to aggression which was hard to manage when I had guests or went to visit family. Meghann has been such a huge help in helping me understand him. The program is set up so nicely and it is very easy to use. You play games with your dog that help build confidence and trust and you can go at your own pace, whenever you have the time. Once a week there is a zoom you can join to ask any questions you might have and another day you can go in to see Meghann in person with your dog and get first hand knowledge on what you are doing right and wrong. Meghann has not only helped my dogs stress and anxiety but she has also helped mine. I do not feel so helpless with my dog anymore. My dog has made huge improvement already and although we still have a way to go, I am confident that with the help from the FUNdamentals programme that my dog will be able to live a much happier life!

My family and I have benefitted significantly from the training we and our puppy received from Paws on Hubbard! Meghann is extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about her work. She offers clear direction and has a solution to almost every challenge. If she doesn’t, she works with you until a solution is found. The in-person sessions were invaluable. It’s amazing to see how the little guy responds when given the proper input. And the on-line material is fantastic; you progress at your own speed and revisit as often as you like. Our experience with FUNdamentals has been incredible, thanks largely to the guidance of Meghann. We’ve been using these games to help build our dog’s confidence, and the results have been fantastic! Not only has our dog become more self-assured, but the training also gave us valuable insight into his behaviours. We now have a much better understanding of his needs and how to respond to different situations. Lastly, these games really strengthened our bond and made training much more enjoyable for both him and us as owners! We recommend you see for yourself!

We were very nervous about raising a puppy, as all of our dogs until Atticus were adult rescue dogs. Paws on Hubbard and Meghann have made the experience of raising a puppy an absolute joy. We are in the midst of taking the Puppy class and the detailed information, the step-by-step videos, the weekly COVID-necessary online group meetings, and Meghann's willingness to meet with us individually has ensured that we have a happy, loving, engaging puppy with happy pet parents. Meghann's extensive knowledge about puppies and adult dogs is nothing short of a exceptional. Every question we ask, no matter how trivial, has been answered directly, thoroughly and respectfully. Everything from puppy physical, emotional and neural development, how long it will take to potty train, what is the best method of getting your dog's attention when listening to you is the last thing on their mind, what people food should (and more importantly) should not be given to puppies. Meghann is a walking Dog Encyclopedia. Another reason we love Paws on Hubbard is Meghann's commitment to only selling high quality Canadian made food and treats for puppies and adult dogs. We are confident that our Atticus is getting quality treats that will both aid with training and ensure he is a healthy and happy puppy. We plan on continuing with Paws and Meghann as Atticus continues to grow, as Meghann has a large and well-equipped facility for more advanced dog training. We are excited to, post-COVID, get inside with Meghann and learn best practices with our boy. Most importantly, we have learned that good trainers need to be patient and engaged not only with the puppy, but even more so with the puppy parents. Meghann is patient and engaged with all of us and I can say that all of us are very excited when we take a tip to Paws on Hubbard! We can't recommend Paws on Hubbard and Meghann strongly enough!!!!

Super happy with the service at the Paw Parlour! We brought our two dogs, our Golden Retriever who has never been to the groomer but is great with people, and our German Shepherd who is reactive to other dogs and new people. Our Shepherd is a super sweet boy but we have such a hard time finding places that will give him a chance because he barks (even the vet wouldn’t trim his nails) but this place was amazing. they were very accommodating and helped us book an appointment at a time where it would be just the two of them in there. they also were so friendly and did not have any issues with our reactive dog they made him feel so comfortable and happy and he was able to get a full groom and cut nails. they did a great job with both dogs and we will definitely be back.

I have 4 dogs that I took to this brand new grooming parlour. Loved it! It’s very clean and modern and the two young ladies that own it are wonderful. The pricing is really good too! A lovely pet grooming salon, very clean. I took both my cat and dog there recently, they looked and smelled wonderful after there treatments. Staff are very friendly, professional and really care for your pets like they were their own. A great experience. I highly recommend this salon!

Krista is the best cat groomer I've found, in 9 years. She definitely has a way with animals as my Chevy boy was very good throughout the whole thing. Very reasonable prices too! I can't wait to return in September!

Hands down the best groomer! My pet dog looks gorgeous! The groomer really made my golden doodles poodle feature stand out! There was ear wax build up which again they kindly drew my attention and explained it. This is the 3rd groomer I have tried in Fredericton and I am sticking with it! Thank you ♥️

Krista has been grooming my dogs for their entire lives, 8 and 3 years. I have followed her throughout her career and I am so happy for her and her business partner Karrie on the opening of The Paw Parlour. This is the nicest pet salon in Fredericton. Krista and Karrie have literally thought of everything, making our babies care and comfort their number one priority. I highly recommend this salon and it’s groomers, they’re top notch!
