Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

Florence and Robert were outstanding sitters. We asked them to arrive a day early as our guests to learn the routine on our farm. In getting to know them we found them to be good hearted, down to earth people with a love of animals and diligent in learning our routines to care for our poultry, cats and dog as well as our garden and orchard. Not a typical or easy sit. We travelled with ease knowing our critters were being well taken care of. Arriving home, the house was very clean and looked well cared for. The animals were healthy as were the garden and orchard. Out pets missed them when they left – our dog stared down the driveway after them until their car was out of sight. It is nice to find sitters we would like to hang out with and we look forward to having them sit for us again.

Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. I would definitely recommend Brian.

Summer was a very top-quality pet sitter and house sitter. She not only took excellent care of all four pets (three cats and a dog) but even achieved a very close bond with one of the cats. She went over and above the call of duty with our dog, who developed a serious skin condition while we were gone. We're so grateful that Summer was able to identify there was a problem, took the dog to the vet several times, and ended up having to apply topical medication and give pills and even keep the dog dressed in a t-shirt, which she did flawlessly. She communicated with us frequently, sending photos and updates, and the house was spotless when we returned, even cleaner than when we had left. She did an amazing job, knew how to handle any situation, always had a very upbeat and positive attitude, and we really enjoyed getting to know her right before we left and right after we returned. We would very very highly recommend Summer in all respects!

Catherine was a wonderful sitter for our 17 year old cat Zabba. She sent us pictures twice a day and kept us informed about Zabba’s daily activities. We came home to a clean home and would definitely recommend her as a pet/ house sitter. My only concern was that she doesn’t drive and with an older cat, I just prayed that Zabba didn’t need to go to the vet…. And he didn’t 🥰. We will ask her again for sure.

Caroline is an amazing sitter ! We were far away, had never left our cat for such a long period of time and we felt really confident with her. She took great care of our cat Honey as well as she did for the house, pool and garden. She was even able to handle the end of the refection of the bathroom which was a last minute surprise… We felt Caroline was reliable and self sufficient. We had a great communication with her during our stay abroad. We even found many nice intentions when we came back from our vacations such as fresh fruits and bakeries for a nice and welcomed breakfast after a night in a plane ! We definitely recommend Caroline for your sittings and we will obviously call her back !

If Cung ever applies to your post for a house or pet sit, I strongly encourage you to jump at the offer. You will not be disappointed. Cung is among the top (if not the top) sitter I’ve ever had and I’ve been on this site for years. Primarily, Cung is very organized. In the weeks and days leading up to the sit, Cung kept me abreast of his plans and status. I felt very comfortable in the days leading up to the sit because I knew the plan we made to exchange the keys and walk him through the instructions would work as planned. Second, Cung really cares. When he got to my apartment after what I assume was a long day of traveling, I explained the care instructions and he was very attentive and cared about the details - asking very specific questions on how to care for my cat and apartment. I had some pretty specific rules about how to feed my cat and take care of him and Cung followed those exactly. Third, Cung makes you feel comfortable while you are away. I got daily or twice daily updates about my cat. I got pictures which made me feel like my cat was having a good time. My cat came out within an hour of me being away - very fast for my cat as he is shy. Cung must have a calming energy towards animals. Cung was also very responsive when I reached out first - replying within 5 minutes. I really appreciated that. My cat threw up at one point and Cung answered all of my questions to assess whether my cat was sick or had just eaten too fast. Fourth, Cung will take good care of your apartment/house. I came back to a SPOTLESS apartment. The sheets were washed and folded on my bed. The towels were washed. The apartment had been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The dishwasher had been run. Everything was in its place when I returned. Honestly, cleaner than when I left it which is difficult since I am a very clean person. Cung also respects your property. I have an extensive computer setup that he used for work and he was very respectful of that equipment. He asked if he could use it beforehand, which was incredibly polite since he could have used it and I wouldn’t have known. In sum. You need to jump at the opportunity if Cung offers to sit for you. I came home to a very happy cat. Hope he will sit for me again sometime!

Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. She gave thoughtful updates on my cat and I could tell she really enjoyed her, so that means the world to me! She left the place immaculate and we will certainly have Tonya back!

I was really worried about leaving my dogs at a kennel, I hadn't went on holiday for years as I worried about them so much. they are inside dogs and we love them like our kids. I dropped them off for initially 4 days, but after the videos and texts and daily reassurance I got from John I left them the extra 2 days instead I getting the home sitter. they had fun, I have videos of them playing and running around. I had texts to assure me scarlet had her daily medications and they ate all their dinner. I couldn't recommend this place enough they were fantastic and my babies came home today happy out! Such a relief to be able to go away and not worry about them, they are walked every , the go into runs out in the big fields a few times a day too, they got treats every day and lots of love. Really couldn't recommend them enough

My 3 Cats are very well looked after when they stay in Rathealy. Their coats are always so shiny when they come home. I wouldn't have anyone else look after my cats. I've been a customer for years and will be for many more. They're picked up and brought back home with care. It's a great service.

We have been going to Yvonne's for the last 8 years with both our fur babies. We could not ask for better care. Yvonne even sends us videos and updates on how they are getting on. They get plenty of exercise and attention and love. If the doggies have any health issues Yvonne looks after them and makes sure they get extra attention/ care. I trust noone else with minding our babies. Would absolutely recommend Happy Paws Hotel
We gave Yvonne a real challenge with our rescue Saluki. He was really nervous around humans but loves dogs. Within less than an hour Yvonne was petting him and totally understood his needs. We left Matthew for 2 weeks and the change in his confidence was amazing. We got regular videos of him and were amazed at the great time he had. We had trouble getting him to go into Happy Paws but nearly had more trouble getting him to come home with us!! I would leave him there again in a heartbeat and I'm very grateful to Yvonne for the all the effort she put into him. He will miss Happy Paws and all the new friends he made there.
First time leaving our golden retriever puppy with someone else. Absolutely fabulous facilities for all the dogs. We were given a wonderful tour around to show us where our puppy would play and sleep. Couldn’t recommend enough, we knew our puppy was in great hands as Yvonne has a wonderful knowledge of all dogs and their varying needs. The videos of him playing and having fun with all the other dogs was the cherry on top of a wonderful experience. Thanks so much we will definitely be back again.
Happy Paws is absolutely the best. Excellent 5 star treatment. Very caring and outdoor activities making for very happy dogs. Home from home for your dog. Highly recommend, Yvonne is a star. Our Golden Retriever absolutely loves it every time he visits and comes home exhausted from all the fun and interactions with other dogs.
1st time using Happy Paws and 1st time actually using a dog kennel for my 2 dogs so was a bit nervous about it as Bruce is older and has never been away from home but to my surprise and delight both Bruce and Spike loved their little holiday at Happy Paws and are booked in again for Easter. Yvonne has a fantastic set up for dogs and it's nice to be able to get away and know your dogs are well looked after.
Hands down the absolute best. I drop "the girls" off and they're delighted to be there. I hardly think of them while I'm away as I know they're as happy there as they are at home. Can't recommend the Happy Paws Hotel enough.

Could not recommend Happy Paws Hotel higher. My 12 year old dog was very shy and nervous around other dogs and I was worried how she would get on I needn't have worried. Yvonne and her team are fantastic. Molly was treated as one of the family. Molly really loved it. Thanks Yvonne for all your patience and love for Molly x
My dogs, from young to seniors, have been regular guests of Happy Paws Hotel for many years. They are always cared for so well, in the best facilities. Yvonne and her team do an amazing job looking after our dogs and especially those who have special needs. Definitely a five star doggie hotel!
We've been leaving our "furry babies" as my wife calls them with Yvonne for years. Our last dog, Chewie, and her sister Alfie were, shall we say, high dependency. Not a bother for Happy Paws. Our current bundle of furry joy, Bettie, loves it there too. We've also taken advice from Yvonne about trainers and groomers, all excellent, and we buy our dog food off her. Overall, couldn't recommend highly enough.

Highly recommend Jenkinstown Boarding Kennels. The lovely owners Julianne and Pat O’Connor treated my Alfie as if he was their own when he stayed for a few nights last August . They are incredibly kind and warm people. The kennels are spotless and they have lots of land for the dogs to go exploring on their walks. Thank you both again for taking such good care of Alfie.
I do not recommend that kennel, our dog got sick twice on both of his legs, probably trying to get more outside but he could not. Imagine that ,when we came to collect our dog after two weeks he did not came to say hello just went for a pee , which took him more than two minutes. We also left a blanket for him and we got back the blanket when we got the dog back just from the back of the owner van, as like our dog receive the given blanket. We do not recommend that place :(
This kennel is a bit of a drive for me but it is so worth it. Misty just loved it there, she normally comes back from kennels unable to bark :( but not this time. Having the space outside for the dogs to enjoy makes all the difference I think. They are so exhausted and stimulated from all the adventure they dont have time to miss you. Will be using again thanks very much to Pat for the great service.

We love sending our 4 girls to Coco’s Kennels.❤️ Jenny and David always look after them so well, they’re the only ones we trust to look after our fur babies when we are on holiday. The kennels are so clean and cosy, they feel just like they’re home. They cater to dogs taking medication and they have an amazing doggie play area where dogs are separated according to size so our small dogs don’t get overwhelmed by the big dogs.🐶 Couldn’t recommend enough!❤️
Polly and Piper just came back from 8 nights in the fabulous Coco's Kennels. We received regular updates from Jenny. The dogs were happy out running around and playing with the other dogs. They came home happy and relaxed. One of our dogs is extremely nervous but Jenny went above and beyond and was fantastic and patient with her. It gave us great piece of mind seeing such a nervous dog so happy whilst away from home. I would highly recommend Coco's Kennels to all dog lovers. It's a real home away from home for your beloved pooch. The care and service that Jenny and David provide is second to none.

We couldn't have enjoyed our holiday without knowing our dog Bella was in safe hands and well looked after. She went in as a really nervous dog around other dogs and came home much calmer and more happy to be around other dogs. We had daily updates and seeing her in the videos made our holiday much more enjoyable knowing she was happy and in safe hands. Harley just went home today and he was so happy and really enjoyed his stay in Coco’s Kennel! When the car was leaving the kennel, he was still looking back as if he doesn’t want to leave yet his gangmates behind! Thank you Jenny and David for taking good care of our baby! Such a wonderful experience for Harley and he even knows how to take turns now in the pool! I simply cannot say enough about Jenny and David they minded our dogs like their very own while we were away on holidays - my Homer is spoilt rotten and he hates us going away he gets separation anxiety. Although I must admit so do I when I’m away from him. But Jenny gave us daily updates videos and photos - Homer has to go to the vet because he had a sore ear and not once did jenny make us feel nervous about it - she rang us and told us she was bringing him to the vet to get him antibiotics - we never felt so at ease - they are so professional and caring cannot recommend this lovely couple enough - only the best for our hairy babies thank you so much David and jenny xxx

Really impressed with Coco Kennells. My dog Murphy recently stayed there and I knew he was well taken care of by Jenny and David. They just have a natural way with the dogs and are so kind and caring. Love the space the dogs have aswell, I would recommend these kennells as it's ideal for ure pet.

They also have pet sitting services to take care of them during your holidays which is far better than kennels and many pet sitters who host multiple pets in the same house. I would highly recommend Pet Sitters Ireland to anyone looking for Pet Care. You can enjoy your holiday knowing your pets are happy and well looked after in their own home, i much prefer this option over boarding kennels. We have used Pet Sitters for a number of years, they give fantastic care and attention to our 2 cats and 2 dogs. Mike goes above and beyond to make sure they are cared for. And this year Aine did a great job looking after them all. My two girls love the photo updates received daily and get very excited to see how their pets are getting on while we are away.
I used Pet Sitters Ireland for the first time last weekend and I can not recommend them enough. Firstly great communication from Mike regarding the arrangements for the pet sitters visit. I was away for 5 days and the pet sitter who minded my dog was amazing and it was very clear she has a great love of all animals which really put my mind at ease. We utilized the pet sitting services of Pet Sitters of Ireland for over a year when in Dublin and were extremely satisfied with the care and compassion they showed to our 13 year old Ziggy. Mike the owner, took the time to explain their services and instill a sense of trust with his company. He also called several times when we had to switch from our regular sitter and insured that we would be happy with the new sitter. When we did use the services, we got nothing but compliments from others that had seen a Pet sitters employee with our Ziggy and the care that they were showing him. That is such a good feeling to know you are leaving your family member with someone who truly cares about your pet. We used Pet Sitters for our wedding and can’t recommend them highly enough. Mike was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Communication was great at all times in the lead up to the wedding day and on the day itself. We were very reassured our dog would be in good hands and this certainly transpired. Mike was fantastic on the wedding day itself. He met our dog early in the morning before transporting him to the venue, where he was looked after him before returning him to our regular dog minder. It was so great having our dog as part of our wedding ceremony and we are so thankful to Mike and Pet Sitters for facilitating this.
Pet Sitters Ireland have been looking after our two cats Lilly and Pixie for the last six years and we are very happy with their services. Maisie 🐶 is a very regular visitor to Oaklands for overnights and daycare and she couldn’t be happier here. Ber just loves dogs and always gives Maisie a great welcome. She gets loads of exercise, walks in the forest behind them and runs in the fields. She always comes home exhausted ….and very very happy. Maisie loves playing with Ber’s own little pooches and they are great friends. Overall it’s a home away from home for her 🐾😍🐶
Our gorgeous dog, Theo, has been going to Oakland Boarding Kennels for over a year now. He absolutely loves it. While there he is so loved, so well cared for and is very much part of the family. The owner makes every dog feel welcome. I've never known anyone to care and love dogs the way she does. She takes them for walks in the fields and the woods, she plays with them and gives them all her attention. The facilities at Oakland Boarding Kennels are second to none. Everywhere is clean, dry, safe and secure. Each dog has their own space, and they also have the use of a large run. I can't recommend Oakland Boarding Kennels highly enough.
Our boy Kobe has been staying with Ber at Oaklands for the past few years and we couldn't be happier with the care he gets there. There is loads of room for long walks and playing around. Kobe loves it there, it's home away from home for him. I would highly recommend and have already to many friends.
Wood fired stove and a walk in the forest ..what more could my dog ask for . ? Exceptional care and attention was given to my dog on its annual visit to Oakland's kennels . These kennels are heated with a wood fired stove for extra cosiness. The owner Ber is a master at minding dogs and this shows in her attention to detail. I would highly recommend her kennels to anyone.
Our two dogs , a setter end a retriever, love their time in Oaklands. Ber is so kind and welcoming to them and they really love the forest walks. I have full confidence in the care provided in this fabulous country home The kennels are always pristine and the dogs just run to Ber , with tails wagging ,when they arrive. FIVE STAR! We have no worries at all leaving our retriever, Roxie, at Oaklands Kennels. She loves staying there. Ber looks after her so well taking her out around the fields getting lots of exercise. She has her own warm, clean stall to rest in. All the dogs are extremely well looked after. Ber is exceptional in her kindness providing them with a home from home.
When I’m away my little yorkie Ted stays in Oakland Kennels in the excellent care of Ber. Ber has a great connection with dogs & my little fella feels the warmth & kindness she generates. He is brought on lovely walks through the woods & Ber sends me videos & photos & that gives me great peace of mind because I see how happy he is. Thumbs up for Ber
I left my two dogs to Ber. They got brought on so many walks in the gorgeous woods. They didn’t want to come home. Highly recommend in such a relaxed country environment!!

My dog seemed happy after his stay there. That's usually a good indicator. He can be very mopey if he doesn't like a place. Nice part of the country too.

Always exceptional care here. Our Puppy regularly attends daycare which gives us the peace of mind that she’s being well looked after when we can’t be at home with her. Excellent also for Grooming & Sleepovers.

Outdoor play and games all the time , bubbles ect These three love it , grooming service training classes and sleepovers also available no need to go elsewhere , the dogs love all the staff , who are all dog people , and Lyndsy the owner is all about the care of our dogs
Our Puppy Geoff went in his first sleepover this wk after going in for his first daycare last wk. I couldn’t but recommend Inn the dodhouse the care the dogs get and the enthusiasm of the staff is second to none.
5 star experience for Inn The Doghouse if you are looking for day care, overnight boarding in their 5 star dog hotel or grooming, they have the complete package. Puppy classes and obedience classes are also conducted by the owner Lyndsey. The staff is very clear to see love looking after all the dogs in their care and I wouldn’t go anywhere else with my 2 fur babies. Can’t recommend enough. They also added on a cat hotel for boarding with a separate entrance.

I got my very nervous dog "Duncan" groomed. The staff were kind and very loving and understanding to Duncan. He wasn't locked in a cage before or after the groom and was socialising with the other dogs there for their groom.he also acquired a new tie from the groomers
OK once your dog remains young and healthy - have been sending my dog here since it opened and now as he has been diagnosed with diabetes and needs medication they will no longer take him. Very disappointing after the business we have given them over the years and dog is used to this place and now will have to change. Thankfully no where else I have rang has a problem with the medication so maybe training or staff experience not as good here or else they just want min hassle for the money. Bare this in mind before u get ur dog used to here as if they have an extra need down the line they won't be accommodating.
Our young puppy has been extremely well looked after by Inn the Doghouse. Even on her tired and sleepy mornings she gets excited and eager at drop off. Staff are friendly and give good feedback on how your dog is getting on.

We have boarded our 2 cocker spaniels girls several times now here and it is obvious when we collect them that they are happy and have been well looked after and loved on. We previously used a different kennel for many years but after a couple of bad experiences I researched into a new one and found Beech Lodge, and wish I knew better and had done so sooner!

I would highly recommend Beech Lodge Boarding kennels. Rang up on a Friday afternoon on very short notice in the hope to find a suitable place for a 2 night stay. Dermot was so nice and obliging taking our 10 month old pup in for the weekend. We were very comfortable leaving Dave with Dermot and his family and received daily updates with photos and videos. Our cocker spaniel Nellie went on holiday here last week. Nellie had never been in a kennels before but got on great. We loved that she got to run and play all day before going into the kennels at night for bed. We could tell after her weeks holidays that she was so well cared for and relaxed. Will definitely bring Nellie back because she loved it so much!
I cannot recommend Beech Lodge highly enough. Our 16year old Springer Frieda had no problems and she was in great form when we picked her up after a 3 day stay over. It is obvious that the dogs are well looked after here and we have Frieda booked in for another stay soon. Plenty of space for the dogs to run, play and socialise.

Very happy with Heather's Top Dog Boarding - we left our dogs with Maura, who had a gentle touch with us and with them, and they were in grand form on collection. A good set up too. Can definitely recommend.
I have a young border collie that is very fearful and can become aggressive with strangers as a result. Because of this, I had never left her with anyone but the time had come when I absolutely needed to introduce her to a kennel ahead of a 2 week absence. Heather came highly recommended but I still was very unsure my dog would ever be able to settle with anyone. I tentatively rang Heather and described my dog's issues and her response was amazing! Heather genuinely welcomed the challenge of working with my nervous dog and have her ready for her stay. Heather's friendliness and unshakable "can do" attitude put me and my dog instantly at ease. The communication between us was so easy and I was relieved to have found a professional with the same positive gentle approach to dog training as me. Over a few weeks Heather helped my dog build a trusting relationship with her and her staff. She was not put off when my dog had her moments and in fact I was amazed at how quickly and easily my dog settled in the end. To me it is clear that Heather is gifted with a natural ability to connect with the dogs, read their behaviours and lead them. Her confidence in her ability to handle my dog gave me absolute peace of mind while I was away but I was blown away when she sent me a picture of her daughter hugging my dog a few days after I had gone! 😍 I am so glad to have found Heather as I couldn't have dreamt of a better outcome!

Always leave our two dogs with Heather, very friendly, professional and we know that the pets will receive the very best care. Prices are very reasonable and Heather is always helpful and flexible as regards dropping off/collection. Over the years I've used a number of kennels from time to time but Heather's is by far and away the best I have seen. We had to put our Fenrir with Heather for 2 weeks while I recuperated after leaving hospital. She was fantastic , our boy couldn't have been happier , so much stimulation and happiness.
Always leave our crew with heather, we’ve 2 St. Bernard’s and 2 golden retrievers, they need a bit of space and an experienced hand because they’re a lively bunch. They absolutely love going to heathers, it’s 100% a holiday for them and they always come home so happy
