Dropped off our pup for the weekend and her stay went so well. They gave us updates with photos and we can tell she really enjoyed her stay. Not only do they take such good care of the animals, but you can tell they really do spend time with them. Our pup isn't the best at playing fetch and they and noticed that along with her other silly behavior. First time bringing her and will definitely be back again, thank you!

Fantastic place to care for your furbaby’s needs. Ollie started daycare here this week. He LOVES it! Comes home and is lazy all evening. Brittney did an amazing job grooming him. He’s been to several groomers since I travel for work, and she seriously did a great job. I even got to see pictures of him while he was being groomed. I love that he was able to get groomed while attending daycare since I work during the week! The hours are nice, so I can run a few errands after work before picking him up. Ollie is excited to play at daycare again next week (:

So happy to have a place for my pups to stay at. We moved from San Diego and were worried about finding a place to board our dogs in the valley... we are grateful that Buddy Sweets has given us a peace of mind. They have been reliable, communicative and trustworthy. I've boarded both my dogs a couple of times at Buddy Sweets and they send me pictures during the day and respond quickly to any questions / requests. The registering process is a little time-intensive but I appreciate the depth of questions since it makes me think that they really care about having your dogs complete information in order to give them the best treatment possible. They are animal lovers and my pups seem to have a blast. 100% recommend this place!

The staff is absolutely amazing Brittney. The groomer is the best groomer. Ever he does my dog R. A. GZY and he is almost 14 years old and she has patience of gold. Is so patient with him and so loving. I wouldn't trust anybody but her to do my dog. And when he's when she's done with anthem, he smells so good and looks amazing. I have been a Buddy Sweats customer since 2019. The staff does a wonderful job taking care of my reserved dog Butda while we’re out of town. They provide messages and videos to check in on the pets which also made me feel more comfortable leaving my dog in the warm and caring facility. Buddy Sweets is definitely my to-go place and I genuinely recommend them to all for boarding. Congrats to the facility moving and upgrading to a larger area, even through this hectic pandemic they have strived to maximize with pet care in mind. I came back to this place after two years. I took my 4 dogs thinking it was a good place for them to stay. I let the people know that my dogs were very active because my dogs are under 2 years old. Buddy sweets received my dogs and I called and text everyday to make sure my dogs were ok.Buddy sweets said thta my dogs were fine. One morning I received a text from them with a picture of my dog with a whole on the under construction counter. Buddy sweets charged me without permission for damages. It is not my fault . my dogs were under their care at the time. Why do I need to pay for damages??? I am very dissapointed of Buddy Sweets for taking the time to charge my card without permission. I am sorry but the facility still under construction .. Not ready for dogs

I took my dog to Salcidos and the staff when I went to pick her up the staff was rude and said “this all I could do for her” and my dog wasn’t her self and was scared for 2 days.

Friendly staff and exceptional service! Our pup was super relaxed there and that's saying a lot because we're traveling full time and she gets to meet a lot of different groomers. These people met and exceeded our expectations. Oh, and her cut is super cute too.

Juno was overdue for grooming and after several weeks camping in the desert in Baja, Mexico, she was pretty scruffy, dirty, and matted. Salcido's fit her in for a full grooming and did a thorough job, advising from the outset that they'd probably have to trim her down quite a bit. Still managed not to completely shave her and she looks good and will be a lot cooler in the heat now. Nice people and Juno was treated kindly.

My furbabies love coming here, I like that they are accommodating to our needs and my babies always come back looking their best. Alex is so attentive to them and very customer oriented. Definitely recommend it

My dogs looked amazing after being cleaned here. I have two husky boys. One had horrible knots from rolling in the dirt with his brother. But they managed to untangle his tail. And the price was right.

I wanted to really write a thorough review on this business regarding my recent visit. First, I’d like to say that this isn’t the first time my dog has been groomed at salcido’s. My mother took care of my dog for a period of time while I was away in school, so she chose where to get my dog groomed. Up until a little under a year ago, I’ve had my dog with me all of the time and she has a particular groomer and grooming service that I love in the Bay Area of California. However, I’m staying in the area for a few weeks and my dog needed to be groomed. Onto my experience, I took my dog in at 10 AM on the dot day of appt. One issue is the fact that I did not receive word of my dog until 2:15 PM. It took almost four and a half hours to finish grooming my dog. The business should allocate time properly and be done with grooming in a timely manner. I am used to 2 hours more or less and 4+ hours is excessive given that my dog did not have any issues with her fur and is a calm and easy-going dog. She also had irritated eyes as they were and still are after several hours, extremely red and her demeanor was down and different than how she usually is. Second, due to Covid there is a sign saying no one will be serviced or allowed into the building without proper ppe such as a mask. Yet, I physically saw a woman get out of her car without a mask, go into the building without a mask and she was able to retrieve her dog and was not turned away. This is not only not following regulations that are being enforced in California right now, but it also puts at risk other customers, employees and the animals being groomed. Third, I’ve been to a lot of grooming businesses due to owning multiple poodles, Maltese mixes, and other furry fur babies and at salcido’s all you hear are dogs crying non-stop. It’s normal for dogs to whine as they are uncomfortable at times being groomed, but this was excessive and made me worry for my dog’s well being and safety. To add on to that, I walked in while a dog was crying and the groomer or whoever was attending the dog was speaking roughly to the dog and it did not sound like a good interaction. Fourth, the employees do not act like or seem to be dog lovers. Usually employees who work with animals are loving and gentle with pets, but these employees are not and that should open the window to how they may treat your pets when you take them. One last thing is that it smells bad inside the business. At drop off, it did not smell like urine and feces, but at pick up it did and it was very strong which does not ease my feelings of how the dogs are waiting to be groomed and where they relieve themselves and if they are relieving out of fear. They also only accept cash, which is a bit inconvenient especially being 2020, but less of a serious issue. I expect the best for my pets and I know a lot of other people do as well so I wanted to share my personal experience and opinion. I will be taking my dog elsewhere.

This place is so welcoming and I really like taking my dog here. She comes out really nice and clean and smells soo good!! She has alot of hair and they know just how to treat her and cut her hair. I truly recommend this place.

Husband and I took our 2 newest rescues, a 10 month old great Dane/mastiff and an 9 month pit mix for training. They were super energetic and great escape artists.Mike knows what he is doing and teaches through positive reinforcement and teaches owners to act assertive and confident when with your dogs. Highly recommend his services.

Highly Recommended! We've taken several dogs through Mike's dog classes and he has also done petsitting for us. Not sure where the other reviewer got the false information about the 8 yr old minimum. That is not accurate. Give Mike a call.

Wayne and Cindy provide a wonderful five-star doggy day-care service. They are kind and understanding and the doggies (and humans!) feel it. I am a first-time owner to two shelter dogs and Cindy and Wayne have been a great resource to me for animal care. Critter Sitters is fantastic! I work full time, and ever since my dog was a puppy, Cindy has been caring for her. She picks up my dog Lily for a fun filled day while I am at work. Lily loves going there and looks forward to it every day. When I’m on vacation, I don’t have to worry because they also offer boarding. I highly recommend Critter Sitters. Your pet will be well cared for!

Cindy has been coming to our home to walk our two dogs off/on for a few years now and we love her - she is flexible, friendly, reliable, and most importantly our dogs love their time with Cindy. In addition, Cindy has taken our dogs on numerous occasions over to her place for doggy daycare- they get to run around and play with other dogs all day long and come back super happy and very tired. Cindy and her husband are the absolute best. When my husband and I were working a demanding call center job, they watched my cane corso Bentley, and also adjusted their hours to accommodate our schedules. They are the sweetest ever and will make sure you and your pups feel like family!

When looking for someone to drop in twice a day and feed the cat in our absence I asked for community referrals. Almost all the responses were recommendations for Cindy. Its been a few years now and she has done an awesome job with my elderly little spitter. I wish I had found her sooner, it would have saved me a lot of worry and stress over the years. she is truly an animal advocate and i highly recommend her.

Cindy is great! Pro with handling dogs and ensuring they get good exercises and fed on time. Easy to get in touch with and quick replies. Def rec if looking for someone. She handled my 2 big boy (1 80lbs malinois, husky mix and 70lbs oes) very well. Both came home happy.

Critter Sitters takes such good care and they are amazingly kind and communicative. We have referred many friend and neighbors. Our guy is always so happy to spend time with them. I consider it a day at a family member's house with lots of sweet, fun dogs to play with too.

We have used DogPamine twice to care for our fur baby and we couldn’t be more satisfied. We loved the daily assurance that he is well taken cared of with photos and videos we are sent daily. We will be using them again in the future.

Where could I start? Camila her husband and her mother-in-law are super friendly. I see that she treats my dog really well, because every time we arrive at her house, she gets super happy to see them and she never wants to leave. They are always aware of all the care of my girl (who is super allergic). Camila maintains 100% communication with you, which makes me feel that my girl is in a safe place and is happy with her doggy friends.Last weekend For the very first time I left her overnight and while I was almost crying, my dog arrived happily at Camila's house. During those days Camila followed my instructions on how my girl should eat, etc. She was happy when we went to pick her up, but trust me, Oreo always leaves her daycare happy and the best thing is that she comes home very tired and ready to sleep after a day full of happiness at her daycare 😊 Thanks Camila, we really trust you with our baby and we appreciate your hard work:)

Cammy, Sal, & the team are AMAZING!!! We drop our pup off often for overnight stays, anywhere from 1 night to 10+ nights, and they are great with communication & updates about how things are going. They all take great care of our pup and make sure to give him lots of love! Most importantly, for us, they have always been accommodating & flexible. During the times our plans change at the last minute, we are quick to communicate, and have never had an issue with them keeping our pup longer, or dropping off earlier or picking up later. They truly are THE BEST and we could not be more thankful for their amazing love & care toward our pup. We have truly found a gem with DogPamine, and are so grateful for them!

I’ve been using this kennel for a year and a half now with outstanding results. My dogs always look great and healthy when I pick them up and the staff take every step to ensure diet, temp regulation in the heat, exercise time, and attention throughout the day is on point. Very easy to work with on drop off and pick times. Couldn’t be happier with their services and the personal touch.

I would give 20 stars if that Was an option. I can’t say enough about Colleen and Maroco Kennels. My German Shepherd Eckhoo Daisy. Loves it there. I have been bringing her there for about 4 years now and She loves it. Sometimes I feel like she likes it better there than at home 😁. I’ve dropped her off for as little as a weekend and as long as three months when I was ill. I would highly recommend Maroco Kennels If you’re looking for boarding for your Fur friends. You will be at ease knowing that they’re being well taken care of.

I would highly recommend Colleen at Maroco Kennels. I have been boarding my dog Shasta with her since moving to Yuma in 2013. I always know that Shasta will be well taken care of. The kennels are always clean. Colleen is very responsive to phone calls and text messages reassuring even the most worried pet parent.

Since the 80s, Maroco Kennel has been the answer to leaving my dogs under excellent care. Coleen is an expert trainer in obedience, hence my dogs come back to me with better manners frequently. They look forward to visiting their second “mom”. And I rest easy knowing where they are. I recommend Maroco without reservation!

We have trusted Coleen with our pups twice for 10 days at a time. She takes great care of them and we trust her completely. Kennels always clean and the pups are able be outside weather permitting. A great kennel and owner.

This was our first time ever boarding our beloved dog, and we were really nervous about it. Colleen made us feel very comfortable and helped us with every step of the process, even advising us how and where to get updated immunizations (since we are new to Yuma). Colleen deals with the animals in a really gentle but firm way I was very impressed with. The kennels are clean, spacious, and professional. Also, the price is more than fair. I really can not say enough good things about these kennels - we wouldn't have been able to take our vacation without Maroco Kennels - and will definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you!

The dogs are kept in a building with no windows and minimal lighting. I assume this is to keep them cool since there is no AC. As soon as we walked in I felt like it was a very depressing setting. We were told the dog would get yard time in his own space during the early morning and evening. The owner only said “he’s doing great” When I asked for an update. When we picked up our dog he had hardly eaten at all. I’m not sure if he was not fed or if he was so stressed out that he wouldn’t eat. (He’s been boarded other places and this has never been an issue anywhere else). Upon picking our dog up my husband witnessed the owner hit the dog on the head with his bowl. Overall I would never take my dog back there. It did not feel like it was a loving environment for him to be in. My dog has not been the same since. I have heard from other people that they have had the same experience, their dogs are not eating while there and they have seen her hit the dogs with the bowl.

We have had our dogs in a few kennels and when we leave our dogs with Collen at Maroco Kennels we rest easy because we know Colleen cares about our dogs. She is also a very knowledgeable trainer.

Our experience with Morocco kennel's left us with an uneasy feeling.We don't feel our dog was treated right,in a caring way,or received any attention.Her spirit has been injured.I read Brandy William's review,and it was our feelings as well in every way.Our dog has not been the same since.She was revenous when we picked her up.We left her there a week longer than we anticipated.She acted like she hadn't been fed the whole week.She was so starved for exercise she wouldn't stop running for a couple days.We wouldn't leave our puppy there again.

I highly recommend this place if you need a place to leave your dog , the owner was very nice and very understanding of my old rascoo needs, he’s an old dog 🐶, she was able to take him in with like 2 hrs notice over the holidays, she was a blessing to me and my dog 🐕, prices are very responsible.a lot do space for the dogs to run , very clean , my dog was happy to be there, I can tell he was by the way he was behaving when I picked him up , she was acting like he own the place :) Thank you so very much for taking care of my rascoo

Mini had her 1st boarding experience in her 13 years. She was treated like the princess she is with her own room, plenty of other small dogs to visit with the windowed roo off the lobby. She was groomed ($60) and a very happy girl when

Biggie loves The Grand Paw. He comes weekly for daycare and most recently was boarded for over 2 weeks. The staff know him by name and always greet him with excitement. He comes home exhausted from playing with his friends and always looks forward to returning. Thank you to all the staff for all you do.

Our Sasha loves it here and I feel comfortable sending her. They make sure every dog’s vaccines are up to date, even if coming in for grooming only. They also do a temperament test with the new dogs to test how they behave with others. We have been so happy with the level of detail and care.

Pandemic Up Date-The Grand Paw is doing a pretty good job as they work through the issues associated with the COVID Pandemic. They now pick up you dog from the car, you do not go inside at all. They bring your pet out to you in the evening, so it is more-or-less touchless. They also have both masks and sanitizer out in the parking area so that you can sanitize if you like. Good job. But I miss the little shop and talking to the folks while waiting for our dog, Bailey to drag out the poor lad that has to tear him away from his play date. This is the doggy daycare and boarding place in the East Coachella Valley. It has nice facilities and reasonably good hours. They are not real flexible on times and policies. Not a deal as far as pricing goes but seem to take reasonable care of the pets. They have a little pet gift shop, mostly dog oriented full of overpriced things you can’t live without. The grooming function is not the best or least expensive. Ask about purchasing multiple use packages. Tuesday and Thursday they have pool time for Fido if your dog is so inclined. Separate small and large dog areas. They charge $25 bucks to qualify your dog’s behavior before you can bring him. Have all your shot information ready.

What a wonderful staff. I feel so comfortable and trust them to babysit my four legged family member. When leaving pets behind when circumstances require a helping hand - This is the place!

Our dog spent 5 days a this facility and he was bitten, wounds open when we picked him up. We were not told, until we contacted the facility, and replied with a typical template to respond to a complaint. Until today not a curtesy response. Disappointed, and furious, above all the rate charged, you will think your pet will be taken care of.

Brian, Ricky, and the rest of the staff are amazing. My wife and I have a 20 year relationship with this business and Brian and Ricky. We can’t say enough good things about the customer service and how they treat our pups. I wish I could give them 10 stars

Great Facility! We went in a week prior to our pup staying there for a tour and a temperament test, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. When we dropped our pup off for her stay she was excited to be there again. She was happy when we picked her up and quickly fell asleep when we got home. The grand paw is reasonably priced and I highly recommend! Thank you Grand paw for taking care of Cocoa!

I was so happy with The Grand Paw and so were my two kittys. They had a comfy room with plenty of time to play and lounge in. Also they posted pictures of my babies for me to see so I could know 5hey were doing well as I missed them. I will definitely board with them again when I need to in the future.

If you have large dogs this is THE place. Our dogs are bigger and they absolutely love it here. There is plenty of space for them to run around. Any staff we’ve ever encountered is always so friendly and seems to truly love being around dogs! It definitely seems like our dogs’ happy place. Our dogs have never been sick after a boarding and they always come home clean and EXHAUSTED! It is worth every penny. We also love just dropping them off for a play day. Swim days are also awesome. They have an in the ground pool and one of our dogs absolutely loves it!

I used to use them for boarding, and was happy that my dogs were happy. They never pick up the phone anymore or return calls. It's been two years trying to contact them. I thought they even closed down. I don't live in Yuma anymore but my dogs and mom are still at our Yuma property. I've started to bring them out here to Paradise Valley for boarding, which I'm worried about my dogs having to travel 3 hours. I tried calling again this year for Thanksgiving and New Year's. I'm incredibly livid.

We stopped in today to give our dog a meet and greet. The guy that answered the door was swearing and very hyper as he had just been bit. Our girl normally loves daycare but when. My wife took her in and did the paperwork they had taken her.by the time we got her back she was very scared and had to console her most of the day. Not recommended by us.

I will never take my pet here again. Does not look like any of the pictures online. I was told from the beginning by the young kid upfront that he was going to send me updates with pictures and to just text the number that’s posted upfront by the door. I did and it took them hours on end to respond and with pictures that looked like my dog was just in dirt!! I felt so uncomfortable that my dog was in there so I had to take him out early and leave my work event. I had given the two young guys upfront my feedback that I thought there would be updates (just like they said they were going to do) and instead of me even finishing my sentence I was interrupted and he said that’s not their job or responsibility lol all I wanted to get across was that in the beginning to set the expectation with the customer that you might not be on your phone to send updates. He was extremely rude, didn’t care what I had to say and couldn’t fully confirm whether he actually gave my dog his medication the night prior. All I wanted was to confirm that information and no response. I do NOT recommend this place at all. The smell when you walked in was horrid and doesn’t seem clean. Wouldn’t recommend taking your pet here.

This weekend I left my dog here and all I can say are positive things about this pet hotel. I was nervous at first because I had never boarded my dog before but he did great here. The staff was very friendly and even sent me pics and texted me when checking in on my dog. I will be using this pet hotel again for sure when I visit Yuma.

The place is clean they offer a bath they send pictures and it’s a neat spot with playgrounds in different fenced in areas for outside play for different size dogs. It seems to be a pretty good boarding facility when I was inquiring about it the week before I said several people come in that look like daily users for daytime, pet care, and I would definitely use this place again. The people are knowledgeable and really nice and listen to me yammer on about my animal with such patience (I was stressed as we were headed to LA for the week for a funeral).. and I can tell they really like the animals so that’s a good thing!! Also oriced WAY better than a couple others in town!! I think I would use this place again for sure.

Wednesday July 21st, 2023 I have 2Jack Russell’s that I was taking to the day care service at Yuma Pet Hotel after experiencing unusual behaviors ( having to pee as soon as I got out the door, peeing and pooping in the kennels on the way home, and foaming out the mouth from dehydration,,) from my dogs when leaving the day care facility, I called Yuma Pet Hotel when I got home, I shared my experience with the female that works in the morning’s , which I thought I always had a positive experience with her, I told her that when I picked up my dogs at 5:51pm that day,( I asked the boy who brought my dog’s out to me how was their day and behaviors, he wouldn’t answer me just walked off ignoring me and my concerns.) I asked her if he was deaf or couldn’t understand me, she replied that he couldn’t speak English, so I said that he must be illegal resident, she then called me a Racist, and shared some negative feelings towards me, I asked for the owners names and contact information she refused and told me that they would be contacting me? They never did as of 07/29/2023 Complete silence, I only gave them one star because I had to to write a review . I would not recommend this place for your pet’s daycare or overnight , they referred to our pets as animals and treated them like animals . I don’t like to be negative about any small business, but I am left with no choice since the owners never contacted me!!! Lesson learned! Foreigners don’t understand how Americans feel about their furry kid’s! I hope nobody else has this experience, I did take my dog to the Emergency Hospital!

Went on vacation for a week and needed a place to kennel my dog. This place was great and the prices were affordable. I will use them again.

Boarded my senior dog here and they called me the next day to tell me that she fell out of the bath. I do appreciate that she didn't come home stinky, but now that she is hurt..the bath just wasn't worth it at all.

I paid $100 for a 6x12 kennel. I could be a little off but it was there largest dog kennel I reserved for 2 nights. There take out times for all dogs are at 6am, 10am, 2:30pm, and 5:30pm coming from the male employee I asked. I called to check up on my dog on her stay, they claimed she did not pee in kennel except one time, and her bedding never got peed on. However my dog has no history of having accidents if properly taken out and when I received her bedding I can not even explain how strong the smell was on her blanket and on my dog. My dog was not properly treated and was neglected. When I asked about bedding they clearly did not check to make sure my dog was sleeping on a clean blanket and bluntly lied to my face about accidents or lied about checking for accidents. I would not recommend leaving your loved pets here.

I was disappointed with my experience. I brought my big dog for daycare today and when I dropped him off they told me he would play with other dogs (we bring him so he can get energy out and be around other dogs). I even called later in the morning and they said he was playing and doing great. When I went to get him, the person working was confused and said my dog was not there... I had just dropped him off 4 hours earlier. She checked again and (good news) he was there. I asked how he did and if he played and she told me they don't really play with other dogs while at daycare. So, he was in a kennel the whole time. I would have never brought him if I knew he was just going to be put in a kennel all morning. I'm not sure if they ever actually play with other dogs or not, but I was quite frustrated and don't plan to bring my dog back.
