I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!

Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!

Misti
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly & Thomas
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. Toby and Chloe were amazing pet sitters. It wasn’t the easiest sit - a nervous dog and 3 cats with various ailments and medication to have, but they took it all in their stride and cared for them so well without any issues. Our nervous dog Zelda warmed to them in just 2 days which is a record for house sitters so far! I also really enjoyed getting to know them over dinner the night before I left, they’re very easygoing and positive people. They also left the house spotless for when I came back. I would love to have them sit for us again. You can rest assured your house and animals are in safe hands with this lovely pair!

Pares is an experienced and quality sitter and we knew our cat Juniper (and a few plants) was well cared for. We received regular updates and photos which was really nice to have during our travels. While we missed Juniper, we could see that she enjoyed receiving cuddles and attention from Pares. Upon returning home, our flat was clean and tidy, and Juniper was very happy! Young was the perfect house sitter for us. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is animal person and is detailed oriented and will take great care of your house and pets. She exudes a peaceful and grounded energy. She was comfortable with each our pets from the high energy dog to the shy skittish cat. She played with the dog in the yard every day and took him on walks. And she was also very attentive to our cats and figured out how to maintain the equilibrium in the relationship between the cats and dog. She is an excellent communicator; she asked questions when our directions weren't clear and kept us updated on the pets. She is also an amazing photographer. She sent us pics of our pets every day that totally captured each of their personalities.

Someone was smiling down on us when Kevin and Mary clicked on our very first House Sitter advert. They are straightforward, pleasant, reliable and fun. They kept in touch about their own plans when their flights were delayed. They tactfully left the house when our own cancelled flights meant we were staying a few hours longer than first planned. They sent just the right amount of photos, videos and texts of our cat while we were away! We all loved that. And on our return, oh my word, the house fairies had been to visit! They somehow managed to walk the perfect line between improving everything, without interfering at all. Clean, tidy, replenished. They asked what food we’d like on our return and boy did they deliver! Home made bean stew :-) and different things for the children. Really kind and generous. Communication was clear and also witty..! They dealt with the churn of small mammals our “somewhat independent” cat brought through the flap without complaint. Paige, David, and family were WONDERFUL sitters for my crew! They were so pleasant and personable, and the pets warmed up to them very quickly. Even my rescue cat who tends to stray away from men loved David. I received regular updates and communication (before and during the sit). I truly did not have any concerns while I was away knowing that everyone had such great care and attention given to them. (I know the dogs had a good time because when I came home there was no commotion over my return.) I was away on NYE and Paige had no issues keeping an eye on one of the dogs who has anxiety surrounding loud noises. The family cleaned up after themselves and may have left the house cleaner than when I left! Truly such a great family who I would welcome back any time!

Amazing sitters - I feel so fortunate to have had them stay. Chapeau was treated to daily walks and belly rubs, and my cat Tica was overflowing with contentment from having been taken care of so well. The house was cleaner than I left it and I was treated to a nice note and a lovely candle upon my return. Also, they left a checklist of item that they had done while here. Truly above and beyond!

Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.

Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. Jared is excellent! He's watched my dogs a few times and has completely eliminated any worries I have about traveling without them. He is ridiculously fast to respond to texts and the pictures he sends during their stay are nice reassurances that they are happy and doing well. He's got a nice fenced-in yard and his dog Charlie has been playful and kind to my small dogs. It's seriously crazy to me how fast he is to respond to texts. Jared was great! His communication was wonderful and flexibility much appreciated. He has a great fenced in yard that I know our dogs enjoyed very much as they are never really on leash. One of our dogs has recently developed severe anxiety while at a kennel and I was worried that Jared might have an issue but he handled everything very well and said she was not stressed at all while with him!
Jared and Charlie were great. We came up to Traverse for a long weekend with our Basset Gus and knew that there would be some places that we wouldn't be able to take him. We didn't want to leave him in a strange place in his crate all by himself. I found TC Tails/Jared's info online and contacted him. He is very responsive and was very accommodating. We only did drop-in for the one day for about 5 hours so we could go to lunch and do some shopping. Jared was very flexible with the times. Gus was very nervous at first but Jared sent me a video of him and Charlie running and playing in the yard. I felt so much better. He had so much fun playing and slept really good when we got back to the cottage. I would absolutely recommend Jared for boarding and definitely would take Gus there again. Thank you again Jared and Charlie!
Absolutely thrilled with my recent dog boarding experience! Jared was fantastic with my golden retriever during the three days he stayed. He provided plenty of love, playtime, and attention, making my pup feel right at home. I couldn't have asked for a better caretaker—highly recommend! Five stars!
If you need pet sitting or dog boarding in Traverse City, TC Tails & Jared is the best! Jared was wonderful on all aspects. We had some interesting travel plans that changed a couple times and Jared was very accommodating from the start. He's very communicative and friendly. Our 2 huskies stayed at his house for 5 days, he has a perfect backyard set-up for dogs, fully fenced in (huskies are escape artists) that was very secure and he seemed to let them find their spots inside as they wanted when it was time to rest. Our dogs are used to finding comfy spots around the house and Jared let them treat his home like it was what they were used to. We got picture and video updates along the way letting us know how they were doing. Jareds dog Charlie was super sweet and you can tell he loves all people and dogs, our boys loved being around him and even got one of our dogs that doesn't play/socialize much to play with him. It made us very happy with our choice to use Jared for our boarding needs, couldn't recommend him more. We've had hit or miss experiences with pet sitters and dog boarding in the past, Jared is the best by far. Thank you!
Jared and Charlie are great! We have a 10 month old Doberman. This was our first time leaving her. We stopped over prior to staying to see if it would be a good fit and she loved it!! She’s an extremely high energy dog and she was well taken care of for her 1 night stay! Jared sent updates and videos which was great!
My dog is terrified around men. Jared definitely went above and beyond, making sure she felt comfortable around him, and making sure I felt comfortable leaving her. She felt right at home in no time and that alone speaks volumes. I cannot recommend Jared enough!
Jared was wonderful and trustworthy, taking such good care of Tala (husky- mini bulldog mix) while we stayed at Great Wolf Lodge. Tala had a lot of fun with friendly Charlie and playing chase in Jared’s big backyard. Jared’s communication was great and booking, drop off, and pick up were easy and convenient too. Highly recommend Jared and would definitely do again!

TC Tails watched my little Yorkshire Terrier, Boone, for the weekend. I was nervous to leave Boone as he is anxiety prone and can be high maintenance. However, TC Tails instantly put me at ease! TC Tails was extremely attentive to Boone and all of his quirks! I received constant updates and pictures of Boone during his stay with TC Tails. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that Boone was with a confident and experienced caregiver! I would definitely use TC Tails again!

My husband, son, and I vacationed in Traverse City recently for a wedding and had to bring our energetic boxer who obveously couldn't attend and we didn't feel comfortable leaving him at the hotel alone for hours. I found Pooch and Purrs website and decided to contact Megan in regards to having her watch Mac. Upon meeting Megan and her family, I knew that our dog would be in great hands and we could enjoy our family wedding! Megan sent me pictures throughout the evening, and my family and I could tell that Mac was relaxed, loved, and having a good time with their beautiful golden retriever . Megan takes care of my cats when I am on vacation. She is very organized and reliable. She comes every day, does the food and litter, and cuddles with my kitties for awhile. She also brings in the mail and walks through the house to make sure nothing is wrong. I don't know what I would do without Megan. I hate leaving my babies, but I know they are safe with her.

I cannot share enough about how amazing Tara and her staff are. We have a special needs pug with limited mobility. Tara and her staff welcomed our dog with so much love and care. Tara was absolutely wonderful! We had traveled to the area with our 3 year old chocolate lab. Our pup wae not getting along with her pup cousins and we needed a place last minute for boarding. Tara worked our dog in. Upon check in we were immediately put at ease. She assured us our dog would be well cared for. Our dog takes daily pills and she was able to administer them. When we picked up our dog she was happy and healthy. Overall, it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend Tara and her staff.

I highly recommend Aunt Tara's for boarding your dog. Whenever I leave my dog there, I can rest assured that Rocky is well taken care of.
