We had a wonderful experience boarding our pups at Wingmont Kennel. They came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Our frenchies were well taken care of by the caring and friendly staff. Like many pet parents, our dogs are family and we will make the drive from Richmond to Wingmont for the peace of mind they provided.

Bring your dog here if you want them to socialize with other dogs in a safe way, if you want your dog to be too happy, if you want them to have too much fun in the pool, if you want them to get too healthy from exercise, and if you want them to have too much love from the employees. We love Wingmont and so do our dogs!! I’m starting to think they like it there more than at home. Haha!

I just wanted to thank Wingmont so much for taking such good care of Rj! I was so nervous about leaving him and letting someone else care for him but they did an exceptional job! They didn’t mind my calls to check in, kept me informed and are the most friendly people. Rj left there very happy and healthy! They read him, did what he was comfortable with and he enjoyed every moment. He will be visiting there again in a few months for another week stay. I highly recommend Wingmont kennels for your pets home away from home 😊

Best boarding in the greater Richmond area. Been taking our pup here for years and he has always come back exhausted (from playing) and well cared for. Prices are super reasonable and the staff has always been cheery and helpful.

Love Wingmont! Our Weimaraner, Mei, has been coming to Wingmont for boarding since she was a puppy. The staff is always very kind, sensitive to some of her separation anxiety, and does a great job helping me to feel better about the boarding process too! Because of Wingmont's care and attention to our pup, our family feels comfortable when traveling, knowing our girl is in good hands. Thank you to all at Wingmont!

It's the only place I trust to keep my dogs. It's an hour from where I live, but worth the drive.

Super happy with our experience so far. We experimented with taking our Golden, Amory, for an overnight and will definitely be taking him back for longer visits. Everyone was very cordial and they had no problem working with our schedule to let us drop off early and pick up a little late. Amory even came back to us with a cool little handkerchief adornment too. Keep up the great work guys!

Al loves it here! He loves the staff & they love him. He loves playing with the other puppies. It's the 1st time that He's willing to leave my side. We get to a certain point on the road and he knows where he's going, he stands up wags his tail and is ready to get out as if he knows the rest of the way to Wingmont! He is treated like a King! Some days I think he's not going to come home with me. I see him and he has a scarf around his neck he's prancing around and he says bye to the staff, it's adorable!

We recently boarded our six-year-old Mini golden doodle and five month old Mini Bernad doodle. Needless to say they had the absolute best time! We received daily photos of all the dogs playing. Highly recommend!

Our normal boarder was unavailable and we were referred to Pawsitively Purr-fect through the grapevine. Our dog loves other dogs but has been reactive with some other boarders, so finding a new option at the last minute was a challenge. Jacki & JR were the best we’ve worked with, no contest, and have become our new go-to for boarding & daycare. They checked his veterinary records, showed us their home setup (which was a substantial improvement compared to our previous boarder), trialed him through daycare for a couple of days, and then kept him for a full week. They kept up his requested diet, gave him plenty of playtime and rest, and sent plenty of photos and necessary updates throughout his stay. We went for boarding in a pinch and left as new clients excited to bring him back for daycare. I cannot recommend Pawsitively Purr-fect highly enough. Don’t hesitate, just go.

Not only is the owner Jacki so, so sweet and was willing to answer any and all questions I had without hesitation, but they also take the time out of their day to send photos frequently of your pets for you to see what a great time they’re having! My pup has come home happy and worn out every time she has stayed for daycare. I oftentimes feel like she misses it on the days she doesn’t go! 😂. We haven’t boarded with them yet, but have a couple of trips lined up for the summer and have full faith that Jacki and her crew will take great care of our fur baby. 10/10 recommend!

We finally found a daycare/boarding place that we can give 5 stars to! Jax absolutely LOVES going to Jackie's! As soon as we turn on her street, he is pacing the car, ready to get out and go play with his friends! Jax barks at everyone but when Jacki or JR come to the car to get him, no barking! He eagerly jumps in their arms, ready to go! The photos sent twice daily is an added bonus! Jax is our baby, and we can leave him with Jacki and JR and feel 100% comfortable! Highly recommend!!

Dropped our 1 year old lab off for Memorial Day weekend for a three day stay. Lizzy was very reluctant to go in as all the dogs were carrying on and the gentleman who took Lizzy in had to sort of force her into the kennel area. When we came to pick her up, we had to kinda force her into the car as she didn't want to leave!!!! LOL. We received numerous pictures each day and a couple of videos that reflected how well kept the dogs are in their care. They were very communicable, pleasant and we will absolutely use them any and every time we need boarding for our lab!

I was thrilled to find this pet boarding near us for a recent trip. Having a meet and greet with the owner, Jacki, to see the facility and let my dog run around put me at ease. There is a large indoor facility lined with kennels connected to a fenced yard with astroturf and toys. I like that the dogs have free reign to go inside and outside as they please all day (except a few breaks in their kennels to eat, rest, etc.) Jacki was always very responsive via text, and she sent pictures every day (usually 2-3x/day) all the dogs around the yard. My dog came home tired, but content. I will be using Pawsitively Purr-fect in the future.

Amazing!! I really have no other words for Pawsitively purr fect pet sitting. Jackie took such good care of my dog while we were gone! My fur baby is diabetic and needs insulin twice a day. We were updated multiple times a day with Autumns status. I have a hard time trusting anyone to care for her but Jackie was amazing!

My dog, Penny boarded here and had the time of her life! I loved the daily pics and knowing that she was safe and happy. We will definitely be back! Thank y’all so much!!

A friend referred me to Pawsitively Purr-Fect and I'm so glad she did. I have a senior beagle and needed a place for him to board while on vacation. I was so impressed with the Meet and Greet process and tour. I was grateful for the fact that I was given a tour of the whole facility. It was clean and thoughtfully put together. They had nothing to hide, which made me trust them and feel comfortable about leaving my furbaby in their care. All my questions were answered thoroughly. Booking and paying for services is easy. My dog did great. While he was there, I got regular reports and photos so I knew he was having fun and well looked after. I appreciated their attention to my dog's special needs (and my worries.) All the staff I met was curious and friendly. They took excellent care of my boy and I know he will be a regular visitor now.

Don’t call Rover.. Call Sarah!!! I wish everyone were as reliable as Sarah’s team!! They are always there fur my German Shepherd and 2 kitty kats. My pets even appear younger, happier and very relaxed. My Sheppie is almost 8 and since Sarah’s team has been sitting for them, she is so playful and fun like a puppy!!! I am so grateful for all the time and attention they give.. And the pix they send!!! So creative and fabulous!!!! I feel so fortunate to have found these pet loving people!!!

Sarah and her team have been the best caretakers of our animals! We started out with one puppy and weekly walks and playdates for socialization and exercise. When we added another puppy, we added more walks and playdates. My doggies look forward to their time with Sarah, Monika and all the other excellent caregivers. The pics and commentary on their time away just makes my day!!

I cannot say enough about Sarah Sits-N-Stays! Look no further if you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies! We have been using Sarah's company since moving to Richmond in August 2022 and couldn't be happier. My partner and I have very hectic schedules, but we have never been unable to schedule a daily walk and lunch for our dog and cat (even sometimes at the last minute!). We have also used them for overnight visits during weekends we are away. We have never been concerned and always feel safe knowing Sarah's company is taking care of them. They even send pictures and updates every day summarizing their time together. Our dog Teddy is always happy (as you can see!) and well-exercised when we get home. Even our cat, who is not much of a "people person," has warmed up to the staff. We have had nothing but good experiences with all the walkers/sitters, but I would like to give a special shoutout to Madi who is our main walker. She is AMAZING and Teddy absolutely LOVES her! Seriously... look no further if you need a walker or sitter!

I have been using Sarah Sits-N-Stays for dog walking services ever since I adopted my dog last year. Sarah and all the walkers have been absolutely amazing. Sarah made sure my dog was paired with walkers who are comfortable with an energetic, young dog and my dog has gained so much confidence through her daily walks. The walkers are reliable, experienced and communicative. My dog and I are very thankful for all the help!

Could not be more pleased! I am a full time student. The walking schedule is tailored to mine and has been a lifesaver for me and my dog, Pippa! Sarah is organized and attentive—each walker sends an update and usually a picture of Pippa during walks/playtime. Everybody even gives my cat some love too! I highly recommend!

Finding Sarah Sits-N-Stays after moving to Richmond has been such a blessing for our little family! Our sitters have been so patient and understanding with our reactive dog, and always have great communication with us when we are out of town/when they are walking our dog. Tucker, our dog, now literally knows the word “Monika” and “friends” and he gets SO excited when it’s time for his walk and play time! With the Time to Pet application, I am able to upload all the important information regarding Taz's care, including vital medication she needs to have administered daily. They keep me informed with every visit and send me pictures so I can see how my little girl is doing. They have provided a peace of mind so when I need to travel I can do so with confidence. Sarah Sits N Stays is wonderful. They take such good care of my pup and communication is wonderful with an app that keeps us updated with pics and stories about the fun adventures our dog is going on. I’ve been taking my dogs here for daycare and grooming. The staff is so friendly and welcoming! Any questions I asked they answered happily. I will forever take my four legged babies here!

We’ve only used them twice but both times have been great. The staff is friendly and welcoming. My dog always seems to have a great time and comes back happy and wiped out. The only thing I wish was different was the option to add photos/videos while the dogs are there. I totally understand that the staff is busy but just would love to see my pup while away. Regardless we will totally be using their service again…in fact we’ve already booked our next reservation!

We started bringing my Standard Poodle here for grooming about a year ago, when there was a wait to get with the mobile pet groomer. It was supposed to be a one-time thing, but Ashlyn does such a great job that she has become our permanent groomer. Our Poodle is large - 72 lbs, and she does a wonderful job all over. She's always open to new ideas and is very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Hanover Your Pet for grooming!

First time boarding my unfriendly cat with Hanover Your Pet. The staff was friendly and showed me the cat room where she would stay. Facility was very clean and there were a few cats already there along with many dogs by the sound of them!! The price was reasonable and was $15.00 per day less than the one behind Hanover Green Veterinary clinic!! I would happily take my cat there again and recommend them!

Took my two pups here to board them for a weekend. They got lots of attention, lots of playtime, and we're well taken care of and fed. I will definitely bring my dogs back.

Boarded my cat here for 7 days, called on the 2nd day to check on her & they told me she had the sniffles, to which I told them to call me if it got any worse. My phone broke after this, but there was another number on file plus the emergency contact. My cat didn't eat THE LAST 4 DAYS she was in their care & they didn’t call either of the numbers. Got her back dehydrated and starving and covered in drool, her breath smelled terrible and the vet believes her kidneys started to fail, waiting on bloodwork results. We believe she will recover but she ate immediately when she came home & this has never happened before when boarding her at other places so it’s hard to believe this wasn’t incompetence. They also forgot to give me back her blanket and wet food cover that I had to go back for. Failed to communicate on so many levels professionally and medically, will never be back. Please take this as a warning to not bring your cat here

We recently boarded our dog here for 4 days. He came home with kennel cough. My biggest issue is with the lack of communication from staff. When we picked him up he was obviously not well yet they had him running around with other dogs outside. Staff said nothing to us. I find it hard to believe they did not notice the symptoms.

Our Collie and Golden Retriever love it here! They stayed for 9 days while we were on vacation. We paid extra for pool time everyday and they loved it. The cost for boarding is very reasonable. The day care rate seems a little high, but the dogs are happy so we use it when we need to. Staff is great! Manager is awesome! Overall 2 thumbs up. Haven't used the grooming services yet, but just might try them next time!

We've used several boarding places for our pup, but this one is our favorite. We've really had great experiences boarding our dog, Brooke, here. Their groomers also do a fantastic job with her as well!

This five star review is for the groomer at Pets at Play (can’t speak to daycare or boarding, as I’ve never done either). I have a 9 year old doodle and trust me, finding a groomer who is not only willing to groom your doodle but also does it well and with a good attitude (many get annoyed) is rare. I always leave happy! He does a great job and in my experience $100 for ~the works~ is affordable. So glad to have found him!

Our little dog loves boarding here. She plays with her little dog friends and gets meals on time. Grooming here is first rate. We bring her in every six weeks. There's a new groomer and he's great

My dog loves Pets at Play! I have been taking Ollie to Pets at Play for daycare, overnight boarding and grooming for over a year now. He is a sweet but sensitive dog. Pets at Play is the only dog boarding and grooming place in RVA that he enjoys going to and being at. The groomer is always very thoughtful about grooming Ollie the way I like. She called me before she groomed Ollie just to confirm she knew what I wanted from his cut. Very blessed to have Pets at Play in our lives

When I tell you my baby loves this place!!! He is a mamma's boy, if he doesn't know you he will not go near you. BUT when we come to Pets at Play he runs right through the door to the day care and grooming! He comes home tired from day care so I know he is playing and having fun!!

Only been here a few times but I am now a loyal customer! They must be doing something right, because now every time I walk my dog he tries to pull me in the direction of Pets At Play. He is so ecstatic every time we go, I am starting to bring him there just for fun in addition to out of necessity! Do note: if your dog is over 70 lbs they won’t be able to be boarded overnight due to kennel sizes, but they do wonderfully accommodating larger dogs in daycare! My pup loves Pets At Play!

Came here for their grooming services and was not disappointed! They were polite and informative when I called with questions and were super friendly in person. And they made my pup adorable! Will definitely return for future grooming services and daycare services.

My westie,, Tucker loves this place to play. I think he has a girlfriend there. They are kind, courteous and true animal lovers. This is the only place he’ll play with other dogs as he never plays outside my home with any other dogs male or female.

I booked grooming for my dog a month ago and was very clear (in writing) about his large size (~100 pounds) - they even said it was fine in writing. I drove 40 minutes to get there and as soon as I was pulling into my neighborhood after drop off, the groomer called to say that my dog was too heavy to fit on the table/a leg of the table was breaking. He made sure to mention that it was not my dog's fault at all/he was fine. He said he has been trying to get new equipment for grooming from management but they're refusing. What type of table doesn't hold 100 pounds? I drove for 2 hours total between 7:00am and 9:00am all because they couldn't provide the groomer the correct equipment to provide grooming services to my dog. It's not his fault in my opinion, but if he knew that size would be an issue, they should have let me know well in advance, as I had booked it a month ago. My dog used to go to Pets at Play about two years ago and there were not issues then (and he was around the same weight). Very disappointed in the lack of communication and lack of resources to provide grooming services. A word of advice to management: do not advertise grooming for dogs of all sizes/approve grooming for larger dogs if you cannot actually do it.

We used to be faithful Pets at Play customers for over 3 1/2 years, having taken our 4 year old since she was a puppy, and our 6 month old for a solid year at least two days a week for each. Over that time, we’ve provided them thousands of dollars in revenue, somewhere around $8k-$9k between daycare, baths and the occasional boarding. In March of 2019, we sent our older dog in for her regular daycare appointment and requested she get a bath and her nails trimmed. When we got her home, we noticed she was licking her paw quite a bit and saw one of her nails was badly damaged, split, and beginning to ooze pus. No one at Pets at Play called or told us her nail was damaged, even though they said her nails were cut. We emailed the owner with our concerns and received a call back from an employee, who specifically told me she was calling as to not cause any confusion, but they could not get their story straight. To me, it sounds like they didn’t want a paper trail of any potential responsibility. One person said the nails were cut, then the groomer said they did not need to be cut. If the nails got cut, why did no one tell us they damaged her nail? If they did not need to get cut, that obviously means you checked them all, right? And if you saw one was damaged, why were we never told? Whatever the case, our dog went to daycare just fine, but left with a badly damaged nail which required sedation and surgery the next day to the tune of $275 in vet bills. Whether our dog’s nails were cut, Pets at Play was negligent at best, and deceptive at worst in trying to conceal or claim ignorance of her injury. Finally, to add insult to injury (literally), I went into their online system that weekend to cancel the next two daycare reservations (because our dog needed to be at home to recover from surgery), and they had deleted all of her reservations for the next year without telling us. I never said anything to them, so why would they delete our standing reservations? It doesn’t seem like a good business practice to alienate loyal customers as we have been for years. The way Pets at Play treated our dog, my wife and me is no way to treat loyal customers. We’ve always enjoyed taking our dogs to Pets at Play for daycare and boarding, but I no longer have any faith in how they treat us or our dogs. We will not be returning, nor can I recommend their services.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful PETs at PLAY is! Dixie knows when I say "want to go see your friends" exactly where she is going and doesn't even look back when we hit the door! That is how I know, PETs at PLAY is the absolute BEST. Dixie has only ever stayed the night in her entire 11 years with my parents, PETs at PLAY and me. I LOVE the emailed pictures throughout the day of her literally smiling and having fun! I am particular because she is such an important part of my life and choosing a daycare and place to board seemed impossible until we experienced PETs at PLAY. Dixie's excitement when talking about, going to and spending time here is exactly why PETs at PLAY will be the only place we go!

Absolutely adore this doggy daycare. First, kudos to them for their required human tour. Aspens been to several doggy daycares and NEVER have I seen the inside of one. Our tour was at 10-11am, so there were already dozens of dogs there. The facilities are so beautiful, clean, and organized, AND they are staffed 24/7! I am obsessed! They are incredibly attentive to the dogs and truly seem to love their jobs. I’m very happy with my decision to move Aspen to Toby Town. They work with my crazy EMS hours on the weekend, allowing Aspen to be dropped off early for a small fee. They also have pools for the water lovers, like Aspen, which is so fun for her. I’m so happy with Toby Town and am thrilled to have found her such a caring, compassionate, and safe daycare!

Our 12 year old adapted Labrador, Bogey, loves Toby Town! Every time he comes home he can't stop talking about what a wonderful stay he had and how kind and attentive all of the staff members were to him. He loves the amenities, the indoor and outdoor play areas, the optional snacks and the overall cleanliness. Suffice to say, if Bogey is happy, we are happy with Toby Town!

Our pup has had a great time here and comes home exhausted. They offer amenities that can make your life easier (baths, etc). Place runs like a well oiled machine and go in get plenty of pics at the end of the day!

Tobytown is by far the BEST daycare and boarding facility in Richmond, VA. Gloria and her staff truly care about the dogs and their safety and comfort. It is the ONLY dog care facility you can walk in that does not smell AT ALL! No odor in any room or outdoor area. We leave our dog for long stays and he comes home happy and healthy. Tobytown posts lots of facebook and IG pictures to see how your dog is doing for daycare and lengthy stays. We appreciate Tobytown so much!

Best day care ever! Every single staff member works hard to cater to your dogs needs. My dog Charlie absolutely loves it. He has a little bit of separation anxiety and they care for him so well. They are friendly during pick up and drop off and they will work with you on times and days! Toby Town is kind, friendly, clean and safe for your dog. I wish I could give every staff member a hug because they take care of my dog so well. I am so thankful I found Toby Town! Absolutely Amazing!

My husband and I bring our boy Murphy to Toby Town once a week. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. He always looks SO happy and as soon as he sees where we are going in the morning, he is crying out of excitement. I feel bad for the morning worker (I’m so sorry!) who grabs him because he is literally a wild man jumping out of the car to go play. Every worker is incredibly kind and really care about your dog. I have small dogs and was a daycare novice prior to Toby Town. With a new puppy I wanted to make sure she was socialized so I began looking at daycares for her. After visiting several facilities I chose Toby Town because it was clean, bright and seemed to be staffed with grown ups. I liked that they didn't use crates and seemed to want to meet the needs of the pups first vs the needs of the facility. Having my puppy at Toby Town has been a great experience- the staff is consistent and communicative, and I feel like they keep an eye on her (as she's only 8 lbs). Quite honestly, she is the best dog and people socialized of my pack and I feel I have Toby Town to thank for that.

Best dog daycare in the area!!! We have tried several dog boarding options, and we believe Toby town has the most personal care and is the best value for what you pay. I don’t know how they have collected so many wonderful staff members, but we enjoy all our interactions with the employees and owner!! They remember my dog Wally and talk about how it went at the end of the weekend.

Toby Town is amazing! My dog Titan loves to go there and they take great care of him. The place is beautiful and cleaner than any human day care center!! Gloria, the owner, treats my dog as if he were her own. I wouldn't hesitate to board him there because someone is always there to watch out for him. I can't recommend this facility enough!

Furry Godmother Pet Spa is great with my English Bulldog (Blue). They are the only ones that can handle him when giving him a bath. They have also been great when I board him there. They give him all of the attention that he wants. 😁I am at peace when I leave him with them because I know he’s happy and safe. …

The staff and owner here are very knowledgeable and caring. This is my first time owning a dog, and I’m so thankful I found Furry Godmother pet spa. We have boarded here several times also, and I felt so comfortable leaving my Hope with the team. While I was gone I received lots of pictures and updates and I was very impressed about how clean the boarding facilities were. When I picked my little Hope up she didn’t even want to come home. I also received a full detailed report on how many times she used the bathroom and how well she ate. I’m very Impressed with the grooming they do on her also. She is a very sensitive dog for her grooming and they have so much patience with her. This is definitely a place you can trust and feel safe with your pet. You will not be disappointed. I will continue to bring my pet here and tell all my friends about this place. 10 out 10 for me.

This place is awesome! My little fat boy (jasper), Sophia and Abby were loved and well taken care of. We went to pick them up and they were hanging out on the couch like they would be doing at home. Freshly groomed and happy! Great job yall!

This was his very first haircut. The photo on the left is before, and the valentine theme photo is after his visit (which they designed). I need to tell you all how much they loved him! They took care of him like he was family. They answered all my questions, they explained the grooming process, and gave me a progress report of how well he did. I was so glad that he felt loved by them. The type of cut was excellent, and he looks like he's ready for a date! I will definitely be returning! Thank you for making my boy's day!

Very friendly animal lovers! Took my Yorkie for a nail trim and was so impressed I took her back a few weeks later for a complete grooming! Definitely recommend the small local shops over the big name places.

Sheri and her staff are very accommodating and do an amazing job! Our Staffordshire Terrier has been going to get groomed here for years and we recently adopted two 5 month old foster girls who had their first visit last week. Easy drop off, very communicative via text when they are ready and great feedback at pickup. I feel like they really care about each animal and go out of their way to make it the best experience for everyone. I like that they don’t cut corners on vaccination records and keep everyone’s health a priority.

I’m usually hesitant to leave my dogs when I go out of town but my mind was totally at ease leaving them at The Furry Godmother. I was updated daily with texts and pictures and felt they were in very good hands. They were treated with walks and playtime and lots of belly rubs. I will definitely use them again.

I just wanted to come on here and talk about my experience with Furry Godmother Pet Spa LLC. I have 3 fur babies Pebbles, Ranger, and Biscuit. Whenever I have taken my dogs to the Spa or Boarding facility they have gone above and beyond what I expected. Between the photo updates and phone calls regarding my pets, they really made me feel comfortable when having to leave them. My little one Biscuit has stomach and esophagus issue which makes her daily care a little more complex than the others. She needed to be watch while she ate and 10 minutes afterwards. It also made me very comfortable that they have vet care experience in case Biscuit did have issues and THEY DID THIS EXTRA CARE FOR NO EXTRA COST!!!! I love taking my babies to Furry Godmothers and will continue to do so, I hope this post finds people that need to find a place for their fur babies as well.

I cannot say this service was up to my standards. I took my dog to get his nails trimmed yesterday as he does not let us do them. I obviously would clip his nails if he would let me. This is our second time there and yesterday was MUCH different than our first time. The lady at the front grabbed the nail clippers and the Dremel and came and sat in the floor with my dog and myself. I had no issue with this. I had an issue when she grabs my dogs paw and he started squealing and trying to get away from her. I made her aware that he does not like his feet touched and normally has to be muzzled. She is saying “I’m not hurting you” and then looks at me after he nips at her and says “he is lucky he did not break skin” I also made her aware he is worse when I am around. She was also trying to tell me that he needed to trust her and I for this to happen. The nail trim did get done and I did leave a $2 tip because she did try and I am to nice not to tip when someone does something they are supposed to. I will never go back and this should have never happened. Looks like I’m finding somewhere else to go !

Kenny has been an amazing dog-sitter for us, taking care of our dogs whenever we're away. The dogs love him, and his reliability and caring nature make him our top choice. Thanks!

Kenny walked our dog for a year. He was a consummate professional and obvious dog lover. Our dog always looked forward to his walks with Kenny. My wife and I could rest easy at work knowing Kenny would be taking care of him while we were away. He was easy to work with and always clear and concise in his communications with us. Finally, he accommodated our ever changing schedules with ease. Our only regret is that Kenny can’t move with us. We recommend him and his services most highly.

Kenny is wonderful, and our pets adore him. He takes loving care of our dog, cat, guinea pig, and parakeets whenever we travel, which we do several times a year and often for weeks at a time. We appreciate that while he cares for our pets, he's also able to keep an eye on our house in general, watering plants, and collecting newspapers and mail. Kenny is very reliable, and responds promptly when we e-mail him from our travels. We and our pets are very satisfied Fan Sitter customers!

We had Kenny take care of our cats off and on during our nine month stay in the Fan District this past year. Kenny took superb care of our two little critters and our apartment when we traveled. He even volunteered to help us after we moved back to Pennsylvania by making sure our mail was been picked up. Just a great guy doing a wonderful service that put our mind at ease when we were out of town. My wife and I recommend him most highly.

Kenny is absolutely fantastic. I am so grateful to live in an area where I have access to his services! My husband and I adopted a senior rescue dog who can be very difficult, due to past abuse. Kenny has been AWESOME in working with Meyer, and I know that I never have to worry while I’m out of town. I recommend Kenny wholeheartedly!!!

We were nervous to leave our frail cat for a vacation recently but Kenny was excellent. I moved to Richmond 3 years ago and was lucky enough to find Kenny Williams aka The Fan Sitter. He is extremely prompt in getting back to you. He has been responsible for taking care of my 15 year labradoodle many many times and always confirms if Tag is still taking this medication or that one. One trip, Kenny emailed me letting me know he didn't see the peanut butter Tag liked, so he went out and bought some. Kenny is conscientious and very professional. I encourage any pet owner to use The Fan Sitter!

I've hired The Fan Sitter to walk my 2 dogs for about 3 years now. I cannot recommend Kenny highly enough. He is dependable! He is very flexible - he allows me to add a walk - change the time - cancel at virtually a moments notice. His rates are reasonable. I am so glad he was recommended to me.

I have been using dogservices since 2019 for daycare, boarding, and grooming. My dogs come home tired and happy! I have been very pleased with the care they receive. They will greet our dogs by name, the staff are friendly and kind. Management is great as well. I really appreciate the quality care my dogs get I highly recommend dogservices!

My dog is a rescue so he has severe anxiety at daycare and boarding facilities. However, he has learned to love it at Dog Services. The staff are very patient, kind and gentle and go to GREAT lengths to make sure your pet feels comfortable. First class facility with first class staff. I won't take him anywhere else!

Really happy with the quality of care my dog receives here. The facility is very clean and the staff are very friendly. They take the time to support my dogs training while also snapping great photos. I also really love the doggy report cards! Highly recommend!

I have had nothing but good experiences with DogServices! I wanted a good boarding/daycare place for my lab after moving here, and I definitely found that! I love their online reservation system, their easy drop/off and pick up, and how happy and tired my dog is after his stay with them. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they open at 7:30am on weekdays, which is inconvenient as I am already at work by then. I absolutely recommend DogServices!

Galahad has been going to day care for a few years now and the staff has been great! He loves it and never hesitates to run into the hands of the staff. When he was rescued, other day cares were at capacity and Dog Services was able to accommodate him right away, we have been going since. At times, your dog may need a "quick rinse & blow out" instead of a full grooming session, this is a great perk I've used often. Would highly recommend if your pup needs attention while you're at work!!

Best dog day care facility in Richmond. The employees at Dog services are always so willing to help and deliver expectational customer service. One employee that stands out to me is always Mackenzie. Mackenzie is always a pleasure to speak with over the phone and is always very sweet patient. My 2 year old lab mix Logan always comes home a tired happy pup. Look no further for a dog day care / boarding location in Richmond.

Place is a great way to keep your dog socialized. The staff is nice and we trust them with our two pups. Their environment nos safe and they have a great process to figure out if your dog is a good fit for their day care. Give them a call.

I can't stop bragging about how amazing this place is. The staff is absolutely amazing, and you can tell they really love their job and care about the pets they take care of. They are really thoughtful about the groups they put together for daycare, and safety is clearly top of mind for them. Our pitbull, Penny, LOVES going there, and she always gets SO excited when we pull up. We've never boarded her there (because we have a house/pet sitter that comes to stay when we go out of town), but we absolutely recommend daycare.

We can't say enough good things about Dog Services. We have taken our dog for both day care and boarding for about a year now. Our dog Luna has seperation anxiety but when we drive up to Dog Services she pulls us in and seems so happy to be there. It always smells and looks clean and the staff is very friendly and genuinely seems happy to see Luna when she arrives. Luna is always a happy (tired) pup after going to Dog Services.

Please, anyone boarding or doing daycare here PLEASE know, as said directly to me from a team member and a member of management - they DO NOT SUPERVISE your dogs. My dog was left alone outside and sustained minor injuries, before his playmate even arrived. Their direct answer to how he sustained such injuries were, and I quote “we do not supervise them”. I’m not upset at his scrapes, I’m not unreasonable. My fear in this is that he could’ve escaped (they claimed he was injured while trying to get through the fence) but beyond that, dogs are dogs. Even the best of friends can decide they don’t want to play and especially unfamiliar dogs could certainly end up setting boundaries that could result in a fight. To hear my dog faced minor injuries, saddening but understandable. To hear the excuse for those injuries was that they do not supervise animals was unacceptable. That is purely what we all are paying for - supervision in our absence. It was not made clear to me in my year and a half of boarding, nor anywhere else on their website, that dogs are unsupervised while in the yard, with or without other dogs. I think it’s important for anyone currently utilizing these services or considering to in the future that it is made clear that these animals are let out to play and, in the words of two separate team members, left unsupervised.

Absolute best! Our dogs have been coming here now weekly for the past 2 years. They love it and are always eager to get there the moment we get into the car. This is the first place I have ever used to board my dogs. They always keep me informed and let me know how my 2 are doing. Thank you! :)

This is an amazing establishment for your dogs to spend the day at daycare or board overnight when you go out of town. The staff takes great care of your pets as if they were their own. Great place to trust your pets with!

All the employees are so nice! No matter how my dog behaves I feel confidante that they will share it with me in a graceful manner along with and suggestions that might help me with issues (although there have yet to be any beyond her initially being too shy to interact well with other dogs).

Your dog is going to be barking non stop outside the hours of 11PM and 7AM, waking up and disturbing residents in the neighborhood nearby breaking Henrico County noise ordinance § 10-68. Prohibited noises enumerated. Nobody wants to hear dogs constantly barking NON STOP early in the morning and late at night and the ordinance addresses this: Allowing any animal to cause any sound or noise such that it is plainly audible. a. Inside the confines of the dwelling unit, house or apartment of another person at least once a minute for ten consecutive minutes; or b. At 100 or more feet from the animal at least once a minute for ten consecutive minutes.

Our dog Penny LOVES LOVES LOVES Doggy Daycare and has been going for 7 years now. She also boards there when we are out of town. We recently introduced our son & daughter-in-law's new puppy and she loves it, too! It is apparent that the staff love the dogs and we are confident that they are well-cared for there.

I had trouble logging in on their site and so I stopped by in person and the young lady who helped me was very helpful and explained that it's not always accepting of your information from phones. Just thought I'd point that out. The place looks clean , the dogs sounded ' happy' and the hours are great. I really like Paws inn too bit they do not have weekend hours. We also need a trainer and this place is very knowledgeable about dogs.

Took my pup there 3 times. First time was great and free! Got a report card on how he did with pics! Second time seemed normal, he was obviously tired and seemed to want to go back again, but no report card or anything mentioned by the staff. 3rd time he seemed he liked it there but returned home exhausted and it's now the day after the 3rd time I took him there and my baby can barely walk and won't let me look at what's bothering him (something in his paws) Not sure what happened but something obviously did at doggy DAYCARE as he has slept since we have gotten home...the whole point was for him to be taken CARE of, not to come home injured and in pain and probably a vet bill for me. He's only 10 months now, not an older pup at all, so his behavior from returning is not his normal self. Won't be using them again.

We love bringing our dog here! We come in regularly for daycare during the week and the occasional boarding. Our dog is always so excited to come in and play, and the staff is friendly and communicative.

To anyone who boards their dogs at this facility, this is what it says on the DogServices website- “ DogServices welcomes dogs for sleepovers by reservation. Our buildings are staffed round-the-clock so your dog is never, ever left alone.” Well this is not true, I worked here for 8 months and if there is 9 or less dogs staying overnight nobody stays with them. If there is 10 or more then someone stays overnight, otherwise your dogs is left completely alone overnight. This company lies and is money hungry.

My dachshund loves this place. When we get there, he charges right in. They are always interacting with the dogs. Taking many pictures with them especially holidays. On my trial day, I was able to tour the whole facility, and it was clean and no smell, and I was amazed by that. The staff does an excellent job. Here is his Halloween picture.

This is the Puppy Place! My little puppy had such a good time here. I don’t live in Virginia and I needed doggy care because I was on a work trip but my doggy had to come with me. They were excellent getting me in…she did a meet and greet and then was able to schedule immediately afterwards. Best of all I could tell my dog really like this place, she was so happy when we pulled up in the morning. The staff here is amazing and you can tell they take great care of the doggies there. They also send pictures of their day with a report card. Hands down the best place in Virginia for your doggies!

Little Dog Services was great to work with given one of my guys has some separation anxiety and we were worried about boarding him overnight. They worked with us to make both dog and humans were comfortable. He really loves his time there because when we pull in the parking lot he starts jumping to get out the door to play with friends.

My dog loves loves going, she gets so excited when we get close as she knows where she is going. Friendly staff and great prices. Holli did a great job today giving her a gorgeous haircut. ❤️❤️❤️

I absolutely love this boarding kennel for my cat Bear. They take such excellent care of him and provide updates as requested. They also were able to accommodate his 5 day stay at a last minute request. Wonderful group of people here ❤️

We have been going to Little Dog Services for over 8 years (since puppyhood). They love and treat each dog like their own. I highly recommend them and their amazing staff. Some places may be fancier, but what a pet cares about is love, safety, and fun. Little Dog Services delivers.

I've given Little Dog Services an opportunity to remedy the situation and they haven't taken it upon themselves to get back to me, so I am posting this review. I took my dog to daycare for the second time on Saturday and picked him up around 2:45 that afternoon. When I got home, I did a thorough check of him because he seemed to be covered in dried saliva and as you can see in the images below, he was either bitten or scratched repeatedly by another dog in his groin area. This is NOT okay and definitely not the result of normal play. No one mentioned anything to me when I picked him up. One of the scratches look fairly deep so I ended up taking him to the emergency vet where they disinfected him and told me to keep an e-collar on him for the next few days to prevent infection. They weren't sure what exactly the cause of it was - either bites or scratches. I talked to one employee over the phone who, not only did not even express any condolences, tried to tell me that he was the biggest in the group and she didn't see how anything could happen when they were "playing". I emailed these images and was told someone would get back to me. Haven't heard a thing in over 24 hours. Do not take your dog to Little Dog Services. This is direct evidence that they are not properly supervising or intervening in play when necessary. I even had told them that my dog has a tendency to be submissive and bring out the bully in more dominant dogs. It is obvious they are not dividing dogs into appropriate play groups as advertised. And if an issue does arise, they will not handle it in a timely manner.

I love the staff at Little Dog Services! They go the extra mile every day to make our dogs happy and safe. I cannot thank them enough for the special care they give to both of my dogs. Truly awesome!

This place is lovely. The staff make my day every time I pick my pup up with their kindness. And I can tell they truly care for my dog. Don't bother with anywhere else. I switched here for daycare from a big chain and couldn't be happier with the change.

My dog is always eager to enter the building so that is enough for me to know she loves it.
