Jen is amazing! We love that the dogs are able to move freely about her home and yard, just as they normally do at home! Jen has always been accommodating on drop off and pick up. She sends pics and videos throughout the day, and is super responsive to calls and texts. Highly recommend!

Jennifer has an amazing set up for Kincey when she is ready for some extra play time and fun. Jennifer maintains a convenient and easy way to allow your dog to have a play date or even stay the night if needed. Jennifer is so friendly and is always quick to let you know her availability. Every time we get close, Kincey is always so excited to see what her next play day will bring.

Could not be happier with Jen and how she has taken care of Gus for us. She is very easy to work with, gives updates along with photos, and I can tell Gus enjoys himself at her home. It's so nice to see him excited to be dropped off when he stays! Highly recommend her services.

Growing up I remember how our dogs would react when we began to pack our bags to go on a trip, knowing that they would be boarded. My dog has the opposite reaction, she gets excited when she sees me pack bags and the moment we arrive at Jen’s she is crying because she wants to get out and play. I am so glad we found Jen and her love for our pup is so evident. Yay Jen!

Shannon took great care of Bella. She sent pictures daily and kept us updated on how Bella was doing . We will definitely be using them again.

Increased pricing and was not made aware it would be $15.00 extra a day to give medication. At pick up, they didn't have the rest of her medication and said she had taken it all - they returned her with her leash, a small zip loc bag of dog food and her blanket. I called to inquire about the rest of her stuff and also let them know there was a whole bottle of medication so it shouldn't be empty. They then found all of her stuff and said we could come back and pick it up. When returning, her bag still had three cans of wet food and treats that had been untouched. I sent her a can for every day she was there, so she didn't get wet food for three days. This is not the service I have had in the past. I sent an email to the owner thinking she wasn't aware of her staffing....no response. Oh - and I also tipped. Do not recommend.

My dogs love it here, they honestly didn't do well in other places, but they seem to like it here. They also are great for grooming.

Great experience here. It was about an hour and a half for my dog to get a much needed grooming. Staff were kind and considerate, felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with them.

Worst experience ever. Tried to call about boarding our dog, couldn't get through. We stopped by and inquired about boarding. The worst service I have ever experienced. She was younger, and said that since my dog wasn't neutered they wouldn't take him. Policy doesn't state that. She was not professional at all, and by the look on her face and tone she spoke to me, please take your business elsewhere.

I can’t believe it has taken me this long to write a review. They treat my dog like he is theirs! I know I can ALWAYS count on them and I trust them to take as great care of my dog as if he is with me. I moved three hours away but still take him here. It is always clean as well!

Called a month ago to set up my pets for boarding and was asked to send in the vaccination paperwork. Sent it into the email address listed on the website. I was called TODAY at 1:30PM and told that the paperwork was never received. I was then given a DIFFERENT email than what was listed on the website, and then told that my dog did not have ONE vaccine that NO VET HAS EVER EVEN RECOMMENDED I GET. When I called and asked why this wasn't informed to me prior to THE DAY OF- I was told, "It's very busy, and we only have three people working here". I don't know who thinks that this is an intelligent way to run a business, but they should re-evaluate that. Fix your website, fix your process, and fix your expectations. There's no way that I can get my dog a vaccine within an hour and a half. That isn't realistic. Terrible business.

What a wonderful place! They are always clean and look nice. The staff are very helpful and always willing to discuss helpful tips and pointers for our dog. Their prices are a bit more, but you get what you pay for! They don't have any hidden fees like most places; my dogs gets excised regularly and he loves it there. Would recommend to anyone!!!!

We've used the Mountaineer Pet Care Center twice for day care for our dogs, and have been very pleased both times. The staff is very attuned to the needs and personality of the individual animals, and very accommodating and easy to work with. Definitely recommend them.

Stephanie walks my dog throughout the week and does a wonderful job with her. I have been extremely happy and impressed with her services she provides and my dog absolutely loves her. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone who needs a pet sitter or dog walker. She is responsible and loves my dog like she is her own. She is also wonderful with communicating with me and making sure the needs of my dog and I have and continue to be met. It was such a relief to find someone who I can count on and trust with my dog while I am at work during the day.

Stephanie is amazing. She loves my girl like she is her own. I get daily updates and pictures. She actually walks her everyday, with playtime and snacks! My Sadie is very lucky to have Stephanie!!!

We used Stephanie for a few years and were happy with the care she gave our dogs. She came throughout the week to let them out while we were at work and did overnight stays when we went out of town. However, she started asking to be paid early (very often) and for us to loan her money (a few times). We paid her early each and every time she asked (which was very frequently) until about a month ago. I told her we had to stop paying her early and no more loans. After this, things went bad fast. A few days later, she told us we could find someone else to watch our dogs. I said that was fine. Then she texted me and said “Mike fell out back on your patio the other day. I just wanted to let you know. If you have a camera out there you can see it. He hurt his back and side bad”. To which I responded “Huh, that’s odd u r just now mentioning it. Guess u shouldn’t be bringing him on your jobs”. Then she proceeded to say “he’s going to the doctor later”. Does this sound like a threat to sue to anyone else??? So, my review of her care of dogs would be 5 stars, but the baggage that comes with that isn't worth it so I give her 1 star.

Stephanie is dedicated in taking care of the animals she has in her care.Carries treats for them when they potty and she plays with the dogs and teaches basic tricks.Happy for the services she provides.

They don’t pick up the phone. The one time she did she hung up on me. Very unprofessional.

Stephanie provided conscientious and excellent care for our fish in 9 aquariums while we traveled this summer. She took the time to learn all the many requirements of each tank. She kept us posted with their status and contacted us promptly with any questions. We'll definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone. Thanks!

Bark Barn always takes great care of our fur baby. They send updates and let us know of any issues right away. Going the extra mile if anything is needed while we are away.

Bark barn was the first place we’ve boarded our pups since we’ve moved to WV! They were so kind and sent updates throughout their stay, and tailored their approach to each of my dog’s needs! We were very impressed and my dogs had a great time!

We recently were in need of a dog sitter that we could rely on for our boy Rippy and found Barkbarn! Couldnt be happier with the experience , as she allowed us to have a trial play day first to see how he does with the other dogs. He had a great day and did so well! Pictures and videos were sent to me so i could see how he was doing! Am so happy to have found Barkbarn and am looking forward to our next trip, as i feel my boy Rippy will be so very well taken care of!

I was looking for a place to look after my French Bulldog who was suffering from a dislocated disk. The doctors suggest 2-3 weeks rest, with no rough-housing or other strenuous activities. Bark Barn was the perfect place my dog. Talk about TLC. She got it 100 percent. My dog ended up taking surgery and I’m going to use BB for her recuperation period. Just wonderful people who truly love dogs.

We absolutely love Barkbarn! The staff is always amazing and care so much about all the dogs. Our dog Maggie attends daycare and has been boarded multiple times at Barkbarn with no problems. Maggie gets so excited to see everyone at Barkbarn. We always get picture and text updates while we are away. Highly recommend BarkBarn for boarding and daycare!

The owners of Barkbarn are incredible. These two wonderful people will make sure that your dog is not only boarded in a warm and welcoming facility, but that they have ample time to get outside to run, play, and smell. They also worked on little bit of training while our dog was there. We were updated with photos of our dog in their backyard and out on hikes.10 out of 10, worth every penny, and I will 100% be using them again.

My family is so grateful for BarkBarn! BarkBarn has helped us train and care for our very large lab since he was about four months old. He *loves* going to BarkBarn for daycare and boarding, and we trust the BarkBarn team (Alana, Brock, and Hailee) to give the same love and care as they do their own family dogs. We can't recommend them enough!

We took our Golden Retriever to Barkbarn for a weekend stay after hearing so many glowing recommendations. This was our first time leaving him anywhere overnight since before Covid, and we were a little nervous. We could not be more pleased - the owners are so nice and welcoming & great with communication. We will 100% be using Barnbarn exclusively for our future boarding needs in Morgantown. 10 stars!!

We were looking for a new place for our fur babies to vacation at while we were out of town and we were so excited that we found Barkbarn! One of our good friends reccomended them to us and Barkbarn did not dissapoint! Our pups were well cared for and the youngest (3 years old) acted like she could have stayed there all week - she was so comfortable! The owners provided us with updates and pictures throughout our pups stay with them, and were very friendly and professional. We will definitlaly be boarding with them again :).

Took my 4 month old pup to the Bark Barn for full day daycare and she had a blast! I received multiple text and photo updates throughout the day. Owners are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and care for all dogs like they are their own! Highly recommend!

We absolutely love the Doggie Den! We had to board my dog, Atlas, for 9 days & always have the best experience. We had frequent updates with the cutest photos & videos! The staff are so caring & great, the owner is amazing & the environment is incredible. Atlas had a vacation of his own! Pools, trees, toys, & even meditation!! ❤️

I can not express how amazing this place is for your pups. It’s so nice to be at ease while on vacation knowing your pups are taken care of. They go above and beyond make sure your fur baby is taken care of but also have a great time. I love having such an amazing place to board our pups while we are gone when get updates daily and pics. My pups were boarded over Easter and they even got to see the Easter bunny! This place is just amazing.

We live nearby the second location in Bridgeport, they are always outside playing with the dogs! Our dog loves watching them. This morning I mistakenly heard something from an employee I thought was towards us because our dog was screaming barking and we suppose it was alarming to the other dogs, its alarming to us, he came to us very abused and we are working with a local vet, medicine and lots of love to help heal him. I misunderstood and reported this young lady to the owner. I was in the wrong and when the owner called me she supported her employee while trying to make me understand that this employee absolutely loves animals and did not say what I had thought I heard. I apologized and also sent the young girl an apology but thought I should say it. I apologize. The damage we can do by a misunderstanding. Thankfully this owner knew her employee and knew I must be wrong. I do not mind admitting it and that I will be more careful in the future.

We needed our puppy boarded for a week. The Doggie Den was highly recommended, and we can confirm that the reviews are accurate. It is a wonderful facility, staffed by caring employees and a great owner. We loved getting daily videos showing how well our puppy was getting along. We would definitely use their services again.

Love this daycare! The staff are very attentive and know my pup by name. My dog gets so excited when we pull up and he comes home worn out from a day of playing. We have also boarded with them and they went above any beyond to make sure that our dog was comfortable and well taken care of. I highly recommend The Doggie Den.

We originally used the Doggie Den as a daycare for our puppy while we worked with hopes that she would develop positive social skills. As our puppy grew up and our work schedules changed, we no longer needed the doggie den but there was no way we would stop using it. Our puppy has made dozens of friends and comes home absolutely exhausted every single day. We still use the daycare 3 days/week which is well worth the price (much cheaper compared to some other daycares/boarding facilities). The staff are super friendly, facilities are very clean inside and out, the owner is very accommodating without ever compromising safety, rules, and regulations. We also have an aggressive rescue dog who is perfectly comfortable boarding here regardless of his fear for humans and other animals. Staff constantly send updates, videos, and progress reports which are always greatly appreciated. 10/10 would recommend.

I took my grand doggie there for my son and daughter in law when they were on vacation. Because of Covid I could not go in but the place looks fabulous. I appreciated the fact that I was not allowed in, made me feel like my dog would be safer. The lady that came out to the car to get our doggie was fabulous. Very nice, asked a lot of questions, wore a mask, I was completely comfortable the whole time. My daughter in law received numerous pics and videos during the week. Pivie (yes, that's my grand doggie's name) had a ball. I would highly recommend this place for doggie day care or for vacations!

Marlo has been going to doggie den for daycare weekly for daycare since he was a puppy (he’s now 4.5!). Every staff member is absolutely amazing and treat Marlo like their own. Fairmont is beyond LUCKY to have such an amazing business to serve us. Marlo and I are extremely grateful!

Absolutely love this place!!! I had never left my pup at a daycare or boarding place before, so I was definitely nervous the first time, but they made it so easy. They sent me 8+ videos every day that I was gone of my girl playing with all of the other sweet dogs there and she was having the time of her life! She's boarded there twice now, each time for about a week, and there's no doubt in my mind that she'll be ecstatic to go back again next time 🥰

Friendly staff. However, it took 5 hours to get my dog back. He came back smelling like cigarettes mixed with a strong perfume. The price was out outrageous. My fault for not asking prior. He came back to us extremely lethargic. Not acting himself. Abnormally tired. I’m suspicious he was giving something. Overall, I don’t recommend.

Friendly staff. HOWEVER, I felt it was extremely overpriced! I paid $38 to have my dog's nails trimmed. As a first time dog owner, next time I will seek recommendations and shop around. From what I have read, average price to clip nails is $10-$25...$25 being at a high end salon. My fault for not asking for price when making appointment...it was a nail trim.. didn't think I needed to. As I said, staff was friendly enough...just not worth what they charge. So I just called a few other places and yep...$38 is outrageous!!!! They couldn't believe it when I told them I paid that much. The other groomers I called quoted me $12 and $15. You should be ashamed of yourself ‼️

Worst groomer I have ever had my dogs at. They told me to pick them up at 7pm. When I got there they said the needed another hr. Came back an hr later and they still weren’t ready. She kept making excuses of them one being a big dog. Which is an average size golden retriever. Mind you they were dropped of at 1:30 in the afternoon. After leaving once and then waiting another hr in the office we finally left a 9pm. It was a horrible experience all the way around. So basically my dogs were there for nearly 9 hrs. Would not recommend them to anyone. Then to top it all off they charged $296.00 for 2 dogs. I have had my dog done at 5 star resorts and it didn’t cost near that.

We always take our dog here. They do an excellent job, but really wish they didn't keep him so late in the evening to pick up. It's often 9 pm or later. Not a complaint- just wish the pickup hours were better

The woman who groomed my dog did an excellent job - she was very sweet, too. However, my only complaint is that they are way over priced for the service - if you are ok with spending $80 for a grooming appt, then I definitely recommend this place. If you're like me, though, and are on a budget, I recommend seeking another shop.

excellent cervices. my dog, a Norwegian Elkhound, has never looked or smelled better and she LOVES the staff that work hear. Anyone who is familiar with this breed also knows how much they shed and I have not been able to find a way or anyone ells who can help with this issue like Clip & Care dose! prices are also average which makes this the only place I would ever bring any of my pets.

Great service a little pricey but can accommodate a client when needing grooming. No long waiting for appointments. Staff is great with your furry loved ones.

Dropped my dog off at 3pm and didn’t get her back until 9pm. was also very expensive. $140 for one dog haircut.
