From the moment I first spoke to someone on the phone to the day I picked him up, I've never felt more comfortable and safe leaving my sweet Dobby dog with at a doggie hotel! The love they have for pets is so real and present. Dobby came home happy, bathed, and full of energy! I highly recommend our new family at Dog Days Inn! And they gave him a distinguished bow tie!!

I took my Golden Doodle for grooming at Dogs Day Inn. Jess, his groomer, is simply amazing at her job. I really didn't appreciate how talented she is until I had another groomer cut him a few months ago. Her attention to detail, technique, and ability to shape my Doodle's hair is what sets her apart from the rest. If you want a professional cut for your Doodle, call dogs day inn and schedule and appointment with Jess. I promise you will not take your dog anywhere else after you experience her expertise.

Our doggies seem to always enjoy their kennel stay at DDI. We opt for them to get a bath before pick up. Their fur is so soft with a nice fragrance.

Dogs Day Inn is the only place I trust for my dog! While they may not be the newest facility around, the staff's warmth and friendliness more than make up for it. My dog absolutely loves it here and is always happy when I pick her up. At some of the newer places, my dog has come home scared and anxious, but at Dogs Day Inn, she never wants to leave! The care and attention they provide are top-notch, and I know my dog feels safe and loved every time she’s there. If you're looking for a place where your dog will be treated like family, this is it. I can't recommend them enough!

Staff was amazing and fit my Butter in last minute. They are very professional and efficient!

We always board our two dogs here. They come home happy and tired from all the fun. It's the staff that keeps us coming back. The facility is not the newest or best appointed facility in town, but the people make the difference for us.

My dog absolutely loves this place. We had tried multiple other places (for boarding) and I had found that he was incredibly anxious entering and leaving all of those other places. But with Dogs Day Inn I found that Archie has been repeatedly excited to enter and is always happy and not at all anxious when he leaves. It appears that they pay close attention to each dog, and give them love and care while their owners are away! Couldn't recommend it more.

Great family oriented services. My babies get boarded and groomed here. I’ve been a customer for over 10 years and I’d dare not dream about taking them anywhere else. My dogs (Dutch Shepherd and a Yorkie) start turning in circles and whining as soon as we pull into the parking lot because of their excitement to go in! I have to tell them to stop it because it’s so annoying 🙄. It was so bad one day I had to call the owner because I was so tickled at their behavior. It’s like instant gratification for them and they know exactly where they’re at. I have recommended this place since I found it back when Paige was the owner, and now that her daughter Kris has taken over I still have the same stance! There’s no place better that I’d trust with my babies. So much so that even my mom started boarding her babies here. Great job to the team! You’ve gained a loyal customer for as long as I’m in the area!!!!

Giselle is such a sweet and loving person! She loves and cares for our fur babies just like they are her own! Giselle kept my Dog Elijah for 5 days and kept me informed on how he was doing daily with pictures and text messages. I highly recommend Giselle because She is so gentle and kind to every fur baby that she comes in contact with! You can just tell Giselle loves what She does. I cannot recommend Giselle enough! She took care of my dog, Claire, with such love and attention that it felt like she was in the care of family. Gisell is amazing! I was super nervous to leave my puppy because it was our first time being away from each other and my first time using a dog sitter period but Gisell really helped ease my nerves with her updates. I have used Playful Paws Petcare multiple times to care for my sweet fur-baby. Gisell takes great care of him and he always has the best time making friend with other dogs and playing! Due to his sensitive skin and stomach issues, he needs medications administered and close eye to monitor if there are any issues to arise, which Gisell does a great job. I always receive updates and photos of my pup! I highly recommend using Playful Paws Petcare!!!

Gizell is wonderful! She is very kind and has a beautiful, clean home and set up for keeping animals. Nice fence too! I am so happy to have chosen her to care for my 4 dogs!! She handled that crew well, no doubt! She kept in touch every day sending pictures or videos, which was fun for me to see. During my trip I felt very confident that my dogs were safe and happy! She was also very flexible with our flight schedule with leaving very early morning and coming back late at night. She's the best! I wouldn't hesitate to use her again for my pet sitting needs. My pets even appear younger, happier and very relaxed. My Sheppie is almost 8 and since Sarah’s team has been sitting for them, she is so playful and fun like a puppy!!! Sarah and her team have been the best caretakers of our animals! We started out with one puppy and weekly walks and playdates for socialization and exercise. When we added another puppy, we added more walks and playdates. My doggies look forward to their time with Sarah, Monika and all the other excellent caregivers. I cannot say enough about Sarah Sits-N-Stays! Look no further if you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies! We have been using Sarah's company since moving to Richmond in August 2022 and couldn't be happier. My partner and I have very hectic schedules, but we have never been unable to schedule a daily walk and lunch for our dog and cat (even sometimes at the last minute!). We have also used them for overnight visits during weekends we are away. We have never been concerned and always feel safe knowing Sarah's company is taking care of them. They even send pictures and updates every day summarizing their time together. Our dog Teddy is always happy (as you can see!) and well-exercised when we get home. Even our cat, who is not much of a "people person," has warmed up to the staff. We have had nothing but good experiences with all the walkers/sitters, but I would like to give a special shoutout to Madi who is our main walker. She is AMAZING and Teddy absolutely LOVES her! Traveling for a living can be difficult at times, and having a nervous dog can make it challenging to find the right person to provide care. From the moment Marla came over for the meet & greet, she somehow calmed my timid dog with just her presence. For the first time in 7 years, my dog felt comfortable approaching a stranger within minutes and she quickly fell in love with Marla! I’ve never met another pet caregiver with such a special gift than Marla, she treated my dog as if she were her own. Marla spent time getting to know me and my dog, she was pleasant, professional, trustworthy, and made my dog feel comfortable in a new surrounding. The best and most reliable pet sitter we've ever worked with! Marla has watched our 5 cats a few times now. We always come home to find them and our house in great shape. Her prices are very reasonable, and she spends lots of time with them during her visits and goes above and beyond sending us daily updates which we personally love. We can’t recomend All For Cobalt highly enough! I was nervous about traveling but when we met I knew my 4 cats were in great hands. I could tell right away that Marla loved animals, was extremly experienced, and super detailed. She took notes on each kitty and there were backup plans to the backup plans. Marla sends daily updates and it was awesome to watch the shyest cats slowly fall in love with her through daily updates! I would give a 100 out of 5 stars if I could - it’s such a relief when your away that someone who genunily cares and has a ton of experience is coming by to spoil your little munchkins.

Marla is fantastic!!! All for Cobalt was recommended to me when we were trying to figure out what to do with our kitty, Billy, while on vacation this year. I had been completely stressed thinking I was going to have to drive home several times during the week to check on him. Let me just say, Marla is the best!! She visited Billy 4 times while we were gone, made sure he was fed, had water and cleaned his box. On top of that she stayed for about 45 mins, brought him toys and catnip, AND he loved her! Billy doesn’t like people; however we got pictures and videos of him not only on his own but him right there with Marla allowing her to pet him, play with him and brush him!! I am beyond pleased and will never have anyone else come to care for him! I highly recommend Marla with All for Cobalt!

I highly recommend All for Cobalt pet care! Can't say enough good things about the care provided to our older chihuahuas, one of which requires medication and a special diet. Marla took the time to get to know them, their routine, and us prior to pet sitting. Our dogs almost immediately took to her. GREAT experience! Caren walked our rambunctious puppy while we were out of town and he LOVED it!! I think he’s better behaved now than when we left:-)! Our family has a cat named George we love dearly. The children and I recently took a two week vacation and did not want to leave George in a boarding kennel or with friends or neighbors for that length of time. Having The Collar Club of Virginia come into our home was so much better and without a doubt I know that George was lovingly looked after. When Caren came over to meet George for the first time, he immediately took to her and she was so sweet to him. George is a cat who needs a lot of attention. Caren recognized that immediately and went right to his basket of toys. She was excellent from the start - Caren is beyond reliable, dependable and qualified. She sent us pictures of George while we were away with little notes letting us know how he was doing. She brought in our papers and adjusted the lights each day, took out our trash and even coordinated with a serviceman for some plumbing work while we were gone. When we needed help transporting 2 kittens that we had adopted online to our home from the airport, Caren helped us out enormously! There were some issues with picking up the kittens, but Caren handled them very professionally and kindly. She was prompt, attentive, and very loving towards our kittens. Caren has been a wonderful person to work with since we first met her and has been our go-to person for our pet-sitting needs! She came to our home to meet our pets before her first time sitting them, and made sure she understood all of their needs. When watching our pets she is easy to get into contact with and keeps us updated after each visit. Caren is a professional. Absolutely reliable - she goes above and beyond. My 16 year old kitty takes insulin shots twice a day and requires extra TLC. Caren handled this with ease. Caren is such a kind person and cares endlessly for animals. We enlisted Caren to care for our golden retriever Mosby for 2.5 days. We did one over night stay and twice daily walks. She constantly updated us with photos and comments on what he was up to. As first time customers she gave Mosby a couple of toys and even went through lengthy research to tell us the best vet in town (we are new to Richmond). The staff here are so kind and friendly. My dog, Cosette, begins smiling and wiggling as soon as we walk in the door. It is a 'no frills' place but my dog doesn't need a pool or gym equipment. She needs a loving staff and plenty of dogs to play with. It is affordable and they will even bath her and trim her nails for me. She goes to daycare 2 days a week. Because she has so many positive interactions there, she was comfortable being boarded for a few days.

Conan was a senior dog with specific needs when he started going to Four Paws Pet Resort. The staff were always accommodating and understanding of his needs. I lost my best friend while I was traveling and the Staff at Four Paws showed him the love only someone who cares deeply for an animal can show. The owner stayed in contact with me while we made our way home and his staff remained with Conan until he passed. I may not ever need the services of Four Paws Pet Resort again, but I will refer everyone I know. Just tell them “Conan’s Dad sent you.”.

Overall nice employees and reasonable prices. My issue is why don't you have live video footage,cameras/monitors for us pet parents to see what's really going on when we're away from our babies? If there's nothing to hide and all is well? Id feel more comfortable seeing that my pet is truly happy and enjoying their day while I'm gone. It's every parents right to see first hand if their pet is truly being taken care of as claimed and they're having fun, enjoying themselves. I strongly recommend implementing a live video stream for people who drop their dogs off with you all day. It would give us a peace of mind and no suspicions.

Warning ‼️ My fur baby is now missing one eye after being boarded here. Incident took place Monday. I was informed my dog’s eye was dislodged from the socket and right off I was being told it was common or normal for my breed and age of dog. My family and friends own small breeds of different sorts and have never had this issue. He was taken to the hospital and they could not save the eye. They also determined that this was NOT normal and resulted from traumatic injury. It’s is now Thursday and I still do not have an incident report or video footage from the facility. No one has told me what happened while he was in their care. They keep saying they are sorry but still have yet to give me answers. Owner said he would provide report after investigation but why does that take more than 24hrs from an incident involving emergency surgery? They accuse the hospital of being overhanded on their report to me and all the hospital did was report their findings and facts, something four paws for some reason has a hard time of doing.i lost trust with this center and made sure my dog was discharged my boyfriend and not them. This caused him to rearrange his work plans. How do you brace your child to see their dog perfectly fine one day and in pain, discomfort and missing an eye when she returns from travel?

I began using Four Paws over the summer when I needed a last minute sitter. I was very nervous the first time around to leave my babies with someone I didn't know. Needless to say I gave them a call the day after drop off to check on my babies. The staff told me they were having so much fun with the other dogs and were wearing themselves out. Since the first visit, I have booked a couple more times. As soon as we arrive to Four Paws my pups know exactly where we are. They get so excited to go see their friends and have so much fun! Upon pick-up my pups are always worn out from all the fun they had. If you need a place to board your pups Four Paws is the place to go! Friendly staff, fun environment, and bonus: the dogs are worn out by pick up time!

We absolutely love four paws! The staff are always so great and welcoming. After a few visits, they had remembered our dog by name. We normally bring our hound mix for dog daycare. He thrives on social interaction so he is always excited when we pull up to the building. We have also used them for boarding over the weekend when we leave town and never had an issue. We have recommended them to several of our dog friends.

My dog Chip loves 4 Paws Pet Resort! The staff is always friendly and courteous. Chip loves everyone that greets him at the front desk. We have never had any safety concerns and they all obviously love working with dogs. Chip has a great time at 4 Paws because he is always exhausted and in a great mood when I pick him up. My puppy has been going to 4 paws for over a year, the staff is amazing - they all know him and provide great, friendly service. They really care about your dog and are always super helpful. The few times my dog got a little rambunctious they were great about letting me now. Brody just loves going to daycare to have fun with his friends and get out some energy!

I started bringing my 2 year old beagle rescue here a few weeks ago and she really seems to love it. The staff genuinely seem to love the dogs and I know she’s being taken good care of. It’s helped her socialization with other dogs and people too. Also glad to have an option where she can be boarded at the same place when needed.

This is truly an amazing place to take your dog for socialization, playful, exercise, and safe boarding. I have seen tremendous benefits for my senior lab mix who needed two CCL surgeries one on each leg. The second one did not go so well and the vet thought that they would need to re-operate. We chose to try to strengthen his legs by exercising him. Once he was strong enough, I decided to try out Dogtopia to allow him to run around and play with other dogs to see how this would help. After enrolling him into Dogtopia Play-school, he was able to exercise and run around with the dogs during the day which I attest allowed him to recover without another operation! He is now as active as he was when he was a puppy and is fully recovered from his second surgery! I cannot thank the owners and their staff enough for everything they have done to help my dog recover and have a safe place to socialize and board with other dogs. They pay close attention to your pets needs and group dogs together with like-minded pups to encourage play at your dog’s pace wherever they are in their life. I highly recommend you stop by for a consultation visit and see for yourself how much fun and how healthy Dogtopia is for your pups!

The staff are very attentive. My dog isn't much of a "dog's dog," but she LOVES her Dogtopia people. I love the special tou he's like the themed pictures and daily treats. Pricing is great, and spa services are well timed. My dog comes home so very happy after each boarding experience. Staff makes everything so easy!

Dogtopia of Chesterfield is excellent! My girlfriend takes her 2 dogs here, and they take excellent care of Zoey and Logan. Logan loves the pool, and Zoey loves all the play and naps her little heart can cram in a day. The chance to play with lots of dogs has helped them both tremendously with socialization and their high energy. I've thing I really like about their setup is that they have several rooms, with different energy levels, so if your pup is a little shy or high energy, they'll be moved around to a room that matches their energy. If you have a high energy dog, or one that could use more time around dogs to learn how to "dog", I highly recommend Dogtopia, both the Chesterfield and Midlothian locations

I really love it so far. It feels affordable for what is offered and the care and attention the dogs receive. The staff learned my dog’s name fairly quickly, gave me feedback on her behavior and experience in the first week, and I love that there’s a 2 hr rest period for ALL the dogs. I feel like my dog is safe and cared for.

They keep the dog area very clean and the staff are very friendly. I had Max a German Shepard brushed out they did an excellent job. Max loves it there.

My dog was attacked here and nothing was ever communicated to me the whole time. Huge lack of accountability on the staff and management let me know they have too many dogs to do anything about it. They told me he was “playing hard”

I love how all of the staff treats my dog as if it were their own. My dog is always overly anxious when I pull into their driveway and can't wait to go inside. I love the treat days and fun things their do every month and especially the activity calendar which shows all they do to make the dogs happy. I love the hours they are open that fits into any schedule. I love the bath days as it makes it easy to keep my dog clean. The extra services offered are extremely helpful for the dog owner. I love the extra things Dogtopia does for the neighborhood schools and shelters and gives the dog owners the opportunity to participate in the giving which is a feel good moment. This five star review is for the groomer at Pets at Play (can’t speak to daycare or boarding, as I’ve never done either). I have a 9 year old doodle and trust me, finding a groomer who is not only willing to groom your doodle but also does it well and with a good attitude (many get annoyed) is rare. I always leave happy! He does a great job and in my experience $100 for ~the works~ is affordable. So glad to have found him!

Our little dog loves boarding here. She plays with her little dog friends and gets meals on time. Grooming here is first rate. We bring her in every six weeks. There's a new groomer and he's great

My dog loves Pets at Play! I have been taking Ollie to Pets at Play for daycare, overnight boarding and grooming for over a year now. He is a sweet but sensitive dog. Pets at Play is the only dog boarding and grooming place in RVA that he enjoys going to and being at. The groomer is always very thoughtful about grooming Ollie the way I like. She called me before she groomed Ollie just to confirm she knew what I wanted from his cut. Very blessed to have Pets at Play in our lives

When I tell you my baby loves this place!!! He is a mamma's boy, if he doesn't know you he will not go near you. BUT when we come to Pets at Play he runs right through the door to the day care and grooming! He comes home tired from day care so I know he is playing and having fun!!

Only been here a few times but I am now a loyal customer! They must be doing something right, because now every time I walk my dog he tries to pull me in the direction of Pets At Play. He is so ecstatic every time we go, I am starting to bring him there just for fun in addition to out of necessity! Do note: if your dog is over 70 lbs they won’t be able to be boarded overnight due to kennel sizes, but they do wonderfully accommodating larger dogs in daycare! My pup loves Pets At Play!

Came here for their grooming services and was not disappointed! They were polite and informative when I called with questions and were super friendly in person. And they made my pup adorable! Will definitely return for future grooming services and daycare services.

My westie,, Tucker loves this place to play. I think he has a girlfriend there. They are kind, courteous and true animal lovers. This is the only place he’ll play with other dogs as he never plays outside my home with any other dogs male or female.

I booked grooming for my dog a month ago and was very clear (in writing) about his large size (~100 pounds) - they even said it was fine in writing. I drove 40 minutes to get there and as soon as I was pulling into my neighborhood after drop off, the groomer called to say that my dog was too heavy to fit on the table/a leg of the table was breaking. He made sure to mention that it was not my dog's fault at all/he was fine. He said he has been trying to get new equipment for grooming from management but they're refusing. What type of table doesn't hold 100 pounds? I drove for 2 hours total between 7:00am and 9:00am all because they couldn't provide the groomer the correct equipment to provide grooming services to my dog. It's not his fault in my opinion, but if he knew that size would be an issue, they should have let me know well in advance, as I had booked it a month ago. My dog used to go to Pets at Play about two years ago and there were not issues then (and he was around the same weight). Very disappointed in the lack of communication and lack of resources to provide grooming services. A word of advice to management: do not advertise grooming for dogs of all sizes/approve grooming for larger dogs if you cannot actually do it.

We used to be faithful Pets at Play customers for over 3 1/2 years, having taken our 4 year old since she was a puppy, and our 6 month old for a solid year at least two days a week for each. Over that time, we’ve provided them thousands of dollars in revenue, somewhere around $8k-$9k between daycare, baths and the occasional boarding. In March of 2019, we sent our older dog in for her regular daycare appointment and requested she get a bath and her nails trimmed. When we got her home, we noticed she was licking her paw quite a bit and saw one of her nails was badly damaged, split, and beginning to ooze pus. No one at Pets at Play called or told us her nail was damaged, even though they said her nails were cut. We emailed the owner with our concerns and received a call back from an employee, who specifically told me she was calling as to not cause any confusion, but they could not get their story straight. To me, it sounds like they didn’t want a paper trail of any potential responsibility. One person said the nails were cut, then the groomer said they did not need to be cut. If the nails got cut, why did no one tell us they damaged her nail? If they did not need to get cut, that obviously means you checked them all, right? And if you saw one was damaged, why were we never told? Whatever the case, our dog went to daycare just fine, but left with a badly damaged nail which required sedation and surgery the next day to the tune of $275 in vet bills. Whether our dog’s nails were cut, Pets at Play was negligent at best, and deceptive at worst in trying to conceal or claim ignorance of her injury. Finally, to add insult to injury (literally), I went into their online system that weekend to cancel the next two daycare reservations (because our dog needed to be at home to recover from surgery), and they had deleted all of her reservations for the next year without telling us. I never said anything to them, so why would they delete our standing reservations? It doesn’t seem like a good business practice to alienate loyal customers as we have been for years. The way Pets at Play treated our dog, my wife and me is no way to treat loyal customers. We’ve always enjoyed taking our dogs to Pets at Play for daycare and boarding, but I no longer have any faith in how they treat us or our dogs. We will not be returning, nor can I recommend their services.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful PETs at PLAY is! Dixie knows when I say "want to go see your friends" exactly where she is going and doesn't even look back when we hit the door! That is how I know, PETs at PLAY is the absolute BEST. Dixie has only ever stayed the night in her entire 11 years with my parents, PETs at PLAY and me. I LOVE the emailed pictures throughout the day of her literally smiling and having fun! I am particular because she is such an important part of my life and choosing a daycare and place to board seemed impossible until we experienced PETs at PLAY. Dixie's excitement when talking about, going to and spending time here is exactly why PETs at PLAY will be the only place we go!

Our dogs LOVE Pet Paradise - Chesterfield. The staff is very familiar with all of the dogs and give individual attention, even during group play time. Our pups even have their favorite staff in Paige, Taylor, Josh, Rowan & Rebecca. They are like their second family and we wouldn't trust our pups to anyone else. We absolutely love when they come home with pictures for the day.

Took our dogs here for the first time last week. Their customer service is incredible. Facility was clean. They called with a concern that has about one of our dogs limping. They sent pictures. When we picked them up they gave us a report card on both dogs. They nailed our dogs temperaments. We wanted to board our dogs for a 10 day trip but in order for your dog to get a lot of play time you have to pay for a day pass as well as the boarding fee which would be $88 a day. That's steep! We decided to go elsewhere. We may use them for an overnight or weekend trip in the future.

I had such high hopes with this facility and was so disappointed. The communication in the beginning was wonderful, they were flexible and it was easy to add an extra day when we decided to leave a day early to visit family out of state. Two days before we were to drop our dog off at 6:30am, they called me to go over a few things and let me ask questions which I thought was great! I was told that I could arrive 10 to 15 minutes early if I needed to ask any further questions. On this call, I did outright say that we will be 10 hours away and needed to know the policy if we couldn’t make it back by 7pm to get her in time. I was told to just call them, they’d charge an extra day and it would be no big deal. On the day we drop her off, we get to Pet Paradise at 6:10am which I understand was a little earlier than planned since they said to arrive 10-15 minutes early and her reservation drop off was at 6:30am. We knocked on the door and the two girls inside completely ignored us. We decided to just walk our dog around for ten minutes to kill time before our 10 hour drive when one of the girls came outside, went to her car, and pretended we weren’t there before going back inside and locking the door. I knocked again and was ignored again. We stood outside with our dog and six year old daughter for ten more minutes before a very rude woman finally opened the door and let us in. She had known we were out there the entire time. I explained that I was told to arrive early to ask questions and she kind of waved me off. Because of the promotion they were doing for first timers, I verified that the grooming and Furever Connect was on the schedule for my dog for free. She said it was and that I’d be receiving a picture of my dog every day which I appreciated since this was my first time boarding her and she’s just 11 months old. I’ve had her since she was a baby and thought they’d take very good care of her. We go on our trip and I wasn’t receiving any pictures as I was told. I called multiple times every day to only get the voicemail, none of them were returned, and on the third day, I finally got someone to answer and she said I was misinformed and I was only going to get pictures on one day. I had checked the website and the board in the lobby and it said Furever Connect was a “DAILY communication package”. I was too irritated to get into it with the woman since it was too late at that point. I needed to contact them again because we weren’t going to make it back on time to get our dog the day we planned. I had to call multiple times a day for two more days before I finally reached someone to let them know because I didn’t want to be a customer who just doesn’t come get their dog and not tell them. They extended her stay by one more day and we finally get home to pick her up. My dog, being 11 months old, is very bubbly, energetic, and doesn’t have a bad bone in her body. When she got home, all she wanted to do was sleep and was incredibly scraped up. Her two front paws had bloody scrapes and so did the backs of her legs. I expected some of that since she’d be playing with a lot of other dogs but one of them looked like another dog took a chunk out of her skin. She was also NOT groomed. She came home very dirty and her nails weren’t cut. Again, I get that it was for free and I didn’t pay for the service, but with the lack of communication and not receiving what I told I would and the condition my dog was in when she got home? I’d never board her here again. Edited to add: our dog now has kennel cough and so does our older dog who has to be taken to the vet today, despite all dogs being required to have the vaccination for bordatella.

I am not one to leave reviews, but I felt it was necessary after the experience I had leaving my GSD here for 4 days and 3 nights. My dog stayed in the VIP suites (his first time ever boarding). I monitored his room camera consistently to see how he was adapting. The first night Maverick had an accident in his room, due to being potty trained on grass. After having to walk in his own bowel movements due to his size and the room not being very big… Maverick’s paws got the bedding dirty. He had to lay on that bedding through out the night and next day. Maverick was signed up for day Camp that morning and was never evaluated. I called 3x with the phone going to voicemail and leaving a voice message. I had a previous Regional Manager call on my behalf due to No response from my voicemail. I expressed my concerns about still seeing his dirty bedding in his room and Maverick not being taken to camp. I also noticed his food bowl was only in his room for about an hour. My dog grazes and does not eat much as is, especially when he is stressed. So this gave him no time to eat. I called to change his feeding to 3x a day to give him more opportunity to eat after learning they don’t “free feed.” I packed him 9 bags of dry food and 4 cans of wet food. He came home with 4 bags of dry food and 2 cans of wet food. Which means he was not fed properly. He should of came home with NO food, even if he didn’t eat it all which was expected. The second day he was there after day camp, he was brought back to his room with his run door closed. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after 3 hours of this… I texted for them to go open his run door. When I picked him up from his stay, there was a pile of feces in his run that I could see from the lobby. When receiving his belongings back there was a brand new $40 bag of freeze dried treats missing. Luckily I checked this before leaving the parking lot. I worked at Holiday Barn Pet resort as a teenager, so I am very aware of the level of care that should be provided. Holiday Barn’s care is completely unmatched compared to this. I was trying something new since Pet Paradise is the newest Boarding facility in our area, but I soon regretted my decision. I was trying to enjoy a mini vacation at the beach for my mother’s death anniversary, but couldn’t due to worrying about my boy. I was very agitated spending $425 for the level of care he received.

I was out of state for a funeral, with my dogs, and needed a place for my dogs during the funeral. They took my dogs in for a few hours and it didn’t cost me anything with the “first visit free” special!! My dog must have played pretty hard because when we got back to the hotel they were all tuckered out. 😂 I now plan to travel with my dogs a lot more and will definitely come back to a Pet Paradise again!! Even thought it won’t be free. 😉

Skye is absolutely amazing! She is the only groomer I trust with my little Simba, and every time we visit, she goes above and beyond to make sure he feels comfortable and cared for. Skye takes her time, ensuring that Simba gets a thorough groom, including nail grinding and ear cleaning, and he always looks fantastic afterward. If you're looking for a groomer who will treat your pet like family, Skye is the one to go to!

Great place for all or half day 'dog daycare'. Buzzby was there for 1/2 day yesterday and came home happy and tired. I'm definitely going to schedule another one. Maybe 1x/week going fwd. 😁 …

Pet Paradise has lacked in customer service since I've been coming there. My mini poodle gets grooming about every 6 to 8 weeks. The last several time, I've had to call to see if she is ready. They say. Oh yeah, she's done. No call or text. Yesterday, 6/17/24, after 3 hours I called, had to leave a VM. After a few minutes I called back, they said it would be another hour. As usual when I did get a call to pick her up, no one is at the front desk. I can hear people talking behind the wall. After about 3 minutes someone helps me. Today, 6/18/24, a day later I get a call back from the day before. Sandy is who called me. Very rude and doesn't have a care about customer service. When I voiced my concern, she replied, well sounds like you have made up your mind not to come back. So no need to discuss anything. And that she is always at the front desk...not the case *update. The manager did call me. I explained more in detail of my experiences the last several visits. I was given a credit to use, if I choose to return. Thank you!

Bugsy loves going to Four Paws on Hamilton Street in Richmond! They are very kind and gentle with him when we arrive. The staff eased him into the yard during his first visit. Now, he can't wait to play with all of his new doggie friends and it seems that when it's time to go home he wants to stay longer. I feel at ease knowing he is with people who care so much about the doggies under their care!

Since moving to the area, Four Paws has been such a gift for me and my golden. She is always eager to jump out of the car and run inside when she realizes we are heading there for daycare. It is so convenient to be able to board her there as well, with people, pets, and surroundings she is comfortable and familiar with. When it comes to our pet needs, there’s no one we trust more than the kind and helpful staff at Four Paws in the Fan 🙂

My dog Dexter has been going to Four paws fan location since he was a puppy. I love the fact that he gets to play all day, unlike some daycares that keep them caged most of the day. Dex loves it there. It’s his second favorite place to be (home is first of course). The employees are very nice, but most importantly, I like the way they treat Dexter.

I cannot say enough about how incredible the staff at Four Paws is. My sweet boy is an anxious guy and he absolutely loves going to hang out at daycare. Emma, Bailey, and Ericka have always been so welcoming and informative - we’re very grateful to have found them after moving to the area.

I have been pleasantly surprised by Four Paws! Their Hamilton St. location is just down the street from my new job. I took our Bichon, Finn, there for day care because we had just moved to the area and I wasn't sure about leaving him home all day. They took great care of him and he seemed happy at the end of the day. I also just recently used their boarding services when we went out of town for a few days. Again, they took great care of him. The staff are very friendly and genuinely love dogs. :-) I always know that Finn is in good hands there. I also appreciate their very reasonable and affordable prices. Four Paws is 100% Finn-approved! (see attached picture)

We just started here and love it! My dog, noodles, has come home so tired in the best way when I pick her up! Also love they have an indoor area for rainy days.

My pup has been going to Four Paws for almost a year now and he loves it! He only goes a twice a week for daycare, but as soon as we pull into the parking lot his tail starts going crazy and he's itching to go play with all his friends. We also board him here when we travel out of town and it gives me such a peace of mind to know that he's playing constantly when I'm gone and being cared for so well. All the staff is so kind and easy to work with!

I have taken way too long to leave this review! WE LOVE FOUR PAWS! Angus has so much fun and gets to run and play for hours on end. The first day we brought him, they managed to convince him to let them cut his nails (and charged nothing for the first time), which was 1) an amazing first impression and 2) a huge relief for a dog mom tired of wrestling with a 65 pound scaredy cat. He left that day completely tuckered out, which was beautiful. They send pictures often and give updates on how his day went whenever I come to pick him up. Such sweet humans, and a service worth every penny. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love 4 paws!! They take the best care of my dog nacho! He even has regular doggy friends that he hangs out with at day care :)

First would like to thank Martin and Marissa for an amazing job while watching my puppy over the week ! Had a business trip last minute I had to go on and with none of my family being able to watch my puppy I decided to try out Joyful Jitters.
