Excellent care of our family dog! Extremely friendly and helpful and our dog loved every minute here! Then taken home to be looked after in family home which is brilliant. We could enjoy our holiday knowing he was well looked after. So good, he’s already booked in again! Thank you

I am never normally happy with leaving my little chihuahua, but seeing how happy and excited she is when we arrive is so nice. All the team are lovely and the dogs are so well looked after, they literally treat them as their own. Can not recommend enough.

I was so nervous about sending my puppy to doggy day care. However it’s the best choice I’ve made, my miniature dachshund absolutely loves it, pictures and updates are provided throughout the day! He comes back happy but exhausted too from all the playing! He’s made lots of friends and I could not recommend them enough. They also provide a pick up and drop off service which makes things a lot easier for me! Thank you all!🫶

Pugs and Pals, where can I start ? Our rescue Loki has been going regularly for just shy of a year now & the team at P&P have been so patient and welcoming of Loki. They have really helped him socialise in a safe, calm way with other dogs & humans! They are great with Loki when we’ve needed extra support , or odd days here and there. We receive regular updates & photos of Loki enjoying his time at daycare. Forever thankful to the team at Pugs and Pals.

Always leave out golden with pugs and pals when we go on holiday. He absolutely loves it there and we can relax knowing the he is loved and well looked after. So amazed at the day care centre it’s absolutely incredible and unique. Had some fantastic pictures of his having so much fun. Would highly recommend. Thank you so much guys ❤️

Pugs and Pals Daycare is absolutely wonderful. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I know my dog is safe and well cared for here by well trained staff. And he comes back absolutely pooped! With regular photos and updates I have not a single worry he’s being looked after and loved. Highly recommend over and over again! X

Absolutely brilliant, so friendly and loving towards my Rupert. I use a activity tracker on my dog and this is the most active and adventurous I've seen him at a daycare. The daily photos are also so lovely

What a truly wonderful place. We have been using Pugs and Pals for a year now and I cannot fault them. Professional, fun, and a clear love and care for all dogs in their care. I cannot recommend these wonderful humans enough.

My pooch loves it, he gets a play day, I don't have to worry about him, they get taken to a paddock so can run off lead in a secure environment, he gets a lovely day playing with friends and comes home nicely worn out. Amazing place and lovely people.

Really good friendly service at a good price

Gentian hill pet hotel have been looking after our two greyhounds for three years now, and what an awesome job they do. Jack absolutely loves running around with his sister Willow, and also both love being fussed over by all staff especially willow. They always come home absolutely worn out for at least a week. Our dogs are treated so well, and it's like they're the only two at hotel, because from the time they arrive, they know as do we, they're in safe hands. We can't recommend this place for your pets enough. All animals get treated like royalty. The place from car park to reception is clean, tidy and little treats in reception. The transfer from animals going in and out is extremely smooth. Staff are always so courteous and friendly. They always put us at ease if we have issues, which I must add we haven't ever had issues. They post videos or photos of all your babies, so you can see them having fun. Thank you for looking after our two babies, we always send you photos back to their crash out state after. We highly recommend it for your pets.

Our experience with Gentian was excellent. We had our dog groomed b4 his stay at Gentian so he smelled and looked gorgeous, when we picked him up after 10 days stay, he looked and smelled exactly the same. All the equipment we sent him was washed and clean and Max looked happy and healthy. Staff were extremely friendly and supportive.

I was so nervous leaving our dogs in kennels for the first time , especially as one is quite anxious! They have come back to us their usual happy and bouncy selves. I won’t be so worried next time, the only place I will trust with my fur babies. Thankyou all staff for taking such good care of them.

Our 3 Dachshunds had an amazing time at Gentian Hill Pet Hotel. This was the first time that we’ve used a kennel, and the team there were fantastic and answered any questions or concerns that we had. One of our boys is super anxious, and needs medications for this - and this was no trouble at all. It was great seeing the Facebook updates, and seeing them really enjoy themselves. We’re super thankful for the team there, and will happily use them again.

On Eddie's behalf we would like to say a huge 'thank you🤗' to the staff at Gentian Hill, Eddie appeared a happy boy and we're so glad he was well cared for. Gentian hill pet hotel has been a fantastic home from home for our boy. He's an XXL dog and they homed him in one of the biggest kennels. He had a paddock to roam free in and wasn't mixed with any other dog. Which wouldn't be a problem with him as he's friendly and socialised, however you don't want your dog being given a bad experience of meeting another dog when your not there. So this is fantastic for that. He was the happiest boy being dropped off and picked up. Smooth transition on both occasions. He will be returning many times going forward. They are fantastic!

Staff were really brilliant with our nervous rescue dog. Her medicines were all administered perfectly, along with a little something to make them palatable! The video and photos taken during her stay showed us that Tiggy was very relaxed and her usual bouncy self. Staff are exceptionally helpful and caring, and the kennels are kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. Dogs have fun staying here.

Our pup Lola had been a regular with Pampurred Pet for almost 2 years before their move down to Plymouth and they were fantastic. Mark and Graham were very attentive to her needs - being a shy rescue at first, great with contact and amazing at helping us out when last minute plans arose. Lola always had a great time and came home knackered from long walks and playing with all her friends (photos are of her post day care). I would highly recommend them to anyone :)

Graham and Mark have been really good for Lottie, who is loving her walks with them. She can be a bit reactive with other dogs but they are not phased when out with her, which is reassuring for us and she aways comes back happy. They have been really accommodating, which has been a blessing especially when, at short notice, we needed someone to walk her daily when we were going away on holiday. I highly recommend Pampurred Pet if you need a dog walker.

Graham and Mark looked after my sprocker since he was a puppy. I can’t recommend them enough Alfie loved going there for the day and would sometimes stay over at night time as well. They were always very accommodating can’t thank them enough for the time they looked after him. The only reason he no longer goes to their dog boarding is because they moved too far away. Thank you both for all your help with Alfie.

Our shichon Murphy has been a regular with Graham and Mark since he was a tiny pup! He absolutely loved his visits and came home tired and content, such a relief to not have to worry about him when we were away! Highly recommend!

Our Labrador puppy Hector is having a fantastic time at daycare with Graham and Mark. He’s always excited to see them and comes home happy and tired out from walks and playing. It’s such a relief to have found Pampurred Pets and we would highly recommend them :)

Mark and Graham are lovely! Always so accommodating, nothing is ever too much trouble. They kept in touch all the time, which was lovely. Our German Shepherd was always super happy to see them and had the best time with them, out on walks and chasing squirrels 😆 …

Highly recommend. Lovely people - our dog was always so happy to see them and spend time with them. For 6 years before moving to Plymouth they walked our dog. If we needed to go away he stayed with them and they checked/fed our cat. They are definitely missed here in Dorset!

From our first meeting with Graham and Mark, we felt at ease that they were truly interested in looking after dogs and it wasn't just a business. Whenever we mentioned their names, our dog would be so excited to go and see them. We were devastated to lose them but our loss is Plymouths gain.

Graham and Mark have looked after our border collie x Schrodie since he was a pup, and have learnt his mad and peculiar ways over the years. They’ve been a godsend, always reliable, happy to help at short notice, and always go the extra mile for our furbaby……..and us! Schrodie is now eight years old and missing his friends since they moved to Devon! We’re very jealous of Plymouth as you now have an awesome pet sitting service, but Schrodie is looking forward to his holiday in Devon to see his old friends!

Mister Paws has to be one of the best people to look after your dog. Our dog absolutely loved going out with him and would get so excited when he saw his van pull up. We have moved out of Plymouth now and he is really missed! He is really reliable, trustworthy and friendly! Our dog became a lot more confident around others from going out on group walks. Mister Paws is someone who loves what he does and his passion for dogs shines through. Thank you for being so amazing!

Mr Paws 🐾 aka Phil is absolutely fantastic, our pup Scout loves his time with him and the other dogs, be it dog walks or doggy day care. He has the best time and is always super excited when the van pulls up, he barely gives me chance to get the front door open 🤣 Phil clearly loves dogs and the feeling is mutual. He’s also friendly, reliable and flexible. Hard to imagine trusting Scout with anyone else now. Highly highly recommended.

Mister Paws has been popping in to see our puppy twice a week while we are at work and he has been brilliant. We get updates of how she is doing while he takes her out to the toilet and plays with her. Would highly recommend Mister Paws to any and everyone!

I left my Springer spaniel with Mister Paws on short notice, I was welcomed and Bailey seemed to settle quickly. I collected him the next day and was surprised that he was contented and happy. I know in future that I can leave him in good care knowing he will be well looked after. I would highly recommend Mister Paws.

From start to finish, the Mister Paws service offers 5 star quality.Our beloved Labrador had a rocky start in life and only came to us at the age of two and a half. She had various difficulties to resolve and, as a result, we had taken only one week's holiday in seven and a half years. A recent close family responsibility meant that we were compelled to be away for five days and needed a dog boarder that we could trust and rely on to look after our girl as we did. Mr Paws came by way of a personal recommendation but I still felt it essential to satisfy myself. Phil's (the owner of Mr Paws) advance preparation visit was so thorough that it was immediately clear that this would be no ordinary service and the overnight trial he offered provided us with the assurance we needed. So much was impressive: the limits Phil places on the number of dogs he will take at any one time in order that he can supply what emerged as a bespoke service with each dog receiving individual care and attention; the detailed questionnaire he completes on his advance visit establishing our dog's needs; his understanding and patience with her idiosyncrasies; and the home from home in his delightful family who supply all the love and attention any dog could want. Our girl loved them all - and Phil in particular. I suspect that he may well be a "dog whisperer" as there was a clear bond between him and each of the dogs we met when both leaving and collecting our own. Indeed, it took two days for her to accept that her wonderful holiday with 'adventures' and canine company and unceasing attention - and Phil - was over.

Beach Buddies have been looking after our dog, Bruce, for over 5 years and the fact he gets beyond excited as we turn into their road speaks volumes. It truly is home from home and the love and attention he receives is outstanding. Our dog is family and finding the right care is so important. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Booked our 2 dogs, toyah (Yorkshire terrier) and monty (labradoodle) in for the day. 01/07/21 found clare to be very knowledgeable, caring and very helpful. If your on holiday and need someone to look after your dogs, I highly recommend beach buddies.

Disgusting behaviour of waiting till dog owners have flown out the country to then say they are kicking dog out...... Withholding money leaving owners in a very distressed state. Deletes reviews on page and any negative feedback which misleads people into be leaving they offer a 5* service. Absolutely shocking and disgusting behaviour from a business Have edited this as cannot respond to your reply.... I think you should take this up with the dog owner rather than assume I am the owner (which I'm not) ... The reason you state on here is not the reason they were given, this review is based on the way they have been treated and not given time to find alternative accommodation for him. And you do delete posts from your page as they have been removed and people blocked. There are always problems in business but the way they are delt with effects your reputation, maybe this should have been considered rather than leaving a family distressed 100's of miles away in another country the day after they fly out!

Barking Mad has been really great for our spaniel Rusty. The service is fantastic, and he always has a wonderful time with his hosts. As one of life's great worriers, I find this service is brilliant as we can go away knowing our boy is having a holiday too and it is so reassuring! Thank you Barking Mad team!

Cannot recommend Barking Mad enough, Rolo has had 2 fantastic holidays arranged by Carolyn and the team. He has been placed with 2 lovely sitters and has returned well looked after and loved. We would recommend this service to anyone needing a reliable dog sitter for their fur baby.

I used Barking Mad Plymouth for the second time last week for my dog Coco. Very professional, organised and friendly and reassured me that my Coco would be looked after. Thank you also to the host family. Has meant a lot. I will definitely use again.

We are very particular about where our dog stays when he's not with us. We've tried kennels, dog sitters etc but none compare with Barking Mad. He always comes home with a spring in his step, a wagging tail and totally unstressed. Caroline and Jennifer always ensure that the hosts who look after him understand his needs and temperament. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I have nothing but praise for barking mad. They have always gone above and beyond, even helping me out very last minute in an emergency situation. over the last couple of years my dogs have loved their time away and have been treated as one of the family. This is vital with having a bull terrier as they love people and cuddles. She comes back very happy and tail waggy.
