Hilary was a fantastic pet sitter for our cat - you would be so lucky to have her care for your pet and home. She took exceptional care of her and our home. Hilary played so much with her and took the best care. She was communicative, easy to coordinate with, and left everything super clean for us when we came back. Five stars is understating how extraordinary she was - we cannot recommend her enough!!
We are thoroughly pleased with and impressed by Daniel's kind, generous, and careful care of our cat and our house. He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. We highly recommend Daniel, and we ourselves would be thrilled to engage him again when the need arises.
Kimberly was a wonderful sitter who watched our two cats for us while we were out. She was willing to come a day early to help acclimate herself with the animals, and this was exceedingly helpful in making sure the cats would be comfortable with her during our absence. I would highly recommend Kimberly if you're looking for a responsible, caring sitter.
Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.
Windy & Dustin are some of my top go-tos! They are wonderful sitters who I can trust to take care of my cats and goats and love them like their own! They are so respectful of my house and are always flexible with me when plans change last minute.
We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.
Anna was a wonderful sitter for our furry friends. My dog, Luke, bonded with her and was sad when she left. My cats would crawl under the covers and curl up with her at night. She is a true animal magnet and lover. I highly recommend Anna to anyone who wants their pets to recieve first class love while away.
Florence was a great sitter for my cat Lily. I booked her a bit last minute, as a previous sitter had to cancel, but was very happy to have her. She was reliable, prompt to respond, and sent picture updates daily at my request. Judging by the pics, Lily warmed up to her nicely and they spent some lounging time together - which is high praise from a cat! Would recommend Florence for your next sit.
Lindsey watched our cat and dog for a long weekend when we went out of town. She was a very communicative sitter sending frequent pictures and voice notes with updates. She did a great job of following their schedules and giving them attention. The animals seemed to be happy and relaxed when we returned home and I believe Lindsey enjoyed getting to discover all of the eateries our town has to offer. A win-win for everyone!
Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. She gave thoughtful updates on my cat and I could tell she really enjoyed her, so that means the world to me! She left the place immaculate and we will certainly have Tonya back!

Had a reservation but after 40 min of having to regive the information due to "system" changes, despite verifying it earlier that day only few hours ago. One of the staff members that was sent to take my dog back immediately had an attitude and walked off saying "mobility issues". She came back with a manager of tried to find excuses as to why they would not take my senior dog, who can walk just fine unassisted. The lady with the attitude then stated "the issue is that she poops when they take her out then poops in her area and walks in it and makes a big mess". My response is so your not taking her because she's an inconvenience. The apparent manager claimed they were full and did not want to take senior dogs even after the reservation was confirmed that morning. I am working with corporate and filing a complaint because this is unacceptable. I wasted my time and would never recommend this place to anyone. I also have reason to believe my dog was abused by the same lady that complained about her accident. Her paws were bleeding pretty bad and that never happened before. I believe she stomped on my dogs paws. Update** Corporate contacted me and I was informed they would be getting retrained/evaluated and that they are a dog loving place and that the chance of abuse is low. It's 2 different reasons on why she may have possibly had bleeding paws but it is something they will look into. They also gave me a gift card to use at the store.
So my son had an appointment to drop his dog off at the Columbia pets mart hotel. However very unprofessional and I know they did that because my son was young. They try to say his dog didn’t have all of his shots. And because I could go with him to drop him off they wouldn’t take him. After I had to find someone else to watch my sons dog while we go on vacation. They don’t ever have to worry about us anymore we will start early to find another place. O believe me I will be calling back on there next business day. Sorry as workers. I will never use this place ever again unprofessional staff. From calling speaking to the line that does the appointments to the person that handles the check in.
Our go-to boarding place for our cat. He comes home happy, and they take good care of him and provide a report card. They also take him to the Banfield veterinarian across the store if necessary, and keep us informed via phone calls if there are any issues. Great experiences on at least six stays so far over the years!
My experience today has been the worst ever! I called ahead to ask that all of my dog's food and items be ready for pickup, along with my dog. Well, I just discovered that his wet food is not in his bag. It was not mentioned that he was out of wet food which should not have been the case because I left extra cans. Now I have to drive back out to Columbia to pick up his food as well as get an overcharge payment resolved. I was charged twice and no one seems to know what to do in the hotel. Daniel, the store manager was very helpful in getting my issue resolved and I await the credit to my banking acct. soon. The issue with the hotel staff seems to be a training opportunities and possible understaffing, even though they were very kind. The time it took to check out was unacceptable. Again, in over 10 years of having my dog stay here, today was a major glitch! Hopefully this will not be a pattern going forward.
Everything about the boarding/doggie day camp for this place is solid. Not much above and beyond and you get exactly what you think. HOWEVER, the "grooming" services have been consistently bad. The bath appears to be a rush job at the end and oh my god with the claw clipping. I have tried 3-4 different ways of asking them to trim my dog's nails (she's a slightly larger dog with thick nails, so a grind is normal and expected). I've asked and clarified and asked for noted to be added about actually CLIPPING the nails (ya know....removing length...). It's happened once. One time have my dog's nails actually been markedly shorter than when I dropped her off. I know because that one time is what resulted in my having them do it the next time...and fail...and again. Now, no more. Because they definitely don't have a problem still making me pay for it. The last time? The employee who brought the dog out looked at them when I scoffed (he hadn't seen them when I brought her in). He offered a refund because they "sure didn't look cut" to him either. TL;DR: doggie boarding/day camp good. Anything grooming? Bad.
Good, reliable pet boarding and day care. I've been using this location for 5 years and have not had any issues with either of my dogs. I also think this is an affordable option for boarding with playtime during the day.
I love this place. Whenever we go on long vacations we book with PetsHotel. They’ve always been great with communicating any issues and my dog seems to love his time here.
I’ve boarded my dog here 3 times and have no complaints.
Poorly managed and sanitized. My dog, leash and everything smells bad after the visit. Easy to make appointments and generally spots are available most of the times
We've used this PetsHotel many times now and have been so happy with them every time - great communication before and after 😊 …
This is one of the best and most amazing dog schools I have ever had the pleasure to come across. They continue to develop their craft and offer a variety of powerful tools for your canine companion in areas of training, body conditioning, and more. The owners and staff care deeply and strive for success.
Coventry school has wonderful staff and trainers. Teddy just completed puppy kindergarten and it was very beneficial and a lot of fun.
We love Coventry! My dog is always so excited to walk through the doors. The staff is wonderful and show love/kindness to all the dogs they encounter. The trainers have been a great help and are always available for questions.
Love this place! I've been taking my dog here for classes and their day camp program for almost a year, since he was a puppy. The trainers and staff are all wonderful and highly knowledgeable. I LOVE that they exclusively use positive reinforcement based training, free of any physical or psychological intimidation. I can tell it makes for a stronger bond between me and my dog, much more fun and happiness for him, and much stronger and reliable behaviors as well. The classes are also small enough that the trainers can really observe and provide individual assistance, which is great since the classes usually have such a big variety of dogs. I absolutely love taking him to the day camp program, as it is difficult for me to provide my dog with all the socialization, exercise, and mental engagement all on my own. But he always comes home from day camp well exercised, mentally and physically, and we can see from pictures and videos that he has a long day of fun with the other dogs and staff. He is always appropriately paired with dogs of similar size and temperament, and supervised by the staff at all times as well. They also get to know all the dogs very well, and surprised us with how much detail they notice with him and are able to report back. It's great to find a place I can completely trust to handle my dog. It is obvious he has a great time, as every time we bring him there, he can't wait to go in!
Earlier this year I rescued my mutt, Mushu. He has a sad past and was just fearful of the world. After he got comfortable in his new home, it was evident he needed some manners! We signed up for Beginners 100 with Johanna. Mushu has learned SO much and absolutely adored coming to class every week. Johanna was an excellent teacher who clearly knows dog behavior. She provided so much insight and advice custom to my dog. I would recommend her and The Coventry School to anyone! We look forward to taking more classes. Thanks for the help!
I am very comfortable leaving my 9 month old Golden at Covington.. He can't wait to get in the front door. The staff treats him like he is their dog. At the end of the day it's clear he got a lot of exercise. He falls asleep in the car and takes a long nap when we get home. I highly recommend the Coventry School for Doggie Daycare. Rick Potocek
I brought my dog for the beginner training class and fell in love. Wonderful facilities and great trainers. I really felt that both me and my dog learned something from that beginner class. We're excited for the next steps we can take at Coventry.
Coventry is an incredible place to take your dogs for day camp and training. The team there is absolutely amazing. They are very focused on your fur babies and providing you with a great sense of relief that they are well taken care of. Special shout out to everyone on the day camp team, Lauren, Rachel (trainer) and Stacey (trainer). You guys are just amazing! Thank you!
Highly recommend Coventry! We’ve been taking Nosework classes with Vinny for several years and love it. He’s a patient, flexible, and outstanding teacher.
Excellent dog training center and daycare. They offer a ton of different kinds of group classes including basic obedience, tricks, treiball, nose work, fit dog, kranky k9s etc. My dog loves daycare here so much she whines if I take too long to get her out of the car and again if we have to wait in line for her to be dropped off. My dog gets so excited when she realizes where we are. 10/10 would highly recommend.
Exceptional Care and Outstanding Service at Stay Pet We recently boarded our dog, King, at Stay Pet while we went on an extended cruise. It was King’s first time being boarded for an extended period, and unfortunately, he didn’t take to it as well as we had hoped. However, the Stay Pet team was nothing short of amazing. They kept a close eye on King, monitoring his moods, mannerisms, and any changes in his temperament. It was incredibly reassuring to know that they were taking care of King just as we would. When it became clear that boarding wasn't the best fit for King, the team at Stay Pet didn’t hesitate to suggest alternatives. We ended up switching him to daycare, which suited him much better. Throughout the entire process, Stay Pet offered us options, including veterinary care, to ensure King was comfortable and well-cared for. The team’s dedication and attention to detail made all the difference. We truly felt like they went above and beyond to take care of our family. If you’re looking for a place that treats your pets like their own, I can’t recommend Stay Pet enough. They are the best for a reason!
My dog, Zeke has been going to STAY for ten years. He comes for daycare and boarding. Zeke loves it there! Everyone is so kind and friendly and they always take care of my guy. We wouldn't go anywhere else!
Such a wonderful place to take your pups for daycare and boarding. They really look out for their customers and their pets - our corgis literally leap out of the car each time we take them. Probably the best parts are the people and the villas - the garden villas have 24/7 wifi cameras and the staff do a great job of showing genuine tlc.
I have used staypet a few times to board my dogs. They are seniors that don’t tolerate playing with other dogs much anymore so I like that stay pet allows the option for no daycare. I had access to the webcam during my last 2 week vacation and saw that my dogs were well taken care of. Plus I have 1 14 year old dog that a lot of boarding places in the area wouldn’t take due to her age, but stay pet was very accommodating. Recommend for other helicopter dog parents like me who have dogs with special needs
Absolutely wonderful! Had a last minute boarding for my cat and it was super painless to sign up, and they took great care of my baby. She was purring on the way home and hopped back in her carrier after like she was ready to go back and hang out more. I will absolutely be bringing Rixha back!
I cannot express how much we love stay pet! We use all of their services - weekly daycare, boarding, grooming, and the vet. We have very large dogs that are sometimes difficult to care for, but they absolutely adore stay pet. The staff love on our girls and always take the best care of them. I also have to sing HUGE praises to the vet staff. My Great Dane was having trouble at her current vet due to nervousness and Dr. K was so helpful in the transition (even pulling our dog out of daycare just to give her treats and pets so she would be more comfortable). Our Cane Corso recently had surgery performed at Stay Pet and Dr. K has kept in constant communication, texting to check in and very quickly responding to any questions I have. Loren, the vet tech, was extremely helpful in walking through all the after care instructions as well. Again, HIGHLY recommend!
We've been using Stay Pet for boarding our dogs while we're on vacation and have been very happy with the service. We also utilized their new veterinary service for the first time and strongly recommend it as well! The prices were very reasonable and the vet seemed knowledgeable, thorough and informative. When touring kennels in the area, Stay Pet stood out for many reasons: 1) The staff are always friendly and welcoming. They seem to genuinely love working with animals and it is appreciated that they know and greet our fur babies by their name. 2) The facilities are super clean and the boarding cages are a decent size, especially compared to other kennels. 3) The dogs get to play outside of their cages for a lot of the day, which is very important to us since we have two energetic huskies. 4) Their hours are convenient for working families. You can drop off as early as 6am and pick up by 7pm during weekdays. 5) We appreciate the thoroughness of their intake process, from verifying the vaccinations to having a trial evaluation day to make sure our dogs will feel comfortable there. 6) They upload photos of all the dogs playing on a daily basis and we really enjoy being able to see photos of our dogs having fun while we're away on vacation. One thing that can be improved is the communication. The phone number always goes to voicemail, although they do get back to you in a few hours if you leave a voicemail or a text message. We're very happy with Stay Pet and happy that we found our go-to place for boarding and daycare!
My dog has gone here for daycare weekly and boarding for almost a year now, and I wouldn't take him anywhere else! He is SO excited to jump out of the car and run in every day that I take him. We boarded him for a week and he was just as happy, and the vet there is great too. They communicate very well and are always available to answer questions.
My cat and dog both come here. My cat has been boarded here and my dog sees the vet. We LOVE Dr. K and the vet staff! Highly recommend this facility!!
So pleased with the grooming services here. A newf is not an easy job and I am rather picky I admit. I am grateful for their patience and understanding for my needs for his grooming. The facility is gorgeous and doesn’t smell like bleach or other things like other places do. The staff is professional and sweet. I really like them and think the groomers do a darn fine job with my boy. The prices are on point and they also like my dog 🖤😍.
