Don’t call Rover.. Call Sarah!!! I wish everyone were as reliable as Sarah’s team!! They are always there fur my German Shepherd and 2 kitty kats. My pets even appear younger, happier and very relaxed. My Sheppie is almost 8 and since Sarah’s team has been sitting for them, she is so playful and fun like a puppy!!! I am so grateful for all the time and attention they give.. And the pix they send!!! So creative and fabulous!!!! I feel so fortunate to have found these pet loving people!!!

Sarah and her team have been the best caretakers of our animals! We started out with one puppy and weekly walks and playdates for socialization and exercise. When we added another puppy, we added more walks and playdates. My doggies look forward to their time with Sarah, Monika and all the other excellent caregivers. The pics and commentary on their time away just makes my day!!

I cannot say enough about Sarah Sits-N-Stays! Look no further if you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies! We have been using Sarah's company since moving to Richmond in August 2022 and couldn't be happier. My partner and I have very hectic schedules, but we have never been unable to schedule a daily walk and lunch for our dog and cat (even sometimes at the last minute!). We have also used them for overnight visits during weekends we are away. We have never been concerned and always feel safe knowing Sarah's company is taking care of them. They even send pictures and updates every day summarizing their time together. Our dog Teddy is always happy (as you can see!) and well-exercised when we get home. Even our cat, who is not much of a "people person," has warmed up to the staff. We have had nothing but good experiences with all the walkers/sitters, but I would like to give a special shoutout to Madi who is our main walker. She is AMAZING and Teddy absolutely LOVES her! Seriously... look no further if you need a walker or sitter!

I have been using Sarah Sits-N-Stays for dog walking services ever since I adopted my dog last year. Sarah and all the walkers have been absolutely amazing. Sarah made sure my dog was paired with walkers who are comfortable with an energetic, young dog and my dog has gained so much confidence through her daily walks. The walkers are reliable, experienced and communicative. My dog and I are very thankful for all the help!

Could not be more pleased! I am a full time student. The walking schedule is tailored to mine and has been a lifesaver for me and my dog, Pippa! Sarah is organized and attentive—each walker sends an update and usually a picture of Pippa during walks/playtime. Everybody even gives my cat some love too! I highly recommend!

Finding Sarah Sits-N-Stays after moving to Richmond has been such a blessing for our little family! Our sitters have been so patient and understanding with our reactive dog, and always have great communication with us when we are out of town/when they are walking our dog. Our pup absolutely LOVES his dog walk and play time with Monika, our Sarah Sits ‘N Stays dog professional! Tucker, our dog, now literally knows the word “Monika” and “friends” and he gets SO excited when it’s time for his walk and play time! He knows the time and day and gets so happy when it’s closer to pick up. He always comes back tired, and if you have a hyper dog like we do, you know how crucial that is for your own sanity. They do such a good job of taking care of him and prioritize safety. They are also very flexible, when Tucker was having some stomach issues, they totally understood we needed to cancel. We started with Sarah Sits-N-Stays during the pandemic, figuring at least one person in our family should socialize. Since then, our doggo has had wonderful adventures every week and is SO excited to see the kind, capable folks who take him along. We're not too big on dogparks so Sarah Sits-N-Stays has keep our dog in the mix with other pups without stressing him (or me) out. I trust the team and love the updates they pass along after every visit. They definitely treat our pup with kindness and he couldn't be happier when he sees them. I feel like we really lucked out when we found Sarah!

I recently hired Sarah Sits-N-Stays to take care of my 16 year old cat while we were out of town for a week. This was my first time hiring a pet sitter and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I received daily updates with photos, so I never had to worry about whether my cat was receiving the care and attention he needed. I am very happy I was referred to Sarah Hays, owner of Sarah Sits-N-Stays. I cannot begin to express how pleased I am with the care that the pet sitters have provided to my fur baby. With the Time to Pet application, I am able to upload all the important information regarding Taz's care, including vital medication she needs to have administered daily. They keep me informed with every visit and send me pictures so I can see how my little girl is doing. They have provided a peace of mind so when I need to travel I can do so with confidence. I highly recommend Sarah Sits-N-Stays!

This five star review is for the groomer at Pets at Play (can’t speak to daycare or boarding, as I’ve never done either). I have a 9 year old doodle and trust me, finding a groomer who is not only willing to groom your doodle but also does it well and with a good attitude (many get annoyed) is rare. I always leave happy! He does a great job and in my experience $100 for ~the works~ is affordable. So glad to have found him!

Our little dog loves boarding here. She plays with her little dog friends and gets meals on time. Grooming here is first rate. We bring her in every six weeks. There's a new groomer and he's great

My dog loves Pets at Play! I have been taking Ollie to Pets at Play for daycare, overnight boarding and grooming for over a year now. He is a sweet but sensitive dog. Pets at Play is the only dog boarding and grooming place in RVA that he enjoys going to and being at. The groomer is always very thoughtful about grooming Ollie the way I like. She called me before she groomed Ollie just to confirm she knew what I wanted from his cut. Very blessed to have Pets at Play in our lives

When I tell you my baby loves this place!!! He is a mamma's boy, if he doesn't know you he will not go near you. BUT when we come to Pets at Play he runs right through the door to the day care and grooming! He comes home tired from day care so I know he is playing and having fun!!

Only been here a few times but I am now a loyal customer! They must be doing something right, because now every time I walk my dog he tries to pull me in the direction of Pets At Play. He is so ecstatic every time we go, I am starting to bring him there just for fun in addition to out of necessity! Do note: if your dog is over 70 lbs they won’t be able to be boarded overnight due to kennel sizes, but they do wonderfully accommodating larger dogs in daycare! My pup loves Pets At Play!

Came here for their grooming services and was not disappointed! They were polite and informative when I called with questions and were super friendly in person. And they made my pup adorable! Will definitely return for future grooming services and daycare services.

My westie,, Tucker loves this place to play. I think he has a girlfriend there. They are kind, courteous and true animal lovers. This is the only place he’ll play with other dogs as he never plays outside my home with any other dogs male or female.

I booked grooming for my dog a month ago and was very clear (in writing) about his large size (~100 pounds) - they even said it was fine in writing. I drove 40 minutes to get there and as soon as I was pulling into my neighborhood after drop off, the groomer called to say that my dog was too heavy to fit on the table/a leg of the table was breaking. He made sure to mention that it was not my dog's fault at all/he was fine. He said he has been trying to get new equipment for grooming from management but they're refusing. What type of table doesn't hold 100 pounds? I drove for 2 hours total between 7:00am and 9:00am all because they couldn't provide the groomer the correct equipment to provide grooming services to my dog. It's not his fault in my opinion, but if he knew that size would be an issue, they should have let me know well in advance, as I had booked it a month ago. My dog used to go to Pets at Play about two years ago and there were not issues then (and he was around the same weight). Very disappointed in the lack of communication and lack of resources to provide grooming services. A word of advice to management: do not advertise grooming for dogs of all sizes/approve grooming for larger dogs if you cannot actually do it.

We used to be faithful Pets at Play customers for over 3 1/2 years, having taken our 4 year old since she was a puppy, and our 6 month old for a solid year at least two days a week for each. Over that time, we’ve provided them thousands of dollars in revenue, somewhere around $8k-$9k between daycare, baths and the occasional boarding. In March of 2019, we sent our older dog in for her regular daycare appointment and requested she get a bath and her nails trimmed. When we got her home, we noticed she was licking her paw quite a bit and saw one of her nails was badly damaged, split, and beginning to ooze pus. No one at Pets at Play called or told us her nail was damaged, even though they said her nails were cut. We emailed the owner with our concerns and received a call back from an employee, who specifically told me she was calling as to not cause any confusion, but they could not get their story straight. To me, it sounds like they didn’t want a paper trail of any potential responsibility. One person said the nails were cut, then the groomer said they did not need to be cut. If the nails got cut, why did no one tell us they damaged her nail? If they did not need to get cut, that obviously means you checked them all, right? And if you saw one was damaged, why were we never told? Whatever the case, our dog went to daycare just fine, but left with a badly damaged nail which required sedation and surgery the next day to the tune of $275 in vet bills. Whether our dog’s nails were cut, Pets at Play was negligent at best, and deceptive at worst in trying to conceal or claim ignorance of her injury. Finally, to add insult to injury (literally), I went into their online system that weekend to cancel the next two daycare reservations (because our dog needed to be at home to recover from surgery), and they had deleted all of her reservations for the next year without telling us. I never said anything to them, so why would they delete our standing reservations? It doesn’t seem like a good business practice to alienate loyal customers as we have been for years. The way Pets at Play treated our dog, my wife and me is no way to treat loyal customers. We’ve always enjoyed taking our dogs to Pets at Play for daycare and boarding, but I no longer have any faith in how they treat us or our dogs. We will not be returning, nor can I recommend their services.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful PETs at PLAY is! Dixie knows when I say "want to go see your friends" exactly where she is going and doesn't even look back when we hit the door! That is how I know, PETs at PLAY is the absolute BEST. Dixie has only ever stayed the night in her entire 11 years with my parents, PETs at PLAY and me. I LOVE the emailed pictures throughout the day of her literally smiling and having fun! I am particular because she is such an important part of my life and choosing a daycare and place to board seemed impossible until we experienced PETs at PLAY. Dixie's excitement when talking about, going to and spending time here is exactly why PETs at PLAY will be the only place we go!

Our older dog is extremely sensitive to change and strangers, and would be unable to handle the stress of being boarded or having friends simply “drop-in” to feed him and let him out. Bart’s spends quality time with your furry family member (“FFM”). Our “old guy” is happy to see us when we arrive home, but it is always very clear and comforting that he’s been well cared for and given attention in our absence. We also have a parrot that Bart’s cares for. Their services have been a life-saver, allowing us to easily plan family vacations without worry now (we’ve used the services more than once for a week or more). We have called Bart’s with only a week’s notice to request a week-long service with a “happy-to-help, glad-you-called!” attitude. You will be offered an introduction visit with your FFM (recommended) and an opportunity for a detailed discussion of what your FFM idiosyncrasies may be and what your expectations are. This will also include specific service requests for your house during your absence. From this visit, Bart’s creates a checklist to be sure everyone is on the same page and will have for future service requests. For future service requests, a “reintroduction” to your FFM is offered and the checklist is revisited to cover anything which may have changed. Of course, while pet care is the primary purpose of hiring Bart’s, there are other important value-adds worth noting: • Your house is also being visited regularly when on an extended vacation. If something were to go wrong while you were away, you have the peace of mind to know you will be notified. Ultimately, you not only get a pet sitter, but a house sitter. • If requested, your regular household routines (mail, packages, trash taken down/up) are being attended to. • Your house will be in as good or, as with our most recent service, better shape than when you left it (e.g. my “old guy” is shedding and I came home to my carpet being vacuumed – no, didn’t ask, it was just done (really, how great is that?!) • To the point above – and again not requested, just done - my “old guy” was brushed regularly!!! In summary, Bart’s is caring, dependable, responsive, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and exceeds expectations. You will receive a very earnest follow-up after services rendered to be sure you were satisfied with your experience and for suggestions for future improvements. It is such a breath of fresh air to receive such exemplary customer service and we could not be happier.

Kristen with Grateful Paws is absolutely the best with my older dog as well as my cats. You can tell these animals mean so much to her & my animals look forward to their time with her. Kristen always sends us a great pic or two or their adventures & she provides great insight on the care & wellbeing of my critters, which I appreciate. I would highly recommend using Grateful Paws for any of your pet sitting needs or anytime you're as busy as I am with work or other obligations, it's great to know your pet is given some adventure time with such great care.

There are not enough good things I can say in this one single review. Kristen really takes time and care for my dog and she has been the only one I have been able to fully trust with my defiant husky. She is patient and her communication is always so reassuring that my dog is in the best of hands! Even in these particular times of uncertainty, I can be certain that Kristen will be there for Potter ❤️ Thank you for everything- couldn’t have picked a better dog walker/care taker.

It may be trite but our pups are family members and I fully trust Kristen to take care of our furry family members for walks and pet sitting when out of town. Also she’s really flexible for last minute needs for walks, contentious-particularly these pandemic days. We’ve had Kristen do overnight stays and not only does she care if the pups and hang with them, she’ll take in mail and water plants. Highly recommend hiring Kristen for your furry family members.

Kristen has taken care of my two pups on a number of occasions when I went out of town. She always showed up on time at the house for their meals and walks, and showered them with lots of attention and love. Kristen even sent me photos from their walks, which always made my day! I highly recommend this service, and guarantee that you won’t be disappointed!

For years, Bart's Barks has removed our biggest pain-point with traveling: pet care. It's been a huge relief knowing that we have someone reliable to count on, no matter where we are or for how long. Bart is basically a dog whisper who'll naturally carry-on a conversation with your cat, so expect your pets to love him (probably more than you)!

So my girlfriend is out of town and I work 8-5 everyday an hour away. We have a 3 year old dog and a 3 month old pup. It's not easy to get somebody to come check on the 3 month old every 3 hours or so, but Bart's Barks LLC was able to. He didn't just come take our dogs out to the bathroom and leave, but instead he came to our house and took our dogs on a walk, fed them, and spent quality time with them. All this when on a busy Thursday! I couldn't have been more pleased with the services and care Bart's Barks provided for my fur children in a pinch. I am 100% satisfied and would recommend them to anyone who loves and values their pups as much as my girlfriend and I do. I will definitely be using Bart's Barks more in the future. I could not say enough good things about Kristen and this company. She has taken care of our dogs many times and I have always felt very confident leaving them in her care. I know she truly cares about my dogs and will treat them with the utmost care and concern.

I have had great experiences with Grateful Paws after MANY not so great experiences with other companies. When I return from trips, my dogs are always calm and happy, which lets me know that they were well taken care of. Bugsy loves going to Four Paws on Hamilton Street in Richmond! They are very kind and gentle with him when we arrive. The staff eased him into the yard during his first visit. Now, he can't wait to play with all of his new doggie friends and it seems that when it's time to go home he wants to stay longer. I feel at ease knowing he is with people who care so much about the doggies under their care!

Since moving to the area, Four Paws has been such a gift for me and my golden. She is always eager to jump out of the car and run inside when she realizes we are heading there for daycare. It is so convenient to be able to board her there as well, with people, pets, and surroundings she is comfortable and familiar with. When it comes to our pet needs, there’s no one we trust more than the kind and helpful staff at Four Paws in the Fan 🙂

My dog Dexter has been going to Four paws fan location since he was a puppy. I love the fact that he gets to play all day, unlike some daycares that keep them caged most of the day. Dex loves it there. It’s his second favorite place to be (home is first of course). The employees are very nice, but most importantly, I like the way they treat Dexter.

I cannot say enough about how incredible the staff at Four Paws is. My sweet boy is an anxious guy and he absolutely loves going to hang out at daycare. Emma, Bailey, and Ericka have always been so welcoming and informative - we’re very grateful to have found them after moving to the area.

I have been pleasantly surprised by Four Paws! Their Hamilton St. location is just down the street from my new job. I took our Bichon, Finn, there for day care because we had just moved to the area and I wasn't sure about leaving him home all day. They took great care of him and he seemed happy at the end of the day. I also just recently used their boarding services when we went out of town for a few days. Again, they took great care of him. The staff are very friendly and genuinely love dogs. :-) I always know that Finn is in good hands there. I also appreciate their very reasonable and affordable prices. Four Paws is 100% Finn-approved! (see attached picture)

We just started here and love it! My dog, noodles, has come home so tired in the best way when I pick her up! Also love they have an indoor area for rainy days.

My pup has been going to Four Paws for almost a year now and he loves it! He only goes a twice a week for daycare, but as soon as we pull into the parking lot his tail starts going crazy and he's itching to go play with all his friends. We also board him here when we travel out of town and it gives me such a peace of mind to know that he's playing constantly when I'm gone and being cared for so well. All the staff is so kind and easy to work with!

I have taken way too long to leave this review! WE LOVE FOUR PAWS! Angus has so much fun and gets to run and play for hours on end. The first day we brought him, they managed to convince him to let them cut his nails (and charged nothing for the first time), which was 1) an amazing first impression and 2) a huge relief for a dog mom tired of wrestling with a 65 pound scaredy cat. He left that day completely tuckered out, which was beautiful. They send pictures often and give updates on how his day went whenever I come to pick him up. Such sweet humans, and a service worth every penny. Highly recommended!

We recently used Barksley for dog walking services while my husband and I were on vacation, and we couldn't be happier with the care Honey received. Kassi and Jessica were amazing! They provided such detailed recaps after every visit, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. The team at Barksley is absolutely phenomenal! I know I can be a bit picky about the care of my dogs, but they have been exceptional in hearing all of my concerns with my puppy and following all of our instructions. They are also beyond accommodating for our crazy work schedules to make sure he still gets the care he needs. Egon absolutely ADORES Jessica and Ciara and they always send the most adorable updates after their visits to let me know how he did, what he enjoyed, what he needs some work on, etc. And they always send the BEST photo updates. I have had some bad experiences in pet care, so I am VERY picky about who watches my dogs. I would absolutely trust anyone on the Barksley team with my babies!

Barksley is the best dog walking and pet sitting service in Richmond! You can undoubtedly feel that it is a business run by pet lovers, for pet lovers. I work from home most of the time, but my job requires me to go to different sites, sometimes at the last minute. Barksley has a super easy to use portal and they can accommodate last minute requests from me, at any time of day, which is a huge help. I never really have to worry if my dog will get care. I can always count on them. They know my dog well and love her like their own. She loves them too. I receive detailed messages via the portal after every visit and pictures that always bring a smile to my face. I've used other dog walking/pet sitting services in the past and they are by far the best!

I highly recommend Barksley to anyone in the Richmond area! This was my first time having a walker come to my home but they settled my worries right away. The care is impeccable and my walker is always so detailed about my pups visit. I loved that they did a meet and greet to really know my dog and understand her needs. I found Barksley online and they did not disappoint! They come to your house to meet your pet and learn their routine/needs, and are reliable to come when they say they will. They also send photos and a full report after they leave. The app makes it super easy to book their services, and they clearly love what they do. Definitely recommend.

I'm a relatively new client to Barksley and could not be more satisfied and happy with my experience. I've never had to utilize dog walkers outside of family members who live close by, so was a little unsure how it would go. They have made the process so easy and seamless from the beginning. They are very responsive to any questions and needs. My dog has been very comfortable with all of the walkers she has met and they provide thorough updates about each visit and photos showing how much she is enjoying their time with her! It is like they have been part of our lives all along!

My family loves Barksley! They are so professional and very attentive to my dog's specific needs. We trust them completely to make sure he enjoys his walks and is kept safe. We've also loved the overnight care option. My dog can be particular but he has always loved all members of the Barksley team. They are also very responsive to questions and keep us updated on everything that happens with our pup.

Absolutely adore this doggy daycare. First, kudos to them for their required human tour. Aspens been to several doggy daycares and NEVER have I seen the inside of one. Our tour was at 10-11am, so there were already dozens of dogs there. The facilities are so beautiful, clean, and organized, AND they are staffed 24/7! I am obsessed! They are incredibly attentive to the dogs and truly seem to love their jobs. I’m very happy with my decision to move Aspen to Toby Town. They work with my crazy EMS hours on the weekend, allowing Aspen to be dropped off early for a small fee. They also have pools for the water lovers, like Aspen, which is so fun for her. I’m so happy with Toby Town and am thrilled to have found her such a caring, compassionate, and safe daycare!

Our 12 year old adapted Labrador, Bogey, loves Toby Town! Every time he comes home he can't stop talking about what a wonderful stay he had and how kind and attentive all of the staff members were to him. He loves the amenities, the indoor and outdoor play areas, the optional snacks and the overall cleanliness. Suffice to say, if Bogey is happy, we are happy with Toby Town!

Our pup has had a great time here and comes home exhausted. They offer amenities that can make your life easier (baths, etc). Place runs like a well oiled machine and go in get plenty of pics at the end of the day!

My husband and I bring our boy Murphy to Toby Town once a week. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. He always looks SO happy and as soon as he sees where we are going in the morning, he is crying out of excitement. I feel bad for the morning worker (I’m so sorry!) who grabs him because he is literally a wild man jumping out of the car to go play. Every worker is incredibly kind and really care about your dog. Tobytown is by far the BEST daycare and boarding facility in Richmond, VA. Gloria and her staff truly care about the dogs and their safety and comfort. It is the ONLY dog care facility you can walk in that does not smell AT ALL! No odor in any room or outdoor area. We leave our dog for long stays and he comes home happy and healthy. Tobytown posts lots of facebook and IG pictures to see how your dog is doing for daycare and lengthy stays. We appreciate Tobytown so much!

Best day care ever! Every single staff member works hard to cater to your dogs needs. My dog Charlie absolutely loves it. He has a little bit of separation anxiety and they care for him so well. They are friendly during pick up and drop off and they will work with you on times and days! Toby Town is kind, friendly, clean and safe for your dog. I wish I could give every staff member a hug because they take care of my dog so well. I am so thankful I found Toby Town! Absolutely Amazing!

I have small dogs and was a daycare novice prior to Toby Town. With a new puppy I wanted to make sure she was socialized so I began looking at daycares for her. After visiting several facilities I chose Toby Town because it was clean, bright and seemed to be staffed with grown ups. I liked that they didn't use crates and seemed to want to meet the needs of the pups first vs the needs of the facility. Having my puppy at Toby Town has been a great experience- the staff is consistent and communicative, and I feel like they keep an eye on her (as she's only 8 lbs). Quite honestly, she is the best dog and people socialized of my pack and I feel I have Toby Town to thank for that.

Best dog daycare in the area!!! We have tried several dog boarding options, and we believe Toby town has the most personal care and is the best value for what you pay. I don’t know how they have collected so many wonderful staff members, but we enjoy all our interactions with the employees and owner!! They remember my dog Wally and talk about how it went at the end of the weekend.

The staff at Toby Town are fabulous. My pup loves spending the day or several nights at Toby Town, and I always know she'll get great care. It's a great place to take your dog for day care and boarding.

Toby Town is amazing! My dog Titan loves to go there and they take great care of him. The place is beautiful and cleaner than any human day care center!! Gloria, the owner, treats my dog as if he were her own. I wouldn't hesitate to board him there because someone is always there to watch out for him. I can't recommend this facility enough!

Giselle is such a sweet and loving person! She loves and cares for our fur babies just like they are her own! Giselle kept my Dog Elijah for 5 days and kept me informed on how he was doing daily with pictures and text messages. Due to his sensitive skin and stomach issues, he needs medications administered and close eye to monitor if there are any issues to arise, which Gisell does a great job. Gizell is wonderful! She is very kind and has a beautiful, clean home and set up for keeping animals. Nice fence too! I am so happy to have chosen her to care for my 4 dogs!! So many amazing things to say about Haley. We have used her twice for overnight stays with our 2 rescue dogs. First of all the communication before and during is effortless. She texts almost immediately if we have questions or if we are just checking in. Also, she is very prompt. If she says she will arrive at 3 pm she will be there. I was a little nervous using her the first time just because we had never left our pets with anyone other than family. We went away this past weekend overnight and she stayed with our pups and I had zero worries and knew that I could text or call at anytime. Both of our dogs love her and she always sends us adorable pictures. I would not use anyone else. We have several upcoming weekend getaways coming up in the Spring and we will definitely use Haley. We feel so blessed that we found someone that truly loves what she does and it shows!

Haley has cared for my dog Calvin for nearly four years now, and she is wonderful. He adores her and we think of her as part of the family. He has canine epilepsy, and though it has been well- controlled for a couple years now (fingers crossed), he has a somewhat complex food and medication regimen, but Haley is always on top of it and is more than capable of handling it. She has done both drop-in visits and overnight house/dog sitting for us, and she takes wonderful care of everything. She is a "natural" with animals and I absolutely recommend her.

I cannot say enough great things about this business! I reached out to Haley to check in on my cat while I was out of town, and I do not regret it one but. She responded to my inquiry very quickly and was easy to chat and schedule with- we even scheduled a meet and greet for her and my cat. She was thorough and thoughtful in asking questions- she even cleaned up when my cat dumped her litter box over, lol. Haley took great care of my cat and I will definitely choose All Animal Care and Pet Sitting the next time I go out of town.

Oh my gosh.....where do I even start on Haley?! Is there a way to leave more than 5 stars? Let me start by saying I was impressed when she didn't run off after meeting with me.....I think I may be one of the worst helicopter fur-moms and the pickiest about my animals care, in the world. That being said, it is hard for me to even explain how grateful we are to have found her and have her in ours/our animals lives! She is so knowledgeable and understanding, and goes above and beyond every single time. Our animals, who sometimes take a while to come around, took to her instantly and are familiar with her face now and look forward to when they get to see her. I think when we came back from a trip, they were more sad that she had left. She remembers every little detail and for someone that gets so beyond stressed leaving their animals, that is so, so helpful! She checks in on our animals (one of them has some life threatening health issues) when she doesn't have to, and knows the way we want everything, every time. I used to not be able to leave without writing a book of instructions and being panicked the entire time I was away...and even with all the things our animals require and everything she has to remember, she still finds time to send pictures, give additional updates and go the extra mile for us and our pets without us even asking. I cannot explain the gift this girl has for this or put into words how much I recommend her. She has been a blessing to us and we are so thankful for her every time. If you want the best care for your animals, and I mean the best, do not consider anyone but Haley!

Our family has a cat named George we love dearly. The children and I recently took a two week vacation and did not want to leave George in a boarding kennel or with friends or neighbors for that length of time. Having The Collar Club of Virginia come into our home was so much better and without a doubt I know that George was lovingly looked after. When Caren came over to meet George for the first time, he immediately took to her and she was so sweet to him. George is a cat who needs a lot of attention. Caren recognized that immediately and went right to his basket of toys. She was excellent from the start - Caren is beyond reliable, dependable and qualified. She sent us pictures of George while we were away with little notes letting us know how he was doing. She brought in our papers and adjusted the lights each day, took out our trash and even coordinated with a serviceman for some plumbing work while we were gone. When we needed help transporting 2 kittens that we had adopted online to our home from the airport, Caren helped us out enormously! Caren is such a kind person and cares endlessly for animals. We enlisted Caren to care for our golden retriever Mosby for 2.5 days. We did one over night stay and twice daily walks. She constantly updated us with photos and comments on what he was up to. We have been bringing our puppy to All Dogs for almost a year for training and daycare. She loves all the people and dogs there. They are so attentive and kind. They know all the regular dogs by name. They send photos of her everyday. We feel like she’s in trustworthy hands. It’s also great that she can get groomed while at daycare and that we can get a significant discount for buying daycare sessions in bulk!

When we moved here last year, one of our top priorities was finding a great day camp and boarding facility for our big dog. We don’t have a backyard so having a way to socialize him with other dogs was really important to us in this new area. We quickly found All Dog and haven’t looked back! When we bring Gus in for day camp, he’ll sprint us to the front door and is always so excited to see the staff and his other friends who are there for the day. It’s also the only boarder we’ve used where Gus comes home without any digestive issues (he has IBD), so for whatever trip we’re on, we know he’s being well cared for and having fun running around. Their training is great too. Gus is super reactive, so we did the 5 day training camp earlier this year and he’s like a completely different dog on walks now! Seriously cannot recommend this place enough (: thank you team!

I take my dog, Rooster, here once a week and he absolutely loves it! From the moment we walk in the door the staff is always so happy to see him. Which makes me happy to leave him for the day. Kayla did an AMAZING job training our 1 year old Goldendoodle mix! Due to how large and energetic he is, we've had a lot of issues getting him to focus on his basic commands and not chase our cat around. In just one month, I swear we have a different dog now 😭💙 Kayla provided us with SO MANY great updates and tips on how to keep up his training.and behavior, and all the photos from staff were major highlights in our days. Cannot recommend these folks enough!!!

My dog loves daycare and boarding at All Dog Adventures. The staff are friendly and helpful. I know that my dog is safe when he is there. We also enjoy agility training with James!

We have had our dog boarded with All Dogs 3-4 times and he has had kennel cough at least 3 of the times he was there. I am not sure why it keeps happening but am I doubtful we will use them again. The staff send pics while he is there which we like, but the continued illness after each stay is concerning. We also tried the group training in the past which I did not find very helpful. The trainer would leave the dogs in the crates while she talked for almost 20-30 minutes. Being stuck in a crate that long with all the distractions (including the multiple times you could hear dogs barking from other areas) made it a difficult environment for the dogs to learn.

I highly recommend All Dog Adventures for anyone struggling with a challenging dog. My puppy, Tate, was initially very disobedient, antisocial, and constantly barking, but the trainers at this daycare worked wonders with him. Their expertise, patience, and personalized approach turned Tate from a difficult dog into a well-behaved, obedient boy. He now follows commands and interacts positively with others, which is a huge improvement. The transformation has been remarkable, and I’m incredibly grateful for their dedication. If you’re facing similar issues, this place is definitely worth considering.
