Kendra was a great cat sitter to Genepi and she truly is a cat whisperer. Genepi usually takes 4 days to make friends with a new person but she came out and made friends with Kendra Day 1! Kendra regularly sent wonderful videos and pics of Genepi purring happily. The apartment was neat when we returned and our garden was blossoming. Would absolutely ask Kendra to sit again and highly recommend her. Thanks Kendra!!

Sharon and Milton are two of the nicest people I've met in my life. This is my first time having a sitter fly in from out of state and it was so simple, stress-free, and didn't affect any part of me getting ready for my trip, leaving for my trip or returning from my trip. Sharon was very communicative before, during and after I returned. It just couldn't have been more wonderful! If you're considering applicants stop looking and choose Sharon and Milton. They are just delightfully wonderful wonderful people!! They go above and beyond just housesitting and pet sitting! Tidy, clean, respectful down to earth and the most kind and loving people. I do believe Milton really is a cat whisper!! They slept with my sweet babies, and even followed silly grooming instruction on one of my cats. Would have them sit for me absolutely anytime.

Lindsey was super communicative, friendly, responsible, and an excellent sitter for our two cats. When we returned, our home was clean and our cats relaxed and happy as if we had never left ! She sent us photos and updates every day, as requested, and when a random mishap occurred in the apartment, she let us know right away and was proactive in handling issue. Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.

Paige, David, and family were WONDERFUL sitters for my crew! They were so pleasant and personable, and the pets warmed up to them very quickly. Even my rescue cat who tends to stray away from men loved David. I received regular updates and communication (before and during the sit). I truly did not have any concerns while I was away knowing that everyone had such great care and attention given to them. (I know the dogs had a good time because when I came home there was no commotion over my return.) I was away on NYE and Paige had no issues keeping an eye on one of the dogs who has anxiety surrounding loud noises. The family cleaned up after themselves and may have left the house cleaner than when I left! Truly such a great family who I would welcome back any time!

If Macie and Roman ever apply to your post for a house or pet sit, I strongly encourage you to jump at the. offer. You will not be disappointed. They are among the top (if not the top) sitter I've ever had and I've been on this site for years. Primarily, they are very organized. In the weeks and days leading up to the sit, Macie and Roman kept me abreast of their plans and status. I felt very comfortable in the days leading up to the sit because I knew the plan we made to exchange the keys and walk them through the instructions would work as planned. Second, Macie and Roman really care. When they got to my apartment after a very long morning of traveling, I explained the care instructions and they were very attentive and cared about the details - asking very specific questions on how to care for my cat and apartment. I had some pretty specific rules about how to feed my cat and take care of him and Macie and Roman followed those exactly. Third, Macie and Roman make you feel comfortable while you are away. I got daily or twice daily updates about my cat. I got pictures which made me feel like my cat was having a good time. My cat came out of hiding very quickly and was snuggling with them and letting them hold him. It was so nice to see the pictures of them all bonding! Macie and Roman have a calming energy towards animals for sure! Macie and Roman were also very responsive when I reached out first - replying within 30 minutes. I really appreciated that. Fourth, Roman and Macie will take good care of your apartment/house. I came back to a SPOTLESS apartment. The towels were washed. The apartment had been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The dishwasher had been run. Everything was in its place when I returned. Honestly, cleaner than when I left it which is difficult since I am a very clean person. Macie and Roman also respects your property. We had a room we asked them not to enter and they respected that. In short, Macie and Roman are amazing. I would have them back in a heartbeat. Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.

Chris was a fantastic cat sitter for our elderly and high maintenance kitty. Chris was the perfect combination of responsible and on top of her medication needs while also being calm and relaxed about her picky eating habits and the need to monitor her food and medication consumption. He was prompt, easy to get a hold of, responsible, and overall, a great sitter. I would definitely recommend him and most certainly hope to have him stay with her again.

Archie had a great time in Belview. He was really well looked after. He got on with the owners and other dogs. The owners had a great way with him and obviously love dogs. I would have no problem recommending Belview to others.
Have been sending our crazy cocker spaniel here since he was about 8/9 months old. He loves it. Owners are lovely and treat Ozzy so well.

Left our 6 month old puppy Wanda with Rob, she was very well looked after and seems to have had a very good time and excercise on extensive grounds! Will defo leave her there in our next holidays!
I will never recommend this business to anyone! Our dog went in freshly groomed for 2 weeks and when we picked her up she was appalling! Was told she rolled in mud but she reeked of pee and poo and her harness was bitten at which leads me to believe she was left in her harness for the 2 weeks. Had to bathe her as soon as we got home and we were assured she would be indoors as she is a house dog but to me looking the state of her she was left in a shed of some sort. Only booked here because reviews were excellent so it’s probably friends and family leaving the reviews. NEVER again….it’s to the point now that I’m never leaving her with anyone other than family members. Had her in boarding kennels before and she loved them but not this one. I know it’s a business and I thought long and hard about leaving a bad review as I don’t like it but I value my dog more than that.
We left our dog there for a few days. When we went to collect him.he was so smelly and mad thirsty he was not the same dog for a few days . I asked do you have kennels for the dogs and was told no they all live in the living room I was very surprised to hear this.our dog will Never go there again

Holly’s Hotel comes highly recommended! - my rescue dog is nervous of new people and places but had a great time meeting the other dogs in a happy and calm environment. Angie and John are dedicated and passionate about dogs, and do a great job caring for their guests. Getting regular video updates is a great bonus!

We came over from liverpool, where we live and needed our frenchies minded whilst we went to Dublin for the day and night . We searched the internet and thankfully we came across Holly’s. This doggie hotel is superb and 10/10. Professional, slick, safe and you leave your dog(s) there, knowing immediately that they are in safe hands. Woof! My name is Obi & I love going to meet my friends at Hollys Hotel, it is pawsome!! The big garden is like my own playground. We chase & roll around all day long. And the treats oh wow! We have been sending Elton to Holly's Hotel since February for doggy day care (play days), overnight stays & weekly holidays. Angie and John are true Dog lovers and treat Elton like one of their own. I would give ten stars if it was available. We left our 2 cats, Bailey and Ollie in with Lorna and Brian and I have to say they were amazing. We were nervous to leave our cats anywhere because we had a past bad experience with our dogs in a kennel, so we really did our homework and visited a lot of catteries. When we visited river cottage, the first thing we noticed was the fresh scent and extra large space provided for your pet. Even though you are welcome to bring what ever you want your cats to have, River Cottage do actually provide everything you could need. The spaces have cat trees and lots of toys to play with. Lorna and Brian are so patient and take lots of time to answer any questions you have and happily, keep you updated how they were getting on, which gave us absolute confidence we picked the right cattery for our two. Nothing was too much or any inconvenience for Lorna and Brian. When my pets came home, they were happy and content and settled back in right away. We'll be using river cottage forever. Thank you so much for everything guys, we hugely appreciate it 🥰
FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! Have left my young kitten with Loran and Brian multiple times over the past 2 years and have always had a brilliant experience. I was nervous at first as my kitten was so young and I had never left him before but Lorna assured me that she would keep him in good care of him and keep in touch with me personally. When I returned my kitten was so relaxed and calm and had honestly seemed like he had a lovely holiday too! This place is something special for your cat. We wouldn't leave Bear anywhere else. It's never nice leaving your pets but leaving them here makes it so much easier. Real cat people who genuinely care for your cat as much as you do. Can't recommend this place enough.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Explained clearly in the booking what I needed for my 2 cats. This was accepted by Lorna and guaranteed. On arrival the lodgings for my cats was EXTREMELY SMALL and NOT what I had booked. I was extremely unhappy and under pressure as I had this booked for some time. I left my cats but then returned 1hour after I left them as there was no way they would have been comfortable and this is certainly not what had been agreed upon. I was then told I would not be getting any money back as per terms and conditions. The COURTS agreed however that the service I had paid for and which had been agreed upon and not been provided and reimbursement was made. I WOULD NOT recommend this place after my own personal experience with them *update* We went to visit, and you show the bigger rooms. Also we live in IRL, and all the sizes should be paramount on the welfare of the animal.
Late adding this review but Lorna looked after our 3 cats last summer for two months while we had our house renovated and I cannot recommend River Cottage Cattery enough. It was such a long stay for them and I was worried but they came back calm, well looked after and happy, like they had never been away! Which is just amazing. Its clear they were loved, cuddled and cared for to the highest standard for their whole stay. Lorna also identified that one of our cats has a food sensitivity to what we had been feeding her and that it was the cause of her not using her litter box, a problem I had been trying to sort since she was a kitten, since Lorna figured out the problem for me she is good as gold and always uses the litter box. River Cottage is a fantastic place to leave your cats there cant be a better cattery in Ireland!
I left my 3 fur babies with Lorna for 1 week and they had no hassle at all except for the orchestra of sounds on the way home. I would highly recommend River Cottage Cattery and have no problem trusting Lorna with my animals in the future. A++

River Cottage Cattery is honestly the best, I wouldn’t leave my cat with anyone else. You can tell how lovely and caring they are to all the cats, and they get to know their personalities so well. They have heated blankets, lots of toys and spacious cubicles, so it really is like a hotel for your cat! I can’t recommend them enough.
