5 stars does not reflect the level of care, professionalism, and excellence present at K9Nanni. Linda and her staff truly make our dogs their passion. Here is my story: Our pup Lucas was rescued and was traumatized very early in his life. He was very reactive -- always operating from the orange and red zone. It was very difficult to keep him balanced and sometimes alarming. Kylie recognized the gentleness in him, helped him with his separation anxiety, and along with Ashley and staff was instrumental in helping train him and bring him to a place of balance. Now his life is very different- he plays off leash and recall is second nature to him. He operates in the green to orange zone and responds when we instruct him. Kylie advised his confidence would improve if we sent him on hikes and recommended a trainer in Fort Lee who provides that service. That also helped balance and mold Lucas into a wise happy pup. In addition, in order for him to have the great puppy monitored socialization, the recurring 5 day a week daycare program is phenomenal. He loves it and scrambles out of the car to get to his human and doggy friends. We have had severe illness in our home as well as family visiting and the boarding was like a sleep-over for Lucas. He came home happy and relaxed. That's not all. The grooming service is comprehensive and by the way OUTSTANDING and is part of the package when you do a recurring 5 day full day doggy daycare. WOW! Linda and her pack go above and beyond to provide a blissful, eventful (fun activities throughout the year), interesting and very very loving environment for our dog babies. There is no where as wonderful as K9Nanni and you know how I know, my once unhappy reactive Lucas is actually all smiles, yes doggy smiles and nothing nothing is as important to a parent as a happy blissful pup.

I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart: This place is the place to be for your furbabies. Not only do they do daycare, they cater to your pet needs 100%. I bring my dog mostly every day, and he comes home wagging his tail and wanting not to go home. The staff is wonderful and caring to each and every single dog that arrives. They never disappoint, and I’m grateful I found this place. A 5-Star in my book.

They are absolutely incredible; I have never taken my other dog to an establishment because I was fearful he would get hurt or sick. The staff at the facility have been extremely Accommodating to jaggers needs as well as treating her like a little princess. I was fearful after she came home with lethargic symptoms, i called k9nanni and they were once again accommodating and let me know to call if her symptoms become worse. Ultimately I found that jagger was exhausted in the 90+ degree weather while outside in daycare because she is a puppy and I should have expressed that to daycare staff. She did have clear(water) diarrhea once she got home but that cleared the following day. Staff was incredible as well as concerned for jaggers health and since then, I believe they do not allow her outside in the sweltering heat for those reasons. I absolutely love how they treat her and take care of her and I will continue to bring her to k9nanni. Staff responds to emails ASAP, they offer suggestions as well as training suggestions. Unfortunately I never asked for staff names but they are the absolute best. I will continue to bring little puppy girl Jagger to K9nanni

We came to k9 Nanni after our sour patch kid puppy Finn got kicked out of 2 other daycares! He loves to jump and plays a little too rough sometimes. Linda, Ashley and their team quite literally changed Finn’s life. He goes for daycare and sleep overs every week. He comes home happy and exhausted from running and playing. They also came to our home for a private session to work with Finn on his reactions to scary things. We can’t say enough good things about k9 Nanni and how grateful we are to have a safe and happy place for our fur baby to enjoy!

I brought Benji, my 1 year old labradoodle here for the 3 week boarding & training program. I called for an evaluation and met with Ashley and Linda. I expressed my concern with Benji, him acting in an aggressive manner. During the time there I did not feel rushed. They both took the time to answer my questions and discussed the best solution for Benji. I received a tour of the facility and loved seeing how happy the dogs were and how clean and spacious the facility was. After 3 weeks of training I am still at WOW with the turn around Benji has made. His trainer Bo (so grateful for him) kept me updated with Benjis progress and was sent pictures & videos during that time. I went for the mid evaluation and was able to train with Benji on the techniques he had learned. It’s been a week now since he has been home and I am so glad I made the decision with the training! We are now able to go on peaceful walks without Benji reacting an aggressive manner or have fear towards any other dogs/people. HUGE THANK YOUUUU! We are so happy that this place exists! My pet bernedoodle, Bella goes her occasionally for boarding when we are away and she comes back like a happy little camper, tired but always so well taken care of. Recently they added grooming, which is amazing since she comes back fully groomed and bathed. Love and recommend k9 nanni to all pet owners in the area.

Before we took our 7 month old Rottie to Linda he was really struggling with impulse control. Pulling on the leash, biting furniture, the children of my family did not feel safe around him because he would try to jump/nibble on them. All of this was so sad for us to see because we knew he was such a sweet dog! He just needed help with impusle control. We decided to do the 15 day board and train and we got back a different dog! We are able to take him in walks every morning, which he LOVES. No more biting furniture, and for the first time all the kids came over and were able to sit and pet him without him trying to bite. We are FINALLY able to give him the kind of environment we have been wanting to give him. Jasper is always happy and stress-free now. I cannot express how grateful we are for not just training him, but training us on how to be better dog parents. ❤️

Linda is an amazing trainer. She helped us each step of the way with our newly adopted pup and we could not be happier with the progress he has been making in just a few short weeks. He also loved his playdate at her incredible doggy daycare! Highly recommend for whatever your needs may be!

We can't thank Linda enough. Linda has been with us since we brought our 10 week old puppy home and has worked with our dog intensively. Now at 8 months old, he’s a social, well behaved pup. Our dog loves going to K9 nanni, the entire staff is caring and professional. Update -7/19 - Hans needed a refresh course on controlling his impulses. At 10 months old, he was starting to take over our entire house, constantly pulling on walks, and jumping on people! We had very little control over this 80lb puppy. Linda recommended training him with an e-collar. Lindas training with this collar has changed our world - Hans responds to commands, sits when he greets people, and knows his boundaries. It's a pleasure to walk him and I'm so proud when people comment on how well behaved he is. A HUGE thank you to Linda for recommending this and working so hard with us. I trust her completely and she knows what is best for Hans. We can't thank her enough, from all the training to even taking Hans to the vet when we were out of town, we are BEYOND grateful for her.

Recently took my Golden Retriever for the first time. His groomer did a beautiful job with him, especially considering he isn’t the easiest dog to groom because he gets very nervous. Thank you K9 for being patient with him and doing an excellent job! The staff was also very sweet and professional. I will definitely be bringing him back!

Anybody who owns a pet knows how hard it can be finding a place or reliable person to leave your beloved pet with when it comes down to going away on vacation . I struggled for a long time to find the perfect place for my Dog Rocco until I came across Jenny in Home away from home pet services in my searches through the internet. I contacted Jenny via phone call we spoke and quickly arranged a meet and greet and right away she gave me a comforting vibe and I knew Rocco would be in safe hands . I received picture updates while on vacation of Rocco and other dogs on walks and I just knew he was having a fun time as well. I’m so glad I came across Jenny . I couldn’t be more happy and I will definitely be using her services again when I go on vacation as well as her day care services as he seemed to have a lot of fun being exposed to different dogs . Being a first time fur mom can be quite scary, having to leave your pup "my baby" with a total stranger can be just as uneasy.... However after my very first encounter with Jenny via phone conversation, she gave me such reassurance that not only I will be great at this, but my "Parker" will be in the best of hands!! Jenny's personality, her professionalism, and how she loves all the pups, not only speaks volumes of her overall well-being and great characteristics, but she's the epitome of "Selflessness and Genuine Love" I was a little nervous about Parker being away while we we're on a mini vacation, but the photos that Jenny sent us, showed us how happy Parks were. I can't thank Jenny enough for how she loves on Parker, the continued support and assistance she offers me while I'm still navigating this new journey, and how readily and accessible she is to me. Jenny was an absolute pleasure to work with! I had to leave my pup with her for a long weekend and I felt so comfortable, and my dog was SO happy! Her place is like a cozy little dog sanctuary so I definitely felt like I was leaving him somewhere he'd feel comfortable and at home. She sent me pictures and updates throughout the day which I loved, and always kept me in the loop. She even cooks her own organic food and treats, and sent us home with a sample to try out. 10/10 would absolutely recommend for all of your pet needs, would care and love your dog like her own!

I have been using Home Away From Home Pet Services since I relocated to New Jersey 3 years ago and I couldn't have found a better sitter for my cocker spaniel Max. Not only is Jenny professional she exuberates love and compassion for the animals in her care. Jeny's home was just what I was looking for. I have an older dog that gets very anxious so it was important for me that I found something that was as close to a home as possible. I didn't even have time to bathe my dog before I dropped him off and he came back super shiny. I'm looking forward to using the services again.

Jenny is lovely, kind, caring, responsive, reliable, professional...can't say enough good things about her. She took great care of our dog Teddy during regular walks and during boarding when we were away. She also takes adorable photos!! Finding someone to trust your baby with can be a nerve wracking experience. So much can potentially go wrong. And has a few times for me with others. But I knew I’d finally found the right person when I found Jenny. She’s a pro 100%. I knew she was someone I could leave the keys to my home with (literally and figuratively). She’s a great communicator. She’s thorough. She’s thoughtful. She takes initiative. She’s experienced. She’s fair and She’s kind. I will use Jenny for as long as I have a dog in my life and as long as she’s willing to care for them. I could not recommend her enough. I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Jenny!! She has taken care of my pets for me for the last 3 years with such care and compassion. My dogs know the second we turn onto her street and start freaking out because they are so excited to see her. They hate leaving!! I have a hectic unknown schedule because I am in the airline industry and she always seems to make it work to care for my dogs last minute. She is responsive, reliable, and her prices are very reasonable!! (As if there is really a price too high to know your fur babies are being loved on every second you can’t lol) She also is an amazing photographer and takes the best photos of your babies for you while you’re away. 10/10 recommend Jenny’s services to anyone in the NJ area. I have never needed pet sitting services until now. I have added a 3rd puppy and I live alone. I love my three boys like they are my children. Needless to say I was nervous trying to find someone. The best cat sitter that I have ever used! I have used Kearny quite a few times over the past few years ranging from a few days up to weeks during times of travel. Very reliable. I don't worry about my cat when I am away. They send pictures and updates every day that they visit. They also let me know if my cat has a hairball or vomits and has even cleaned it up for me while I was gone.

Erin and her team are absolutely wonderful! We have 4 dogs (2 of whom are seniors and 1 who is blind) and the care and love shown towards our fur kids is nothing less than amazing. We are so thankful to have found TKDW- Erin, it has truly exceeded all our expectations! I was in such a rut with my Husky Sheila. At the time she was just a puppy and getting into everything in our house! She was a menace and a danger to herself. It wasn't easy leaving our girl but we were thrilled to see how much fun and how tired she was after a long day of fun at daycare. Sheila is able to have a blast with all the other pups and get lots of exercise in, she always comes home very tired. Erin and her crew are the best. We’ve been trusting her to the care of our elderly cat whenever we travel for the last 2 years and he’s always been well taken care of. They send us tons of photos + a comprehensive text update after every visit and charge fairly. One time my cat vomited right before her visit and she cleaned it up and stayed with him for a little while longer to ensure he was ok. Totally recommend!! Erin and her team are truly AMAZING! I had to get a dog walker and I was referred to them and Erin was so quick and welcoming even when she was away and it was last minute on my end. Truly the most caring pet sitter around. We regularly send my two dogs to daycare with TKDW, where they have so much fun with their doggie friends. Erin and her team work incredibly hard to maintain a safe and happy place for the dogs. And the best part? She picks them up and drops them off for daycare! It makes my life incredibly easy. They also do walks and boarding. When they take my dogs for walks, I get a full report with pictures and a GPS map of the route they walked with my dog. Finally, I am writing this review from my hotel in St. Thomas. Where do you think I have my two dogs boarded? That’s right! With TKDW. My dogs are my family and I trust Erin to take good care of them!!

There are so many good things to say about The Kearny Dog Walker and the staff. They quickly responded to my service inquiry and set up at meeting time within 24hr. The walkers were amazing and so loved when caring to my girl. The platform was so easy to use, you are able to receive/send messages, view pictures, see checklist completed, and the route taken by walker. I had no worries while I was away. Prices are great for the amount of care and professionalism they provide. No only will they be my go-to dog walking service in the Harrison/Kearny, NJ area, but I also highly recommend them.

Erin and her team are life savers. They have walked my dog in the past when I had a medical emergency. And last month we needed someone to watch my cat because we were going to be gone for 2 weeks for our honeymoon. But my neighbor bailed on me last minute. Literally the day before the trip. I called Erin up and next day she was there to see how we care for our kitten. And she even has an app where we can get updates on our kitten every time they came to visit. They took amazing care of our little guy. They are reliable and you can tell they all really love animals. I'd recommend them to anyone!

Melissa is the absolute BEST thing that ever happened to Miles and me. Miles is a German Shepherd rescue who suffered from severe anxiety issues. I had been to several behavioralist, tried different doggie days cares but nothing helped so I thought I would try Jersey Dogs as a last resort. This month marks our one year anniversary with Jersey Dogs and I couldn’t be happier with Melissa and her partner Josh. Miles started going two days a week and just after two weeks I could see a huge improvement in his demeanor. He now goes 5 days a week! I never thought I would be able to take him on hikes with me without a leash but thanks to Melissa his recall is fantastic and we enjoy our time together outside and off leash!!! He is just a happy dog now through and through thanks to Melissa. Happy dog, happy dog mom for sure. 😁😍😁

Having recently become a first-time dog owner, I was SO overwhelmed with my young boxer's energy (and separation anxiety). Trying to tire her out each morning before work, with hopes she didn't ruin my apartment while gone, was growing old QUICKLY :P I stumbled upon Melissa/Jersey Dogs while I was attempting to develop a schedule for Georgia, which was diverse (e.g., not day care 5 days a week), easy for me to maintain, and equal parts tiring/fun for her! Upon reaching out to Melissa, she was quick to respond and set up a meet and greet. At our meet and greet, she asked a number of great/relevant questions and was so patient with Georgia's puppy energy. We set up Georgia's first half-day hike/play date (dog park + pack hike) for the following week. One of Melissa's walkers picked GA up while I was at work (easy lock box-type situation), and off they went. I later received photos of her playing at the dog park and subsequently, enjoying a pack hike. Upon her arrival home, the walker was kind enough to feed her (I had lunch/dinner prepped in the fridge) before leaving. GA slept the rest of the afternoon without wreaking havoc in my apartment. Bonus points that my all white boxer didn't return covered in mud, which was one of my fears. Since that first outing, Georgia has gone on a hike just about every week. I'm so excited for their summer adventures and plan to keep Melissa/Jersey Dogs in Georgia's weekly rotation :)

Melissa from Jersey Dogs is amazing! She comes twice a week to pick my pup up for either a play date or a hike and drops him off after. When he sees her pull up, he is so excited, he runs to her and doesn’t look back! He comes home exhausted which is a win win! I always look forward to the videos and pictures I get later on that day of my pup playing with all the other dogs. Melissa takes excellent care of the animals and I have complete trust in her. I highly recommend her services!

Melissa is wonderful with our poodle puppy (6 mos old). She always lets me know how she did with the other dogs. I love the pictures and videos of the pups having the best time. My puppy gets SO excited when Melissa picks her up & is happy and tired when she returns.

Melissa and her team are absolutely wonderful. We found them via a local Facebook group and couldn’t be happier. They do regular walks for our two large dogs as well as playgroups and hikes. Our dogs always come back tired and happy. Melissa sends pictures and videos from every play group or hike and it’s nice to be able to see how our pups are spending their time. She’s also super responsive. We’ve had no issues working with her and the team. Highly recommend their services.

We love Jersey dogs! We’ve been trusting Melissa and her team with our Alfie for the last 18 months and have been nothing but pleased. They are reliable, flexible, professional, safe and offer a range of activities for the pups. Alfie’s walks, hikes and play dates are the highlight of his day. He’s made lots of pup friends and is noticeably more socialized and better on the leash since his time with Jersey Dogs

I left my amazing, sweet little guy in their care and he was killed. He had only been with them three times before this happened. In the past year, I have received numerous messages from previous employees of this “company,” former clients, and been contacted by animal control, letting me know about the continued recklessness and negligence of this company. If you know any animal owners in the state of New Jersey or you have your own fur babies, do not hire these people or any associated businesses to take care of your four legged loved ones. It has been one of the biggest regrets of my life. This business was not bonded and insured as advertised and tried to avoid accountability as much as possible. I would give zero stars if it were possible.

I have been working with Jersey dogs, and in particular Melissa and Phil for almost five years. I LOVE THEM. They are so wonderful to my 12-pound, grumpy old man Chip, who is now 17 years old. My dog can be fiery and onery, but he responds well to all of the walkers. They really get animals and understand dogs. As he has aged and is now losing his sight, I know that I can count on them to take care of him and give him love and careful attention, as I would. My fur baby, well old man, is extremely important to me because unlike my child, he cannot talk to me, so knowing that I have good second parents/caretakers make all the difference when I have to work or if I have long hours and need them to back me up as doggy caregiver.

Melissa is fantastic. Our dog is always so happy to see her. Great with puppies and dogs in need of a lot of activity. And she picks up from your home! A perfect solution for working owners.

Melissa and her crew are the best! They are so patient and kind. My little (demon) lady comes home so tired that she takes hours of naps. And when she sees them she goes bananas! That definitely says alot about them. I trust my pup to them at any time.

Bakers Dog Care did an AMAZING job taking care of my pup! John was thorough when asking questions about my dog’s routine, diet, supplements and walks. He communicated with me and even included photos of how my pup was doing! I was 100% comfortable that my dog was safe and being well taken care. I will definitely be using Bakers Dog Care again!

I had been using a cat sitter for sometime and was no longer using her. My neighbors recommended Bakers Dog Care. From the moment I met John I knew my kids were in good hands. He goes over all details of when to feed, what to feed and anything he would need to know. I went on a 5 day trip and he texted me everyday to let me know everything was good. John and his team are outstanding! We’ve used Bakers Dog Care services weekly since we got our English Bulldog and it’s been such a positive experience. Our Millie gets excited when they come to feed her and take her out. They care so much about the dogs, the bowls are always washed filled with fresh water treats given etc. My work schedule changes weekly and John has been so accommodating always available. We would be lost without Bakers Dog Care. Millie thanks you all from the bottom of her doggy heart.

The best around! We've been using John and Baker's dog Care since we found out about him and couldn't be happier. John is more in tune with dog's than anyone I've encountered. He is amazing with them. I've never once had any questions about the quality of care they would receive while under his care. I can't say enough good things about this company.

I just want to share what a great person John is. His love and compassion for animals is beyond measure. He took care of my dogs like they were part of his family. He had also given me some food suggestions that helped my boys eat a more healthy diet. His partner who also came in to walk my dogs spent time with them that they needed while I was away. I felt so safe knowing my dogs were in such good care. I was able to go away and know my dogs were safe and well taken care of. I just want to say thank you! You are your staff are amazing and I’m forever grateful.

John was nice enough to help us out last minute and watch our black lab Adonis overnight and he had the best time ever! John and his wife are so sweet and clearly love animals. John even sent me a cute video of Adonis playing with all his new doggy friends. We will definitely be using Bakers Dog Care services again!

It is with great enthusiasm and not an ounce of hesitation that I recommend Baker’s Dog Care. They have been professional, reliable and all around wonderful since the moment I called for them to walk my pup. This may be a little long, but… I came home from work one day too sick to walk my dog, so, I called them based on a friend’s referral. They walked my dog 3 times a day for the next 10 days as I was unable to get out of bed. They also checked on me every time they came to the house. When one of the walkers was concerned that I looked worse than the day before, John, the owner, called to see if I was ok and offered to bring soup or whatever I needed. Since I began using their services I have taken in 3 fosters, 1 at a time. The walkers have been super helpful and accommodating with each new foster and the owner even let me borrow a crate. One of the fosters has had some trust issues due to neglect / abuse / no socialization. John spent some time visiting with my foster pup to build trust, a few times, before taking him for a walk. They are all professionals who truly love the dogs. I cannot recommend them enough. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. 🐾💕

We used Baker's Dog Care a few times and each time Lila came home so happy. She reminded me of a child who didn't want to leave their day care because they were having too much fun! The second time we went to Baker's, Lila started barking when we were at the top of the block! By the time we parked she was pushing against the car door. This was a few months after our last visit! Both John and his wife took care of Lila like she was their own beloved dog. They were so respectful of our needs and concerns. We had used another dog care facility before so we know what Lila looks like when service is NOT good. This was not the case here. Lila came home buoyant, clean, smelling great, and filled up with kisses and love. She had none of the trouble that other dog places will tell you is "normal" when you bring your pet back home - no "readjustment" or feeding issues at all. Quite the opposite. Lila came home happy and content. I highly recommend Baker's Dog Care with no reservations.

I recently boarded my dogs with Donna, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! It was their first time boarding, and I was a bit nervous, especially since one of my dogs has epilepsy. I can't say enough great things about Le Pooch Chateau! Donna and her team took such good of my pups! It's the first time in 5 years that i was able to tear my husband away from our dogs!!! He's always worried that no one would care for them the way we do. NEWS FLASH!!! Le Pooch Chateau did just that!!! We have two smallish dogs (9lb and 23lb) and the accommodations couldn't have been better! Clean, spacious, and Donna did everything to accommodate my rheumatoid arthritis girl. Le Pooch Chateau is the one and only place i take my babies to. The entire staff is amazing. They treat every dog with love and kindness. They pet them and play with them. The rooms are cute and clean. My dogs love everyone there (and trust me when i say that my male dog barely likes people hahah) The owner, Donna, is the sweetest lady ever! She is very kind, respectful and wants to do the best for my babies to have a great time. She was able to get my dogs to socialize with other dogs and she did that by being very patient, professional and kind. Debbie, Danielle and Chris are also very loving with my dogs. Everyone is! And you can really tell they do it with passion, not as a job, but as something they love doing. I will never take my dogs anywhere else. Thank you for everything you do Le Pooch Chateau. You treat us like family!

Donna and her staff are fantastic and true animal lovers. We boarded our 2 dogs there for a night and they went above and beyond for our boys - from special accommodations for the grumpy guy to playing fetch with the younger one. The place was immaculately clean and they have a variety of spaces for the pups. Extra bonus, we had them groomed as well. Our dogs came home handsome and happy! Donna was super great at communicating and flexible to meet the dogs needs. You can tell she just wants the best for the dogs. It felt like leaving them with our favorite trusted aunt who happens to be in the dog boarding business - we had complete peace of mind while out of town.

I brought my Woodle, Willow here for a week and it was wonderful. This was our first year trying to plan vacation while owning a dog. We trusted LePooch Chateau to take care of Willow while we were away and I'm so glad we choose them. They sent pictures to keep me updated and let me know how she was doing during the week. Willow was comfortable in the home like environment and the staff were incredibly friendly. We would definitely use them again.

Dropped our dog off for the day and we are so pleased with what this place has to offer! The ladies were extremely friendly and caring, and they took such great care of him! We cannot wait to bring him back for daycare and for weekly boarding when we go on vacation!

I’ve had a terrible experience with Premium Pets Service, there are only 5 star reviews here and that should have been the first red flag (!!!). Let’s start with the main point - Adrian is not a reliable dog walker. Leading up to the first session, he did not give me enough information and I had to reach out to him an hour into the scheduled walk to inquire about what to expect. As per the website, it says the first few walks “will ALWAYS be alone” to assess the pet but he took my 6 mo puppy with 2 mid-large size dogs that he should not have. In addition, Adrian failed to follow directions about feeding and gave food that was not dog safe whatsoever. He said it looked like ground beef & carrots which was similar to others clients; it doesn’t matter what it looked like, I gave specific guidance on which container and where the food was. Furthermore, he also did not lock the pen properly as the gate was only hooked from the bottom and I found the puppy loose in the apartment when I returned (see photo for reference). Last but not least, there was an incident on the 2nd day where I had to file a police report. When I asked for his full contact information to help with his part, Adrian refused completely and blocked me on all communications. From all the red flags, this one has to be a plane flying by with a red banner: Stay clear at all costs.

Adrian and his service Premium Pets Service have been wonderful for my needs and for my dog and cat. I work very extreme hours and he’s always there for me, even at the last minute. My dog, Augie, loves him. Adrian walks other dogs in the building and when we run into him my dog goes nuts. He always posts a picture after his walk. My dog is protective of me, but when he’s with Adrian he runs and plays with other dogs. I highly recommend Premium Pets Service.

Adrian is the best! He is incredibly reliable and has a natural way with dogs. My pup Oreo doesn’t usually take to new people but he loved Adrian immediately. His experience with dogs is evident and he’s helped not only with walks and overnight care but for training as well. Oreo’s leash reactivity has significantly improved and he gave me great tips for other things outside the reactivity issue. It’s been such a great help have someone I can trust with my dog and is so accommodating, whereas other places in the area couldn’t guarantee my dog would be walked by the same person and in the timeframe I wanted. I will definitely continue to use Adrian and Premium Pets Service!

Adrian has been a Godsend for me and Pinot. Even though I work from home, sometimes I don’t have the time to take my pup out, and Adrian is very reliable and flexible with me. Pinot adores him, and he’s respectful and trustworthy to have him pick my pup even if I’m not home. I highly recommend him. His prices are great, he’s always available and usually responds with an hour. He also has a handy app that makes booking walks and paying for them SUPER easy.

Adrian is great! He is always super responsive and reliable. I know that our dog will be well cared for and safe without being put into any compromising situations when she is with Adrian. My dog is my baby, and Adrian treats him like his own. My pup is so excited every time he sees him. In addition to being someone my dog loves, he’s also VERY good at getting him to obey regular commands and even responds to behavior correcting commands as well. Adrian has even given me tips on how to handle other interactions with dogs. I love that i get a report every day on how my baby did and it even comes with a gps map of where they walked and a pic! I never worry because I know he’s in good hands. A part of my plans in the future will include making sure Premium Pets is still able to be my go-to for dog care. Can’t say enough good things.

I’ve always wanted a puppy, but I was not sure if I was up to the task as a first-time dog owner. After taking a leap of faith and adopting a two-month old German Shepherd mix, I found myself in over my head. In addition to the regular puppy problems like potty training and trying to avoid those needle teeth bites, after a visit to the vet we found out that our dog was infected not with just one, but four different types of parasites, as well as kennel cough. At this point we were questioning whether rescuing a puppy was the right decision. We decided to get a dog walker just to get some of that puppy energy out. We chose Dave and Bhakti because it was obvious that they loved animals and worked with them for a long time. However, we had no idea that in addition to the regular walks and optional hikes, we would also benefit from their expert medical and behavioral advice. Dave and Bhakti became our closest confidantes in everything relating to our puppy’s health and growth: from her diet to the best gear. They helped us navigate through our puppy’s health problems, survive the teething phase, as well as her neutering recovery time. When we panicked, they gave us healthy perspective on how our puppy was doing and kept us grounded when we were doubting our abilities. In addition to walks and hikes, Dave and Bhakti provided last-minute boarding for our dog when my husband and I needed to go away for a week on a short notice. Sometimes we joke that they are our puppy’s god parents. I would recommend Dave and Bhakti’s services to anyone who has a dog or a cat – from first-time owners, to seasoned pet parents.

I found RxTRA Care right after I had my first child and couldn't get out to walk our spirited, attention seeking dog. Daily reliable walks quickly turned into hiking adventures (with follow up photos that I LOVE) for our black lab and I'm not sure who is happier, the dog or me. Dave and Bhakti are professional, friendly and incredibly reliable. It's also helpful and reassuring to know that they have vet tech backgrounds in case anything were to come up. They're quick to respond if I need to travel for work at the last minute and always go above and beyond to accommodate us. I'm so grateful to have found them!

I recently hired RxTRA CARE Pet Sitting Service to take care of my four cats while I was out of town. They did a wonderful job caring for all of my cats, as well as administering much needed medication to my difficult and somewhat moody elderly kitty. They were extremely professional with excellent communication via their modern and efficient online system. Everyday I received updates with a checklist of everything that had been done, as well as pictures! When I arrived home my cats were calm, well-fed and everything was clean. Never once did I worry about my cats or home while away!

My experience with RxTRA CARE Pet Sitting has been absolutely wonderful from the first phone call up until present day. I have left my physically special needs dog in their care overnight, while vacationing, various times. The combination of love and knowledge they have in caring for animals is priceless! Until I met them, I have never gone away and not worried about my pets. It is such an amazing feeling to be so relaxed! Also, my dog who is timid with everyone absolutely loves and trusts them.

Bhakti was wonderful with my cats today! They both are very friendly cats but dislike getting their nails done! Lol It was great that she was able to come to my home, instead of taking them to the vet which is such a hassle! Bhakti Made them feel at ease and was able to get it done in no time! Our kitties are our babies, and when we were gone for our Honeymoon for 8 nights, we knew they were in good hands. We got pictures and more during daily updates! When we returned home, our two furbabies were happy as could be. One of our cats is extremely nervous, and we were anxious to leave him because he hides and has trouble adjusting to any changes. David and Bhakti were wonderful with him, and even managed to get pictures of him just to make sure he was doing okay! When we got home, he adjusted faster than he ever has, and we know it's because of the wonderful, genuine care he got while we were away. Thank you so much! I used to travel a lot for business, often at last minute, or had to stay in city late for a biz meal. So when I recently learned that my cat had diabetes and required 2x a day insulin shots, exactly 10-12 hours apart for the rest of his life, I honestly wept in the vet's office. How would I ever manage this--or the cost? My vet recommended a few (very expensive) people who could come in to give cat shots but when first trip arrived, they weren't available, only confirming my fears this was about be a never-ending, logistical nightmare. But one of the unavailable sitters recommended RxTRA CARE. David and Bhakti were able to come over on very short notice to go over my cat's needs. They were so professional and knowledgeable (given their own vet/medical experience) and such lovely, warm people, I was suddenly encouraged. Their rates are extremely reasonable. But the very best thing is how easy they've made using their service through their website. You can book appts online--a feature I love (as I often plan travel late in evenings). You can also pay online--no more frantic trips to bank to get cash as you're trying to get out of town. Absolute best part is they log every visit to your home on the website with a quick journal entry and a pic of your pet, so you know exactly when they've been there. The pics of my cat, which hilariously capture his many moods, are the icing on cake. And when I had a question, they responded in about 15 minutes. Easy peasy--truly the best. I'm writing this review becuz I am DESPERATE for this company to thrive so I can rely on it for the rest of my cat's life! Most pet owners don't need my standard of care, but it's clear they can do everything: walk dogs, pet grooming, check in on regular cats (who just need food and litter scooped). and should your pet get sick, they have the expertise to handle it. These are great people offering a great service.

Best one stop shop in the area! I initially inquired to bring my pup Ace for grooming, and Nicole was kind enough to set up our profile and get us on the schedule for the next day! I was greeted by the general manager Don, who was such a great help in introducing me to the facility and sharing all the info I needed. Our groomer Ebonie was amazing! She was very detailed and Ace came out so happy and handsome. Rebecca and Michelle helped us at checkout and answered all my questions about other services they provide. Overall an excellent place to bring my little guy. So happy. Thank you!

We have been taking our dog, Masha, to pups at play since we got her 4 years ago. She's always excited to go and the staff at Pups is so sweet with her! They really care about the dogs, and the convenience is great (right by the Walnut train station) - easy for pick up or drop off if we're coming or going to the city.

I rarely write reviews, but when I do I highlight value for all customers to be aware of. Very simply said - the team does a great job. My little crackhead comes home safe and tired out… at least for the days “appointments” are available. It’s disappointing they’re “fully booked” every day past 10am. Tricky for the folks that work later in the day. It’d be ideal to expand the facility or hire more staff. Can’t restrict business - that’s the point of having one.

We have been going to Pups at Play for years and it’s been okay. This review is a result of the most incredible experience I had last night with Michelle and Howard. This is for them!! Enroute to come pick up my sweet girl, I was caught in massive, massive traffic due to a terrible accident on route 80 in PA. This left me in bumper to bumper traffic for 3 hours, going far past the closing time of daycare. Since my sweet girl has very strict medication, leaving her for an impromptu overnight is just not an option. Michelle was incredible to work with helped me find a solution, as well as navigating traffic from the maps she could see on her desktop!!! Howard stayed late for me and welcomed me in to scoop my girl close to 9pm. So incredibly understanding as I was a wreck and never had been in this situation before. I cannot thank them enough. They are the BEST and it’s employees like them that will keep us coming back to Pups at Play. MICHELLE AND HOWARD FOR THE WIN!!

This place is a heaven for fur babies. Most reliable so far in my experience. I had to travel for 10 days and I had never left my 14 months golden retriever so I was super nervous. But when I found Pups@play montclair, all my worries were put to rest. Masti (my dog) had the best time here and the team send photos and videos every single day which I was always eagerly waiting for to see how he was doing. Masti had the best time of play and it also made him more calmer after he came home because now he is more comfortable with other dogs. Pups@play not only took a great care of him but also gave him peanut butter kong which is Masti's absolute favorite. Best part about this place is, your fur baby is not caged all day along but instead they are having a constant play time and the team is 100% monitoring them. If you are looking for dog summer camp/ slumber party style, this is your place. I highly recommend this place and Masti has definitely found his boarding slumber party place if ever I have to travel.

My dog Chocolate is in love with Pups@Play staff and clients. He has been at day care and boarding and is so happy every time he attends a program at your facility. There is something magical about this place. Lucky us, that we found such a beautiful, loving environment for Chocolate. Thank you! Where are we at with Pups and Play? Chocolate loves every minute of his time with human and dog friends. We have a quiet home and Chocolate loves dogs. The second we tell him he is on his way to doggie day care, he is right at the door. Chocolate is the greatest dog that ever existed, keeping in mind, we are his caretakers. Chocolate feels that when he is at this facility, he is the best. He feels loved, and can run and jump and is watched over by a group with a twinkle in their eyes when they look at the dogs in their care. Have a wonderful holiday and Chocolate looks forward to many fun times with you all.

Ziggy barks and jumps with excitement just hearing the words “Pups at Play”. I know he has fun, plays hard and is well looked after. The staff knows him well and genuinely cares about him! We love P@P! EDITED DECEMBER 2023 Going from 5 stars to 1 star! Pups has gone downhill ever since Destination Pet took over the place. They have gotten rid of their loving and caring staff, amend policies that made for puppy parent convenience and overall just is no longer the warm friendly place it used to be. Sadly, we will not be returning to Pups in Montclair anymore.

Booked a stay for late August back on July 25. Our first time using Pups @ Play. Today—August 7, 2 weeks after the booking was made—We receive an email that Pups @ Play is unfortunately booked up through Labor Day and no new reservations can be accommodated. So I say to myself, "Well, dang! Great that they're busy, and I'm sure glad I booked my stay on July 25!" Turns out, they meant me! It took them TWO WEEKS to tell me they were booked up, the whole time I'd thought I had a reservation booked. How could a pet boarding business be that ignorant of their book that they didn't realize until 2 weeks later they were overbooked? What an awful first impression. Perhaps this was a blessing in disguise, but now I'm in a tight spot because I have to try and find boarding for my pup two weeks out from our trip. Thanks for nothing, Pups @ Play. The search for a reliable pet boarding service in North Jersey continues.

NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!! If I could give it zero stars I would. I’m already an anxious dog owner as it is. I had to board my 2 small dogs for 6 days. The woman at the front desk supposedly wrote in my file my one and only simple request and they still didn’t do it. I was fuming!!!! Not to mention they want to charge for every tiny thing like an Instagram photo???? Wow. Do not ever board your dogs here . To the manager, or owner, I will be more than glad to explain my entire experience with you in private if it comes down to it.
