I cannot recommend this service enough! The staff are always so helpful and have been so patient with Brucie and his separation anxiety. Brucie loves going on his walks, I love the reports we get after the walk to see how he has got on.... although today there was traffic issues when I receive these pictures I can truly see how much the staff love the doggies and really enjoy their jobs! Fabulous grooming service. So happy to discover that HPCS offer this. Our Cavapoochon always comes out happy and looking gorgeous. Great teeth cleaning process too. Chloe is lovely. Highly recommend.

Mabel has been going out for weekly walks for over a year now. She loves getting together with other dogs and gets so excited when the van pulls onto our driveway. I highly recommend heathers pet care services and always mention them to other dog owners.

Just finished Heathers pet services puppy classes as Rosemary Lodge. We really enjoyed the sessions and my pup and I will both benefit from what we have learnt. Sophie N was fantastic. She is really engaging, knowledgeable and always ready to answer any questions separate from the lesson content. I wasn’t looking forward to being out on a cold Wednesday evening but am now sad it’s finished. Would def recommend. Will be looking to book some of Heather’s other pet services.

We did not have the best experience with Heather’s Pet Services. We genuinely appreciated how understanding and hard working the staff were, however the customer service really let us and our two cats down. I understand this is a predominantly dog-centred service, but we were assured they could look after Persian cats and their additional specific needs. We were extremely anxious about leaving our cats alone, to the point that it’s prevented us from taking trips since before the pandemic. It took a few visits for them to get used to these and I took particular care to update our information in their online portal. After each visit we could tell the staff really took on our feedback, which was amazing. However, on arriving home after the last two visits, we found one or both cats had become unwell and left unpleasant smells and messes to attend to, definitely not a nice environment to come home to after being away. After letting customer service know about this, the response was very unsympathetic and unprofessional. We were blamed for their errors and told we were at fault for making a staff member ill with the feedback we gave previously. I have never come across a business take so little responsibility for the quality of their services (at frankly extortionate prices) or the wellbeing of their staff, and I was particularly shocked by the lack of interest in the wellbeing of our cats after the final visit. Unfortunately, we would not feel safe leaving our cats under their supervision again.

About 5 years ago our cockapoo Barney began to get very agitated whilst being groomed. This got steadily worse to the point that the groomer said they would not be able to groom him without him being sedated…. We did this reluctantly, as we hated the effect the drugs had on him. I was chatting it through with the vet as this had been going on for a couple of years and I felt that it could not be good to do this as Barney was nearing 9. A number of people mentioned that Heather’s pets had a lady who was a trained dog behaviourist and wonderfully patient grooming team. I felt it was worth a go although did wonder if the saying ‘ you cannot teach an old dog new tricks’ would be validated! Sophie a trained dog behaviourist and Chloe the chief groomer have worked wonders- between them they have taken time with Barney to ensure he is comfortable with them and in their grooming room. They have cared for him and eased him in gradually to being able to be first washed and cleaned with them and now groomed without any sedation at all! It is such a relief and I am so grateful- they always reassured me too that I was not being a paranoid dog owner and that it would be worth taking this time- and it certainly has been. We are all so thankful they are fantastic!

My dog has been having regular weekly walks with the staff at heathers pet care services. Mabel loves being collected and going out with a group of dogs. The staff are dedicated animal lovers and take great care of your pets. Mabel has a brilliant bond with whichever walker she has and get super excited when she sees them walk up our path. Heather’s Pet Care Services is fantastic! I attended the puppy training classes & found them to be really informative, interactive & supportive. Sophie led the classes & found her to be really professional, helpful & so knowledgeable! I also take my dog along to their pet groomer Chloe, who has been amazing with her & always do a fantastic groom. My dog was not keen with being groomed, however in Chloe’s care, we haven’t looked back! I thoroughly recommend you use Heather’s Pet care Services for all your pet needs!

We have only positive things to say about both Sophie and Heathers Pet Care Services. We arranged some 121 sessions with Sophie for our little Cockapoo recently - and Sophie was so friendly, knowledgeable and Sophie made every session exciting. Our Cockapoo was so entertained, and we've taken all the training notes, games and general advice moving forwards and we can't wait to use the services again. Thanks again :)

We have used Heathers for a number of years now for group walking, grooming, puppy training and 121 dog training. They are all excellent and the online booking system is very helpful. Would highly recommend to any dog owners in Bath area.

The two photos attached to this review would have been unimaginable three months ago before we started our 1-2-1 training with Andrew. We have been struggling with our dog’s reactivity to other dogs and sometimes humans, in particular cyclists and runners, since adopting him. We have tried training with two previous trainers before Andrew and had little success. We spent the last twelve weeks with Andrew following his guidance and training, which focused on us learning to be better dog owners and engaging with the dog. Andrew was patient and very clear with the training including the needs of the dog. While it hasn’t been easy it has been incredibly rewarding. No longer do we need to wake up at the crack of dawn to walk the dog or have to be on the constant look out for other dogs. Walking the dog has now become an enjoyable experience and we have both become a lot more confident dog owners. We know our training doesn’t stop here and we ourselves have to carry the baton, but we are happy the future is bright thanks to Andrew and his training.

We can not rate Woodborough and the staff there highly enough. We have two rescue dogs and one of them is reactive to other dogs, so deciding what day care and kennel option to use was a very important decision. The staff at Woodborough have been fantastic, the dogs welfare is their top priority and they are very knowledgeable. Our dogs are happy to go back which speaks volumes.

I just wanted to post to warn everyone of what a horrible and unpleasant man, Andrew Rowley from Woodborough Kennels is. I had heard a few good things about the kennels, so called about my nervous rescue dog. I'm shaking after the call. He basically laughed at me when I first told him I had a nervous foreign rescue, "so you brought a wild animal over and expect it to be ok", and then when I told him my dog was on vet prescribed medication completely turned on me and told me I was cruel, horrible and stupid for deciding to take in 'a wild animal' and 'drugging it so it's like a zombie'. We have a nervous greek rescue, who has come on so amazingly thanks to daily hard work, working with a behaviourist and the support of reconcile (fluoxetine - not a decision we took lightly, but one we decided to try after 6 months and have seen incredible improvements), he is improving every day and is certainly not drooling or sedated. I want to warn people about a very unpleasant man and kennel facility with very outdated and judgemental views. What a horrible, horrible person.

We were apprehensive about boarding our dog for the first time and Woodborough came highly recommended. The communication throughout his stay was great with regular pictures and updates. We are so happy to have found a safe place our boy can stay when we need it.

My dog needed some medical treatment whilst boarding, I cannot say strongly enough how amazing the staff were (especially Amy). Arranged treatment, took him to the vet and kept me fully informed. Definitely recommend. Thank you so much

Have used these kennels several times and my dogs love it as they get lots of play time and the kennels are heated. The staff are all friendly and polite. Not quite a home from home but a second best!

I would highly recommend Woodborough Kennels. I put Eddie in day care from about 4 months old and he absolutely loved it. He was given lots of attention and exercise and always came home exhausted. We then progressed to Stay and Train Day Care in conjunction with one to one training. Andrew and Amy were absolutely brilliant. They explained the rationale behind the various training exercises, provided supporting printouts and helped me understand how the various methods worked. Their YouTube training videos are also really helpful as a reminder of what we learned (Eddie loves watching them too!). Thank you so much from one very well-behaved dog and one very happy owner!

We could not recommend Pawfections service more! Sharn has looked after our two cats on two occasions when we've left for holiday and we have been totally at ease knowing she was coming along to feed them, spend some time with them and just making sure everything was okay! Sharn goes above and beyond, sending photo and video updates and giving them some treats when she visits! We will for sure be calling her back every time we go away!

Fantastic walking service. Raquel treated Snowy as if he was her own and always gives good knowledgeable advice when we asked questions about his care. He absolutely loves her and loves walking with Marla. I highly recommend Pawfections - I couldn't have asked for better people to help walk Snowy.

Sharn has recently looked after my two young cats for the first time. She was amazing at winning their confidence and l returned home to two very happy cats. She sent me videos everyday and even dealt with a shrew that found it’s way into the house ! A first class service, highly recommended 🥰 …

Sharn has been so incredible checking in on my little kitten! He has grown rather fond of her, and I actually suspect prefers her to me! I love receiving updates after her visits, and I am genuinely reassured that my little boy is happy, fed, and played with. I couldn't recommend enough!!

We have been very pleased to be able to trust Sharn to look after our dogs and cats whilst we have been away. She also affectionately calls our dogs 'the bears'. We have a very positive and amicable relationship and communication between ourselves is effective at all times, which includes discussions around our needs and timings needed but also regular updates and photos when we are away. We feel it is reassuring to know that someone is there to check in and keep company to our pets whilst we are not at home. Sharn is also a huge pet lover and our animals definitely feel this connection with her. She gives them plenty of affection, and it is clear that my pets enjoy when she comes round to stay with them. This is definitely the kind of approach that we are looking for when leaving our pets to go on holiday, someone we can trust and who also became part of the pet's environment, with the reassurance that everything is under control! Finally, we always appreciate the little extra things that Sharn does like picking up parcels or cleaning up the cat litter tray. A first rate service in our opinion!

Raquel and her team provide a fabulous service which our 3 dogs benefit from. As Raquel was a veterinary nurse she can also help with any issues your pet may have which is really helpful too. Our Labrador Millie was bred from her dog, and she is a joy. Would highly recommend.

Vickie is just amazing. Daisy my cat took to her almost instantly, despite being wary of strangers. Vickies lunch visits while I'm away in the office add so much peace of mind and i always get a text to let me know Daisys ok. Vickie manages to visit even on short notice. We have used Vickie to look after our cat when we are away since moving into the area a couple of years ago. Our cat suffers from stress related urinary issues and can get nervous around new people but she took to Vickie very quickly and we have always felt she is in safe hands. We receive regular updates and videos which show that she is very at ease with Vickie. I would thoroughly recommend Harris Paws!

Vickie looked after our cat, tortoise, 2 guinea pigs and fish whilst we went on holiday for a week. We have regular communication and the pets were so settled. Our cat loved her morning and evening cuddles and keeping her to get routine really reduced her stress. We would definitely use Harris paws again and really recommend their service.

Vicky has been looking after our cats for three weeks and she has been wonderful. Great at communicating with us regularly and the cats looked so happy and settled when we came back. As a vet I'm very fussy about who looks after my cats (who are both incredibly spoiled). I used Harris Paws over Christmas after a recommendation and couldn't have been happier. Our cats were very well looked after (they can worry with strangers but updates from Vickie let me know that they were showing their normal relaxed behavior, getting cuddles and demanding food!). I can't recommend Harris Paws highly enough!

Vickie and Stuart of Paw Pals Shepton Mallet are brilliant with our cockapoo Coco! They have been with her ever since she was a tiny pup - they are like an extra family to her. We always wanted a dog but worried about the commitment on the days I work, but its so reassuring for us and Coco to know that she'll be walked and looked after when we can't be there. Nothing is too much trouble and they have helped with her training too. They have been so accommodating, calling in when plans have changed last minute and boarding and evenings too. Plus I love the text messages they send to let us know what they've been up to with her! Thank you both so much, we couldn't have a Coco in our lives without your help.

Sarah was absolutely perfect, friendly and caring. We kept in touch daily and knew what Jock was up to with the photos attached to every message. He was very happy, has been looked after for almost 2 weeks and enjoyed house visits with the walks around the areas he knows well. We will definitely be going to use Midsomer Mutts services again.

Sarah has built an amazing team who are all a credit. My JR Millie, is well looked after in their care and loves her group and 1:1 walks. I love the photos of her adventures and so happy to see how much she enjoys herself.

We are first time dog owners and Skye has thrived through attending doggy day care weekly. The care and attention she gets is fantastic and I love the regular updates seeing her having fun with the other dogs. Holidays have always been important to us and was nervous leaving Skye overnight. I had no need to worry, the luxury boarding service is amazing, tailored to our needs for Skye providing us with reassurance that Skye is happy and well looked after whilst we are away. I cannot recommend Willsbridge Walkies enough for the brilliant service and care provided for the dogs.

Willsbridge Walkies has been fantastic for us in the bringing up of our pup. At first we thought the doggy day care was for us to have a day off each week. However, we have come to realise that Mabel has thrived and is so well socialised now with other dogs. She is always so excited when we pull up on the drive and is always welcomed in with such love. It is a lovely location and they have a great setup there. The regular photos sent throughout the day are brilliant and we especially like the team photo of all the dogs together that are there each day. I can highly recommend Doggy Day Care Bath. We have been using the service for over a year and Will has always been thoroughly reliable and trustworthy. He has always been swift to respond to messages and it's clear that our doggy has absolutely loved his day out with Will and his doggy friends.

This was the first time I had entrusted my overgrown pup to outside help and I couldn't have been happier or more impressed than I was with Anna and Will of Bath Doggy Daycare. They obviously love dogs and are dedicated to giving their guests the best quality time. What's more, they were exceptionally professional and responsive and kept me up to date with photos and updates, which meant that I could go about my business knowing that Tammy was in the best hands. I would have no hesitation in recommending Anna and Will.

Bath Doggy Daycare surpassed my expectations! My doggy did many activities and walks and was looked after with care and love. There were even photos and a report card. My dog was unbelievably happy after her days with Anna and Will and the doggy gang. In fact she sat at the door waiting for them the following day. Anna and Will were also reliable and very accommodating with pick up and collection. I am telling all my friends about this service!

We have had such a wonderful experience with Anna and Will. Our very large (slightly stubborn) seven month old puppy has been looked after beautifully by them both and has become best friends with their own dog. They are very professional and clearly know what they are doing but what is so obvious is that they really care for the dogs they look after. Our puppy is now going to them for regular day care and for boarding when needed (which was a great experience) and comes home very happy each and every time. They provide lots of photos during the day and feedback. Big thanks from us

Found this pets' heaven on route to Wales this summer From the moment i enquired we knew we were in a good place. We took our queens (chickens) were super happy with everything on offer. Nicky loves for animals reflect on everything at Pip's Pods. We came back in September for more boarding. Highly highly recommend

Great experience, place is very comfortable for small pets, my two boys enjoyed their time there while we were on a short brake. Highly recommended, Nicky was extremely friendly and gave us confident our bunnies were going to be looked after properly. Over and above what I expected. Will use again

Nicky is absolutely lovely and clearly adores animals. Our two guinea pigs were very well looked after and obviously enjoyed their holiday at Pip’s Pods! Highly recommended!

Smudge, our mini Rex rabbit, came home very relaxed after a week being looked after by Nicky and her daughters. He had plenty of outdoor space and his pod was cosy for him. Nicky’s set up is very secure and she was very welcoming. I would thoroughly recommend her.

I couldn’t recommend Nicky at Pip’s Pods highly enough. She was so warm and friendly via email, answering all my questions promptly and thoroughly, and setting a mad guinea pig lady’s mind at ease! She thoroughly spoilt both my boys whilst they were with her, providing the most beautiful indoor and outdoor accommodation as well as a range of herbs and veggies for them to munch on. I was concerned about them in the heat as it was pushing 30 degrees when they stayed with her, but Nicky was so reassuring, messaging me to tell me when she’d checked on the pigs and sending me pictures of them having fun! I don’t know what she did with one of my piggies but she somehow managed to change him from a grumpy guinea to a much more cheerful version when I collected him! I think he needs to stay more often! I thoroughly recommend choosing Pip’s Pods for your small animal care when you go away - it couldn’t have been better.

I was really struggling to find decent boarding for our rabbit Jarrod as most sites were either breeders who happened to have a couple of spare hutches or were boarders advertising spacious accommodation only to find that the boarding was in small hutches staked 4 high in a shed! how lucky we were to find Pips Pods run by Nicky. Nicky has a lovely country home and will only house a few animals at a time (I say animals as she boards more than just rabbits). our Jarrod is a house rabbit but appeared more than happy with his outdoor accommodation and had a large outdoor space to stretch his legs. Nicky is an obvious animal lover as you will see for your self when you visit. Jarrod was treated to fresh greens every day and Nicky even went out of her way to bake him some banana treats. When it came to collection time Jarrod he appeared very happy and relaxed, I'm sure he could talk he would have been asking to stay a little longer!!!. I've never felt comfortable booking a holiday and leaving my pets in somebody else's care, however was so impressed with Pips pods we have already booked Jarrod's boarding for next summer and will have no issues leaving him with Nicky if we ever felt like a weekend away. I cannot rate Pip's Pods highly enough, a great service, great animal care and very under priced for the service provided. I would advise booking pips pods as early as you can as quality boarding is hard to find and is likely to book up fast.

Lovely local place for my 3 hens to board, whilst we took a holiday. Very clean and tidy, hens have plenty of space to roam about and came back looking very healthy. Had the added bonus of Nicky keeping their eggs for us when we came back. Would certainly recommend as a great place to look after your pets whilst you are away.

We were very happy with our experience keeping our 5 hens here whilst our garden was being redone. Email booking was very responsive and the owner was very understanding with our needs as it was unpredictable exactly how long we would need to stay with ongoing garden works being done. Drop offs and pick ups were also very flexible. Very impressed with the space and Nicky was very friendly and knowledgeable with hens, which reassured us that they were staying in the right place. Would definitely recommend.

Nicki has taken care of our rabbits during our holidays as well as us and even better. She considered our bunnies like hers and finally they have spent as good holidays as us. We are very grateful of her work. We are not going to hesitate to let our rabbits again next time to her. Very good service.

Nicky is a thoughtful, caring lady who loves all animals furry, feathered and, I suspect, otherwise! 😃 We boarded our 6 hens and 5 quail at Pip's Pods and just through our first message contact I felt an instant peace of mind. Nicky responds quickly and with understanding, no question too daft! She has spectacular pods in a big lush green acre (correct me if it's bigger?) containing big covered avaries with wonderful Omelet and locally made quality housing, coops, hutches etc, including smaller Omelet homes for the littlies. We were very comfortable having our birds to stay at Pip's Pods and they will go there for their holiday again when we next go away. Thank you Nicky! 👌 From Beki and Graham

Livy and her wonderful family have been boarding my dogs at their lovely home for at least 6 years. They are always well cared for and I can relax when I’m on holiday as my dogs are taken into their family home and treated like part of the family. Scally Waggers Dog Care Service is definitely 5 star! I contacted Livi when Dougie (our giant golden doodle) was just a puppy, due to Dougie’s size and over friendly nature we had to ensure we found the right doggy day care and boarding service who was comfortable with larger dogs. Livi instantly put my mind at ease and arranged a meet and greet. During the meet and greet Doug had a chance to play with the other dogs whilst Livi observed to make sure we were all comfortable. Dougie instantly looked relaxed, that was 6 years ago and we could not be more pleased, Doug gets so excited when he sees Livi and the whole family - they treat him as part of their family whilst he’s with them it’s a real home from home, I often get the impression when I pick him up that he doesn’t want to leave as he’s had such a lovely time. Livi is loving but firm which is exactly what Dougie needs. Dougie sadly started having the occasional seizure when he was 3yrs old, Livi has been great during these times giving so much support and advice. It certainly puts our minds at ease and means we can go on holiday without having to worry about Dougie as we know he’s having so much fun with Livi and the family, plus during Dougie’s stays we see on the Scally Waggers Facebook page pictures of the adventures they have during his walks, usually playing with Livi’s own dog Sid! I honestly cannot recommend them enough!

Amazing service ! Always goes the extra mile with walking and boarding ! I’ve never ever had to Worry one second when away on holiday or at work , in fact my dog gets luxuriously Pampered every time she goes to livs, and has her own little holiday herself ! Just the best at what she does , so trustworthy , so adaptable and reliable . I cannot recommend her enough in all aspects of canine care she offers

Livi looked after our Weimaraner brilliantly and it meant I could go away and not worry about him. He doesn’t like to be parted from me but he settled well. She was able to accommodate special requirements for walking and sleeping with no problem and I would highly recommend Scally Waggers

Livi @ Scally Waggers has provided excellent loving care for our springer who absolutely loves her time there with the family, almost home from home! Text and photo updates were so welcome and gave us complete peace of mind that all was well and our pooch was happy and very well looked after. I can highly recommend Livi.

My Dog Griffin loves Livi A LOT. I think he sometimes likes her more than, and he loves going to stay. Livi makes sure Griffin is happy, well looked after, well walked and loved. Wonderful woman and wonderful service

Whether it’s an over night stay or a whole week, Otis loves his own little holiday away from home because it’s just that a home away from home. He loves being part of the family and gets on with whichever other dogs are there. I wouldn’t let him holiday anywhere else. Super super care.

My Yorkshire Terrier has stayed with Livi a number of times. I can go away and not worry about him. Worth every penny!

We Love Pets has provided a very reliable and flexible dog walking service whose was exactly what we needed with a busy working schedule. Our walker Chloe obviously has a great relationship with our dog as he is always excited to see her.

The team at We Love Pets Trowbridge does an amazing job. They are timely, work with short notice in almost all cases, and they are great taking care of our cat when we're away. Very highly recommended!

I've been using we love pets for a number of years now and they've been fantastic. I've 3 cats and I always feel they're in safe hands and will get little updates when I'm away and always come home to 3 happy cats. The team are amazing.

I don't think I've ever left a negative review before but.. It was good the first time for our spaniel. But the second time was awful. Had done skinny legs, ears length was different, they had cut all her eyebrow lashes and whiskers off which are now growing awkwardly now curling in her eye (they don't effect her health though right?) Definitely wasn't a show cocker cut like I had asked. I shouldn't have paid even though I said at the time that was a lot shorter than I had agreed but I just couldn't get over it. So I then contacted them to say I wasn't happy. Basically was told it was my fault? For over £50 I'd expect them to groom her, not just basically shave everything off which is NOT what you do with a show type. Didn't receive a refund as I was fed up with arguing. Was so expensive for what was done. No offence but I could have done that. Do not recommend.

I highly recommend this dog groomers. My dogs come home looking and smelling amazing. The ladies are very pleasant and interested in the dogs background. The pricing of treatments is very reasonable especially with the cost of living going up. Highly recommend supporting this lovely business.

Milo is a big dog, no doubt about it. Anna at we love pets hasn't been fazed by this and has been absolutely fantastic with him for his walks. Occasionally we have been home to see how excited he gets when she arrives to take him out. We're even more happy to see how tired out he is when he gets home. Not to mention the price for a one to one walk is really good. Very good value for money! So far our experience with We Love Pets has been fantastic. I'm sure they will continue to impress.

Our little dog has just had a trial stay with Susie at Greenacres. We were quite anxious about leaving her for the first time but she seemed to settle and slept all the way home after enjoying the freedom of Susie’s paddocks.

Thanks Susie, Bonnie seems like she had a great stay and I appreciated the daily video updates. I'm really glad to have her back home again but I think she will miss your fields until her next stay!

I had a mixed experience boarding our 8 month old puppy at Greenacres. We were out of the country and whilst we received daily videos I was contacted after a few days to inform me my dog had jumped up on a table and broken a ‘favourite mug’. I apologised and offered to replace it. I was perplexed when informed it was a mug widely available on Amazon (which I purchased & had sent to Susie the next day). This was unsettling given that I’d been reassured when I booked, that my lively pup could be managed. It was a relief to collect my pup only to receive a disappointingly negative handover from the member of staff. This added to my unease. The dog was defensive and unsettled for 72 hours after returning home. I’ve since found out a couple of acquaintances had similar experiences at Greenacres with their dogs being a nuisance, jumping up and breaking things.

Suzy is great with our dogs...they both had a lovely time there. We were able to go and enjoy our holiday knowing the dogs were well cared for and entertained with their various new dog friends. Thanks Suzy.

My dog stayed here for 3 days. We were on holiday and needed a place for sparky to stay during the day while we visited places,where dogs were not allowed. Susie is so lovely and sent videos of him on walks and playing with other dogs .. thank you for helping us and would highly recommend her service ..

Susie .is just wonderful with my dog. Lots of walks and fun. Susie got a swimming pool when the weather was hot for the dogs. Susie sends lots of pictures and videos. Lovely lady.
