Shaina was a great sitter for my cat Lionel. She was great with communicating before the sit and was willing to come meet me in person before the sit. She also kept me updated throughout the sit, with photos and little notes. When I returned home the flat was tidy and Lionel seemed happy!
It was my first time using zeewoi so I was slightly apprehensive, but as soon as I heard from Kendra I knew both my cat and my apartment would be in safe hands. Kendra was great with communicating and coming back quickly, very friendly and clearly experienced with sitter jobs. Whilst staying at my place she sent me regular updates. Once I returned home the flat was spotless. I would highly recommend Kendra and I would certainly use her again. She’s great!
Hilary was a fantastic pet sitter for our cat - you would be so lucky to have her care for your pet and home. She took exceptional care of her and our home. Hilary played so much with her and took the best care. She was communicative, easy to coordinate with, and left everything super clean for us when we came back. Five stars is understating how extraordinary she was - we cannot recommend her enough!!
Becca was fantastic - we cannot say enough about how great she is as a pet and house sitter and as a human being! Becca committed to the sit 8 months in advance and was great with her responsiveness in communication during the long lead up to the sit. She arrived early and got the low downs on the animals and house stuff prior to us leaving. She woke up crazy early to help us get to the airport and picked us up when we returned, which made the traveling so much easier on our end. She left the house spot-less (and this is no exaggeration), with the linens cleaned, and a wonderful meal waiting for us upon our return. She is an absolute gem of a person with a great sense of humor and a kind and compassionate nature, and she really enjoys the animals in her care. Our dog and cat were very well cared for and totally at ease upon our return. If you are lucky enough to have Becca sit for you, you will be very pleased at how well she does the job!
Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. I would definitely recommend Brian.
Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.
Lindsey watched our cat and dog for a long weekend when we went out of town. She was a very communicative sitter sending frequent pictures and voice notes with updates. She did a great job of following their schedules and giving them attention. The animals seemed to be happy and relaxed when we returned home and I believe Lindsey enjoyed getting to discover all of the eateries our town has to offer. A win-win for everyone!
Karen was an extraordinary house and pet sitter who I hope to invite back again soon. You would be extremely fortunate to have her take care of your pets and home. From the very beginning she radiated calmness, knowledge, caring and curiosity. We had a great initial conversation where Karen answered questions I didn't even know I should be asking, and asked excellent questions so she could be prepared and understand the special needs for both my cat and home. She flew into my city the day before I was leaving and stayed at a nearby hostel so that we could meet in person and do a walk through of my home. They say pets have an intuitive nature about people, and I knew Karen would be a winner when my normally very shy/nervous cat came right up and let her pet him. Karen sent wonderful pictures and updates while I was gone and asked questions when she wasn't sure about something. When I returned home everything was spotless and my cat was content. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better house sitter experience. Thank you Karen!
Jose was a wonderful pet/house sitter for us recently. We highly recommend him. He was wonderfully reliable and responsible and took such good care of our two pets. On short notice Jose drove down from Grass Valley to the East Bay for a bit of a quiet get-away while working a really hard job teaching online. We know how hard that is firsthand and partly why we needed our own get-away for a last-minute backpacking trip. We have a recently rescued pit bull and a rescued cat that we're still introducing to each other to make sure the dog doesn't eat the cat (as he seems to want to), and the cat doesn't blind the dog (as she would if he tried to eat her). That might be more background than is needed in a review but Jose made us feel comfortable about everything because of how conscientious and responsible he clearly is. We could tell when we talked to him that he was genuinely kind and eminently trustworthy. We are very grateful and hope Jose was happy with everything too because we know what a value his care was to us. Jose truly deserves any and all house-sitting gigs that strike his interest. Ours was not the easiest and he was amazing. Get him if you can.
Kristi was an exceptional house / pet sitter and we appreciate her being so flexible as were not sure how long our vacation was going to be. She was prompt, courteous, and even drove up the weekend before to meet with us. She took great care of our house and our dog snd cats loved her. I would highly recommended her.

I took my 3 dogs here for one night. I’ve never put them in a kennel before but I couldn’t find anyone to watch them. The price for 3 dogs I found to be very reasonable. Forrest, the man who runs the facility is incredibly kind and extremely knowledgeable about dogs. He kept my dogs together in one big kennel. and kept them separate from other dogs as my one can be a little reactive. I got a video of them playing in the giant play yard on their own. Upon pick up my dogs were very tired as they had a 3 hour play time in a private yard. I would definitely bring them here again in the future. Kennels aren’t my favorite I know it can be very stressful for them. And even though the kennels themselves were a little out dated. I felt comfortable leaving them with Forrest.
The crew at Treetops is amazing. We came into Cochrane after taking a break from Fort McMurray while on an evacuation alert. We called treetops to see if they could fit our two large dogs in and they said sure! Even though it was the long weekend, the were able to accommodate us. When we arrived, my dogs immediately went to the owner and sat. They were immediately comfortable in her presence. I loved that they posted videos while they were there and we got to see their smiles. When we picked them up they were happy but also exhausted from all the play. Forrest was awesome with them as well. Everyone there seemed so chill and loving with the dogs. Often kennel owners and trainers are great with dogs but not with people, I found everyone at Treetops great with both :) thank you for taking great care of jasper and Nakiska so we could enjoy our visit with family.
All of our dogs over the years have gone here! Whether one night or a long vacation stay. They love going for friends, exercise and socializing. We've never been worried or concerned they weren't being looked after. Just like kids when they get so excited to go you know it's a good place.
This place was recommended to me by my trainer and I’m very happy and impressed. It was well worth the drive from Calgary, the location is quiet and beautiful. Murray is very friendly and professional. He listened to my concerns about my dog and was very confident and reassuring. Other boarding places have turned away my dog due to him being reactive and having not the best history, but Treetops took my dog in and I felt comfortable leaving him there. When we returned we were so happy to hear that they were able to connect with my dog and he was treated very well. We will definitely be coming back.
I love treetops pet resort. Staff are super friendly and Nyx (dog) loves it there. I already have her booked in for her next visit. I always feel nervous leaving my dog in someone else's care but treetop makes me feel at ease.
Absolutely excellent facility, but the very best part is how much they obviously care about your pets. Our little guy is a bit reactive, and our big guy is a bit shy, but they made space for both of them and made sure they got tons of exercise and cuddles this weekend, and they came home happy and tired. We're very grateful to know there's a place we can feel comfortable dropping off our pups for a few days!
Very kind and sweet people to deal with! Forrest is such a nice young gentleman. I really enjoyed chatting with him about canines as well as activities to do in the surrounding areas! Very knowledgeable young man, an asset to any company or team. Thank you!
This is a great place for dogs! Our pup absolutely loved it. They were flexible with pick up and drop off and made every attempt to work around our schedule. They were also extremely friendly people. We will definitely be dropping off our dog here again soon!
My dog loves her time at tree tops. The staff are friendly and I can tell she is being taken care of. It takes the stress out of leaving my fur baby behind even for the short trips!
Love this place, the owner Murray is always so nice and accommodating. My dog Wrigley loves going there! They have the option to bathe the dog on the last day of their stay which is a great feature and super convenient.
First time at High Tails and very very happy. I was a bit skeptical because the suites are separated by chain links which the dogs haven’t had before. But rest assured they make sure they ensured us that they will be safe and with other dogs your pets are compatible with! Our two pups boarded here for about 18 nights, and they monitor the dogs well. They fed our dogs well too while other boarding places always had leftovers. They fit them in for a groom as well before pickup! Dogs came home super exhausted and have been sleeping all day. I can tell they had SO much fun! Thanks Dawn, Brianna, and London!
Private off leash is what we always visit High Tails for. We like that they offer booking times in 15 min intervals. - Bathroom is indoors which is nice, but you have to leave dog park to use it. - Park benches in park! - Lots of trees and bushes for the pups. However, we find the price is a bit expensive for what they offer compared to other private parks. - Smaller park area. - Poop bags holders are usually empty - so we bring our own. Good park! Will be repeat customers!
Love this place, have been taking our two big dogs there for 4 years now - both boarding and poodle haircuts. They do an amazing job with our husky for his deshedding - no hair for a few weeks!
Rented the private off leash area. I adopted a dog who is scared of other dogs. It was so nice to have a place for her to run off leash. My other dog loved it as well. The trees and bushes gave them areas to explore and shade. Private, and secure so I could just relax and enjoy my dogs without needing to worry about other dogs. It was clean, and easy to access.
Brought our Moose to high tails for his second grooming today. As a first time dog owner of a breed that needs regular hair trims, I was nervous to make sure I found the right place. We took him for his first wash and tidy when he was only 5 months old. But today he had the full groom! As a 6 month old pup, I’m sure he was a handful. But he was happy to go with them, and always leaves happy! I am so happy I found high tails right off the hop, so he could have a positive experience with grooming right from the start!
I have used their boarding services twice now and we love it! My dog gets very excited going there! Debbie and the personnel takes great care of the dogs and they are very helpful! I am so thankful and happy I found them!
I'm so glad I found this place! One of my dogs is reactive and can't go to the off leash parks in the city. Their off-leash oasis is perfect, tons of space, fully fenced in and plenty of shade. Their booking system is easy to use and it's affordable. I will definitely be coming back!
Our dog loves this place, and we are worry free every time we've dropped her off. Shout out to the staff for taking pictures and posting them on their Facebook page for us to see our girl 😍. It's worth every dollar & and highly recommend! …
High Tails Pet Resort has truly exceeded our expectations in providing top-notch care for our beloved puppy. From the moment we dropped off our dog to the day we picked him up, the entire experience was nothing short of amazing. The facilities at High Tails are immaculate, with spacious and comfortable accommodations for each dog. It's evident that cleanliness and hygiene are top priorities, creating a safe and healthy environment for our pets. The attention to detail in maintaining a clean and inviting space is truly commendable. What sets High Tails apart, however, is the staff's genuine love and dedication to the well-being of the dogs. The team goes above and beyond to ensure every furry guest feels at home. They take the time to understand each dog's unique needs and preferences, providing personalized care that goes beyond the basics. Communication is another area where High Tails excels. Throughout our dog's stay, we received updates, including photos and notes on his activities. This not only reassured us but also allowed us to share in our dog's joy and adventures while we were away. Overall, we cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care provided by High Tails Pet Resort. They have set the bar high for pet care services, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to any pet owner seeking a safe, loving, and enriching environment for their four-legged family members. Thank you, High Tails, for making our dog's stay truly amazing and for calming my nerves leaving our puppy for the first time.
We brought our dog here for 10 nights and were not impressed at all. First, when I contacted them via email, they asked me a lot of questions. I mean a lot. I wrote back and answered them all in great detail. Then, the morning we brought our dog in to go on vacation, it was a really terrible experience, to say the least. The lady that greeted us speaks way too fast and acts like a military drill Sargeant. Our check-in took a ridiculous amount of time. It was just over an hour and was filled with a ridiculous amount of questions, many of which I had already answered in my initial email. Stand here, put your dog here, do this, hold your dog. Wow! The check-in and questioning was in a very small room, very hot, and smelly with no ventilation. The check-in hours are very limited, and they make everyone else wait outside in line as they do one checkin at a time. The process is done in an extremely disrespectful manner, in my opinion. The discomfort, redundant questions, tone in which they talk to you, and no respect for your time at all. I can only imagine how our dog got treated after we left. For the prices they charge, you would think they would have a little bit more respect for their paying clients. We will NOT be returning here again. Please consider a different place. We still feel guilty for leaving our dog here.
This place is honestly amazing. Easy to sign up and book. We've only used the Enchanted Forest and our babies were soooo happy! The forest is really nice and well maintained. It is adjacent to the agility area but they've put up some nice blackout material so the dogs in either area cant see each other. There is one area at the southwest corner of the forest that is not blocked that dogs could maybe see through.. and the entrance vestibule isn't blocked just so others are aware. The forest has a really cool little 'fort' made of branches for dogs to explore and a picnic table for humans to relax. No gaps noticed in fencing.. but if you have a really small dog may want to keep an eye on them. One possible improvement would be to block or partially block the entrance vestibules just to help avoid incidents, but that is the only complaint really!
The first time I took my Ben (a great dane) to the Place 4 Paws, I called ahead of time and explained his reactive issues (he's not aggressive, just afraid of everything it seems) to make sure they would be okay with him being there. When we arrived, Cody was there and Ben didn't want any part of him or being in the building. Ben was afraid and unsure. Cody suggested we go upstairs to a large, indoor room where Ben could be a little more at ease. I stayed there for about 40 minutes with the both of them and Ben still wanted very little to do with Cody even though Cody had treats! After I left, I learned that Ben warmed to Cody and Cody has the patience of a saint. It took Ben about two or three hours before warming to Cody and allowing him to even pet him. Cody was so wonderful to let Ben take his time in getting comfortable. Fast forward to now - Ben is in the kennel as I type this. We arrived at the kennel, he ran into the room, said hello to everyone and was super happy to be there. They opened the doors to put him outside while I grabbed all his stuff and he ran through the kennels of other dogs without any reaction or even acknowledgment that they were there! THAT is success! I am so very grateful for all they have done for and with Ben. Cody runs an exceptional facility with the most warm and welcoming staff and are very understanding of dogs, their issues (they aren't all perfect) and I will kennel Ben there every single time I go away!
We had our pup in the "enchanted forest" and it was a wonderful experience. As she is slightly reactive, it's not every day she gets to run and explore to her hearts content in an off leash setting. The park was clean and secure. Double gated with security cameras at the entrance for peace of mind. Plenty of parking and very private. Will be booking one of these again in the future. Looking forward to it 🙂
The Place 4 paws is amazing! Jordyn and Erika take such good care of our Zeke. We feel so comfortable taking him there! We have tried out other places in the area and none of them compare. He’s always so excited to see them! We take him to daycare once a week and use the off leash play areas at least once a week! We are only sad they don’t do boarding anymore, we 100% support their decision we just don’t think we will find anyone as good as them to take care of our pup. 10/10 would recommend, they treat your animals like their own!
The enchanted forest is wonderful. Nice little glade of poplar trees gives enough room to run and explore. Fully fenced, so no risk of dogs getting away, and private, so you don't need to worry about poorly socialized dogs. Only downside is the parking lot, but they were doing work on last week (Sept 2020) months might not be an issue going forward.
We use the fenced off leash areas here with my parents' dog as she is working through some issues that don't allow her to go to the normal off leash. She loves running with us through the trees and trying to find us hiding. All the areas have provided us with things to do with her and she is tired out by the time we head home. It is great to be able to access this.
The enchanted forest is such a great, clean, safe place for our dog to run with friends! There is a picnic table in the enchanted forest for the humans. Also a great spot to practice recall. We haven’t tried the other parks, but look forward to trying the agility area.
My girls are very reactive and I cant take them to public offleash parks. We come here almost every morning. Our favorites are the enchanted forest and the adventure park. The girls love their runs in the morning, chasing after a ball or a stick. The parks are free of doggy- poo, which is great because one my girls like to eat poo. We can say, we love this place and what a great concept!
Great place. We take our dog every week day for doggy daycare
We've never used the boarding facility here, just the fenced off leash areas. I do know numerous people who have used the boarding facilities and highly recommend it. The fenced off leash areas are well maintained. Good value for the cost. We've been able to cancel with minimal notice due to weather with no penalty.
We have been bringing our pup to Barking good since he was a 6 month old trouble maker, and wouldn't take him anywhere else. Crystal and her whole team are so incredibly wonderful. Kavik loves going and is always so excited as we make our way down the driveway. They have helped him develop into a wonderful adult dog and I know we owe a lot of his doggy social skills to the experiences he has at Barking Good. We especially love that they have free access to indoor and outdoor spaces; as a northern breed, winter time is my boys favorite and he LOVES being outside. I couldn't imagine him going someplace where they were inside all day. If you are looking for a reasonable priced place to bring your pooch for day care or overnight boarding I cant recommend barking good enough!
I’ve been bringing my dog Moose to barking good since he was around a year old I believe (he is now 5). He is a German Shepherd cross and very high maintenance/high energy and had some challenges with aggression. I remember the very first day I brought him for a meet and greet and he started to get aggressive with a dog and they completely de escalated the situation right in front of me. Immediately felt trusting he was in good hands. Moose is always happy to go to daycare and always tired when he comes home. I’ve boarded him as well and they’ve done great with letting me know how it went when I pick him up. There is no one else I would trust with him!
My dog hates to be separated from me, but he loves this place for both daycare and boarding. They offer a ton for him to do, and he always returns happy and tuckered out. I highly recommend them!
Such a great place for overnight boarding or day care. Conveniently located for anyone living in the SW who is looking to make it out to the mountains. Everyone working there is so friendly, competent and truly care. Pricing is excellent. Max enjoyed his stay - would definitely recommend Barking Good!!
We absolutely LOVE Barking Good. We have two pups - one is a high-energy, playful toy Aussie shepherd (Boris), and the other is a nervous, cautious, sweet rescue (Beans). From our initial meetings for both dogs, we knew Crystal and all her staff were going to hold our dogs in their hearts as if they were their own. At drop-off, they know each dog by name, and both our pups were excited to go in and play their hearts out! The Instagram updates are so appreciated - we love seeing all the dogs play and socialize, and we get to see a different side of them (the attached picture is a screenshot from a reel they posted). We recently got Beans’ nails trimmed at Barking Good - this is something we have never been able to do in one try at home, and they got it done in one day! If you need a place to board your dog, or even one day of play, Barking Good is our number one recommendation!
We have been using Barking Good for about 6 months for our high energy dog. Their services have become a necessity in our home when I was pregnant and couldn’t exercise him as much. When we had our baby they were so flexible in the reservation and at a moments notice took our dog for an extended stay. Our baby fell sick shortly after coming home landing him back in the hospital. The staff took our dog in instantly and told us not to worry about him till we got home again. They showed so much compassion during this hard time and took such good care of our dog. It was so helpful to know he was in great hands and that when he came home he would be sleep for a couple days! I honestly can’t say enough about this place. If I was a dog, this is where I would want to go for daycare. Truly I don’t know what we would have done without them.
Crystal and her staff are caring and professional and treat every dog with kindness and love. The outdoor space accommodates even the most energetic dog and they have recently added a doggie pool. The designated “quiet time” allows the dogs to take a much needed rest from all the fun. And it works - the dogs actually do rest!! There is opportunity for on-site grooming and pet photography in addition to daily or overnight boarding options. What I love best about their services is knowing with 100% confidence that my dog is cared for and safe. And the prices are exceptionally fair.
Barking Good has a tremendous daycare and boarding program that put the needs of the dog first! They provide timely feedback on your dog's experience in daycare and proactively work with owners on any behavioural issues that arise during the dog's visit. For example, our dog has tendency to get grumpy and snappy when she is overstimulated and tired (which can happen in a daycare environment) and begin resource guarding. Barking Good immediately brought the issue to our attention and we worked together on a solution to ensure our dog continued to have a great time at daycare and remained in a positive mood. They did not admonish her for getting snappy and instead worked with us to make sure she was safe and happy! Our girl does not always like daycare environments and has had experiences of anxiety and stress when going to certain daycares. This has NEVER been an issue at Barking Good - she is excited to greet the staff and her friends and rarely wants to come home with me. Barking Good is an amazing resource for busy dog parents and you know that when your dog is there, they are having a great time in a safe and caring environment!
Barking Good is our dog's favourite place to be. She starts getting excited as soon as we call her to get into the car first thing in the morning. We are very grateful for Crystal and the Barking Good staff for many years of loving our dog and providing an amazing environment for her to be in. Our dog loves the opportunity to be outside all day long (but can be convinced to come inside for a nap occasionally!). The staff have been willing to work through our dog's anxieties and have helped grow her into a well socialized canine. We cannot thank Barking Good enough for the high quality care they provide. 10/10 would recommend : )
We started bringing our dog Rosie here after a bad experience at another dog daycare facility. It came highly recommended from someone I know so we brought her for the initial meet and greet. We are so happy we did Rosie loves going to Barking Good. Has soon has I pull into the driveway she get so excited. She can barely contain herself has I unbuckle her from the back seat. The staff is great very professional and caring and when Rosie is picked up she is exhausted from playing with her friends at the daycare. If your looking for a place to bring your valued family member I highly recommend Barking Good.
We took my shy/nervous Sheltie here for the first time last month. My partner and I were completely blown away by the groom she received, and the kindness the groomer showed us. The shop is clean and bright, with nice decor, and it’s obvious that the owner and staff are passionate about grooming/dog care. Thank you so much for everything- we’ll be back soon! -Charlotte the Sheltie (and family 💜)
I won’t take my dog anywhere else, Diana and her partner are the best! She cares so much about the pups and does such a great job grooming. I fully trust them with my (sometimes difficult) rescue. Thank you Diana!
Came here while on vacation in Banff as my dog needed a quick nail trim. I didn't have an appointment but was seen immediately. My pup can be super anxious during grooming but she was great! Highly recommend :)
First time at Pugs and Mutts for a puppy groom. We LOVED it here! Sooo much kindness and love for our puppy, we will be regulars customers. The shop is beautiful and quiet, looking forward to trying the daycare too!
Diana is a great dog groomer! Highly recommend! Here's my golden doodle, before and after!
Diana is the best. My dog Wally loves going there. He has stayed for day care and groomings a few times. I also recently took my older, grumpier, dog Blu there for a grooming - and she was wonderful with him. It is the best grooming he's had in years! Highly recommend!
My pup Reggie met Diana today for the first time - he loved her! The entire atmosphere of the shop is inviting and relaxing. Her demeanor and calm put him at ease and he looks great! It can be hard to find a good groomer but Diana is one. I highly recommend Pugs and Mutts, great experience from start to finish.
I contacted Diana at Pugs N Mutts to see if we could book our Schnoodle in for doggie day care. Donna immediately responded with a few questions and after my response she promptly booked him in. At drop off Diana greeted us with a friendly demeanour and after we signed the waiver we left knowing he was in very good hands. After we picked him up he very quickly fell asleep on my lap….. a very tired boy after playing all day with the other pup who was there that day. Thanks Diana!
I have never been able to trim my dog’s nails - she gets very anxious and no treat in my house is enough to get her to sit still long enough to complete the job. I brought her in spur of the moment to try getting a nail trim with Diana, and the entire experience was amazing! We were able to walk in without an appointment, and the whole thing was finished in just a few minutes. She used the dremel tool as well as the clippers, so the nails were not left rough or jagged, (like I’ve had with other groomers in the past) and no bleeding either! All in all we will definitely be back, and I look forward to trying out some of the other services too!
Diana is the best groomer I've had in the Bow Valley for quite some time. My standard poodle gets the exact cut and care that I request each time. The prices are a bit higher than I was paying elsewhere, but you really do get what you pay for. And, when I had to get sorted for an emergency trip out to the coast, she stayed late to make sure Piedle was groomed before I left. :-)
Awesome daycare, my dog Casper loves it here he's always super excited to get dropped off for the day. Owners are very caring and hardworking, I've had nothing but good experiences with Rainbow Pet Care the past year. Would give it 6 stars if I could!
Archie loves going too Rainbow Pet Care Kennel. Geoff the owner/operator has a passion beyond most for caring and treating everyone’s dog with respect ensuring they all have a blast. Archie almost crawls out the window to run to Geoff as soon as I pull into his driveway. I’d highly recommend taking your furry to this facility anytime. Thank you Geoff …Archie the Golden Retriever.
As someone who works out of town and not always able to bring my dog with me, it’s hard to have to board your pet for long a stretch of time. But as I’ve been boarding my dog with Rainbow Pet Care Centre lately, I feel extremely comfortable leaving him there. My pup even starts to get excited as we are getting close and pulling into the yard. Highly recommend.
This place is amazing. I love it but more importantly my dog loves it. We were told about Rainbow pet care and thought we would give it a try for our very energetic 7 month old puppy Juno. We have brought her to daycare and for an over night stay and both were amazing for her. Thank you for providing Juno with a fun, safe, and wonderful place to get her energy out.
Friendly owners and good prices. Overnight offers get to stay in a doggie old West Town with their own couch, tv, and radio. Rainbow Pet Care goes the extra mile to make sure your offer has a good stay.
This is my golden’s 4th daycare due to various relocations and it is, by a significant distance, the best. The facilities are amazing and the owners don’t just care for your dog, they treat it as their own. My boy comes home exhausted and happy every-time. The price is also the best in town. I couldn’t recommend rainbow pet care centre highly enough.
My dog Joji spent the week here and was so well taken care of! Jeff is very knowledgeable. He managed behaviours and dog pairings well and provided great feedback for future stays. We will definitely be back.
Jeff really knows dogs. Our boy is wary of strangers but immediately loved him. I love the individual pens in the Village. It’s our go-to kennel!
I recently took my Border Collie to Rainbows Bark Park. We have been taking our dog to Rainbow for boarding and daycare and he loves his stays there. Rainbow is located within very close proximity to Chestermere which is great for us. The area is fully enclosed which is perfect if your dog is working on recall or is a runner. The park is also private which is great for people with reactive dogs or dogs that cannot share space with others. There are a couple of chairs that you can use along with a covered gazebo which is really a bonus on hot days and there is plenty of space to kick or throw a ball.
There are no words to express how much we appreciated finding a place like this to leave our fur family. Our dog is a very large Akita who has major separation anxiety and leaving him for 10 days was making me sick to my stomach worrying about how he would be and where we could leave him that he would be comfortable and happy. This place is the best kept facility all around we have ever seen. Without question you can tell how much the animals are cared for and the grounds are so well taken care of. The second we got to rainbow pet care centre our worries faded and meeting Jeff they were beyond gone and we were happy to leave our dog there. When we picked him up he was happy to see us but still wanted to be around Jeff too and that says a lot. I wish this place was closer to where we live is all I can say I would change! It was worth the drive we highly recommend.
Mountain Mutts are honestly life-savers!! This is such a great company and the owners Scott and Laurie are some of the best people you will ever hope to meet. I have been sending my Lacie girl with them for about three years now and I couldn’t be happier with their services. I was unsure in the beginning as my pup was a rescue and can be frightened easily, but she absolutely loved them and fully trusted them from day one. Lacie truly loves her mountain mutt pup-friends and you can instantly tell at the dog park if you happen to run into another mountain mutter because they go absolutely mental playing and loving each other up ♥️ She loves all of her buds so much that she will have to be a mountain mutter for life!! And if you follow them on Facebook you get to enjoy daily pics of the pups playing and having the best time in the most beautiful places the bow valley has to offer. I would absolutely recommend Mountain Mutts to anyone and everyone. Big or small, your pup will be the happiest pup in the world if you send them with this amazing team. A huge Thankyou to Scott and Laurie for relieving the stress I had of leaving Lacie at home all day when I was at work, as well as making my pup the happiest pup in the world on a weekly basis. We love you guys!!!! 🐾♥️ -Simon, Carla and Lacie girl.
I hesitate to write this, because the owners were extremely remorseful, and they are good-hearted people. However, last week when they picked my dog up, they got distracted and failed to put my dog into the car before driving off. My dog then proceeded to wander the neighbourhood, which is about a hundred feet from Railway Avenue. Thankfully, some neighbours scooped up my pup before he got to the main road. However, the most concerning aspect of this debacle is that Mountain Mutts didn’t realize that my dog was missing until I called them when they were on the hike! I hope that this can be used as a learning experience to implement more stringent protocols or as a catalyst for positive restructuring of the regimen. I recognize that everyone has their spacey moments (we’re all human, and I know I messed up when I was an elementary school teacher), but my dog really is my family; I would hope that these animals are treated with the care and respect based on the understanding that they are integral members to each individual family.
They are the best, Paws down! I wish I could give them better than 5 stars. Our dog likes them better than he likes us!
