Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!
This was our first time using zeewoi and we were a little apprehensive, especially as we were going away for almost 5 weeks, but we really didn’t need to be. Mary and Kevin were fantastic from the start. They had excellent communication and put us at ease straight away. They looked after both our cats with lots of care and we came home to two very happy and content kitties. Mary and Kevin struck the balance just right whilst we were away by keeping us informed of how the cats were and sending pictures of what the cats were up to every couple of days. It was so lovely to know that the cats were enjoying themselves and being so well looked after whilst we were away. Mary and Kevin also looked after our house extremely well and we came back to a very clean and tidy home. We would definitely recommend Mary and Kevin to anyone needing a house sitter and would love for them to sit for us again if they were ever back in the area.
We were very lucky to have had Nia for our recent house sit. She communicated well before the sit and arrived as planned. We shared a meal before we left which gave us time to get to know her and tell her about the house and our pets. After we left it soon became clear the cats loved Nia and the attention she gave them. We were kept informed throughout her stay with regular updates and video clips of what they were up to and how the garden was growing etc. We highly recommend Nia as a pet/house sitter and we would certainly have her back should the opportunity arise. Thanks again Nia
Kristi was an absolutely incredible sitter -- I think our favorite one ever! She was easy to communicate with, kind and personable, and took great care of our pets and our house. It was the first time we had left both our dog and our cat with a TH sitter and Kristi went above and beyond. She was very self-sufficient but provided fun updates and pictures and our pets loved her. Highly recommend!
If you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies and your house while you're away, Daniel is your guy! I had discovered zeewoi just a couple of weeks before I was to leave on vacation and I was not only apprehensive if the website was too good to be true, but also under a real time crunch. I reached out to over 100 local sitters and several possibilities fell through. I was confident I would find the right sitter and when Daniel applied for the sit and I started to text and converse with him, I knew I had found the perfect sitter for my two cats! Daniel was upbeat and positive, articulate and personable, warm and caring, and he asked all the right questions about Lilly and Eli (I hadn't had the time to complete my Welcome Guide, yet!?!). I shared that I had an easy cat and problem cat -- Lilly, who is sweet, social and eats dry food, and Eli who is skittish, was periodically pooping outside the kitty litter box and was eating prescription canned food twice a day mixed with a probiotic and stool firmer. I asked if he thought he was up for the job and he happily said he was. Since he flew all the was from Chicago, I thought the least my husband and I could do was pick him up at the airport. When he arrived, he pulled out his notebook. He patiently walked with me as I reviewed kitty care, showed him around the house, and where he would be sleeping. He immediately picked up Lilly who was excited about meeting her new friend and Eli bugged out and down the stairs to the basement (his favorite hiding place!). We got Daniel connected to the internet, set him up at our dining room table and headed off to airport, leaving our house and kitties in the best of hands. Daniel wanted to make sure I felt comfortable and assured while we were away. He made sure to text with me every other day (he had asked my preference earlier), sent photos of Lilly being her cute self while Eli hid during the day although he gave me assurances that he was eating his food and using the litter box (there were a few accidents, but Daniel never complained about these additional duties). When we returned from our vacation, the house was also spotless and well cared for and Daniel had even washed the sheets for me! It is with utter happiness and complete confidence that I recommend Daniel as a fantastic Sitter. He is trustworthy, responsible, caring, and competent, and you can rest assured that both your house and sweet pets will be watched over and treated with TLC -- and will truly be in the best of hands while you are away!
Lindsey watched our cat and dog for a long weekend when we went out of town. She was a very communicative sitter sending frequent pictures and voice notes with updates. She did a great job of following their schedules and giving them attention. The animals seemed to be happy and relaxed when we returned home and I believe Lindsey enjoyed getting to discover all of the eateries our town has to offer. A win-win for everyone!
Karen was able to step in a sit for me on short notice after another sitter canceled. She was very thorough and communicative and I felt I had left my apartment and cats in good hands with her. I came home to a clean apartment and happy cats. I definitely recommend Karen as a sitter.
Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. She gave thoughtful updates on my cat and I could tell she really enjoyed her, so that means the world to me! She left the place immaculate and we will certainly have Tonya back!
Chris was a fantastic cat sitter for our elderly and high maintenance kitty. Chris was the perfect combination of responsible and on top of her medication needs while also being calm and relaxed about her picky eating habits and the need to monitor her food and medication consumption. He was prompt, easy to get a hold of, responsible, and overall, a great sitter. I would definitely recommend him and most certainly hope to have him stay with her again.
Steven was a great sitter for our black lab Souris and cat Pinot. They were well looked after and really liked Steven. Our house was in good order when we got back and Steven was kind enough to give us a lift to and from the airport. He was very flexible, arriving day early so we could show him around.
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home overnight at Sittsy.
How much should you pay someone to watch your cat?
At least 20$ per visit, $19/week per overnight watching in your home, otherwise you can find a free sitter at Sittsy.
What do people do with their cats when they go on vacation?
Inviting a cat sitter to your home, boarding the cat with a local business, asking a friend, family or neighbour to feed and check the well-being. The most efficient way to leave your cat during your vacation is with Sittsy cat sitters overnight, in this way, you will save cat sitting costs and make vacation not only for you but also for your cat sitter!
We left our baby Parker for 10 days and I knew he was in very good hands. I would get pictures of him everyday playing, napping and even getting vacuumed (he sheds a lot!) I’ve left my dog at a daycare franchise before and after 2 nights he would come back home sick and stressed from the amount of dogs they usually have; but not with Paw Pals! They always have a clean space for our pets and it seriously feels like a second home for our fur-babies. I loved how much they cared for Parker and will definitely go back on our next trip!
We have found our new pet home for our travels! Caring, communicative, clean, responsive, attentive. I think my cat was spoiled and probably can't wait to go back, but that's okay by me! My daughter LOVED that the owner would send photos whenever she wanted one, as she missed our kitty very much! I also love supporting a single-parent small-business owner.
We had a great experience with this business! We have two small YorkiePoos that we don't trust with just anyone, and yet we don't have anyone who can care for them in our home. Dia worked out perfectly! I knew the minute I met her and she showed me around her house that she is serious about caring for pets. Her house is completely pet-proofed, and she has a gorgeous and secure backyard. She is also strict about things like vaccinations, which we appreciated. We have boarded our dogs twice in the past. One loves stimulation and playing with other dogs, but the other is overwhelmed if there are too many other dogs and would always come home utterly exhausted. Not so with Dia. When they stayed with her for 10 days, they came home completely relaxed! Her daughter is a bonus - she loved on our dogs like they were her own, and they loved her. We loved the photos and updates Dia sent and the clear communication about drop off and pick up. We've already booked with her for our next trip. Highly recommend.
I took my cat, Donut, to Paw Pals and I will never go anywhere else!!! This is a home away from home for your pets. There is so much thought and care that goes into the space created for your cat to enjoy. For someone like me, I also appreciate the fact I get photos and updates on how my cat is doing. I highly recommend taking your animal to Paw Pals over a large boarding place if you want your animal to have the attention and care it deserves while it is away from their comfort. Very happy I have found this place.
Dia at NKY Paw Pals took the best care of our dogs Charlie and Nova when she miraculously was available at the last minute after our previous dog sitter canceled. I was worried that the pups were going to be anxious or overactive since they've never been to a sitter, but they didn't have a single issue and even made some new friends during their stay! NKY Paw Pals made our travels so much more relaxing knowing that our babies were getting the attention and love they need while we were away. I can't thank Dia enough for the care she provides, and I'm looking forward to booking future trips knowing she'll be there for our dogs!
My wife and I are so glad that we have found a reliable pet sitting service for our fur baby! Dia made sure everything was clean and fresh for our dog Rusty and took wonderful care of him while we were away. We appreciate the picture updates whenever we asked as well. We will definitely use again, as we see that Rusty will be in good hands while we are away! Thanks Dia!
Thank you so much for taking such great care of Daisy! She was comfortable and loved at your home. I am grateful, and we will definitely use you in the future. The socialization with other dogs was great for her, too. I really appreciate how you customized her experience, just for her. I loved getting photos of her, as well as the updates. Again, thank you so much!
I had an incredible experience with NKY Paw Pals as my dog sitter in Erlanger, Kentucky. Their attention to detail and genuine love for animals truly stood out. My furry baby was well taken care of, and I received regular updates and photos, which really put my mind at ease. NKY Paw Pal’s professionalism, reliability, and dedication to providing the best care for my dog exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend NKY Paw Pals to anyone seeking a trustworthy and caring dog sitter in the area!
I have had the pleasure of knowing the individual who runs this company since I was young. The genuine love and affection she puts into everything she does, from her work, to her family is something we all can strive to achieve. Your pets will be safe and very well cared for in the hands of this company. They will be taken care of as if they are her own, if not better. There is plenty of room for your pets to run around safely, and they will be given love and affection by all. If you are looking for a wonderful place to board your pets that will treat them how you would if not better, NKY Paw Pals - Pet Sitters is the place to go. You will NOT be disappointed.
Our Macy loved staying at NKY Paw Pals! Dia sent me regular updates and pictures throughout the week. Macy has some anxiety and loves to snuggle so this was the perfect boarding option for her. She got plenty of attention and love. Highly recommend!!
My English mastiff is currently 14 months old and he’s been a regular here since he’s been 4 months old. Nothing but good things to say about our experiences. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and provide great communication along the way. They have been very flexible with integrating my 160 pound dog into the mix of things. It’s very clear that everyone here cares and loves animals so each time I drop my dog off I have peace of mind that he will be taken care of.
I worked here only a month because it was so bad, if you care about the safety and well being of your pets DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! The first day i was trained i was attacked by a dog and nothing was done about that dog, and then the times after that there was dogs that would attack me/other dogs that they still let in because they were more worried about profit. I was hired around the time a new gm was brought in and left soon after as they wanted employees to work ungodly hours without a care to their lives outside of work, especially during medical emergencies. I saw so many dogs attacked by other dogs as well as them hit the dogs but they didn’t do a thing besides hide it to “protect their company.” Look at all the negative reviews and think is it really worth it?
If you love your dog, I would recommend not bringing them here. I worked at Dogtown's Erlanger location for about a year and a half and I genuinely loved it. That was, until Antonio was put in charge. I genuinely don't believe this man has any right being in charge of this place. I won't get into the nitty gritty of my firing because it ultimately doesn't matter, but I will say that dogs are never banned despite attacking people and other dogs. I was CONSTANTLY breaking up fights when I worked in daycare. That is not normal or okay by any means. Genuinely, your dog is not safe if they go here. They are likely to come home afraid of dogs or worst case, with injuries never brought up to you. My dog literally has scars from being in daycare. Being behind the scenes of this shitshow helped me realize how unfair and dangerous it is. I don't want this review to read as angry or spiteful, I just earnestly care about unsuspecting people bringing their sweet puppies here. I still love dogs more than anything, so please, don't bring your dog to Dogtown.
Hi if any of the clients are looking at the reviews you probably recognize my name considering i was an employee here on and off for the last 3 years. i will say the first year i was employed here I loved it, and when i came back at the beginning of this year when olivia was the manager I loved it. Now that the manager is now antonio and he recently let me go over a lie I just wanted to let everyone know what’s really been happening behind the scenes since management got handed over. The new company policy is anything under 35 dogs in the daycare room doesn’t qualify for another employee to be in there. A 35/1 ratio is super dangerous considering the fact that they not only refuse to ban dogs who start fights with other dogs, but refuse to ban dogs that have bitten other employees. Dog fights happen multiple times a day and most of the time the owners are not contacted unless there is injury to their pet. Antonio also smokes cigarettes in the building with the dogs not only in his office but in a back hallway where no cameras are visible that lead to one of our yards while he is taking the dogs out. They also are very much a money motivated company and instead of banning dogs that should be banned they would rather keep allowing them to come even with the daycare handlers telling them they don’t want them in the daycare room. half the vaccinations in the system are expired including bordatella, which prevents kennel cough, distemper which is deadly if a dog catches it, as well as rabies. Also their way of fixing issues like holes in the walls from the dogs eating drywall is to simply slap paint over it. Antonio also plays favorites with employees and allows those favorite employees speak very disrespectfully to other employees and thinks public bashing in the work groupchat is totally okay. overall this was a great company until they decided that money mattered more than the animals they were servicing.
The team at Dogtown is absolutely amazing! They proactively communicate and care for our puppies. Macey, the manager, is awesome and has a great team of support. We watch the video often to check in on our boys and we see staff actively managing the room and cleaning. Highly recommend, our boys come home exhausted!
Love this place. Desi knows when he gets in the car where he is going. He waits kinda patiently for someone to take him to play with his friends. I also like the ability to check in on him anytime day or night( when I need to board him).
I have used Dogtown for both day care and overnight care. I can’t say enough to good things about the caring staff, the attention to detail, and the cleanliness of the facility. I was floored when they remembered my dog’s name after only being there one time (and we use DogTown as needed, not like every day). They immediately made accommodations for my golden since she was an older girl and was happier in a calmer environment at times. I would trust any Dogtown with the care of both my dogs. It’s just an exceptionally managed business that doesn’t at all feeling like a “kennel.”
My grand pup has been here a few times. I was contemplating letting our golden try it out as well. However, After seeing footage from the very inattentive employees on their phones instead of interacting with the dogs, then observing ON LIVE WEBCAM, as one young male grabbed a dogs neck and shoved him abusively. The dogs were crammed into a “nap room” .. entirely too many dogs into a room that was absolutely unfit for any dog. This is so sad. Tolerating this behavior could easily result in something much worse. Don’t use this place if you love your animal.
We love Dogtown Erlanger! Our lab mix goes for doggie daycare 2-3 days a week and she loves it! Rosie is a rescue and is working on her manners. The staff at Dogtown have been so great about helping us! She just spent a few days there boarding and is EXHAUSTED!! 😂 …
The groomer at dogtown was amazing. She sent photos and update on Lulu and that's a first. Of your want excellent service wonderful hair cut, and a great groomer at dogtown ask for Alexus and she will treat your dog with care.
We board my 2 dogs here at least once a year sometimes a little bit more but even though they don’t come often and get a little nervous they always come home happy and healthy. We recently also had both dogs groomed here last week and they both look amazing! They are so soft and have slowed down on their shedding a ton which for a GSD and a Husky seemed impossible! Super pleased with the grooming. I will continue to use Allies walkabout and recommend them to anyone!
Two of my dogs go to Allies once a week. The staff are fantastic with my dogs. When we come in they call them by name. My dogs always come home tired from playing all day. A big bonus is when my dogs need groomed, they can get it done on their doggie daycare care because there is groomers on site. We also do the dog training at Allies with Jim from For Paws. The staff are so energetic and friendly.
My baby Lucy had her evaluation for boarding Tuesday night and I picked her up this morning. I was able to call or text Allie's to check on her. I'm very impressed! She will be staying there when I have surgery. The staff is wonderful! The handlers gave her all the loving she needed! I highly recommend your baby to stay there! Thank you Allie's Walkabout!
Allie’s experience for myself and Bennie has been excellent. The staff are always professional, friendly and supportive especially during Bennie’s difficulty w/ transitions and socialization skills. Their expertise and guidance helped transform a severely scared dog to a happy trusting dog who loves to play at Allie’s. Thank you!
My dog Banjo has been getting groomed at Allies for a few years now. His most recent groomer (1or 2 years now) Allison has been great. She is always so excited to see him which makes me feel good knowing she will take good care of him. She also always does such a great job with making him look all clean and handsome. Today we decided to have some fun and do a blue Mohawk and he is the coolest Dood in the neighborhood now. 😎Thanks Allison for always taking such good care of our boy. Allies is lucky to have you and so are we. 😊
Always friendly and professional! Our 3 dogs love going to Allie's everytime to see their friends!
I would like to commence this review on a positive note by acknowledging the commendable skills and friendliness of the groomers at this establishment. They do an exceptional job managing my pups fluff. However, I encountered a concerning experience with their daycare service. Despite my effort to provide my dog with socialization opportunities, I received a call requesting her early pickup, accompanied by remarks from the owner insinuating that I should improve as a pet owner and that my dog is miserable. This encounter left me disheartened, and questioning the professionalism of the establishment. For these reasons I will not continue to frequent this business.
Great place for your dog. The staff gets to know you and your dog which makes the experience even better. The facility is exceptionally clean and you really cannot beat the impeccable customer service. I have had my dog boarded and groomed here so they provide full service. My dog comes home looking like the picture attached. Need I say more.
Allie’s Walkabout is top notch!! They know each dog by name and care for everyone of them. Our pup gets excited every-time when we drop him off.
Allie's Walkabout is the best dog grooming service I have ever been too! I have a golden doodle named Harper and she is very energetic and her fur often mats because we don't do the best job at keeping up with it. I have been to a couple of different places to have her cut and every time she comes back too short. But Allie's did a great job! Harper was cut just the way I asked them to cut her and she looked great! She was also able to have fun and play with other dogs before her cut so she was nice and tired when she came home. Would highly recommend! Will definitely be back soon!
This was first time boarding our new dog and I’m so glad we happened to choose PetSuites! The staff were so kind and professional, the facility was spotless, and the care was above and beyond. We plan to use the daycare option in the future as our girl had an absolute blast during playtime. She’s still pooped from having the best time!
Dakota loves spending time at Petsuites. She's always super excited the closer we get to the building, runs straight to the door to go inside and loves all of the staff that greet her. She plays so hard while at day play that when I pick her up, she falls asleep on her ride home and then lays down for a nap when we get inside. I love knowing that my baby is well cared for at Petsuites.
I 100% recommend and trust PetSuites with my dog. Their staff and facility are top-notch. Recently, while I was on vacation, my dog had to go to urgent care while being boarded (due to something unrelated to his stay at PetSuites). Sarah from PetSuites immediately notified me of the situation and, after getting my approval, rushed him to the urgent care center. She kept me updated with photos, texts, and calls, and was incredibly supportive and kind throughout the entire ordeal, for which I was very appreciative. I can’t thank Sarah and the entire PetSuites Erlanger team enough for the exceptional care they provided my dog during that time and every time I’ve boarded him there. I can’t recommend this place enough.
This location is great. I only use them occasionally, but the caregivers are very friendly and answer all my questions. My boy dog is a "people dog." I love that they offer the option to have individual play time with him so he's not stuck in a kennel ALL day. My girl dog is afraid of strangers, but she seems to warm up to them after a while. The kennels are bigger than most of the places I saw when searching other daycare/boarding facilities. I was going somewhere else and my dogs were showing signs of being afraid to go in. I don't know why, but I didn't like it. So I switched to this facility and they no longer show fear of going inside. Always trust your dog!!
This place is top notch! They love your dog like their own. Everyone from dog training to day play does a great job! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!! Chessie always comes home happy and well exercised! She is always going on and on about how much fun she had at day play with all of her doggie friends! She is always telling her BIG brother Liam about all the fun that she had!!!
Gemma has been going to Petsuites in Erlanger for over 10 years. She not only loves playtime with the other dogs, she also loves the people that work there. It’s a good feeling when I leave her there that she is in great hands.
My dog was healthy before I sent her here. After 7 days, she came back with some kind of eye virus. I immediately took her to the vet, and the vet said it was serious and could cause implication had I waited longer. Compared to Doggie Paddles in Florence, this PetSuites charges more per night yet has smaller playgrounds. It also asks for more kind of vaccination proofs yet fails to keep viruses from going rampant. Why did no one at the facility notice a dog with an unusual red eye??! We noticed the eye immediately when picking her up. Yet, they still had the audacity to ask us for tip!!
Pet Suites was very accommodating and friendly. Our fur baby enjoyed herself, she hasn't stopped talking about her week ( we all know our pets talk to us). Thank you for making us feel comfortable leaving her. She'll be back.
We used Pet Suites in Erlanger for our two puppers and it was wonderful! Our dogs have not been boarded before so I was a little nervous for them and myself ( as a somewhat helicopter dog mom). They did wonderful. Not only did they enjoy the stay( albeit a little fearful because it was a busy weekend for the facility), but I received updates on their wellbeing/ behavior 1-2 times a day. It was very comforting and very appreciative. I definitely recommend!!
Love this location! My pup is always so excited to go 🐕 Updated review after response from PS... Their reply to this review just goes to show that I'm not just a customer and that they really value the animals and animal parents they serve! They posted my dog's name in their reply so that level of personalized attention means so much! What a wonderful establishment!
We lived in Erlanger for 4 years and our two pups stayed at Erlanger Pet Resort/Day Spa a variety of times. The staff have always been professional and helpful. We really appreciated that they would send pics while we were away. Not always, but occasionally. We also liked that the vet clinic was right next door. Particularly because our dogs both had knee surgeries. As they got older, they had a much harder time navigating the slippery floor in the lobby and to the kennels so we boarded them less frequently. I'll never understand why these facilities do not place gripper mats on the floor. The groomers always did a nice job and having been a groomer, I can understand the time and effort it takes to groom larger dogs. That said, the prices felt a bit steep and so we cut back on this as well.
We adopted Layla a few months ago and it was time for a beauty treatment (grooming). I was very happy with the finished product. Christine followed my requests for scissoring vs clippers. I saw nothing that I was unhappy with. My only concern is how loud it was when entering the facility. It was apparent that Layla was stressing. She really doesn’t care for other dogs. Not sure if this issue can be addressed other than using a stand alone groomer shop next time.
Best treatment of animals hands down! Staff is amazing and our dogs love to have a spa day!
Once again our dog seemed happy to see us. She also ate almost all the food we left for her. This is a very good sign she liked where she was!
This place and the Employees absolutely love animals and it shows!! My Snoopy comes here to get groomed by Christina and she’s wonderful. I was waiting in the parking lot and the doggy daycare team was outside with the dogs. A large dog jumped stood up on its back legs to hug the worker and she lovingly holds on and loves this dog back. It warmed my heart to see!!! See the pic I took.
The entire staff is awesome! They love the dogs and take extra great care of them. My puppy is never excited to get in and out of the car unless we tell him we are taking him to daycare. When we arrive he pulls me to the door he is so excited!
I have been bringing my mini Schnauzer to this resort for grooming for about 4 years now. I've tried three other groomers and this one is the best, by far! Miniature schnauzers are known to matte pretty easily and must be brushed all the time. I can tell this groomer takes her time to cut his fur. Cleans his face, eyes, ears, tail, and rear. He always smells great when he comes home. They even let me drop off before work and pick him back up after if needed. (Although if you pet is not vetted for the daycare, they would be in a crate until you pick them up.) Love this place! We even moved 45 minutes away and I still take the time to bring him here.
Paid $60 for a bath. Staff was super friendly but the whole reason I went here specifically was because my vet recommended it because my dog can be difficult. He was muzzled and according to the groomer when she updated me 5 min in he wasn’t really growling or giving her a hard time so I had hope. But about $15 minutes later I was brought back my dog (All done!?) I questioned whether she brushed him at all since I can spend a good half hour with a furminator myself and still have work to do and she said she did go over him with one. In the car I could see loose hair sitting on him and knew immediately I would have to groom him myself anyway which sucks because now I’m not sure why I wasted time and money going. This is a pic next day before I go at it myself of him already dandruffed up and covered in loose hair, definitely won’t be going back.
We had our Millie there for day boarding this week. She loved it, and the staff took really good care of her. Thanks especially to Trinity for doing such a great sales job over the phone, and to Jasmine for treating her so well while she was there. There were others also, I just didn't get their names. If we're ever up that way again, Millie will drop by to see you!!
I did not get sent pictures while i was on vacation. the night that I came to pick up my dog it seemed like there was only one person in the building? not a good sign to me that they have god knows how many dogs inside and only one person to care for them all. I'm taking my dog to PetSuites Erlanger next time. I'm pretty sure they keep someone with the pets over night too. this place does not.
Affordable and local canine show dog trainer... Our 2-year-old, 75 lb, mixed breed, rescue had boundary and anxiety issues... After 4 days with Blue Dog K9, Daycare/Training, there's already a definite change in his disposition and he's much easier to handle. Max is more attentive to our authority and commands. I think the play time interactions with the other large breed dogs was very beneficial to Max's confidence and socialization. We will be taking Max back for probably 2 day care stays/training a week as follow up and reinforcement.
Bobby has been amazing with my Bear. Bear is a very sweet but very high strung pittie. After one session at Blue Dog k9 care- Bear was significantly calmer and more content than ever before. I have never trusted anybody with Bear without me nearby. Bobby was very reassuring and made me comfortable that she would be ok. Bobby is friendly and makes scheduling easy. He helps her and, more importantly, me with leash training as well as smart recommendations regarding leash options, feeding habits, car restraints etc. Bobby cares about his dogs and I feel reassured knowing Bear is in his care!
Bobby is amazing with our dogs. We have two rescue pups who love going to day care 5 days a week. They have been with Bobby for almost a year and their behavior has improved as a result. Bobby is great at understanding what dogs need and taking care of them. Both our dogs have had a history of abuse and neither have reacted poorly to anything he has done. It's clear that he genuinely cares about what is best for your dog. There are a few reviewers saying that he is rude/unprofessional. I've never experienced this. Bobby is much more focused on the dogs than the pet parents, and that's exactly what I would want. He is reliable, flexible, and very accommodating. He is casual, and always texts to communicate. He is fast to respond and will schedule your drop-off and pick-up times with you to make sure it works for his schedule and yours.
My dog loves going to daycare at Blue Dog. I have been taking him here for several months after he developed separation anxiety, and I can tell that he is comfortable and always has fun here. Bobby runs a great facility and it is obvious he cares for all of his dogs. Highly recommend!
Our experience with Blue Dog has been amazing. Bobby saved the day in assisting us with a sitter on such short notice. The information he gave us was clear and concise which, in turn, made the process that much easier for us. To add, since it was our first time ever leaving our Charlie in the care of someone else, we weren’t sure how we would feel. Once we stepped into Blue Dog K9 Care we felt relieved and could tell he was in great hands. Definitely looking forward to doing business with them in the future!
Bobby is amazing! He does an awesome job looking after my pup and is very responsive. I'm new to the area, but he is my go to pet sitter now. My puppy also seems very happy and calm when he returns. I would 10/10 recommend Blue Dog K9 care in Cincinnati
I don't trust a lot of people to take care of my pups, but Bobby is one of the ones I completely trust taking my dogs to when I go out of town. He treats my dogs like his own and takes very good care of them. He really knows what he is doing and has helped out on the obedience side of things of well. I highly recommend Blue Dog K9 Care.
I will recommend Blue Dog to anyone in need of care for their dog. My dog has separation anxiety and I was really hesitant to leave him for an extended period of time. Blue Dog was incredibly accommodating of my special requests and gave him his supplements with no added charge. Additionally, my travel plans changed several times and the owner was very flexible with that as well. My dog came home happy and tired from all the playing he did while he was staying at Blue Dog. It was a great experience for both my dog and I, the treatment was much more personal than what I would’ve received at another dog care facility. Thank you Bobby! Beau and I appreciate everything you did for us.
Bobby is amazing! We went in for a meet and greet yesterday, and he trimmed my dog's nails. This is a huge victory. Many groomers and her vet have failed to complete this task. She hates having her nails trimmed. Bobby is truly a dog whisperer! He was great with our dog, and we look forward to her upcoming boarding stay with Blue Dog.
Great boarding facility! Was coming into Cincinnati for a wedding and bringing our German Shepherd..called the facility a week ahead to book and the owner was super friendly. He asked multiple questions about our dog and got our vet information. Owners very knowledgeable and familiar with all breeds. Upon arrival, the facility was very clean and a great layout. There was very large kennels for each dog, large play areas, and nice outside turfed area. Absolutely recommended!
Love it here. My two dogs always enjoy boarding and daycare here and I love that they send photo updates of their play. They have never gotten sick after a stay. One area of opportunity is the redundant request for information when creating pet profiles online, again when calling or reserve boarding and then again at drop off.
The staff there are amazing! Caring and friendly. Cannot say enough! And it's always so clean there too. My boy LOVED going there for boarding and doggie daycare when boarded weekdays, even though he knew he was going to be without me. He whined in excitement all the way there! Pictures they sent always showed a Gus smile. I would not hesitate to take a canine there for daycare and boarding! Gus and I loved them!
We have boarded our dog here and we take her to daycare here every now and again. They are courteous, caring and show passion for our dog which is so important. They give us picture updates and their cost is extremely reasonable!
This was the best experience we have ever had. Our 2 year old got to run and play and our 15 year old got to rest and relax, both got everything they needed. We got daily pictures and any updates that they felt we needed. Truly was a great experience!
We use them when we take weekend getaways for my Yorkie. He hates when he leaves, but I don't worry about him. The staff always send pictures of him out playing!
I left my dog here for a week, and he seemed to have been very happy while he was there. I appreciated the updates on how he was doing and I feel they took excelent care of him. When I picked him up he was more behaved then when we left him. I also feel that the price for boarding and daycare was great for the level of service. I felt very at ease having my dog stay here.
We've left our dog at Ruffin' It twice now, and while we were told that he wasn't able to do open play last time he was there, which was understandable, but this meant we were extra looking forward to the getting him that opportunity during his next stay. (He's an anxious boy, and despite being 50+ lbs, at home he's completely submissive to our geriatric 15 year old cat, and hasn't had any issues the couple times he got to interact with our old neighbor's little weiner dog, so we were hoping the opportunity to play with other dogs might be a great experience for him.) So for his second stay we made sure his immunization records and open play questionnaire were submitted up-front so he'd have an opportunity to finally interact with the other dogs! As I picked him up this time I asked how he did with the other dogs during open play, only to be told that he wasn't allowed to do open play because of "what happened last time." ...only to find out that he actually WAS let out for open play during his first visit (contrary to what we'd been told), where he got into an altercation with 2 other dogs. I'd say that's pretty critical information for an owner to know, and it's the type of thing that's important enough to warrant letting us know immediately when it happens, not months later during pick-up of a subsequent stay. Needless to say, next time we'll look for somewhere that's actually committed to keeping us informed of how our dog's stay actually goes.
We’ve been using Ruffin’ It for years and they’re always so great with my pup, he loves daycare! My go-to place for anytime we need boarding. Highly recommend!
Chewy loves it here. Being a chihuahua he is not to keen on people but loves the staff and his buddies at doggie day care. Once I get close he is wagging his tail and ready to jump out the door. Lol. When we walk in he goes straight to the door or staff member to greet and let him in, I'm so glad he has a place to hang out and play where he feels comfortable.
I've been coming to Ruffin it for about a year on and off for daycare. In the beginning it was great and the staff are friendly. But the last few times I've taken my dog here she's been coming home smelling horrendous. And I have to give her a bath to get the stink off everytime. And after a long day at work I don't wanna have to come home and give my dog a bath everytime. Not sure why the cleanliness of this place has gotten worst but it wasn't like this when I first started coming here. I chalked it up as a one off and took my dog 2 more times and the samething happened. Also, my dog has gotten an eye infection twice after I've taken her to daycare. Again I understand things like this are inevitable but the smell and cleanliness shouldn't be.
I have been taking my little guy, Hendrix, to Pet Life in Cincy for about 8 months now and he LOVES it. Maria is so responsive and she posts and sends pictures of your pup all day while they are playing. She walks them, takes them to the park, and is always planning special little outings for them. Maria loves on Hendrix like he is her own dog and I can tell that they have a special bond. If you are considering sending your pup to daycare this is the perfect place! Look no further.
There is no one I trust more with my dog than Maria! We have been sending Charlie to Pet Life for almost two years. He was initially a clingy, shy rescue dog who just liked to sit on laps, but now Charlie runs right into Maria’s without looking back. And he has become is so playful and energetic with the other dogs - something we’ve never seen before! Maria is constantly sending updates throughout daycare and boarding, going on park adventures, and taking a lot of cute photo shoots. All the dogs are treated like her own!
Maria treats her daycare dogs like just like they are her own! She sends constant updates throughout the day, pictures of adventures and playtime, and a daily summary of each puppy’s day with her. Maria helps to reinforce positive behavior’s with her daycare pups, and is a safe place where dogs can feel relaxed and enjoy a stress-free day. Our pup loves Maria and her days spent at Pet Life in Cincy!

Maria is an excellent and very reliable sitter. She takes care of our fur babies like they're her own. She sends updates and pictures throughout the day so that we can have peace of mind, and know how much fun they're having. Maria is really good at making sure that our pups get plenty of exercise, cuddles, nap time, and love. Our boys really love spending time with her and we only trust her to take care of our boys.
