I am so grateful to have found this amazing daycare for Eddie! The owner, Jessica is incredibly friendly and always willing to help with any questions or concerns. She truly cares about the dogs and is fantastic with my dog, who always comes home happy and well taken care of. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a safe and loving environment for their pet!

Awesome place for dogs big and small. Owner and staff are excellent. They take fun photos for holidays. If you bring cake or cookies on your dogs birthday. They get to have a doggie birthday party! They also provide grooming services.

I can’t speak on the quality of services but the customer services needs major improvements. I just moved to Langley a couple months ago and I needed to find a new grimmer/doggie daycare and my lash tech referred me here. I booked my dog in for a grooming appointment + doggie daycare visit weeks ago for today (Oct 24) scheduled for 9am which was a couple hours after they are open. As common courtesy I showed up early because I was sure I would need to sign papers, show proof of vaccines etc. I arrive at 8:45. The lights were off, door locked, no one answering the doorbell and the phone number on the website and Google was no longer in service. I messaged their Instagram account as i noticed they were actively posting on their Instagram stories but never received a response. I waited around until 9:20 until I finally decided it was time to leave. I could see a dog in the window but it didn’t look like anyone was actually present. No one reached out about my missed appointment or to apologize for not showing up.

Love this place! My dogs love to go there and the grooming is well priced and done well. We have been coming here for years

Excellent daycare! My dog loves it there....have been going there since she was a puppy. Jessica is great with all the dogs & I know they're well cared for there. I've also boarded Molly with Jessica several times, and I never have to worry about her. I would highly recommend this doggy daycare!

This is such an amazing daycare for my English bulldog! Jessica, the owner builds such a good relationship with my dog, she is excited to go to daycare everyday, and is exhausted when we pick her up at the end of the day! Jessica takes a doggy centered approach, is very professional and caring! I cannot say enough wonderful things about her service!

I took my doodle Frankie today for a groom for the first time here. The experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff is so friendly, professional and exceptionally kind to the animals. Plus Frankie walked out looking so pretty sporting the perfect cut. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be going back.

I would not recommend anywhere else! This place is absolutely amazing! My fur baby loves coming here and he gets excited as soon as we park the car because he knows exactly where he is! I did the boarding 3 nights with them and I had an amazing experience my puppy was so happy when I picked him up. I had seen some horror stories about rover so I was happy to give this place a chance and I am glad I did. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

Our puppy absolutely loves going to Pawventures. She pulls on her leash hard when we are getting out of the truck. Isn't that all a person would need to know that their animal is loved and taken care of at the daycare? Jessica really loves animals and it shows. Our puppy Bailey absolutely loves her. Massive props to Jessica @ pawventures for her reasonably priced and well run daycare. Highly recommend her service.

I have a pandemic pup and while slowly returning to work I tried several dog walking companies. When I tried Lisa and her crew, I knew I had found the right fit for my girl. Christina walks Capri 4-5 times a week, 1-2 times a day. She has been available on short notice when things have suddenly come up with work and is super accommodating. The way Capri reacts when she sees Christina and her pup friends shows how much she enjoys her play time. From hikes to swimming to trail walks, Capri always comes back home exhausted after a great play date. I can’t even say the names Christina, Sophie and Lucy because Capri runs to the window looking for them. Capri is socialized with dogs and now horses as well! :) When Christina has time off, Capri also enjoys going with Kate and Monique. Never have I been worried about my girl when I am at work. We have been using Lisa's dog walking services for a few months now and our pup Rey has really come a long way. I wanted to get help with continuing Rey's training and walking was getting overwhelming for me trying to teach her not to pull. With Lisa's help Rey is getting much better for me on walks and when Lisa takes her out she is able to drop her leash all together now which is amazing progress! Rey comes home exhausted and most mornings she is waiting at the window hoping its one of her adventure days! Thank you Lisa!

I think we were Lisa's first if not one of her first clients. Always accomodating, always on time, the dogs absolutely adore her and we absolutely trust her with our home and our dogs. Drops everything in an emergency and brings fun and stimulations into our dogs' lives. Thanks Lisa. Luv ya!!

Contacted Lisa for dog walking services a few months back, she wanted to know who we were using as a dog trainer, I told her and then and received a very rude, unsolicited lecture about the dog trainer we were using and our chosen training methods. All I wanted was someone to take our dog on a walk from the house for once or twice a week, I did NOT ask for training advice. Didn't feel comfortable proceeding. Very unprofessional.

Lisa is the most amazing human. My shy rescue dog came out of his shell with her. He is now amazing off leash, loves to explore, and just a happier dog! We were so sad to move away and leave Astro’s favourite person but had to leave this review to hopefully help everyone looking for a dog walker/sitter/new best buddy! Lisa is THE BEST!

My family got sick and we needed help with daily walks for my puppy. On short notice I was able to get services set up with Lisa & her reliable and trusty team. I have never trusted my fur babies to anyone, and have always felt weary of walkers because I didn't feel secure in how they would treat my furry family members. I met Lisa and Alyssa while we were all walking our dogs, so I got to see first hand the individualized attention they give their charges. We chatted a bit about different training techniques and styles, and suffice it to say, as soon as they had an opening, I signed my girls up. They provide a service I'm happy to pay for, with regular check ins on how things are going, and behavioral issues, and I can even catch glimpses of my girls on their social media posts, which I love. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Lisa took care of our 2 budgies while we were away for 6 days. She took amazing care of them and they were very contented on our return. She really is good with all animals.

Since the fall, Lisa has come regularly to walk my dog on days I cannot come home for lunch. Has never missed an appointment has been incredibly flexible when I request an additional dog walk during the week. Lisa is truly a life saver. While I'm not often around when she comes, I can tell my dog is comfortable and feels safe when she comes by. Thank you Petplayland!

Our dog local daycare closed so we decided to try Gizmo's Dog Den Daycare in Langley. Our dog loves it here and loves the owners Eric and Danna! They have a love for dogs so I know mine is always cared for while I am at work. I would highly recommend Gizmo's!!!

My dog has been coming since opening and loves it! They're amazing with her high energy and she always comes home pooped. She looks forward to drop off in the mornings.

We brought our 3 week old rescue "Skye" for dog boarding. Danna encouraged us to drop her off at day care to socialize with the other dogs (not all doggy daycare do this, and appreciate it) and glad that Skye did well with the other doggos. Danna and Eric are so knowledgeable of all the dogs in their daycare. There's a difference of liking what you do and loving it, Danna and Eric embodies the love for all the dogs. Before Adele’s Doggy Daycare, our dog Harley had been asked to not come back to so many doggy daycare, not because of any aggression issues but because Harley suffered with extreme separation anxiety. Harley was born during Covid and this had a huge impact on her being away from us. We had heard from others Adele’s was the best. We quickly got onto their waitlist and took the first opportunity we had when a spot opened. The team at Adele’s welcomed us and Harley in a way no other doggy daycare had. The outdoor and indoor space is fabulous, something you don’t always get with other doggy daycares. Harley’s first day there was really hard and we were worried that yet again they would ask her not to come back from her all day barking. Vincent and I had a chat and he asked if I would trust him to work with Harley and to please keep brining her back. Harley is a completely different dog because of Adele’s. She now runs to the door when we drop her off, she doesn’t bark all day long, she plays all day, has doggy friends and we have noticed such a change in her at home. Adele’s amazing team of staff truly care for and are exceptional with our dogs. Thank you Adele’s for helping Harley gain her confidence!

Adele's Doggie Daycare is a great place to take your pup for daycare. Vincent and Brenda and all of their staff members are great people who just love the pups they care for. The pups have so much fun playing in the yard; we love that it's artificial turf so no matter the weather, Penny comes home clean and happy. It's also wonderful that they have a large indoor space and a large covered portion of the yard. We love how much they post photos on Facebook. It's fun to see what the pups are up to.

We highly recommend this fabulous company for your furry loved ones. Our Maui enjoys the weekly day care so much that she can barely contain her enthusiasm when we pull in the drive! We also were very thankful to obtain a coveted spot for a week of boarding recently. We had no concerns about leaving our girl for a week and knew that she was in the best care. They respond to emails and texts within a reasonable time, are so well organized and we just love that the staff that treats Maui like she is their own! We also appreciate the photos posted throughout the day on their Facebook page! Keep up the extraordinary work!

We left our dog Rio at Adele’s for the first time yesterday. The facility itself is clean and well laid out for dog play! The staff is calm and friendly. It was very hard for us to leave our dog, but the staff was awesome with updates and pictures and Rio came home happy as could be. We are leaving him again for two weeks in the summer and would actually like to leave him there for playtime and care randomly through the year. Adele’s was highly recommended to us by friends and now we see why! We are very appreciative.

My dog Biggie (35 lb Cockapoo) went to Adele's for over 3 years and it was a great experience. Staff were amazing with him and he always came home very tired from a fun filled day. Biggie would get excited every time we pulled up and would jump out of the car ready to play. He attended the Cloverdale location for daycare, and boarded frequently at the Aldergrove location. It was a big relief to know he was happy there and I could go on trips for work or pleasure without a worry. Sadly we recently moved out of province and now I'm on the hunt for a new doggie daycare. It will be difficult to find another place like Adele's! Highly recommend

My dog always go to different daycare and boarding places before but since I’ve known Adele I don’t want my dog to go to any place now because how satisfied I am with them. Adele’s doggy daycare is far the best place for my furbaby. The staff and the owner are so wonderful. The place is so clean and you know your fur baby always have an amazing time with his daycare. They will treat your fur baby like their own and you know they care. They are very organized and easy to deal with in terms of schedules and payments. They have two amazing locations that fits your needs for boarding or daycare. I felt so at ease knowing that my fur baby is safe and happy. I highly recommend this place for your fur baby to try And you will never regret it.

Our little Lexie has been going to Adele's Doggy Daycare for a few years now. She's been to both their Cloverdale and Aldergrove locations. Everytime we take her there, she always comes home happy. Everyone is wonderful to work with and they treat Lexie as if she's their own. Another great thing about Adele's is the updates on their social media- if I'm ever wondering how Lexie is doing while she's there, I can just check their facebook page. We wouldn't trust any other place for her!

At Adele’s Doggie Daycare your fur baby will have a safe place for fun, lots of play time and most importantly a staff that truly care for your loved one. Before we even approach the daycare my pup is so excited and can’t wait to go play with his buddies! I enjoy seeing photos and videos of my pup posted during the day and having the piece of mind that he’s happy and well. They also offer kennel/boarding services which is fabulous! Adele’s Doggie Day Care is truly the best! This is a family owned and run business and they really do love and care for all the dogs there. My Frenchie Vinny loves going there, he gets to play with all the dogs and he is always excited to see the staff. The staff is always aware of the temperature outside to make sure specific dogs, like my Vinny, sit and rest or go into the air conditioned area. I know Vinny gets 100% care when he is there and I never worry about him. I highly recommend Adele’s Doggie Day Care for anyone who wants the best care for there pup!

We have been bringing our pup to Adele’s for 3.5 years now, since he was just a young puppy. Adele’s Doggie Daycare is owned & run by an incredible family who we have also grown to love! It is a very safe, well run, clean, organized and active place for your dog to spend their day. Huge outdoor space with synthetic grass, lots of equipment to keep things interesting, pools & water on hot days, and also lots of covered space & indoor areas for the rainy days. Our dog can hardly contain his excitement on daycare days! Another benefit is a well socialized & completely exhausted pet at the end of the day, makes for a nice peaceful evening. Adele’s is a fantastic daycare, great friendly knowledgeable staff & just knowing our dog is loved, cared for & safe is huge piece of mind on busy days!

I can’t say enough good things about Peticious Dog Spa and Play! From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is a haven for dogs. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and truly passionate about what they do. Their facility was also incredibly clean and quiet. My dog was immediately at ease thanks to their gentle approach and warm demeanor. The grooming itself was top-notch! My pup came out looking like a show dog—clean, perfectly trimmed, and smelling amazing. The attention to detail was impeccable, from his neatly trimmed nails to his perfectly fluffed coat. They even included a cute little bandana as a finishing touch, which melted my heart. What sets this place apart is the care they put into making the experience stress-free for both pets and owners. They took the time to understand my dog’s needs and preferences, and their communication throughout the process was excellent. We can’t wait to come back!

This was the first time visiting but won’t be my last. The owners were super friendly and welcoming and with Luna being a rather anxious dog I am always worried when trying new groomers but that worry was put to rest when dropping off Luna as well as when picking her up. Not only did she look fresh and like a puppy, she didn’t seem anxious and didn’t whine like she normally does when I come home. We’ll definitely be trialing Luna for the daycare. Thanks Selma and we’ll definitely see you again. 100% recommend.

They did such a great job that our Coco looks so handsome! PetSmart usually asks for pick-up after 3 hours, but here it only took 1 hour and 30 minutes, so Coco seemed less stressed. I highly recommend their dog grooming service!

I am so thankful to have a place like petcious in Langley. They really care for your pup like no other and grooming and daycare service is top touch. I’ve visited many different doggy daycares in Vancouver and groomers around the city and I never felt like it was worth the $$$$. I also have an anxious dog so I am always worried and cautious about dropping him off at daycares or at groomers but that’s not the case at petcious! they give the time and attention that my dog needs and he loves seeing Selma. I almost want to gatekeep this place but I also want to share the best grooming and daycare service with the community :)

Petcious Dog Spa and Play is an excellent place for grooming and daycare. Selma has taken great care of my dog, Amy for the past 3 years. At the spa she had a fantastic experience and left looking so cute and smelling great! During the play sessions she socializes with the other dogs and always has so much fun!

Not only does Daisy come home exhausted from playing all day, Petcious gives her a space to play and run around with other puppies and allows her to rest and enjoy some space alone when needed. They take great care of the space and the dogs. Always something exciting going on for them to do and makes it fun! She’s always being cared for and loved. As excited as Daisy is to see me when I pick her up, she is also just as excited when I drop her off!

Selma is such a kind and caring groomer, and her skills are truly outstanding. My dog, Krumi, used to get very anxious whenever we visited other groomers, and it was always a stressful experience. Ever since we started going to Selma, that stress has completely disappeared. Krumi now feels comfortable and even looks forward to her grooming sessions. Selma is also an amazing photographer. Some of my favorite pictures of Krumi are the ones she took after grooming. I highly recommend her to anyone with a dog that tends to be nervous like mine.

Best shop in Langley! I always trust the groomers here and have a wonderful experience every time. They are so friendly and always greet you with a smile! My dog always looks beautiful after her grooming. She can get a bit nervous or sensitive in grooming situations, but they always know how to calm her and make her look amazing. I recently started taking my dog to Petcious, the new dog daycare facility in Langley, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The facility is spotless, which immediately put my mind at ease. The cleanliness of the space is top-notch! The staff at Petcious are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They genuinely care about the dogs and take the time to get to know each one. My dog always comes home happy and tired, which is a great sign that she’s getting lots of attention and playtime. She absolutely loves it there and rushes in to join and play every time we arrive. Additionally, I’ve had her groomed at Petcious, and she always looks fantastic after each grooming session. Ivy is a bit shy, but the groomers made her feel so comfortable, and she came out looking adorable! They’re patient and detail-oriented, and you can tell they genuinely care about each pup. Purple Paws is amazing! Mirela looked after our many animals (two cats, five rats, nine rabbits, one guinea pig and one of our dogs) and did such a wonderful job caring for them with love. We travel frequently and have had a variety of pet sitters over the last decade and have never come across someone who has done such a thorough job cleaning their enclosures, sending us updates, and especially leaving our house somehow cleaner than when we left it. Bella and Mirela were extremely professional and prompt in their communication and we felt confident in their abilities to the point that we truly relaxed during our trip and didn't worry about the health and comfort of our pets back at home. We received several photos and videos each day and our dog got longer walks than we even give him at home. I can't recommend Purple Paws enough!

Our babies loved Bella’s visits very much which put our minds at ease while we were away. Bella brushed them, loved them and played with them, and they certainly got lots of snuggles. We received so many sweet photos and videos during each visit as well. Highly recommend Bella and Purple Paws for any fur family care! The process is very simple and well facilitated by Bella with visits before care to get to know each other - this helped our comfort level for sure. We will use Bella going forward so that our kitties are happy and healthy and loved.

Bella exceeded our expectations while taking care of our kitten when we were away for the holidays. It was our first time leaving her for an extended period, and Bella made it so much easier and stress free. She was very flexible when planning a time to meet us, and pick up/drop off house keys. The amount of pictures and videos she sent really showed how much time and attention she was giving our baby while we were gone. Whenever we need a pet sitter we will be calling Bella!! Bella is the best, this is the first time I decided not to bring my cat to a Cat Hotel and to get someone to take care for him home and this was the best decision I've made. While on vacation I was constantly getting a videos and pictures from her with a very detailed explanation of my cat's routine. My cat was just very happy with her and doesn't missed us at all. I would highly recommend her to anyone who want a good care of their pet and also a very reasonable on prices. I will use her again for sure

Bella was amazing and gave us great peace of mind so we could enjoy our vacation knowing our two cats were well looked after. She communicated regularly and provided photos and videos so we could see how they were doing. Knowing how stress can impact our cats’ health we were so glad to have someone provide them care in our own home.

Bella is a fantastic pet sitter. She looked after our two cats for a week. Our cats absolutely loved her and warmed up to her very quickly. Bella sent us photos everyday and we came home to very happy cats!

Have our dog walked every week by Red Cedar, and would absolutely ( and do) recommend them. They take our black lab every week for walks, and she loves Mitchell. Even saying his name, she gets excited! Super professional, always sends pictures and goes above and beyond when I have needed him in a pinch.

Mitchell has been walking our two dogs since he started Red Cedar Dog Walkers. Our dogs absolutely adore him, and I know they are in good, safe hands when they are with him. Mitchell has always been incredibly easy to work with, accommodating to any special requests, and his photos and updates from walks are so appreciated.

We absolutely love Mitchell and his walkers with Red Cedar. We were recommended to him when our original dog walker left on mat leave. Honestly, it was the best recommendation. Mitchell and his employees treat my babies like their own, there is so much love and care and they are so accommodating even with last minute changes. We are now a permanent part of the red cedar family and are so happy!

Thanks for all that you guys do for our dog. Bailey literally is bouncing off the walls when she knows you are coming to get her. The pics with locations and the 4 hour hikes you take her on with the other dogs are exactly what she needs. The care and love you show towards her is truly special and we haven't put our trust in any other walkers. Mitchell is amazing with her and knows how to settle her down. We have used red cedar since they started business and will be continuing to do so for Baileys life or as long as they are in business. I highly recommend them.

We have been using Red Cedar Dog Walkers on a daily basis for almost two years and can honestly say that from the beginning we have been so impressed with the professionalism and quality of care that we have received from Mitchell, Kiran and all staff we have come into contact with. Busy Paws Dog Walking services has been a Godsend for me as I was going back to work. My young pup was able to bond so well with Brandi and her dog(s). It really has put me at ease knowing my furbaby is in such capable hands. Brandi takes very good care in watching the interactions and behaviours of each dog in her care. Especially, how they get along in group walks with her group as well as interactions with other dogs at the dog park. I initially met Brandi while taking my dogs to the dog park and was able to connect with Brandi and all the dogs on numerous occasions. I gained first hand experience seeing how she handles her pack on day-to-day situations. I would not trust anyone else to to watch my dog on a regular basis. Absolutely would recommend Busy Paws Dog Walking and Pet Services again and again.

Brandi is a fantastic dog walker and human in general. I made a post a while back seeking help with one of my reptiles (she is a vet tech as well) which she responded to; she came to my place every day to give my reptile his injections as I was not capable. This was on and off for several months. She’s also helped me with my dog many times. 5/5, would recommend and would entrust her with any of my animals lives.

Busy Paws has been awesome walking and looking after my rescue dog, Zoey. She came from a kill shelter and developed severe separation anxiety and some other issues. Normally, with new people, she can be very skittish, but was very comfortable around Brandi right away. I would definitely recommend Busy Paws to anyone looking for a dog walker or pet sitter.

Our family have a small Shih Tzu cross named “Rocket”. We were going away on a family vacation and luckily there was availability at Busy Paws which we found online. Rocket becomes anxious for a lot of reasons including when placed in an unfamiliar environment. However, when I met Brandi who is clearly an expert with animals, I could see right away that our dog would be happy there and well cared for. During our trip we were sent photos and a video clip of him looking very content. When we got back Rocket was in great spirits. We are thankful to have found Busy Paws and I definitely recommend them.

Brandi has been amazing in taking my dog for walks. My dog usually is rude to people he initially meets me but was surprisingly receptive to her. I highly recommend her service to anyone in the Langley & Surrey area.

Busy Paws was awesome! Brandi was phenominal and very knowledgeable. I have a small dog (pug cross) and a pretty big collie and she was able to handle both of them no problem and even handled the anal gland situation my pug had developed (gross i didnt want to deal with it myself) brandi knows what shes doing and really seems to care.

Brandi provided exceptional care for my elderly cat, who is on meds twice daily. I came home to a tidy litter box and a very happy kitty! I highly recommend Busy Paws.

Brandi the owner has been working with my puppy Miso (a Pomeranian shitzhu cross) She is a moody little puppy and while I'm at work she comes to help out my wife who is taking care of our 1 year old. If you can imagine having a young puppy and a young baby can be cute but it can be a LOT of work. Since my daughter's birth Brandi and Busy Paws has been a huge huge help. She is always friendly always on time...and most importantly she is extremely good with Miso.

Brandi took care of my cat while I was on vacation. She did an amazing job! She kept us informed during our vacation. Would highly recommend her and use her again! A+++++

We recently switched to Surrey's Country Canine Retreat after our previous daycare closed. We are so happy we chose here. Our boxer Luna loves being there is excited to arrive and says goodbye to the staff when she leaves. We are also fortunate that there were other female boxers of a similar age to play with. She is relaxed when she gets home from a fun day of play. Highly recommend this place for your dog to socialize and exercise.

Our 2 fur kids have been going to CCR for the past few years for daycare and overnight boarding. Both of them + us humans love it! They’re always so excited when we pull up and see everyone that works there. We love seeing the photos of what they’re up to with their doggie friends on their Facebook page. Best of all.. they come home exhausted! Our girl had to undergo surgery recently for a tumour removal and she couldn’t be left alone because she’d always find a way to remove her cone. They were able to accommodate and watch her in their office to make sure she doesn’t pick at her sutures! Thanks so much to everyone at CCR for all that you do!

My dog was bitten here and received 13 stitches. Vet bills were paid by the dog owner via the facility but I was never given the dog breed information even after multiple requests.

My dog had a blast, came home with a welcomed daycare hangover and slept all night. Staff was very helpful, got him through his first nail trim no problem. Been several times now and each time better than the last. Staff really love the dogs and it shows.

Awesome outfit. Outdoor play for the dogs. Whole bunch of pro trainers and dog people keeping an eye on your dogs at all times. The take pics all day long and post them on Facebook and Instagram so you can see what your pups are doing. They have several play areas and keep large and small dogs separate. But they will keep siblings together. Athena and Jamieson had a blast yesterday and were wiped when we brought them home. Very professional and friendly from confirming booking to drop off to pick up. We will be booking them for a prolonged stay when we go to Mexico in May.

My pup Charlie absolutely loves the staff! They greet her with love and kindness! They are knowledgeable and very professional!

Surrey Canine Retreat and their team of incredible staff are hands down the best doggy daycare around! I’ve been taking my 3yr old Aussie Shepherd x Border Collie cross Kevin here since he was a puppy and he just loves it. The staff are so good with him, the place is so well run, clean, the staff all understand dog behaviour and cater to every dogs needs - so much value for what you are spending. I have since moved to the South Okanagan and continue to make the trip down for this doggy daycare when it’s needed because that’s how good this place is! Highly highly recommend!

I don't know if this is a new policy because I don't see this mentioned elsewhere in the reviews, but I was told they no longer allow tours -a big concern for me since my girl is so nervous/anxious. Who could blindly drop their dog off at a facility with no idea how well kept it is, water sources, shade, sense of scale, number of dogs, etc...but they convinced me to try it anyway. They told me to look at photos on Facebook (I am never on Facebook) but their photos are mainly close ups of dogs, none of just the facility or layout, at least not that I saw. And I'm not about to sift through a million photos of dogs just to try and make sense of the facility. For anyone who also cares, there is also no information on human to dog ratio mentioned anywhere so I emailed to ask. They said the typical number is 1 person : 10 dogs but that it can vary. Vary upwards or down? Okay, so we tried the trial day. So my two stars is mainly about what followed today after my dog's trial today Sept 15, 2023. I waited half the day for them to post 5 photos on Facebook. My doggo looked happy enough but I was still sketched out.. so I thought about it and emailed requesting if they could do a video tour. Someone is already there with a camera so I don't see the harm in it, even if it's just a recording that gets posted once to their website. No one emailed back. So when I picked up my dog, (who was choking herself on the leash in the direction of "away" as soon as we stepped out the gate. She only does this in flight mode.) - I asked again if it would be possible to get a video tour. Aleisha (sp) was there for pickup - she reminded me of the photos on Facebook and that I could look on google maps for an aerial view. I already did that, so I asked a second time if a video tour would be at all possible, kindly of course. And her response had an edge of irritation, like I was asking an annoying question. She said she'd check with her manager Monday, but its not something they do. I don't know what caused my dog's reaction. It's hard to tell because there is no transparency and such a reluctance to share video or give tours of the daycare. All I know is I feel uneasy about this and returning. At the very least, put a video/photo tour on your website if you aren't offering in-person tours. This is honest customer feedback I hope you guys take into consideration.

My experience with Surrey Canine Retreat and their sister daycare, Country Paws Kennels, was disappointing. I am in agreement with other reviews - friendly staff and the photos are cute. However there is a lack of competency, particularly with dog breeds labelled as challenging (eg. German Shepherd, Pit bull, Rottweiler)… unable to adequately handle and train the dogs they service and support. Country Paws Kennels is the sister daycare/“training-based facility”. I was informed that there would be fewer dogs and more opportunity for training, instead my pup was kennelled majority of the day. I inquired on several occasions re: transitioning back to Surrey Canine (as I was informed he would only need a handful of sessions at the sister daycare).. minimal feedback was provided and often they could not comment on his progression/growth and continued to “push” his transition date back. I would not recommend either setting.

Our adolescent dog LOVES his days at the Country Canine Retreat. We love them too because he comes home exhausted and soooo happy!! We noticed a significant improvement in his behavior after he started attending a few days a week - he was finally able to really burn off all his energy and get some safe and friendly socialization with other dogs. I would recommend Country Canine to anyone with a dog who loves to play!

Jennifer at Pawsabilities took care of our boxer while we were out of town for a week. Jennifer takes your dog into her home and treats them as one of her family, playing in the yard and cuddling on the couch. She even sends you pictures each day of what your dog is up to. For us that was often cuddling on the couch with Jennifer's daughters. This was a far better option for us than leaving our boxer in a standard kennel in a concrete room. We were hugely relieved to see that our dog was having a great time. Thank you Jennifer!

We brought our overgrown bernadoodle to K9 friends for the first time. We weren’t expecting much bc we knew how matted her fur was. Normally groomers spend about 2 - 2 1/2 hours her. They end up shaving her down due to the matting in her under coat. We are fine with that. We understand time is money. Alex ended spend over 4 hours on her. Taking her time and brushing through a lot of her coat. We were shocked at the result. She had much more of her coat left than we expected. The perfect length for going into the cooler months. She is now shiny and soft and looking much less “bear” like. Thank you so much Alex and Cici!

Cici and her team are incredible. We are first-time dog owners with busy lives, and Cici has made our adjustment smooth and fun. Our girl Penny goes to daycare 3 times a week to play with the team at K9 friends, plus we receive 2x the 3-pack training. Penny responded so quickly, and it was clear and repeatable for us to do at home. Cici also came to our home and helped us where the action happens, and helped us get our little kitchen shark under control and make our mornings fun. We have used the boarding while I travel for work, and Penny loved it! She is so well cared for and has the right balance of love and boundaries. I can’t thank you enough Cici. I recommend her training and all other services to anyone who asks. People can tell Penny is thriving.

Where do I start? CiCi is such a sweetheart! She puts her heart and soul into the dogs she takes care of. Our dogs are always very excited to see her, and they come back tired. We get regular updates when they are in her care, which is always reassuring. She has managed to get our dog to play fetch calmly (I don’t know how she did it, she’s amazing). It is so hard to come by another person who will look after your dogs better than you do, but Cici is that person. 😁 We will always be regular returning customers, can’t say enough great things about this company or the lady that runs it. 10/10. 😁

We had a fantastic experience with k9 friends. Cici is very knowledgeable. Her care for your pup, their happiness, their progression, and the synchronicity in your home is evidently very important to her. We did a 3 day training package and our minds were blown with the difference in our pup in just 3 days. He was attentive, obedient, calm, and happy. Cici worked with our wishes and budget to best suit our needs and I would recommend k9 friends to anyone and everyone.

We met Ci Ci i think 2 years ago- and we can say we love her ! I did a board and train package with her . She changed my huskies behaviour and he came back so well behaved. He was with her for about a week- all my friends noticed the change in him ! She really does know her stuff - it’s so unbelievable. She has the knowledge and the passion for dog training. She has a caring heart as well. Definitely give her 5 stars.

I can’t say enough good things about K9 Friends Dog Daycare. They checked all of the boxes when I started looking for daycare/boarding for our puppy. Trust is huge and Cici made me feel comfortable from our first meeting. Not only is she a lovely human but her experience speaks for itself. It’s clear that she is devoted and truly cares for every animal in her care. The home style setup has been wonderful for our puppy, who was overwhelmed by traditional daycares. Our puppy is always tuckered out after daycare and is flourishing, gaining confidence and not picking up bad habits. I’m so glad to have found Cici to care for our little one while we are at work or on vacation.

I was having a hard time finding a trainer that I felt would work for us/ our dogs! When contacting K9 friends it just felt right! Cici is extremely kind and asked so many questions about our pups! Also she took so much of her time to explain everything in detail to me (which I deeply appreciate) after just two days of assessment I noticed a difference! And after a week of board and train we see the most amazing changes! Our goal is to make sure our dogs are getting everything they need in all aspects of their lives and seeing updates throughout the week I could already tell that our dogs were the happiest they’ve ever been. I honestly couldn’t thank Cici and her staff enough for everything they’ve done and we are so excited for what the future holds as we continue training with K9 friends!

Cici is so friendly and passionate about caring for dogs. She keeps us updated and lets us know if there are any issues which we really appreciate. We can tell the difference in our dogs walking much better right away after leaving them with Cici for daycare/boarding just a few times.

K9 Friends has been amazing! We've used both boarding and daycare for my dog and love the care and attention he receives - Cici really treats him like one of her own. He's always super excited when I drop him off and content (and tired!) when he comes home from all the walks and running around the huge property. I really like the family atmosphere and that he's not caged up like in larger daycares. Cici also provides great advice and is just genrally awesome! Rates are very competitive and Cody and I are so happy we found K9 Friends!
