Hilary was a fantastic pet sitter for our cat - you would be so lucky to have her care for your pet and home. She took exceptional care of her and our home. Hilary played so much with her and took the best care. She was communicative, easy to coordinate with, and left everything super clean for us when we came back. Five stars is understating how extraordinary she was - we cannot recommend her enough!!
Florence and Robert were outstanding sitters. We asked them to arrive a day early as our guests to learn the routine on our farm. In getting to know them we found them to be good hearted, down to earth people with a love of animals and diligent in learning our routines to care for our poultry, cats and dog as well as our garden and orchard. Not a typical or easy sit. We travelled with ease knowing our critters were being well taken care of. Arriving home, the house was very clean and looked well cared for. The animals were healthy as were the garden and orchard. Out pets missed them when they left – our dog stared down the driveway after them until their car was out of sight. It is nice to find sitters we would like to hang out with and we look forward to having them sit for us again.
Sharon and Milton were outstanding sitters and if I could give more than 5 stars I certainly would. Reliable, communicative, helpful, self sufficient and tidy, they took great care of my home. More importantly my cats were lovingly cared for and extremely content when we returned. I highly recommend Sharon and Milton without reservation and hope to have them return in the future.
Kathy and Ron have sat for us several times in the past and have always been excellent. They are our "go-to" pet and house sitters and we always check their availability before we post a sit. They are trustworthy, organized, communicate very well, and take great care of our cats and our house. We hope they will continue pet sitting for many years to come!
Best house and pet sitters we've ever had! They definitely gave our cat and dog plenty of love and attention.
Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. I would definitely recommend Brian.
Nathalie and John were great! They were great house sitters to watch our two dogs, 2 geckos, our old cat and bull frog. Their two girls took good care of the animals as well. The house was exactly how we left it. We really appreciated their help!
My partner and I left our cat Mango in Lindsey's care for a month so that we could get married. We were going from FL to ME, so it was a long way from home. We were gone for a month. Picking the right houses sitter was important. We are so glad we picked Lindsey (and she picked us). From before Lindsey got on her plan to fly down, until she was back home again Lindsey was communicative, considerate and positive. We felt like we had a family member staying at our place and because of who she is, Mango and our home's well being was a weight off our mind during the wedding. If the need arises in the future we will definitely be giving her the right of first refusal. Thank you so much Lindsey!
If Cung ever applies to your post for a house or pet sit, I strongly encourage you to jump at the offer. You will not be disappointed. Cung is among the top (if not the top) sitter I’ve ever had and I’ve been on this site for years. Primarily, Cung is very organized. In the weeks and days leading up to the sit, Cung kept me abreast of his plans and status. I felt very comfortable in the days leading up to the sit because I knew the plan we made to exchange the keys and walk him through the instructions would work as planned. Second, Cung really cares. When he got to my apartment after what I assume was a long day of traveling, I explained the care instructions and he was very attentive and cared about the details - asking very specific questions on how to care for my cat and apartment. I had some pretty specific rules about how to feed my cat and take care of him and Cung followed those exactly. Third, Cung makes you feel comfortable while you are away. I got daily or twice daily updates about my cat. I got pictures which made me feel like my cat was having a good time. My cat came out within an hour of me being away - very fast for my cat as he is shy. Cung must have a calming energy towards animals. Cung was also very responsive when I reached out first - replying within 5 minutes. I really appreciated that. My cat threw up at one point and Cung answered all of my questions to assess whether my cat was sick or had just eaten too fast. Fourth, Cung will take good care of your apartment/house. I came back to a SPOTLESS apartment. The sheets were washed and folded on my bed. The towels were washed. The apartment had been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The dishwasher had been run. Everything was in its place when I returned. Honestly, cleaner than when I left it which is difficult since I am a very clean person. Cung also respects your property. I have an extensive computer setup that he used for work and he was very respectful of that equipment. He asked if he could use it beforehand, which was incredibly polite since he could have used it and I wouldn’t have known. In sum. You need to jump at the opportunity if Cung offers to sit for you. I came home to a very happy cat. Hope he will sit for me again sometime!
Greetings Pet People, I am a bit late leaving my review for Kristine who is local to us and has taken care of our kitties Max and Luis a few times this year. After COVID-19 was announced in March, our travel plans came to an abrupt halt. We had to cancel a lot of trips we had planned but decided that it was safe to go camping a couple of times this summer. We called on Kristine as one of our favorite sitters on this site. We discussed safety protocols and agreed to cleaning that we would do to leave the house safe for her to enter. She shared protocols that she had taken with other homeowners and had sound processes to make us feel safe leaving our cats and our home in her care. She even purchased batteries for our automatic cat feeder when it failed to let one of our confused kitties to eat. Kristine is a smart, humorous and a thoughtful person. I would not hesitate to recommend her for your sit. She truly loves animals and taking care of your home. Highly recommended! Thanks Kristine!

Ms Edie is the BEST pet sitter, period. She's been my go to sitter since we moved to the area in 2015. She treats my animals like her own, and they all love her. We have dogs, cats, chickens, and goats. She's always on time, super reliable, and she's walked half a mile through the snow to get to my house when her car couldn't quite make it up the hill.
Edie has such a gift with animals. She is loving, caring, calm and in control. She took two extremely high anxiety dogs, stayed with them 24/7 for 6 days while we went on our first vacation in almost 4 years. She kept us updated through texts and pics to allay our fears throughout the vacation. When we returned, the work she had done with them to reduce their anxiety and barking was incredible. We cannot kennel our dogs due to their healthy issues so she was a godsend. Cannot recommend highly enough. If your pets are a valued member of your family, do yourself a solid and provide the highest quality care available. You will not be sorry!
We all love Miss Edie!
Jan deserves 5 stars, we’ve left our dog with her many times and always know he’s in good hands. She has a lot of experience with dogs and is very good with them. Kennels are clean, warm, and dogs are walked twice a day!
Awesome experience! Got a great vibe from the owner, who was super accommodating for drop off/pick up. Didn’t worry about my girl for a minute. It was obvious that Jen has years of experience and has the wisdom and confidence to show for it. The kennel itself was basic, but very clean & cozy. The property was beautiful and the dogs get daily walks in nature. Price was very reasonable and included food, treats, and any little medicine needed to navigate poorly tummies, etc. if they come up. When I picked up, my girl looked healthy (maybe even chunky from all the love she got), happy, and in good health!
So glad I found this place. Jan, the owner, is super friendly and demonstrates great enthusiasm and care for the animals under her care.
I wouldn't trust anyone but Jan with my dogs.... I have been a client of Jan's for several years. She is well caring for my dogs, and treats all of her boarding dogs with love and respect. Jan is very knowledgeable with dogs and the training of dogs, Jan is excellent with small and large breed dogs. As her and her husband were trainers of police dogs. You will not have any concerns when you meet Jan and see the large fenced acreage she has available for the kennel. My dogs and I look forward to our visits at Happy Barker Kennel.
Jan has countless years of hands on experience in caring for and training dogs of all breeds. She is so great with all the dogs she cares for and makes herself available all throughout the year. The kennels are clean and spacious. They are on her beautiful and natural property that is easy to find!
Jan has many years of experience working with dogs. I trust her care, and my dog gets very excited when I drop him off with her, I know he's in good hands.
Jan is the best. My dog Rudy went there his entire life and Jan took care of him like her own. She s an awesome lady.
Jan Fry was great love her she took our older pit for many trips. She also took my new rescue pit/mix who is very Leary of new people. 8 days later she was best buds.
While leaving the dog to go on vacation never feels awesome, I trust he's being well cared for at Happy Barker. Jan is very sweet, lets us know how he's been while we were away, and went above and beyond this last time, when he had a minor problem. As is the nature of vacations in the NW, we usually leave when the weather is worst here, and Pam does everything she can to make sure the dogs stay warm - blankets, doghouses, even space heaters (at a safe distance). To be clear, this is not doggie day care. Doggie day care is not for every dog, or every budget. For our semi-needy, not-always-friendly-with-other-dogs, dog, Happy Barker Kennel is a perfect fit. He loves the walks he gets on the large wooded property. We will be back!
Jan is the best!!! Completely reliable care, attention to detail and affordable. I am always reassured when I go out of town now.
The staff are extremely friendly and our dog Talia loves being there. We are so fortunate they are there to provide a weekly daycare outlet for our very energetic pet. In addition to our weekly daycare visits, we know we can leave town and have a completely worry-free boarding arrangement. One of the best businesses in our area, without a doubt.
I have been taking my twovDogTers to Running Pond Acres all year long, and love that they are safe, have their own room for boarding and daily interactions with other dogs so they come home tired and happy! My only wish (which takes no stars away from service) is that RPA would send pictures daily like our former boarding place. I miss them so much when they stay over for boarding.
Best place to board your dogs! Everything surpassed my expectations by far. The staff there loves and cares for your pets like they were their own.
Have taken our dogs here half a dozen times and have always been happy. Love that the dogs get to play in actual grass (in their own run) rather than just having a concrete pad
Our dog Luna has been going to RPA since she was a puppy. She has not been excited to go to other kennels, but is always ready to jump out of the car when we arrive at RPA. She is a very high energy dog and I appreciate they let the dogs play together. I very much appreciate the flat fee where other kennels want to nickel and dime you for add on services. We live in hood river and go out of our way to bring our dog here when we travel knowing she will be well taken care of. The staff has always been friendly and you can tell they are dog lovers. Their limited hours can be a challenge for us depending on when our flights come and go. It would be not be as big of an issue if we lived closer but they work hard to try and accommodate our needs.
We love Running Pond Acres and more importantly, our dogs love it too! We’ve been boarding our two dogs here for several years and have had a positive experience every time. Our dogs are well taken care of, and the staff are always pleasant.
Most amazing dog camp I’ve ever had the pleasure to send my dogs too. They take such good care of our dogs and they clearly have a lot of fun! Highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to send my dogs back so they can have a wonderful time and I can go on a vacation haha
We dropped off our 2 dogs for just over a week while we went out of the country for a wedding. They took wonderful care of our pups and we noticed they had tons of happy energy when we picked them up. The dogs run and play a bunch and our boxer had some tiny tears in her pad on one foot (a sign of having fun by my judgement, nothing a day or two of rest wont heal up) and our golden the folks caring for her absolutely adored. They said our dogs had endless personalities and were a joy to have around. They clearly care for each animal in their care. I say that as a paranoid helicopter dog dad I had 0 issues with how my pups were treated. It was $82/night for both dogs with strict pickup/drop-off times. There is a discount for cash payments, we paid by check so I'm not sure how much. The land and area around is gorgeous and very secure.
We love Running Pond Acres! Our pup, Muenster always has a great time staying here and comes back with big smiles and tail wags.
Terrific pet care! My dog loves staying here.
Love the owners. They always respond to messages. They really do love the dogs as they were their own. Very clean facility. Always look forward to our visits.
I took my 1.5 year old husky/German shepherd here for a overnight . Everything from the meet and great, to the drop off and pickup was extraordinary. My dog was able to run and play with other dogs and not be cooped up in a kennel all day. It was great to have the peace of mind knowing our dog was in good hands . This is the only place we will board our dog moving forward .
I dropped off my two dogs for a day care trial ( a Rottie and a frenchie) at this place thinking that they would take good care of my dogs and hoping that my dogs would have good experience because the owner convinced us that they would be given the care they needed, i warned the owner that my frenchie is easily overheated. Instead my Frenchie was literally dying when we picked her up. She was over heated so bad that her tongue was turning blue, she was whizzing, she couldn't breathe, she could barely walk to greet us. She puked multiple times as soon as i put her in the car!! I asked the owner what happened to her, he asked me back 'I don't know , you tell me what happened to her?'. What The Hell????!!! She was there all day long with him!!! Any idiot can tell my dog was dying!!! I asked him stuff he kept saying he doesn't know. Turned out i figured out that they just abandoned my dogs out in their field without a place to cool down all they long. No one checked on them. If i came 5-10 minutes late to pick them up my Frenchie would have been dead. I thought i lost my baby that day. It was so terrible. Both of my dogs are traumatized in this place. My Rottie ran up to us and jumped straight in the car. Not even a single looked back at the guy. He was so miserable in this place. I could tell. The whole time i was panicking trying to save my Frenchie there was no single apology from the owner instead he was playing dumb/ underestimated the condition of my Frenchie. It was a very traumatizing experience. So much for a good day care experience. More like pay me for abandoning your dogs in my field. Update to my review. The next day my Rotty is sick he has super messy poop and is lethargic. I can only imagine what my dogs been through in this daycare. This place is a nightmare.
Bark Run Play is the best dog care facility that you could ever hope for! If you read any reviews at all please read this one if you are searching for a place to take the best care of your animal while you’re away. They are professional, reliable, trustworthy & they have the cleanest facilities at all times, they always send me pictures and updates throughout my trips to let me know that my dog is loving his home away from home but most importantly they truly love my dog. Look no further, you will not be disappointed & your dog will be forever thankful to you for leaving him or her in their care!
We left our dogs there for 4 days while we flew out of state, and as far as I can tell our dogs had a good time. Before we boarded them, we had to take our dogs to the meet and greet, where we met one of the owners who was very nice and she kinda told us how they run things and showed us where the dogs will be staying. Then when we dropped the dogs off a week or so later we met the other owner, and he was super nice too. They both know a lot about dogs and know how to handle different kinds of breeds and different dogs needs. They even texted us pictures of our dogs during their stay to let us know how they were. All in all, including the low price, the whole thing was excellent and I will definitely come back if I need to board my dogs again.
Brian and Kerry took excellent care of our 11 month old lab. He got to run and play so much during his weekend stay that he slept all day when he got home! They were really good about keeping us updated with text messages and photos of our boy while we were gone, which helped us relax and enjoy our weekend. We will definitely use them again, and would highly recommend them!
I always hate leaving my pup when I go away, but this place helps to ease some of my worries because I know they always take great care of my boy. He comes back tired and looking like he had a blast. I tried a couple other dog boarding places before settling on this one and now they're my go to whenever I have to leave the pup for a few days!
Very hard to leave our kids (dogs) when we travel. But it's a LOT easier when we have them in good hands at Bark Run Play. Great place to leave the kids (dogs)! Our dogs are safe and happy in dogland aka Bark Run Play.
The facilities are clean, comfy, and secure. Kerry takes care of our 3 dogs like they’re her own and we have peace of mind when they are with her. Highly recommend!
They are extremely professional, take excellent care of Adia(my pup) , and have been incredibly accommodating! I love their facilities and their customer service is top notch! I will recommend them to anyone looking!
When we board our dogs with Nature's Acres we can travel with peace of mind that our pups are taken care of. We have a dog that can't be in the same space with other dogs- they have special kennels that actually provide better socialization than what I can do. The staff take special care to follow prescriptions and feeding instructions. We've used both overnight boarding and daycare when we travel or night our dogs out of the house. If there is ever a problem they call to follow up. We trust them with our babies. These are truly dog people. Big thanks to the staff on behalf of Rose & Dexter
5/5 Stars! Highly recommended!! Quite the gem located in Damascus. We've been taking our lg English lab here for many years and have always had the most excellent experiences! The staff is always friendly, professional, and experienced. Very well-priced, especially for the quality of services received. They offer over night kenneling as well as day care and baths too! This time we took our shy/timid 1st time boarder, our small border collie mix for an overnight stay as well, and we weren't sure how she would do. The staff there went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and at-home. Both of our family companions enjoyed their stay there, and will definitely be returning! Thank you Natures Acres!!
I recently boarded my 2 dogs with Nature's Acres for 10 days. I was very impressed with how friendly and attentive the staff was. I was pleased with the facilities as well. I felt like my dogs were being well taken care of while we were on vacation. Thank you!
I had never used a boarding service before this. I had to, very last minute, find boarding for my young Doberman. Luckily they had a cancellation and were able to fit us in. I was extremely impressed with the facilities and the staff. The staff were all very kind and knowledgeable. They seemed to actually enjoy working there and genuinely love the dogs. The facilities were incredible!! It was a huge area completely fenced in and I loved that the dogs were all free of collars and leashes. They had a very detailed form to get to know the pup and how to handle him, it was fantastic as he has dietary restrictions. I will 100% use them again.
If you are looking for a wonderful place to take your dogs, look no further than Natures Acres. Lexa and AJ are the best hosts you can ask for. They are always friendly, helpful and kind to both you and your furry friends. They go the extra mile to make sure your dogs are happy and comfortable. Natures Acres is a highly recommended destination for any dog lover.
Natures Acres has always been nice and very accommodating. Easy to work with and a great staff. Monty is a high energy cattle dog and they have no problems taking care of him. On our most recent stay our flight was delayed and we couldn't pick Monty up as scheduled. The staff at Natures Acres was nice enough to let us pick him up the next day, on a holiday when they were closed. Thanks for your help!
This place is great. The staff are really amazing with the dogs. Ours dogs are always happy to stay! Highly recommend for their boarding.
Terrific place to take your dog and am beyond appreciative for how the staff takes care of and interacts with our German Shepherd Oakley as he can be a little difficult. The staffs attention to detail and how well they take care of the animals and facility is top notch. Would recommend this kennel to anyone!! Thanks to all at Natures Acres as I sleep well knowing all of you are taking great care of our boy!!
I love natures acres. I have three very energetic Siberian huskies. I take them to daycare they have a great time. The staff is so good with my fur babies.
Friendly folks and the dogs get good play, walks, interaction, and come home happy. Very different from indoor kennel experience. Once we found Natures Acres its the only place we've taken our lab for boarding.
Mary Ellen takes the best care of my dogs, so much that the youngest would happily stay there forever. Great pick up/drop off process. Excellent communication and scheduling is easy, daycare or boarding. So glad to have stumbled across her place years ago!
My husband, myself and our pup just moved to the SE area and we were stressing on finding a doggy daycare. We both work all day and didn’t want our pup to be home alone; he has a lot of anxiety & especially separation anxiety. We found Mary Ellen’s daycare and immediately she sounded like a good fit. We’ve been taking our pup to her for about a month now and it’s been going great! We were really concerned that his anxiety would be an issue and that maybe it’d be a bit much for Mary Ellen, but she quickly dispelled those fears. She’s been working with our pup and helping him adjust to the new routine and has been incredibly kind and patient. We’re so grateful to have found Mary Ellen ☺️☺️☺️
I feel grateful to have found this day care/boarding location for my pup! I’ve brought my pup there for day care and I’ve boarded her for as long as 5 days. My dog always leaves happy and tired from playing with all the other wonderful dogs. I trust that Mary Ellen keeps a watchful eye over all of the dogs while they are under her care. Mary Ellen is excellent at communicating with me and I feel 100% comfortable leaving my puppy there. I would highly recommend!
Mary Ellen is the best. We always leave our dog with her when we're away and have been doing so since 2016. As soon as we pull up outside her house, she starts whimpering to get out and join her friends. Mary Ellen has two dogs of her own, Margaux and Rou, both wonderful golden retrievers who our dog adores. They're kind of like benevolent older siblings to her. I often think our dog has a better time than we do — home away from home!
I took my anxious 1 year old puppy to Wag Along to try to help with her separation anxiety and socialization. Mary Ellen took extra good care of her and within a few weeks Bootsy was more confident and well behaved and she loves going to see Mary Ellen and to play with the other dogs. I appreciate how very easy drop off and pick up is, and that my pup is still clean at the end of the day. Mary Ellen is kind, responsible and the price is right.
We’ve taken our energetic 1.5 year old heeler Sylvie here since the beginning of the year, been a very positive experience. Space-wise it’s essentially a house & yard, rather than the typical warehouse type areas of other doggy daycares. We appreciate the fact that the owner, Mary Ellen, has been doing this a long time and is very hands-on – it’s good to know our pup’s with someone experienced & who really cares about both the animals & how things are run. She’s flexible and the whole process has been super easy. Price is pretty standard. Our dog is fairly high strung and at first she had a lot of anxiety about being left there. But after a little while she got over it, now it’s fun to watch her excitedly run to Mary Ellen & all her doggy friends in the morning. I think the daycare has actually helped out her maturation process. Mary Ellen sends video clips and/or photos during the day showing them playing & lounging around, which is fun for a doting dog parent like me. The pup comes home happy & tired. We just do part-time right now - to socialize Sylvie & keep her company while the humans work, also to create a familiarity in case we ever have to board her there sometime for travel. Highly recommended.
We love having our Sully with Mary Ellen. We never worry about him when he’s there. We use daycare and board with her when we are out of town. He is always excited to see her and she takes such good care of the pups in her care. Recommend her 110%.
Mary Ellen takes such good care of my baby, I never worry at all when she’s there. My dog was super timid before she started going about a year ago and now she’s so happy to go see her friends each time. Mary Ellen watches a nice variety of sizes and breeds, so she’s exposed to all kinds of dogs, which is helpful for the real world. I literally don’t know what I would do without her. We love Wag Along!
Mary Ellen is amazing, I’ve been trusting her with my dog for a while now. I recently used her for boarding, and she went above and beyond when taking care of my dog. I had to drop off my dog right after being injured and Marry Ellen took her with out hesitating. She gave her her meds and cared for her like I would have. She even sent me frequent updates and pictures to help ease my anxiety. I truly don’t think you will find a more caring pet sitter in the Portland area!
Mary Ellen’s Wag Along Pet Care has served as a second home for our dog Jasper over the last few years and we’ve just started bringing our new puppy there as well. We drop them off for daycare a couple of times a week while my husband and I both work, and for extended overnights whenever we go out of town. Mary Ellen is accommodating and flexible (even with our sometimes last minute requests), as well as kind and knowledgeable about dogs. We trust her over anyone to take good care of our fur babies!
Our dog was bitten and injured by another dog while at 3 Dogs' day care in late October 2023. 3 Dogs' actions over the past several weeks show that this is not a responsible, caring, or safe facility. I encourage you to keep our experience in mind when you choose a dog day care. 1. 3 Dogs did not reach out to check on our dog or see how she was doing. They knew that our dog had puncture wounds, needed an same-day urgent care vet visit, sedation for the puncture wounds to be flushed and treated, three prescriptions, follow up visits, constant monitoring, etc. We finally reached out to them after 2 weeks of not hearing from them. 2. When we reached out to them to ask about their procedures when a dog is injured while in their care, they seemed to have no procedures. No incident report was made. There was no surveillance video of the scuffle / bite. The staff member that I talked to on the phone was not aware of the incident until I contacted 3 Dogs. 3. When we asked what happened with the dog that bit our dog, they said that nothing happened - the other dog did not go home early, there was no change to the dog's schedule (until weeks later when we requested it), and we learned later that the other dog's owner was not EVEN INFORMED THAT SHE BIT OUR DOG. 4. 3 Dogs has changed their story over and over. As of our last email with them today, they are now blaming our dog for being bitten. Our dog and the other dog do NOT know each other beyond living in the same neighborhood; they have never had an incident outside of 3 Dogs. However, 3 Dogs keeps repeating this story that the two dogs "have a history" and "know each other" and that was a contributing factor, instead of taking a speck of responsibility for the dog injury happening at their facility when our dog was under their care. After being customers since 2020 or 2021, we will never go back. I encourage you to go elsewhere, too.
My dog was a 5 month old rescue who had never played with any other dogs. She was very shy and timid around other dogs so a friend recommended us to 3 dogs. I owe her a steak dinner because they were able to get my dog comfortable with other dogs and she genuinely loves seeing the staff when she is there. If I could give 10 stars I would. The prices are very affordable and compared to the progress my dog has made i would pay twice that. The staff is always knowledgeable about what your dog did that day or who they played with, which is really helpful for tracking the progress they make. I cant say enough good things about the facility, the staff or anything else that comes from here. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL.
Incredible place! They know dogs here. They gave my high-energy German Shepherd an extremely thorough assessment ("interview") before he began daycare/boarding. They take time to understand each dog and what they need to ensure positive pack interactions. My dog always comes back tired--and even seems better behaved. I can't recommend this place enough!
We LOVE 3 dogs! They take such good care of my dogs. The owner Anne is awesome and is always genuinely excited to see my pup. We used to take our older guy here too until a bad back took him out of daycare. She always asked after him. I love that the dogs don’t sleep in cages and that the premises are huge. It’s just great.
I love this daycare and all of the staff. They absolutely adore my dog and it’s obvious she loves them, too. You know it’s a good sign when your dog doesn’t want to come home 😂 …
Incredible staff and facility. Our dog loves coming here and he is always so tuckered out at the end of the day.
My pup always loves going there! Staff is always so friendly!
3 Dogs Daycare is my first experience with doggie daycare and in the year that I've been taking my very energetic dog there it has proven to been one of the best investments I've made for him. Not only has 3 Dogs provided the needed resource for his unlimited energy so that a) he doesn't destroy my home and b) that he isn't neglected all day while I'm at work, it has proven to be an invaluable resource for my dogs development and socialization with other dogs and humans alike. The staff at 3 Dogs are exceptional and it is my observation that they genuinely love and care about all of the dogs in their care, which is really the most important thing when entrusting somebody to look after your family. I highly recommend 3 Dogs for daycare service and although I have not yet used them for boarding, in the event that I need somebody to take care of my dog for a few days, they will be my go to resource. It's a great place all around.
Well, like others we called several times and no one ever called back. So I decided to take our dog in in to get an appointment. One of the owners was very apologetic about not calling us back. Everything went okay, I thought, our dog was tired seemed happy..... but he always had to go to the bathroom when picking him up? Then it dawned on me that my dog wasn't going to the bathroom while he spent the day there..... do these people pay attention? Then he started to show signs of not wanting to go inside and then finally one day our dog simply wouldn't get out of the car..... this was a big red flag. as our dog loves everyone and only wants to be around people and dogs. We mentioned this to a friend that also took their dog there, whom said they saw a woman screaming at a dog. Not good, that will affect all dogs not just the one. I don't recommend this place. In fact stay away until they hire some competent staff.
I highly recommend. They are patient and welcoming. They care. Our dog is always nice and played out by the time she gets home. She looks forward to going.
I can’t say enough good things about Petlandia!! Wendy and Nate are so patient with my nervous pup, Roo. They are amazing about checking in; both throughout the day while he’s at daycare and weekly just to bring up occasional behavioral/health concerns. They both obviously care so much about each individual pup, and tailor their care for each dog’s needs! The Petlandia set up is so fun, and highly enriching for an adventurous pup. We only use their daycare services, but they also offer boarding/daily walks which I’m sure we will look into for future needs too! Grace and Roo 🩵 Petlandia!
We were so nervous about leaving our puppy, other dog, and two bunnies for a week over the thanksgiving holiday. We had Bailey come house/pet sit for us, and could not have been happier! Not once did we feel uneasy about our babies being well taken care of. Bailey was extremely communicative, sent us updates and pics daily, and made us feel completely at ease about not being there. Highly recommended! Lulu
I have used Wendy’s services for both daycare and overnight care and I cannot say enough great things about her! I have a bit of an anxious pup who doesn’t really like playing with other dogs and has separation anxiety. Wendy has done so much to go out of her way to make my dog feel comfortable and cared for. It's not easy to leave your dog when you know she is anxious but Wendy makes it so much easier with frequent texts and photos and by being so gentle and accommodating!
"Wendy and her team took such great care of our pup, both for walks and for boarding. He was an older gentleman who didn't always want to get going, and Wendy and her team let him set the pace. I highly recommend without any hesitation." That was my review from over a year ago, one dog ago. Now we have Oakley, a much younger and more energetic head strong girl who is so very well cared for by Wendy and Bailey. They have so much patience and insight into dog behavior. They use positive skills to coach our little one even when she doesn't want to be coached. Consummate professionals, they leave the dog and home in excellent condition with clear communication and frequent photos to let us know how our sweet one is doing when we can't be home with her.
Petlandia Pet Care is legit just the best. I’ve been working with them for 8-ish years and they’ve consistently been professional, communicative, and helpful. Additionally, words truly limit me in expressing my appreciation for their flexibility now, and especially during the pandemic, as my work schedule was unpredictable and changed constantly. When I adopted my Abbey girl, she was super beat up and had clearly experienced some trauma. Now my sweet girl is an arthritic senior pup, who continues to enjoy her unconditional love and pets and walks and treats with the folks from Petlandia. Thank you for all that you’ve done and continue to do for our pibbs!
Petlandia is awesome! Wendy is awesome! I did daycare at Petlandia with 2 Shetland Sheepdogs and a Shih tzu. One of my shelties was very shy and scared of new things and people. Wendy worked with Tori and formed a bond with her very quickly. My Shih tzu loved the whole area to explore and play with other pups! She always had the best time. Hunter my older sheltie found his comfy spot and napped. My pups had a week stay with Wendy at Petlandia. I trust and love Wendy like no other dog care person!
I have been a client of Petlandia Pet Care for many years and can’t say enough good things about their dog-walking service. They are reliable, and respectful. The communication is excellent and most importantly, my dogs love them and go bananas when they come over. I feel absolutely safe having them come into my home when I am not there and I rely on them to take good care of my dogs. Highly recommended.
Petlandia Pet Care is the best! I’ve been a dog walker for over a year with Petlandia and they are first class! Wendy is not only a great person to work for but I see the care and dedication she gives to the pets she cares for too. I would trust her 110% with your pet needs. She makes your pet top priority.
I love Petlandia. I very rarely go anywhere without my dog. So whenever I need to leave my dog with a sittter, I can become very nervous. But I’m no longer nervous since I have met Wendy at Petlandia. I trust her more with my dog than any other dogsitter and I’m willing to drive out of my way to have my dog in Wendy’s care. Thanks, Wendy!!! (And Rizzo and Cricket and Grits!)
Wendy and the Petlandia crew are truly gifted in the care they give to animals. I interviewed a number of sitters trying to find the right fit for my little girl dog with severe anxiety, trauma and behavior issues, and my big boy dog with a big outgoing personality to match. Previous sitters had pushed my little anxious girl trying to pet her or treat her when all she wanted was to be left alone and set her own boundaries. I knew Petlandia was the one when I watched how Wendy engaged with my dogs with the same respect that she engaged with me--talking to my big boy and listening to him talk back, and giving lots of non-threatening space to my little girl. She was able to communicate with them without pushing boundaries. She understood how to build trust and focus on each dogs individual needs. Her team is just as caring and focused--not sure if that's how she trains them, or just that she's great at hiring people who can read and understand animals' non-verbal cues, but they have all been the best. It's hard to trust people coming into your home to care for your loved ones, and Wendy and the Petlandia team take that responsibility seriously. I completely trust them in my home with my animals. They form real relationships and make sure they get the best care possible. When my big boy dog had an acute health issue while he was in Wendy's care, without hesitating, Wendy called me immediately and had the presence of mind to take a video of our boy so that we could figure out what happened. The vet said it would have been incredibly difficult to diagnose him without the video and her detailed account of his symptoms. I'll forever be grateful for the care she has given to our pups, and I would recommend Petlandia to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate, informed and intuitive care for your animals.
We bring our dog here every time we go out of town. He is an active cattle/herding breed and they have a large outdoor area where he gets to run around with dogs for a good portion of the day (Boarding + daycare package). They also send us pictures of our dog every couple days, which is a nice little personal touch that we enjoy!
Sherlock loves Green Acres. Sherlock has been cared for by the Green Acres family since 2014. Sherlock spends 4 to 8 weeks per year at the resort and absolutely loves it. Sherlock comes home tired. We know he is well cared for and the staff knows our dog. Thank you Green Acres for excellent care.
Absolutely amazing people. My older dog has become more of a homebody as she ages. During her last stay, she had a really rough time and needed a lot of special care. I couldn’t get an earlier flight home to get her, so they did the best they could to make her feel loved. They kept me updated, kept her close at the reception/office, and tried to find ways to get her to eat and exercise. Our other dog is only 3 and is a doodle with tons of spare energy and very little impulse control when she’s excited. She always gets excited when we pull into the parking lot… she loves the staff and tries to jump over the dog gate to get into the facility when we drop her off. They take her energy in stride and she’s always happy when we pick her up. Best place we have found to keep our dogs. I trust them to do what’s best for the dogs and to keep the hoomans updated throughout the stay.
Our favorite place to take our pup when we go out of town. They communicate well. Sending photos of the dog regularly (daily usually) and he is always tired and played out when we pick him up after a few days stay.
My pets both puppy and elderly dogs love coming here for daycare as well as vacation. Green acres take great care of them!! Love the photo updates we get during their stay!!!
Our dog loves it here! They take such good care of him. He gets so excited when we drive up and realizes where he is! He never even looks back at us to say “Goodbye” Our most recent trip required 7 days of boarding for our dog and we were so thrilled to know he was in good hands. We didn’t worry for even a moment thanks to the wonderful staff at Green Acres.
I was using another daycare for my newly adopted dog and even though they were okay my dog didn't really want to go there. I found Green Acres and my dog loves it!. He gets excited when we pull up and can hardly wait to get out of the car. They have a consistent care program and lots of acreage for the dogs to run around in. They give me updates and send pictures of my dog. They truly love dogs and I'm glad to have found a place I trust and my dog really likes.
BEWARE: Left my french bulldog with Green Acres K-9 Resort from 8/24-9/3. Came back to her having been with dogs 3x or more her size and beat up. She had bites on the back of both her hind legs and couldn’t walk without yelping because her neck and shoulders were injured. $400 emergency vet bill later and the only response from them is “you signed a waiver, but we will put a $250 credit on your account here.” Sorry but waiver or not there should be a responsibility to make sure my dog is safe. She has still not fully recovered from her injuries. Needless to say we will not be back.
My boyfriend and I went on an extended trip and we researched different doggy boarding facilities in Portland. Green acres had the best reviews so we figured we'd give it a try. We took Sanford there a few times before leaving for our trip, and so far he likes it! As a rescue he's shy around new people, but loves other dogs. The staff members are always friendly and very patient with him. We'll be picking him up tomorrow, I'm sure he loves it there being able to run around on 5 acres of land! Every time we've picked him up before this, he's been a tired happy pup!
My dog loves coming here! It’s my go to when we are leaving town on a trip. I have a German Shepherd who is high drive and energy and they are able to handle her. They keep an eye on her and if she is getting too rambunctious they will separate her from the other dogs or find a group that she can get along with. I’m so thankful that she has a safe environment to socialize with other dogs and run off her energy. They send pictures and updates too!
