I am so glad I found Fur-Sure! Pet Sitting to care for our two kitties. Brenda provided reliable care to our pets while we were away on a couple trips this summer. She took the time to meet our kitties in advance of the first trip which was helpful so she could get to know their home environment and habits. Our kitties are indoor/outdoor, so in the past my biggest worry when going away was that they might escape out the door…one of them has proven in the past to be a master escape artist. Brenda took extra care when entering and leaving. In addition to feeding them and cleaning the litter boxes, Brenda spent time with the kitties each day petting and brushing them. She also accommodated the daily habit of one of our kitties who likes to drink directly from a faucet. She also helped with keeping our dehumidifier emptied, taking in mail and packages, and taking apart and cleaning the kitties’ water fountain. Daily text updates and pictures were provided which were greatly appreciated. It’s interesting to see how your pets behave when you are not home. My two kitties have their own self-designated territories in the house, but when we were gone, they switched. On a recent trip, one of our cats suffered a tail injury several days prior to our departure. It was still in the healing process when we departed so Brenda kept a close eye on this for us and provided a daily assessment of how it looked and how he was responding. She made us aware right away about a reversal in the course of healing that required medical attention, so we were able to come home and attend to him. I highly recommend Brenda at Fur-Sure! Fur Sure! Is a “diamond in the ruff”! Brenda and her husband are kind and loving people who truly enjoy the company of pets. Brenda treats our German Shepherd as her own, with attention and tender loving care that goes way beyond any typical boarding or pet sitting. It is obvious in the pictures and “daily update” she sends us that our Brady is quite happy at his “home away from home”! Brenda provides ample room inside (cleaned and disinfected) and outside (protected fenced area) for pet comfort and play time She provides daily walks and play, administers any required medications, and most of all, gives genuine affection to our dog. Finding FUR SURE ( Brenda ) was like hitting the lottery for me and my little guy. I had been searching for someone to watch my dog for the Christmas holiday . But to no avail on ROVER or many other sites. I was at my wits end. Suddenly Brenda’s website popped up. What a find. I emailed her right away. She got to me shortly after . We talked about the situation and decided to do a meet and greet. It was absolutely the perfect , beautiful , clean place for my guy . It is like a haven for any dog. Big or small. There are great fenced in areas and trails for walking. Brenda loves to walk. Depending on the elements of course. The love and care she gives is amazing . She goes way out of her way to make sure your dog is safe and secure and comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone . She is definitely my new best dog sitter.

Brenda at Fur Sure Petsitting was beyond amazing! Especially with the amount of visits I requested. My husband and I both work from home so leaving my older pup and older kitty for 10 days worried me very much. I wanted 4 daily visits and Brenda went above and beyond making sure my fur babies were well cared for. She even helped to take care of a wound on my pups cheek. I could tell my animals were not stressed or anxious as we have a puppy cam and i would check in on them frequently. Having peace of mind to attend my sons wedding and a vacation after was priceless. I didn't worry once and if you knew me, it's extremely rare to not worry. My husband and I highly recommend Brenda to anyone looking for quality pet sitting. Brenda is super friendly and put up with me checking in. We will most definitely use her services again and again!

Brenda’s Fur Sure Pet Sitting services come highly recommended! I found out about this through a Google search and Brenda got back to me shortly after reaching out. She came by the house to meet me and our cat, Mushu, and she gravitated towards Brenda right away! We needed a pet sitter to come feed and play with Mushu, and since we were traveling internationally we wanted to make sure Mush would have exactly the type of care and attention needed. Brenda was great about checking in regularly, letting me know when she was headed to our house, and she sent plenty of photos throughout the week which was very reassuring! We had plenty of peace of mind while away, and came home to a happy and playful Mush. We will definitely be calling on Brenda’s Fur Sure Pet Sitting services in the future!

Fur Sure Pet Sitting Service is a home away from home for our golden retriever. He gets personalized care in a safe and warm environment. He looks forward to his stay and we feel comforted knowing he is safe and happy while we are away.

We left our dogs with Brenda for 10 days, this was our first time ever leaving them with anybody other than family so I was nervous, but they were in great hands with Brenda. We got lots of pictures and an update everyday which definitely eased my worries. They seemed to have a great time playing with her dog Salty all day and came home tired and happy. Will definitely be booking with her again!

We met with Brenda twice before having her watch our two 5 year old pups for 10 days! She is very thorough, very accommodating, and takes the time to get to know you and your pups before watching/ sitting them. Gave us updates and treated them like her own! Would recommend her to anybody!

The Pink Poodle is hands down the best daycare for your fur babies. She (Wendy) has been in the business caring for all dogs little and big for many years. I can't even list the above and beyond, daily extra steps she takes to make every dog feel at home. From attention to home cooked meals she sends home to the birthday parties or holidays parties she hosts for the furries! Simply amazing!

Most disgusting place I have ever seen in my life! Not fit for animals or people! Lady’s a massive drunk and tried stealing my 2 dogs! When a person like that says she’s keeping your animals maybe time to lay off the booze with your employees. Shouldn’t be a business owner or a dog owner and really shouldn’t get involved with anything that’s living. RUN FAST didn’t even think 1 star was correct when it should be minus them all.

I don't know what we would do without Wendy and the Pink Poodle. She is amazing with our pups and they LOVE her. Whenever I put their harnesses on and say "Auntie Wen" they can't even contain themselves! One of our pups is VERY anxious and nervous around people but Wendy just has a way with him. We would never take our boys anywhere else!

The owner is a sweetheart and truly loves the dogs she looks after! Very clean and the dogs look like they're having so much fun!

My family and I have 3 dogs from Richard’s ages 7 (Shihpoo), 10 (Cockapoo), and 14 (Lhasapoo). They are the best dogs and very healthy. Pictured is my shihpoo Jovie - she is an ESA and the sweetest girl!

Our first pup was a miniature poodle over 24 years ago. Great disposition, smart and was a friend for 19 years . Eight months ago we returned to Richard's and brought home a female Shihpoo. As empty-nesters we needed her as much as she needed us. Such a wonderful addition...another terrific friend from Richards .

I love this place. My dog is treated very well and is cared for by the staff. He always has fun. I had to change my pickup time due to personal reasons and they were very flexible. The prices are also great. I got my dog groomed and he looked awesome when we picked him up.

That is our pup Toby with the blue bandana that we got from Richards almost 15 years ago, he was the sweetest most beautiful puppy ever, we just purchased another one and cannot wait to get him. I highly recommend this breed. Toby was patient, sweet, playful, loving, smart and loved everyone. Not once did this dog ever bite or nip anyone, truly an amazing pup. We have referred many people to Richards. We wouldn’t buy a pup anywhere else !!!!

I have been taking my dog to Cindy and Vanessa since I moved to the area about three years ago. Having been to several other groomers over his 11.5 years, I had found that he often came home from an appointment sore and uncomfortable - he was aging and already had an injury from when he was a puppy. Knowing how resistant he can be to grooming, it seemed like some discomfort couldn't be helped. Whenever I took him home from the Groom Room, he never showed signs of stiffness or pain. It's obvious that they took great care with him (and that I should have been expecting better from others). They would also occasionally take note of any new lumps or bumps that they found on him, or on days when he seemed especially stiff as he got older. He had quite a long, thick coat, and I was never disappointed in how his haircuts came out. He always looked so dapper when I picked him up, and we always got lots of compliments! I had to put him down a few weeks ago - just a couple of days before his next appointment. I called to cancel, and let them know what had happened. Before the end of the week, I had received a very sweet card in the mail from them. I can't express how much I appreciated that, and them over these past few years. They do a wonderful job for very reasonable prices, and I have no doubt that they truly cared about Franklin. I've been recommending the Groom Room to everyone I know, and I'll continue to do so.

Cindy took the time to get to know my dog. It was his first time, very scared. He’s a rescue from abuse, neglect. She had patience with him. Plus she’s cut my cats nails. Who doesn’t like people. Also guini pigs nails on past too. I highly recommend Cindy.

Absolutely Outstanding! I came with my 2 mini schnauzers, who are both puppies!!! They have been on a grooming table 3 times prior. Not a lot of experience. Cindy took her time & gave both pups a phenomenal cuts. They returned calm & happy. We have already booked our next appointment! I've tried many groomers & this is finally home for us. So Thankful!!!!

I brought my chihuahua in yesterday for a nail trim. He’s a good boy but the chihuahua in him comes out when it comes to nail trims. The pet stores can’t deal with him. And now our vet can barely deal with him anymore. Ever since covid, my boyfriend and I aren’t allowed in at the vet. We feel like that’s the reason our dog’s anxiety has gotten worse. His fear of nail trims have gotten higher. We were at or wits end. After doing research, we found the groom room online. Their website says that they specialize in any size temperamental pets that are anxious when getting groomed. Hopeful, we decided to give this place a try. And thankfully, we did. The workers there were very patient and understanding of him during the appointment. They even let me help and be there with him. They did their best to try and calm him down. They didn’t give up and finished the nail trim on all his paws. And honestly, it’s the best looking nail trim he ever had! All the nails were short, even and expertly cut. At the end of the appointment, the groomer welcomed us back and happily said she hopes our dog gets used to her soon so that he’s less anxious next time. To my boyfriend and I, that means a lot! Everyone is usually afraid of him after his nail trims. She wasn’t afraid of his outbursts and was very friendly and understanding. We can tell she’s experienced and cares about pets. Also, I couldn’t believed how little I was charged for his nail trim! The vet charges us way way more especially because of how difficult he can be. We are beyond grateful and will bring our dog back. We’re hoping that with this groomer, he won’t be so afraid of nail trims anymore.

The owner Cindy is very nice and kind to her clients and our pets. We got a puppy recently and I'm very satisfied with the job she does!! Someone posted that she was out of business and I've decided to post this review to tell everyone that she's still there doing a great job and I'm here to support her business!!

We made an appointment with the groom room after the being unhappy with our previous groomer. Our dog is a very fluffy husky malamute mix. She gets matted very easily and the last groomer could never get all of the matts out. Due to a knee surgery that limited her brush outs, Our dog was pretty bad by the time we got her over to the groom room. When my wife picked her up at the end of the day her draw dropped. We literally have never had her looking so amazing and 100% matt free. When the time came to pay, the groom room undercharged us for what we thought was fair for all the work that they did (we gave a bigger tip). In short, they do an amazing job and are very reasonably priced if not underpriced.

Cindy who is the groomer is excellent! She cares about animals and the people she provides services for. I only go to her and I'm always happy when leaving after my dogs have been groomed.

Was going to another dog shop and the groomer wasn't in, so I decided to go to the groom room. First thing I noticed was the smell. It was wonderful, I've never been to a groomer that didn't smell like urine. Clean and staff were awesome with my dog, guess I'm changing groomers!!!

Toby and Bradley basically try knocking down the door to get into Lakefront Dog Retreat on the days they go! This is the best retreat my pup has been coming here since he was 6 months old, he 5 now, everyone is friendly, professional, they all get to your dog and personality, loves your dog like their own, always honest and trustworthy, and they throw great birthday pawrties! For your pup, everyone celebrates! So fun , there's a great play yard outside and in the summertime if your dog swims they will take your dog over across the street to the lake to go swimming that's an exciting day for your dog! 10 stars for lakefront dog retreat!

It's such a beautiful facility and my dog loves going there! They really take care of you pet and their needs. The staff is knowledgeable and take the time to pamper and love on your dog. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice, clean, responsible place to leave your dog for a day or for a week! They also offer grooming and training with well qualified staff. You can tell that everyone there cares for your pet and are very engaged and attentive! My dog has so much fun when she goes there that she doesn't want to leave!

I signed my puppy up for doggy daycare here just a couple of months ago. It seemed expensive at the time, but she is a lab puppy (6 months old and quite destructive). I couldn't crate her for more than a couple of hours so I had no other choice but to find somewhere for her to play when I was at work. Now, I would never go anywhere else. Slightly more expensive than some of the other options, but worth every penny. I dragged Dakota in the first day... And she has bounded through the door every day since. The owner is caring, responsive, and always greets you with a smile. She and her staff love dogs and it shows in everything they do. There's a birthday party for someone almost every week 😂. I highly recommend lakeside dog retreat.

This place is very good if you're looking for a commercial daycare or kennel experience and the owners are nice people who seem to enjoy working with dogs. When I brought my dogs, I personally was not impressed by the facility itself. It felt cold both physically and emotionally, although the owner Lena was extremely kind. I agree with the other reviewer who said that they do seem to have a large quantity of dogs, but I can not speak for the level of care as we were advised that due to being first time boarders, a commercial boarding facility may not be the best fit for me as an owner, or my dogs. Lena went out of her way to provide me with numbers and contacts for other facilities, which was nice and something she certainly did not have to do. The dogs that were leaving seemed to be in good spirits and exhausted, which was nice to see. The prices are very reasonable.

This place is amazing. Took my two dogs for a couple weeks while we were moving and they came home exhausted and happy! Professional and attentive staff, accommodating to schedule changes. They have a beautiful clean facility with an easy booking process, and post pictures frequently on Facebook. Will be returning again and again!

DaMay is unparalleled for dog care. Every time I've handed over my boy's leashes, they've been returned happy, well-exercised, and looking like they walked off the pages of an L.L. Bean catalog. They're so loved there, sometimes I doubt they miss my absence! DaMay goes above and beyond to make them comfortable, and that peace of mind is why we keep going back!

Wonderful staff, kind and great with my dog. My dog loves it here he goes a few times a week. He comes home tired and happy. You can tell they love animals, separated by who gets a long with who instead of size which has been an issue for us at other daycares.

We love this place! My golden retriever Ruby is always ecstatic when we pull up into their drive way for boarding. The owner is thoughtful and cares so much about the dogs. They have plenty of space in their rooms to hang out in. I know she gets plenty of exercise and social time while she is there because she is so tired the next day. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

We love Plesant Kennels! On our 4th year of boarding our dog here and have had nothing short of a great experience. I love the flexibility with pickup and drop off and our dog is always well cared for. Definitely would recommend them!

Our 6 mo old lab puppy spent a few nights boarding at Pleasant Kennels. It was her first time away from us, so I was a little nervous about leaving her. Taryn was awesome & sent me texts & pics to let me know my puppy was doing well. She played with other dogs & went on a hike, both of which she loves. She was a tired & happy pup when we picked her up. We will definitely board her here again when needed. Highly recommend.

Left my dogs here for a quick weekend getaway. Picked them up and they were happy as larks! Great clean facility, incredibly nice and personable owner. My two medium sized dogs shared a large indoor/outdoor kennel with large bed. They got exercise time in the fenced in backyard and got to play with other boarders. I’ll definitely be back! Accepted payment was either cash or check at my time of booking. Not an issue at all :)

Our dog Stella loves this kennel! The facility is nice and always very clean. The dogs are given plenty of room to run and play. Taryn makes sure your dog is comfortable and not missing home too much. She went above and beyond by giving out Christmas stockings with goodies for the dogs over Christmas break. Definitely our favorite kennel by far! Thank you Taryn!

I love this kennel and so does my dog Lilly. She is so incredibly excited every time we pull in to the lot. She loves running around and making new friends!! She rests very well after a day here. Taryn is so friendly and caring. I have no worries leaving Lilly with her!!

Had a family emergency out of state a few months back and Taryn was able to board my two goldens for a couple of days on very little notice. They are doing alot of great work there and expanding as well. When you board yout dogs they have nice add ons to make thier stay a little more....pleasant. Like trail walks, and games. As I understand there will also be grooming here in the future too.

Taryn does a truly amazing job with the dogs and is so thoughtful and caring with each one. We have boarded our dog a couple of times with Taryn and our dog absolutely loves going to Pleasant Kennels. We highly recommend Taryn and Pleasant Kennels.

Incredibly friendly and helpful, they talked to me extensively about other kennels in the area that they know and would recommend, given they weren't able to take my dog for me on the short notice i needed. It was wonderful to be able to speak with someone from the industry and to have them give advice as a pet owner.

We love Preppy Pets. The new owners are fantastic and had already been there working in the business before the transition. They have always been very responsive and always called or emailed if there was a concern or problem. They have always taken great care of our dog, in both daycare and boarding.

There are amazing with my dog. She loves going back and is always excited when we pull into the parking lot.

I bring both of my dogs here, and they love it. They've got a larger boarding area, so both can stay together. I've brought my older dog somewhere else. She got nervous, and started missing me. When I got her, I could tell she had lost weight. Here she seems to be happy, and hasn't really acted to odd about going here. She actually seems kinda glad to go here and not somewhere else. This is the only place where I've brought the younger one. He's only been twice, but was pulling me to get in the boarding area sooner. I'd definitely recommend.

They carry some really good quality dog food and treats here. We've also boarded one of our dogs with them, and they are SO loving towards dogs there. I always felt like our lab probably didn't want to come home from her times spent there.

Needs to update website that they are NOT taking new pets. Such a shame cant help but wonder if my pup was denied because he suffers from epilepsy and is on medication. He really is such a great puppy. Staff was unhelpful in letting me know if there was even a waitlist… truly disappointing

Great little shop. I have been in here twice, but never did daycare or boarding with them. Their prices are very fair. I usually come to buy chews and treats for my puppy. They sometimes have vendors and samples in for you to talk to and try their products.

They took care of our special needs cat while we were out of the country for almost two weeks. She bounced back right away after wr took her home which we know is because of the love and care she got at preppy pet. The staff is great, patient and clearly love their jobs. And to top everything off, the prices are unbeatable. I would give 6 stars if I could. This will definitely be our go to place in the future.

I was very pleased when I brought my stubborn French Bulldog to get his nails cut. My frenchie absolutely hates nail trimmings, and the staff did an amazing job and was able to cut all his nails (clean cuts by the way)! I will definitely be coming back here!

I have been being my very special fur baby to Camp Happy Hound for quite a few years. It’s his home away from home! I always know he is well loved, cared for and exercised. Most of all, he’s become part of their entire family. I wouldn’t think of bringing him anywhere else and I’m so grateful for Leigh Anne and her entire loving family! Where do I even start? I’m not sure I’d trust anyone else with my dog the way I do Leigh Ann at Camp Happy Hound. She treats each dog as if they were her own, and is so in tune with each dogs needs to make it a fun place for all of them. My puppy - Kai - comes home after a hike or a day of doggy daycare, and he is happily exhausted. Leigh Ann works with your schedule, and provides regular updates on how the dogs are doing through the day - I especially love getting videos of Kai loving life on a hike with his friends. I just have to say “want to go to Leigh Ann’s?” and he’s at the door waiting. I’d recommend Camp Happy Hound to anyone!

Mary took away all of our anxiety about leaving our three month old puppy alone. In December we got the first puppy of our lifetimes and, being retired, we stayed at home for three months doting on her. When friends came to meet Beazie, we observed that she was timid and it took her a while to become comfortable with each new person. We dreaded the inevitable time when we would both have to be away from the house and leave her in the care of someone else. Mary volunteered to come for a meet and greet prior to our first pet sitting appointment. She requested that we run through Beazie’s entire potty routine from beginning to end to accustom Beazie to her presence. Mary instinctively knew how to approach Beazie in a way that helped her become more at ease. She brought treats and a special toy which continues to be her favorite as she approaches her first birthday. After only a few minutes, Beazie was settled in her lap without fear and Mary’s love of animals was clearly on display. Her practical knowledge of animals and their behavior has been incredibly valuable as we have never raised a dog. Mary is friendly, trustworthy, flexible and dependable. We never worry a minute when we are away from the house. We don’t know what we would do without Mary. Neither does Beazie!

I can't say enough good things about Mary Littlefield who takes care of our very timid cat when we travel, which we do often. Miss Violet usually streaks upstairs when she hears a car pull into the driveway, and there she keeps watch from the top step, expecting pillage and mayhem and the demise of us all .... unless it's Mary. Then she comes downstairs quickly and purrs loudly while directing long, meaningful glances toward her sitter. She's utterly shameless in her admiration for Mary. We try to ignore Miss Violet's outlandish behaviour, but sometimes wonder if we should spend more time at home -- put a little damper on this foolish infatuation. There was a crisis three years ago when Miss Violet swallowed a long string, and we weren't due back for another week. Mary handled the situation beautifully and kept us abreast of what was going on before and after the procedure to remove it. (Thanks, Mary!) Mary has apologized for endearing herself so to Miss Vi, and we forgive her wholeheartedly. She's become indispensable to our gadabout family. I can't recommend Mary Littlefield highly enough to anyone who travels and needs to leave a shy kitty at home.

Mary has provided top quality and loving care for both my dog and cat. Her many years of experience she has in the pet care industry comes through in the care she gives. She’s always stepped in to help with any last minute situation I’ve found myself in who’s is invaluable!

I can’t say enough about this place, one review isn’t enough.. It’s not everyone who can tend to 110lbs, 18mo old St Berdoodle and the pictures speak louder than words. Every detail was attended to, perfectly groomed, and not to mention our pup smelled great!! The ladies at GoldenPaw put extra TLC into everything they do. They worked with my nervous puppy, and he looks better than ever. THANK YOU. I will continue recommending your services for daycare, walks, and now grooming too! We've been using Golden Paw for weekly dog walking for a while now and we're very happy with them. Our dog is so excited every time they arrive to pick him up - his whole body wags with his tail! Any time I've needed to reach out to reschedule, cancel, or just ask questions, Golden Paw staff are extremely responsive and caring. One week, our dog wasn't feeling well and I let them know he may be slow or reluctant to walk. They replied to me that day to report back on his walk and ALSO replied to me (unprompted) the next time they walked him to report that he seemed to be doing better. They really go above and beyond and it shows how much they care about the dogs they work with. I can't recommend Golden Paw enough!

I needed my kitten picked up on short notice. The kitten was in Boston and I’m in Marlborough injured and unable to drive so I couldn’t pick up the cat. Golden Paw was able to get the kitten for me and I’m very happy with how they handled things. Everything was delivered right to my door in perfect shape and very quickly. Fernanda was very helpful and personable. I couldn’t thank her enough. I will be using this company for service again. If I could give another star I would.

My puppy Oliver loves Golden Paw! The staff are very friendly, my puppy comes home safe, happy and exhausted! He gets so excited to hop in the car in the mornings which says a lot for my scared little guy. We love Golden Paw and will continue using them every week!

Best experience! We have been sending our Lab to golden paw since he was a 4 month old puppy. He is now 6months and golden paw has taken such great care of him. We use the awesome pet taxi service to pick him up and drop off while we are at work. Everyone is so friendly and really love all the pups. We LOVE the posts on FB showing how much fun they are having at daycare. We could not be happier with our experience at Golden Paw😁

Hands down the best hidden gem of a doggy daycare, overnight boarding, and dog walking service in Central Massachusetts. I work in Marlborough and live in Westminster. It’s peace of mind to bring my dog who is an 11 month old Dutch shepherd to Golden paws where he gets so much exercise!! All of the staff members are very knowledgeable and friendly when it comes to all breeds. I have referred two friends to Golden paws who also are very happy. I highly recommend Golden Paws! The best part is that they had a free trial to make sure it was a good fit before even spending any money….so why not give it a go? Sherman, my dog would love more friends!!

Millie has been with Golden Paws since 2021. I can not say enough goods this about Fernanda and Pam. They are by far the best at what they do. Millie goes to daycare and absolutely loves it, comes home and goes to bed. They dog sit when I am away and take such great care of her. By far the best !

I left my dog Bobby at Golden Paws for 3 weeks while I travelled overseas and I was extremely happy with the service they provided with a personal touch . Fernanda took the trouble of taking Bobbyto the vet when he had an issue with his eye and provided me with regular updates on how he was doing . I came home with a freshly bathed and groomed dog . I decided to take my dog for a full grooming at this location because of the excellent reviews here and it was the best decision I made. Fernanda was so nice and so accommodating. Everything is very manageable on their website. The groomer (I forgot her name now 😢) was a doll. Not only my dog looked so cute but she was very patient since it was his first time there and he is very anxious. Definitely returning and I already looked into boarding with them 😄

Zoe is in love with this place, I leave her there whenever I work and travel. Zoe has been at Golden Paw for over a year now, super well cared for and the caregivers are great! I highly recommend.
