After seeing the numerous positive reviews, I knew Cung would be an easygoing and professional cat sitter and house guest, and he was :-) Easy communication, prompt updates and clear concern for Boz & Artie's wellbeing, and pictures of cozying up on the couch together all made our time away secure and stress free. Upon returning home, the cats were chill and the apt was left spotless, as though he hadn't even been there.

We literally cannot say enough positive things about Susan and Miranda! They are the best! From start to finish, they did an amazing job communicating with us, giving our 3 (somewhat needy) cats extremely high quality care and tons of attention, and keeping our house clean and plants watered. They took adorable pictures of the cats and sent them to us several times a day, played with them and gave them so much love and affection, and when we got home the house was even cleaner than when we left. We even asked them for some tips on how they were caring for the cats because our cats seemed happier and more relaxed than ever when we returned home to them! This was by far our best cat/house sitter experience to date. We hope Susan and Miranda are available again in the future to sit for us and would invite them back without hesitation.

Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.

Ruoyi was the perfect sitter for our cat Toni! We would highly recommend her to any pet owner, and hope she can sit for us again in the future. Ruoyi was very thorough - she made sure there was full alignment on all the specifics of her pet duties, and she asked thoughtful questions regarding details we forgot to include in our guide. She always provided us timely updates at the agreed cadence, and gave us a ton of photos. From the photos, it's clear she got in a lot of play time with Toni, which we really appreciated! :) We were able to enjoy our entire vacation stress-free knowing Toni was in such good hands. Ruoyi left our apartment completely clean and offered to wash linens.

Toby and Chloe were one of the best house sitters we have ever had! As a small animal vet I have seen many types of pet sitters and these guys are top notch. Our pets are not easy either. We have special needs dogs, cats on medication, dogs with behavioral issues, horses, chickens, goats and a large (100 lb) Sulcata tortoise who needed close monitoring of the temperature in his barn. Everyone was thriving and happy when we came home. They read through the packet and asked thorough, thoughtful questions. They went above and beyond grooming, mucking and grazing the horses and goats everyday. They chopped greens and fruit daily for our tortoise. If we had known how amazing they were we would have booked a 3 week trip instead! Can't recommend them enough.

We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Kathryn! I needed to extend dates for the sit after we had set it up and she was able to accommodate this so was actually here from 10/4-20. She was timely and communicative throughout - and she is a very nice person. She kept the house really tidy and followed all instructions well. My cats took to her quickly. When I returned, they had been very well cared for and seemed fully content even though I'd never left them for long before. While away, I reached out to Kathryn by text several times regarding deliveries, etc. She was very prompt in responding and adept at handling issues as they arose. I highly recommend Kathryn as a house sitter - and would happily work with her again!

Elyse was one of the best pet sitters we've ever met! Couldn't recommend her more. We hope she stays at our place again. She sent many pictures of our beloved cats throughout our absence. Caroline is an amazing sitter ! We were far away, had never left our cat for such a long period of time and we felt really confident with her. She took great care of our cat Honey as well as she did for the house, pool and garden. She was even able to handle the end of the refection of the bathroom which was a last minute surprise… We felt Caroline was reliable and self sufficient. We had a great communication with her during our stay abroad. We even found many nice intentions when we came back from our vacations such as fresh fruits and bakeries for a nice and welcomed breakfast after a night in a plane ! We definitely recommend Caroline for your sittings and we will obviously call her back !

We love Glen Rock Kennels! It is very clean and my dog doesn't come home smelling horrible/ wet dog. They genuinely love my dog and I know he is being well taken care of and loved while I am gone. Greta is always super responsive as well.
This is by far the greatest kennel around. Extremely clean facility, dogs are let out very often, picture updates, and owner is top notch animal lover. I looked at 8 kennels before finally finding hers! It was an absolute no brainer as soon as I met her, and toured the facility!! I couldn’t possible recommend her enough. This is by far the only place I felt confident taking my pups. Pics for fun 🤩
This was the only place that would board our special needs GSD. We had two dogs there at the same time and they got wonderful care. We got daily updates with photos. When I picked them up, they were in great spirits. This is one of the cleanest kennels that I have ever seen. Highly recommended.
Greta is always so attentive to the dogs and takes the time to get to know each of them. She’s extremely hard working and cares more than any kennel owner! My dog is always happy to be there and loves to come back!
Glenrock Kennels and Greta (aka the owner) have been a life saver for us! I don’t have anxiety one bit when we leave our dog, Gauge with her. Greta is so caring and attentive with all her animals. Gauge loves to go there. I’m so happy we found her and she is so reliable!!
My girl Koda has stayed with Greta on a few occassions. Koda always comes home clean, cared for and happy which is all I could ask for. Greta is awesome about sending pics and updates so you are assured your baby is doing great while you are away. The facility is always clean, and the time and love that went into building the space is apparent when you look around. The property and space for the visiting dogs is perfect and safe. Not only will your fur baby's obvious needs be taken care of, but they will surely receive their needed doses of play, attention, kisses, head pats, ear scratches and belly rubs during their stay too. My boys loved Greta. I have sent a lot of clients to her and finally tried her out for myself. She was as fabulous with my Dobermans.
Took my dogs for a day and absolutely loved the facility. The owner is awesome and very knowledgeable. The kennel is clean, well organized and secure. I am so glad I found them. My dogs had a great day! I highly recommend this kennel.

Just picked up my 1 year old Chocolate lab after a wonderful stay at Mae Berries. The ladies there are wonderful, the kennels are super cleaned with a nice bed with bedding and a throw rug. I am beyond happy I found MaeBerries. They have a customer for life. If you live in the area please look into Mae Berries you will not be disappointed. I would give them 10 plus stars. They even took adorable pictures for Thanksgiving 🧡
I had such a great experience with Maeberries that I'd recommend to anyone to book here. The information exchange prior to staying was excellent and I hope that the level of connectivity always stays the same going forward. A down-home feel instead of the stuffy chain brand kennels, and thats a HUGE bonus... I felt like family. My big guy is a bumbling dummy and managed to get himself hurt with a scratch and the staff was thoughtful, considerate and timely with their actions - I picked up my guy and knew he'd had care at the same level as he would have at home. (This was NO fault of the facility, just my guy being a big, bumbling idiot,) 10 stars! Highly recommend!

What could possibly go wrong with a catch phrase like "Come to where the comfort is."? I heard about this kennel by seeing a flyer at my vet's office. I assumed this meant that my vet's office in some way approved or even knew about this kennel at all. I was wrong. Brought my pup to the address listed and found a house that didn't at all resemble the pictures shown on the website. That should have been my first clue. I was still hopeful that my pup would have a different boarding experience since she wouldn't be in an actual kennel (except for feeding times according to the proprietors of the kennel, to prevent food aggression between the dogs). I really trusted these people with my pup. They even require that you submit a Doggy Biography so that they know the Do's and Don'ts of temporarily living with your dog. I don't think they even read it. When I picked my dog up she was shaking head-to-toe, I thought she was just really happy to see me, I got her to the car and she yelped jumping in. I thought maybe she was just tired/strained from all the romping that she should have been doing. Got her home she yelped more when I tried petting her in a normal/not-rough manner. I started looking closer and found a large cut (the size of one of my finger nails) on her chest, looked more and found fleas! I brought her to the vet the next day and $100+ later in vet bills found out shes got strained muscles, a large open wound on her chest requiring antibiotics and fleas (even though she is regularly treated with Advantix). I'm writing this review in the hopes that no one else has to go through this experience! I should have taken the hint that you can't find anything else on the internet about this place except their website links, no reviews anywhere else! I will however be writing good reviews for the few other kennels I've tried in the area and will be using those ones again.

We have three crazy quirky reactive pups that need separate kennels and Faraway had the perfect setup to accommodate them. Our pups were happy and healthy when we picked them up. It was obvious that their mental stimulation and physical needs were met and taken care of. They also made sure that our anxious pups were as comfortable! We would recommend them to anyone in the area!
Lisa and her crew are amazing! They are so good with our girls. It is so nice to be able to go away and know your pups are being cared for so well!
I just picked my dogs up from Lisa this evening and they didn't even care that I was there, it's like they didn't want to leave! Lisa and her staff take excellent care of pets being boarded and I know my pets enjoyed their stay. She has owned the kennel for around 25 years and I know she has so much knowledge and experience under her belt that I feel very comfortable leaving my pets at Faraway Kennels when I am away from home. This a wonderful place to take your pet to for boarding! They take great care of your animal. No extra charges for the little things, like medications. They work with dogs that have behavior issues, which made it great for me due to have a dog who has some behavior issues. I would highly recommend bringing your dog for a stay here. I will be bringing my boy back again for sure!
I boarded my 3 dogs here for 4 days and all my dogs came back completely healthy and happy to see me. I'm very happy with how helpful and nice the owners were and very much happy with the price. 2 of my dogs are typically very skittish and sometimes aggressive yet they had a great time and enjoyed all the attention. I definitely plan to use this place again for whenever I plan a trip again.

Over the years, our dogs have been lovingly cared for at Far Away Kennel. Lisa, the owner, is always kind. Whenever we go away, we know she will take good care of Zoey for us. We wouldn't take Zoey anywhere else.
