There are not enough words in the English language to express my deepest gratitude to Teresa and all the amazing love and care she showed my sweet cat Milo. From the moment she met Milo, I knew there was going to be a very special bond. He instantly relaxed when he first met and already looked so happy and at peace with her. The bond between the two of them only seemed to get stronger and stronger with every day that I was away. This two-week trip was so important for me as it was the first real "vacation" I had taken in a few years. I was in desperate need of a mental and physical break and knew that in order to have a true "time off', I needed to feel completely at peace with Milo being well-taken care of. Well my prayers were answered as Teresa was the "cat whisperer" I was hoping for. I could not have asked for a better, more compassionate, self-reliant, and intuitive sitter ! Teresa was also so diligent in sending me her daily picture and video updates of my cat. With every picture and video I saw, I knew that Milo was so happy being with her and I never worried for one minute while I was away. What a gift ! Teresa was also a serious life-saver for me as literally an hour before I was leaving for my trip, I found out my cat's tracker app was not working and after a few emails and phone calls, we found out the tracker's server was down. Teresa took the initiative to follow up with getting the tracker to work again which was a HUGE stress-relief for me . She is not only wonderfully savvy with animals but also with technology as well ! I feel so fortunate to have Teresa in my life now, not only as an amazing sitter for Milo but also as a wonderful friend for life! Thank you, Teresa for everything.... Jenny was an absolute delight, lovely to speak to and patient with last minute changes. I have had bad experiences with trusting people with my cats before so was really anxious as Jenny is the first house sitter I have used from zeewoi. But, I felt at ease as soon as I spoke to her, she has a lovely manner and she came round the day before the sit to male sure she had every detail right. But I think the thing that helped the most was her regular updates about my cats. I could see from the videos she sent they were given lots of love and attention. My cats don't usually play with people but my little girl seemed to love her! My flat was immaculate when I got back as well, I am so grateful to Jenny for all her help and really hope to have her sit for me again!

I highly recommend Daniel as a pet sitter and house sitter! He took care of Pipa for over three months this winter and did an outstanding job. From the first day, it was clear that he had a genuine love for animals and a great deal of experience with pets. In addition to his pet-sitting duties, Daniel also went above and beyond by processing my postal mail and keeping the house well-organized. Florence is everything you want in a cat sitter! We have two cats that need a lot of human attention. One takes multiple medications twice a day and they both are used to eating on their own schedule and having people around so it is always very important to us to find a pet sitter that will be spending a lot of time in the apartment and that doesn't mind being very attentive. We were able to meet Florence before our trip and felt 100% confident that she would take great care of our cats. Florence is comfortable giving medication, she sent us photos and updates and left our apartment spotless. We were so happy that we had her come back the following week when we went away again for a short trip! We will definitely contact Florence again whenever we travel and hope that she is available!

Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!

If Macie and Roman ever apply to your post for a house or pet sit, I strongly encourage you to jump at the. offer. You will not be disappointed. They are among the top (if not the top) sitter I've ever had and I've been on this site for years. Primarily, they are very organized. In the weeks and days leading up to the sit, Macie and Roman kept me abreast of their plans and status. I felt very comfortable in the days leading up to the sit because I knew the plan we made to exchange the keys and walk them through the instructions would work as planned. Second, Macie and Roman really care. When they got to my apartment after a very long morning of traveling, I explained the care instructions and they were very attentive and cared about the details - asking very specific questions on how to care for my cat and apartment. I had some pretty specific rules about how to feed my cat and take care of him and Macie and Roman followed those exactly. Third, Macie and Roman make you feel comfortable while you are away. I got daily or twice daily updates about my cat. I got pictures which made me feel like my cat was having a good time. My cat came out of hiding very quickly and was snuggling with them and letting them hold him. It was so nice to see the pictures of them all bonding! Macie and Roman have a calming energy towards animals for sure! Macie and Roman were also very responsive when I reached out first - replying within 30 minutes. I really appreciated that. Fourth, Roman and Macie will take good care of your apartment/house. I came back to a SPOTLESS apartment. The towels were washed. The apartment had been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The dishwasher had been run. Everything was in its place when I returned. Honestly, cleaner than when I left it which is difficult since I am a very clean person. Macie and Roman also respects your property. We had a room we asked them not to enter and they respected that. In short, Macie and Roman are amazing. I would have them back in a heartbeat. Our house was in good order when we got back and Steven was kind enough to give us a lift to and from the airport. He was very flexible, arriving day early so we could show him around.

Gary was extremely accommodating of our last-minute request when our dog sitter fell through. He clearly cares about all the animals he watches, and he has a great setup at his house. Our two dogs enjoyed their time there and I felt better knowing they were being cared for by a professional!
Gary was so accommodating for our last minute needs for our dog Bali. He kept us updated with photos of how much fun she was having. We could relax and enjoy our trip because we felt our pup was being cared for as if she were home with us. Bali came home happy and exhausted from all the fun she had!
I don't board my dog often so I'm very picky about where he goes. At Paws and Claws, i felt like Rocco was staying with a friend. He has a huge yard to play in and a cozy place to spend the night.

This place is amazing. I was nervous about boarding my dog Bella because she's a pandemic puppy and has separation anxiety. The care and attention by the staff put those worries to rest. I was able to see how much fun she was having through their puppy cam. Shout out to Dalton for giving me updates on Bella while I was on my trip.The pricing is also very reasonable for the attention and care they provide. Don't hesitate to check it out.
Left my Bull Terrier Mix there for seven days while I traveled. I had acclimated him there by leaving him for day care. Once I pull into the driveway he's already looking forward to entering the facility. Having worked at a dog ranch for a number of years, I knew what my expectations were. Wacky Wags did not disappoint. Everything went smoothly with arranging overnight care. My companion was well cared for and was well rested. I would highly recommend Wacky Wags. If I need daycare or overnight care again for my companion, Wacky Wags will be my choice.
Love the facility and the staff!! I left my 3 babies (dogs) with them. This was the first time ever leaving my kids at a boarding facility. The staff is amazing. They give your pet one on one attention and actually get to know their personalities! They also put up with me and eased all of my worries! I know they are in great hands! I am one of those people who constantly worries about their pet. It is so nice that people who board their pets here have the ability to check on them with access to cameras. Odie always comes home tired after he stays here. The staff are super nice and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place for boarding and daycare.
Loooooove this place! I had recently adopted my dog when my husband and i has to leave for two days and were unable ti take Stella(my pup). She had been boarded here previously , so naturally it was my first thought. I called and set it up. What blew my mind is that when she and i walked in they knew exactly who she was! Down to knowing the pumpkin I add to her food! On our second visit , she was getting her nails trimmed. Something to know about my Stella is , all 7lbs of her is separation anxiety. So during her mini spa day , The owner held her ever so lovingly in his arms as he gentley trimmed her up. I can not speak highly enough of this place , and will continue to give them my business 💙💙💙💙💙

There is only one service we use when we go out of town, and that’s Secret and her Fetch Pet Sitting. Secret has taken amazing care of our two big dogs and cat while we are out of town. We have used her overnight, and up to two weeks at a time. She is very responsible, and helps out not only with pet care, but is more than willing to collect your mail, water your plants etc. She is extremely trustworthy and texts us daily updates, along with pictures if we so desire. Our dogs and cat love Secret, we love Secret, and you will too!
Can't imagine allowing anyone to dog-sit our kids except Secret. Always professional, and on-time. Our dogs love her. Secret almost always sleeps over to care for our special needs cat. Living on 5 acres the dogs can be a handful. I have yet to have any problems with them, and it's very reassuring that Secret has a background in Veterinary Technology. Definitely our go-to pet person.
Secret has a way with animals. Our dog Jeter can be pretty rambunctious, and Secret will hold her palm out to him and he sits down immediately, tail going 100 mph in anticipation of his belly scratch. Secret is reliable and trustworthy. She has been dog sitting for us for years. I highly recommend her.
Secret is a dog whisperer! She was prompt, professional, congenial, and easy to be with. Lucy (our golden retriever) became friends right away. Secret stayed at our house and when we returned it looked as good as we left it. 5 stars from us! Thank you, Secret!
We have hired quite a few pet sitters in the past, and so far SECRET is the very best of them all. She’s very responsible She treated our Puddles and Zeus like her own babies so to speak. I recently had to leave my dog for a week while traveling to the East Coast, and after trying different solutions like having someone stop by the house or house-sitting, none had quite met my expectations. I was extremely anxious about boarding her, especially when the Park fire broke out on our first night away. However, Terry, the owner of K9 Meridian Resort, was incredibly accessible and reassured me that everything was fine. He eased my worries, and when we picked her up, she was so happy and well taken care of. It almost seemed like she wanted to stay and play some more! I am immensely thankful for Canine Meridian Resort and look forward to having our baby girl stay there again during our future trips, ensuring she has a happy and safe stay while we’re away from home.

We've brought our energetic and friendly pup here a few times now. He seems to enjoy spending time with the other dogs playing, no complaints from him. He came home happy, healthy and clean. I believe there is a wash service available for longer stays. He had no signs of scuffles with other dogs, despite how exuberant he is to play with others. All the other boarded dogs seem to have a nice temperament, and are quite loved by their families. They seemed to be a happy bunch and no signs of distress at all. I'd venture to say they rather enjoy this play time while owners are away The kennels are very clean and the outdoor area is beautiful, shade is available. There is nice grassy area and the other dogs seemed quite happy with their stay as well. Getting ahold of owner is a bit difficult via phone, because this is also a busy farm utilized for weddings and events. I believe email was best communication for questions. So plan ahead if you have questions or need to contact. The kennel is located at back of property past the main home and horse areas. Drive past the statue of a buck and the driveway will lead you to kennel area Our pup is spoiled and the kids hate having to board him, but they feel good about his stays here and trust the environment. The location is absolutely beautiful and the kennel is clean and peaceful. We will be return patrons for vacations.

I was worried about leaving my 14yr old big boy at kennel. In the past I've relied on family to care for him. I got home earlier than expected and went to pick him up. Driving up I saw Mr Bear lounging outside with 2 other big dogs. He was just chilling out on the grass catching some rays, I was so relieved to see him so relaxed. Thank you Terry and crew
Terry is THE ABSOLUTE BEST. He has been SO GOOD with our rambunctious adoptee, and managed her special needs so well. He has also been super accommodating when we've had a couple last minute emergencies. And to top it off, he's just a really friendly, funny guy. All the other local places charge about double of his prices, so it's a total no brainer. Customers for life!
I have boarded my dog here for 1-2 week stays while on vacation several times. Each time my dog has been happy there and well cared for. The place is always very clean and the staff are pleasant.
The moment I arrived at this country style kennel, I knew my dogs were going to have lots of doggie things to keep their minds and bodies active instead of confined and going crazy. Terry matches up dog groups with small doors they can go in and out of as they choose, all day long. My dogs have long been in need of this type of activity! The enclosures are expansive for daytime freedom and socialization, then they are kenneled at night in separate enclosures for “rest time”.
Great place! Super friendly staff and my dog loves coming here. I’ve been coming here for the last 5 years and highly recommend.

Rachel and Jonathan, of Sitter for your Critters shared the care responsibilities for my gregarious Labradoodle over a period of two weeks. From walking him, to teaching him new skills, cleaning up after him, along with his feedings, they kept such good care of him it helped me enjoy my adventure. I even got adorable pics, daily, of my Dood on the walks, yard play, and quiet time with the sitter. The sitter, at each visit, also checked around my home, collected my mail, and watered my plants. We decided to leave our 2 large dogs with Justin instead of having them kenneled for 5 days. We were anxious about leaving them since we had never left them for more than 1 night before. Justin was extremely flexible and easy to deal with. He made our dogs feel at home, took good care of them and consistently sent us texts and pics to let us know how our doggos were doing. IMO leaving them with Justin was far better than bringing them to a kennel. If we ever have a need for such a service in the future we will definitely be calling McDavitt Pet Care. Thanks Justin!
We are so happy that we have found Justin's Pet Care. Our Lab was not in a kennel, but allowed to be outside playing with the other dogs. I appreciated that fact that Justin would text us photos daily of our dog and answer any questions we might have. We were in constant contact. I would highly recommend Justin!
Just picked up my extremely high maintenance pup from 4 days with Justin. She is happy and tired and had a great time! Justin sent me pictures and updates throughout and accommodated a last minute medication change. Highly recommend!!
We are so happy we found Justin to watch our puppy. We only had Max for a couple months before we needed a sitter due to a pre-planned vacation. I was torn leaving him with a stranger but Justin sent me updates and pictures of Max while we were gone. That made me really happy to know Max was having a great time. I had never boarded my almost 12 year old dog before and they offered a room for rough dogs the four days he was there he did absolutely great! Will go back he loves his friends at Nor Cal!!
After booking with them a month in advance they waited till we were on vacation to tell us our dogs vaccine was expired and wouldn’t take him. I have heard they have done this to other people as well, they will leave you stranded be carful.
My experience with nor cal pet services was amazing we had our puppy bear scheduled for a stay and where needing a shot still summer was able to recommend a local vet that got me in the same day at a reasonable price . And now we are all good to go thank you so much for the help and professionalism would definitely recommend.

He took great care of my 1 year old Pyrenees Odin over the weekend. He took pictures as seen below over his stay also. I recommend them 110%.
We had a trip planned to Montana post-thanksgiving, and our regular dog sitter cancelled due to illness. Jeffrey & family took great care of our frenchie for the week, followed her med schedule, and sent lots of updates with pics. Highly recommended and we will use them in the future
Arrived at Mr. Carlsons home to board my dog for a few days for Thanksgiving and immediately felt uneasy. My husband was standing by the gate because we were waiting for him to open it and when he let us in he acted angry asking my husband if he was pulling on the gate in which he replied no sir, I definitely was not touching your gate. That seemed to be resolved so I get my dog out to take her in and I ask if I could see where she will be staying. He immediately blocks the door and says no. Which I felt was weird and I said I’d feel more comfortable seeing where she will be staying. He said if you would have arrived early you could have! In a very stern voice. I arrived at 5:10 had to wait 15min before he let us in. Over the phone I asked when I should arrive and he said around 5 would be fine. He also stated that there were kids and dogs running around which was why I couldn’t come in. He keeps the dogs out to free roam his house. I said that was ok I would just feel comfortable if I could take a look. He said no again and I asked for my deposit back and he refused. When we spoke on the phone he made it sound like they would have their own area and be crated. Seems like a sketchy guy trying to make a quick buck. I do not recommend!
Another review said that Jeffery was angry for showing up early, he was also angry that we were early. Our instinct was to leave with our pets but we had a flight to catch. We returned after three days and called a half an hour away and when we arrived he would not bring our pets out since we were 1 hour early. Our pets were both sick with diarrea and internal bleeding and one had a cut on his face and a severe infection to his foot, I would not recommend this business to anyone if you love your pets.
We left our Jack Russel and elderly mixed breed with Carlson canine castle for 3 nights while on vacation. When we returned both of our pets had severe diarrhea and bleading internally. The Jack Russel had a puncture to his face, a broken tooth and a severe infection to his foot that we are still dealing with a month later. Jeffry stated that our Jack Russel was trying to claw his way through his metal fence and that is what caused all the damage to him ( why was he allowed to do this, No supervision ? ) This can all be corroberated by our vet. This facility should close it's doors immediately as it is unsafe to say the least. UPDATE: Very little if any of Jeffry's response is true. NO neither Ivan or Boo have anxiety as his photos indicate when dropped off. NO they did not have colitis, They BOTH had severe diarrhea and internal bleeding from a contamination of water, surface areas of the facility or something on the premises ( No it did not clear up in 2 days Jeffry it was more than a week ) YES our vet is retiring but fully licensed and sees some of his long time patrons. ( The first of three vet bills WAS sent and Jeffry only paid half of the first one and stated that he would pay the remainder and never did ) THE SPAM accusation is not true, I believe that if a business provides bad service that others should know about it. I believe this business is a danger to pets and would never trust Jeffry to take care of them again. ( my last negative review of a business was left over a year ago so NO I do not leave spam ) We arrived to drop our pets off a few minutes early and Jeffry was visably angry, we should not have left them at that point. As the other negative feedback shows Jeffry has an anger problem, is unreliable, does not watch pets properly, has an unclean facility and will say anything to shirk his responsibility. NEVER once did he call to ask how our pets were during their illness and injuries, does he care about our pets ? His facility is also on the Shasta County Sherrifs watch for that area. Anyone with a similar experience should report it to the Shasta County Sherrifs Dept.
Jeffrey and Jessica Carlson are excellent care providers. I feel comfortable leaving my two high energy terriers in their care. Jeffrey plays fetch with them! He takes the time to prepare their meals as my dogs have special diets. Jeffrey and Jessica are compassionate about dogs in their care. I highly recommend Canine Castle to care for your dogs.
I have boarded my dog Rafael (65lb German Shepherd) with them more times than I can count and I highly recommend them. They are his home away from home. As we pull up their driveway Rafael gets so excited! As soon as I've opened the door he's flying out and sniffing around or waiting by the front door to be let in, tail wagging, big smile on his face, no thoughts about saying bye to me. They've sent me pictures of him playing around with the other pups they board while I'm away. Never had a bad incident. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
They took great care of our lab during our out of town trip. Even during this miserable heat spell! Will definitely be calling them again!
My dogs were happy pups with lots of room to roam while at the Castle. Jeff and his family provided great care and gave me updates as requested. We plan to be back.
The Carlsons are amazing! I moved to Redding for work and didn’t know a single person. I travel often and needed a dependable, safe place for my Sissy girl! They have exceeded my expectations. I have been a customer for over 2 years. I NEVER have to worry about my Sissy girl when I’m gone. I know she is safe and happy with them! What a blessing they have been ❤️

The best day care pet sitting around! A five star rating from me. Maggie adores Brian and can't wait until she is in his car with all her buddies. She comes home all tired out and ready to just cuddle up for the evening. One happy dog. All of the dogs Brian and Melinda take into their day care are friendly, sociable and fun loving. I feel so fortunate to have met Brian at the dog park a year ago, as I can work full time and know that Maggie is having a great time all day! Plus I get a video or picture every day of the dogs having a blast together.
My Goldie Bella LOVES Brian! She gets so happy when he comes over to pick her up! He definitely is her Best Buddy! When Bella is on a walk with Brian or staying overnight, I know she is in good hands. I have absolutely no worries. I completely trust him with my sweet Bella! Brian is truly my dogs best buddy. I rescued Sandy in February, she’s a year and a half old golden doodle, full of energy and excitement. Brian has been caring for my girl twice a week since then, she comes home happy and tired. While I’m at work I know Sandy is having fun, Brian sometimes texts me photos of her day and it always brings a smile to my face. But mostly, I know Sandy is in loving hands. Brian is honest, dependable, flexible and he clearly loves dogs. I don’t know what we would do without him.
Brian and Melinda were great to work with. I was coming to grass valley from Mexico for world fest and needed a dog lover to care for my dog child while I was at the music festival. When I called Brian and told him the situation. He asked all the appropriate questions and emailed me paperwork to fill out and send back to him, and gave me his Face Book Page info. This was all six months prior to the music festival. I checked in with him 2 months and 2 week prior to my boy”s stay and Brian said they were anxiously awaiting his visit. On the day of the arrival Brian introduced my child to his outside of the home to make sure all went well and it did. While I was at the music festival Brain was kind enough to send me pictures of my boy playing and having fun. When I picked my boy up from Melinda ( Brian was working) my boy was very relaxed and happy. I can only tell you if you want someone to love your fur as much as you do, I would highly recommend A Dog”s Best Buddy, because I believe Brian and Melinda really do think of dogs as their buddies.
Brian is fantastic! I always feel so comfortable leaving my dog Watson with him. I started taking Watson to Brian when he was a puppy, under 1 years old. Brian is patient with puppy behavior, and also provides helpful feedback on how they behaved. Brian is fantastic with communication and extremely responsive which is helpful as sometimes plans change with drop off or pick up. I would highly recommend A Dog's Best Buddy Pet Sitting to anyone!
Brian has been the consummate professional dog walker for me. I find him to be thorough, reliable and flexible as his schedule allows. Brian bailed me out of a difficult situation wherein my vacation dog sitter did not honor our agreement and I was left with no back-up plan and only a couple of days to figure things out. Being that I work so much and also have a tremendous amount of love and affection for my dog, Brian helps bridge that gap in my life.
My 10 month old Lab, Gus, has been going to A Dog's Best Buddy Pet Sitting, several days a week over the past several months. Gus loves to spend time with Brian and always comes home well cared for, exercised and tired. Brian sends me pictures of Gus throughout the day and keeps me posted on Gus's activities. I never have any concerns when leaving Gus at a Dog's Best Buddy Pet Sitting and feel so thankful that I found a place to look after my little love while I am at work or traveling. I have also left Gus over night on many occasions and have been equally happy with the care he receives during those times.
Brian has been a great help looking after my 3 year old Austrialian Shepherd, Simon, when I am working or traveling. My dog is full of energy and could get anxious when I am not around. Brian did not have trouble winning Simon’s affection. My dog always looks forward to spending time with Brian. I work long hours and Brian tries to be flexible to accommodate my schedule. He actually picks up and drop off Simon where I work. Without Brian, I do not know how i’d keep my dog and be able to work. He also send pictures of my happy Simon, which serve as pick me up when I’m exhausted at work.
My dog "Chewie" loves her walks with Brian! She comes back exhausted and sleeps all afternoon, such a great outlet for her puppy energy - and excellent socialization too. Brian is super-professional and great to interact with, and i love getting the text-message updates and videos during her walks, I can see she's having so much fun.
Brian is awesome! He is great with dogs--my dog loves spending the day with Brian-she gets walks and dog park play. He is super reliable--stays in touch and is very flexible with schedules. Highly recommend!
