I was delayed by a day in Florence because of an accident but I texted Sophie’s and Adam responded immediately. They stepped up like troupers and continued to feed my cat without drama or fuss. In a world of ‘don’t care companies’ Sophie’s are faultless. Thank you for all your care and attention and the photograph of Daisy while I was away.

We have been using Sophies Pet Care since August for our 2 dogs, Scooby and Bentley. We do a lot of the dog walking but they do 3 walks a week and both dogs love it. It has helped with them getting used to other dogs again. The team at Sophies are simply the best and nothing is too much trouble. Really impressed by what they do and how they do it - thank you!

If you are looking for an amazing pet sitting service, look no further than Sophie's Pet Care. I cannot recommend them more highly. They are extremely professional with a very good team of nannies working for them. I have used them for quite a few years now and both my dogs absolutely love going to stay with them and their nannies. It is a home from home experience for them and therefore I can relax and not have to worry about them. Sophie takes on board all their traits, likes and dislikes so they are looked after the same as I would look after them. Their on line booking in system is very user friendly and makes booking so easy. I totally recommend Sophies Pet Care and so do my dogs!!!

We have recently been having our young boy Lab (20 months) walked with Sophie's Pet Care 3 times a week. He thoroughly enjoys the forest walks and, as he is being walked with other dogs, it has really helped with his dog socialisation.

Thank you ever so much for taking such good care of our cats and guinea pig. We have been away and we're always nervous of leaving them in a cattery, but Sophie's Pet Care came twice a day, in the comfort of our fur babies own home. They kept us updated and the utility room was lovely and clean when we got home. Thank you, will definitely use again. Lots of love from Loki, Leonardo, Alfonso and Cloud :)

Other reviews seem favourable hence why we chose Sophies to look after our cat and fish while we were away. Wish we hadn't bothered now as we ended up over £600 out of pocket. Could not manage to empty a litter tray correctly just removing the solids and tops of clumped litter meaning the entire bottom layer of litter was solid. This resulted in her refusing to use the tray and peed on our bed instead. Depite trying to get it cleaned and using enzyme cleaners the mattress could not be saved and had to be replaced at a cost of over £600. The scoop was right next to the tray, no attempt was made to contact us (we were in the UK and both mobile numbers were provided). I know the response from the owners will cite "stress" but I strongly refute this - she has never peed anywhere but the tray in her 7 years even when we had new central heating replaced by several plumbers, storms, fireworks etc etc. Yes, we were given a refund for the £65 we paid out but that didn't even cover the cost of trying to save the mattress. Overall the service was a huge disappointment and an expensive lesson. Might I suggest you stick to walking dogs?

Sophie's Pet Care have been so helpful over the last couple of years since I have been using them for dog walks. They always manage to fit us in when I need help at the last minute. The best thing is that my dog absolutely loves his walks, the other dogs and all of the rangers! I couldn't be without Sophie's so THANK YOU!

We have now used Sophie's Pet Care for a couple of years...we have always experienced a friendly and professional service - never has there been anything other than this which has made us, and our Cockerpoo, very happy. Whether it be a mid-day walk whilst we're out working, or a holiday whilst we're away, the team are so friendly, trustworthy and reliable we know our dog is nothing but looked after. We were very much impressed with Sophie's Cats. They mix efficiency with understanding of and fondness for cats. We returned after 10 days away to find the place clean and tidy, and two well groomed and happy cats. Use this firm : You won't get better.

We couldn’t be happier that we found Charlotte to look after our Labrador. He has great adventures with his friends roaming the forest and comes home happy and exhausted. Charlotte uses positive training methods, communicates really well and promptly, and we get photos of our boy regularly. He is always very happy to see her- giving a good sniff each day. Would recommend Charlotte without hesitation- it feels like she is part of our dogs family.

Homers Hounds (Charlotte ) helped me out initially while I was recovering from a knee replacement .Lark (my Labrador) was extremely happy to be walked by Charlotte who is reliable ,extremely professional ,very fair and kind ....and takes her for a good hour at a time . Lark waits by the window on her dog walk days . Charlotte is very prudent as to which dogs she will walk together . She does not take many dogs at a time and has done some one to one walks for ourselves. Since my operation I have continued to use Charlotte twice a week and will do in the future . Charlotte's feedback is honest on my dogs behaviour on her walks and will give training where needed . She is knowledgeable and can offer helpful advice when asked . I would recommend her to anyone . We used Charlotte at Homers hounds whilst on a mini break when we went out for the day and couldn't take the dog. Charlotte couldn't have put us more at ease. She made the logistics really easy and has a real trustworthy, honest and loving nature about her. Charlotte kept us updated throughout the day and sent us pictures of our fur baby; it was clear our girl was having a lovely day on her adventures. I would highly recommend using Charlotte and will be in touch for any future sessions.

Charlotte at Homer's Hounds looked after our 2 year old golden retriever whilst we actually got married! Timber has never been looked after by anyone else due to being a lockdown pup and Charlotte couldn't have put us more at ease. We were able to enjoy our wedding day knowing he was in the best hands. Charlotte was so accommodating and also brought him to our wedding venue for photographs. When we picked him up he didn't even want to leave hers, which shows just how much he loved spending time with her. If we ever need him looking after again, whether it be for a few hours, day or two, or week, we will not hesitate to book him in with Homer's Hounds. Thank you so much Charlotte!

Our cockapoo Charlie has stayed with Jamie 3 times now and he has such a good time. She looks after the dogs as if they are her own and is very knowledgable. Jamie has extensive grounds for the dogs to enjoy and Charlie is always looking fit, healthy and loved when he returns.

Our goldendoodle Honey loves going to stay with Jamie for her holidays and cant wait to get out of the car when we arrive . Jamie is so professional and kind to the dogs. Barkers Home Boarding has provided an absolutely outstanding service for our spaniel Lottie over the past three years. Lottie loves being with Jamie and always enjoys her holidays there, she seems reluctant to leave again. Jamie is outstanding and totally reliable and is a real testament to her business. A truly wonderful place to board your dog in such a beautiful private setting and safe, secure surroundings. Our dogs absolutely love it, they howl with excitement as we turn into the lane leading to Barkers, they leap out of the car and don’t look back! They completely adore Jamie and her wonderful walks, she is totally professional, so kind and capable and we feel a huge relief knowing that they’re in her competent hands whilst we’re away. We’ve found nowhere else comparable and would recommend Barkers without hesitation.

Archie's been going to Barkers twice a week for day care and regular sleep over's for 5 years now and he loves it! There's not even a backward glance when we drop him off. He's grown into a sociable obedient good boy and that's largely thanks to Jamie who is amazing. Barkers is the best dog care we have ever used. Jamie has provided a place for our Springer Spaniel on numerous occasions and each visit has been extremely positive. Our springer literally bounces out of the car when we arrive and quickly settles in. The care provided is exceptional and we would highly recommend Barkers for either day or boarding. It is home away from home for dogs.

Jamie provides a loving, fun & safe environment for our dog Wilbur. He loves staying with her and runs in to her without a backwards glance. It's such a relief to know that's he's living his best life while we're away.

We had Poppy’s look after our lab mix for a couple of weekends whilst we were out of town. He came home happy so we would recommend this place if you are looking for short weekend kennelling for your dog.

When we visited the enclosure some months ago it was tatty and uncared for, even dangerous eg a broken patio chair that could have caused you to fall backwards if you had sat on it, lots of weeds in a rowing boat that was supposed to be a flower bed. There were balls of fluff from a tumble drier in a shed off the side of the paddock that our dog might have eaten and some other rubbish lying around on the grass. There was a multi-level structure that the dog could climb up which reached about head height. When our dog was at the top I was horrified that he then jumped off sideways rather then follow the boards safely down and he could have done a lot of damage to himself with such a huge jump. We didn't feel comfortable because there was a man in a nearby caravan who could watch us. Then we discovered broken glass in the middle of the field and we wanted to leave immediately but felt intimidated by the man, so stayed another five minutes then we were out of there and will never return. It was reported to NFDC with photographs.

We had a trip to New forest and wanted a day out were we could take our little pocket rocket with us. Booked him and felt completely comfortable on arrival seeing the other pooches getting on so well 😊🐶 he had a great day and was exhausted through all the play. Would 100 percent use them again and can't recommend enough! Many thanks me and Boris 😊🐶

Used the secure enclosure a little while ago. There were a bunch of half eaten balls that our dog tried to scoff, aswell as a lady in the house next door going absolutely ballistic at a dog (I really hope that's not where the boarding is...). Won't be back.
