They have all this extensive advertising as taking care of exotic pets/ bunnies until when you call they cannot take you unless you are an existing pet patient of the vet next door. Will not even allow for me to sign a consent to treat if there is an emergency. Their advertising is a whole lot of fluff. One star only to allow me to post this review. What a disappointment. The guy was rude and told me to let my vet do the boarding. My vet is upfront and doesn’t lead the public on with false advertisement.

Terrible service. I've called and emailed multiple times about rabbit boarding, and they've ignored me. I already thought the 'pet needs to be a patient' thing was annoying, but when I asked how to make her a patient, they started ignoring me. Crazy.

We have taken our dog there for 4 years. He loves it and staff knows him. I trust them with my pet.

We had a lot of issues with our Aussie doodle being scared/timid about everything. Almost home eased her into their daycare program, giving her the special attention that she needed until she was comfortable being with the other dogs. Now over a year later she is as confident/socialized as can be! Very thankful for almost home and their staff.

Love these folks. They know my dog by name even though I only board twice a year. She always comes home happy and loved. It feels like she doesn't want to leave.

I refer everyone of my pet owner friends and colleagues to Almost Home. I have two high energy dogs both of whom I've been bringing to Almost Home for daycare since they were puppies. It's been a little over a year since I started coming in and I could not be happier with the staff and the facilities. They know the dogs by name and treat them as if they were their own pets. When one is absent the staff actually notice and ask after them. Boarding has been such an easy process as well since I know the dogs are being taken care of and getting some loving attention. I have also found Almost Home to be very affordable, having heard from others the outrageous prices they've paid for boarding their own animals. Could not be a happier dog dad!!!

It’s very difficult to find a boarding place that boards exotic animals let alone boards them CORRECTLY. i’ve had my rabbit for three years now, and I’ve always chosen this boarding place when I decide to take a trip. He gets a full room and lots of love, and everyone knows him by name. Most places offer to keep my rabbit in a cage for the duration of my absence. But here, he gets to roam just like he does at home. This last visit, he got anxiety and almost went into GI stasis and the staff was quick to notify me and also nurse him back to health. They even went out of their way to buy my bunny treats and greens. I’m so thankful for what they did for my fur baby. If you have an exotic pet I absolutely recommend this place!! Been taking my dogs here since they were pups. I love it and so do my dogs. They are old now and would prefer to sleep instead of play, but loved Dog Day Out when they were younger dogs. There are also good training classes and friendly staff.

My puppy has separation anxiety, so I started looking around for doggy daycare options while I’m at work. I found Raven’s service online and saw the good reviews/how close it was in proximity to my home. They have been extremely communicative and professional throughout the entire process. I get a “report card” at the end of my pup’s stay - complete with beautiful photos that make me feel like I was still a little part of his day. Not only does he get to socialize with other pets, he gets to expend all his puppy energy - which means he’s tuckered out and ready for sleep at the end of the day. Naturally I was worried to leave my puppy with other people, especially during a pandemic, but Raven’s K9to5 has alleviated that anxiety completely. They truly seem to care about my pup. Raven and her husband have exceeded my expectations and I am very satisfied with the care my puppy is receiving/has received thus far!

I am so glad I found Raven and her husband! I have never felt so confident about someone else taking care of my doggo. Bella Rose has so much fun when she goes to stay with Raven. When we go on vacation she goes to doggy camp! She always has friends to play with and they do play! She is always so worn out when she comes home. And I love the pictures that I get every day. And the report card usually cracks me up. I was really late picking up Bella and they just rolled with it. Traveling is unpredictable sometimes. Thank you Raven for all the times you’ve watched Belle! We only use Raven now!

So thankful for Raven! She was able to help me on short notice and was super sweet and helpful! She was very patient with my shy and grumpy rabbit, and dropped by my hotel twice a day to make sure she had everything she needed. I was extremely anxious about leaving my rabbit alone, but Raven sent me pictures of her when she could, and I felt so much more comfortable about leaving. Very thankful to have found her and will absolutely be using her again when I go out of town!

I went to Florida for 5 days and used Ravens K9 to 5 to board my yorkie. This was the first time I have ever had to board my baby and I was so weiry about leaving him with just anybody. We are new to the area and really dont know anyone yet. I looked into the "pet suite" facilities that offer boarding and they keep the dogs in a kennel and all the dogs are left over night by themselves. When I found Ravens K9 and seen that the dogs were house board, I felt my dog would be alot happier there. After dropping him off I was so sad and couldn't even enjoy my vacation due to being worried about him. Raven made sure to ease my mind and send me pics and videos showing me that my baby was happy and enjoying himself. This made it much easier being away from him. I will use Ravens K9 to 5 every time I need a babysitter. He is now home safe and sound and I couldn't be happier!! Thanks Raven

After multiple pet sitters backed out we contacted Raven in the middle of a busy holiday planning season. Thankfully she was able to fit in our crew of 4 dogs and 1 cat. She stayed the nights at our house and did multiple daily check ins with them. Her communication was fantastic and we loved getting daily photos. Our house was left clean so you could tell she treated it as her own. The animals all enjoyed her company despite having a few naughty moments! We hope to use her again for any future vacations.

I had a wonderful experience with Raven caring for our pets while we were away. This was my 1st time ever hiring a company for pet services. Raven did a wonderful job of answering all of my questions before she even began services, and kept us updated every step of the way...including pictures of my babies being cared for so superbly!! This was our first time using Raven's services for home visits for our 7+ year old cat Lola. Everything about our experience was wonderful. Raven and her husband were both friendly and knowledgable during their introductory meeting in our home. Lola warmed up to Raven very quickly. We were concerned in that we adopted Lola through Wisconsin Purebred Cat Rescue last Summer and she had never been without us overnight before. Her previous owners left her for sometimes weeks at a time. Raven let us know about her arrival and gave us thorough updates after each visit (including wonderful pictures). We highly recommend Raven's K9 to 5 Pet Services and will certainly use her services again when we are going to be away on overnight trips. Lola seemed to bond with Raven very quickly. Thanks Raven!

We used Raven's while out of town on vacation and found it to be a great place for our pup. Our dog, a Great Dane named Willow, had a blast there and literally played until she could play no more! The daily reports were very helpful and the daily photos that were included in the reports were an added bonus. Communication was quick and easy, and not to mention, Willow had a blast. Definitely will use Raven's again when the time comes!

We have used Raven's K9 to 5 Pet Services for the past 3 years each time we've gone away. Raven does her best to accommodate our travel schedules, and, more importantly, has treated our dogs like family -with care and attention. As our dogs have gotten older, their needs have changed. Raven is always attentive to what is required for their comfort and contentment. 😊

Raven provided excellent care for our two senior cats in our home for a few days. On each visit, we received notification when she was arriving, followed up with lots of photos of the cats and a report card of how they were doing. Her care of litter boxes, feedings, and other details was meticulous. Communication is awesome and she responds to questions immediately. I highly recommend her for excellent care of your pets!

Our pups LOVE Krystal! She is so good to them. We are sometimes gone two full weeks and we have no concerns about our puppies! She loves on them and she takes such good care of them! I would recommend her and her Peanut’s Pet Sitting to anyone looking for someone to take care of their pet!

Krystal has been taking care of my high maintenance dog since she was a puppy (she turns 7 this year). She has nursed her through illness, injuries, and Even though this fur momma can get very anxious, she always puts my mind at ease and takes excellent care of her. She is her second momma and Neko loves her so very much. I wouldn’t trust her with anyone else.

Krystal is so sweet and knowledgeable. I was walking my dog one day and she drove by. She backed up and asked why my dog was limping. I hadn’t noticed it. She found a small pebble in between her foot pads. I now check that frequently. She has also helped me with dog training. Now when we go for walks my dog goes up the driveway looking for her. She’s the best!!

Pet Station is amazing. Our Rizzo can become pretty anxious when he’s away from us, but the staff at Pet Station took great care of him and asked so many questions that put us right at ease and we knew he would do great there. Boone is happy anywhere but was clearly satisfied with the attention he got, which was great! They communicated when necessary but minimally. I will definitely use Pet Station again!

My wife, my dog Mo, and I had a great first experience at Pet Station Country Club at Vinecrest. They were very kind and considerate, and they took care of our buddy Mo the best they could. He had his first evaluation for Daycation yesterday, and he loved it. I look forward to taking him back. The staff took photos of our dog having a good time, shared them on Facebook, and we really appreciate that. I highly recommend them.

My little guy just graduated from a 4 week board and train program with Beck Saults. The best words I have to describe our experience are: Life changing. From the very first phone conversation, I knew Beck was the right trainer for my dog. She thoroughly interviewed me about his behaviors, my expectations and asked great questions to get a deeper understanding. She’s a Balanced Trainer and that’s exactly the training we needed. She is a FANTASTIC communicator! Frequent texts and phone calls for those conversations that were more complex, all made me feel a part of the process. In the end, my expectations were FAR exceeded!! The facility is beautiful! Every single staff person I encountered was engaging, polite and caring. Top notch cleanliness everywhere. The daily photos that were emailed to me were so cute and I really appreciate that touch! We will be continuing to select The Pet Station Country Club for training and other services such as grooming. Absolutely the best decision I could have made! Thank you to ALL of the TPSCC team! Our Lexi is a 13 year old love bug. We hate leaving her but she is very happy at the Pet Station. I love the photos they send us while we’re away. She always looks like she has a smile on her face. The care she gets is fantastic and they individualize a plan just for her per my requests. The kennel is so clean. I will always bring her back here. She also had her bath before coming home.

Teddy and I loved our experience working with Beck!! It was important for us to work with a trainer that understood reactivity and could help us meet our goals and Beck did outstanding! I loved seeing the progress he made over a 3 week board and train, and I now feel prepared to handle any challenges as a handler! I seriously can’t say enough good things about Pet Station! First, so many of our friends recommended them. Second, this is the first time in 7 years my dog has ever been boarded. We were really anxious about leaving her in a boarding facility, but the staff was super nice upon arrival. We got daily photos and text updates. We actually live really close and occasionally walk past Pet Station. She’s a very anxious dog and we thought maybe she’d be “traumatized” from being left and wouldn’t want to walk past there anymore, but there were employees outside who immediately recognized her and she went running up to them! We almost couldn’t get her to leave. We loved our first experience with Pet Station and will definitely use them again.

We’ve been bringing our puppy to Pet Station since June (when she was about 5 months old), starting with Daycation and UnoCare. We recently looked into and had our dog complete a 3-week board and train with Beck! The experience has been an investment in both our dog and our relationship with her. We wanted to expand her capabilities and confidence, and Beck provided the expert guidance we needed! Beck is a personable, certified trainer who truly loves her work—she's in high demand for a reason! Since completing the board and train, our girl has made amazing progress: shes working hard and can settle in the car, is working through handling situations that make her want to keep into prey-drive, walk beautifully on a heel, and enjoy off-leash adventures! One of our biggest challenges was getting her comfortable in the car, and Beck worked wonders. She even took our personal humongo (hehe) car kennel in her vehicle and trained our dog with it to help the transition for when she came home! We continue to bring our dog to Daycation and plan to continue to work with Beck! We can’t recommend enough not only Pet Station, but Beck to anyone looking to train their dog. If you're even a little curious about their services, don’t hesitate!

Paws Pet Care has done a wonderful job caring for my dogs for several years now. Beth is super responsive with any issues. My dogs are always happy to see Carrie walk through the door for walks or playtime and I've been very fortunate to have professional sitters to love on my dogs when we are gone, Sondra being our latest. My cat is very shy and easy to get anxiety. The cat sitter from Paws Pet Care really understands her character. She communicates with my cat without pushing her. She looks after her perfectly according to my wishes. I will ask Paws Pet Care for next time.

I had a wonderful experience with Sydney and Paxton! My dog is older and needs medications, and they were great about staying on top of it. It was great having picture updates about how he was doing, and they spent extra time with him! They also kept in touch with my family at home to coordinate care. I highly recommend their services!

New Review the owners answer to this review is obvious a desperate owner trying save her rating. I have only ever had 1 sitter with this company and we got on well. I loved Katie and was sad when she left the company. Also I have 3 cameras and I told them about the cameras. Never tried to hid it. My cat has never gone potty outside the litter box. That however was not paws fault, it was due to an added dog in the house. However had it been caught earlier a litter could have been moved to the area she was in. I did talk to the owner at 2 am when the original sitter did not seem to let the dogs out. Demanding? I expect my animals fed, pet and loves and played with. I have copies of every conversation ever had with my previous sitter I would love to see any supposed abuse. I also had no problem with the pet care once taken over by the owner however the problems had already been set in motion ( wrong dog food). Also I would like to mention that Katie had zero problems with my daughters dog. You were hired for 12 visits in 72 hours. 4 times a day. I am glad you visited that many times that is what I asked for and paid for It is sad the owners decided to answer so petty and lie about what happened but you can judge by that alone. —— I can't fit my whole review in here, (the full review is on Angies list) basically I have used this company since 2016 and it's been awesome but my sitter is no longer with them and they gave me another woman who either is afraid of dogs or does not like them, she would not touch/pet/hold the dogs. She could not figure out basic instructions of how to close a gate or where the dog food is kept. (She fed my dog the wrong food) for one potty break visit the camera in the house does not show her even taken them outside. She will not work with skittish animals to get them used to her over all the whole event was a disaster. I came home after being out of state at a memorial service for a family member to a smelly house (the puppy pads were not changed and cat pee on the ground) and half a bag of dog food I had bought to test allergies in one of my dogs gone because the other dog was fed the wrong food. The owner of the company took over the care of my pets after initial problems with my assigned sitter but by that point everything was spiraling down hill.

The petsitter was great. She came over to meet everyone before we left for our trip. While we were gone she took great care of my fur babies and was very communicative the whole time. Any time I had a question she responded right away! I definitely recommend Paws Pet Care.

We have been using Paws for about a year and a half now, and we have been very pleased. Both of the sitters we have used have been wonderful! Our cats are very well taken care of, and the extras like taking in the mail are much appreciated! It is great peace of mind to know our pets and home are in great and caring hands.

Paws Pet Care has an awesome service and Debi (our pet sitter) did a fantastic job in taking care of our little kitties. We moved to Louisville about 2 years ago with no friends or family nearby. And still hadn't developed any close friends that we'd feel comfortable leaving our precious cats. But we needed a family vacation and looked to Paws Pet Care for help. We were very worried about leaving anyone, especially anyone we didn't know with our home and our cats. But Debi helped in making our first trip a real vacation. She provided pictures with a report every day as well as doing all the basics of cleaning the litter, filling the food bowls and water. She even picked up some treats that we ran out of. It was a great experience and won't have any worries about calling on Paws Pet Care with Debi on our next vacation.

I can't say enough about Paws Pet Care! We were hesitant to leave our pups since we never have for as long as a week. We met Jill and knew immediately they would be loved. She was perfect! Texted pictures every day along with videos and commentary. She took care of my little vegetable garden and cleaned up a few accidents that the pups had due to being stressed from storms. Jill was so wonderful, it's hard to convey how much she eased our minds. Also Kristina was wonderful making sure we were set up on the schedule that was best for our babies. I want to THANK YOU so much for being so wonderful and loving our pets as much as we do!

Thoroughly impressed! My puppy stayed with all the sweet caregivers at the pet station for 9 days and I can say, I don’t think he wanted to come home. He was very well taken care of, loved the daily photos, the text line for questions and they were quick to provide updates and suggestions on any additional activities. They stayed on the feed schedule for our boy and he was well loved. Couldn’t ask for anything more. We will be using them again!

I would absolutely recommend Pet Station to everyone! I got pictures every day, sometimes twice a day. I got updates on how he was doing, and if I had any questions the response time over text was within minutes. I love the add ons, we chose to alternate between the nature walk, outside play time, and pool time…pretty sure pool time was his favorite. We added a grooming for his last day/pick up day, and he looks great. Safe to say we’ll only be boarding with Pet Station from now on!

We love this place!! They take excellent care of our dog! We travel a lot so he is a regular at Pet Station. He is a lover of all water but loves to swim at Pet Station. Thank you all for taking such wonderful care of our crazy water dog!!

The entire staff was so kind and sweet to our two poodles. This was our first time boarding them and they were treated so well and were very happy here. We also got cute photos every day! Even when we had an issue last min before we took the dogs in the team there was understanding and so helpful. Could not be more pleased!

First time using the location, groomer. Took my toy poodles and provided instruction to the groomer prior to leaving them. Added these are trail dogs so please don’t use a poodle cut. Upon picking them up, noted dogs paws have been trimmed down so that nails are showing. Groomer apologized. Nothing can be done now; hair will grow back. Kiddos to groomer for telling me one of my dogs ears was cut during grooming. Upon me asking, groomer showed me the cut and answered how he had treated it. Photo was taken should anything come from this. Appreciate the groomers honesty. After leaving establishment, noted one dog has much hair still in her ears that should have plucked. Very disappointed about lack of completeness with groom.

I have been a customer at the Pet Station for about 8 years. Stacy has been my groomer with 2 dogs for most of that time. She is excellent in her grooming skills as well as her kindness and patience with my dogs. She is never too busy to talk with me and always personable and has a happy delightful personality. The staff always greets us warmly and bend over backwards to ensure our needs are addressed. I would definitely recommend them. You can trust that they will take good care of your dog. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We LOVE bringing our dog to Pet Station. The team is so caring and fun with the dogs, I appreciate that they separate them by energy level and that they have dedicated play areas they rotate through, and the daily videos and pictures ease my mind but also let me see how she plays with other dogs since we have no others in our home. So happy to have found this spot for her!

The BEST place for your four-legged fur babies. Left my two babies there while we went on vacation and I never felt nervous! They updated me every day with the most adorable photos and answered any questions I had at any time. They’re phenomenal!!!

We love The Pet Station - Murphy Lane! Our dogs both go sometimes for Uno Care, and as soon as I pack up their bag for the day, they are jumping at me to leave. The Pet Station treats us and the dogs so great, are so professional and so very kind. They make the process easy and straightforward from drop off to pick up and the dogs come home happy and so exhausted each time they go. The facility is so clean and nice. On Halloween, they had a special event and included a little favor bag with toy and treat as well as a paw print Halloween card of each dog for us. It was so cute! Cannot recommend this place enough! Both of our dogs highly recommend two paws each!

My dog Banjo loves Dogtopia. He always has a blast there and when he comes home he passes out for hours. The staff is incredibly nice, understanding, and super knowledgeable. Banjo also loves one of the upfront girls who has all the tattoos, she’s so sweet to him. 11/10 would recommend.

Amazing place for daycare and boarding for my pup Baxter! I always see him having an awesome time on the cameras, and his socialization with other people and dogs is growing. So far we try to do daycare once a week, and we've boarded one time for a little under a week. The experience has been great so far. We will definitely continue to use their services!

I absolutely love Dogtopia. My pup starts barking and wagging her tail when we pull in. They treat her so well - the entire staff is just amazing. They also have very reasonable grooming and boarding rates. I have boarded her there and am so pleased they have Sunday pick up/drop off. I won't take my pup anywhere else!

My sweet baby Whiskey had his first day this week and it was the first time he left anywhere without trying to RUN away. We leave the vet, and he is scrambling trying to get into the car and get home. He was happy and excited but didn't seem panicked to escape. We're planning to send him about once a week when we're both in the office. I am looking forward to him having a place where he feels safe to both play and rest. Also looking forward to having a place that we can board him if needed, where he has already established a safe relationship. We would do anything for this pup and so happy he seemed to enjoy himself.

My dog was injured while at Dogtopia. The staff could not explain how it occurred. The staff then proceeded to make up other excuses as to what might have happened (either you know or you don’t). The staff was very rude when I dropped my dog off and when I picked him up. Im so disappointed- this place has always been great in the past… What has happened? What happened to the fun loving staff that I had became a custom to?

Our family loves Dogtopia and we can’t recommend them enough. They treat our corgi, Stevie, like a queen. She adores the team and her canine coaches just as much as they love her. She looks forward to going to “school” throughout the week. We can’t thank Dogtopia enough for taking great care of our girl!

One of the best places you can take your fur babies! The owners are very nice and extremely responsive. The employees welcome you with open arms and are very professional and kind. They give you the confidence that your pet is in the best care and have proven that to be true. Traveling from out of town I was skeptical on how my pup would react being in a new place especially after traveling, but she had the time of her life. I highly recommend Dogtopia, there is no place like it! 🫶🏽

We moved away and have had no luck in Florida coming close to the quality of care we have received both with doggy daycare and boarding here. Our dog runs in the door each time she arrives and considers it her second home. It has been so good to be back in KY for 2 weeks and to take advantage of such high quality care. Our dog comes home happy and and well socialized. Amazing professional and caring staff work there! And the price is so affordable with consistent and generous hours. Look no further than Barks on Bauer! We hate to go home.

The owner and staff are amazing! They care about our dog as if she is their own. They are thorough in working with vets to get needed records, great at creating a safe, clean, fun, stimulating atmosphere , and always available to answer any needed questions. I have worked with several doggy daycares, private and big box. Barks on Bauer is hands down the best one!

I cannot say enough kind words about Barks. I’ve been taking my dog Potter here for almost 3 years since I rescued him as a puppy. I travel a lot, and this is the only place I’d trust with my dog. He is always so excited to go here and runs directly to the door when I drop him off. It makes me so happy to be able to leave him somewhere that I know he loves when I go out of town!

I was in a pinch for a quick-sitter for my pooch over the weekend and this place was a godsend. Staff was super chill, worked with me on a funky time slot when nobody else would squeeze me in. The in-house boarding/kennel area is spacious with plenty of sunlight and warm air -- nice setup! (I hate leaving my baby in the concrete cells and dingy cages all-too-common back home.) You can tell these people love dogs. Very reasonable rates and easy to communicate with. If I'm in town and need a sitter again I won't be looking anywhere else.

Barks on Bauer was an amazing daycare for our 4-year-old lab/shepherd mix. We took him 2-3x a week for 2 years and he was always excited to go and exhausted from a day full of playing with pals! We recently moved away from Louisville and are so bummed we can't take him there anymore!! Would leave Moose with Bill and the rest of the staff any day. Thanks for a great 2 years Barks on Bauer!

Barks is a gem in the Louisville area. They will love and care for your dogs like family. You will not find a better daycare and boarding situation for your fur babies. We relocated to Atlanta and we haven't yet found a comparable place for our pets. We miss Barks on Bauer!

I wasn’t going to leave a comment until the business accused me of leaving a “fake review”. I gave one stat because when calling to inquire about daycare for my GSD I was told they don’t take that breed because others have been aggressive. This is the craziest thing I’ve ever heard. My dog has been going to daycare in Daytona for 3 years, since he was 9 months old, and has NEVER had an issue. I’ve never heard of a place banning certain breeds and I think it’s poor business practice. So this is in fact NOT a fake review.

Our rescue dog Zep had a great time staying overnight with Bill and Barks on Bauer. I found Barks thanks to a google search when we needed last minute dog care due to a death in the family. Bill was wonderful and reassuring when I dropped my dog off. The online portal allowed for easy booking and paying. Zep had a blast during his overnight stay and I was even able to have his nails cut while he was there! Bill sent me updates during the day and gave me some more info when I picked Zep up including better info on how our newish dog interacted with others which provided me with great info for our upcoming obedience training. I will definitely continue to use Barks for socialization for daycare and overnight as needed.

Barks on Bauer is the best place for doggie daycare in St. Matthews. Others may be good, but Lynda and Bill at Barks on Bauer really excel, and go the extra mile. Our greyhound and Boston terrier really love going there! Highly recommend!

Judging by how excited my dog is to go to group play every week, I gotta say this place is great! I love the themed daycare days and every employee I’ve met has been lovely. We’ve used PetSuites a few times for trips and he was definitely in good hands.

First time boarding here. The staff was very helpful and put us at ease. Web cams were great. Staff was attentive and they kept the facility clean. Our pups enjoyed their stay. We will be back.

The Pet Suites staff continue to be very friendly and helpful with any questions I have. The staff appear to go above and beyond to take care of the animals there, and ensure they have a great stay. Our dog is always excited when we are going in, and all smiles coming out. My only reason for a 4 star vs 5 (although I’d give 4.8 if I could) is purely bc of the price per day. They are still unmatched in terms of quality and care elsewherr, just unfortunate the prices consistently go up year over year with minimal changes in the full experience. I would highly recommend Pet Suites to all my friends and family.

My experience with the staff was positive, however, the two times my dog came for daycare, he came home with injuries/bites on his face, nose and ears that were all bleeding. Each time I was told he was just enjoying play or playing with a puppy that plays rough, but I feel someone should have been supervising and intervened before multiple injuries are sustained in one day AND should have notified me, but both times, I noticed these injuries after loading him in the car to go home. Dogs who are known to bite and cause these injuries should not be welcomed in a group play setting. I understand, things can happen, but being 2/2 has made me uneasy about him returning to this location. I was going to give this day care a try one more time, but ultimately decided the injuries aren't worth the risk. I would suggest video cameras for the parents to check in on their pets or watch back when incidents like this occur.

We have only ever used Petsuites for our dog's grooming - and we have nothing but great things to say! Drew does an amazing job every time and always very happy to see our dog, Pierre. I highly recommend her for your dog's next groom!

We recently moved to Louisville and needed a place for our two Goldendoodle puppies to stay for a long weekend. I walked in and the girl behind the desk was very friendly explaining all the different options that we had for the two puppies to stay together. She offered to give me a tour right there on the spot which I accepted! I got to see where the dogs go for daycare after they’re evaluated and the different options for boarding. Pet suites Middletown has very friendly and helpful employees and the whole facility was very clean. They stayed there a total of five days and four nights and I got daily updates on there condition and progress in their daycare. When I went to pick up the puppies the employee behind the desk was a different one and very friendly as well…and explained to me what all the charges were. Great first experience… We will continue to take our two puppies there and I would highly recommend this facility.

We love PetSuites Middletown. They treat our pet just like family! Our dog cannot wait to get out of the car when we pull into the parking lot. He cannot wait to see his puppy friends.

Our first time boarding here and it was fantastic from start to finish! We are already booked for another weekend! Such a comforting feeling knowing our dog is being treated so good.

Kat for Grooming!🙌 Kat did an outstanding job with our 2 doodles! Kat is so welcoming and friendly and patient to listen to exactly what my grooming preferences were for each pup. She was so patient with our 28 lb./10 month old Tucker....who was having his very first groom/cut and communicated with me throughout the process, to get my approval if any changes were needed (due to his matting on legs, fear of blow dryer, etc.)! Couldn't be more pleased and thankful to have found Kat! 🐩🐕 ("Krystal" - cream & "Tucker" - the red head;)

PetSuites was the most sociable puppy grooming out of the 5 I spoke to in and around Middletown and Oldham County. The ladies working there were so nice and our puppy Charlie I hope was nice to them! He looks so cute. We'll definitely be taking him back. Fran and Jim Nichols

I loved this place the first time I took my dog there for a one-week stay a year ago, and didn’t even think twice about bringing him back this time. I have no doubt he was taken good care of, but I found that the staff was more attentive last time around. Last year they kept me up to date and sent me pictures, this time I had to reach out a few times to see how he was doing. I know this is not a requirement, but I really appreciated those updates last year and had the same expectation for this time. Maybe it was just a matter of letting us know what we should expect. Would also appreciate clearer guidelines for drop-off/pick-up times. When we went to pick him up the staff was on lunch break, but I didn’t see anywhere in the paperwork that they were closed for lunchtime. Overall I think it’s a great place for boarding and I am very grateful for what the Kentucky Humane Society does.

My dog stayed here for about a week and it was not a good experience. The staff seemed unprofessional and disorganized. My dog is very social and goes to daycare regularly but they told me she didn’t pass the daycare evaluation. When I asked for more details they couldn’t tell me why and different staff members told me different things. I had to call and ask them for updates on my dog. Her blanket and toys came back covered in urine and she immediately pooped when we left boarding.

I think there have been some disappointing changes with new staff at this location. I’ve taken my dogs to this location for almost three years and it’s always been lovely! One of my pups is pretty reactive, and the other is often anxious. The staff would work with our dogs, take the time to carefully approach and make them comfortable when they were nervous, etc. and it has helped tremendously! I mentioned that one of my dogs is reactive and barks a whole lot while he’s on leash. The time before this last visit, a staff member took extra care to sit with him and help him in doggy daycare, and came out when i was picking him up to tell me how great he had done and how he was welcome back at daycare anytime! So it was especially disappointing to come back to this location a month later to all unfamiliar faces and surprise re-evaluations that both of my pups failed. My reactive dog, the one “welcome back anytime”, was permanently banned from daycare because his ears were back and at one point his hackles were raised, which they marked as aggression. I understand wanting to be careful and selective, and being cautious around dogs who are new to you (especially loud ones with big feelings) but such a drastic shift after such a long time makes me wonder about extenuating circumstances, and perhaps about the mood and patience of the staff members doing the evaluations. When i was picking them up, the staff member explaining their decision was either unable to provide more detail about what had happened. I wasn’t combative: i recognize that my dog has behavioral issues that we have been working through, and that “he’s never been aggressive before” doesn’t hold much water! I asked for advice on working with my reactive dog to get him better ready for daycares elsewhere (since by all accounts previously i thought the work I’d been doing with him was demonstrably helping) and she handed me a training pamphlet and said “I’m not sure how much it is: I’ve never needed it” in a tone that i tried not to take as too condescending. This happened a while ago, as i waited to leave any kind of review until i thought i could evaluate the situation without being overly emotional. All in all, I’m sad to see big staff changes and will not be back. We’ll miss the people that we knew, but i no longer have confidence that they are the best at recognizing and adapting to different dogs.

Extremely rude staff. Unwelcoming and clearly not prepared to handle dogs when ANY behavioral issues come up. I mean, are these people only prepared to handle military trained dogs? I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It makes me nervous to leave my dog there for anything. I was also told that they *think* my dog was taken out “at least once” during his 6 hour stay there. And they even seemed unsure about that. So after completely dropping the ball in customer service, and letting me know they were unable to manage a dog showing signs of anxiety, they could not even assure me that i wasn’t going to discover that my dog has a UTI after spending the day with them.

1st time dropping Floyd my 10 month Golden Doodle off for an overnight stay anywhere. A bit reluctant the staff welcomed Floyd & myself so by the time I finished the paperwork I felt comfortable & Floyd was romping around. Facility was clean & staff professional! KUDOS

My cat Kings stayed for a week and requires multiple medications. The staff is very professional and they were able to assure me Kings medications would be no problem. The staff updated me often with photos and let me know how he was doing. They even let him out to explore the cat room everyday. I will definitely board him here again when we go out of town.

Used to be a great place for boarding, daycare, and grooming. But recently it has gone downhill significantly. My dog has anxiety so I try to not change where I take him, but I’ve decided that I can no longer bring him here. The lack of professionalism and care from the staff makes it hard to trust these people with my dog, I don’t recommend East Point to anyone anymore.

My dog came here a few times for day care. Our experiences were mostly pleasant, however, I still had a lot of questions about when scheduled playtimes, rest times and potty breaks were for my dog. The last time I picked my dog up, he peed a stream down the sidewalk trying to make it to the grass and immediately pooped once we reached the grass. I reached out to Eastpoint to ask about his potty breaks and learned that the dogs are not given any potty breaks during daycare and they just clean up after them inside. My dog is new to our family and is potty training, so besides the mixed messages this gives him that could hinder his progress, I still don't want him holding his pee as long as he can throughout the day. We ultimately decided this wasn't the best fit for my dog, however, I wouldn't leave any dog at any day care where potty breaks aren't given. I still support the humane society and appreciate all they do, but I would not recommend this day care facility.

My dog is groomed and boarded here. She loves to come which is a statement in itself. The staff is kind and friendly, feel like we are in good hands! Great communication with staff.

Our Dog had terrible anxiety. Eastpoint Pet Resort was able to make her comfortable and feel loved by everyone. They truly made her feel at home. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them and will continue to use their services.

This was our first time with The Highland Dog. It was also the first time we had left Harley for so long, 7 nights. They took great care of him and we are pleased. He got to socialize with big and little dogs under supervision and all indications are that he had a good experience. They bathed him before we picked him up too. We and Harley will be back.

This is the first place we've trusted to keep our girl outside friends and family. They clearly love all the dogs and take such good care of them. My anxious pup had a great time.

The Highland Dog is really a special place for Dogs!! They cater to the individual needs of each dog that comes to board and the dogs that come daily for Doggy Daycare. I had the pleasure of meeting Jenna and she showed me around and I’m throughly Impressed by her and this establishment. I needed a last minute dog sitter for my senior dog, Penny. The standards I have for a pet sitter are extremely high as this pup might as well be my child. Usually, I pay someone to stay in the house with her when I travel. In the past other boarding facilities have left her stressed. Due to this being a last minute trip I took a chance on the Highland dog. I am SO HAPPY to have found them! The team was extremely professional and took fantastic care of her. When I picked her up she was well groomed and very happy. I can tell she had fun interacting with the other dogs and got plenty of attention! The team went above and beyond in many ways. They added beef broth to her food so she would eat. They happily gave me updates whenever I called. Someone even helped me take her larger items back to the car during pickup! Thank you Highland Dog Team! You have a new loyal customer .

Had an amazing experience with The Highland Dog! I searched in Louisville for dog daycare, to have a little break from the dogs for my mother and I to enjoy the city pup free, & calling around other businesses, my mom & I felt more at home & comfortable with choosing The Highland Dog. Judy the owner called me to follow up on a few requests I had, and she informed us that wouldn't be a problem at all to accommodate the dogs according to their needs! Without her even saying it, I already knew they would be in great hands because of her understanding & caring nature. Initially when I called & spoke with Sharon, she was so informative on the pricing, the shot records being a must, & hour of operation to bring the dogs! Made it a breeze to do business with them. Was able to print out the application & get the shot records sent over prior to arriving! So when we brought the dogs Raven was so kind while asking a few simple questions about the dogs & took no more than a few minutes to do the transition & they were gone already in great caring hands & having a good time with the other dogs at the daycare! Doggie daycare is more like a summer camp for them! They get to be away from home, hang out with new pals, be supervised, and have some freedom that they don't have at home! Makes us happy as pet owners to see our dogs happy and excited for something new! Very satisfied with our experience & can't wait to bring the dogs back here again when we're in town!!

The Highland Dog takes the best care of my dogs. The entire staff is wonderful, and my dogs are the happiest when I pick them up. I don't take them often, which is why it's even more impressive that the staff remembers my dogs and what they like and need. I love seeing the pictures they post everyday, and when I'm away for a few days at a time I love being able to check in on them and see that they're doing well 😄

My 3/1/2 year old standard poodle had never been boarded and had little experience with other dogs when we were called out of town for urgent grandparent duty. Highland dog not only accommodated the short notice, they assured me they could handle introducing my dog to new friends. After a sniff and greet visit, I left my companion in capable hands. We grandparented worry free after seeing our dog on Facebook every day interacting with other buddies. Plan to use them again and use the daycare option too. Great experience for all.

We can't say enough great things about The Highland Dog and always board our dogs there when leaving town. They love our dogs as much as we do and some days I think my dogs love them more than us! The TLC and professionalism The Highland Dog provides is above and beyond and we are thankful to have a safe, caring space for our dogs to go while we are gone where they will get the attention they need and make some fun dog friends along the way.
