Sofia and Nicole were excellent sitters to our 2 playful cats (an adult tabby and a BIG Maine coon kitten). They gave us a couple updates daily with pictures, as we requested. They were easy to communicate with before and throughout the entire sit. When we came home, our apartment was tidy (probably neater than we left it!) and our cats were relaxed and happy. They were also kind enough to leave us with some sweet bandanas for our boys. We were super pleased with the quality of care, and would happily recommend Sofia and Nicole to anyone in need of a pet or house sitter!

It was my first time using zeewoi so I was slightly apprehensive, but as soon as I heard from Kendra I knew both my cat and my apartment would be in safe hands. Kendra was great with communicating and coming back quickly, very friendly and clearly experienced with sitter jobs. Whilst staying at my place she sent me regular updates. Once I returned home the flat was spotless. I would highly recommend Kendra and I would certainly use her again. She’s great!

We were very lucky to have had Nia for our recent house sit. She communicated well before the sit and arrived as planned. We shared a meal before we left which gave us time to get to know her and tell her about the house and our pets.
After we left it soon became clear the cats loved Nia and the attention she gave them. We were kept informed throughout her stay with regular updates and video clips of what they were up to and how the garden was growing etc.
We highly recommend Nia as a pet/house sitter and we would certainly have her back should the opportunity arise.

Stefany helped me out big time by stepping in when I asked.  She's a local sitter and I wasnt' having any responses so I contacted her and she fit me into her schedule even during the holidays and right after another sit across the country.   She took great care of my two cats and home and I very much appreciate it!

Kira was the best sitter we have ever had!  I chose Kira because of her reviews, ability to sit during the dates I needed and willingness to communicate with my daughter/neighbor who co-parents Colby with us.
I am always a bit anxious about having someone in my home and trusting them with our fluffy son. Kira put us at ease almost immediately.  I received photos and videos everyday throughout the stay. I got updates on Colby’s activity and the fun they were having together. My heart felt full knowing that Colby was being well loved and cared for.  Additionally, Kira was so kind to keep us posted on any deliveries that arrived at the house. 
Finally, when I arrived home, the house was tidy and clean! 
Again, I am so grateful that Kira was there keeping the house and my cat safe! I hope she will come back and sit again. I know Colby would love to see her again.

Sabre is a sweet, honest person who stepped up at the very last moment (after the prior sitter flaked out) to watch our dog and cat for 17 days. When there were a couple minor accidents, she informed us of them right away. One involved a burnt pan (easy to do if you’re not familiar with an induction stovetop) which she offered to replace. 
   Sabre also washed the towels and sheets, and made up the bed before we got home. The yard was pooper scooped and litter box was clean. Pets seemed well-cared for.
   When she had to leave town for several hours one day, she made sure to arrange for our neighbor take care of the pets.
   Additionally, I appreciated how she didn’t assume that it would be ok to bring her cat. When we found out she was going to keep her cat in a kennel during her stay here, we told her she could bring him which worked out fine. 
   Overall, I would confidently recommend Sabre to watch your pets and house.

Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for.
Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just  as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay.
Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day.
Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well!
Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement.
Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend!

Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. 

A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. 

Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. 

Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash  their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. 

We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Elyse was one of the best pet sitters we've ever met! Couldn't recommend her more. We hope she stays at our place again. She sent many pictures of our beloved cats throughout our absence. We returned to our cats seeming relaxed and happy as ever. She also left our apartment sparkling clean. 10/10 :)

If Macie and Roman ever apply to your post for a house or pet sit, I strongly encourage you to jump at the. offer. You will not be disappointed. They are among the top (if not the top) sitter I've ever had and I've been on this site for years. Primarily, they are very organized. In the weeks and days leading up to the sit, Macie and Roman kept me abreast of their plans and status. I felt very comfortable in the days leading up to the sit
because I knew the plan we made to exchange the keys and walk them through the instructions would work as planned.

Second, Macie and Roman really care. When they got to my apartment after a very long morning of traveling, I explained the care instructions and they were very attentive and cared about the details - asking very specific questions on how to care for my cat and apartment. I had some pretty specific rules about how to feed my cat and take care of him and Macie and Roman followed those exactly.

Third, Macie and Roman make you feel comfortable while you are away. I got daily or twice daily updates about my cat. I got pictures which made me feel like my cat was having a good time. My cat came out of hiding very quickly and was snuggling with them and letting them hold him. It was so nice to see the pictures of them all bonding! Macie and Roman have a calming energy towards animals for sure! Macie and Roman were also very responsive when I reached out
first - replying within 30 minutes. I really
appreciated that.

Fourth, Roman and Macie will take good care of your apartment/house. I came back to a SPOTLESS apartment. The towels were washed. The apartment had been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The dishwasher had been run. Everything was in its place when I returned. Honestly, cleaner than when I left it which is difficult since I am a very clean person. Macie and Roman
also respects your property. We had a room we asked them not to enter and they respected that.
