Cat Sitters in Morden

I tried to board my puppy here and was very excited for her to be able to play with other pups and have her own vacation! We understood that we wouldn’t be able to board our dog without getting her fixed. We got an appointment to get her fixed about a week and a half before bringing her. Unfortunately, our dog went into heat the day before our appointment and we had to cancel our surgery appointment and our boarding. I emailed the owner of country lane kennels letting her know we would have to cancel and her response was very unprofessional. Due to this I wouldn’t trust my dog with this boarder and would find another place. I am very disappointed because I have heard good things about this kennel and it was closer to where we live than other boarders. I have tried to add photo evidence of our conversation but it has come to my attention that I am unable to. If you would like further proof, you can email me. I was not dishonest about my dogs age. I first emailed and asked if they had room for our 7 month old dog on August 03, 2021. At the time of writing, our dog would have been 7 months. She turned 8 months on August 09, 2021 as she was born January 09, 2021 (As I mentioned in the email). Before booking the boarding, I let the owner know that she was not fixed yet and asked if this was a problem. The owner told me that she would not board her until our dog was fixed. We then made an appointment to fix our dog and asked the boarding owner if the date of her surgery appointment would be okay for boarding her. The owner said yes. We let the owner know today that our dog was now in heat and that we would have to cancel our appointment to fix her and that we wouldn't be able to board because of this. The owner responded with: "Yup cancelled. This is exactly why I don't mess around with this. Fixed before 6 months, makes life so much simpler for everyone including her! ..." I then responded with "Sorry, I don't normally say anything but your response has taken be back a little. We were told by our vet not to get her fixed until she was older. Thanks for replying so quickly, but we will be finding another boarder for our pup in the future." I was just surprised by her abrasiveness and customer service. However, what did prompt me to write a review is her response to my last reply. The owner then responded with this "Obviously your vet was wrong because as I said weeks ago no one really knows when they'll go into heat. I can guarantee I've had pets longer than the vet because six months has been the date for years. This is my fault because I should have just shut it down as soon as I knew she wasn't fixed. I wasted my time and yours... You're right going somewhere else is better for us both as you are obviously too sensitive for me response." I am very unimpressed by this response. 6 months may have been the date for years, however, recent studies have shown that spaying later for large breeds may be better. This may or may not be true, however, I will continue to listen to my vet for things concerning my dog.

I have boarded my dogs there for years, previous and current owners. I feel the experience as of late is bad on the customer side. My issues with the service are irrational reactions to small issues, lack of care about customers, and bad attitude. I won’t return Sheila acts up like a customer can’t be trusted, then when I try to rearrange the stay I get angry reactions over email, try to call she won’t return my calls, then calls and tells me I’m untrustworthy and won’t board my dog. Honesty I forgot about the drop off but her attitude made this experience worse, there are bigger issues going on than boarding my dog but if I tell a business owner I messed up the drop off, could we figure out a solution then won’t answer the phone when I call. She’s lost my respect. She keeps making it out like my dog is the problem, whether trained or not my dog is an animal, she spends her time making excuses for her behaviour, don’t spend your money here, expect disrespect!

Your fur-child never had it so good;) and might not want to come home with you after a stay at Country Lane Kennels. Secure, fenced, spacious dog runs and lots of outdoor playtime during the day. At night, tucked in to a temperature-controlled building. Sheila treats your dog like her own, so whatever the feeding schedule, treat types, medications, and anything else can certainly be part of your dog's care program. Plus super close to Morden and easy to get to. Thank-you, Sheila, for taking such good care of Ruby Tuesday!

Our young husky pup really enjoys going to MCBarn, he absolutely loves Tanis and the other staff, you can tell they have built a rapport with all the animals there. And truly care about and for them. Always taking time to reflect back the experiences shared in our absence. The grounds are beautiful with lots of space in the country for dogs to safely explore and play together. The kennels are clean and spacious. Real Care, my number one choice.

We love bringing our dog to McBarn for regular nails trims and for boarding. They run a very professional and clean facility. Our dogs loves the staff and is always so excited to see them.

Tanis and Sandra provide a safe place for your pets whether it’s for grooming or an overnight stay. My dog loves going there and often doesn’t want to come home! The large park area is her favourite place to explore ❤️

Great place to get your Dog's nails done. If you pay in cash ($10) for trimming nails, there is no tax and the money goes to Humane society. Very professional, accommodative. Lots of space and a very good team.

Tanis and her team are amazing. Our dogs, Sunny and Gracie, love going to McBarn Kennels for grooming and kennelling. They take exceptional care of our girls. Highly, highly recommended!

Left dog there for two weeks and dog looked happy after. Like it. Booked again and happy. It is more expensive then usual but it worth.

She's just good with dogs. And know her stuff. I like bringing my dog to her kennel. Prices are great.

We had our pup Maggie's first groom with Alex and it was spectacular. Although Maggie was slightly nervous being a first timer, the team were calm and accommodating to her and she left looking so wonderful! The whole experience from booking to leaving was amazing with so many sweet little touches, like the welcome board noting Maggie's groom! Shaggy Maggie is looking forward to her next visit.

Dr. Nichols provided outstanding care when my cat developed symptoms of an eye infection in the afternoon. He was the only vet in Brandon who could see us on the same day (I called all of them…). He thoroughly examined and treated my cat, flushing his eye and giving us the right medication. His expertise and willingness to help were greatly appreciated. Highly recommend for urgent veterinary needs!

Everyone at the Paw has been awesome to our dogs, always friendly and supportive. The dogs LOVE hanging out and playing with everyone and get very excited when we turn up the drive. We are very lucky to have the facility and caring staff for our pups!!

So lucky to have the multi-service The Paw Resort in our city! Our Tipper is able to board when needed and ADORES the engaging activities offered in daily playcare. She has groom & de-shed appointments every 60 days and the friendly staff keep her coat healthy and looking great. She even got her photo taken with Santa there! We are always treated royally at The Paw 👑!

I have taken my corgi to The Paw for just over 7 years. I have always left with a happy and well groomed dog. I trust the team whole heartedly and would recommend anyone take their animals there. Mine is a bit of a brat when it comes to his nails and they always do an amazing job.

We use the Paw to board our dog and she loves it. We’ve done a few longer stays (up to 12 days) over the past few years and we know we can trust them with keeping her looked after, safe and happy. You can add on nail trims, grooming etc as well as many a la carte options. We really like how they have play care as our dog loves to socialize with other dogs and we know it can be done here in a safe environment. We can’t recommend them enough. Thank you!

My mom Terri (who doesn’t have a Gmail account to leave a review) called late Sunday afternoon because her senior cat was quite sick. Dr. Nichols called her back right away and told her to bring the cat down. He was able to assure her that her cat was okay for the time being and to get him to his regular vet the following day for a more thorough look into what was going on. The Pawresort is a favourite of mine. All the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. It is a beautiful location and has a lot of dog-friendly features. I’ve taken my dog here for grooming a number of times and she always looks great! She’s also very well cared for during her visit and the staff works hard to make sure she’s comfortable.

We recently got a standard schnauzer puppy. We’ve been taking him to puppy and fundamental classes - and it’s been fun for everyone and we learn very useful tools for training him to be a nice family pet. We also utilize playcare - which has been a lifesaver for all of us! We have piece of mind knowing he’s in a supervised playgroup burning off energy and learning how to play with other puppies. He comes home tired, never smelly and they send us adorable photos of him with his new friends! I don’t know how they do it - but the staff is amazing! Thank you for taking such good care of our little man! We would not go anywhere else!

I can’t say enough good things about Tami and her team! My husband and I were in town for a conference and needed a daycare solution for our chihuahua. Tami is so warm and friendly, and you can tell she is just an expert with dogs ! She even went above and beyond and got us a solution for daycare when one of the conference days fell on a holiday. We felt so good knowing our boy was in good hands.

The groomer did a fantastic job and exceeded our expectations. The staff is friendly and truly enjoy working with animals

Thor absolutely loves going to Friends fur Life. He always has a big smile on his face when he is dropped off and come home exhausted from playing all day.

Our Bobbi went to get her nails done today and has an appointment for spa day in February. Let's just say that Bobbi is not a fan of having her nails done but today she made a friend in Kayden. My first service with Friends Fur Life today was a nail trim for my pup with Kaden. My pup is anxious and hates having his feet touched. Kaden handled him so kindly and confidently and did a fantastic job trimming him up! Booking the appointment online was easy, Kaden was friendly, understanding, and accommodating and the price is on par with other groomers. 100% will return again. Excellent facility, Tami!

We needed a place for our dogs as we were travelling to nearby Oak Lake for a family gathering. The owner was super accommodating. The dogs had such a fun time and were well cared for. We were so impressed we brought them back for a second day so we could visit a The Daly House museum in Brandon. Staff is great and they really made the dogs feel at home.

I can not say enough amazing things about Friends Fur Life! Tammy (and her wonderful staff) treat every single customer and pup like family and its incredible. They go out of their way to do the absolute most for your fur baby! My little girl has been going full-time for months now and I cant imagine what I would do without them <3 very grateful and appreciate for everything they do. If you haven't checked them out yet PLEASE do, your fur baby will be right at home

I would like to give heads up that the one review on here from Jenn Orr is false.she signed a contract with my company and in the contract it said that clients will receive only half deposit back which I offered her credit for the other half and she did not want to take it.she gave me no notice she cancelled. I do ask a non refundable deposit to secure the people spots. I run a license bonded and insured company and I’m professional and I treat clients and there pets with respect.the accusation that she made is false and very ignorant.I have contact her and told her to remove this false review.i have also reported her to Google about this false review. I've known the owner of K9's Kitties & Kritters Pet Sitting since we needed her services while on holiday 15 years ago, and have since been looking after our pets when ever we need her. Even the cat who doesn't like strangers in his house, loves her. She is good with our cats, dogs, parrot & fish and I know everyone will be in great hands while we are away.

My dogs.love when Debbie comes over. I have been using K9 for over two years and I can say that my dogs have been well cared for every visit.

She asked for %100 of the money up front, then refused to refund it when the trip was cancelled (due to a major storm).

It was great to have someone reliable and secure looking after our home and loved ones thank youon

I arrived and while approaching the doors a staff member barked at me to get my dog on a leash I did comply in the parking area. She continued to aggressively engage in berating me regarding their rules and leash laws (Hanover municipal area) (ruraly located) I told her to settle down and that my dog was under control. This person then left in a vehicle and did not identify themself as staff. I asked the male desk person if the lady was an employee which he said no. When I returned to pick up my dog the two female staff decided to confront me. They were not truthful in their versions of what had occurred and had acted intentionally slow in giving me my dog back. I had already paid and had to demand his return or I would go back and get him myself. They are antagonists and bullies and need a lesson in customer service and courtesy. When I said I would never return they said good. And did a smart aleck have a nice day with extra sass when I left. Do not use them is my two cents. With a little courtesy they could have explained their reason when it originally happened but instead chose to act as authoritarian bullies. They escalated the situation.

New owner, staff and policies, it shows. Been bringing our dog there for 5 years, after today I will never be coming back. Hope the new owner has deep pockets because I can see them losing a lot of long time customers if the new staff stays.

My 3 dogs just spent almost 2 weeks at Clearsprings kennel for boarding. My dogs are my whole world. The staff was so great and exceeded my hopes of how their stay would go. My crew all together can be alot of dog and they were great with them! I am so grateful

Very impressed with the service and they were exceptional to take my dog on short notice as we were visiting Manitoba from Ontario and they were so accommodating. My Dog normally can be a little anxious when leaving him at new places but he seemed to do well, had no issues with him after picking him up after boarding him for 3 nights. I would highly recommend Clearspring Kennels. Great Staff very helpful! Overall Very Impressed!! If I were to go back to Manitoba i would definitely book a few nights stay for my dog.

Boarded my dog here over Christmas. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They allowed me to bring personal items and we're happy to feed my dog raw even with all my instructions. They sent photos and gave me updates.

More expensive than our other boarding option and our dog came home sick. Wouldnt eat and had the squirts in our house the very next day. They do offer other services which was handy as we got our dog washed at the same time

I brought my 4 month old puppy here for daycare for the first time. they took such amazing care of him! they give a report card when you pick up your pup and it says how/what they did on that day. i would highly recommend bringing your dog here. Juno came back tired and happy, he will definitely come back again!

Seemed like a nice place. Pricey and they don't allow you to pick up your pets on Sundays or Stat holidays, no exceptions. Therefore we had to keep our dogs there 2 extra days and take a day off work to drive 2 hours each way to get them on a weekday.

Best kennel by far! Amazing staff. It's clear they all love the dogs in their care. Would give 10 stars if possible. Highly recommend.
