It was my first time using zeewoi so I was slightly apprehensive, but as soon as I heard from Kendra I knew both my cat and my apartment would be in safe hands. Kendra was great with communicating and coming back quickly, very friendly and clearly experienced with sitter jobs. Whilst staying at my place she sent me regular updates. Once I returned home the flat was spotless. I would highly recommend Kendra and I would certainly use her again. She’s great!

Julia was an amazing sitter and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From our first contact to when we arrived home after our trip, communication was excellent and we were able to enjoy our time away with complete peace of mind that our pets and our home were in good hands. We particularly appreciated how clean and tidy everything was when we got home with the linens and towels all washed and dried! Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.

Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Ruthee was a fabulous pet sitter for our three cats while we were gone for a month. Prior to the sit, she was consistent and communicative; she even came over early for a meet and greet to learn the routine. During the sit, she took great care of our three cats by playing with them (she made a fun cat toy!), scooping litter, feeding and watering them, and sent us text updates and pictures. We came home to happy fur babies and a clean home. She left the place very tidy which was greatly appreciated! We are so thankful for Ruthee and would recommend her should the opportunity arise. We could not be more grateful to the staff here for taking care of our fur babies. The girls always have a blast, and they’ve been very accommodating when we have had emergencies come up. The dogs get to go out way more often than most places, and we love the individual playtime they get in the separate yards. The staff have been great following our feeding notes, to avoid any allergy issues. I love the pictures I get each day from their daycare, showing the fun they are having. They are always tuckered out when they get home. So so so appreciative to the kind staff here!
Great for our elderly beagle. We look forward to getting his pictures daily when he's boarded here. It's nice to enjoy our vacation knowing our doggo is well looked after and getting his medication while we're gone. Definitely recommend their boarding and daycare.
We recently had to board our German Shepherd while on vacation in Bardstown. The staff at critter cradle are highly professional, and very caring. We received pictures of girl time to time, usually eating or playing with her ball. Thank you to all the staff of CC.
We moved to the area but needed to drop our two pups off a month prior. Amber had great reviews so opted for the off-leash training. It was tough being without our pups for a month, BUT... well worth it! Amber and her staff did an amazing job for the month they were there. They both now have a great foundation for commands and respond great. We received several photos everyday along with a few progression videos. They were very accommodating for diets and individual habits. Maddi is a newer trainer and also did a great job with training our pups. We will be dropping our pups off for any future time away. I highly recommend The Critter Cradle.
The Critter Cradle is amazing.. it's the only place we take all 4 ( yes we have four dog's!) When we travel and we travel quite a bit during the year! You can tell they honestly love their jobs and my pet's are always excited when we drop them off. The staff is loving and caring. What I love most is they send you pictures about twice a day of your fur babies to let you know their doing well .. I can go on and on about how wonderful they are! I have posted a few pictures they sent us while we were on a recent trip
Cheap prices for caring and taking care of our 2 pups while we went to Heaven Hill, who do not allow dogs unfortunately. Highly recommend them for day care.

This is an awesome family run pet daycare. They give a paper per day detailing what the pets day consisted of along with texting pictures of the pet while in their care. They also offer grooming and level one obedience classes.
Always very friendly and have taken our dogs there for the last 3 years multiple times a year. Your dog is taken outside 5-6 times a day to run around in the fenced area. They send you pics of your dog twice a day and their prices are very much in line for the area.
I am only giving 2 stars because my dog seemed to like the groomers (when they were available) and they did a pretty decent job when they were there. However - The groomers are HORRIBLE communicators and very unprofessional. We have tried two groomers now. The first one was wonderful with our nervous dog so we were happy. Then, she started taking at least a month to respond & get back with us. I tried calling to book an appointment with her but the front desk always wanted me to reach out myself directly to the groomer, but I never got responses which was frustrating. Also - this groomer would just leave at our scheduled appointment time sometimes to pick up her children when my dog should’ve been getting his grooming and we would have to wait. (Very unprofessional) The second groomer we tried responds immediately and books appointments which we thought was great. However, we have now shown up TWICE on time to our appointment and our groomer is not there and won’t answer her phone calls. We waited on her 30 minutes after our appointment time the first time, the second time she didn’t answer her phone and never showed up so we left and never got an apology for the inconvenience or anything. Not acceptable to happen two times in a row. We have now found a better organized groomer and will not be back.

They didnt do as,I,ask to cut my Sheltie. I wanted a Sheltie cut. He comes out shaved. Thats the 2nd time this,has happened. Plus they cut his,side pretty good with clippers. I have pics. They,are reasonable and friendly. Hes been going there awhile. But i dont like his hair cut short. It takes forever to grow back. I shouldnt have paid for it, but i did. We took our 2 Golden Retrievers to Dee’s today for the first time and our experience was great! They have fast availability and are super friendly! I really appreciate the text reminders. Our dogs were done in 2 hours and well taken care of. (unlike other local groomers where our dogs have been in a small cage together for 5+ hours.) Pics are from us taking them to the dog park right after to burn off some energy, but I must say they weren’t stressed at all when we picked them up. Like many small local businesses, you can avoid paying processing fees if you pay cash 😊 Dee really seemed to know what she was talking about when it came to shaping them, and I could see how she cared for all of the dogs
EDIT: She edited her comment 3X and now claiming she spoke to her groomer and they never groomed my dog. She will flat out lie about grooming your dog and not take credit for her work. (Uploaded transaction😅) Very disappointed. We’re local and decided to make an appt for our husky for a deshedding. We were charged $70 before the tip (which I wouldn’t mind if this had been done correctly) Two days later, this was our situation…. Worst grooming we’ve ever experienced. Complete waste of $. If you have a long haired dog, steer clear.
Dee has been grooming my Ferbie since she opened her first shop on Jones Ave. I will not let anyone else groom her. Dee is loving and gentle and really cares about the animals she grooms. Her shop is spotless and her grooming skills are on point.
Upon picking up my dog, I noticed she was limping when I brought her to my truck (she was not limping when I dropped her off). I immediately took her back in to the facility for Dee to assess. Dee did not seem to think anything was wrong. I gave my dog 2 days of rest/limitation (per Dees advice) before taking her to the vet, in hopes that she would heal without intervention. After taking her to the vet, I was informed that she suffered 2 hairline fractures to her middle paw. The vet said that this was probably caused by her paw being crushed by a cage or being stepped on. The initials bill was $270. My dog will have to be in a splint/cast for 4-6 weeks, with weekly check-ups. I asked Dee to meet me halfway and cover half of the initial bill, which would’ve only been $135. ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY FIVE DOLLARS! She stated that she “reviewed the camera footage and didn’t see any signs of injury” during my dogs stay and would not cover half the bill. Again, I reiterate that my dog WAS NOT limping upon arrival to this facility. So I have had to cover all of my dogs medical bills, along with all the weekly check ups, following the injury the occurred at this facility without any help from Dee. So if your dog sustains any injures at this establishment, you will be liable for covering the medical bills without any help. I will not be taking my dogs back to this establishment. Proceed with caution.
I took my baby to get a full groom and couldn’t have been happier with how she looked. If you’re looking for a groomer I highly recommend this place!! I’m very picky and they went above and beyond to meet my needs. I will definitely be a returning customer!

Since your replies are turned off and you keep editing your response to something different, Keeley is Justin’s (owner on file) wife. I left a REVIEW of my experience bc that’s what REVIEWS are for. So people don’t waste their time & money. We have been to other groomers many times without having to sweep 3 bags of hair up within 7 days of the grooming. We just thought we would try one closer. If you think that’s a “good job” for $70+ you should rethink your profession. Viewing other negative reviews, it’s clear to me you can’t handle criticism and ALWAYS very argumentative. Good luck with your “business”. I wouldn’t recommend a child taking their stuffed animal to you.
I’m from Alabama and last week I went to Lexington to pick up a puppy. On the way home the puppy had a very, very bad accident. I was frantically trying to find a someone to bath Koda and clean the crate. Everyone was busy or gone for the day. Dee answered and had already left but after hearing the story she turned around and met me at her business. She was fantastic!! Thank you so much for helping me out that day. I really appreciate it!!
It was my Pitts first time and mine at a groomers. Hailey was very professional and did such a great job with my baby. His ears have never looked better! We will definitely be a regular. The price was a lot better than I expected. Very affordable.

Michelle has groomed my Aussiedoodle several times now! She is so good to him! She gives him brakes (he is a nervous guy), plays with him, cuddles him and so much more! She will not over book herself to take extra special care of the fur babies she takes care of! She also boards! Her place is always clean! It has never had a smell or dirty floor any time I have been it! Im a very happy Dog Mom!!
Nobody likes this place or uses them. Read till the end! It’s literally just some dude with no qualifications letting you leave your dog there. Charged me out the butt. The cherry on top, I gave them a full bag of dog food with directions to just give him a couple scoops for the night. But when I went pick him up they said they decided to free feed him and that he ate the whole bag. Hmmm
Absolutely an amazing place that cares about the animals and they do an amazing job! They made my Siberian Husky Rune look like a beautiful princess that she is! Definitely will be back!

We love this kennel. Michelle, the new owner, was so kind and welcoming. We have a puppy that is big and has lots of energy. They were best friends in minutes! Michelle took such good care of the puppy. He was well fed and exercised. Michelle texted me updates about the puppy while we were boarding him. We will definitely be back to board the dogs in the near future!
They treat our dog like their own. Our dog goes to Doggy Daycare twice a week and it’s his favorite place to be! Our dog is a high energy dog and it takes a lot wear him out, but he is always tired and happy every time I pick him up. The staff always go above and beyond when it comes to taking care of and spoiling our dog. I can’t imagine him going anywhere else!
Michelle has treated our dog as if he was her own. We boarded him for vacation and not once did we have to worry if he was getting the best attention and care. We know she loves all the dogs that come in as well as our own. We’ll absolutely be brining him back any time we have to go away for awhile. Thank MJ for such great service and professionalism!
My dogs love staying here. The staff is amazing and take excellent care of them. I never have to worry about my dogs in their care. They love them as if they were a part of their family. Will always continue to have them be my dogs home away from home!
Left our girl there for 6 days. She got a small injury (scrapes on foot) right before we dropped her off and the kennel was absolutely wonderful about it. Kept a close eye on her and treated with ointment. She came home a happy girl. Highly recommend and will use again.

Staff was very friendly. And they did most of the things they said they would. However, they forgot to text me when my dog was ready. So he had to sit up there until I got worried and just showed up. I suppose I could’ve called but I didn’t want to be “that guy”. Also his nails were really uneven and while that is probably just me being a bit picky, one of my girlfriends did a better job at making them even. And she’s not a professional groomer. Also, as soon as I got him home he took like a 5 minute number one, and a big number two. Which made me feel like they didn’t let him out much if at all. And I could be misled there as maybe he didn’t go for them when or if they did let him out. The pricing wasn’t too bad. And he seemed to be in good spirits when I picked him up. Again the staff was super sweet to him so I do appreciate that.

We brought our Australian Shepherd here for the first time and he looked so beautiful and fluffy! Our boy was a stray that we found, so he was pretty dirty. Grooming by Nicole took the best care of him and even sent him home with a cute report card of his day. He looked like a million dollars! The staff was very friendly too. I took my Pomskie to Nicole. He would not allow anyone to touch him. We have been turned down for his aggressive behavior. His fur was a mess. Nicoles did an absolute wonderful job on him. They were so good and he wasn't turned away!!! I'll never go anywhere else. They truly love our pets!!! Thank you
We boarded our 2+ year old male bernedoodle at Nicole's for a week. While he was there, they cleaned him up and trimmed his thick coat. His "suite" was very clean and he seemed to do well there. Rates are very reasonable. Would recommend.

Excellent Experience. We stopped there while visiting Bardstown. The staff here did a FANTASTIC job with the deshedding treatment on my Siberian Husky, as well as our, Chiweenee dog. We also had them there to get bathed and there nails cut. Both dogs smelled and looked great when we picked them up. Great work!!! Very Friendly and attentive team. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
