Rita has been absolutely wonderful with our dog Cali and a godsend for my husband and I! She's been watching our now 11 week old puppy for 2 weeks and we're so thankful to have found her. She's incredibly responsive, on time, knowledgeable with dogs and keeps Cali engaged and happy when she's watching her. Highly recommend hiring Rita for any dog sitting needs you have!!

Wally and Tillie (my two 13-year-old cats) love Rita. They always come out when she takes care of them, which is saying something because they hide from any other cat sitters or visitors! Rita sends me photos while I’m away and my kitties are always happy when I get home so I know she has taken good care of them. I recommend Rita unreservedly! She is a gentle soul and it’s obvious that she loves animals.

Rita is a neighbor’s dog walker - so when I needed one, she was ready & willing. She was professional, and patient with my senior dog, and even able to help on a last minute call. We will definitely use her services again. My dogs Love her too ;)

Everything I could ask for in a dog sitter! She answered her phone right away -- I appreciate that, as I hate having to leave messages for people I want to give my money to. We found a time to meet me and my dog, go over our needs while I was away, dates and times for her to visit. She was very agreeable. She kept in contact with me while I was away, sending me texts and pictures of how my dog was doing so she's obviously very trustworthy. I was so glad he had Rita to visit him. She is lovely, I highly recommend!

We loved being able to leave our dog here during our vacation! They took good care of Winston and would send us photos of him throughout our trip. We were able to check up on him through the cameras as well. We definitely will bring him back again! We are very happy with our experience here!

I am incredibly happy to have found HomeAway From Home! Due to work, we had to leave the country for 19 days, which ended up being extended to 24 days midway through the trip. I was very anxious about leaving our two Belgian Malinois for such a long time, but the staff here made the experience so much easier. The drop off was incredibly easy and resassuring - we were even given an opportunity to view the facility (with my dogs) and ask any questions. They kept me updated regularly with texts and videos, and the live streaming option allowed me to check in on my dogs whenever I missed them, which was a huge comfort. Sometimes when I checked the app I would catch a glimpse of them running after balls staff would throw for them or just sunbathing in the yard :) It's clear that the entire team truly cares for each dog in their care, and they have a real passion for what they do. Hearing stories about other pets boarding there, you can tell they all genuinely love their job. Our two dogs are quite a handful—one likes to challenge other dogs, while the other is usually very timid—yet they made sure both of them were comfortable and well cared for, taking each dog's personality into account. The runs were spacious enough to accommodate our two full-grown Malinois in one kennel without any issues. We also added a bath at the end of their stay, which was the best decision! When I picked them up, they were happy, playful, and smelled amazing after their grooming. I will definitely continue to bring my dogs here for boarding and day trips. HomeAway From Home has truly earned my trust, and I couldn’t be more grateful!

Leo had a great time boarding at Home Away From Home! The facility is clean and well maintained, the manager on site was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was able to view videos of Leo enjoying himself on their live feed. I would highly recommend Home Away From Home the next time you can't bring your dog with you on vacation with you

Home Away from Home is THE best!!!

I have worked in the pet industry myself for close to 10 years and this has been one of my favorite places. Owners have been very accommodating and flexible with my needs. My dog comes home tired and happy from daycare. They have been helping with my dog’s jumping too, which I have found many daycares allow and make the problem worse but she’s been getting better since coming here. They really do go above and beyond here. They are some of the nicest people, too. Great communication. Would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for dog care in this area. Would give them more than 5 stars if I could

They are friendly but not professional here. The last time I dropped of my dog for the weekend I returned to find that he had a ton of dog food left which is fairly uncommon even when staying at a boarding location. The owner informed me that his family went on a camping trip that same weekend so I can only assume that my dog was just not fed.. The first time I brought my dog here was great (professionalism aside) but this last visit makes me wary.

Bob and his family do a great job! My 5-month-old puppy was a very nervous pup after a bad experience at another facility. Bob took his time with her and slowly exposed her to more and more dogs. Bob also gave some great advice for training as well.

We have been taking our dogs here for over 11 years. Both we and our dogs appreciate the loving care and supervision that the team at the Dog Park Inn provide. They will treat your dog as if it were theirs! The Kelleher Family

Kat is a natural!. The moment they hear her car pull up, our dogs can't be still - and she clearly loves them right back. Pets could not be better hands. And we love her, too.

Kat is a blessing to our family. We are a VERY busy family with a lot of pets. Because of her we are able to have our little farm of 11. If we didn’t have Kat we wouldn’t be able to. Our dogs look forward to their walks with Kat and our chickens look forward to their time to run. Any time there is a pet concern or possible medical need I can text her and immediately she tells me what she thinks and I am instantly calmer. Kat is so helpful, knowledgeable and beyond sweet. She loves and cares for all the fur babies she meets. She is a very special person. You don’t get to meet people like Kat often and I am thankful every day we have her in our lives.

Can not recommend more! Kat is incredible and goes above and beyond when taking care of our dogs. One of our dogs is diabetic and needs injections twice a day. Whenever Kat takes care of him, his blood sugar is perfect when we get home. Both our dogs love her and we feel so confident and comfortable when we know she is with them. This year we could not be with one of our dogs on his birthday. Our family felt guilty not to be with him, until Kat sent us a video of her celebrating him (even with birthday gifts!)!!! She might even take better care of our dogs than we do. She is fabulous!

Kat is amazing!!! My dog Sherman is a shy and timid boy. He’s very particular about who he likes and trusts and he loves Kat! I also have three cats who love Kat as well. She’s very reliable and I trust her with all of my babies, hands down. I have referred her to friends/family who love her as well.

Kat was a serious life saver for us!! We had to book an emergency trip and at the last second reached out to Kat and she was luckily available to watch our babies for us. She came to our house extremely professional and covered everything in detail with us. You can tell she has done this a million times and is a pro!! Also one thing I absolutely loved about her is she sent us daily updates and pictures of our girls!! We had never left our pups with anyone before and I was originally very nervous to leave them but after just the first meeting with Kat knew instantly they were in god hands. I can’t say enough about about her and we will definitely be using her services in the future!

Kat Gardner is reliable, thorough, and compassionate. I first met Kat when one of my cats was in the early stages of cancer. Her background as a veterinary technician meant that she was willing to administer oral medication. I highly recommend her to friends and strangers alike.

Kat has looked after our dog several times over the last few years. She’s a fantastic pet sitter. We don’t worry about a thing when we know she’s in charge....and the pup seems pretty happy too. She gives him lots of love and attention, and it’s extra comforting that she’s a vet tech and would know what to do if something were to go wrong. I would recommend her without reservation.

"Auntie" Brie has been apart of our lives for 7 years now. We have 2 Shih Tzu's and Brie has been there since before they even had their shots. When we first brought "Posey" and "Kershaw" home, they were so little that she would come over twice a day to check in and play with them while my husband and I were at work. One day she called me at work and told me Kershaw fell over when trying to walk to the backyard and that she didn't look so good. Brie took her straight to the vet while I sped home. We found out Kershaw was hypoglycemic. If she wasn't there and I came home to a passed out pup, I would have lost it. I'm beyond grateful Brie was there. Also, I don't feel comfortable going out of town unless Brie can take them for the weekend. She has always had a key to our home and I trust her with my babies more than any of our friends or loved ones. She treats our dogs as her own and you can't put a price tag on that. She is not just our dog walker - she is family. One more thing - she takes the best pictures of my pups! 😍

Bree has walked my bundle of joy since he was 6 months old. Massimo, a 110 Dogo Argentino, can be intimidating but she handles him like a champ. In the many years she has been with us she has been extremely accommodating and professional. Massimo, my wife and myself are so grateful to have found her and we have no reservations recommending her to you. She is the best!!! P.S. My pooch absolutely adores her and can't wait to see her.
