Eve did a wonderful job with my dogs! Couldn’t be happier with her work and the dogs came back home very happy! Really enjoyed themselves. It’s very nice to have peace of mind when leaving the pups with someone.

Update: As always the staff at Ormond Beach goes out of their way to take care of our girls Rosey & Ruby! Ruby even had a birthday party! 🥰 Thankful to have Pet Paradise to take care of our pups Rosey and Ruby when we are away or busy for a day. They LOVE coming here for daycare and playing with all the other pups. And the staff is so loving and caring! They also board when we are away and the staff has been great keeping in touch with us when necessary (one of them had a little tummy issue). We trust Pet Paradise to take great care of our babies.

Our boy literally loves Pet Paradise. Not only has he made the best friends to play with - but he loves the humans (employees) that always play with him & show him so much love. We get half a mile away & he goes nuts because he’s so excited to spend time there. They treat him like a total prince & are always so attentive to anything needed. We recommend Pet Paradise in Ormond to all of our fellow dog parent friends!

My dogs are on medicine now for respiratory sickness after staying here. They are all sick. 2 of my 3 dogs stayed here (the 3rd came with us on our trip) Saturday 8/3 1pm to Monday 8/5 10 am when I picked them up. Monday night when I picked them up, my most stressed dog who had never been kenneled before started coughing. Then my older girl. And now, the 3rd dog a few days later that did not even stay at Pet Paradise is coughing. Everyone was always polite on the phone. When I asked for my girls to be put in the same run I was assured my anxiety first time stay dog was doing fine but it stressed her out so much. Vet visit this Tuesday, already started meds yesterday 8/9 thanks to my awesome vet. I won’t get a refund from Pet Paradise until they see the vet visit and approve that its from the stay. Unfortunately I won’t stay here again because I feel like the cleaning practice is part of the problem. I could see the vent in the kennel in the front waiting room was black with dirt and cleanliness is what fights sickness. There’s no sound allowed but you can see the dogs bodies tightening when they cough.

My miniature Australian Shepherd, Valentina, was comfortable with the staff, and that was most important. She practically pranced out of the door after her grooming session with Ami, which means she was also quite pleased with the results.

Trust is the main reason I love Pet Paradise . I know Lucy loves the day care program and while she is there the grooming. Lucy is a rescue and does not trust many people. She does Trust Pet Paradise and gets so excited when we turn the corner. Trust is the best thing when leaving a loved one.

Our dogs, Olive and Gillian, seem happy entering the building. More than one staff member greeted them by name with smiles. They seemed happy with staff when we picked them up. No weight loss. Thirsty but in no way seeming dehydrated. When they are safe and happy then we are happy. Thank you!

I reserved my dog boarding in this location. My dog is always with us so she get a lot of anxiety or get nervous if I left her in a place, last time I left her in Palm Coast, but look it was full. The person that did my checking was with this bad vibe, she started complaining for my dog behavior, she took the dog with her for 2 minutes an then came back with her and told I cannot take her because she bite me which is not true. She didn't tried anything with the dog, but went to their system and put a note that they were not able to take her, bad behavior. I did a reservation in Saint Augustine and I went for the check in the guy there told me about a note in the system because what happened here( so she labeled my dog as a bad one) the guy took the dog with him and 5 minutes later came and told me she is OK, she was nervous and we put the tag. I finished the check-in and she stayed there for 6 days. If you work with animals you know that not all the animals are the same, why not give her time to relax little bit and then try, no she didn't want that dog there, but my dog stayed in the Saint Augustine location without any problem.

Sydney loves getting to come to camp and play with all of her friends! She is quite a reactive pup when it comes to people, but she loves every single staff member that works here. We have boarded her as well, and we love getting the updates about her day and seeing photos of her being her stinky little self. The last time we boarded Sydney, we had her groomed before we picked her up and she smelled amazing for days!!! Getting to watch the her on the cameras is so cute and fun and we love knowing she’s having a blast there.

This was my senior dog's first time staying here. The staff made me feel very comfortable with leaving her in their care. The place is clean with no odor. Highly recommend. I'll be booking her another stay soon.

I know this review is long but please read before booking. I wanted pet paradise to be a good spot for my dog and tried THREE times. We will not be going back. *First experience - Got a $500 respiratory infection, limping, and scabs on his face. I called a few times to see how he was doing and they kept telling me everything was going great. When I picked him up however, he had a few scabs on his face and they said it was from him playing in the pool. Understandable. When I got him back home, he was limping and had this awful wet cough and it went on for a couple days. I took him to the vet ($499 later), they gave him antibiotics, and a few other things. They said it was either kennel cough or he aspirated water and might have an infection, and that he probably sprained his ankle from running. Aside from the injuries, his food anxiety came back. He had this as a puppy and wouldn't eat unless I was touching his back. He would only eat about half his food (typically eats all of it within a few minutes), and would only eat if I was around. Makes me wonder how often they actually checked on him. *Second experience - Drop off nightmare & 2 of 6 food bags coming back? I made a reservation for a Friday lunch drop off on Monday. Got a confirmation call a few days later. When I went to drop him off, I was told they couldn't take him back because a vaccine had expired. You don't think this could have been brought up on the confirmation call? I was polite and asked the latest I could drop him off I now had to make an appointment and get him in last minute with the vet. I got it figured out and dropped him off. When I picked him up, I got his bag back and didn't really check until I got home. He was supposed to have 6 meals during his stay. They are also supposed to add water to the food and this is something I asked if they even did before requesting it. So I'm a little confused why 2 bags of food came back dry. I didn't call about it, just figured I would ask next time. *Third experience - Their computers apparently shut down and are unable to do their job after 5. I received a called at 4:56 and asked what time I would be there. I told them GPS says 9 minutes away (5:04 arrival) and was told they close at 5 on Sunday. I apologized and said I would be there as soon as possible and that I thought they closed at 7. The lady on the phone told me their computer "shuts down" and they will not be able to check him in after 5. I asked why she couldn't keep the computer running and she just said again that it shuts down and she can't do anything about it. I asked if they could take him and check him in the following morning and they said that was against policy (I get that). I was receiving no help or solution from her except, "you can try the place down the street" & "you could drop him off tomorrow when we open at 6:30". I said multiple times that my flight was 7:30 in Orlando and I would already be at the airport. She also said they wouldn't be able to do an early check in fee either because "the computers are down". It was 5:02 at this point and I said, "so there is no way to check him in right now?" and she said no. So I told her to go ahead and cancel my reservation for the entire week. And wouldn't you know, I got an email at 5:06 for the cancellation. Guess the computers were actually working. Interesting.

I fully trust Claudia to take care of my 3 senior dogs. Each dog has special needs and significant health issues. Claudia delivers excellent pet care and my dogs just love her! I highly recommend her services.

Claudia has been the best taking care of my two quirky ESS. They are so well behaved for her and she always sends me pics so I know they’re doing good. Claudia has been great with our dog while we’re away. She spends time with him, walks him and gives him his medication. He’s been much more comfortable and not so anxious in his own surroundings. It’s comforting knowing we have a trustworthy person coming into our home and caring for him, picking up our mail, newspaper and packages. We highly recommend Claudia.

Familiar Surroundings is awesome. Claudia , the owner, is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. My dog and cat just love her and come to her as soon as she walks in the door. She is kind and very professional. We were out of town for 10 days and she watched our cat.The cat is usually shy around strangers and hates when we leave but she did super well while Claudia watched her. We also have had Claudia watch our animals for a day while out of town. Claudia stays in contact with you during your absence so you never need to worry about your pets She deserves 10 stars!!!!!!!!

We are new to the area and found ourselves needing a pet sitter rather last minute for a weeklong out of town trip. Claudia was able to come to our house and care for our three cats and lab for us three times daily. Unfortunately strong storms plagued the area for a week and our poor lab got pretty stressed. Claudia came more often as needed and found a variety of means to assist calming and caring for our nervous dog. Not only did she tend to daily feeding, litter box cleaning and dog walking, she sent videos of the cats playing and getting some “lovin”. Claudia was in constant contact with us during our entire trip. I was very nervous leaving our pets for so long while not even being completely unpacked from our move, but I admit that I felt incredibly comfortable having Claudia there. It was nice having our mail brought inside daily and our garbage can taken out to the curb on trash day. I would highly recommend Claudia to anyone who wants to avoid the kennel and have a pet sitter come to their home.

Charlotte did a fantastic job dog sitting for us while we went out of town. I really enjoyed her personality. She makes sure that all the dogs are comfortable and that all of the pet parents are comfortable and I really appreciated her time and her communication. She’s worth every penny, and then some and very welcoming. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing pet sitting services.

Ms. Charlotte is the most patient and compassionate dog sitter I've ever had. She intuitively knows what the dogs want and responds to their needs quickly. Spends alot of time playing with and caring for the animals. My dogs are always happy when I come back to pick them up and that's worth a million to me. I can relax during my time away.

I was suddenly single with a one-year-old dog, that my wife convinced me to get, a year before she died. I found this service in a classified ad (it was 2008), and Charlotte was a godsend. Over the next 13 years she took wonderful care of my beloved Westie, whenever I wanted to stay out after work or travel. Dylan became part of her family as well as mine. When I made the painful decision to euthanize Dylan due to his suffering from chronic kidney disease, Charlotte was right there with me at his side. And when we were forced to give him fluids subcutaneously the last several months of his life, in an effort to stave off the disease, she wielded the needle, while I comforted my precious Dylan. Charlotte had free reign and access to my house, because I trusted her implicitly. I do not hesitate to recommend her services.

Aaron came to my home to meet me and my 3 cats. He bonded with them relatively quickly. He has helped and continues to help me with my fur babies medication. I would highly recommend him and will be comfortable leaving my cats in his care. So gentle with the cats. I just cannot say enough good things about his service.

We visit the area once a year and we can always rely on Aaron to help us even on a drop of a hat he's always willing to take such great care of our 2 dogs while we are on vacation! Aaron watched my house of fur babies for 10 days while out of the country. He text me pictures daily to keep my heart at ease that they were all doing well and he walked and fed them on their normal schedule. I came home to a happy house that was even still clean!! (I know that was hard to keep as I have 6 crazy fur babies). I have 2 dogs, italian grey hound and a dalmatian mix, and 3 cats (one of which has special needs and has to get steroids every other day)... he even looked after my rat!! Very affordable and I could not be more happy with his service and attention to my babies in my absence and my animals loved him. Will definitely use him again! So glad to have found someone I can trust with my babies and my home while I am gone. PRICELESS.

I’m a local business owner and was very impressed with Aaron from Happy Paws Home Care. Very professional and trusting. Two very important Quality’s when allowing someone into your home and watching your family pet.

I first got my rescue. Allegedly she had bit the previous vet trying to give her heartworm medication so they just kinda let her be. I took her to my pet wellness and she was very comfortable there as much as a dog could be, the doctors and attendent’s handled her with tons of love, and they didn’t have to muzzle her or anything. They’ve been good about filling refills on prescriptions and I do believe their prices are fair as far as any surgical things or what not. Last time my dog was there she swiped one of their little stuffed animals and they were cool they let her have it. It reduced her anxiety all she was there. She still has it today. She could shred it in five seconds, but it’s the one she loves to nib nib on.

A wonderful facility. Dr. Wells and Tracie were amazing with my rescue Pittie that can be difficult. They were so good with him and had the most stress free experience we have had yet! Highly recommend.

I love Dr. Marie and Shannon! They are always so good at explaining all I need to know and letting me ask questions. I know my dogs are getting the best care because both of them love my dogs as if they were there own. I highly recommend to everyone!!!!!

Peanut has an ear infection from allergies. They explained to me what caused it and how to use the medication. They were very gentle with her while cleaning her ears.

My pup had an urgent medical issue on Friday afternoon and our regular vet couldn't fit him in until Monday. Not only did My Pets Wellness make a speedy appointment for him Friday afternoon, they were phenomenal! Dr Wells and Melissa were patient and caring and took their time examing him thoroughly, and explaining options and costs. They don't try to upsell you on unnecessary procedures. That convinced me...I'm making My Pets Wellness my primary vet from now on. Bring your pets here. You won't regret it.

I have had them as my vet since I got tiered of petsmart. Not tending to my dogs needs. His ear infection was never selves and it was always. Come back in two week over and over. My pets wellness finally did something better for him and got it healed once and for all. Now he still gets infections because of his floppy ears but it’s not as bad. I now bring both of my dogs there for any issues or vaccinations they require. .

Avoid at any cost ! My young dog died there after only 3 days I took my healthy 5 1/2 year old Shih Tzu to this place on September and within 3 days received the message that he was dead !! I usually never write a review but I want to share my experience here and update will be published as this is still ongoing investigation ! I took my two dogs to my pet welness in Daytona beach on September 26 , 2023 It wasn’t the first time I took them there for boarding since I am a medical doctor and travel a lot I received a message on 09/30 from my pet welness while I was in Germany that my Shih Tzu , perfectly healthy dog has trouble walking, They sent me 2 videos and he had trouble maintaining his balance ! There was no doctor available to talk to and my request to talk to one of the vets was ignored ! The vet docs did not come to check on my dog and veterinary doc recommend to take the dog to ED ! He was taken to Animal Emergency Hospital Volusia and I called them and all they cared was my credit card info before touching my dog I asked what needs to be done and they could not exactly specify the cost and tests but I was told he is overall ok That was at late evening! They took my dog back to my pet welness Daytona and next day at 7 am only few hours later , I called to check on my dog and I was told they came in the morning and found him dead ! His body was placed in refrigerator and I took him few days later to university of Florida Gainesville for Diagnostic Necropsy and after few weeks I got following message The surface of the brain was diffusely reddened and cause of death was inflammation of brain! As a doctor myself it’s a mystery to me how a healthy young dog can all the sudden acquire such a fulminant infection course and expire within few days due inflammation of brain ! I never received a call from My pet welness after results was Back there was absolutely not a single contact whatsoever I lost my beloved dog because I trust him in their hands During my dog stays there , my pet welness always run multiple unnecessary tests and charged me hundreds of dollars more for this tests ! Also I noticed that each time I took them Back home they had lost their voice for few days and were extremely anxious I will post updates as this case is not closed but it was important to me to share this after waiting long time for results to autopsy come back because I don’t want anyone to go through such horrific experience ! Not only I lost an amazing friend , I had to pay thousands of dollars for autopsy etc Below I added a picture before he was taken there and only few days later when I took his body back Update : my pet welness failed to respond to BBB and this will no go under their database Ani Al control and other authorities will now be notified

My Pets Wellness is my goto place for boarding my boy! They have always treated him with love and kindness. He was going full time for a year while I worked and took care of a sick relative. If he needed a bath or an allergy shot they could fit him right in the schedule. Their staff is aware and knows he is scared of bigger dogs, they will go out of their way to accommodate his needs! Though he likes to be active outside, they will look out for his need to go inside for a break when it's hot that day! My thanks for all you do to make a it pleasant and safe environment for my little animal! ❤️

I took both of my girls in for a wellness checkup. Two black labs who were very hyper and excited to be there. They had been there several times before for doggy daycare and boarding. This visit was for the vet to examine and update vaccines. You could tell they love dogs and very patient with them wanting to play. I would highly recommend them for your dogs medical care, boarding or doggy daycare.

Skyler and Jonathan are wonderful pet sitters who took excellent care of our sweet Lady! This was the first time leaving her with anyone and all my questions were answered with kindness and patience. They are knowledgeable and loving and from our first meeting in their beautiful home, I knew we were in great hands. Their warmth and love of animals is apparent and they spoiled Lady rotten! With all the moving pieces of planning a vacation, the peace of mind that comes from knowing your babies are in great hands with a qualified and caring sitter is priceless! When we came home after our weekend away, Lady was relaxed and happy! We also loved the consistent photos and videos during our time away! Skyler&Jonathan are the best! This was the first time I ever had to leave my dogs & I was super nervous but Skyler did everything he said he would & sent me updates & pictures throughout the day letting me know my boys were ok! You can see the love the have for your animal the minute you walk in their home! One of my dogs is a rescue and has severe abandonment issues &I was not sure how he was going to do but Skyler & Jonathan showered him with love & attention so he had no time to be stressed. He settled in just so sweetly! Skylar & Jonathan have a heart for these animals & truly care! When I picked my boys up I could tell they were well loved! I will definitely use them again! They are pawsitvely the best!!! Also I had booked my date & then had to reschedule at the last minute due to an illness and they were very understanding & accommodating as we looked up new dates. We feel so fortunate that we found Ormond Beach In-home Dog Boarding! From the first communication, Skyler and his team were consummate professionals, and we found them very fairly priced for the services! Our dog, Sox, was well taken care of and loved (and spoiled!) for a week, which included both Skyler in our home and Sox in his. To have the worry of our dog’s care while we’re away taken away, and then to know all the attention she received (and the best pictures!), we will be calling on this company every time we leave town from here on out!

I was in a last minute bind when my pups regular sitter had an emergency and could not watch my boy. I found Skyler and so happy I did! He made sure I was updated often with regular check ins, replied within minutes and I could tell in the pics that my Teddy was comfortable and cared for. Teddy was in such high spirits when I picked him up and beyond grateful for the way my boy was cared for. Thanks a million!

So happy to have found Pampered Dog Boarding. I have two very pampered Caviliers and have avoided traveling since my usual sitter moved out of town. I didn't want to leave my girls at a place where they would spend most of their time caged. Barbara keeps the dogs in her home and treats them as her own. She sends daily videos and pictures and is always quick to respond when I text. I will absolutely use Pampered Dog in the future and will recommend to all my friends with small dogs.

I highly recommend Barbara and her husband Don at Pampered Dog Sitting, and I am SO glad I found them. I am very picky when it comes to my Maltipoo. I interviewed Barbara on the phone, and then visited her home before deciding to give her a try. Her home and yard are spotless-perfectly clean. And the entire environment is geared towards the dogs' safety and comfort. She only takes small dogs and only a few at a time. Bandit is clearly well cared for there and always goes to Barbara (or Don) happily when I drop him off. I have used Pampered Pet for daytime dog sitting, weekends, and I've also left Bandit with them for 10 days on 2 occasions. Very happy with their professional service and I know they love Bandit. Highly recommend.

Traveling without my dog is extremely difficult for me until I met Pampered Dog Sitting and Barbara. My experience with her and the love and compassion she has for dogs is incredible. I highly recommend her and the wonderful care she exhibits.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews. But considering the circumstances, I feel I have no choice. I called her and asked if she had any availability for my Chihuahua and she said she did. I gave her all my information and she said just be there before she closes at 5. My husband and I arrived to her house where she boards a few hours later and got no answer at the door. I called her on my cell while still standing at the door and she answered. I told her who I was and that we spoke that morning with an understanding that I would be able to bring my dog for boarding. She told me that she did not remember speaking with me and did not have me on her records, but I know this was not correct because I had saved her number and her address so I would be able to get there later that day. The only explanation I have for this is that I am African-American and when she saw me on her RING camera she decided to change her mind about keeping my dog. I have never had an experience like this before and it really upset me. She was not rude in anyway but she was dishonest about saying she had not spoken with me when she had. I drove 30 minutes to her destination for nothing which was a great inconvenience for me. I cannot speak on her care of the animals, I’m sure it is great that’s why I chose her to watch my baby, but as for denying speaking with me on the phone after she saw who I was, I will let you make your own judgment call on that. My Yorkie Poo is very satisfied with his dog sitting experience. I can tell by how happy he is when we drop him off with Barbara. As for my wife and I, we are also happy because we feel very secure knowing Oakie will be well cared for in a clean professional environment. 5 stars says it all.

It is obvious Barbara loves dogs...and they are truely PAMPERED! I knew they were in good hands as soon as I walked into her house. Barbara really knows dogs :) I will be returning to PDS and going on more trips now that I am comfortable with my dogs' care.

This was my puppy's first time away from us at all. She spent the night with Barbara and came home a very happy doggie. She got all the TLC she needed. Thank you Barbara for the loving care you gave my baby.
