Elizabeth has been our dog walker/pet sitter since 2023. Our dog, Charlie, needs 3 walks a day and Elizabeth takes good care of him. He gets exercise and enjoys time in her company. She is also great when our fire alarms went off in our house during our last trip. She disarmed them and sent pictures. We were happy she was able to take care of the problem. She is a great communicator and I highly recommend her to those who want to leave their animal with a responsible and caring pet sitter!

Elizabeth is a fantastic dog sitter. She is very responsible and reliable. My dogs always seem happy when they are in her care. Much better than leaving them at an impersonal kennel. Zoe and Nacho love spending time with Elizabeth. I would highly recommend her.

Elizabeth is awesome, she takes wonderful care of our Jack Russell mix and border collie mix. They always come home happy and smiling and well cared for. She sends lots of pictures to keep us updated and we are really grateful for her skill with the dogs. Our border collie is on medication which Elizabeth skillfully administers and doesn’t always get along with other dogs in our experience, but Elizabeth is so good with her. She always comes home better trained and socialized then we left her :-)

We’ve relied on Elizabeth for years to take care of our pets and house while away. Guinea pigs, fish, dog - she does it all and keeps an eye on the house. We’ve used her for weekends to over a month. Always reliable and responsive. Pets are well cared for and happy. Good value, good and reasonable service. Highly recommended and much preferred to a kennel.

Elizabeth has been watching our first rescue dog Nico since we got him in 2021, and now our latest addition, Vinny. As with a lot of rescues, ours had some social/ behavioral issues in the beginning, but Elizabeth is an expert. She knows how to work with and around those issues and also make recommendations. The controlled socialization our dogs get when staying overnight with Elizabeth have been immensely helpful to their training. They come home pooped and happy from all the playing! She also offers reasonable pricing and flexible scheduling. If you’re in the Davis area, highly recommend giving Elizabeth a call.

Elizabeth loves our dogs and cats like they're her own and they are always excited to see her! She sends pictures from the dog park and when she sits the cats she often spends time hanging out with them beyond a standard visit. She was very patient with out dog who is not great with new people and going to dog group with Elizabeth has been great for her self confidence.

Elizabeth is amazing! I came into town to move my son into UC Davis and about a month prior to coming I had contacted her and several other prospective pet sitters. Of everyone I had spoken with, she was who I felt was the best fit and most qualified to watch my Zoey. Her rates are fair and she spends quality time with them. She also kept in contact throughout the day to let me now how my girl was doing -including pictures of my happy girl playing with her pack. I highly recommend Elizabeth.

Elizabeth has taken great care of our cats! She's helped with medicine and shots, and picky eating. She's also been able to catsit for us last minute on a couple of occasions. We always come home to happy kitties.

When I came to Davis for grad school, I was worried about having time for my dog, so I reached out to Elizabeth. She is responsive and flexible and most of all, my dog loves her! Wednesday’s are his happiest day of the week and he sits by the window waiting for her. Hiring Elizabeth was a great investment because regardless of how busy I get at work, I know Theo will have great week.

Was assured by owner that staff would respect and secure my home and they did not. Front door was left unlocked while walker was out with my dog and back door left unlocked and open when they left. Staff also forced my fearful dog into a harness before earning their trust, sent me a report photo of her looking extremely uncomfortable in my kitchen. I let them go after four days and would not recommend them to anyone

I have trusted the care of my furry friends to Janet and her team for 16 years now. They have been through a lot with me and my cat crew - saying hello to new furry faces and some goodbyes too. I realize as I begin to think about traveling again, that using Janet and Lucky Buddy to take care of Finn while I am away is critical to me feeling comfortable. When it comes to the pets who depend on me, I have a hard time assuming that "no news is good news", so I really love the daily photos and updates. The staff is really proactive about the pet's comfort, and I know I could count on Janet to do anything needed. That's really important to me when I am out of town and sometimes very far away.

I’ve been having Janet and her team care for my sweet dog Diamond for years. I enjoy the updates they give me via email each time they visit her and I’m away, along with a sweet photo of my dog. I can tell they are people who truly care for animals and I like when they bring attention to any concerns they’ve noticed with her. They have always been accommodating to the schedule that I have and I truly appreciate them.

In a word, amazing! I had a serious medical emergency and was hospitalized with no notice. Janet and the team stepped in the same day and took care of my pup for days until I was able to return home. Thank you Lucky Buddy Petcare!

Janet and her team are really in love with animals. I’ve petsat for friends and colleagues and the overall vibe from this small group of dedicated part-timers is an appreciation of your home and your animals’ comfort in it. They also are mindful of bro gong in packages/mail and watering plants, so bonus. Also, they include pictures and little fun reports on the pets’ “state of mind” Worth it every time.

Karla’s Pet Care does such a fantastic job! Our pets were frankly a nightmare while we were gone, the cat refused the litter box, the dog kept getting in the pantry and gave herself diarrhea. On top of that we had to keep changing our schedule and they rolled with all of it. They did a great job of keeping us informed while not stressing me out about my pets while I was on vacation. 10/10 highly recommend!

I loved this!! I'm always nervous about people being in my house when I'm not there but after the pre-visit my nerves were put to ease. Karla and Kayla are so nice and professional. Kayla is the one that took care of my fur babies when I was gone. She kept me updated with detailed daily check ins and pictures of them. I loved it and it made me feel so good that they were in great care. On top of all that she brought in my mail and took my garbage cans to the curb! It made a HUGE difference coming home late from a long trip and and not having to clean up cat litter, clean cat barf, or take the cans out etc. Thank you ladies for everything!!!

Karla was wonderful! From the pre-visit to scheduling changes and taking great care of our pets while we were away. Even helped bring in the trash bins and water some plants. All with daily updates and pictures! Great service.

March 2021 update- Karla and her team continue to provide wonderful care. We started their new poop pickup service and it has been so helpful and convenient. Joe goes above and beyond and has communicated with us actively to address any concerns. I highly recommend! Karla and her team have been caring for our pets whenever we go out of town for over a year. They are easy to work with, friendly, and affordable. My favorite part is receiving an update and pictures of our pups each day during their care, so fun and comforting!

Stacy is ABSOLUTELY the most caring, thoughtful and thorough pet sitter that we have had! We have had overnights with many steps that our pups need (dog mom imposed I guess!) and Stacy never said anything was too much. Rather, Stacy understands that dogs are our kids - and they deserve the best care and love. She has a ton of affection and patience even for our “problem child” and loves all animals no matter their personalities. In a world where it’s so difficult to find pet sitters that really go the extra mile and not have to worry about anything - Stacy is a god send! They hit it off immediately, and it was such a relief to know he was in good care during an extended vacation of ours. Stacy is the best, and our senior dogs (17 and 15 year olds) absolutely love her! I don’t think I trust anyone with our fur babies as much as I trust her! She’s also very flexible and charges more reasonably compared to other services out there.

Can’t say enough about how great Stacy is with my two senior fur babies! She visits with them while I work, and also takes excellent care of them when I go out of town. Stacy sends plenty of updates and pictures, which is very important to me, since my pups both have health issues. She clearly loves pets and I feel like I couldn’t leave mine in better hands. I could take about how amazing Stacy K is ALL day. My husband and I have 3 dogs, and have always struggled to find good a good sitter for them in the past. When we met Stacy almost 2 years ago, our dogs have never received better care, and we have never felt so stress free while leaving town because we know that our babies are in the best hands. Stacy makes sure they get their walks, rain or shine, and gives them so much of her time and love. They were also willing to take care of our dogs and cats for only one day, which not all pet sitting services will do. The write-ups they left were thorough and helpful, and we'd definitely recommend them.

Our experience with Pawsitive Attention has been awesome! Jessica is our dog walker/dog lover/dog carer - and she has made my life SO much easier and our doggies love her. Getting some assistance with extra love and help for our doggies from Pawsitive Attention, is one of the best decisions my husband I have made recently. Since we have recently adopted a 3rd dog, which we are still trying to integrate with our other two dogs - things have been A LOT stressful lately trying to juggle them all seperately. Then...Jessica came a long! She is our dog whisperer and stress reliever! Our doggies look forward to her coming, they know when it is about time that she will get here and they soak up all of her love! I can come home and know that they have been walked, tired out, fed, and gone out to the bathroom. She, and Rachele, are incredibly knowledgeable about dogs, and specifically our breeds of dogs (all terriers), and have helped us immensely with educating ourselves as dog owners and how we can better address our dogs needs. I have tons of questions for Jessica about our newest doggie everytime I see her and she always takes the time to talk to me about all my questions and even brings me research and information all the time on the things that we talk about or the questions that I have. i feel like Jessica is a God send. she is amazing. Our dogs love her. She treats our doggies with so much love, as if they were her own. She is so easy going and flexible (accommodating our last minute changes in schedule more than a couple of times). She is super reliable and I absolutely trust her 100% with our doggies ( and we are definitely picky about trusting people with our doggies). She has a lot of experience working with dogs and is very confident in her abilities; it's really gives us a lot of confidence too. It's also hard to explain the whole dynamic of separating our doggies while we are trying to integrate them, etc. - but she totally gets it, understands it, talks to us about it, supports and explores the process with us, and we will likely end up calling Rachele to assist us with integrating our dogs - due to her experience with these situations. Jessica treats our dogs like family, gives them them love attention as if they were her own dogs and we couldn't be happier.

She is a talented handler with loads of experience in the veterinarian field, making her the perfect caregiver or trainer for your dog. I am lucky to know Sarah and have such a wonderful person to refer clients to, support, and bounce ideas off of! I wouldn't hesitate to trust her with any of my dogs.

My dogs are my children, and they are the biggest part of my family, they are my best friends. So, I couldn’t just trust anyone to fully take care of my girls, love them and snuggle them the way I would. When I found Dash Hounds and met with Sarah, I was blown away with her compassion and commitment. She assured me that she would treat my girls as if they were her own, which put my mind at ease. I travel a lot for work, and am gone on overnight trips. It is so comforting knowing that I can focus on my work all while knowing Brenda and Olivia (my girls) are taken care of the way I would do so. I am so thankful to Vickie at BOW -WOW PET SITTING!!! I am the kind of dog mom that puts my 2 boys Doug and Rusty (dachshunds) above myself. I set my house up so that THEY are happy and comfortable. I have a low bed,, doggie ramps everywhere and there are dog toys all over. I would say that they are a little spoiled ❤️🐾🐾❤️ I only trust a few people with my dogs. I recently moved to Fair Oaks. I searched online for pet sitting and called Vicky, the owner of Bow-Wow pet sitting and boarding. I asked many questions. I then looked at her reviews on Yelp and decided that I would give her a call back. She was able to take my dogs the next day. She was so great! My dogs were barking and have separation anxiety. I immediately felt comfortable with Vicky. She is very kind and obviously loves animals. Her house is set up perfectly - she can separate dogs if necessary but still see them, they are not locked away in a closed room. She had a big wonderful yard to play in. When I picked up my boys they were happy and not stressed. Now they WANT to go there! Even though I'm done moving I intend to to take them to Vicky's at least once a week because they love her and I don't take them in the car and leave them when running errands. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VICKIE AND BOW -WOW PET SITTING!!! She is reasonably priced and very accommodating. ******************!!!!💕

I am appalled at the neglect and inhumane treatment of my dog. We left my dog Roxxy there for the weekend over 4th of July. We made sure they were aware she was a rescue dog with anxiety, and we were guaranteed that our dog would not be left alone during the fireworks. After we got our dog home, that night we realized her mouth was severally injured. Apparently, she had been left outside in a metal crate during fireworks while the owners of Bow Pow Pet sitting went to the liquor store, and tried to chew her way out causing the damage to her mouth. Multiple teeth had been broken off, her gums were destroyed and she had literally chewed so long and hard the bone of her jaw was damaged. We were never notified that our dog had been injured under their care, we had to wait to find out when we got her back, and with the extent of the injury being as bad as it was I have a hard time believing there were no signs of blood or injury when it happened. The surgery to fix my dog's mouth was over $3,500, which Bow Wow Pet sitting never even tried to repay. I felt the owners of Bow Wow pet sitting were unprofessional and down right negligent to have let this happen. To top it all off, after multiple complaints from us they still have pictures of my dog on their website, against my approval, to advertise their business. Usually I am not one to write angry online reviews but I feel strongly that they were negligent towards my dog.

My dogs were well taken care of in a family style environment. Both had individual needs and their needs were well taken care of. Was so pleased with the great care both dogs received! Recommend!

Great attentive people who are dedicated to every animal they come across. Reasonable prices for the amount of service you receive. They always go above and beyond for their customers and our pets.

Quinn grooms and bathes my chow chow Cece and Loki our Cairn terrier mixed . Very few people know how to groom a chow but Quinn does an amazing job every time . Not only is she good at grooming but she does so well with handling our pets. Loki our cairn use to get anxiety going anywhere but he warmed up to Quinn rather quickly and is excited for his visits with her . I highly recommend Wags for grooming especially Quinn. All staff have been very friendly and professional and the environment is very clean . Thank you Wags for taking care of my pets needs !

Wag Sacramento is great. They always treat my little pups very well. The front staff are great and the handlers are amazing. I love when I pick up my pups, the handler gives me a quick summary of my pups day. My pups love wag, every time I pull up, they get so excited and can’t wait for me to take them inside. Shout out to Champagne and all the morning staff! You’re wonderful! 🤗

I had a great experience at the wag hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I felt very comfortable leaving my pup there for a couple hours. Of course she was a little nervous her first time there. I would definitely be back for more daycare for my pup ❤️💯 The cutest is when I would get updates and photos on her 🫶 …

Our first time here and this place is wonderful! The stay was free for our first two visits for day stay. The service and staff were exceptional. The day stays came with a complimentary walk, which was great for my little guy. We did the one on one stay so he could have his own space. This place is huge and right of the freeway. My dog Randall was great after I picked him up so that let me know he was treated well while he stayed. I highly recommend this place and I plan to use it every time we are in town!

We were originally told that our visit would be complimentary, however we were charged the $40 fee. EDIT to original post: I was contacted by Wag Hotel and they reversed the charge after discovering their error. THIS is the way you keep happy customers. We will be returning for all of our dog hotel needs. Oso seems happy

We were in town for the day and it was a last minute decision and I am so glad it went smoothly. Was greeted by the staffs when we first came in, and got a tour of the place (upon request). They even offered us complimentary stay for first timers, very thorough. What’s good is there also other locations and our pup is in the system. Would come back again!

My dog, Hank had a wonderful time there. It gave me such peace being able to watch him on the webcam and see all the friends he was making The staff was very friendly and gave me updates on his all day play definitely will be back.

Our little Gracie came home really tired and she seemed very happy after a day of play. This was our first time to leave her, but if we have another opportunity, we will definitely take it.

Wag is very thorough in making sure your pet has a fun and safe experience. You'll want to make sure your fur baby is vaccinated. There is a really cool covered drive up so you and your pet are covered for all weather. The lobby is very cute too with lots of goodies and toys for your pet to choose from. The staff was super friendly and worked great with our girl who was a first timer being borded. My favorite thing was the play time with other dogs, so you pet can get exercise and socialization!

The pups just stayed at Wag during the holiday, and they were well cared for. My dogs share a junior suite and love blankets, Wag always loads them up! I also witnessed one worker picking them each up and cuddling/letting them kiss her. Wag will always be my go to pet hotel. Nathan and Emma love Wag!
