Nigel was conscientious, kind, and professional during his time caring for our cat. He made a preparatory visit to learn about our cat's habits & needs, then while we were out of town, he sent daily photo updates and a short journal about how they spent their time togther. It was clear from his approach that he not only has a great way with animals, but that he tries to understand them as the individuals that they are within our families. When we got home from our trip, our cat was well-adjusted and calm. I feel very safe having left my cat with him and I will gladly do so again.

I’ve been using Kiki and Nigel as my cat sitter since I moved up 2 years ago. I have a very emotional cat that’s at times difficult and they seem to bring the best out of her. I get photo updates along with a nice blurb to let me know how things are going. Booking is done through an app which makes things a breeze.

We moved to Brooklyn in May and had been looking for a cat sitter since then. It wasn’t so urgent since we were home all day and didn’t have any travel plans. We looked at the pet sitting services available and after careful consideration and research, decided on Dogzilla and Cat Cong. Firstly, the website is really cute, clever and professional. Secondly, Nigel is really good with our cats. He sends out a detailed report after every visit with amazing pictures of our kitties. I think our kitties probably have a better time with him than with us. He kept them to their routine, gave them plenty of playtime and cuddles. He watched them for 6 days and I’m more than happy to have him care for them for much longer. Highly recommend - so glad we found someone we can trust with our cats here in the neighborhood!

Nigel and Kiki are terrific with my dog Maple. They take Maple on great walks and they took care of her while I was on vacation overseas. They are fabulous photographers and send daily pictures and reports. We truly have a gem available in Sullivan County for our beloved animals. The are professional and Maple simply adores them!

Nigel is the best! Our pup strudel loves him, and he takes great care of her. He’s very attune with her little dog needs and always makes sure she gets what she needs. He even put a little raincoat on her when it was raining! Can’t recommend him enough.

Not really sure where to start.. We found Nigel online over a year ago and it was a true blessing. He walked our two dogs, one loves people and the other is terrified. She was a baby at the time and needed a lot of extra encouragement. Nigel was beyond amazing with her. Helping us train her and calm her. He worked so hard and it really helped her and us. He was great with juggling both a large dog and a medium with two very different needs. He sent us a photo everyday and a great overview of there walks (He takes amazing pictures). He is very trust worthy and was great even when one of our pups hurt his foot. He sat with them inside and checked in daily until his foot got better. The dogs love Nigel and we felt very safe with him and still do! He really is one of the best walkers out there.

Nigel exemplifies all you would want your dog walker/sitter to be! He is incredibly kind with animals and humans alike and meticulously follows all instructions. He’s definitely a dog whisperer! We have 2 rescue dogs, one who is particularly anxious. We gave him a laundry list of what sets her off and Nigel has worked wonders with her- she's become so much better on her walks and we have Nigel to thank. He always sends updates along with the best picture of our pups that really are a delight. Nigel has also pet sat for us and it's well worth every penny. He provided updates throughout the day and was even nice enough to leave our home spotless. We recommend Nigel without a doubt!

Nigel is amazing! He is very professional, reliable, and the best with dealing with our 50 lb. German Shepard/Boarder Collie Mix. Our puppy is very hyper and gets excited easily and Nigel is amazing with him. Since Nigel has been walking our dog we have seen major improvements with his mood and it has helped relieve his anxiety who is a rescue. Nigel takes great care of our dog, provides him with a rain coat if needed, fresh water, and treats, as well as making sure that on hot walks he has water for him as well. Our lives are so much better with Nigel walking Dewd and that we do not have to worry about him while we are at work. Nigel also lets us know when he is picking him up as well as provides us with photos from their walks and an update on how it went. I cannot recommend Nigel and his services enough. If you are looking for someone you can trust with your pet Nigel is that person, we are so happy we found him.

Nigel is a Godsend! He is so amazing with our Princess Frankie. He lets us know when he’s picking her up, he takes photos of her on their walks, he lets us know how their walk went. I trust Nigel with Frankie and around my other dogs as well. He’s very reliable, trustworthy and responsible. I would recommend him to everyone!!

Nigel is the absolute greatest - he went above and beyond for us! I had to move from NYC to Hawaii without my cats, because the quarantine process for getting kitties to Hawaii takes months. Nigel took my cats to the vet for me several times during this process when my roommate could not! He is an amazing person and a great cat sitter who will treat your babies as his own! Definitely hire him!

Update: 11/24/22 We again boarded our fur babies with Puppy Paradise Blakely. And I have never seen them so happy to be somewhere other than running around our home. Thanks again to the wonderful staff - specifically: Ashley (the manager),Trinity, Megan, Danielle, Heather, and Delina who watched over them on their stay. It means everything to use to know they were so well cared for! We highly recommend Puppy paradise and the staff at the Blakely location- and their window rooms! ------- We boarded our 3 dogs at Puppy Paradise Moosic location for 9 days and we are SO happy we found them. We have two senior dogs English Bulldog (12), Mix (9) and a 3 year old English bulldog. They took excellent care of our pets - we have never had them returned to us in such good condition. Skin folds were wiped, meds were given and they even returned with a bath. They are happy - no hair loss or nervous behaviors or accidents since returning home. Staff had Excellent communication. We loved the option to have photos texted to us and updated. We will definitely be booking another stay with Puppy Paradise.

Left my boy, Finn with them for four days while we went out of town for a wedding. It was the first time we have left him since we adopted him at 8 weeks, so I was incredibly anxious. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Puppy Paradise. They texted me a ton of photos and videos every day, in which you could clearly tell Finn was being loved and taken care of so well. He had an absolute blast and we will be taking him here any time we can’t bring him with us to travel. Thank y’all sooo much for taking such good care of my boy!!

My Newfie/Lab had a wonderful stay here this past weekend and I was really pleased with the care and attention he clearly got. Very reasonably priced compared to other places I have boarded my dogs and they have an option to be texted pictures/updates about your dog while you are away! We will be back for sure!

We've used Puppy Paradise in the past for boarding our dogs during vacation and they are awesome. The rates are very reasonable and they allow both of our dogs to be boarded in the same room (some kennels do not). They were also able to accommodate us at the last minute when we had to suddenly leave town for a couple of days. The staff is friendly and our dogs love it.

Heather is a dream to work with. She is intuitive and directional. She explains the process of "how to and why" of the command, then adds the science behind it. It's fantastic. In addition, my pup boards when we travel & goes to daycare once a week! I've never felt so comfortable leaving my boy. Heather is his 2nd mother! She's the best! Best! Best!

We have tried several different boarding options with our girl, all of which are very well respected and beautiful facilities, but Aspen’s Corner is the ONLY place for us! Bella is a nervous dog and all of the other dogs, being in a kennel, and the noises and atmosphere in the boarding facilities was all too overwhelming for her. Heather and her family are amazing and immediately made Bella feel like a part of their family from the first day that she was there. I love that there are only a few dogs at a time so she is getting lots of love and attention and I love that she is simply living in their home with them so that it feels more like a “home away from home.” Seeing all of the pictures of her lounging on the couch with the family and other pups, making new friends, playing in the yard, and going on walks make me feel so happy and I am able to relax and know that she is happy and being loved so that I can enjoy my time away. We now have a new puppy who will be staying with them as well and we can’t wait to see all of the love he will get there as well. We LOVE Aspen’s Corner and can’t recommend it enough!!

My Luna was a stubborn energetic unruly puppy. I worked with her daily but didn't know what I was doing and just made her more confused. Luna and I had a meet/greet with Heather and I signed Luna up for puppy school that day. From day one of puppy school I recieved report cards and videos of her progress. Both were helpful to for continuing traing her at home. Luna graduated puppy school and is just a great little lady, happy and spirited but walls well on a leash,meets people appropriately learned to leave it,take it,chill in her place or crate, come when called (most of the time) and socialize with other dogs.The best thing I ever did was enroll Luna in Smart Start Puppy school at Aspen's Corner. Luna continues to attend daycare at Aspen's Corner and has boarded there a few times. It is comforting to know that Luna can exercise and socialize in a trusted and safe environment.

Our dog truly loves it here! She always comes home tired from a day of daycare and gets so excited when we drop her off there. We have boarded her once so far but it was great knowing we could leave her somewhere she was happy and felt comfortable. Like having a family member watch your dog but better!

I was so nervous to leave my dogs but Heather was wonderful. She sent me pictures and told me how they were doing. They will be staying again in October for longer and I know they're in good hands.

Heather and her family are absolutely amazing! We left our puppy there with her and we were gone for two weeks and we were nervous to leave him anywhere and at the end we were wondering if he was going to want to come back to us when we got home lol He made so many friends and had a great time they treated him like family! we were so happy to finally find somebody that we can trust wholeheartedly!!

I have only had to leave my dog a few times & wouldn't trust anyone besides Heather at Aspens Corner to care for him. I cannot say enough about the exceptional treatment & care my dog receives when he stays. It is as close to home as anyone can get! I highly recommend!

Tiffany was wonderful!! I boarded my rescues here and was unsure of how they were going to be or react to other dogs, but Tiffany, who is also a dog trainer, reassured me everything would be ok and she would assess them. My rescues were totally fine and super happy to roam her beautiful land. Machu and Picchu had a wonderful time!! Tiffany also gives photo updates regularly. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reputable and truly caring pet boarding facility. Thank you so much for everything Tiffany!

We can’t thank Tiffany enough! Duke came home from board and train a new dog, but still his cuddlebug old self too. We had such a challenge not knowing how to train this LGD mix breed as a pet, and Tiffany not only did it, she filled in all the blanks for us and explained in detail what worked best and why. Duke adored her and enjoyed his first stay away from home. She treated him like he was a part of her clan and her Bubba is now Duke’s new best friend. Thank you! ❤️

Tiffany is great, very knowledgeable and experienced dealing with many different breeds of dogs. Strongly recommend her to anyone who is in need of kenneling, I believe she has animal training experience as well. Very happy with my experience.

Our dogs had a more cozy and fun holiday than we did! We left our two adult dogs who had never boarded overnight before with Tiffany at Rolling Acres over the winter holidays. We received regular photos and messages updating us on how they were settling in. Tiffany was very responsive and attentive to any questions that came up. Tiffany cares for dogs at Rolling Acres as if they are part of her own pack. We’ll definitely trust our pups to her again!

Tiffany helped us learn how to handle our Boston Terrier. She taught us what to do when he is reactive to certain triggers that set him off! We are very grateful! I would recommend her to anyone for help!

Cannot rate Rolling Acres highly enough! Tiffany truly does a remarkable job. Received many pictures and videos throughout my dog’s stay. It takes a ton of stress and worry off your mind when you can see your dog is having a blast while you’re away. In fact, my wife and I are so impressed with Tiffany at Rolling Acres that we will be using her in the future for training, in addition to boarding.

We had a wonderful experience with Tiffany at Rolling Hills. She is truly an expert in her field. She showed our 2 pups so much love and care, it was like they were at a friends for a sleepover. We felt so at ease leaving them with her. Rolling Acres K-9 Retreat has made making a trip without our pups a lot easier. Thank you Tiffany!

When we rescued River, we were beyond excited! We went through the process with Dawn from the Saint Bernard Rescue Network! She is amazing by the way🎉 She does incredible things for Saints in need of new homes! I never though that things would go the way they did for him 😭 We had a trainer come in because he was literally eating our home 😱 We followed his instructions and what happened after that turned him into a resource guarder. He was amazing to us but protected our home and our vehicles vigilantly. Some people think that that’s a great thing but when someone came to our home that he didn’t know it was a bad thing! We had a couple nipping incidents so we called another trainer to help us. Sadly he went after her and bit her badly. 😭 that’s a feeling you don’t ever want to feel! I really had lost hope and how we were ever going to fix him! I rescued this dog! I couldn’t be the person to put him down because he was aggressive. How could I call myself a rescuer if I did that. 😭Thankfully the game warden referred us to Rolling Acres!! Tiffany is incredible! She took us under her wing she boarded River for two weeks! She said everything was gonna be OK and she was right!! ♥️ She worked with him for two weeks teaching him how to be a dog again and teaching him to love people again! Taught him obedience and even patience! I am blessed and grateful to have met her and to help us enjoy river for years to come! He is still a work in progress but he is a completely different dog to this day! Every day is a learning experience and every day he shows us that he’s willing to do his part!

Tiffany is wonderful. Great communication the entire time my Cassie is there. Very easy to book even on short notice. She has gone above and beyond to make sure I feel comfortable and Cassie loves getting to be around a family with kids. They have a large property and the dogs get to take long walks and run around. Cassie always comes home worn out from so much playing. Highly recommend Tiffany!

I would strongly recommend Tiffany to take care of anybody's dog. She is a smart businesswoman and very caring person. Dogs will be lucky to spend some time with her on her property and surely look forward to going back.

Great place for your fur babies. Very easy to work with, they take great care of your pets, and flexible. I had my Bernese Mountain Dog groomed there and he looked great at the end of his stay.

Definitely a hidden gem. Had a last minute emergency. I called to have my dog boarded and all places booked because it was a summer weekend. I spoke with the owner Don from Hamlin Kennel who took my dog. Sometimes emergencies erupt and Hamlin Kennel definitely stepped up making my emergency a lot easier on one end! When I picked my dog up an employee I spoke with was very professional and gave me great detail on my dog while she kenneled. It definitely seemed my dog, Sandy, was very happy while she was there. Thank you again Don and the Hamlin Kennel team!!😊

Professional, friendly and attentive from the drop off to pick up. Straight forward pricing at very reasonable rates. The kennel was very clean and staff answered all of our questions and sent us updated texts on how Gus & Oliver were doing. Highly recommend!

Do not take your dogs here, my friend was charged 800 for a week. And was not told about the price change. And the dogs didn't get a bath or anything special. What is going on when people charge more then they say and it's not that great service . Everyone needs to pay what they are told , not more when you pick up . Be safe out there , don't let them take advantage of you. And our pets.

The charges when we picked our animals up were different than what we were quoted when we made the reservation for our dog and cat. There were additional charges that we understood because our dog needed quarantine, and our cat was not doing well and needed medication from the vet. None of those additional charges were the issue. What was the issue was we made it clear our cat was diabetic when we made the reservation and we were told that it would cost five dollars per dose to give him his insulin twice daily. When we went to pick them up, we were charged $15 per dose instead of the five we were quoted which was a difference of $400. It takes less than 15 seconds to give a cat a shot of insulin in the scruff of his neck twice daily 10 hours apart. When I commented about the difference in the price with the owner, he told me there was no wiggle room In the final bill. I believe our pets were treated well and cared for but I also feel that advantage was taken Because we were on an extended vacation and they just figured we’d pay whatever. I don’t believe I would use them again.

A hidden doggie gem! I have a very energetic rescue pup. Was looking for a local place where she could get some open play and socialization. Was recommended by friends and very thankful. This is a great place, such wonderful people. Fair prices, good hours, clean and tidy. My pup knows when we’re turning the corner and gets so excited!

I have been taking my Fur babies to Hamlin Kennels for the past two years! If you were to ask anyone who knows me, I am VERY Particular about where and with who I trust to leave them with. To say this Kennel was a great choice would be an understatement!! They are Wonderful!! After a complete tour and meeting several of the staff members I was absolutely positive I couldn’t go wrong and I was right. They took excellent care of my girls each and every time. They always came home smelling clean and fresh and happy! The owner is very responsive to calls and treats your fur babies as his own. As for pricing.. it’s all laid out in front of you before you make a reservation and if your still unsure it’s on the boards in the office or the owner is more than happy to discuss with you. Prices are more than fair for the services offered. Unfortunately I have recently relocated states away where the prices for boarding and grooming services are much higher. Hamlin Kennels are hands down the best choice for the area & we are truly going to miss them.

Great experience!! After bringing my dog here for numerous years I cannot believe these negative reviews which do not reflect my experiences. The staff is wonderful, professional and always willing to accommodate me and my pup and more importantly my dog gets excited to come here and use the facility along with the dog park. There is an information sheet with policies for new customers which you read and it’s obvious that the people with these negative things to say did not take the time out to read it pertaining to holidays, drop offs and pick up times. Don’t be discouraged from these demanding people, try them out and you will be very happy!!!

Thank you to the entire staff for allowing our boy to have a wonderful "vacation" while we were away. They set up a stay tailored to his needs and gave us the peace of mind we needed to feel comfortable choosing their establishment. He was happy to see us when we arrived but also looked back at a staff member who brought him out to us with a doggy smile and a spin as if to say "hey thats my mom and dad" and share with her his happiness of us being there before running into our arms full of joy. We could tell he felt comfortable there and when he came home he was his happy playful self. We played for hours and then he took a very relaxed nap afterward. It was difficult for me to be away from him for the time we were on vacation but the staff responded to my check in texts and kept me up on how he was doing. They loved him and he loved his stay. This is now the only place we will consider for his future vacations and plan to set up play dates soon.

We are so thankful that a friend recommended the Mehoopany Pet Lodge for our 80 pound 9 month old puppy! Our boy is a rescue and he is afraid of, well, everything! They took excellent care of him and by the end of his overnight stay (it was a "test" to see how he did), he was sitting in their laps and giving them kisses. Which speaks volumes because he is quite selective with who he trusts! We now feel comfortable leaving him for a week and we have only wonderful reviews for this kennel!!!

I won't go anywhere else! The owners are competent, patient, and very friendly. We have two boston terriers which we borded while away for two weeks. They were kind enough to send pictures of their interactions with the pups every couple days. They looked like they were having more fun than we were! They are reasonably priced and have far more to offer than anywhere else I've seen. Outdoor play area, indoor run, indoor play area, kennel , etc and they made sure the dogs had plenty of exercise daily. They also handled a somewhat involved medication and feeding schedule with ease. I trust them to take care of my fur babies and recommend them to everyone.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Debbie & Steve are so friendly and truly care about the animals that come to stay with them! Our dog is very cautious around new places and people, so they were kind enough to let us bring her in a few days early to sniff around before she went to stay for a week. Willow has stayed with them a few times now and they are so kind and attentive to her. We got multiple pictures of Willow playing outside and they try to update you every few days. They always spend one on one play time with each dog to make sure they are happy!

I had to make a last minute reservation for my two pups and the mehoopany pet Lodge was very accommodating and allowed me to make an appointment that day. It was such a relief due to me and my family going on vacation to Virginia and I was not aware that I wasn't allowed to bring dogs to the house we were staying in. Their prices are fair and lower than most boarding businesses. Throughout the week Deb updated me on how the dogs were doing and sent me pictures which also put my mind at ease seeing that they were very happy being looked after by then. I highly highly highly recommend!☺️👍

My dog, Lipi, was there in June. A day before he returned, I was informed he had some scratches on his nose, likely from shrubs or bushes. I didn't make much of it but when he returned decided to take him to the vet anyway. The side of his face was matted with dirt and under that was a huge gash and swelling. See photos. The nose injuries were worse than I had expected. My dog had to be on antibiotics immediately and it was an extremely stressful time. The vet guessed that he had been attacked by another dog given the nature of the wounds and what appears to be teeth marks on his nose. My dog is extremely mild and meek and sweet - he rarely even barks. He must've been so terrified. This camp came so highly recommended and I could tell by the photos of the first few days that he was having a wonderful time. But this dereliction and negligence - to not check to see if he was injured after scratches on his nose were noticed, that no one seemed to have noticed or seen that he was attacked and injured - because he would've certainly cried. And if he hadn't returned home when he did, the danger of it getting infected. I appreciated the refund and I get the feeling they care about the pets in their care but perhaps they are too oversubscribed or understaffed. Certainly not all the staff has been trained to take care of the dogs and supervise at all times. I hope they addressed these issues but so so disappointed with this camp.

I never leave reviews unless I have strong feelings. We LOVE Eva's Play Pups. I was referred by a coworker who sends their dog to camp. Now, Tiger has been 3 times over the past 2 years and loves it more and more each time he's there. I've never heard of such a great experience for you pup and the staff makes it even better by sharing your pups experiences with you via FB! Professional photos and videos of your pups group. They have exceptional staff members with great customer service. They deserve every 5 star review. Shout-out to Konrad for keeping the pups safe and comfy during van service.

Update: just adding a photo of their winter fun. Eva’s does provide dog coats for the winter though you have your own. When I dropped them off, they were so happy and they loved the snow. They have done late spring, fall and now winter. It’s all season fun and good care! Original Post: I took my two Rat Terriers for an 8 day getaway while I went on leave. It’s a bit of a drive, but the outdoors experience for them is what I wanted. They get to play and explore in the outdoors. I took them there for a two night stay last year to see how the would like it and they seemed to, but when I brought them back for this stay and they almost pulled me down to get in, I knew they were excited. You get updates via Facebook with photos and videos. For long stays, I want them to be outdoors and having a great time. If your pups are a bit on the pudgy side and need an exercise program, this would do it. Make sure to pack extra food because they do slim down when gone for a while, if they don’t usually get this level of outdoor activity.

My dog Tyson had the best time at camp!! I loved the videos, pictures and report card. I feel better knowing when I’m gone he’s receiving lots of love attention and fun !!

Eva is a dog angel, and her team is just amazing! They have a very high standard of quality, care, and safety that is just unmatched, not to mention ongoing training for team members. We have sent Ryu and Soi many times to Eva’s and hands down this is the best experience and the best place for our active dogs. They always have the best time! The staff is extremely attentive to our dogs and they are always giving us updates about their health when they stay for a long time. They are constantly sharing photos/ videos of them every day. We have sent our dog to Eva’s for longer vacations over the past two years and have been beyond satisfied every time. The pup loves it, the daily photos are incredible and so reassuring, the communication is clear and prompt, and even the van pickups are smooth, well coordinated, and we can instantly tell our dog is safe and well cared for. They even send a sweet little report home after each stay. This place is wonderful!

We had an awesome first experience with them. We send our pup here for a long stay and be returned happy, healthy, and cared for. The pickup/drop-off service is super convenient too. The camp counselors take awesome photos and videos daily so you always have a little record of your pup’s activities. They are super responsive through email and we’re really good with our laundry list of food specs and supplements.

Eva took personal care of my dog when my dog was uncomfortable in the kennel, and worked to ease her back into the environment. I was directly informed of everything going on and received pictures and videos when my dog was away from the normal pack. Especially in busy times of the year when there are seasonal workers and lots of dogs at boarding facilities, it was a great relief to know my dog was being cared for so thoughtfully and thoroughly when she exhibited signs of distress.

Our pup Yoshi has SUCH a blast there (outside of NYC and able to run around!) when we were gone for ten days and was well taken care of. We felt so much ease that he was there with a lot of care and didn’t have to worry. Thank you Eva’s!

Canine Country Quarters, what would we do without you? Our precious pup, Gertie, has been to CCQ four times now and has the time of her life there! And who could blame her? She gets to run, swim, hike, chill and snooze at her home away from home, while mom and dad do their thing with absolutely no worries - a vacation for everyone involved. Thanks to Seth and crew for being trustworthy, responsible and all-around awesome!

Have used Seth Cooper and Canine Country Quarters for my dogs, Mister Moose and Zeppo Marx. They take exceptionally good care of all the dogs entrusted to them; send updates and photos; and pick-up and drop-off on time. I would never hesitate to use them in the future.

CCQ is THE BEST place to board your pets in the greater tri-state area. Our dog (Chief) has been going there for the past few years and have had an amazing experience each time. He is excited when they arrive to pick him up and he comes back extra tired with a fresh bath. They are also very active on Instagram (@caninecountryquarters) and send photos often so you can stay in touch, even when you're away. They limit how many dogs they take in, but always have a steady stream of new friends for Chief to play with! Very competitive rates to kenneled places in the city, but you will know your dog is never locked up and bored. Keep up the great work! On a weekend out of town we sent our 9 month old puppy, Monty, to canine country quarters and he had a great time. The owner Seth was great and picked him up from his daycare (we had an early flight) and dropped him back at our apartment in Brooklyn. If Monty could talk I’m sure he’d be begging to go back every weekend. He came home clean, happy and oh so tired. We’ll definitely be sending him in the future!

It is beyond evident that our dog Frankie loves going to Canine Country Quarters! While Frankie is an enthusiastic greeter, there is just no comparison between her seeing anyone else to when Seth comes to pick her up! Pure excitement and just can't wait to get in that van! The staff we have met or have communicated with have all been lovely and as well as sending us pictures of Frankie, (a lot of swimming and running with other dogs and digging...) the care takers are very personal and seem to genuinely care about her. Generally, everything seems quite easy and smooth when planning a stay and they are always accommodating.

Our dog Lucy has gone to Canine Quarters three times and from what we can tell when she arrives home, although she missed us she is exhausted from all the running around and exploring she gets to do for hours on end with the other dogs. I love that these dogs get to roam freely (with gps collars) and just enjoy the suburbia life! We love the texts we get from Seth, the owner, with pics of her and especially love the pick up and drop off service and the grooming before they come home! Simply can’t ask for better than that. We will continue to take Lucy there whenever we are out of town for a long period of time. Thanks Canine Country Quarters for taking such good care of all the pups.

Canine Country Quarters is the perfect sleepaway camp for active dogs! My 75-pound goldendoodle Gracie has loved every stay she's ever had there, no matter what the season! She gets to run, swim, hike, sleep, dig, fetch, and just hang out--no crates, no cages, just free-range dogs in an idyllic farm setting, with supervision and loving care. Located in northeastern PA, about 2.7 hours from NYC, CCQ owner Seth Cooper picks up and return dogs, posts photos/videos, feeds and plays with them, and outfits each canine guest with a GPS collar so he and his crew can monitor the dogs at all times. And just in case, there's a nearby vet a mile or so down the road... What I like best about CCQ is how much my dog LOVES it there. I feel safe and confident that she's being well looked after, and when she comes back, she sleeps for a few days--a very good sign that she had a great time. Seth is very accommodating, and does his best to match his schedule to yours. Dogs get a go-home-clean bath at the end of their stay, which is a nice bonus. You can send your dog's own special food if you wish, or Seth feeds them healthy kibble. One day, maybe we humans can spend some quality time in the country right along with our pets!!

I have sent my Bichon Frise Tiger to Canine Country Quarters several times. Seth and his team take such good care of my pup and I have such peace of mind when we are traveling knowing he is in great hands. He comes back happy, fit and and a bit exhausted from the playing he does all day….they take extra care to make sure the "little dogs" are comfortable and secure. I get several texts with pictures of Tiger from the team during his stay…he always looks so happy when he is there..

I rarely post reviews, but Canine Country Quarters deserves a great rating. They take great care of our beloved pooch, and give her the freedom, companionship, and love that all dogs want. They have a great place where dogs can run, swim and play with each other in a safe, natural setting. What could be better? I offer my highest recommendation!

My beloved Jack Russell Terrier passed earlier this year but for many years I trusted Canine Country Quarters to board her for stays as short as a long weekend or as long as a three week vacation. She had many great stays there and always came back happy and well rested. She loved going to the country and she loved the owners. I can't say enough good things about CCQ.

We have tried several places to board our Nina & Bella. The places were all cages for the dogs & our dogs are not use to being caged. They love interacting with people & other animals. We then found Barks Town Country, Chris & Brooke are the nicest people! We knew from our first time meeting them they love animals. Our dogs loved going to their home where they got the same care there like home. Our Bella has a medical issue & when she gets nervous there is always a change in her bowel movement. Going to Barks Town Country there is no change in Bella 🥰. Both Nina & Bella come home exhausted from playing so much. We are so grateful that we found them & we highly recommend them.

If you have been worrying about finding a safe and comfortable place to leave your dog overnight, you can breathe a sigh of relief. These are your people. I had been dreading the day when I would have to board our 2 year old dog. She is used to being with family, is a sweet pup, can be a little nervous and is a bit spoiled... I just didn’t see her faring well in a traditional kennel. I found Brooke and Chris Rivera’s BarksTown site and thought it would be too good to be true... However, I’m pleased to tell you that they are amazing. They took our dog into their home and gave her what seemed like a little “vacation” of her own! Our dog got first class treatment that included walks, lots of play time, snuggles, daily brushing, lounging around a super cute home and best of all, she made new friends with the Rivera’s over-the-top cute dog, Marshmallow. I received pictures and daily updates on our dog that included details about how she was adjusting and overall reassurances that she was having a great time! When we got home and reunited with our furry family member, she was relaxed and just happy to see us again. She was bright eyed, rested and even smelled good! We boarded our dogs with BarksTown Country this past weekend and I couldn’t have been happier! We have two Rhodesian ridgebacks who can be a little hard to handle, and on top of that, they're my babies so I am VERY overprotective of them and am extremely picky about who watches them. I’ve been looking for an in home boarding service for awhile now and am SO happy I found Barkstown Country. We've boarded our dogs at traditional kennels in the past and I just never felt comfortable leaving them there - one of my dogs would start shaking in fear the second we showed up at the kennel. But when we showed up at Chris and Brooke's, both dogs settled in instantly and felt right at home! We brought them out back to check out the fenced in play area and instantly they started playing!! This is when I knew we had come to the right place! When the dogs are inside they're not kept in a kennel, and can comfortably sleep on the couch or bed (which is exactly what they do when they’re home). Chris sent me pictures and updates throughout the weekend which gave me a peace of mind knowing they were happy and well taken care of! I’d highly recommend BarksTown country! We’ll definitely be using them again!

If you’re looking for a dog walker - then I 110% recommend Barkstown Country. We were having issues with our 6 year old medium sized puppers, Penny. She is housed trained and rarely had any accidents in the house until this passed winter. After a few weeks of consistent accidents we decided she needed someone to get her out of the house in the middle of the day. We reached out to Barkstown and that same day Brooke responded to us to set up a time for her and Chris to come and meet us and Penny and just get an idea of what we were looking for. Right away Penny (and us) loved them! They were so accommodating when it came to my Husband’s and my schedules (which at the time was consistently changing especially with the snow / working from home). After every walk we would get a text from Brooke or Chris saying Penny was good to go and occasionally we’d get an adorable picture of Penny enjoying the outside! We could tell that they just enjoyed taking care of your dog and gave them as much love that we would give our pup. We recently moved out of the area but Chris and Brooke still occasionally check in with us to see how Penny is doing! They’re truly amazing and caring people! Thank you guys for everything!

THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! I have never boarded my 6 year old Yorkie before and when I had a family emergency (my mother fell on Christmas) Chris and Brooke took my fur baby on short notice during the very busy holiday weekend. I was so nervous and stressed out at the thought of putting my spoiled yorkie in a kennel when hes never even been in a crate - thats when I found BarksTown Country which is kennel free at their own home. Chris and Brooke are the most genuine people and it was divine intervention that I found them because I will go back again and again. It was like having a friend watch my dog. They were easy to communicate with, sent me pictures all the time which totally put my mind at ease, and most importantly they treat your dog like one of their own - seriously! My yorkie snuggled with Chris' mom all weekend (they sent me pictures, she was literally holding him while snoozing like a baby in her arms on the couch) and their dog, Marshmallow, was the most friendly (and adorable) host. I think my dog actually came back to me in better spirits than when I dropped him off! Thank you chris, brooke and family.... can't wait to see you again!!!

We've been using BarksTown's services to walk our boxer Monday through Friday for the past year, and have been very happy. They're reliable, responsive, and clearly care about her. We just started using the BarksTown Country boarding services as well and it was such a relief to know our pup was in good hands while we were traveling. They shared pics and video of her throughout the week and their pickup/dropoff service made it incredibly convenient.

Chris has been taking care of my five cats for a year now. He sends photos of my cats when he visits and keeps me updated on how they are doing. Chris is gentle with my cats and they are happy with him. I’m am extremely satisfied with BarksTown Country.

The best ever!! I have a chihuahua. Pinto first stayed in August and I've used them every month since. Every time I call to see if there is availability for Pinto to stay they come through. Pinto absolutely loves staying with them. Wish I found them years ago!

When we travel, we leave our home and beloved animals in her care and never think twice about anything ! She is reliable, caring, prompt, and attentive. Lori Jean adores animals. Last summer we had a suspicious vehicle at our home, and Lori Jean went WAY beyond what her contract required of her. She dealt with the situation for HOURS, calling the state police, contacting us, staying while the trooper inspected our home. Not to mention our cats LOVE her. They come running when she arrives. Need I say more ??

Lori Jean is a wonderful person with a genuine love of animals. My dog took to her right away. She is happy to go with Lori,and comes back happy and looking well-cared for by Lori. I would NEVER leave my dog with anyone I could not trust completely. I am very grateful to have found Lori Jean.

Lori Jean's primary business is pet sitting. But when I could not find a property manager to keep an eye on my father's house through his final days in assisted living and ultimate death, I turned to her for house sitting services. Living 200 miles away, during a pandemic and during winter, she was a life saver. She visited the house, checked for things like leaking pipes, and texted me pictures of the thermostat. One day, the heat was off, and she not only reported the problem, she actually went down the basement, added water to the steam boiler, and fixed it. Have not used the pet sitting services, but we have traded photos of our pets, and her love for animals comes through loud and clear in her online postings. My highest recommendation.
