I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!

Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!

Misti
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly & Thomas
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

Pares is an experienced and quality sitter and we knew our cat Juniper (and a few plants) was well cared for. We received regular updates and photos which was really nice to have during our travels. While we missed Juniper, we could see that she enjoyed receiving cuddles and attention from Pares. Upon returning home, our flat was clean and tidy, and Juniper was very happy! Becca committed to the sit 8 months in advance and was great with her responsiveness in communication during the long lead up to the sit. She arrived early and got the low downs on the animals and house stuff prior to us leaving. She woke up crazy early to help us get to the airport and picked us up when we returned, which made the traveling so much easier on our end. She left the house spot-less (and this is no exaggeration), with the linens cleaned, and a wonderful meal waiting for us upon our return. She is an absolute gem of a person with a great sense of humor and a kind and compassionate nature, and she really enjoys the animals in her care. If you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies and your house while you're away, Daniel is your guy! I had discovered zeewoi just a couple of weeks before I was to leave on vacation and I was not only apprehensive if the website was too good to be true, but also under a real time crunch. I reached out to over 100 local sitters and several possibilities fell through. I was confident I would find the right sitter and when Daniel applied for the sit and I started to text and converse with him, I knew I had found the perfect sitter for my two cats! Daniel was upbeat and positive, articulate and personable, warm and caring, and he asked all the right questions about Lilly and Eli (I hadn't had the time to complete my Welcome Guide, yet!?!). I shared that I had an easy cat and problem cat -- Lilly, who is sweet, social and eats dry food, and Eli who is skittish, was periodically pooping outside the kitty litter box and was eating prescription canned food twice a day mixed with a probiotic and stool firmer. I asked if he thought he was up for the job and he happily said he was. Since he flew all the was from Chicago, I thought the least my husband and I could do was pick him up at the airport. When he arrived, he pulled out his notebook. He patiently walked with me as I reviewed kitty care, showed him around the house, and where he would be sleeping. He immediately picked up Lilly who was excited about meeting her new friend and Eli bugged out and down the stairs to the basement (his favorite hiding place!). We got Daniel connected to the internet, set him up at our dining room table and headed off to airport, leaving our house and kitties in the best of hands. Daniel wanted to make sure I felt comfortable and assured while we were away. He made sure to text with me every other day (he had asked my preference earlier), sent photos of Lilly being her cute self while Eli hid during the day although he gave me assurances that he was eating his food and using the litter box (there were a few accidents, but Daniel never complained about these additional duties). When we returned from our vacation, the house was also spotless and well cared for and Daniel had even washed the sheets for me! It is with utter happiness and complete confidence that I recommend Daniel as a fantastic Sitter. He is trustworthy, responsible, caring, and competent, and you can rest assured that both your house and sweet pets will be watched over and treated with TLC -- and will truly be in the best of hands while you are away!

If Macie and Roman ever apply to your post for a house or pet sit, I strongly encourage you to jump at the. offer. You will not be disappointed. They are among the top (if not the top) sitter I've ever had and I've been on this site for years. Primarily, they are very organized. In the weeks and days leading up to the sit, Macie and Roman kept me abreast of their plans and status. I felt very comfortable in the days leading up to the sit because I knew the plan we made to exchange the keys and walk them through the instructions would work as planned. Second, Macie and Roman really care. When they got to my apartment after a very long morning of traveling, I explained the care instructions and they were very attentive and cared about the details - asking very specific questions on how to care for my cat and apartment. I had some pretty specific rules about how to feed my cat and take care of him and Macie and Roman followed those exactly. Third, Macie and Roman make you feel comfortable while you are away. I got daily or twice daily updates about my cat. I got pictures which made me feel like my cat was having a good time. My cat came out of hiding very quickly and was snuggling with them and letting them hold him. It was so nice to see the pictures of them all bonding! Macie and Roman have a calming energy towards animals for sure! Macie and Roman were also very responsive when I reached out first - replying within 30 minutes. I really appreciated that. Fourth, Roman and Macie will take good care of your apartment/house. I came back to a SPOTLESS apartment. The towels were washed. The apartment had been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The dishwasher had been run. Everything was in its place when I returned. Honestly, cleaner than when I left it which is difficult since I am a very clean person. Macie and Roman also respects your property. We had a room we asked them not to enter and they respected that. In short, Macie and Roman are amazing. I would have them back in a heartbeat. Our boy Vinz just had his first stay with Stacey and Steven. They were amazing! So patient with our boy since he is still a pup! They sent pictures while we were away and let us know how he was doing throughout his stay. This gave me great peace of mind since it was our first time leaving him. They took great care of my dog, I loved getting pictures, videos and updates daily. My dog came home so happy, clean and well cared for ! The property is well fenced and kept my dog in , she was able to run and explore all she wanted. Our miniature poodle stayed at Pawsome Pet Services while we went on vacation. I received daily text updates and pictures which was great. Pawsome Pets is awesome! Like many of us, my dogs are my babies and when they’re at Pawsome Pets, they’re treated like a member of their family! They have full run of the house and yard. I get daily pictures of them playing with other pups or snuggling in the owner’s lap etc. Pawsome Pets allows me to go on vacation without worrying about my babies at all. They think they’re on vacation!!

Best care you could hope to find for your dog(s). I've known the owner, Tine, for a long time. She trains all her people how to correctly care for the dogs. They are loving and caring while setting appropriate boundaries. Plus, it's clean!
I can’t say enough good things about this place. We are from out of town and needed day care for our 13 year old mostly blind and deaf jack russell terrier mix. When we called, they were so welcoming. They invited us to come check out the place prior to leaving our dog. When we arrived we were pleased with the set up, cleanliness, number of staff working, and security cameras. The owner is on site and very pleasant. As our guy was too old to hang out in the small dog play area, they offered to keep him in the reception area with the staff. We were so pleased with this offer. Jacky spent the day and when we picked him up, he was in good spirits (land slept most of the evening. Be prepared to show proof of vaccination. Bottom line: great place, welcoming staff, good price. We felt good leaving our beloved dog with them.

We had left our puppy there for the very first time for three hours and when we went to pick him up he was completely covered in urine. Gross.
Extremely clean and well kept. The girls at Paradise care for the dogs like each dog was their own. Even though I only left my 3 year old terrier for a couple hours (she has separation anxiety) when I picked her up she was very content and comfortable with the girls. They took special care to make sure Sammi was comfortable.
We have we only been there once so far. Staff was really nice but I really would have been more comfortable if I could have seen the area my fur babies were taken to. It was described to me: yes, I am a helicopter mom. I was hoping google would have shown some pictures but only close ups of the dogs. I'm pretty sure I'll give it a 5 start once I'm more comfortable. When I picked up the dogs, they were more than ready to leave after an hour play time. They need time to adjust as well. I'm getting older and they need more play than I can give them daily. I think this will be a good option for them.

I am so thankful to Vickie at BOW -WOW PET SITTING!!! I am the kind of dog mom that puts my 2 boys Doug and Rusty (dachshunds) above myself. I set my house up so that THEY are happy and comfortable. I have a low bed,, doggie ramps everywhere and there are dog toys all over. I would say that they are a little spoiled ❤️🐾🐾❤️ I only trust a few people with my dogs. I recently moved to Fair Oaks. I searched online for pet sitting and called Vicky, the owner of Bow-Wow pet sitting and boarding. I asked many questions. I then looked at her reviews on Yelp and decided that I would give her a call back. She was able to take my dogs the next day. She was so great! My dogs were barking and have separation anxiety. I immediately felt comfortable with Vicky. She is very kind and obviously loves animals. Her house is set up perfectly - she can separate dogs if necessary but still see them, they are not locked away in a closed room. She had a big wonderful yard to play in. When I picked up my boys they were happy and not stressed. Now they WANT to go there! Even though I'm done moving I intend to to take them to Vicky's at least once a week because they love her and I don't take them in the car and leave them when running errands. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VICKIE AND BOW -WOW PET SITTING!!! She is reasonably priced and very accommodating. ******************!!!!💕
I am appalled at the neglect and inhumane treatment of my dog. We left my dog Roxxy there for the weekend over 4th of July. We made sure they were aware she was a rescue dog with anxiety, and we were guaranteed that our dog would not be left alone during the fireworks. After we got our dog home, that night we realized her mouth was severally injured. Apparently, she had been left outside in a metal crate during fireworks while the owners of Bow Pow Pet sitting went to the liquor store, and tried to chew her way out causing the damage to her mouth. Multiple teeth had been broken off, her gums were destroyed and she had literally chewed so long and hard the bone of her jaw was damaged. We were never notified that our dog had been injured under their care, we had to wait to find out when we got her back, and with the extent of the injury being as bad as it was I have a hard time believing there were no signs of blood or injury when it happened. The surgery to fix my dog's mouth was over $3,500, which Bow Wow Pet sitting never even tried to repay. I felt the owners of Bow Wow pet sitting were unprofessional and down right negligent to have let this happen. To top it all off, after multiple complaints from us they still have pictures of my dog on their website, against my approval, to advertise their business. Usually I am not one to write angry online reviews but I feel strongly that they were negligent towards my dog.
My dogs were well taken care of in a family style environment. Both had individual needs and their needs were well taken care of. Was so pleased with the great care both dogs received! Recommend!

My big boy Bengal, Dezi had a great time here. The facility was very nice and clean too. He got his own two room suite! The staff made him feel safe and loved and he wasn’t stressed when I picked him up. This was his first time away from home and I wasn’t sure how it would go. He will be coming back to visit again.
I have used Best Friends since 2002. All of my dogs have done great and I had a dog with some “issues” and she was handled well. There were never any problems after their visit at the “spa” as we referred to it. My two small dogs just returned from their spa visit and Max was on medication and he did great and our Gracie was happy too. Highly recommend!! 🐾🐾

We brought our Golden, Lola, here for the first time for a full grooming experience. She is terrified of loud noises--the girl who met us at check-in was extremely gentle with our dog, calming, and got her to settle down. We knew immediately that Lola was in good hands. They brought Lola out looking better than she ever has at any other grooming appointment--complete with a fresh bandana and bow. We loved our experience here!
First time with Best Friends over the Christmas holiday. She was pretty excited to go with the staff and seemed great when we picked up. We had a long delay on our return train ride and the staff was very understanding. I felt very comfortable with her accommodations and would definitely use them again next time we travel.
Best Friends pet boarding, daycare in Carmichael. The staff here is awesom! My Pebbles and BamBam really enjoy their overnight stays! They get lots of attention, treats and best of all have piece of mind knowing the loving care they are getting! Highly recommend boarding and Doggy day camp!

I can’t recommend country kennels enough! Our family sitter fell through less than a week before Christmas and when i called, they had space! We were so grateful! I was able to tour the facility and talk with staff when i was dropping off my dog. They also take cats which is a plus! They’re my new kennel home away from home!
Our dog had to be carried out of the facility by the staff because he didn’t want to leave LOL, I didn’t hear any complaints from the cat either. Courteous and professional they went above and beyond.
I am so GRATEFUL to have these wonderful people to look after my fur babies! You can tell they really care about your animals. It’s a great location, very secured and maintained. I was nervous leaving my pups for 7 days but once I saw where they would be staying and met the staff I was at ease. This will be my forever kennel for all future boarding needs.. We've been taking our dogs to Country Kennels for years now we lov Patti and Chris so much they take such good care of our dogs. Once I let my dogs out of the vehicle they run straight for the gate. I love knowing my dogs are taken care of.
Our two dogs are not indoor animals so bringing them here is less disruptive. As soon as we drive up they get excited. Once they are on leashes they head straight for the gate. They are treated well and cared for. Great place to board our dogs!

Cheryl is wonderful with our dog Bentley. We get daily reports with pictures. We think he has more fun at her house than ours with all the other dogs he gets to play with. We love knowing he's in good hands and isn't stressed out at a kennel. And Jesse is lovely with our kitten. We come home and our kitten is happy, the litter boxes are clean, the mail has been brought in, and the plants have been watered. And we know someone has been keeping a daily eye on our home. Great peace of mind!
We’ve used this company’s service several times now. All the sitters have been super. We’ve had someone do checks on our kitten, play and feed her. Another time we had someone stay overnight with our puppy and kitten. And another time private boarded our puppy at a sitter’s home. Every time we came back to happy, well cared for pets. All the sitters were respectful and responsible. Great peace-of-mind. We will definitely continue to use them.
Happy Tails Pet Sitting and Tamara gave me peace of mind that my 3-month old puppy would be well taken care. He was fed, played with and loved. Soiled bedding thrown in the washer. I received photos of him playing and an update with each visit. No doubt Happy Tails will be called on in the future.......
This was my first time using Happy Tails. Lindsay was my live in pet/house sitter. My cat is very shy but took to Lindsay immediately. Lindsay sent me updates and photos while I was gone so I had total peace of mind. I also came home to a very clean house. I will definitely use them again!
I took my puppies over there for the first time and they loved it! Tamara was very sweet and caring with them. The place allows them to play, sleep and be around other dogs (socialize) in a safe manner. It's convenient, and it's affordable.
Amazing place!! The facility is great, in the heat of the summer to have an air conditioned space for chows is a must. Tamara was beyond helpful. This was the third place I tried as I was having surgery and, I NEVER board my dogs so it was getting stressful. I had to leave them for a day and I immediately knew I’d found the spot just because I was having trouble getting them into the yard (because of my hip) and one of them slipped out of his collar and got away. Tamaras husband jumped in without hesitation and helped me round him up. Most places I know aren’t even comfortable with having them so to see him react immediately without a hint of apprehension was reassuring. As it turned out, a friend came up to stay with me for recovery so they were able to stay home this time. I’ll be having to go in again next year so I’ll definitely be taking them back!!
We are so happy that we picked Happy Tail Pet Sitting. Tamara and Jerry are really good and reliable on taking care of our Blu. Its so cool that Tamara updated us with pictures of our dog Blu. We can tell that our dog enjoyed his stay with them and he even gave them a thank you kiss💋 as we were leaving...
Our experience with Jessie has been amazing. It’s so nice to leave when you know your dog is in such good hands. She is reliable and always keeps me updated on how my dog is doing. We appreciate her care very much.
Great people and very responsive. We had to head out of town on short notice, but they were flexible in finding us a good fit for our two pups for pet sitting. One of our labs can be a pain and the Happy Tails Petsitting crew was patient and understanding. Great experience with them!

I used to be a loyal customer and highly recommended them, but I unfortunately can no longer support them after having a deeper understanding of their protocols. Before getting into the worst of it, I'd like to point out that they have astro turf which unsurprisingly causes dogs' feet to get irritated on hot days. In their report cards, they will simply say they noticed they were getting irritated and treated them, but probably won't tell you why unless you ask. I started as a client with my husky Freya. Unfortunately she died in their care due to unknown causes. Their story was she was outside and started having irregular breathing, so they took her inside where she collapsed and died. She was 9 and had glaucoma, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt even though she was otherwise a healthy dog who had no problems going on 3-5mile runs with me when the weather wasn't too hot. Looking back, maybe I should have been more skeptical. When I got another husky mix, Loki, I started boarding him there and he loved it. However after a little over a year of boarding him there with no major issues other than being an overly enthusiastic husky puppy, he developed a food aggression issue while in their care. Freya had some food aggression issues when I first got her and I have taken care of multiple dogs with the problem before, so I am very well educated on prevention and training for it. When I asked about their feeding protocols, they stated that they simply drop the food in front of the dog, leave the room for an hour, and then come back in to take it away to get pressure washed whether there is food left or not. When Loki first demonstrated food aggression, their response was to attempt to remove the bowl with their foot or a fake prosthetic hand. This is textbook what not to do and will absolutely CAUSE AND INTESIFY food aggression. When I pointed this out and suggested that they should implement standard sit/stay feeding protocol, use redirection techniques, or to not try to take the food bowl away while the dog is still in the room, their response was essentially that they don't have time to do that and don't want to train their staff in standard dog handling practices. They even commented that past customers have suggested the same thing. This tells me that they are entirely aware that their protocols can cause food aggression and that they refuse to do anything about it. Apart from this incident, Loki seemed to love all the workers I saw him interact with. They all looked on the younger side, but they were extremely friendly and positive. I just wish the owners cared enough to train them better.
From my work account 3 years ago: I have a Husky mix who’s a handful, mindful but energetic. The staff have always been patient and loving towards Luna. I feel blessed to live close enough to use Local Bark. Last year I traveled almost 70% of the time for work. Amazing staff. Reasonable prices. All types of services from Daycare and Boarding, to Grooming, to Day Training, Boarding School, and Puppy Prep School. THEY EVEN HAVE A WALK-IN POOL MADE SPECIAL FOR THE DOGS!! Large & Small Dogs are welcome, as well as PITBULL FRIENDLY!!! You can tell the staff LOVE dogs, and genuinely care about what they do. Very trustworthy, welcoming, and easy to leave your pets with. The girls at the front desk and attentive and polite, and make things like checking-in your dog, or providing any information needed about the business easy. I highly recommend The Local Bark for all your Dog Care, Boarding, Grooming, Training, and occasional swimming needs!
