I am struggling with naming our top adjective to describe Michael and Jeanne. "Conscientious" will likely be it but then again, "personable," "reliable," "organised," and "animal-loving" are top contenders. If you are reading this review and contemplating inviting this couple to watch your pets, then look no further. We have had a number of excellent house sitters but this pair was next level in terms of the love they showed our cats, Maxx and Nala. When we came back, we could our animals already missed them. These cats, who have never slept with anyone other than us, were getting in bed with them each night -- and that meant climbing stairs! The day before our trip, Nala got an ear infection and had to be put on steroids for asthma. Michael and Jeanne did not sign up for that when the sit was booked but they took it in stride. In the last-minute rush, I relayed that Nala needed her oral steroids morning and night. Michael read the RX label, indicating one dose a day, and contacted the vet to clarify. So you can see why "conscientious" is right up there. They saved Nala from an overdose! We were gone three weeks and they sent us just the right amount of pictures and videos. They bought cat toys (I forgot to put ours out!) and actively engaged with them, including 20-minute massages for Maxx. I truly believed them when they said they fell in love with our fur babies. The house was spotless (which was not important to me but truly appreciated) but I smiled when all six water stations in our yard were filled. They took seriously my love for and the needs of the wildlife in our yard. Our plants were all in good condition as well. Sensing they were "next level" when I met them, I predicted they would want to leave a meal for us upon our return. I asked them not to but they found another way to bow out with class. They made a donation to a nonprofit I work with instead. This I learned from the lovely thank you note they left. I hope they will consider Charles and I friends because we certainly feel that way about them now. What special people. If you book them, treat them well because they are going to do that for you for sure.

Anna was an excellent sitter - she took great care to understand all of the intricacies of taking care of the house and cats, asked lots of questions, and arrived on time and ready for the sit. During the trip, she checked in with updates, and upon returning home, left the space tidy and clean. The cats were happy and healthy, and seemed to have had a great time during the sit. Thanks Anna!

I feel that Julia is simply the best person and pet sitter I could ask for. They really cared for our cat and gave him lots of attention. She is flexible, upbeat, reliable, considerate and great at communicating. I highly recommend Julia and Chris.

The best cat sitters ever! They loved our cats and spent so much time playing with them and making sure they were happy! We had photos and videos every day with funny little messages and we came home to two very happy, healthy cats. The house was spotless and they even washed the linen and towels! They left us some cute Easter presents and breakfast shopping in the fridge, as we were returning after a long flight. We would definitely recommend Michael and Jeanne to anyone and hope they will come back to Teignmouth in the near future. Thanks very much for looking after our beautiful cats and our home x

Angel was absolutely the best house sitter we could have hoped for. She is a very warm, open and diligent person and our two cats adored her. She looked after our house and garden with really conscientious care. She won over our very timid cat, Billie, and sent regular photos of both cats looking supremely content which gave us perfect peace of mind. The house was completely spotless on our return and the garden was fabulous... no mean feat since there was a heatwave while we were away and she kept everything watered and in great condition. We would have Angel back at the drop of a hat and cannot recommend her highly enough.

My husband and I are so grateful for Cendy staying with our ~1yr old cat for nearly a full month. We were nervous to leave her for so long but Cendy had Wilma literally eating out of the palm of his hand and snuggling with him in no time. Cendy was incredibly communicative with us and attentive to Wilma consistently for the entire duration of the sit which was such a relief and gave us the piece-of-mind needed to fully enjoy our trip. We returned back to an impeccably clean apartment and a very content kitty. For the first few days back Wilma was definitely looking around for Cendy, missing her buddy. We (and Wilma!) would welcome Cendy back any time, especially for a longer stay knowing how responsible of a sitter he was. Couldn't recommend enough!

Kathryn was such nice and kind sitter that both of my boyfriend and me were grateful to have, including my cats!! My cats seemed having great time with her, being around her, chilling on couch with her, or even sitting on her. I got several photos of my cats from her with whort updates. I’m thankful that she let me do facetimes with her when I missed my cats. The house was clean and tidy when we came back. I definately will ask her again to sit my cats and house when I need. Kimberly was absolutely wonderful, and we couldn't have had a better sitter for our first experience with zeewoi. Marshmallow loved Kimberly instantly and our cats (who can be a little standoffish) opened up right away with her. Anna was a wonderful sitter for our furry friends. My dog, Luke, bonded with her and was sad when she left. My cats would crawl under the covers and curl up with her at night. She is a true animal magnet and lover. I highly recommend Anna to anyone who wants their pets to recieve first class love while away.

Kathy and Ron are the most accommodating sitters you will ever find. At my request they arrived a few days early and also made it clear they would be willing to extend their stay as needed. While at first they were a little uneasy about giving pills to our cat Sparky, they soon got the hang of it and did an excellent job caring for both cats even though the cats have very different schedules and needs. Kathy was great about keeping in touch with us and we knew they would be just fine for the several days when we were out of communication range. I would gladly invite Ron and Kathy back anytime and highly recommend them to you for your next getaway!

Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Fiona and team do an amazing job. We were lucky enough to get our rescue lurcher from here. The advice and help we received at the time and afterwards was beyond what we expected and so kind. We are now hoping to foster to help even a little with the inundation of dogs needing help.
By reading the below I want to share as well my experience a couple of years ago when we went to enquire about this pension for our senior dog, and when we received a hysterical answer from that lady telling us to "go out of her property" because we parked in front of the gate. If that lady has such hysterical behaviour and change of mood with humans, what happens with the pets when we are not here ? We thought we did something wrong but apparently this is a recurrent behaviour. Needless to say that we never enquired again about this pension.
We couldn’t recommend K9 and the whole team enough. We have just adopted our little Bunty who is a very scared pup that needs a lot of care. Our whole experience dealing with the team at WAW has been just unbelievable. From starting our process with conversations on instagram, our interview with Laura and meeting two Fiona’s - they are an amazing team. Fiona has checked in daily and provided so much guidance on how to make Bunty as comfortable as she can be. This has also really put our mind at ease and reassured that we are doing everything right for her. If I could give a 10 star rating I would. Fiona and her team know their stuff and what they are doing is just phenomenal- real life Earth Angels.
We have used K9 for 15 years + and are sure it is the best kennels for large and small dogs alike. The care and quality of life given the dogs is amazing and above and beyond. Are dogs have definitely had a positive experience and have been on holidays too while there! We are so glad to have found Fiona and Stephen, they are dedicated and professional.
I sent my dogs to Fiona's for years, she was always very blunt which didn't bother me too much as long as I thought she took good care of my dogs. But when I questioned an aspect of their care, she rang me and shouted at me on the phone and told me to take my dogs elsewhere. Owners do get anxious about leaving their dogs and expect to get reassurance not verbal abuse.

I cannot review the place itself but when I made an enquiry about getting my puppy in for a couple of nights, I got an extremely rude response from Fiona so I'd sooner never leave my puppy there as the response was very off putting

I have never come across someone with such a rude phone manner in my life. The female who answered the phone when I attempted to book my dog in for 1 night shouted at me and then abruptly hung up the phone. Maybe stick to dealing with dogs and not humans as your customer service levels are appalling!!! Avoid this kennel !!!!

Our two princesses stayed with Coralee when we went on a family holiday to America. We were nervous to leave them as we hadn't left them for this long before and they are both getting older and set in their ways. Pippa is diabetic and is prescribed insulin twice a day. We were worried this would be an issue for any kennel to take them. From the moment we arrived we knew they were in good hands, Coralee and her family are so loving and treated the girls like her own. She ensured I was kept up to date on how the girls were getting on and sent regular updates. The facilities are five star 🌟, Coralee made sure the girls were comfortable at all times and pampered them before they came home. I cannot recommend Coralee enough, we will sure to be back next time we need to travel
This is a five star experience for any little dog. Our dog is quite timid and is very much a velcro dog so I was really worried and upset at the idea of having to leave him for nearly 2 weeks. However from the first phone call with Coralee I just knew he was going to be so we'll cared for. And I was right. He was treated like one of the family in their home with buckets of love and attention. Coralee sent me daily updates and videos of my dog so I could see for myself he was truly happy and content. I cannot recommend Coralee and Jake at The Paw Seasons Resort highly enough! I had looked at many boarding/kennels before coming across Paw Seasons, and I am so glad I found it! My Scooby is very precious and rather spoilt so I knew he'd need a place where he's shown loads of attention, affection and love. Well Coralee and Jake certainly does this, and more! He has stayed three times now and is so happy there. Coralee sends regular updates, photos and videos, which is lovely to see, knowing he's having a wonderful time. The grounds are stunning, with lots of land for play time, and fab bedrooms for the doggies 🐕. Coralee and Jake are real dog lovers with vast knowledge. It is worth the hour drive to know my dog will be looked after so well. I wouldn't go amywhere else! Thanks as always 🥰
Our dog Eric absolutely loved his time at The Paw Seasons while we were away for two weeks. Coralee treated him as if she was his own. She was incredibly understanding and accommodating as Eric had a very serious injury last summer and we were anxious about leaving him. She was very thorough in learning about Eric’s needs and schedule. The communication was excellent while Eric was at The Paw Seasons and we felt so reassured that he was being well looked after. The grounds are beautiful and Eric was well exercised every day. I cannot recommend The Paw Seasons enough, Coralee’s knowledge and love of dogs is exceptional.

Coralee’s knowledge of dogs is second to none and the photo and video updates she sends mean we can always enjoy our holidays in total reassurance. Hubie had the most amazing time in Paw Seasons , he was treated like a prince , and we got regular updates when we were on holidays. Our Corgi stayed in the Paw Seasons for two weeks while we were abroad on holiday. We had been recommended the kennels by another family member, so we had a good idea that our dog would be well cared for. We got a very detailed tour of the custom built facilities at the Paw Seasons when we arrived to drop off our dog. Coralee gave us loads of time, fully explaining where our man would be housed at different times in the day and where he would sleep. She made a huge effort to welcome our dog and her experience as a dog handler and trainer was immediately evident. She also stressed that while he would see and interact with other dogs at the resort, at no time would he physically be with another dog, be that Coralee’s own pets or other guests at the resort. The resort is surrounded by lovely countryside and woodland, which our man really enjoyed on his daily walks. And he came home looking great after Coralee gave him a de-shed treatment. We have already booked him in for our next trip away!
As someone who has never left my dogs for more than a night I was very anxious but Coralee and Jake were so welcoming and understanding that i knew straight away that my girls would be very well taken care off. It’s a lovely place they have a real home from home and straight away you can see how much they love dogs. Both my dogs were extremely well looked after and im sure if they could talk they would say what a great time they had. I’ll never be able to thank Coralee and Jake enough for taking such goid care of them your both wonderful caring people. We will 100% send our girls on holiday to you in the future. Chewie spent a week at the Paw Seasons over Christmas and we were delighted and relieved to have found a suitable minder for him.
