I have Katya cat sit my 6 cats when we are away. She is exceptional with her care. She loves my cats & plays with them when she is here. I am very particular about my fur babies, they are my family so having someone I can trust with them is monumental. I love her like a Granddaughter. The first time I met her I knew she would be absolutely great with my babies. She is the best there is!

Katya and her team are fantastic! She’s accommodated me on EXTREMELY short notice more than once, a total godsend. Her rates are extremely reasonable for the amount of care she does. I love getting the pictures of my sweet girl when she’s on a walk or snuggling on the couch. I’ve used her for drop-ins, dog walking and overnight boarding. All have been fantastic experiences.

My experience with Katya has always been super positive. Whether i’m giving plenty of notice or in a pinch, she is always willing to help. I have two guinea pigs, so finding care for them is harder than I had originally anticipated. After meeting for a consolation (which was so kind of her to offer), I have had a phenomenal experience with her care. My guinea pigs always return happy and healthy (sometimes sad that they’re leaving her). I just appreciate how attentive Katya is to their needs!! Highly recommend!!

I hired this company and I was told the fee was $150 total but the babysitter who came and showed up to collect the remaining money said oh no ma’am it’s only $120 and I had 150 in the envelope, I rearranged my vacation to go away on August 27 to the 30th so that I could use the same babysitter Until I found out that the owner would not let up on collecting that extra $30 she was bent on communicating with me every day to get a $30 fee when I gave them 120 because of the babysitter saying oh no, you don’t need to give 150 I gave $120 She says I’ll just use the extra 30 for my Tip. I had arrangements to meet the babysitter to pay her on Saturday and this owner Katika was relentless on trying to collect that additional $30 from me. I already had it set up between the babysitter and I we were doing just fine until Katika got involved so if you wanna Cooperative Company who has their act together who communicates with their employees so they don’t try to charge their client more money than I would say go elsewhere because the owner of this company is not someone you wanna deal with. They are more interested in getting your money than they are and taking care of your dog

Katya took wonderful care of our black lab while we were gone for a long weekend at the beach! She sent updates with photos or videos with every visit which was very reassuring to know he was doing well. Would definitely recommend Katya to care for your pets and will have her come back again!

We looked for boarding at the last minute as we had adopted a dog writhing the past 3 months and decided on a weekday get-away spur-of-the-moment. Fieldcrest had good reviews, is located a few blocks away and had availability. Very clean kennel and friendly owners! We came back a little early and decided to pick the pup up early too…absolutely no issue & even surprised, all was perfect!

We needed a place to watch our 2 year old German Shepherd. Fieldcrest was available and happily took great care of our boy. They knew all about shepherds anxious behavior when away from home and we felt comfortable going out of town knowing he was in good hands. I picked up our boy this afternoon and he’s been napping on and off ever since which just means he had the best time and played his heart out. Thank you for taking care of our handsome guy! We will definitely be back!

Fieldcrest was very welcoming and kind to us as this was our first time boarding our new rescue. He is a 75 pound, Pit / Rhodesian Ridgeback/ cattle dog mix. So he he can be a handful! He was well treated and we were very happy with his stay. Thank you!

I have been taking my two puggles, Max and Miles to Fieldcrest for daycare since January. Katie and her daughters have been so kind and caring which has made it easy to leave them knowing they are well cared for. Max and Miles get excited when they know where they are going on Monday's and Thursday's. When I pick them up, they are tired from their long day of playing with the other dogs. I know if they could talk, they would tell me how much fun they had. Thank you to Katie and her daughters for taking good care of my boy's.

Do not take your dog here! Their German Shepherd attacked my dog and another dog the same week. At first they lied and said my dog scraped himself on a nail in the wood but when I took him to PETS (because he had a large open wound that was dripping blood) they said he had multiple puncture wounds from a dog. After I told them about it they said oh I bet it was our shepherd because he bit another dog the other day, Shame on them!!!!

I wanted to share that we boarded two of our three dogs at the new Fieldcrest Dog Boarding on Fieldcrest Road in Willow Street. It is run by one of our Amish neighbors. When we checked out the operation we were pleasantly surprised. The kennel building is brand new and the kennels are spotless. There is air conditioning/heat along with ceiling fans. Each kennel has both inside and outside spaces for exploring. In addition, each kennel opens into an open and fenced field area. Both our dogs were exercised every day-with a ball, and for no additional fee. We asked that they be kenneled together overnight to keep each other company and they accommodated our request. We received a phone call during the week with an update on our dogs. And for a small additional fee, the dogs were bathed/dried (they have a great inside dog bath area) and ready to go for us to pick up. I highly recommend Fieldcrest Dog Boarding. They knew we were a little nervous to leave our dogs and the owner promised they would take very good care of them and do their "very best" while we were away. Our dogs came home tired and happy. They are licensed by the state and I promised the owners I would share our experience here and in social media. Business has been slow--they opened in fall 2018 and count on word of mouth. They also have a small sign along Fieldcrest Road that leads to their farm. Please consider Fieldcrest Dog Boarding.

Absolutely love Fieldcrest! Katie and the girls take wonderful care of our dogs Molly and Thor and have been there for us in a pinch! The pups are always so happy to see them and so is Fieldcrest! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I have a 3 month old Welsh Corgi puppy that I had to find last minute arrangements for, for a few days, due to having to go to the hospital (and not be able to leave because of covid) to have our baby. Upset and incredibly worried about leaving him in the hands of strangers, I was immediately relieved and could not have more happier or more at ease once arriving here and meeting the family. They are the most amazing, genuine and caring people that without a doubt love animals as much as I did. The price per day is almost unbelievably cheap and they offer to bathe your dog for only $10 if you wish. I left my puppy, Gunner, there with full confidence that he would be treated just as well as if he was home and better and more reasonably priced than any other place I could have taken him. I would reccomend Fieldcrest to any dog owner that needs to be 100% assured that their pup will be loved and cared for by loving, caring, and knowledagble people who charge an extremely reasonable rate. The only 3 star review is from someone who has reviewed multiple places with 3 stars, and writes one positive word like "friendly" as the whole review. This place deserves an 11/10. I will forever support a family owned business such as this one who is passionate about what they do and will give their all into their customer service.

My dog Buckley is 12 years old and has never stayed with anyone except my brother. I was concerned he would be unhappy and worried staying anywhere else. He was very content and happy with Kat at Barks & Parks and seemed to bond with them right away. She sent pictures every day and updated me as to what she was doing with him. I felt very good knowing he was being taken care of and enjoying his stay. I would recommend Kat to give your fur baby a home atmosphere while you are away.

Kat was amazing with Noah during his 3-day boarding. I was immediately comforted when talking to her the first time, hearing about her experience and ambition in transitioning to animal care full-time. Her place was clean, spacious, with a quaint outdoor patio. Noah has separation anxiety so I was very nervous and picky about where he would stay. He was wagging his tail and happy when we picked him up. A 5-star experience! Thanks Kat!

This was our first time boarding our furbaby, Nala, so we were naturally a bit nervous. From the first moment we met Kat, she put us at ease and left us with the impression that she would love on our dog..and we were right! Every day, she followed our instructions and suggestions to a “T”; taking our dog on two walks a day, spoiling her rotten. I think Nala still misses her! 😂 if we are in need of boarding again, Kat will be our first choice and would highly recommend Barks&Parks Pet Services!

Kat took care of my dog as part of her doggie daycare service. She kindly both picked him up and brought him back to my home. While under her care they took several walks, and she shared pictures via a dog sitting app, which was awesome. When my pup returned, he was was happy and clearly had a great time. I definitely recommend Barks & Parks Pet Services based on my experience.

Our dogs love Kat and her boyfriend. One of our dogs gets excited anytime she gets in the car now, thinking she’s headed to daycare. Kat has been great staying in touch and keeping us updated throughout the day. We feel very fortunate that we found her. I have dealt with Kat for a few months now. She is so loving with my dogs and they love her. She’s very professional and I love the way she sends pictures after taking my dogs for a walk. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for any of her services. She also boarded my dogs for 2 days which also was great.

5 STARS!!! VERY Happy with this service! My dog Deanna is 10.5 yrs old and recently started having seizures (in March of 2022). We went on vacation in May and booked her with a local kennel (NOT this one). I couldn't confirm that they were or were not giving her her seizure meds, as when we returned & picked her up she had a seizure that night and several more a day afterward. Needless to say when it came time to go to Lancaster PA for a vacation in July which is 2.5 hrs from home, I was VERY worried on where I would leave her and what I would do if something should happen. THEN I found Barks & Parks Pet Services!! We drove out, dropped her off with Kat, and then went to our hotel which was 10 minutes away! Talk about convenience! Deanna had a WONDERFUL TIME there!!! She got along with the other dogs (which is not the norm!). When I first dropper her off the 1st day she seemed apprehensive which I expected. I did NOT expect to hear how well she was getting along with her new friends and how after a few days was fitting right in to her old routine! I wish I could leave her there ANY time we go away! This is a WONDERFUL alternative to a regular kennel. It is a regular house, where the dogs are in a more home-like environment as opposed to in a kennel. I highly recommend barks & parks!!

Kat’s service through Barks & Parks was exceptional!! Our little dog was walked and cared for so well, we were afraid she wouldn’t want to come home. We received twice daily updates on how she was doing along with the cutest pictures. We were incredibly pleased with Barks and Parks and would definitely use this home-like dog boarding service again!!!.

Our dog loves his time at Dog Sense! I've used them for daycare, grooming and boarding and trust them completely. The staff is great and truly care. Thank you Dog Sense for taking such good care of Rebel.

We tried in October/November of 2023 and again in April/May and couldn’t even get a phone call back. We called and emailed for weeks each time. The owner continuously made excuses as how she only checks emails once per day and returns phone calls at 11:00. We scheduled so many phone calls with her and then she just then didn’t take the time to actually call. She doesn’t apologize for wasting your time, and has no accountability that she is the one causing the communication issues by her unwillingness to actually adhere to the dates and times that she says she’ll call. The stress of her lack of follow up and lack of professionalism was not worth it.

Great location in the rolling hills of southern Lancaster County. Went for a private dog training session. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Facilities are nice but could use some “updating”. Would recommend going here.

My 1.5 year old crazy labradoodle LOVES daycare at dog sense. All you have to say is "cooper, wanna go to daycare?!" And he's at the front door ready. Pulling into the driveway he goes NUTS with excitement (whining, wagging, paws on window). And best of all, he is exhausted afterwards. I love knowing he's happy and comfortable all day while I'm at work. Sometimes I'll even catch a photo of him playing on their Facebook page or story, which I really appreciate.

Took our 1 year old dog to Dog Sense for two, 6 week long training classes (beginner manners and advanced manners). Our trainer (Kate) was great! She worked well with our individual needs and always had something new for our pup to learn. Definitely would recommend for training!

Everyone was really nice and my dog seemed happy. They didn’t tell me how she did so I don’t know. I don’t leave reviews but figured I would issue a fair warning to everyone, their boarding costs are per DAY and not per night! It says this on their website but I assumed it was per night, given that I wasn’t able to pick my dog up in the morning. If you drop your dog off on Saturday during their limited hours, and pick your dog up Sunday again within the small time frame, they charge you for two boarding days! Good service over all. Probably won’t go back for short stays though.

Love Dog Sense! The staff is always friendly and super sweet to our pupper. They offer two tiers of packages and you can further customize each one. We feel confident our dog will be taken care of here.

My dog, Arrow, just finished his last night of training with Kate! We are so sad that training is over!! Kate did an amazing job working with us and I’ve seen great improvement with my dog’s behavior over the last 12 weeks. I highly recommend their training classes!!

Absolutely wonderful facility!! Wendy is amazing to work with. She really knows her stuff- and ALL aspects of training whether it be obedience, rally, handling for shows, competition stuff; not just the basics. She also has personal experience working dogs in various venues and competitions, so I'm very confident in her ability to get us where we need to be to compete and prepare us!! She's not scared of big dogs like the petsmart "trainers"- I've worked with her with my doberman, and now currently my German shepherd, after the petsmart trainer was terrified of my 16 week old doberman puppy. We'll never go anywhere else for training again! Although I don't have much experience with the rest of her staff, Wendy has been responsive, flexible and overall a pleasure to work with, as well as extremely knowledgable in everything I've ever asked her about. I'm confident her entire staff is exceptional as well!

We took our puppy to training classes at Dog Sense. We did the Beginner Manners Class. We learned basic obedience skills. The trainer did a great job of teaching us positive training techniques. The trainer always made time to help with any difficult behaviors at home. Everybody got lots of individual attention. It was a friendly environment for all types of dogs and people.

I cannot say enough about Erin and her amazing team! They love on Lulu so much and are patient with how reactive she can be. Their communication is excellent and they leave my home pristine, always going above and beyond. I love not having to worry about Lulu because I know she’s elated to have her friends come and treat her like a queen!

We have used Barks n Rec frequently over the last year. As a “helicopter pet parent”, I’m always wary of leaving my cats behind to go on vacation, but not any longer! Barks n Rec staff are extremely communicative, reliable, and most importantly: great with pets. I can’t imagine ever using another pet sitter!

Erin was amazing with our dogs and cat. We have a reactive dog who takes a special person to handle as he is quite large. But she handled him no problem and with no incidents. She even walked our other dog last minute which we were extremely grateful for. Highly recommend Erin and will be using her in the fufure!

Barks `n’ Rec has been a blessing! We needed someone to check in on our 2 dogs and cat and they really came through. My dogs really like Erin. I've been using Constant Companion for dog boarding for several years and have always had the best experience. I have two dogs (one of which is reactive), and I have such peace of mind while away, knowing that Kathy has experience working with anxious dogs. Kathy is very responsive to messages, and booking is easy online! I would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you have an active or reactive dog!

I am a trainer in the Baltimore county area and frequently recommend Kathy for boarding, board and train, and her lovely Sniffspot property. She takes care of client dogs who are quite sensitive and need a lot of TLC, and is so great in terms of communicating with me and the clients. She is an invaluable resource.

The owner of Constant Companion has been providing us with excellent service since we moved to our current home in 2017. She has helped train our three dogs, boarded them for us while we travel, and let them out for pee breaks at our (sometimes very last minute) request. The quality of her property (indoor and outdoor) is hard to beat. She is expertly educated and trained herself, and we and our dogs have LOVED and trusted her. Our only living dog now greatly looks forward to going to her property to play and enjoy outdoor time. We would be in big trouble without her!

I rented out fenced in space for my dog to play (through the Sniffspot app). The owner met me, my husband, and my dog at our car to walk us to the entrance (about 4 yards away) as it was our first visit. Right away she was very cold, we were met with no customer service and no greeting. On our very short walk to the gate she began giving us unsolicited “training” and would not let us enter the play area unless we did with OUR dog as she told us (a well trained dog that was on a leash and harness at all times from exiting the vehicle). She said that putting our dog into a “down” position (a trained behavior she enters on voice command) for a few moments to calm and focus her upon arrival to a brand new, exciting environment was “aggressive” and that our dog was “scared”. It was such a terrible experience that we immediately turned around and left. We will not be coming back and I do not recommend coming here if you’re looking to have fun with your dog.

Took 10 month old bernedoodle for day care while we went to the beach. He’s always been with one of us , he loved going. Barked in morning to go. One morning Jim the owner met us on the sidewalk Murphy pranced right in with him & never looked back. Everything was super organized & clean!! The price is great they get 2 walks, plenty of attention, interaction with other dogs & best of all peace of mind that he was with good people having fun. Jim gave us wonderful tip on a different leash that was life changing.Murphy now loves meeting other dogs & isn’t freighted. Thanks so much Jim & Alexa

I left my Newfoundland there for the night (first time) and she had a great time... presumably :). She was walked frequently, and got excellent care. I was definitely impressed. She didn't get a bath with her stay but I didn't ask for one either. I will definitely be returning!! Thanks, Jim and dogwalkers. I appreciate a good business like yours.

First time at Dewey Beach with a dog [puppy]. Jim's service and care for our puppy could not be any better and exceeded our expectations. First, he was super flexible in regards to our doggie day care needs. As our beach day timing varied, he accommodated every drop off & pick-up request. As for our puppy. Ourt Scoutie loved it. Jim matched him up each day with another puppy under his care, based upon dog personalities. His judgement was spot on with his 'match making' in putting the dogs together. We look forward to using him again on a beach vacation, whether it be Dewey or Rehoboth based. It will be worth the trip to drop our dog off.

The service is amazing, The staff is willing to work on prices and you won’t find better care anywhere else, Linnea takes the time to actualy play with all the dogs instead of just letting them be by themselves in a crate, she works very hard to make sure all her customers are happy with their experience and is willing to work with her customers to make sure their dogs have the best care possible!! Highly recommend the pet care service!

Avoid at all costs. This facility looks like a kennel. Hard floors are rough on big dog's joints. The dog's share amenities - like chew toys which is not healthy. I don't trust this place and will not be bringing my dogs back!
