Maria took care of our senior, three-legged kitty Moo while we were away for thanksgiving and I knew from the start our beloved boy would be in good hands. She was very responsive and made the entire process painless. Our cat settled in right away, despite us being nervous about how he would handle it. He loved Maria instantly and we were able to enjoy our trip knowing he was well taken care of and loved. In addition, we were updated daily with sweet photos, and the rates are very reasonable! Highly recommend and will use Maria again if we ever need pet care while we are away. She is an animal lover and great at what she does!

I've been hiring Maria for pet sitting of my two kitties for about a year now. She is wonderful with my kitties and they love her! Maria has pet sat for me while on extended trips, Most recently though, she swooped in and saved the day while I had a medical emergency and was hospitalized. I was out of kitty litter and on my way to buy more when I had to go to the ER. I contacted Maria from the hospital and she was able to pick up litter and feed my cats. I don't know what I would have done without her! I've also boarded my cats before I found Fur The Love of Your Pet. Its definitely reassuring to know that my cats can stay in the comfort of our home and are in good hands with Maria. She is reliable, shows up at agreed upon times, and always sends a photo or video at each visit. Maria is someone that you can trust and rely on. Her love of pets is unmatched.

Have been using Maria for about 4-5 years now so this review is long overdue. Maria does a great job looking after our kitties every time we go out of town. She is flexible and easy going and most importantly an animal lover. I could tell the minute I met her. I have been pleased each time I use her. Her services also include: picking up the mail, watering plants, food water play time with your pet, leaving daily notes, and she even texts us pic updates! When we discovered Fur the Love Of Your Pet it came from staff in our long time vet’s office. What a find! For the last 2 years Maria, whose soul is deeply entangled with her furry friends, has reliably fed, played with, and handled other well-being duties as needed by our kitties. She was invaluable when taking on end-of-life maintenance fluids and medications for our 18 yr old cat while we needed to be out of town. She has kept up in her formal training as a vet tech. Each visit is documented real time over her cell phone to us showing a gps map with her current location, a brief description of our kitty’s health along with a photo, and the time checking into the house and leaving the house. She has good communication skills, good attention to the cat’s needs, and a real love for her furry charges. Do not hesitate to trust your pet to Maria!

I cannot thank Precious Petcare and my Wedding Pet Attendants (Hilary & Tory) enough!!! First of all, Leila and her staff were very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, and they ensured that my 2 fur kids would get the best care possible for my big day. When the big day came, I felt SO comfortable with Hilary & Tory’s capabilities as ‘temporary’ dog mommas for my special day. It took such a HUGE burden and relief off of my shoulders, knowing that they were in such good hands. They were both able to keep my pups calm and happy, even with Scooter’s terrible separation anxiety! They also followed my detailed instructions to a TEE, and walked our ‘Ring Bearer’ and ‘Flower Pup’ down the aisle with no issues! They did an amazing job getting their energy out by constantly walking them around, letting them enjoy nature (they even saw a deer), playing with them, and keeping them well treated and extra cozy (Scooter was warm and wrapped in a blankie when he got chilly!). They truly watched them like hawks, snuggled them, and treated them like their own. When I saw them both with the pups (and heard nothing but amazing comments from my guests!), I knew that they were in amazing hands and I could be calm, relax, and really enjoy myself. They were also a great influence on my young pup, Millie, and her shyness around other people! We noticed such a huge improvement in Millie the day after the wedding! She was like a whole new dog. She’s so much less skittish after having the opportunity to meet with so many guests. I thank Hilary & Tory for giving her that opportunity, as it was much needed for a young rescue dog! They were stellar at their jobs —- they were punctual, kind, calm, professional, organized and dedicated. I also can’t thank them enough for the amazing photos that they sent. They are my absolute favorite photos for sure, and I’m so glad that they captured those moments for me (as the bride misses all the fun! Lol). I highly recommend Precious Petcare!!! 5 stars

We had Hannah with us for our wedding weekend and she exceeded all of our expectations caring for our maltipoo Bear! She continuously went above and beyond to make sure Bear was well fed rested and at the places she needed to be all weekend to be part of our celebrations. I was over the moon knowing Bear was in great hands for 4 days with Hannah until we came back to our hotel every day. Bear was able to join every event we hosted for our guests and I couldn’t be happier! Hannah even helped us every time photos were taken to make sure Bear was smiling & she helped coach Bear to walk down the aisle. Highly highly recommend precious pet care for your wedding or every day sitting needs!!! I wish they were closer to us in Los Angeles so we could use them on the regular :(

My husband and I just returned fron 6 weeks overseas. This is the first time leaving our 14 year old Calico Trixie using a pet service to visit. Our kids work and wanted someone to be with her during the week. We chose Precious Pet Care from Yelp reviews!! Not disappointed! Janna was our sitter the whole time away. She came 3 times a week. She shared pictures, communication/update and videos of how Trixie was doing. She respected our request to change Trix's ice water (spoiled kitty). Plated with her, gave her special treat! Brushed her. Cleaned her litter box. So much more. She treated her as I would have!! 🙂 Trixie was recently diagnosed with kidney disease and has specialized diet. From the start everyone Leila who helped me through the process made me feel secure and warm to their services.

I've used Precious Petcare the past few months for Doggie Daycare for my pup Cash. He always comes back happy and exhausted. This past week we were out of the country for our wedding and I felt at ease every time I received a daily update and pictures showing that he was well taken care of and enjoying himself with the other pups. Thank you Leila and the team for taking good care of my baby. We are so happy to have found this place for daycare and boarding.

We have taken our active dog, Anda, to Precious Pet Care for daycare, overnight stays, and boarding for the past few months. This is the first time that Anda has been to daycare and it is safe to say he loves its! Anda gets to play outside with all the dogs and gets lots of attention from the staff at Precious Pet Care. There is a good variety of dogs, and our dog has befriended the owner's dog. Whenever he comes home he looks very happy and is tired the rest of the day from all the play time. The staff are mindful to make sure he eats his meals and uses the bathroom regularly. They appropriately supervise to ensure he gets along with the other dogs. They also are very flexible with drop off/pick up times and communicative with us, sending daily updates with photos and videos. Most recently, he spent the holidays boarding at Precious Pet Care during our vacation. He definitely got a lot of attention, as there was a doggy holiday party with special treats, a Christmas photo shoot, and he came back with a gift bag and report card for his stay. We would absolutely recommend Precious Pet Care to anyone looking for a homey place for their dog to stay for any of the services they offer.

We booked Precious Pet Care for their wedding pet attendant service, and I highly recommend them!! We wanted to have our dog walk in the ceremony and have someone look after him at the Airbnb during the reception, but didn’t want to have any of our friends/family do it and miss out on the celebration. Precious Pet Care was the perfect solution! With everything that goes on during your wedding day, it was great to know that our dog was cared for and happy! Now I’ll be honest, our dog is not the best trained and can be very excitable, but Johnny did a fantastic job getting his energy out beforehand and keeping him entertained all day so he was comfortable when it came time for the ceremony! We got so many cute pictures with our pup too! It meant so much to have our dog with us on our big day and know he was safe and happy while we celebrated the night away! If that sounds like something you’d also want for your wedding, Precious Pet Care is the way to go!

Precious Pet Care was great in assisting us with the care of our pets Emma and Gracie on 4.02.23 - for my daughter's wedding! Leila was super helpful and responsive to our questions, and she and Ashley arrived early (before we did!) and were very attentive to Emma & Gracie during the course of the day - allowing my family to relax and enjoy this very special day! They made sure our girls were walked, fed, hydrated, entertained and calm throughout the day. They then returned them to our Airbnb, let them play outside for a bit, and made sure that they had food & water to last them until we returned. Before they left, they sent us pics of our pups relaxing at the house, which enabled us to enjoy the rest of the evening - knowing that they were safe, secure and had everything they needed. Without their awesome wedding pet attendant services, including our pups in my daughter's big day would have been next to impossible.

My dog Percy is really shy and is scared of everything and everyone. He just hides behind me whenever I take him to dog park. He takes a long time to trust a person or a dog. Leila has been phenomenal at taking care of Percy and she has helped him come out of his shell. She has been very patient and accommodating with him. She has made him a more confident and a playful puppy who can now explore the park on his own and play with dogs his size. Percy has been a part of Leila's doggie field day every week and I have been seeing drastic improvements in his behavior. All thanks to Leila! Percy loves her so much and he is so excited to see her every week. She even made this shy guy find his doggie best friends. I am very grateful that I found her and honestly, she is one of the best things that has happened to my Percy!

Absolutely loved this service for our wedding! We couldn’t imagine our big day without our pup and Leila made it all possible! She was amazing with Archie and it made the day less stressful! I couldn’t recommend Precious Pet Care more to other couples for their wedding day!

Hands down recommend Shannon to care for my furry babes! I have a senior black lab (12) and an elderly blind & deaf cat (19), so I can't entrust just anyone to care for them. Shannon is incredible! She gets on the floor to play with our lab and gently (& patiently!) brushes out mats for our kitty. And I LOVE that she's a vet tech; our dog needed her anal glands expressed while we were traveling over the holidays. Shannon let us know and was able to get her relief the next morning. I hit the lottery in finding Wildwood Petcare! We're raving fans.

We were in a bit of a bind when our puppy started her first heat, and Shannon from Wildwood Petcare came to the rescue! We posted in a Facebook group asking for help, and Shannon stepped right in. Our puppy was incredibly well taken care of. She even had an accident on herself, and Shannon went above and beyond by cleaning her up for us. Throughout the day, Shannon sent us several updates, which gave us peace of mind knowing our girl was in good hands. She even went as far as noticing that our girls first birthday was coming up and took pictures for us! We are so grateful for her help and couldn’t recommend her and her business more! Having two dogs with very different personalities has made finding the right dog walker and sitter a challenge, but Shannon has been a game-changer. One of my dogs is overly energetic, and Shannon knows exactly how to handle that while ensuring my other dog, who’s more laid-back, gets the calm attention he needs. She really takes the time to understand each dog’s personality and adjusts her care accordingly. Shannon is responsive, professional, and, most importantly, someone I can fully trust with both walking and sitting my pups.

As our dog Slate has gotten older, we’ve always struggled finding reliable and customized pet care. We cannot recommend Shannon at Wildwood enough!! She is a wealth of knowledge and gave us tips about his medication and walking him certain distances. She sent so many updates and pictures of Slate through the app while we were away, it was a relief to not stress about him while traveling.

I've been using Wildwood Petcare for over a year now, and I can't say enough good things about Shannon, and how she has been with my dog. She comes from a long background of taking care of animals, and it shows in everything she does. It's obvious how much she cares about the animals, and I trust her completely with both my dog and home. I can't imagine using anyone else.

With having two dogs, one with high anxiety, it has always been hard to find a reliable dog walker. Shannon is extremely understand of each and every dogs needs/personalities and adapts to their environment to make them feel most comfortable. Shiloh (French Bulldog) was scooting for a couple days and needed her anal glands expressed. Shannon took care of the issue so quickly and Shiloh wasn’t bothered at all. Very comforting experience from Bruce ! My pet frog passed away and I didn’t know of anywhere else that would cremate him, I found Bruce and he was here to help within 20 minutes of payment . He was very trusting and caring of everything, I didn’t have to worry about anything happening to my baby, and he brought him back to me decently fast! It was a frog so I wasn’t able to get the paw print but he even gave me a print of his full body instead without me even having to ask , I couldn’t have been more happy ! This whole experience was great and exactly what I needed to help the grieving process.

Bruce (S. D. Pet Driver), was a lateral answer to my payer, during a most heartbreaking situation! My sweet, sweet,Husky, Hana, became critically ill around midnight. I had taken my sleep aid at 11:00 pm, so I could not safely drive her to to the emergency hospital... After contacting Bruce, he arrived at my home within 35 mins & escorted myself & Hane to the Emergency Pet Hospital in Encinitas, (also a 5 star establishment). Bruce's empathetic & gentle nature served as a comforting presence throughout, what could have been, a frightening & lonely drive to our destination; where I knew I'd have to say goodbye to my constant companion. San Diego Pet Driver is amazing! My husband and I just moved from Hawaii to New Mexico. We have 2 large dogs that could not fly further than California due to heat embargoes, so we had to drive from CA to NM. Our car had already been shipped and was waiting at the dock pick up. We had nightmares of one of us waiting at the airport with dogs and luggage, while the other took a taxi to the dock 🙄 Here’s where San Diego Pet Driver came to rescue! Bruce picked all four of us up (including luggage and crates!!) from the airport and drove us to the shipper. He waited with the dogs while we got our car!! I cannot imagine trying to manage the trip without Bruce’s help. I wish there were more services like this.

Bruce was able to take on a last minute pet transport for 2 dogs from Las Vegas to Northern California. He sent photo and video updates throughout the day. He arrived earlier than his estimated time and kept the dogs until we were able to pickup. The dogs arrived happy and weren’t caged during the trip which was a huge plus!

A Lifesaver for Furry Friends! My dog needed to get to the emergency urgently. Luckily, I found Bruce through referral from our vet. Bruce was extremely helpful and wonderful to work with in a difficult situation. On short notice he was available to pick up our elderly 100lb dog who couldn’t walk and drive her to the animal hospital. He was kind and gentle with Dusty who gets super anxious but was extremely comfortable with him. Bruce coordinated with me and the vet and picked Dusty up for me and brought her home with her meds and medical instructions . Super nice guy, wonderful to work with and my dogs instantly took a liking to him. Today I’m back at the animal hospital with Charlie, my 12 year old lab, with Bruce’s help. Highly recommend Bruce. I’m glad to have found him.

My sweet puppy passed away in the evening. Bruce assisted with getting her to the animal hospital for cremation when no one else was open. He was kind and compassionate throughout the process.

My two year old Golden loves going to Posh Paws. She gets a lot of dog interaction and sleeps for two days when she gets home. Laura is excellent about sending photos during Nina's stays so that I know what a good time Nina is having.

The moment I talked to Laura on the phone I felt like she was a friend I was calling to watch my dog for the day. The next morning I was running late for work and was upset that I wouldn’t get to properly meet her to talk to her about my dog so that I could make sure this was going to be a safe and fun daycare for her. Well Calypso ran right up to Laura like she was her best friend, jumped up all excited to greet her!!! Laura was great in person and quickly made me feel confident in leaving Calypso in her care. She sent me pictures and updates of all the fun and playtime Calypso was having. Posh Paws is a doggy daycare that unlike the large commercial daycares, it always feels as though I am dropping Calypso off at a friends house to go play with her friends! All day she gets to play with her friends and lounge around sunbathing in the comfort of Laura’s place. I send Calypso weekly and sometimes for many days in a row. Posh Paws is hands down the best doggy daycare and Laura is an amazing person who will care for you dog as if they were her own. Laura is also awesome at getting the most adorable pictures of Calypso, i added a couple!!!

At home, I am an only dog so i love hanging out at PoshPaws when mom travels because I have friends there; the home is furnished for us dogs with pillows, couches, ottomans and couches galore, and the backyard is phenomenal: elevated cots, pillows, and shaded areas for hot summer days. I also love the humans there, they give each of us special attention. Mom feels good about boarding me at PoshPaws because she knows I am in good hands, I get my food, treats and medications just like at home. Poshpaws is definitely the place to be for all the cool dogs in the San Diego area

Finding Laura when we moved to the area was such a blessing! She cared for our senior dog like he was one of her own. And definitely helped to train our new (WILD) pup too. We traveled to the east coast, and knowing our pets were in her home put our mind at ease. Receiving pictures, updates, and funny stories made our family so happy/relieved. So much better than using a kennel & having to try and spot your pet on a puppy cam!

Beyond grateful for Murphy & Me. Our fur child, Luna, a bull terrier loves to play and be social but she has many food and environmental allergies so we just can’t take to any dog park or dog camp. Korye the owner of Murphy & Me gives Luna the attention she needs in an awesome grass free environment (there is turf) and beach outlines. I never worry when Luna with her because she is getting the best care in a safe and structured environment and I know I would be alerted ASAP if anything changes. Furthermore, all the dogs that are part of the pack are friendly and become family. Luna definitely has some great buddies.

I really can't say enough positive things about Korye and her services. There are dog sitters, then there is Murphy and Me...next level dog CARE. While our dogs were not a fit, I could not be more impressed with her level of service, compassion and attention to detail. Nikole is incredible and the only person I trust with my fur babies! She really goes above and beyond to make sure my pets are well cared for when I’m away. My dog is always very excited to see her, loves all the walks and adventures they go on, and she makes sure our cat feels special too with little treats, play time and cat YouTube. Knowing my pets are being watched after and or are with Nikole gives me such peace of mind when I’m on vacation.

Nikole has been pet sitting for us for over 4 years now. She is thorough, reliable, and trustworthy. She even took on learning how to check our diabetic cat's blood sugar and give him insulin. We have a bit of a "revolving door" of senior foster dogs, and she has always willingly cared for them and their special needs also! She has great communication skills and really puts you at ease. I recommend her to everyone!

Nikole takes excellent care of my 12 year old pup Leenie. Whether it’s walks or boarding, I always get lots of updates and pics/videos. I trust her with the key to my place all the time.

I used them a while back because they posted a flyer outside. Walker did not walk as specified. Door was left unlocked. My dog was ok but i was annoyed. A couple days I saw the flyering again and ripping off the flyers from another dog walking company. I went and grabbed one of the flyers and it turns out that this person had decades of experience specific to my dog’s needs. She’s also a small disabled business owner. Because of the poor and APPALLING actions of Finest City, I will never use them again. There are so many dogs in San Diego, and the fact that you felt the need to try to destroy a disabled woman’s business is horrible. Remember, neighbors see you acting poorly

Nikole has been walking my dog for over a year and I am so thankful we found her. She is always flexible with my changing schedule. Her post-walk messages (with photos/videos) are the highlight of my day. I can trust that my dog is being cared for by the best!

Roseanne looked in on my cat every day for over a week to ensure he was safe, had his meds, and was doing well after an operation. She sent updates each day whilst I was overseas so I could not only read about how he was, but also see a picture of him. I felt very safe in entrusting her with my pet and my house in my absence.

George was excellent with our dog Sebastian. We received videos and photos every day, and knew our dog was in good hands. While we were away, we would have normally been worried about our dog, as he is old and has a heart condition. However, we were confident with Waggy Tails Pet Care, and knew that our pet was receiving the best treatment while we were away.

Roxanne really cares about the dogs she watches. Our dog gets so excited as we approach Roxanne’s home, so we know she enjoys her visits. She is very accommodating with last minute requests, which we seem to have frequently. Our dog loves playing with her dog as well.

Binky loved her day at waggy Tails pet care. It is obvious that Roseanne loves dogs. She makes them comfortable and at ease and they seem very happy. She even got Binky trained in basic obedience training which was amazing. The best part is that she only takes a few dogs so they get individual care. I would have no hesitation in recommending her and using as my regular sitter!

Highly recommend Waggy Tails! I’ve been taking my pup to Roseanne for almost 3 years and never had a problem. Price is reasonable, and my dog is very fond of Roseanne. My dog is anxious and doesn’t warm up easily but Roseanne is really good at caring for pets so my dog warmed up quickly. She also sends pictures to keep me updated on how my pup is doing, without me asking. I will continue going to Roseanne for doggy day cares for years to come!

I recently had Roseanne watch my dog at her house for a couple days. She took great care of my dog. I appreciated the regular updates, which made me feel better about being away. Paradise Pet Care is amazing! My husband works from home and so our dog is rarely alone for long periods of time. However, he was going out of town for a week, so we hired Paradise Pet Care for daily walks. Mira, the owner, was so helpful and responsive; Christina, our walker, was beyond amazing. Our dog, Steve, and our family absolutely LOVE Justin and Marlie. We’ve known Marlie since our Lab was 6 months old as she used to work at the Vet we take him to. He is now 8, so most of his life, prior to them relocating north, he spent with them playing and having sleepovers :). There were times that we would just send him overnight because we knew he missed being there and they missed seeing him. They are both extremely professional and have a true passion for animals which can be seen in all areas of their business. We love you guys! And miss you down here in San Diego.

Marlie and Justin, who own Pet Adventures, are very caring and genuine people. My dog can be somewhat shy and they made her part of their sweet family...a home away from home. Marlie has a background as a vet tech and knows a lot about dogs. I trusted her insights. Justin is so heartfelt and allowed my dog to bond with him, which helped her to feel safe and secure. Many times they came to my rescue when unforeseen things would arise and I needed help with boarding. I was so grateful for all that they did for both myself and Kioni!! I miss them as they are now in Gold Beach, Oregon. The bar has been raised and it will be difficult to find another facility as comparable. Marlie and Justin are a kind and loving gift for those lucky to have found them! 🐾💕

We can’t begin to say how happy we are with the care Marlie and Justin give our dog Beau. They are so accommodating and knowledgeable and the best part is Beau loves them and loves going there. We have boarded with them too and the feeling of knowing your animal is safe and loved is the best part! We can’t thank them enough for working with Beau, he’s a strong willed large puppy and they have really helped us with him. He comes home tired and happy and calmer!
