My pup loves daycare! She has such a fun time playing with the other dogs. I get a sense from all the employees that they genuinely care about all the animals. Whenever I pick BB up they always tell me little things about her day- what she did and who she played with and it makes me happy. On Halloween Brittany even made personalized treat bags with homemade cookies for every dog that was there that day. They really go the extra mile.

I’m sorry I didn’t know I left this review. It looks like I just hit one and I never commented me doing the one star and posting that was an accident star and I never commented. I’m so sorry. I do not know my way around the on the phone to do very much on it except just make calls and texts and look up stuff. And here in this video one night when Lucky has been outside and he has stayed in the yard and he has listened and Marley’s really good about it too in Waze lucky is chewing on a bull stick right there around the corner where he lays does walk out of view of camera For a minute, but not out of the yard

I’ve been taking my dog to MickSparkins for day care for almost 2 years. They take great care of her, have a variety of activities and play groups, and give her downtime so she doesn’t get overly tired. She loves going and loves the staff!

My dog Scout has been enjoying MickSparkins daycare for almost a year now. We both have loved getting to know all of the staff and consider them all friends. MickSparkins is an absolutely great place for your four-legged fur baby. The staff is in love with all the dogs, and the care they give to them shows. My dog loves going there for daycare, and his boarding experience was outstanding. And don't forget the grooming! He is a sharp looking pup, thanks to the care taken by MickSparkin's resident groomer. Add in the training available, and the trips to the park, and it is doggie heaven. I had been looking for a reliable, knowledgeable and caring trainer for our family’s new Doxie. We were actually referred to MickSparkins by another trainer who highly recommended them. Our boy has been in group classes and boarding while we were on vacation, and there’s no where else we’d ever take our pets! I am so glad we followed the recommendation for MickSparkins Pet Care!

Ginny is the absolute best! We left our girl for the first time, and High Hope Farm would be our first & only choice if we have to leave her again.Anytime I wanted to check in she happily updated me. Our girl has separation anxiety and needed medication, and Ginny took care of everything perfectly. I would recommend her to anyone with fur babies!

I've left my Blossom with Ginny twice now. Once for a month due to a family emergency, and just picked her up yesterday from a week long vacation. Ginny sends me videos of Blossom interacting with her own dogs and regularly sends text updates! I feel safe leaving my old puppers at High Hope Farm. Will not leave her anywhere else.

We had a great experience at the Pooch Resort! Our dog was well taken care of while we were away and did not seem anxious at all when we came to pick her up. We would never use anyone else when we need someone to watch our 4 legged family members. Not only are they kept in wonderful shape and loved just like there own. There is pictures either daily or every other day where you can see them. Will continue to use them anytime we need a safe place for our fur baby.

Originally boarded our dog here during vacation & then it became our regular groomer as well. They do a great job with our lab mix & we always get compliments on his coat. During boarding they always post pictures daily & send pictures/updates whenever asked & never get annoyed. We do weekends sometimes & every time we need a week or longer for vacation. Our dog never is scared or anxious to go & has even made a best doggy friend he loves to play with when he’s there. Would definitely recommend! They’re wonderful & their communication is always great.

I have had my dogs here twice now, both times for long vacations we were gone on. At their second stay at check in, she remembered details about each of my boys without me even having to say any kind of reminder, if I called or emailed to check in, I was responded to immediately and both my boys were always happy and healthy when I came back for them. This is our third time visiting Poochs Resort. The first time I called them, they answered the phone!!! We used to go to Petco, but their pricing was inconsistent, and they hardly ever answered their phones. We tried another local place and they let the phone go to voice-mail. Poochs resort has gone above and beyond our expectations. The groomer does a fantastic job with our poodle, who can be a little difficult at times to groom. Our golden absolutely loves going there, too. They ran in today and acted like they owned the place. They always fought me when I took them to petco. Thank you so much for taking care of our big babies.

My Siberian Husky loves daycare, I feel peace of mind when we board him--knowing he is well cared for, and his grooming is always top notch. We have boarded our dog Thor many times in California. We moved here January of this year. We had the hardest time finding some where that would board him and Loki (our newest addition that had never been boarded) separate from other dogs. Then we found Pooch Resort. They assured us they were not free range at night. They were polite, understanding of our concerns about leaving our dogs at a new place and answered all questions promptly. They accepted calls while we were away as often as we wanted to call and posted pictures of our boys having a good time. They made us feel comfortable with their services and we felt our dogs were safe. We will definitely be using Pooch Resorts for our future boarding. Also the groomer was amazing. She was able to trim Loki's nails which is something our vet couldn't do easily. We will be back for grooming as well.

We have stayed here twice and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Mr. B is always excited to go and extremely happy when I pick him up. He is always on FB during his stay and ALWAYS seems very happy in all his pictures. They are also very accommodating to my phone call to check on him. I would definitely recommend this facility 🦮 …

We always board our pups at the Pet Plantation. They seem to love it. When they arrive, they rush for the door. Pet Plantation is clean and the staff is very helpful and kind. I enjoy reviewing photos at the end of the day showing our pups playing.

Winston had the BEST time at his first overnight visit at The Pet Plantation. 🐶 The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the grooming services are very reasonable pricing wise. Boarding is only $35 a night for Winston’s size, and even with additional grooming fees it came out to much cheaper than we anticipated. We had a little scare when Winston came back with potential limping, and the staff and owner contacted us immediately to see what was going on. ( It did turn out Winston was faking it to try and make his parents feel bad for leaving him! ) I was incredibly impressed with the staffs care and knowledge on what was going on with every dog under their care. Winston is still a pup, only six months old, and we can’t wait to bring him back for more daycare and overnight services to help him become a more social little guy! I highly recommend The Pet Plantation.

My pup loves going to Pet Plantation. He gets to play both inside and outside with other dogs. I am particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. My pup loves the staff. In addition to playgroup, he gets his nails trimmed while he is there. He also gets a bowl of ice cream! I'd give Pet Plantation 10 stars if I could.

We LOVE Pet Plantation! My Cavapoo, Tilly has been going to stay with Amanda and her staff for almost 3 years. We also use Chrissy for grooming. I can’t say enough about how professional but personable everyone there is. Tilly absolutely pulls on her leash to get inside and literally lays on the door for me to open it when we get there! She is always greeted warmly and when I pick her up from boarding she is always clean and relaxed! Chrissy does an amazing job and my sweet “doodle” always looks like a “doodle” after her groom. Best haircuts she’s ever had! I really can’t say enough positive things. Thank you Pet Planation for giving my best friend Tilly a safe, happy experience!

We love the Pet Plantation! We have brought our dogs multiple times and each time we are so pleased. We have also had one of our pups get groomed while there and he smelled so nice at pick up! Staff is always friendly and they are great with communication. Our pups love their time there. Recently, one of our dogs had a medical emergency while there due to his underlying health conditions and the staff were incredibly caring and went above and beyond to make sure our pup received the most care, love, and attention. We 100% recommend them and will always be using them anytime we need a boarder or groomer. Cannot say enough good things about the staff here!

These guys seem yo be pretty great! My dog has been here twice for daycare, and seems to have so much fun each time! The people are friendly, the prices are reasonable, the rules appear to be adhered to, from what I can tell the environment is clean, and it seems a safe space for my pup. They even did a great job with his nails! My only wish would be for the installation of cameras so I can have peace of mind proof that my fur baby is having the time of his life while there. I will continue to take my fur baby to the Pet Plantation for daycare/play/socialization. They are reliable, accepting of feedback, and loving!

I've taken my dog here for overnight boarding 3 times. 2/3 times, she did not receive all of her meals. The first time she missed a meal, I went off the schedule on their website and broke her food up into 3 meals a day. When they handed me one meal, I questioned whether or not I had given too many meals. The last time we took her, she was only there one night and I had only given them 2 meals (one for drop off day dinner and then breakfast next morning.) I wrote on each bag the date and which meal, very simplified. I picked her up at the exact time I had selected for pick up and the guy handed me her "dinner" saying that "since you're here early, here's her dinner." Confused, I asked why she wasn't fed cause it was ~3pm which means she had gone hours and hours playing hard with no food. The guy showed me the feeding calendar which did not show that she was offered any food. My poor dog was starving. I had to hand feed her 1.5 cups in the car immediately and she scarfed it down (very unlike her). I still give 2 stars because all the workers I've met are so nice and because they have (what looks like, you can't tour it to be sure) such a nice facility. If you're gonna pay the price they charge, the absolute LEAST they should do, is feed the dog. I am guessing they were understaffed, but still, there is no excuse for not feeding a dog and having no explanation other than "they must have missed her or forgot. " Sadly, I will not be returning.

Xena loves being boarded here. She has the best experience with the staff and other dogs she plays with. They offer a safe and convenient facility when I need to leave her for daycare or a weekend stay.

We felt at ease leaving our doggo with Eric at Howliday Inn. He loves animals and the facility has a large yard for the dogs to play in (supervised by Eric). Our dog doesn’t play well with other dogs so Eric took her out to play by herself. The dogs have individual rooms to stay in instead of crates which we liked. We will definitely use Howliday Inn in the future!

Oliver loves going there & has fun! They all play together in the large back yard, & I know how much fun he’s having b/c when I’m missing him & reach out to check on him, Eric sends me pictures of my baby boy in action! I will always take Ollie Bear there when I need to travel w/o him!

We have always have great service and both of boys really love going to camp when we go on much needed vacations. A couple of years ago my youngest son had to have emergency surgery and Eric made room for the boys to stay while we had to go Columbus,Ohio for my son’s surgery.

They love animals and it shows. We felt like we were leaving our beloved pet in good hands. We love the camera in each room so we could check in on our pet. We shared our traumatic experiences of our previous boarding experiences an how our pet had escaped from that boarding kennel. They made us feel at ease and we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing he was in good hands. Thank you so much for helping us to have a wonderful vacation. We will be back now that we can feel comfortable leaving him.

We bring our girl here every week. She gets so excited to leave to go see her buddies. She gets play time outside and comes home so tired. We love bringing her to Howliday Inn and know she’s in good hands while we are working.

My go to kennel for my two dogs. The owner is great, he knows our dogs by name. My dogs have always been happy and perky when I pick them up, compared to experiences at other kennels that leave them stressed/frazzled. I love that they have their own room and get play time outside. I can leave them toys/bones and feed with instructions without any issues. They are always more than willing to accommodate. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a dog free, stress free vacation!

I boarded my Weimaraner at Howliday Inn and Suites for almost two weeks. I dreaded leaving her for so long, but the owner put me at ease; he loves animals and it shows. I felt entirely comfortable after I met with him and toured the facility before making my final decision to board my baby at Howliday. Every dog has his or her own room and window with natural light. The rooms have split doors so the dogs can look out and don't feel locked up - no cages! There is a good sized fenced-in play area outside (playtime is supervised). My vet, Dr. Sette (Hurricane Animal Hospital) recommended Howliday Inn to me and I would recommend it to anyone who needs to board their animal.

My dog appeared to have been taken care of, but I probably won't return. The runs are all equipped with cameras so I could view her. Her run was clean, but I never saw that she was taken outside. The lobby area was filthy and smelled terrible, like dirty litter boxes. Cats were running free in the lobby, and there was dog/cat hair everywhere.

Hate to give 5 stars because it will make it even harder to get my Thalia a room here. Howliday Inn is the perfect place to board or use for doggy day care. Highly recommended! Cameras in every room so you check on your baby with your cell phone.

I cannot say enough good things about Connie and Almost Home. Our dog gets to socialize with other dogs, and we know he is getting plenty of playtime. He has freedom to roam in the house similar to when he is home, and a large yard to run in. Jango loves to stay there, and he comes home exhausted from all the play. He is completely comfortable there as you can tell from his napping position! Definitely recommend.

The BEST in the Valley, without question. Would recommend to everyone. Connie goes the extra mile to give pet parents peace of mind. I love that she does a temperament assessment and takes the time to get to know the dogs before boarding. She kept me updated on my dog's wellbeing throughout his stay and even sent me pictures! We will definitely use Almost Home for all of our doggie daycare needs.

My puppy attends daycare here and loves it! The staff cuddle him, and feed him by hand when needed to make sure he eats (picky eater). They treat him as they would their own family, and it’s the only place I leave him where he doesn’t cry when I leave. He makes friends and comes home wiped out! This place really cares about their clients. I never worry when my pup is there.

Almost home is a great place to take your pups. I take my 2 huskies there and they love going there. When i tell them they are going to doggy daycare, they get so excited. I’ve taken them to daycare and also boarded them. They are so tired once they get home from playing all day. I highly recommend this doggy daycare/boarding. Connie is great with our pups. It’s definitely their favorite place to go. It’s their almost home.

My dog Boomer was boarded at Almost Home for the first time and for 10 days! Connie and her staff provided excellent care for him and helped manage his anxiety about being with other dogs. She sent pictures and texts to let me know how he was doing. Since he was timid around other dogs, she even provided space for him to sleep alone at night. I strongly recommend Almost Home and will definitely use them again for boarding or day care.

We have dropped our 2 dogs off here multiple times. Our dogs are always wagging their tales to return. If you are the type of person that would appreciate a quick text of what your dog is in to when you are gone they would be happy to oblige. You know your pups are getting lots of love and kindness when you leave them here because they typically want to give a little more attention to folks around the place before they leave. Rest assured your dogs are in good hands at Almost Heaven Doggie Daycare!

We left out our 2 dogs for the weekend. They came home happy and exhausted. We were kept up to date and any questions we had were quickly answered. We will definitely be using them again.

They took such good care of Marilyn, I received many pictures updating me on her stay, she truly loved Marilyn like her own. My pup had so much fun I could tell she played so much! I knew from the first visit that my girl would be safe and happy there. I will definitely be taking her back.

We brought our dog here while we went on vacation in July and he had an absolute blast! I got several updates throughout the week and we arranged for him to get groomed as well while we were gone. It was wonderful not having to worry about our pup!

Wonderful caring staff. Colt used to not like getting in the expedition. Since he's returned from 2 stays at Club Pet he keeps trying to get in the expedition thinking he's going back. I'm not kidding about that. Big area for the dogs to run. It's on the expensive side for us but we'll worth it for the time we went!! I can't say enough about how the staff is, the boarding and grooming!!

Left my cats there for boarding. It was their 1st time being boarded and the staff was very helpful and nice. My boyfriend was able to pick them up for me as I was still out of town. Price was reasonable. Only thing I would change is there is no cameras in cat room for owner to view.

We’ve taken our doodle puppy there twice and both times our pup has come out looking so handsome! The groomers are absolutely wonderful and SO nice! I can’t stress that enough. My only reason not giving 5 stars is the fact that some reason it took them 3 hours extra for them to call us today & we went in to pick up our dog and the receptionist lady said he wasn’t on the schedule at all when he clearly was because we made the appointment AND he had already been cut so there must have been miscommunication somewhere, the receptionist has a bit of an attitude which I don’t enjoy BUT apart from that, the important part (the groomers and grooming) is absolutely wonderful.

Always have a great experience when boarding here. Prices are reasonable. My doggos always seem to have e a good time. I personally haven't used grooming services in years, so I can't speak to that.

After using the same boarding facility for my dogs for 14 years, I was forced to find a new place to kennel my pets due to the business closing. I searched the web for places near me, and read lots of reviews on lots of places. I had decided to give Club Pet a try, and I am glad I did. All of the staff I had come into contact with was very friendly. I had talked to Bri several times before drop off day, and she took very good care of me in reassuring me my fur babies would be taken very good care of. The day we arrived she greeted my 2 six month old Great Dane puppies with open arms and a smile on her face. She made me feel very comfortable and confident in leaving them for a few days. The facility is reasonably priced, very neat, clean, and well maintained with a nice layout. I was so pleased with the outcome of my dogs stay at Club Pet, I have already booked several more future weekend stays with them.

This place is one of the best places to board your pet in our area of Barboursville. We have had our dog Wesson there and they did great with him. We will be returning with him this month and hope for the same experience as last time. Great staff and clean facility.

Amazing staff, so caring, huge yard to run around in! They even went as far as to stay on 4th of july and blast classical music to calm the animals during fireworks! How thoughtful is that!!!!!!

I take my Shepherd/Pyrenees mix for grooming and Katelyn is the absolute best! She does such a great job with Dolly. I recently took my other dog, a boxer mix, and his coat is so shiny! He looks like a pup again! Dexter and Dolly highly recommend Club K9, especially Katelyn!

I liked this place for a long time but the last time I took my senior dog here they scraped his back so bad with clippers that's he came home covered in bloody scabs. I will NEVER go back.

I have been taking my Adult Dog (Fish) for the last 2 years and my new puppy (Chips) for about 1 month now. Awesome staff. Kind and caring for dogs that are super shy (like fish) or dogs that don't know manners yet (like chip) lol. Recommend their boarding and day care services to anyone.

Club K9 is great! They are very attentive to the dogs and always greet you with a smile. When we brought our large dog to the club they made sure he was properly and slowly introduced to the staff, buildings, and other dogs. He has had a blast so far! We would recommend this doggy haven to anyone!

So I’ve been taking my 2 Bichpoo dogs to a groomer for over a year & they canceled last minute. I called Pet Oasis & she was able to get both my babies in right away. What normally took 3.5 hrs for 2 dogs was shorter & it didn’t come at a cost of shabby service at all. The groomer did awesome & listen to my needs. I’m already booked for their next appointment in 6 weeks. Don’t hesitate! By the way for being a place with borders there too, it smelled amazing & clean still.

Pet Oasis is wonderful! Very affordable and worked with us when we had to adjust the duration of our dog’s stay because we were stuck out of state due to hurricane Helene. With how crazy everything was, not having to worry about our Hannah relieved a lot of stress. We knew she was in great hands. Lucky Dog K9 was professional, clean and thorough in their intake process. They made my first experience getting a dog groomed one to remember! My golden doodle has never felt so soft, her cut was perfect and her nails felt like they weren’t even there. They put bows in her hair at no extra charge and she looked awesome and slept so good that night. lol thank you all again, we will be back 🩷🐾

Highly recommend for boarding and grooming. Have a nervous dog that no other local companies would work with, but they’ve done great with him. He’s bonded with the owner Shannon and I’ve been able to drop him off for boarding and grooming. Thankful that they gave our boy a chance and I don’t have to worry about him when we go out of town. Give Lucky Dog a chance, you won’t be disappointed!

I brought my 8 month old Golden here and she did so well with him! He looks so good and the quality of care this facility provides is unbeatable. ❤️ It doesn’t get better than a content pup!

My girl, Abby, is 16 years old. We have taken her to Tails R Us for grooming for several years. In the last year, grooming wears her out but the staff take such great care of my girl. They are patient and allow her to take breaks. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my girl’s care.

Our dog is very very anxious. Hates car rides, hard floors, new places, etc. It took her a couple days to warm up to being there but we loved watching her on video the whole time we were on vacation! They were so sweet with her and she didn't want to leave when it was time to come home.

I've had my Bella there 3 times, two for grooming and once for a nail trim. I live this place. They are so kind to the animals. In Aug we will be taking Bella there for doggie day care and I trust them completely to take great care of her. Thank you all for what you do!

Super cute environment with amazingly helpful staff. Gave my 2 cats a place to stay in a pinch before the holidays. They do have cameras with an app you can log into and look at your babies ANYTIME, which is super nice considering I am a super hands on cat mom. My cats stayed here half day and they abided by all special instructions because one of these guys is special needs. The reason for 4/5 stars is because for the half day, I never once saw my cats on the cameras unfortunately. I will definitely give it another try though and possibly change my rating, just because these guys know what they're doing. Thanks Tails R Us.

Took my poodle there and because they could not finish her ears I was not charged. That kind of honesty and professionalism is refreshing. My dog loved the staff. I will never take my dog anywhere else but here. 10/10.

Tails R Us is an outstanding dog daycare, grooming, and boarding facility, owned by two of the most caring and loving friends and pet owners I know - Maricris and Scott Miller. Their genuine love for animals is evident in every aspect of their business, from the warm and welcoming staff to the comfortable and clean accommodations. The spacious daycare area has separate dog playgrounds for small and large dogs to keep them entertained, while the grooming services left them looking and smelling fabulous. As for boarding, I had complete peace of mind knowing my dog was treated like family and in the best hands. My dog Cosmo loves this place, and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for exceptional care for their beloved pets. I can't thank the owners and staff enough for their dedication and commitment to providing top-notch service.

Was a little leery taking our dogs for grooming since they had never been before. They did great with our girls! Am so excited to have a nice clean place close to home to take them. Many thanks for all the TLC you gave♥️

Just got my Oliver groomed today for the first time, they did a lovely job. Staff was amazingly nice. He can be a difficult pup but they did well with him. Well worth the $90.

We just went in for a nail trim this visit, but we were very impressed. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We had a lot of questions about daycare and boarding, and they were very easy to talk to and professional. I will definitely be back.

Zeppelin LOVES going to Tin Woof Inn! He gets so excited when we make the turn off of 60, that once we finally pull into the parking lot he is ready to drag me inside. I’m so glad to have somewhere that takes such good care of my big boy when I’m not able to. My husband and I are very thankful for everyone there treating our zeppy like their own.

Wish I could give zero stars. My dogs came home covered in urine and feces after a week stay while I was on vacation. I was given excuse after excuse with the only offer of $25 off a $100 groom. While the staff was kind, that does not excuse the condition my animals were in. My dog has horrible chemical burn on her butt from having urine and poop literally caked on her for, god only knows, how long. I’ve seen how snarky and passive aggressive the owner has been on these reviews, so I’m aware they’ll be some excuse since I’m unable to reply back. Just know, if you bring your animal here, they’ll likely be in a kennel the entire time covered in poop and pee. I also see that several comments from the owner states the clients can’t be located in the system. So, I’m sure that’s a possible reply as well.

Hands down, Uhtred loved them, and they were great with him! Other groomers were a little testy because he's so hyper, but not here. He let them do whatever needed to be done. I will definitely be back!

Our mini bernedoodle (Molly Rose) loves this place! We were going on vacation and had to board her so I took her to Tin Woof Inn for a few days of doggie daycare to meet the people and see how she would do. She did fine so the following week we boarded her while going on vacation. The staff always make her so welcome and she loves them and playing with all the other dogs! Now, when we take her she gets so excited to be there!! This will definitely be her home away from home from now on. They also have a great line of premium pet foods, snacks, toys, etc.. at reasonable prices. It’s a little far to go but worth the drive. Give them a try. They will take great care of your dog(s) and/or cat(s)❤️

My dogs absolutely love it here! The staff is friendly and are efficient with handling all types of animals and if I ever go out of town I know my dogs are taken care of by some of the best people here. Thanks for letting me count on y'all.

This was the first time we needed any boarding services for our pets and this place was Amazing! They took such great care of Gigi and she was so happy to see us when we picked her up. But she was very happy to see all the workers as well. Being so excited to see them showed me that they were extremely good to her. Would definitely recommend. Will most likely be returning for future services. Thank you Tin Woof!

This review is for the Dock Dogs class that the Tin Woof Inn facilitates. The introduction night was truly a disgrace. Highly disappointing. There was no actual education or wisdom. The trainers showed an embarrassing lack of knowledge about dog body language and behavior. Almost every dog was nervous or fearful and yet they were still pulled toward the pool on leash, even while clawing to get away or frozen with fear. Acclimation to the pool could have been done in a huge variety of humane and skillful ways. Instead, dogs were pressured and forced. It was painful to watch. Do better.

I have used them three times. Two of them times no complaints. This time both my dogs came home with kennel cough and so sick. I took them to the vet and was told by people in the waiting room that their dogs came home sick from there as well. Don’t know if they are not cleaning good there or what, it cost to much to have them stay there then come home sick and have to pay a high vet bill cause they can’t stop coughing and are so sick.

I love bringing Sadie Mae out here when my husband and I go on trips. I highly recommend boarding your pets here. The staff is super nice!!!😊 …

Tin Woof Inn is the only place we will leave Katie. The girls working there need a raise in pay because they are loving and caring people.
