We LOVE Dog Republic! Both of our golden retrievers love playing with all of their furry friends. The pack walks are fantastic! It’s an excellent way to socialize your dog. Their dog trainers are the BEST! Hunter’s very knowledgeable and was extremely helpful with our 2 year old named Blaze. Brandon is our favorite staff member! Such great energy! He’s always smiling and so happy to see our dogs. Kelly is the manager. She’s well organized and always does her best to take care of our baby boys. She’s very responsive when you have questions or concerns. Kevin, the owner, we really like that guy! We’re very thankful for everything he does for our family. Highly recommend! 5 stars!
I have an extremely reactive Malinois! I was referred to Dog republic from a neighbor and oh boy did I find exactly what we needed. Kevin was the first expert to make my boy calm down and act like he has manners. I take both my Shepard's in for boarding when I need to and we also use the grooming services. We are so thankful we found these guys!
Kevin and the Dog Republic team have been life savers for us when it comes to our dog Torrey. They trained her when she was a puppy and she loves going for walks with the pack to get out some energy and play with her friends. There is no one else we would trust to take care of our dog! Can’t recommend this team enough.
We used Dog Republic while in town for the holidays visiting family and would highly recommend it to anyone. Our cavapoo couldn't wait to go every time and loved getting photos of their adventures. They had excellent communication and were flexible with time and schedule adjustments. Thank you Dog Republic!
My Golden Retriever went for the board and train program and the improvements are just amazing! He will be going to board there going forward and get training sessions in every now and then as well to keep up with his progress. Can’t speak highly enough of Kelly, Hunter and the team!
I was very excited to get my 2 pups enrolled with Dog Republic as I would see their vans driving around and they had great reviews. The “temperament test” went great with Kevin; he was personable, friendly, and great with my pups. I started to have my pups go to daycare for a few hours each week to get them acclimated. I am very sad to say I was quite disappointed the few times I had my pups go to daycare at Dog Republic and honestly hated leaving them there. Every staff member besides Kevin and Dani (they both were awesome and very caring, personable people!), couldn’t care less about their job. They acted like opening up the door to let my pups in for daycare was the biggest hassle and would literally drag them inside with the leash. The house was a dirty mess. They specifically promised me photos every daycare session and were the ones to always bring up that the photos would be sent, however I not once got photos and had to ask for photos every single time, or sometimes they would even reply to me stating “they’re playing with their friends.” I’m sorry, but that is a horrible response, I’d hope they’re “playing with their friends.” I’m someone who definitely takes reviews into consideration and wanted to give my honest feedback. I’m sadly VERY disappointed in this place. If the staff can’t even fake a professional front for me at the door, I can’t imagine how they treat the pups back there.
Dog Republic is so great! We use them regularly for pack walks and my dog just loves them. All of the employees are friendly, great with dogs and professional. Since my dog is a puppy, I love that she is getting a good walk, getting a little extra training by being with someone else and other dogs and that it’s fun for her. Dog Republic is a one-stop shop. I have used their day care, overnight boarding and grooming. All are fantastic and they take such great care of your pup. I highly recommend them!
We take our German Sheppard Axel there for pack walking and day camp. They do an excellent job with him and send us an email letting us know how he did for the day. The staff is great with him and are really nice. They have a cage-free environment that is great for the dogs. We have also boarded him there for a week and he loved it. Great place to take your dog!
Dog Republic is amazing! Everyone there has the best energy and you can sense it when you see how excited your dog is to go back the next day! Whether it be a pack walk or boarding your dog will be jumping up and down when they are on their way!! All the pack walkers really care and truly give your dog the best workout! While engaging with other pups and learning how to walk with the pack!
We visited their facility and it reminded us of jail with over 50 dogs in a small yard. No toys or anything else. We then tried them for their famous walks. The pick up was great and we were promised their will walk my dog for at least an hour. My dog has a GPS so I was able to teach her activity fir the afternoon. Basically, she was gone for 2.5 hours and was walked for 35 minutes. That is, for almost 2 hours she was driven in a can while they picked up and dropped many other dogs. I think they can get away with it since no one can actually know what they are doing (unless your dog has a GPS device). Stay away from them! I saw the response of the company and want to clarify. I have a GPS device on my puppy and I have a map with time stamps. The puppy was walked for a total of 21 minutes total. I am happy to give the data to the owners.
We loved being able to leave our dog here during our vacation! They took good care of Winston and would send us photos of him throughout our trip. We were able to check up on him through the cameras as well. We definitely will bring him back again! We are very happy with our experience here!
I am incredibly happy to have found HomeAway From Home! Due to work, we had to leave the country for 19 days, which ended up being extended to 24 days midway through the trip. I was very anxious about leaving our two Belgian Malinois for such a long time, but the staff here made the experience so much easier. The drop off was incredibly easy and resassuring - we were even given an opportunity to view the facility (with my dogs) and ask any questions. They kept me updated regularly with texts and videos, and the live streaming option allowed me to check in on my dogs whenever I missed them, which was a huge comfort. Sometimes when I checked the app I would catch a glimpse of them running after balls staff would throw for them or just sunbathing in the yard :) It's clear that the entire team truly cares for each dog in their care, and they have a real passion for what they do. Hearing stories about other pets boarding there, you can tell they all genuinely love their job. Our two dogs are quite a handful—one likes to challenge other dogs, while the other is usually very timid—yet they made sure both of them were comfortable and well cared for, taking each dog's personality into account. The runs were spacious enough to accommodate our two full-grown Malinois in one kennel without any issues. We also added a bath at the end of their stay, which was the best decision! When I picked them up, they were happy, playful, and smelled amazing after their grooming. I will definitely continue to bring my dogs here for boarding and day trips. HomeAway From Home has truly earned my trust, and I couldn’t be more grateful!
Leo had a great time boarding at Home Away From Home! The facility is clean and well maintained, the manager on site was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was able to view videos of Leo enjoying himself on their live feed. I would highly recommend Home Away From Home the next time you can't bring your dog with you on vacation with you
Excellent service and everyone was easy to work with. Will highly recommend.
Home Away from Home is THE best!!!
They are friendly but not professional here. The last time I dropped of my dog for the weekend I returned to find that he had a ton of dog food left which is fairly uncommon even when staying at a boarding location. The owner informed me that his family went on a camping trip that same weekend so I can only assume that my dog was just not fed.. The first time I brought my dog here was great (professionalism aside) but this last visit makes me wary.
Bob and his family do a great job! My 5-month-old puppy was a very nervous pup after a bad experience at another facility. Bob took his time with her and slowly exposed her to more and more dogs. Bob also gave some great advice for training as well.
Came in from Colorado with our two Siberian Huskies. They enjoyed their day hanging around the dog park inn. This is the spot Fido wants to be!
I have worked in the pet industry myself for close to 10 years and this has been one of my favorite places. Owners have been very accommodating and flexible with my needs. My dog comes home tired and happy from daycare. They have been helping with my dog’s jumping too, which I have found many daycares allow and make the problem worse but she’s been getting better since coming here. They really do go above and beyond here. They are some of the nicest people, too. Great communication. Would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for dog care in this area. Would give them more than 5 stars if I could
This is a wonderful place our Hank, He loves playing with all the other dogs I highly recommend & trust Hank will be well taken care of.
Bob is very knowledgeable and friendly. He was great with my 2 rescue dogs.
I like how easy they are to work with. Easy drop off, easy pick up.
Wonderful people who love and take care of your dog while you are away.
Wonderful place to leave our precious pup either for the day or for 10 days. They take great care and are a wonderful family owned and operated business
We have been taking our dogs here for over 11 years. Both we and our dogs appreciate the loving care and supervision that the team at the Dog Park Inn provide. They will treat your dog as if it were theirs! The Kelleher Family
Our dog was treated with kindness and care. She's shy, but was fine here. Will have her visit again.
My friend wanted to purchase puppies from Gary, he stalled them for one day, then the next day said he was at the hospital after breaking his brother s arm, when he was inside all the while not answering the door. Then greeted the and said I am not selling my dogs to people like you and slammed the door, beware of this gent.....
Kennels are clean. Gary is nice. Prices are reasonable. Easy check-in/check-out. I'm glad I can go out of town now without worry of how my dogs will be cared for.
They always take suck great care of Snowflake ❄️
4 Paws Inn was just ok. Our dog was there from Tuesday 6pm until Sunday 3pm, but we were charged for 6 days. Try getting away with that in the hotel business. By that logic, an overnight stay is 2 days. You walk in through the office which was very messy and smelly and looked nothing like the online photos (unless the pics show a rusty wave runner parked in front). When our dog was brought into the front office at pickup, she looked pretty dejected... No wagging tail, head down until she saw us and proceeded to go nuts. As is pretty common, she had some minor diarrhea for a few days after. I think most of the places on the doggie col-de-sac are similar, but I don't think any could be worse.
They have been very diligent and caring for my dogs, the owner has been truly wonderful. My dog arrive clean, happy and well cared for, wish I could say that about other places!!!
Available last minute, good price, super nice owner, and my dog seemed really happy after staying there!
Excellent service! Gary is top notch with our dogs. They are always happy and excited to be there.
We have used Four Paws several times and each time the facility is clean, the service kind and accommodating and the price fair. I highly recommended this facility.
they took very good care of my pet, excellent service and price
I adopted my pug from Tina's Pugs & Pals 7 yrs ago. She had her rescue housed at her SunRun Kennels. I bring him back to Sunrun whenever we need to board him or for doggy daycare. He loves Tina and her staff. He always comes home a happy camper! Tina treats all the dogs as if they were her own! Wouldn't go anywhere else!
Wonderful! We were fortunate to discover this kennel only a week after we moved to California. Tina took our two dogs in on short notice while the moving truck was coming. The dogs were so happy the second day!
SunRun and Tina have been a godsend to my dogs and me. I have a very reactive, nervous pit mix that would be so anxious whenever we traveled that he would poop blood regardless of the boarder we tried. Tina took him in, gave him confidence, and my dog ended up loving SunRun, thanks Tina!
We have been using Sun Run for over 20 years with 3 different dogs. My dog is a very excited the minute we turn down the street. The owner is super friendly and caring. We feel very comfortable leaving our family member pet in their care. They take safety, health, and comfort of your pet serious.
I have been a customer for years. My pugs are seniors and they love it there! It's like their second home and we can trust the owner with all medications. Pinky is disabled and needs a special care as well. I wouldn't take them anywhere else.....
We have been going to Sunrun for 7 years. There is no one I trust more with my dogs than Tina.
We've taken our dog here for almost 2 years and we love it. The staff is professional and kind. They grow to know your dog and what is best for her while under their care. We trust them with our dog completely.
Neighbor here, are these dogs left outside in the cold?? I feel bad because i hear them, cry, bark, and howl. Then i always hear a man yelling at the dogs "BE QUIET" and im like dang, their dogs. And are the other 2 places part of this place??
My boy Bert LOVES Sunrun Kennels. It is his home away from home!
Also a neighbor... as the other reviewer mentioned, these dogs are left out with no attention all day. i can hear them bark, cry, and howl non-stop for hours on end. seems like no one is paying attention to them if they are just being ignored like that all day every day!!!
My fur baby loves coming here. Nancy and the staff are absolutely amazing. You can tell they genuinely love my dog, which makes me feel comfortable when dropping off. He gets plenty of exercise and really enjoys his swimming time. The pictures they send when time permits are an added plus. Sometimes he doesn't want to leave when I pick him up. IMO, that is a good sign.
My experience with this pet boarding facility was disappointing. Despite scheduling a Friday pickup, they were closed, forcing me to wait until Monday. I was charged for the closed days and, upon picking up my dogs early Monday, faced an additional full-day charge. To make matters worse, they suggested a cash payment for a discount, which felt unprofessional. Transparency in closure dates and fair billing practices were sorely lacking. I would not recommend this establishment for pet boarding due to these issues.
We've been taking our dogs here for 4 years and they love it! Nancy and everyone who works here have always taken great care of our babies. I can hardly contain the dogs when I pull into the driveway because they are so excited to spend the day at the Country Club and swim! They've always been accommodating with our pups and any medication or special food we've had to bring for them. When you see how happy your pups are to leave you and spend time with their doggie family at CCCC, it makes you feel a lot better knowing they are in good hands.
Glenn has been so helpful throughout my experience with Coast Canine! I am so happy to have met these people. They have been the best!
I would give them 10 out of 5 stars if I could. I used to work at a pet resort and have boarded dogs at many different places but none compare to the quality of service CCCC provides. Jesse is the definition of animal lover and more specifically dog lover. The only thing I worry about when dropping off my dog is that she'll enjoy her stay too much and not want to go home with me when I pick her up. Thank you Nancy and Jesse for always going above and beyond to care for all of our dogs!!!
Many years ago, we had to take our two labs here for 9 weeks while our house was being repaired after a fire. It ended up that it was more like three months before they could come home. Stevie and her staff were so amazing with our dogs and so loving that when we went to visit and take them for a ride and to a dog park they almost didn't want to leave. When we approached CCCC to take them back they got so excited to be back there that we almost felt a little hurt. Then we used them every time we had to go out of town and they were always excited to be back there. When our oldest dog at almost 15 was no longer able to move around much and couldn't handle being outdoors, we were moving out of state and couldn't take her with us. We were devastated, but Stevie took her in and gave her a home for several months, mostly at their expense, until the time came for her to go peacefully. We were unable to go back to California to be with her, but the entire staff, save one, went to the Vet's to be with our Tasha and love her thru to her last breath. I know that my husband and I will be forever grateful and in their debt for the wonderful, reasonably priced, over the top loving care they gave our dogs each and every day they were in their care. You can't find that just anywhere! I would say you should give this place a chance because people don't change that much and stay in business this long. If you do, look for a picture of Tasha somewhere on their mantle!
I have taken my dog here since she was 5 months old weekly and when we leave for family vacations. I know she is loved and taken great care of because she is always very excited to go back. I completely trust Jesse and his love for dogs!!
Upfront it seems like they take well care of the dogs here but behind the scenes is totally different. Nancy is very unprofessional and overall not a good person. She has her meth and steroid addicted son Jesse working there and I have witnessed him pulling the dogs by the leash choking them. They constantly have new people working there so seeing their turnover rate should say something either they hire unqualified people or treat their employees wrong. There was one girl working there before i believe her name was amanda she was great very nice and seemed to love her job and the dogs if it wasn't for her I wouldn't give this place even one star. STAY AWAY!!!! there's other places In the area that are WAAAYYY better
Love this place. Nancy, Glen, and Kim make our dog feel like family. He gets SO excited whenever we pull in their driveway… there is no better endorsement than that.
My wife and I have been taking our good girl Sophie here for years. Absolutely wonderful staff who really care about the dogs and great pricing... highly recommend CCCC!
