I am struggling with naming our top adjective to describe Michael and Jeanne. "Conscientious" will likely be it but then again, "personable," "reliable," "organised," and "animal-loving" are top contenders. If you are reading this review and contemplating inviting this couple to watch your pets, then look no further. We have had a number of excellent house sitters but this pair was next level in terms of the love they showed our cats, Maxx and Nala. When we came back, we could our animals already missed them. These cats, who have never slept with anyone other than us, were getting in bed with them each night -- and that meant climbing stairs! The day before our trip, Nala got an ear infection and had to be put on steroids for asthma. Michael and Jeanne did not sign up for that when the sit was booked but they took it in stride. In the last-minute rush, I relayed that Nala needed her oral steroids morning and night. Michael read the RX label, indicating one dose a day, and contacted the vet to clarify. So you can see why "conscientious" is right up there. They saved Nala from an overdose! We were gone three weeks and they sent us just the right amount of pictures and videos. They bought cat toys (I forgot to put ours out!) and actively engaged with them, including 20-minute massages for Maxx. I truly believed them when they said they fell in love with our fur babies. The house was spotless (which was not important to me but truly appreciated) but I smiled when all six water stations in our yard were filled. They took seriously my love for and the needs of the wildlife in our yard. Our plants were all in good condition as well. Sensing they were "next level" when I met them, I predicted they would want to leave a meal for us upon our return. I asked them not to but they found another way to bow out with class. They made a donation to a nonprofit I work with instead. This I learned from the lovely thank you note they left. I hope they will consider Charles and I friends because we certainly feel that way about them now. What special people. If you book them, treat them well because they are going to do that for you for sure.

Anna was an excellent sitter - she took great care to understand all of the intricacies of taking care of the house and cats, asked lots of questions, and arrived on time and ready for the sit. During the trip, she checked in with updates, and upon returning home, left the space tidy and clean. The cats were happy and healthy, and seemed to have had a great time during the sit. Thanks Anna!

Our review is written by Steven (house owner, host + my father) + also by Kim (the daughter). Written by Kim: This was our first house sit since the passing of my mother in late Dec 2023. I was helping my father Steven (whose profile it is) manage all the emails + try + find a great house sitter + came along Gretchen’s profile! Not only is she a cool cat + someone you might want to get to know, I found myself quickly talking to her. I shortly found out her profile is just a glimpse of how interesting she is but talking to her was so much better! She is a world traveler with many experiences + stories to share. We quickly became conversationalists who could talk forever + probably will continue to do so! Thank you TH! She is easy to communicate with + continued the consistent communication all along our journey of having her as our *first* guest after my mom’s passing. It was clearly a time filled with anxiety + sensitivity so there were some sensitive topics to go over + Gretchen got it right away. A few of our rooms in the house were off-limits (as they housed my mom’s things) but we reassured her the house has ample space for her to enjoy + there are many lovely outdoor spaces to boot! When she arrived she felt she was in paradise + really relished in the outdoor beauty + the indoor coziness. We were happy to share it with someone who appreciated it so much! She also was very understanding with the fact that both my dad + I would both be involved as we both handled different parts of the stay. Me, writing + setting up the Welcome Guide + would go over the situation but then upon her arrival my dad would take over + answer any questions mostly during her sit. The good part of having 2 people is she had accessibility to us both, in the case she needed it + sometimes it came up! She juggled all the communication oh so well. My mom usually handled most of the logistics so this being our first time we were nervous something would come up we might not know but it didn’t! It was new territory for us + we wanted to make sure she had everything. Gretchen handled it all with such ease, seamlessly, really respecting our wishes/desires + taking all the information into her hands + making it seem easy on her end to do so. She was easy to coordinate schedules with! There was a gap in her 1st + 2nd sit but everything went seamlessly even when my flight had a day long delay. She was able to coordinate schedules with me arriving in between, then leaving, my dad arriving different days + us extending the trip too. It all worked out! We were all a good team! She absolutely loved our older cat, Benny + he fast + furiously fell in love with her oh so easily. When I saw him, he looked oh so loved + after saying hi to me went over to ‘her’ bed + slept there waiting for her to come back. She sent many pictures, videos + even cute creations + toys she made for our Benny + it was obvious the house + our Benny were her first priority. She even asked us if she could help prune our flowers/shrubs, something my mom used to do + honestly it was an honor to hear her ask that. She was welcome to set up her art studio + play away. She was very communicative when our house cleaner, landscape gardener + house manager showered up for different reasons. When I arrived back for a short stint before she came back the 2nd time our mail was so well organized it was an assembly line! She also offered to take down our xmas tree (as we were a bit behind in taking down our xmas decorations) + she was sensitive to the fact that we were adjusting to a new normal. Thank you so much Gretchen! You made our first sit in a long time so seamless + such a relief that we are ready now to host again. We only wish we could have more Gretchen’s! (She’s also a super talented artist!) Written by Steven: Overall, Gretchen has been an absolute treasure. She has fulfilled our goals for a house sitter perfectly - she took good care of the house, great care of our treasured pet, Mr. Benny + took care of the grounds such as watering a few plants + trees. She excelled in all the above + is welcome back anytime I will be out of town in the future.

Chris and Julia were our very first sitters and are the most perfect house/pet sitters anyone would ever want!!! Julia sent video/pictures of our fur babies everyday and we noticed early on that our animals were very relaxed and happy!! This made our trip so enjoyable and stress free knowing that our animals were safe and being spoiled and loved the whole time. They even trained our dog to sit while her leash was being attached and was able to pet and hold our cat that is somewhat nervous around strange people he doesn't know. When I got back from the trip, the house was very clean along with Julia/Chris had washed the bed sheets, bath towels, vacuumed, dusted etc., and even washed the pet bedding. They also left some SE Asia treats for us to try which so sweet of them. Definitely the perfect house sitters!!!

Becca was fantastic - we cannot say enough about how great she is as a pet and house sitter and as a human being! Becca committed to the sit 8 months in advance and was great with her responsiveness in communication during the long lead up to the sit. She arrived early and got the low downs on the animals and house stuff prior to us leaving. She woke up crazy early to help us get to the airport and picked us up when we returned, which made the traveling so much easier on our end. She left the house spot-less (and this is no exaggeration), with the linens cleaned, and a wonderful meal waiting for us upon our return. She is an absolute gem of a person with a great sense of humor and a kind and compassionate nature, and she really enjoys the animals in her care. Our dog and cat were very well cared for and totally at ease upon our return. If you are lucky enough to have Becca sit for you, you will be very pleased at how well she does the job!

Daniel and Vasylyna were incredible house sitters and we would welcome them back to sit for us again any time they are available! They were fantastic communicators, making sure to work out details far in advance and they sent frequent picture updates of our animals which made us so happy while we were away. When the power went out in the neighborhood while they were here leading to a technology issue with our alarm system, they handled everything well. Upon our return, the house was clean, the garden was thriving and well cared for, and our dog and cat were clearly very loved while we were away - in fact our dog was sooooo sad to see them leave! I had the pleasure of getting to know them a bit before I left, and they are such a kind, adventurous, and great couple. I would highly recommend having Daniel and Vasylyna take care of your house, plants, and animals!

Ruoyi was the perfect sitter for our cat Toni! We would highly recommend her to any pet owner, and hope she can sit for us again in the future. Ruoyi was very thorough - she made sure there was full alignment on all the specifics of her pet duties, and she asked thoughtful questions regarding details we forgot to include in our guide. She always provided us timely updates at the agreed cadence, and gave us a ton of photos. From the photos, it's clear she got in a lot of play time with Toni, which we really appreciated! :) We were able to enjoy our entire vacation stress-free knowing Toni was in such good hands. Ruoyi left our apartment completely clean and offered to wash linens.

Ann Marie was an excellent house sitter who went above and beyond. She flew in a day early and stayed at a local hotel so we she could meet my cat and get the keys before my early flight the next morning. When I returned, she and Tryke were best friends and the house was immaculate. She even washed the sheets and towels, and remade the bed. I strongly recommend Ann Marie for any future sits!

Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. She gave thoughtful updates on my cat and I could tell she really enjoyed her, so that means the world to me! She left the place immaculate and we will certainly have Tonya back!

We've had many pet/house sitters over the last few years and Cat and Eugene will reside at the top of the list of favorites! From my first email with Cat I knew I liked her. She has all of the qualities of a good house and pet sitter: Reliable, a good listener, organized, flexible, caring, and honest. She and Eugene arrived exactly on time for our pre-sit visit, where they got to meet Maya and become familiarized with the house. It was a delight to visit with them and become comfortable knowing Maya would be in good hands. Our scheduled dates changed somewhat and they were extremely flexible and easy going about the changes. Upon our return home, we found the house pretty much in the exact condition we left it in. I can tell that great care was taken for Maya and for the house. Maya seemed to still be looking for them the next day, wandering around the house wondering where the other people who loved her went. I would recommend Cat and Eugene for anyone looking for reliable, kind, respectful, caring, tidy, and honest sitters. If I am lucky, I will get to have them back to sit for me again.

We were very satisfied with the service our sitter Jennifer provided on November 25th and 26th for our little girl cat. She promptly responded via text and phone during initial setup of the service and sent us daily updates with photos via text while we were away. Jennifer is kind courteous and professional and we would most certainly use her again. In fact the entire dogsgowalking operation is terrific we were under the gun with only a couple of days to find a sitter over the Thanksgiving holiday and they gladly accommodated us and told us exactly what we needed to do. It was easy and they enabled us to have a good time while we were away knowing that our beloved kitty cat was being well taken care of.
Great service, we use them regularly for pet visits while we are out of the house for extended periods. They do a great job of keeping me informed when they get there and how our dogs are doing. Would definitely recommend them.
Grace is fantastic. She went out of her way to help me. She showed up on time and provided text updates with photos. I was also given a detailed report when I came home. She is extremely professional and very patient with the animals. I would highly recommend her.

Bridget has been watching my dogs since 2003. She takes them to the beach they have a lot of fun together. She sends me pictures and videos. I know my dog is well cared for and loved. When one of my dogs got old are a very long detailed list of medications, and directions. She did a great job, and I think my old lady perked up being around a bunch of other dogs having fun. You can also tell Bridget loves what she does!
Bridget treats my dogs like I do! Spoiled and cared for, like they deserve. The best part of being on vacation is knowing I don't have to worry about my boys. For 13 years since 2009, to the present time, Bridget has gone above and beyond taking care of our daughter's elderly lab, Layla, followed by our new pup Timber in 2012, now an elder pup. I have one dog who is blind and needs medication and another who is a handful, not only do I trust Friends of Fur Pet Care with both of them, its like they're at home. My guy who is a handful is very anxious and has separation anxiety to say the least and FOFPC was able to keep him at bay and provide me amazing feedback to ease my anxiety as well! Naomi is AMAZING! She took the best care of our fur babies. My husband has always been skeptical about leaving our dogs with anyone but Naomi was highly recommended by a friend and we decided to call her. When we met Naomi we knew that our dogs were going to be in good hands and boy were they! She kept us up to date on everything and sent us daily pics of the dogs which was pretty neat. The best part of this experience with Naomi was when she had gone back home on last day and my husbands flight was cancelled and he could not make it home that night. I panicked because the dogs were alone but I was able to text Naomi and without hesitation she immediately went back to the house to stay with them another day! She calmed me down and assured me she would stay as long as we needed. Naomi is trustworthy, caring and just awesome! This was a great experience. We can't thank you enough. Naomi is AMAZING!!!! I was desperate as my usual cat sitter had booked too many clients the week I would be away and my best friend wasn't following through. My older kitty is diabetic and asthmatic. She requires 2 injections of insulin a day and without it she won't survive. I had only 2 options at the last minute and one was boarding my baby on the medical side of her vet with the possibility they would be giving her anesthesia each time she needed her insulin! The cost was $200+/day! I would have still needed to care for my other kitty! I just couldn't do it! I called Naomi and she jumped right in and was more than willing to care for my girls at home! Naomi sent pictures twice a day with notes on my babies. My home was in order when I came home and the mail was neatly stacked where I could see it along with my garbage cans and recycling at the curb. I highly recommend Naomi to anyone looking for a sitter (I would know as I am a cat sitter myself so I definitely look for specific qualifications in a sitter and Naomi has them!) My entire trip would have been canceled had it not been for Naomi!

Where do I begin!?! We absolutely love Robin! Having moved from NY to FL we needed someone who could help us care for our fur baby when we were away or very busy with work. Our Bruno is very used to coming with us every where, after the arrival of his little sibling it became difficult to fly with him since our hands were now very full. It was very very hard for us to leave our Bruno behind on trips, and all of that changed when we met Robin. This year was full of big changes and Robin feels like family now. When Bruno met Robin we knew right away she was the one. He had an immediate connection to her. Robin has a true love of animals and they legitimately love her right back. Sometimes we now think Bruns secretly gets excited when he sees our suitcases because he knows that means time with Auntie Robin! Robin has also pulled through for us a few times with last minute travel and made sure Bruno was well cared for. You will not find a better pet sitter anywhere in our area. 10/10 recommend!!!!
If you want to lessen your anxiety when leaving your “fur baby” for an extended period of time, we HIGHLY recommend Good Dog! Dog Walking. Robin is extremely responsive with regular updates on how your pet is doing and genuinely loves taking care of them. She has been our Cocoa’s caregiver for the past five years and quite frankly I don’t know what we would do without her. She’s the best!
We called and searched several places and decided to go with Robin, she is simply the best. After meeting with her we were at ease, she was so kind and attentive to our cats while we were away. She made sure they were well taken care of, clean, groomed and even played with them. She even sent us updates and pics which was huge. We didn't have to worry while we were away and that's priceless. We fully trust her and her kind professionalism and won't use anyone else.
Robin is the best caregiver you will ever find for your furry family member. She is prompt with drop off or pick up, provides long walks, offers the walk map with details on bodily functions, sends pictures of your baby while with her, and is all around a very sweet and kind professional. We have used Robin for two years and we highly recommend her.
My experience with Good Dog was wonderful! Robin is such an animal lover and it really shows with this business, I highly recommend her! My dog, Max looks forward to taking his weekly walks with her, he has grown a bond with a new best friend. She will not disappoint, trust me!

First time I had my pups with Salty Dog Hotel for 10 days and the experience was absolutely amazing. Rosario is the best, she kept me posted daily with pictures and videos, they had a lot of fun, lots of activities, walks everyday, they went to the park, swimming pool, she really took care of them like they were her dogs. That is definitely the type of service we look for to be in peace when travelling. Lucca and Loli didn't want to come home when I picked them up. LOL and they were super tired for days, they had a blast. Thank you Salty Dog and Rosario, they are coming back for sure. :)

The team today helped me become comfortable with leaving my new young puppy for temperament test. They made all the difference with welcoming her into the group today and starting outside was perfect! My pup did really well and this is my second dog coming here over several years time. I value the input by the manager today and following up on my pups behavior during the event. Great team in place and very courteous staff.
From the moment we walked in to take a tour of the wonderful space… We knew we found a new home for Bella And Bear.. We dropped Bella and Bear off and when we did, it was love at first sight. The team greeted our pups with lots of kisses and lots of affection. The pups went right to the staff. The staff asked questions like, can the dogs be fed together or do they need to eat separately? How well do the dogs socialize with other dogs? And it really showed the great attention to detail. We then received an email sharing with us how our dogs did on their temperament test. We really appreciated the update, it was very comforting to know how well our dogs were being looked after and taken care of. The staff does a wonderful job of posting daily on social media. They are very open with their clientele and very proud of the customer service and business that they run. This was top-notch service, our dogs were very well taken care of. They received lots of love, They were bathed before we picked them up and of course they were exhausted after four days of staying over. We cannot thank the staff enough for taking such good care of our pups. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend this place.

Thank god for this place! My dogs life is so full and fun which makes me so happy. The staff is loving, caring, and responsible. I have gone out of the country several times and left my dog there for boarding. Never worried for a minute. She loves it there and has a smile on her face everytime we pull up! The dental cleaning service offered was an overall excellent experience all around. My little guy’s smile was like brand new and he was exercised while my daughter made her way back to collect him. He didn’t look stressed at all. Will definitely recommend and will book again.
We love INN the doghouse, their staff is amazing and they know every pup by name as you walk in. We mostly use them for daycare with occasional boarding. Our Blue Heeler (Ted) loves going so much that he will try to open the door when we get to it. They make it very easy to add shot records to your pups profile. You can also schedule boarding, grooming etc right online in your profile. Very convenient! If you are nervous about taking your dog there, don’t be. They have a great process to get your dog acclimated to being with a large group. Schedule your temperament test now, don’t wait! Love Ted and Jovi❤️🐾
My dog got a haircut today. I am so glad that my baby has fallen into professional hands! My gratitude to the groomer is boundless!
Excellent! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiling faces, clean facility and happy puppies abound! Ruth took care of my two babies and they came out amazing! The ears were cleaned, the nails grounded smooth and they smelled so nice! I would definitely recommend and I’ll be back for sure!!
We moved here from AZ and our boys loved their “Doggy Camp” there. When I picked them up today, they were all smiles and looked fantastic, thanks to the groomers. The boys were happily exhausted! We’re so pleased!!! Thank you Inn the Dog House!
We brought our dog here for a temperament test to see how we would do. Everything was five stars from the front desk, to the grooming facility, to the playrooms. Our dog had a blast and we are so lucky to have found this place!

Francesca was right on time for pickup and return, and everything went great. My dog had a good time playing with hers, and he was returned happy and looking good. Would recommend!
Francine is wonderful! Before the first time we used her, she came by ahead of time to meet our pup and learn the routine. We now use her on a regular basis. She is completely reliable, takes pictures, and even spends time playing with our cat! Our cat can be standoffish, so a testament to Francine that they bonded. Now both pets rush to greet her whenever she comes over!
Franny is reliable, professional, and caring. Considering how important my dog is to me, feeling comfortable about who takes care of him means a lot. So I am grateful for Franny and I highly recommend her. Francy Paws is the best!

Aunt Jen's Pet Sitting was truly fabulous! Another pet sitter recommended Jen to us, and we're so happy we used her services. Our dog, Marley, was so happy with Jen, and she was very well taken care of. We never used a pet sitter before but we went away with the people who always watch our dog. We honestly weren't worried about Marley at all while we were away because we knew she was in excellent care. Jen kept in contact with us and sent plenty of pictures. I can't recommend Jen enough. She is very caring and loving and having your dogs be able to be in her home and be able to go outside in her yard, is definitely a wonderful plus. When we go away again, I'm definitely calling Jen and am recommending her to all our friends. She's the best!
We hired Jen to care for our 2 dogs and cat while we were out of the country. One of our dogs has a little anxiety with new people and has never been cared for by anyone she didn’t know. So we were nervous, but Jen was accommodating to do a meet and greet, and on the first day we were gone she sent pics and gave us the best update we could have asked for. Her daily updates and pictures were so appreciated and our fur babies were so well cared for, they didn’t even notice our absence. We will definitely be hiring Jen again and again!
We have used Jen for petsitting in our home and my dog has also stayed at her house multiple times. We highly recommend her! My dog loves staying over and they treat her like part of the family. LOVEEEE this place! We adopted our very anxious rescue about a year ago and we were looking for boarding for the weekend while we went out of town. The staff was phenomenal and was very accommodating and helpful with the whole process! Everyone is so nice and they treated our boy so well! Our pup requires some extra TLC because he has severe anxiety and the staff were so great with him. The pricing is great and it’s a very nice facility with people who genuinely care for your pets. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

The white lady at this place is a complete racist. My husband and I came here got here early and she came to our car with an aggressive behavior. We thought she was a drug addict or had some type of mental health issues until she threatened to call the police on my husband for parking and waiting while black. I let her know to stop with her aggressive behavior. My husband and I were planning on taking a vacation and we wanted to get information and got here early . Her behavior because we were Black people waiting for them to open up was hostile and aggressive. don’t come into a black neighborhood if you do not want to serve all people. People are not the same anymore they’re unfriendly and cruel and I met One today
The place where I was bringing my Chocolate Lab, had shut down. When I Spoke to Ohana they were so Friendly and are so Accommodating. They answered all my questions and came out to help me with getting him in (as he is a bit strong and anxious.) But they made everything comfortable for me to leave him, and I could go to work knowing he was in good hands. They texted pictures during the day, and he received a report card...very nice! And they have Grooming services and training. It is definitely wort it. I would definitely recommend Ohana Pet Resort.
We boarded our cat, Teddy, here while we were out of town for almost 2 weeks. We were concerned about leaving him because he wants all the attention, and he has a heart condition that requires him to get medication twice a day. They are amazing! I loved receiving the daily report cards letting me know how Teddy was doing. I can tell that he received lots of attention and was well taken care of while we were gone. We plan to use Ohana for all of our boarding needs in the future!
I will never bring my dog here again. She had been in daycare and stayed at the old Ohana twice before, each time for over a week. This last time - August to September of 2024 she stayed for 16 days. She was in the old Ohana. When I picked her up - she was filthy. When I called to ask why she wasn't given a bath they said she had one the night before but there was a lot of rain and she got dirty during the evening play time. Humm. Once I got her home, I gave her a good bath and not only was she filthy, but she had A LOT of scratches and teeth marks. On top of that, my once confident baby was suddenly spooked by loud noises, the toaster popping up toast, the clatter of food bowls - all sorts of strange and weird stuff. I called to complain. What the heck had happened? Were they so busy with opening the new place that they forgot about the old and the pets that were there? I was told that Grace played rough and that's how she got all her scratches and bite marks. What? Who allows that? She never plays rough like that. I was told that they talked to the staff and no one did anything to harm her or cause distress. She was super wary of everyone again. I had adopted her when she was 3. She is starting to get over her fears, but it's been two months now. I didn't appreciate that the fact that I was made to feel like I was totally overreacting. I will NEVER send Grace to that place again.
We’ve been taking our Great Dane here for 4 months. Excellent dog day care, they take great care of the dogs. Staff is great. Price reasonable. Send us pictures every day of the dog. Drop off and pick up when ever we want. We really like Ohana Pet Resort.
Beautiful new place. Very clean. My fur baby was happy and well taken care of. The staff seemed to really love their jobs. I only wish they had cameras to view our pets from the website. Will be a frequent visitor.
