Percy had his 1st appointment with Gemini Dogs today for grooming. We had been taking Percy to a different groomer for sometime but kept noticing he would come home very nervous/uneasy. We decided maybe it was just time for a change and after lots of searching we decided to take Percy to Gemini Dogs! We spoke with Briana before the appointment and I really appreciated that and what to expect the day of his appointment. I also like how professional the staff were at both check-in and when I picked Percy up. Briana spoke with us at drop off and asked us how we liked his coat cut and off Percy went. When we picked Percy up today he was his very happy self, he was happy to see us and when we got in the car he was just relaxed and happy, no shakes, no whimpering and he looks so handsome! We will be back for his next grooming appointment and I cannot thank the staff enough for keeping him calm and happy today.
Had an amazing experience at this dog grooming place! The staff was super friendly and my pup looks adorable. Highly recommend to schedule with Gabriel, he’s great!!
This is the only place I've taken my pooch where she is actually excited to be dropped for the day (or for longer). The people working at Gemini are caring and attentive, and I don't worry about my dog because I know she is in good hands. The prices are reasonable, and the opening hours, from 0600-2200 make drop off and pick up easy. The teeth cleaning service was also reasonably priced. Our pooch loves it at Gemini.
This is dog Central! Knowledgeable trainers, excellent daycare, grooming and boarding, with a terrific staff. We've brought all our pups here over the years.
We were coming in from out of state and started working on the plans 3-4 months in advance. We had all the paperwork complete and a scheduled evaluation/tour for our first day in town, but when we arrived in town, they did not have our appt in their schedule. But after several phone calls and reviewing emails, they fit us in the next morning, and our dog was abe to attend daycare for the next 4 days. She loved it and was bathed and groomed during our stay. The hours are great, and they make sure the dogs all get plenty of exercise and play time.
We were camping nearby, I needed to find a boarding that would take two dogs. Gemini pet boarding was very responsive to my call. I talked to the owner directly and she accepted our dogs. My youngest dog was frightened when she went in and so they took her out front and let her hang out with them in the office to get her to calm down. The next day when we took them in they were very excited to see them and went right away in without hesitation. They sent me a couple of pictures throughout the day to show me that she was doing OK and sitting in peoples laps. They were spoiled at Gemini boarding.
I am a severely disabled Vietnam combat veteran, and was recently discharged from the rehabilitation unit of the Veterans Medical Center in Bedford, MA. Since I live alone, the director of the rehab unit contacted 22 Mowhawks about service dog program for disabled veterans. One week after my hospital discharge, they delivered Willow into my arms, and I immediately fell in love with her. The facility and staff of Gemini Dogs is outstanding and I am thrilled to be able to work with them going forward. The facility and staff are amazing. Michelle, one of the trainers came to my home yesterday to help me with the development of my 6 month old Lab, she is to become my partner in life, and was donated by 22 Mowhawks. Although I have been training Willow since she was 6 weeks old; and she is smart and hard working, she has at least 6 months of additional training before she becomes a fully certified service dog.
We were looking for some place to board our dog for the day while we went into Boston. Gemini has great hours, currently 6A-10P so we didn’t have to worry about being rushed. We have a little dog who is used to having her big brother around (we left him home with the house sitter), so she had some company for the day. I highly recommend you contact them a day or two before you want to board.
We've been using Gemini since about March for both daycare and boarding. Easy reservation process and great care from the staff. They handle special needs dogs wonderfully; my guy has food allergies and some anxiety issues and they handle it with ease. I swear my dog is more excited to go than he is to leave most days. Very grateful we found this place.
We are from Pennsylvania, came up to Ayer for my niece's wedding. I wanted to find a place where our new puppy could spend the day while we enjoyed the wedding, and not have to worry about the pup. This IS the place! So glad I found Gemini Dogs. Great place and people. Our pup had fun. Very pleased.
They were fantastic in accommodating us on short notice, and our dog had a wonderful time. Every staff member I met was super friendly and I could tell had such a passion for dogs. My dog had a wonderful time and was excited to spend his time there. I loved the photo updates each day which certainly showed my dog's enthusiasm!
Recently left my elderly dog and my 5 year old doodle. The doodle is highly allergic and takes daily meds to keep him from breaking out in hives. He’d also recently had a mystery injury on his foot that he was taking medication for. I was quite nervous dropping them off without ever having used PinkDog before. I had no need to be. When I picked them up after 5 days they were happy and healthy. The employee immediately knew my dogs and informed me that the foot was healing nicely. It was obvious they had handled the medication well and taken wonderful care of my boys. I really appreciate them! Will definitely use them again with confidence.
I picked up our pups after their grooming appointments and they were the cleanest, softest, fluffiest, and best smelling they have ever been! We’ve found our new groomer!!
Very warm and friendly environment and our dog Bones had a very happy stay his 2nd time around, they did a great job integrating him with dogs of his liking and energy level. Very clean too! Nice spot, see y'all over the summer!
Last week I left my 2 dog there for 5 days , while I went on a trip to Florida. When I went to pick my dogs up 5 days later they were so happy there and they told us they had a lot fun there and ate while we were gone which is good because my dogs get stressed easily . We got to bring their bed ,dry food, cans ,and treats and they write down everything you tell them to note down which is great. My dog really enjoyed it there and had an excellent experience. That is why I think this an excellent place and is a great place they also got to take a bath on the last day that they were there and they smelled amazing!
Great place to board your dog! We've always had good experiences with Pink Dog Grooming since the staff is so great. So, we decided to give their new boarding a try. While she doesn't love being left behind, our dog did very well and we know the staff is attentive and caring.
The staff is friendly but unorganized and they barely speak English. They have very little knowledge about dog breeds and temperaments beyond being small dog owners themselves. The dogs also only go out for 20 minutes a day maximum unless you pay $20 extra each day for daycare! Very inexperienced and unorganized, unlike the previous owner of the kennel.
We left our dogs for 2 weeks here, and they sent us pictures and took good care of them
Excellent experience! Easy to schedule, friendly staff and my pup looks fabulous!
We bring our Pug here and they take great care of him. He likes it there.
After adopting my rescue in October, I immediately got him into training classes here and we haven’t stopped since! We’ve done positive training level 1 and 2, dog sport, and multiple levels of nose work. Each class has been amazing and I’ve gained so much knowledge from the trainers as a first time dog owner. I have boarded my dog here both for the day and over night and I love seeing how excited he gets when we pull into the parking lot. Every staff member knows him by name and genuinely cares about him and get excited to see him come in. There prices are extremely reasonable for the level of care and love that is shown to your pet during their stay! I can not say enough positive things about Champion Kennels!
My boys love Sherry , best place for a grooming session. Also, I have done training here in the past. Great instructors, well ran kennel facility.
We recently boarded our dog and cat overnight at Champion for several days, and we couldn’t be happier with their kindness, care, and professionalism! Both pets had little to no experience with boarding, and so we were a bit apprehensive about leaving them in an unfamiliar place. Everyone at Champion was so kind and patient with us, answering all of our questions and reassuring us that our pets were in good hands! Plus, we were really pleased at how clean and spacious their facilities were. While we were away, Champion staff were extremely responsive when we asked for updates/photos, and at pickup, we were thrilled to see how happy our pets were. It was clear that they were very well cared for! They also came home with little report cards about their stay, which was a great personal touch. We’ll certainly be using Champion’s services again, if need be. Thanks to everyone there who made this such a positive experience for us!
The only place I trust with my dog. They also offer some fantastic classes
After a horrible experience with a boarder in Sudbury Mass my Vet recommended that I try Champion Kennels in Sterling. My babies have had 2 day visits and one overnight. They have been loved and welcomed by the staff and I could not be more pleased. I can now leave Howie and Charlotte knowing they are not only well cared for they are happy. Cannot say enough good things about Champion Kennels!
They are a complete Kennel. They offer many different type of classes. My best behaved dogs have been trained at Champion Kennels. I currently attend a class with Kris. She has been wonderful with my dogs. She understand dog behavior and explains why the dogs do things so you can understand how to train them. Within 6 months I was able to get an obedience title on my dog. They have top quality dog food and toys for sale. They have great kennels and grooming for your dogs. Everything you need for your dog is here.
Recommended. Will be back for cat boarding! Allowed me to use my cats dry brand of food to avoid stomach upset. My cat gets car sick and they cleaned him up on my arrival. Friendly staff and hours are more convenient for picking up and dropping off compared to some other boarding facilities. Definitely worth visiting Champion kennels if you need pet boarding. Edit: Unfortunately they have become more popular for cat boarding and they went up their rate to the same rate as many other boarding facilities. Also, they started booking up so I couldn't board my cat at all. I had to go elsewhere, closer to me, for the same rate.
Champion Kennels is a great training facility. Our instructor Kris listened to what we needed from our dog, got to know the dog, and then as easy as pie she got him to do just what she asked. Amazing gentle techniques, all very painless and pleasant for each one of us. Perfection!
We took our dog for a private lesson with Kris. The dog was aggressive toward young girls and I have a number of nieces and small children in the house. I brought the dog and one of the little girls and Kris taught us exactly what to do to modify the dogs behavior and help the young girls get comfortable with the dog. They are now best friends thanks to the suggestions and exercises that Kris gave us.
one trainer here kicked puppies and recommend we yank a nipping puppy's leash to correct it. the trainer who came after her whipped a dog with separation anxiety and told us to be the alpha over our dogs. I left classes extremely confused at times.
