We were at a dog training evening with Sandra brown ( dog interpreter ) it was absolutely superb went away feeling very confident. Sandra is running a 6 week course where we will be going through different lessons which involve 5 more dogs all with different issues that need addressing. I was very apprehensive before hand but I can say with I think it’s going to be great, looking forward to the next lesson.

Enquired with Yappy Days about helping out with walks for my puppy, who unfortunately couldn’t meet my requirements which is understandable and completely fine, but I have to comment on the cold and blunt customer service I received. Even when I expressed interest in their services when my dog is older, there was no offer from Yappy Days to touch base again or help out in the future. Having reached out to three dog walking businesses locally, the other two have been really helpful with advice and recommendations - and most importantly they have been friendly, which is what you want when looking for care for your fur baby! Down to customer service alone, when looking for group dog walks in the future I will take my business elsewhere I’m afraid

Amazing daycare, Stacey and her team put 100% into the dogs. Only daycare around that puts the dogs health first and doesn't insist on males being neutered and unnecessary yearly vaccines. My entire male has been attending for 3 years now and loves it, always comes home happy and I know he is in safe hands.

Our Finley has been going there since he was 12 weeks old and he loves it. Literally chokes himself pulling to get in. The staff are all lovely as well would recommend to anyone.

Great place for doggy day care and the grooming is an added extra. Managed to fit me in at short notice so thanks to them and a great place for your dog do have an energetic charge around with other dogs.

Gerry Is a wonderful dog sitter/ walker. I couldn’t of asked for more reassurance to know our dog was so looked after. Gerry only met him a handful of times before she had him stay over and he adores her. What a wonderful animal lover she is! We even got treats brought home with him after his stay! I would highly recommend her!

Gerri is great with my black Labrador. He is a rescue so has had some issues but he is very happy and loves his visits with her as she takes time to understand his needs. We are hoping to try some overnight boarding soon. Highly recommend.

On the 06/06/2022 Mike the owner of the home dog boarding has kicked my dog for pulling him , while walking with other 5 dogs , i have video proof when he kicks my dog , the dog is a Belgium Shepherd that can get excited for walks , she is not aggressive as he is walking her with other 5 dogs , his explanation was that he had to kick her to stop bitting one o the dogs , that is not true and not what the video proof is showing , long story shot I am posting this comment here to make other people aware of what can happen at this doggy day care , i was lucky enough for someone’s dash camera to be on while he was kicking my dog and this is how i found out .

This was the first time that I used a pet sitter when I went on holiday. I haven't left my pets for so long in over 2 years and since losing one of my cats. Chris was extremely understanding to my anxiety and worries about having to leave them for 8 days. He was brilliant, he spent time with my cats and even tried to get them to get used to him on daily basis. I got pictures and regular messages too. I was and still am very happy with his service and have already recommended him to my friends. I will definitely be booking him again in the future.

Chris is a brilliant dog minder.I have no qualms to leave my two little pooches again. You can tell when someone genuinely loves animals and Chris does.We are so pleased that we know our two will be well looked after and cared for so we booked them in again for next year.Its a weight off our mind that we found someone like Chris to look after them.He keeps intouch to let u know how they are too which is very reassuring by texts and pics.Brilliant!

We recently moved to the area from Sweden and one of the first things we knew we needed was to find someone to watch our two cats if we were away. After looking into a few different services where you bring your pet to a location, my husband stumbled on Petpals Darlington & Yarm. We were happy to find a service where people would come to our house rather than us having to take the cats somewhere as travelling can be very stressful for animals. From the beginning, our interactions with the staff at Petpals D&Y was really wonderful - everyone we spoke to was lovely and helpful, and setting up an initial meeting with Jill was quick, easy, and hassle-free. We went on holiday to visit my in-laws over the Christmas period and despite the awkward time of year to work, it was clear from the daily updates that everyone who came to look in on them didn't shirk out on giving our cats time and attention. They seemed knowledgeable about cats - with Jill pegging their breed within a few minutes of meeting them, even, despite it not being a common breed in the UK - and we were assured that if the cats were to become ill that they work directly with a specific cat veterinarian in the area that they would bring them to if necessary. Overall we felt very safe and confident leaving our animals (and access to our home) in their care. We loved the daily updates in particular, with pictures, and when we returned it was to two super happy cats who seemed more calm than anxious. Staff from Petpals D&Y even left them a little Christmas gift that they went crazy for 😂😍. Best petsitting service I've ever used. The price is very reasonable - cheaper than services where you bring your animals somewhere where they'll probably mostly be in cages all day - and setting up dates for them to watch the cats is incredibly easy. Will absolutely be using them again for future trips, short and long, and would 100% recommend for people who are a bit anxious about leaving their furry family members behind on holiday, work trips, etc.

I can't speak highly enough of the service provided by Petpals. While we are away we know our 2 cats are in great hands. They get a visit every day. Litter cleaned and water refreshed. Then they will get a little play time and some one on one attention. Shortly after we receive an email detailing all the exciting events that have happened and a lovely collage of our little kitties. It's something we genuinely look forward to each day we are away. Thank you so much.

This is the second time I've used Petpals and once more I cannot recommend them highly enough. I came back from a long holiday to a content, settled and well looked after cat!! Rachel has been great with him, following his routines, playing with him and making sure he had his cuddles. I loved seeing the photos and reading her daily reports that were making me feel like I was there for a moment. I could tell he has in good hands!!

I did not expect the level of care, attention and obvious affection shown to my pretty independant cat whilst I was away on holiday; Rachel sent me daily reports along with lovely photos, not only did she feed him but she spent time playing with him, grooming him and cleaning him up too when needed as he is long haired. Rachel took the time to tell me how he was on interaction too, playful, mischievous . And on top of that she cleaned his bowls and took all the pouches away for recycling. A really fantastic service all round and I wholeheartedly recommend Petpals to everyone who owns a pet.

My little nervous dog has totally come out of her shell since starting group walks with the dogs, she is picked up and dropped off and absolutely loves all the dog walkers! I cannot recommend Petpals Darlington enough for the care and attention they gave our two cats during our recent family holiday. I was extremely panicked when we first went away as I've never had our cats looked after by anyone other than family and friends but Jill calmed my nerves and even checked the GPS tracking to ensure our cats were being attended to as planned. Our two were attended to by Rachel and then Patricia during our week away and both ladies were fabulous with them. We have a sickly youngster but both ladies cleaned up after her with no bother! Our cats were fed, litter scooped, clean water and most importantly played with and given valuable outdoor time in their catios. The daily service reports with photos were excellent and wherever we were adventuring on the island, we all stopped to hear the daily updates! We arrived home tonight to happy, content cats, clean litter, filled bellies and a lovely card. Thank you to Jill, Rachel and Patricia for treating my two cats so well and with so much care. Thoroughly Recommend 😊

A very professional service from the beginning. Good assessments done with my fog prior to at services being agreed. I've used their walking service regularly and they have a portal that's easy to update if anything changes with your dog. I've also recently used their dog sitting service. We were paired with a lovely man who I think spoiled my girl more than I do. He was a superstar!! I love that they give you a short report after every walk & lovely photos. It is so reassuring to see that your dog is well looked after. The same with the dog boarding - daily photos & updates. I would highly recommend their services.

I can’t speak highly enough about Petpals, their service and their team. As a business owner and a single man I can’t always be home as regularly or consistently as I ought to be for Edwin, but Petpals are always there and look after him as though he were one of their own. I recently used Petpals dog walking service for my two dogs, Eli and Ada, while I was away on holiday. I could not recommend Petpals high enough, they took brilliant care of both my dogs, they sent regular updates and photographs and I had total piece of mind that my dogs were having as much fun as I was.
