The people here were generous enough to allow me to use their port o potty in a moment of need. I was there out of town for work in the middle of nothing but farmland. No public restrooms for miles. They didnt hesitate when i asked to use their mobile bathroom. Thank you!

We've boarded our dog here several times over the past 7 years. He always has a great time and they take such good care of him. A Local Gem! Sunset Kennels has taken loving care of our dogs, from puppies to seniors, for several years. We’re delighted to be able to go on vacation knowing that our dog is having a great time too at his “second home”. We’re pleased with their prices and like that playtime is included in the cost because it is a must for our active dog. Our dog can’t wait to get out of the car when we pull up to the kennel, and that’s the best review we can think of. Everyone at the kennel has shown a genuine love for animals, individualized attention for our dog, and excellent customer service, all delivered in beautiful, sparkling clean and expansive facilities. I’ve been utilizing the services of Sunset Kennels for over 5 years. It’s my only go to place for my dog and cats. The facility is owned and run by the most compassionate and knowledgeable people in the business. With veternarian office employment beginnings and first hand knowledge of the ins and outs of raising and caring for all breeds of dogs and cats, I have never walked away from dropping off my “kids” and feeling that they were not going to get the very best of care from all who work there. I really shouldn’t post this because I know every time I recommend Sunset Kennels I think that it will get to the day that they might not have enough space to accommodate my needs. But if that were the case, it would just make me happy to know that their success just continues to show their excellent care and compassion that they have for whomever they are accommodating. Highly recommend Sunset Kennels. My senior cat has a chronic med condition and was just diagnosed with a secondary issue, starting a new med. They did the necessary med treatment and got him to take the pill (something I struggled with), his room was spacious and quiet, and they returned him to me after six days calm, happy, and all brushed and fluffed. Couldn't be more pleased.

The prices are reasonable and I can rest assured that my dog is being taken care of while I'm out of town. He always gets a ton of exercise and interaction with other dogs. He comes home and passes out for a day or two afterwards because of all the excitement.

Needed a last minute place for my pets while I went to San Francisco for a few days, and thankfully they had availability. I typically don't board my dogs, so I was a little worried about how they would do. Staff were very friendly when I dropped them off, and when I came to pick them up my dogs seemed very happy and not traumatized. What a relief. Happy to know this place is close by if I ever need it. Definitely recommend!

Badger Creek Kennels is seriously so amazing! I will never take my dog anywhere else. Pricing is very affordable (you won't find anything cheaper), the yard they play in is beautiful, and most importantly, your dog will have so much fun! My dog has an insane amount of energy and I know he enjoys himself very much. Very thankful to have found this place! I always know he is in good hands. Jeri and her team are excellent and take care of your pets like they are there own! We've been coming here for years now and they know our 2 dogs well. They ways great them with open arms and know they love to give hugs. They have indoor/outdoor kennels that are wonderful for our big dogs as they can run even when in their own kennels. They also get yard time with other dogs paired for their temperaments and style of play too. The first time there, they paired our dog and watched him to make sure he fit well! When we pick them up they are always tired from playing so much. I would highly recommend Badger Creek Kennels.

I am so thankful to have found Badger Creek Kennels!! I boarded my small dog for 4 nights. This was the first time my little chi came home happy and not nervous/clingy like she has previously with other boarding facilities. It was also the first time she actually ate her food while boarding. Jeri took such great care of her and was patient to answer all my questions and give personal attention to specific needs. My 2 dogs just had a wonderful experience over at Badger Creek Kennels this weekend! We were throwing our human son's birthday party and wanted the dogs to have a great day as well, not stuck in the garage while 6 year olds ran a muck in the house. Our vet recommended Badger Creek, saying they were family run and super reputable, and that's exactly the experience we had. The owner, Jeri, was so helpful on the phone alleviating any of my concerns (since this was their first "kennel" experience, especially the first for our rescue since her time in the shelter), and was consistently on point with which vaccinations were required (even calling our vet to confirm when we forgot to bring documentation for the latest shot). The dogs were happy when they got there, and so happy and worn out from running in the yard and having a blast that they didn't want to leave, and slept as soon as they got home! Since they did so well, I can't wait to bring them back so enjoy their days on the farm with Jeri and the other dogs. Bully-breed friendly for our 2 rescues! Thanks so much, Jeri! We had an amazing experience with Pets Frolic Inn. They took such good care of our dogs while we were away. The prices are very fair and their service is amazing. We had our boys washed and groomed after their stay at Pets Frolic Inn and they looked and smelled better than they do when we take them to the groomers! The team there were friendly, easy to work with, and great at keeping in touch with us over the course of our trip. Our boys left there happy, well groomed, and even more mindful of their obedience cues! Five stars, definitely recommend them and will be coming back again for future travels!

***update on 8/26/24… the boys came back and boarded with frolic inn while we went to South Carolina. My opinion hasn’t changed. Kind staff and the boys came home wagging their tails. You can tell they had tons of fun. Highly recommend this business for your pups**** Wow! Great first impression. I dropped my dogs, brisket and chowder off at the frolic inn today for a trial run. They have to do a ‘test’ day to make sure they get along with other dogs & can be boarded for the weekend in the future. First impression is everything and from my initial phone call with the front desk staff member to being greeted… you can tell this place really cares about customer service. You can also tell they truly love animals. My dogs go wild for new places with excitement and the front desk staff member handled it so well. It’s obvious they’re used to high energy pups ;) When we picked our pups up at 1… you can tell they had a great time. The staff said they did really well with the other dogs. I’ll do an updated review once they stay the weekend for boarding. But so far, I’m very impressed :)

Good experience with staff at pets frolic inn. We have an elderly dog that requires special attention and when she behaved unusually Julia was really quick getting ahold of us and letting us know the situation in detail, and put us in touch with a vet. Highly recommend that team.

I found Pets Frolic Inn for my brother's cat when I was helping him and my mom move. They needed to be out of their place for nearly two weeks and it was really important to us that we found a safe and loving place for his cat, Honey. Pets Frolic Inn was the perfect place. The staff was so loving towards Honey and she had a nice, clean space and was happy and well-cared for in the two weeks she was there. And the staff was incredibly flexible as we had to add extra time at the Inn when the house was being shown to buyers. The staff was very friendly and patient. I looked at many other places and this was the only place I felt my brother would feel comfortable leaving his beloved cat.

Staff is very friendly, our 12 year old Shepherd stayed with them over a long weekend and by her actions and behavior we can tell she was well cared for. They have large out door runs, and for a dog use to running the hills and open property of Montana this was a great benefit.

Fantastic local boarder, not a chain. Definitely get the feeling they like the dogs and my dogs always come home happy. They even can wash the dogs. I’ve used them a few times and 5 stars

We love Pet Frolic Inn!!! Our 85 pound 8 month old puppy goes there for when we need a safe, loving, and entertaining place for her either over nights or when we take a long day trip. She is never nervous about going and enjoys play dates with a thoughtfully selected single companion pup. Cannot ask for more!

We dropped our dog off here for a 7 day stay and it was super easy. They have a bunch of outdoor space for the dogs to play/run. They also double checked we were all the way up to date on the dog's shots and stuff. Price was super good imo. Would use again for sure.

Heather and Levi are the best in the business I highly recommend them they are very caring and passionate about their career. They are very professional and there do you when you need them in caring for your pets. We have been taking our rotty pup here since she was 3 months socializing her and used to other dogs and environment. I can’t say enough about their curriculum and stance of outlook of a dog’s treatment and life. Pet frolic in is the best in CCC hands down price should not be a concern if you love your pets. Beautiful grounds with everything for your furry friends and impeccably clean and well maintained facilities. We've only been here for Specialty Dog shows, but it's like an oasis in the middle of valley. Future plans are to include Lure coursing and more. If ever I own and operate a dog facility, this is what it would look like : )

Just recently did a artificial turf install for their dog launch competition pool & while there it occurred to me how each staff member was EXTREMELY courteous & professional, the landscaping immaculate, the facility VERY clean, makes me want to take my dog here right away! & To top it off the owners themselves are very down to earth & know their BUSINESS well. It's a hidden gem in our county.

Always friendly, and my dog loves it there. I boarded my parents' dog the last tike we were there, and they got to be in the same kennel (and I got a discount). My dog always comes out happy when I pick her up, and I know she's treated well. I always have her bathed, which to be honest is kind of pricey, but they do a good job and to me, it's worth it.

Michelle did an amazing job grooming our dogs! Everyone there was super friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. I will definitely take my fur kids there again for grooming!

Reached out regarding boarding based on a couple great recommendations. I never board my dog but we’re going out of town with our newborn and it just seems easier than taking her on a very long car ride this time. I chose to reach out because of the good things I heard and I would feel better boarding my dog here. I was taken back when I was told I needed to bring my Staffordshire terrier to walk the kennels and do a meet and greet before she was approved to stay at the facility. My dog is reactive like many other breeds when she’s barked at, especially if it’s with someone she doesn’t know. She is not aggressive not one bit but because of her breed she was automatically discriminated against and that did not leave a good taste in my mouth. God forbid we went along with this crazy request and she was reactive and denied to stay there. I would have felt better if they told me it was for every breed but it’s not… very dissatisfied with this business and we didn’t even work together! I have reached out to multiple boarding facilities and no one else made this insane request. Photos of my dog. Does she look aggressive?

Their communication is HORRIBLE. God like complex from some who manage. The groomers are AWESOME and my two dogs will miss them greatly. However I refuse to let management insinuate we are not good dog owners due to an out of date "recommended" vaccination. I understand it is a private facility and they get to make their own rules, but I refuse to pay above average prices to be treated like $hit.

A Bed and Biscuit is great! Our dogs love it there and Cherie, the owner, loves dogs (and cats) and takes great care of all her guests. Kennels are spacious, well equipped, and there's lots of play time and free roam for the pooches. Plus, Cherie lives on site, a hard requirement for us. I won't leave our pets at a place that does not have someone on site 24/7. Highly recommended!

Cheri treats all the dogs like they were her own. Highly recommend bringing your pet here to try it out. We have been coming here for years, my dog is happy to go and happy when he returns home. Hours are convenient and she's flexible if you are in a bind. We get videos of our dog so that we can see all the fun he is having while we vacation. Can't say enough great things❤️

I have left my little Abby at Bed and Biscuit on several occasions. I am super happy with the treatment she recieved.she had a great time and was treated like a member of the family. I highly recommend Bed and Biscuit.

Sadly they don't take dogs over the weight of 30 pounds. But they were wonderful enough to give Recommended places.

We have used this Kennel for several years. I am so sad that they can’t accept dogs over I think 45 pounds anymore. We will miss this kennel.

Mary has been there for us in the drop off a hat. My husband requires treatment in SF and we literally have given Mary just hours notice that we need her and she never hesitates to be there. It's nice not to have to worry about my fur babies with her. They're in excellent hands. And she sends me pics of them which cheers me up. She also goes above and beyond with specific things needing to be done at the house (specific lights on, checking mail, garbage can day, etc.) I highly recommend her services, she's been incredible.

Mary watched our 7 cats while we were on vacation, and she did an amazing job! I got pictures of all kitties each day so I could see that they were ok. I could tell that she was nice to them because in the pictures, they really liked her. They enjoyed her company very much. She also made a photo collage of each kitty for me as a nice gift. It gave us a piece of mind to enjoy our vacation. I would highly recommend and will definitely use her services again in the future!

We had Mary watch our cats and fish while we were gone on vacation. We are so thankful that we did. One of cat's became ill and Mary took her to vet for us, dealt with long phone calls and wait time. Finding someone you trust to take care of a pet while you’re gone tends be stressful and difficult. I have a rescue cat who is a shy and nervous little guy. Because of his disposition, I didn’t want to board him and instead wanted to keep him home in a place he was comfortable and familiar with. Between his and my separation anxiety, I was really anxious about finding someone who would take care of him while my husband and I went on vacation. I am so beyond thankful I found Mary. Her initial house visit immediately put me at ease. We sat down and discussed everything, from the scheduled visits right down to every little detail. Her attention to detail and thoroughness of everything is really amazing. I wanted someone who would spend time with my cat instead of just “come to feed then leave,” so the fact there were options for the amount of time spend per visit was so appreciated. She also offered to take care of additional small tasks around the house while we were out, like watering plants and take out the trash, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful. I knew she was a perfect fit when she got a few pets in from my cat — without a single treat !! I knew he was in the best possible hands. Mary was so wonderful while we were gone. She sent pictures and video updates with each visit so I could see how he was doing (the photo uploaded is one she sent me). She was communicative, responsive, and professional, and I am thrilled to have a go-to sitter whom I truly trust. I cannot recommend Mary or her business highly enough. Thank you Mary !!

We highly recommend Mary’s Pet Project! Mary came in twice a day for visits with our kitty, Lucy while we were away on our first get away since COVID hit. This was also the first vacation in many years that we were able to really relax because we knew that Lucy was being taken care of so well. Mary sent photos & videos & that was so much appreciated. Our cat is very affectionate and likes attention and being around people at all times. She does not like being left alone. After moving to California 4 years ago, we were searching for a pet sitter. The Humane Society of Stanislaus County recommended Mary's Pet Project after hearing good things about her. She deals with all sorts of animals. My wife and I travel often, sometimes overseas, and need reliable visits to our cat. I was impressed that Mary maintains detailed files about every pet, including Vet and medication info if required. Mary texts updates, including videos of a kitty who is happy at receiving regular visits. She deals with all pet related cleaning, grabs the mail, and takes care of lights and other household adjustments. I would highly recommend her services.
