Our Lurcher Bryn goes for regular Daycare at Barkers. OK, I have to admit Bryn is the loveliest dog in the world, so of course he could be marked out for special attention but he is treated just the same as all others there. Like Royalty! It's the most amazing place for dogs. In fact I would love to go there be be treated so well in such gorgeous surroundings. This is a photo the owner sent me after his day there today. When we finally get to organise a holiday away for us, there is no doubt where he will be going! Barkers!!

We couldn’t have been happier with the care our puppy received. It was a big step for us to use day care, but Barkers were friendly and reassuring. Dougie had a great day, Helen sent photos during the day and at the end of the day sent an amazing video compilation of his day! We used Barkers as we were holidaying in the area, I only wish we lived closer! Thanks again, I would have no hesitation in recommending

Barkers is truly outstanding! The venue itself is absolutely fantastic with all home comforts , play barn and so much more! Helen and Kim’s care and thoughtfulness is second to none! I can’t praise them enough !

Dog paradise! Barkers look after your dog like its their own. Everything that your dog wants from the amount of walks they've got on their land to the indoor play area incase it's too wet to take the dogs out is designed with dogs in mind. Absolutely perfect safe and happy place for dogs. I wouldn't take mine anywhere else.

This business is the bee's knees of dog care. Our 7mth old retriever puppy has had wonderful care there, both at day care and overnight. His behaviour has improved in leaps and bounds and he is learning how to play properly and that we are his owners, not other dogs! His respectfulnness has increased. The girls who look after him are fab, end of! Can't recommend them highly enough.

This must be the best place ever to leave your furry friend. @choco_gina loves it here. Her auntie Helen spoils her rotten, games In the dog barn, walks in the woods, furry pals to play with, curled up by the Aga. Gina says her fur mom and dad can go away and know she will be looked after better than any kennels.

Great place to take your dog. Helen clearly has a great love for dogs and they love her in return. Wonderful facilities and a warm welcome.

Barkers is the most amazing place my dogs absolutely love it there and they come home happy and content and eager for their next play day.

Picked up our 2 springer spaniels and 1 cocker spaniel this morning. We were thrilled to hear that they had all behaved impecably and had clearly enjoyed their stay. Check in with Annie was easy and attention to detail on what each dog needed to enjoy thsir stay. You knew they were in good hands. Thank you all , I would not hesitate to use Windmill again if needed.

My experience here was incredible. I felt like my dog was in safe hands. For the price and quality of care he seemed to have got I'd highly recommend. When we arrived and gave in all his paper work, they immediately took him for a walk so he could get to know the girls. He took one look at me and almost forgot I was there until I picked him up. Brilliant

Could ask for a better place and excellent caring team. Even posted a video of Willow in the snow for us while we were away on their Facebook site. Worth looking at to see how happy your dog is.

Lottie our four month old Welsh Hound / Collie Cross. Had a trial day there. Seemed quite happy and loved the kennel maid. Booking her in for a few days next month.

Our 5 month old Welsh Springer Reuben has just boarded with Lissa for 9 days. I was very apprehensive about putting Reuben into kennels. I can now say with the biggest smile on my face and with much relief in my heart that he had the best time! Reuben was so happy when we collected him. He's grown in confidence and stature! Lissa is such a caring person who obviously prides herself on making every dog's stay enjoyable and stress free. While we were away, Lissa gave us regular updates and photos which made us feel very reassured. My husband and I highly recommend Windmill Boarding Kennels - Reuben will definitely stay there again! Thank you Lissa! 😊

I cant recommend Windmill Kennels and Lissa highly enough. Not only do my dogs get 5 star service while staying in the kennels, Lissa has years of veterinary nurse experience to deal with any medical needs your dog may have. And if that isn't enough, I can book my dog in for a wash and groom while she's in there! It's just perfect.

Well of course I didn't stay, but my pooches did... picking them up this arvo, very grateful to all that loved my babies whilst I was off gadin around, our doggy 🐕 angles, thank you 😊 …

I enquired about my 3 dogs staying in Cwtch Ni for a few nights. The reply I got was very rude. I was asked if they had been before to which I replied 'no'. The reply I had was 'then no'. How is a business supposed to gain new dogs? There is no need to be rude regardless.

Our experience with Cwtch Ni, and with Nia in particular, has been most outstanding. My wife and I found Nia a lady with a vibrant and amazing personality. Cwtch Ni was a place spanking clean, in spite of providing the lodging for a large number of dogs (in addition to the seven of her own) and a few other animals. There was not the faintest bad smell anywhere . Our Rosie loved the place and Nia instantly. She couldn’t wait for going out to run around in the acres of (heavily barriered) green field that was the hallmark of the facility. Among all our experiences of many quality dog boardings in the UK and elsewhere, we never felt so relaxed when we were coming back after leaving our child there. When we went to collect her, it was writ large in Rosie’s face and in her body language that she had a great time. She was happy and relaxed, in no hurry to cling to us and come back home. We never found her so NORMAL in every aspect after staying away from us, as if she had been in her second home. No wonder, Nia maintains that she looks after the doggies because of her love for them, not for business, and not to speak of the pittance she charges. Thank you Nia so very much for being there! Put my two dogs in for three days with grooming on the last day and couldn't be happier. They were well cared for and the grooming was superb.. Will definitely be booking them in again Thank you to Nia and Gillyan

Sorry but as you say you haven't received a 1 star review before. I rang with interest to have my sentence interrupted with "I am not taking any more dogs and especially a bank holiday weekend" I didnt find the response very friendly but wonder why you still advertise if this is the case? Therefore I will not be able to give a true review.

Nia is amazing! She's so friendly and accommodating. This place is a must for any gifts for the gardener, with covid-19 in mind! An excellent local garden centre.

The owners really care about the dogs and our Oscar loves them. We are very grateful to have found them

This is a lovely, safe, clean boarding kennels. The mother and daughter that run it clearly do love dogs and take very good care of them. I highly recommend this place. I use this place now each time I have to go away.

We left our gorgeous boy Bailey here for a 4 night stay, we really wasn't sure whether we were doing the right thing due to an extremely bad experience at a previous kennels when he was a puppy, but I'm so pleased we did, Nicola and Clarice were both so wonderful with him and the rest of their family. First morning home and he is trying to tell me what he wants following his wonderful routine he had with them, absolutely fantastic first stay thank you so much xx

We left our cat here for the first time while on holiday. He was very happy and well looked after. It is in such a beautiful location and very easy to find. He will certainly be staying again when we go away. Harry's stayed here now multiple times with no problems at all. He comes back home chilled.

Booked my dog magic for her first vist for the weekend a wonderful place the owner was fantastic very clean kennels booked again for a week in June

Left our 11 month old springer Hector here for three nights. We were apprehensive as we've never left him before but the owners were very reassuring and kept in contact with us via WhatsApp. Picked him up during the day and the owners were very accommodating and obviously caring people. Hector was happy to see them every day and we were happy he was well cared for. Lovely people.

We are considering taking on a dog an I wanted to sus local kennels for when we are away. Really welcoming an helpful.

This place is not for Cats, my Cat went there, they hardly put any cat litter in his tray, so he pood on his towel. They have nothing for them to climb about on and explore and he was frightened and was still frightened when we picked him up and he was only in for one night. It is just sheds where they are, he was in for one night from 4.30 pm to 5.30pm the next day and charged for a 2 day stay. May be great for dog but not cats.

Amy from All Paws, called in last weekend to give our family dogs, a cuddle and to play ball with them, while we were away for the afternoon. Both dogs are very special to us and finding someone who we felt able to trust and look after them is very important to us. After meeting Amy and her meeting the dogs, we felt they would be in good hands with her. I would highly recommend All Paws, I was able go away for the afternoon and not worry about our 2 special family members.

Had a lovely day out knowing that our German shepherd had someone to let her out and play with her, have more days out planned . Thank you so much .
