We've been working with C-PUP for dog walking and dog sitting for over a year now. We have three dogs of various ages, including a senior dog that requires extra-special care and C-PUP is incredibly attentive to all of their different needs. They are wonderfully communicative as well, especially during over-night pet-sitting. Your fur family will be in wonderful hands with C-PUP.

Over the years, all of our cats have been well taken care of by C-Pup. They are a pleasure to work with, trustworthy, and they always keep us posted (text msg and e-mail) on how things are going with our fur babies. Also, for us what is very important is that they are a local neighborhood business. Being local means being able to provide their services quickly.

I LOVE C-PUP! We have used them over the past few years and they are fantastic! Shannon (owner) is very professional, thorough in interviewing dog(s) owner(s), getting detailed information on what the needs and desires are of owners and pets!!! She is incredibly organized and meticulous in ensuring that pets and owners may leave each other with an easy mind. All of her staff have been generous, patient, lovely people who treat us (humans and pets) with great care! A detailed report card is left at each visit outlining the activities our dogs performed, their affect, and notes on the overall visit. We have traveled and used C-PUP for home stays and also as a dog walking service. Our dogs have become so familiar with C-PUP staff that it's as if another family member is with them. Wonderful, wonderful people and service. I can't say enough good things about Shannon and C-PUP! I recommend them to anyone and everyone expressing an interest in pet services. C-PUP has been walking our two dogs for over 2 years and they both still run to the door to great C-PUP's walkers every time they come to the house. Our dog walker, Emily, is terrific. Our dog is always delighted when she arrives for his daily walks and play. C-Pup is fantastic! We had someone stay overnight with our pets while we were gone and she did a great job. Typically when I go away I worry about our pets, but with C-Pup we got frequent updates and I knew they were in good hands. When we arrived home our cats and dogs were well-adjusted and excited to see us. I can't imagine going on vacation and having anyone else stay with our pets. I highly recommend C-Pup.

The team at C-PUP has been taking care of my Golden Retriever, Breeze since we brought her home 4 years ago. While my husband and I worked in full-time jobs during the day, we had multiple scheduled walks for her energy level. During that time, Breeze was so well cared for and loved, just as we would have done if we were there. As I transitioned to full-time work from home, I now call on C-PUP for our overnight sitting needs. When we go out of town, whoever stays with Breeze loves her just as much as we do. They provide detailed notes, pictures/updates and take care of any worries we have while we're away. I would recommend any of their services if you wish for your pet to receive the highest quality of care when you can't do it yourself!

We've been using C-PUP to look after our cats for several years, and we've always had an outstanding experience. We get email updates once or twice while we're away. We arrive home to find a written daily log of feeding, meds, visits, etc. I can recommend them without hesitation.

Shannon was so great! We met her and saw her home before deciding to board our chihuahua, Dash with her. Shannon is very knowledgeable about dog care and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Dash got personal attention throughout the day and cuddles in the evening. Shannon sent daily updates with pictures, reassuring us that he was doing well while we were gone. We couldn't have asked for better care for our little guy!

Our family has three small dogs that span a variety of ages (from 17 to 4!) and we travel a few times a year. With the stresses that come with traveling, the care and safety of our dogs is not one of them. The overnight care they receive via Shannon and Doug is even better than having them stay with family or friends. They are so attentive to our dogs' every and varied needs. Prior to the overnight stay, Shannon takes a lot of time to get to know the dogs needs and asks all the right questions. While we are away, we get great updates and photos — very reassuring when you are a hemisphere away! I'm especially heartened by Shannon's expertise with small dogs as this is an important factor for me when I look for caretakers for our pups. We lovingly spoil our dogs and we're so happy to have found care for them that knows to do the very same!

Bowie Pet Sitting was absolutely wonderful, dealing with Shannon was delightful. They were detail oriented, professional, friendly, efficient & just an absolute pleasure. Her & her husband took very good care of our cat & the daily update with pictures really eased my mind while gone. I also loved that she requested a quick email to confirm we made it back home safe & sound. When we got home we had a content, well cared for & happy cat. We've had nothing but great experiences with Doug and Shannon's cat sitting service. They've looked in on our cat several times over the past few years when we've taken trips out of the country. It puts our minds at ease to know that they are taking good care of our cat while we're away. I appreciate that they send cute photos and take time to play with her. Each time we've returned, our kitty has been in really good spirits, which lets us know she's been super well cared for. I have been using this pet sitting service for around 13 years - ever since it first started up in the College Park area. They have always been responsible and have given attention to my cats (fed, brushed, and petted) such that the cats were happy and relaxed when I returned.

Moving to a new area I was eager to find a cat sitter who would care for our cats at our home during our many travels throughout the year. Higgins was recommended by several in our community and I can see why. Jill visited our home for a meet and greet; answered all of our questions and got a “two paws” up approval from our cats as they rubbed against her legs with their endorsement. Her staff member Linda is outstanding! She sends photos of every visit, administers medicine twice a day for one of our cats and provides plenty of cuddle and play time. The website is user friendly and allows me to schedule visits, receive visit confirmation, ask questions and receive responses . . . all within 24 hours. In addition, both Linda and Jill have provided helpful information on caring for our cats for which we are grateful. I rate Higgins 10 out of 10

Higgins and Friends Pet Sitting is amazing! We have 2 cats and 2 birds, and one of the cats needs medications twice every day. The team from Higgins and Friends are true professionals, and they specialize in cats and giving meds! It's wonderful that they are a team, so they can back each other up if necessary, giving us real peace of mind that our pets will never miss a visit. Recently, we were away for a whole week. Every day we received notes and pictures with updates about our "babies." When we got back home, we couldn't believe how tidy the place was. They had cleaned around the bird cage and all the used cat and bird dishes were clean and ready for the next feeding. And any cat owner knows that cats can "mess up" with their hairballs and such, but there was no sign of any issues anywhere. The house and our pets looked great! We've worked with Higgins and Friends a couple of times now, and we are VERY impressed! We can't recommend them highly enough!

Absolutely the best sitter ever. We have a diabetic dog and Jill has done such an amazing job taking care of her whenever we need to go out of town, or just out for the evening. She has always been available, even on occasions with such short notice. She truly cares for pets and we are more than thankful for her.

I hired Higgins and Friends several times to feed and interact with my elderly cat while I was out of town. More recently Kyle started medication to be given twice a day which Linda handled without difficulty. I am thrilled I found this service. My mind is at ease while I am away. Linda, the person who cares for my cat, stays in touch (often sending photos), takes time to interactive and play with Kyle, scoops the litter box daily, and is responsive to questions and concerns. I highly recommend Higgins and Friends.

I feel like words cannot capture all the wonderful things I want to say about Jill and the care she provided to my fur baby ,Fred. Fred was unfortunately diagnosed with kidney failure and Jill has provided daily much needed care, including hydrating Fred with subcutaneous fluids and medication administration . Fred is regularly stand off-ish with anyone other than myself and my husband but Jill quickly won him over. I really can't say enough good things about Jill and Higgins and Friends Pet Sitting. Jill and her carefully selected team of pet sitters are diligent in their care and strive to meet any need including specifically timed visits to accommodate medications, senior pet potty schedules, meal times, etc. They are great about checking in and sending updates and pictures. Our sitters were regulars at our house and I think our dogs were generally more excited to see them than us since they were the food, fun play and cuddle people. When we recently moved away, finding pet care was in my top 3 worries. I know we'll be hard pressed to find anyone as reliable and dedicated as Jill and her team. I had a family emergency Saturday at 4.30 pm and needed to run to the ER. I contacted Jill for emergency dinner feeding of my 2 resident cats and a friend star kitten. All 3 eat different food! Jill jumped right on it and kept my cats from starving since I didn't get home until close to 10pm. Jill’s GREAT!
