Cat Sitters in Westfield Center, OH

My 3 girls love going to aunt Ri's. One is a 12 yr old lab, the a 10 yr old Yorkie and now our 5 mnth old beagle. When we drop them off they go right in and feel at home.

Quoted one cost over the phone and then was charged another upon pick up of my pet. Additionally, the hours were even for drop off and pick up but yet the total was not a divisible number from the number of days? The lady attendant and the man present were both argumentative and didn’t explain the cost at all. I’ve used them several times before but this was a far different and negative experience all together! Not to mention that all of my dogs supplied treats were used but not enough of the food for the time I was gone. Updated once arrived home- my dog has liquid diarrhea and two paws have cuts on them. I am appalled and so angry!!!!

The first time we boarded here it was no problem. The second time, however, my dog was returned with badly infected eyes. Her eyes were swollen, dark red, and her face was caked with puss. I gasped when I saw her and the owner acted as if I had dropped her off like that. My dog was clearly in pain and in need of immediate medical attention. She has NEVER had an infection before. In 7 years she has never been seen for anything other than routine veterinary care. What kind of person allows a dog to suffer like that? It's completely inhumane. I called the vet from the parking lot and drove immediately there. My dog had an ulcerated cornea and an advanced infection in both eyes. The vet had examined my dog only 2 weeks earlier as we prepared to leave town and she was in perfect health at that time. I had my 4 year old child with me during all of this which was also stressful. That evening I spent over an hour slowly cleaning my dog's face of the caked-on puss. Underneath, I discovered several lesions that were also clearly painful. My dog's health and safety was completely neglected and it sickens me that this was allowed to happen. Since her stay at the end of March, 2024, and the resulting $600 of medical care, my dog has a chronic infection on the side that her eye was ulcerated. We have to go back to the vet and who knows how much more money? Not to mention the pain that my best furry friend has suffered and continues to endure and the fear and stress my family has suffered as well. If I had left my dog in their care for 2 weeks instead of 1 she would have lost an eye. I can't believe this was allowed to happen. It's absolutely abhorrent. It is reprehensible that they didn't help her or even call me. I'm not saying this is routine for this boarder, since they've been in business for a long time, but I'll never go back there. What if the next time my dog didn't survive?

We have never boarded our dog Tyson before so we were very nervous. He’s almost 12 years old and can be dog aggressive but loves all people. My husband made sure the owner was aware and she made us feel at ease. He was loved his entire stay and was safe! She never once sounded annoyed with all of our questions or our call to check on him! If we ever have to board him again, this will be the place we use! He came home clean (he didn’t smell like he had been in a kennel) as well as his bedding and my husband was very impressed with the kennels cleanliness as well as how it was heated nicely for the animals. I will recommend this place to anyone for their animals!

Never, ever again! Took my two English Crème Golden Retrievers (2 and 1 1/2 years old) to Aunt Ri’s for a week stay as my usual kennel was booked. My wife picked the dogs up upon our return and was frustrated and extremely disappointed in what she saw and encountered. The bag of treats we provided were never opened even though we were told no problem that they would give them to the dogs. The dog toys we provided were never given to our dogs to use during their stay. Archie, our oldest was missing more than half of the hair off his tail. When my wife asked what happened it was clear they had not noticed it before her comment and then gave the answer that the reason for the hair loss was “excessive wagging” WHAT?? When both dogs came home, they drank five bowls of water over a three hour period. WHY?? Harper, the youngest, has had diarrhea since she got home. $400 to board and another $320 for new medical bills! “Excessive Wagging,” are you kidding me! Never, ever again

Been a while since using this place but decided ought to leave a review about our experience to help others. Hopefully our precious pups are all well-cared for here. I can tell you we picked ours up in one piece. Just some kennel cough. Very strong bleach smell upon entering facility. Only other thing I know for sure is the owner has the poorest people-skills. Never went back due to her rudeness. I thought it was a fluke but have since heard from others similar stories. Would much rather pay more anywhere else.

Love the staff! My daughter has a hard time leaving her dog. The ladies allowed my daughter to see the process and how our dog learned what to do within 2 visits. We tend to call and do a check up and they always give us an update. Our fur baby love it!

My normal kennel was closed for remodeling so i had to find another place to board my dog for a weekend. I called ahead and scheduled a bath and a 3 day stay for my dog. I asked the lady if it was ok to bring his blanket and bone, she said 'of course'. I picked up my dog at the scheduled time on sunday and was told they didnt have time to give him a bath. How can you not have 'time' to do your job? They returned my dogs blanket and bone, both completely unused? Did they take care of him at all? Did they even bother to feed him, or was that a other job they didnt have time for? I wish my dog could talk.

Took our dogs here, sounded great on the phone and even when I came in to check it out. When we got our dogs back on Sunday they charged 80$ instead of the 40 I was told. Also my dogs blanket smelled like urine after they said they make sure they take the dogs out..our dogs never have accidents. My advice don't go here, now I have to find another place.

Excellent kennels to keep your loved family pet safe while your away. Nice runs out back allow your furry family pet the ability to exercise and sniff four plus times a day. A trained and caring staff see to your loved pet ensuring a happy reunion upon your return.

It's A Dog's Life Pet Daycare, Resort & Spa is a wonderful facility. My dog can't wait to get there everyday. I feel so blessed to have a place that takes care of my girl just as I do. It's her home away from home. I don't know what I'd do without them. I have toured other facilities and by far this is the best one. Barb and her staff are amazing. I highly recommend this to all of my friends and family. Check it out if you get a chance, you will not be disappointed.

We have been taking our puppy here for several months. Usually for daycare, but also used boarding service as well. They are very flexible with drop off and pick up times. My dog loves it there. She sits and whines until it's time to leave in the morning. She plays all day and sleeps all night. I don't know how I would get her all the activity she needs without them. The staff is great and they all know each dog there. I was so glad to find a doggy daycare near the square and have been very happy with the service. I absolutely recommend to others.

This is hands down THE BEST pet daycare center around! Barb, the owner, is very in tune and involved in making IADL your pet's home away from home. Sunni, the manager, is beyond amazing with ALL the fur babies and the rest of the staff shows nothing but love and patience for each guest! My Willow is very happy here!

When we had booked a trip to Lake Tahoe last April, we never would have imagined we would have gained a new pup (totaling 3) and also that we would have lost our in house dog sitter who we relied on for years. We found Barb, Sunni and Zach at It's a Dog's Life - and couldn't be happier! We really did not want to board our dogs for that amount of time so we hired these guys to in house sit. BEST DECISION EVER. Not only were we comfortable having our babies at home, but we also couldn't dream of better care. My boy Gus loves this place - when he comes home, he's tired but I know he's been safe and had a great time. I've used both the daycare and boarding services and will also recently set up for home visits when I'll need them. They have discount days here and there that are great to help save money but we still get the great services. Nice local business.

Great doggy daycare. Flexible drop off and pick up times. No requirement on how many times a week. Great way to socialize your dog. She offers package deals and a half price day. Also offers boarding in bedroom style rooms.

Barb is truly the best! She is the only person I trust to care for our two dogs. Barb is very reliable and ALWAYS there to help us even when it’s very last minute. We are truly grateful to have such a caring, reliable and experienced person to care for our dogs. Our dogs love her too!

We LOVE bringing our energetic young Airedale here! The owner is accommodating and kind. I know my dog is in good hands and he always comes home happy and tired! He also can’t wait to come back!!!

To be fair, my dog never actually attended this place. I went and visited it first to scope it out and fill out paperwork instead of receiving it via email since I live close. This was my review of just “checking the place out”. I Had high hopes, it would’ve been the perfect solution for a Half day doggie day care. Just so my young, energetic dog could run and play with other dogs. Unfortunately, the whole operation seems low class. The first red flag was when The only car out front was so full of trash that it was falling out of the car and the windows were almost entirely covered in the back. one could reasonably assume it was an employee’s since it’s the only one around (which speaks volumes). Second red flag, there were no dogs outside while I visited. if dogs are on a rotation then I would expect to see at least one outside, running, playing, on a walk or going to the bathroom. Third red flag, I was Greeted with an eye roll, told “I never know where anyone is”, and the Inside was dirty, unkempt and unorganized. Employees didn’t seem to have any respect for each other. I wanted this to be the perfect place or even just a good place, it was not.

All the staff members make an effort to give pets one on one attention and opportunities for socialization. My big guy had so much fun, he didn't want to leave!

I took two of my dogs here because it was close to work and considering a “situation” happened with one of my dogs as the workers would say I would never ever step foot in this place ever again. I received no phone call about said situation but after taking my dog to the vet immediately because she received a bacterial infection from this place because it’s not sanitary. After talking to the owner who was completely ruthless and not even offering any sympathy and just said “your dog came in like this” is completely uncalled for. And on top of it her own dog that comes there is aggressive and I have physically witnessed the her dog trying to jump out of the vehicle after people, I have no clue how this place is still open.

My wife and I were introduced to the owner Barb many years ago through a mutual friend. It's very apparent to us that Barb's professionalism, as well as her love for animals is the reason our dogs have always received top-notch care. Highly recommended!

They call the cops when you are not even on their piss smelling property. Owner is a Karen. Would never let me dog come here. She seems too irresponsible and dismissive of her own mistakes judging by her responses to other people's incidents with their dogs.

I do NOT recommend. Multiple dogs have escaped from here before. They gave us a $100 gift card to come back after my family's two dogs got loose.

We have used Barb for many years as an in home cat sitter and our cats adore her! We recently boarded our two dogs with Barb and we now understand why she calls her facility It’s a dogs life! We boarded our 9month old golden doodle puppy and our 9 year old toy fox terrier. We were most concerned about our 9 year old dog who had never been boarded any place different for her entire life. No worries, the staff sent videos of how happy she was. They played with her out of kennel and she even gave them doggie kisses❤️. Our puppy ran around outside in the play area getting all his zoomies out. We can not be more pleased with the wonderful care our pets received. Barb, Sunni and staff were great and their love for what they do is obvious! We will be back again and highly recommend It’s a Dogs Life to any pet owner looking for quality care for their pets! I had questions and tried to call but was unable to speak to anyone, only an automated message. I tried the extension that is listed as “emergency” and got no answer, multiple times. I definitely won’t be bringing my dog here! A good start would be a more informative website at the very least.

Whenever I go out of town and need someone to care for my 14 yr old black lab companion, I go here. Like dropping my best friend off to a family member. “Aunt Karen” provides the love and kindness to my puppy, and she loves going there. Huge recommendation for K9!!!!!

She takes great job of taking care of our husky when we go out of town.

We were heading out on our annual vacation and decided to look into other options for our high anxiety dog outside of her typical Vet Kennel as we knew she’d be much happier staying home in her known environment and we’d be happier knowing she wasn’t getting kennel cough from all her anxious barking at the other dogs. I found Carla on a google search and after a few other companies which I didn’t find comfortable for one reason or another. Carla was fantastic and the perfect fit. She came out and met our little lady while giving us the information for her services. Ultimately allowing us to take the lead in what we needed and wanted for our dog while we were away. We felt 100% safe with Carla coming into our home 2 to 3 times a day and feeding, walking, playing and loving up on Tini. Carla took plenty of photos and gave a detailed update on how everything was going with each visit. It was so relaxing to know our dog was well taken care of and we never had to worry. A fantastic service indeed, especially for those pets that would much prefer to be home while their loved ones are away. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Carla is an awesome pet sitter and has been taking care of my cats for the past two years while we travel. I use Carla about 8-10 times a year. She is super responsive when you communicate with her and always provides pictures of the animals which I love!!. She truly loves animals and I can tell in the communications she sends. I find Carla to be extremely reliable and I always rest easy when she looks after my cats. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing any kind of pet service. I also find her pricing to be extremely reasonable. I can’t say enough good things about Carla!

Carla has been amazing with our dogs. She has been watching them since our now 6 month old puppy was about 12 weeks old. The pups love her and it makes me feel good that they will get a visit from someone who gives them so much TLC. I love getting pics from her when I’m at work. 2023 to 2024. I want to share my wonderful experiences at this GREAT KENNEL called Dog Gone Crazy in medina, OH. The staff are pleasant and hardworking. Ichristie if the Office Mgr. I'm glad i found this place for my little dog. I would not leave my dog just anywhere they are your babies. Im very picky about where my little terrier goes. They alao groom your dog.

Friendly staff. They show love towards our cat. Took great care of him. They will medicate your pet as well.

We have used Dog Gone Crazy a few times now and the staff is wonderful! Our boys are so cared for and loved. They always come back happy and their blankets always come back freshly washed! They seriously are the best we have found and we trust them with our babies! Great staff and wonderful facilities.

We are long time clients of Dog Gone Crazy. First and foremost their care for our two dogs is beyond stellar. Our dogs love staying with them and are always excited when they go. Their customer service is amazing. They truly do go above and beyond to make every stay as easy as possible.

We are so comfortable leaving our dog here because we know that he is well taken care, safe and loved. We board and daycare because he loves to be there at his home away from home. Best part is the compassion the workers have for these fur babies!

My two standard poodles have been vacationing at Dog Gone Crazy since we moved here in 2012. They get incredibly great personalized care, and I wouldn't leave them anywhere else. But the real review is from Hektor and Oblio. They go into the office, and pull me straight to the door to go back to the kennels. They love it!

I will never bring my dogs here again! We booked a reservation for our dogs back in July for Labor Day weekend. We called today to see what time we can drop the dogs off and they told us one of our dogs rabies vaccination expired in July and they couldn’t take the dogs!! Why didn't they call us to let us know ahead of time!? We could have taken care of that a while ago! The girl that we talked to was rude! It’s like .. well too bad! We had referred people to this place but after this, I will never again! I wish there’s an option for 0 star!!

I love this place When I visit Wendy Watts and wonder They Act as if they are leaving their family for a few They are always excited to see me although they absolutely love the staff here. Definitely recommend them. And the staff falls in love with the dogs as if they are their own. Hands down the best place to keep your animal safe and feeling like the right at home. The prices are a little pricey If your doing it long term but they are really not that bad. I had to use their services for 2 months so that's why I feel it was pricey. They keep your dog fed and on the same schedule as you have it on. But you will be a 100% satisfied guaranteed in my opinion anyway.

I hate to be writing this because I rarely write reviews, let alone poor ones. I was grateful that Memory Lane was able to accommodate both of my pups on short notice, however our experience there was far from pleasant. Both of our pups came back with completely different temperaments. Our 1 1/2 year old has been to numerous pet hotels, as well as attends daycare regularly and we have never seen her act the way she did when we picked her up. Both her and our 6 month old pup stayed for 3 nights at Memory Lane. They both came back anxious and afraid, alone with hacking nonstop. It turns out they both caught kennel cough. It took almost a week before their behavior was semi back to normal and they stopped acting so anxious. They now both have to be on meds for kennel cough and have been miserably coughing and vomiting for almost a week straight. I am disappointed that there are no cameras at this facility whatsoever. I am scared to think about how my pups were treated. While yes, it is on the cheaper side as far as pet kennels, it is in no way worth compromising my puppies’s well-being. We will NOT be returning to this kennel and based on my experience I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone else.

They gave our dogs Clostridium and cost us $2000 in vet bills. Our dogs were temporarily paralyzed from the bacteria they got here. Then they took down our reviews. Good luck with the news team!

Memory Lane is the best place for boarding your fur family:) Our dog always recognizes the girls who work here when we walk in and she hands out kisses to everyone. They are so kind to her. We can tell the difference in her demeanor when we pick her up from here, vs anywhere else. I couldn't enjoy a vacation if I didn't have confidence she was being taken care of. Thank you memory lane for loving animals as much as we do!!!!! You are the best!

Took good care of our dogs while we were on a week long trip.

Memory lane took great care of our lab puppy while we were out of town. Ended up needing to stay an extra day and they were very easy to work with. Prices are great too!

After using many other places with doggie daycare and boarding, I would always end up with 2 dogs that exhibited serve separation anxiety and depression . Then a friend told me about Memory Lane Pet Resort. I wish I would have found this place sooner. My dogs love the staff as if they were family. I love all the attention and affection they receive while in their care. When I say we are going to doggie daycare or your going on a doggie vacation they run outside and jump right into my car.. My babies are always smiling from ear to ear to and from their second home! Thank you memory lane for keeping my babies safe and making them feel loved when I'm away!!

We have recently found out about Your Dogs' Home Away From Home and we love it. The owners are wonderful and you can tell they love Dogs. They have a fenced in area which is a must for our Sammie. He love s them already and enjoys the time playing with other dogs. As an only dog it is fun for him to get away and we don't have to leave him alone when we are gone too long.

I took my dog here for the first time this summer. It was a great experience. I got constant updates and videos of my dog while on vacation. It was comforting to know she was in good hands. I will definitely take her back.

When we lost our petsitter I reached out to several petsitters. Our dogs are family so I needed the very best. Animal Crackers returned my call right away. Michelle connected me with other customers who spoke highly of her to help me feel reassured. From day one Michelle has been professional, prompt, personable, kind and reliable. She watched our two dogs, one of which was an 8 month old puppy, for an 8 day period and did an amazing job! She sent videos and updates daily, even bought the puppy a new toy and picked up extra dog food for us when we were running low. The dogs loved her! We came home to healthy and happy dogs and were able to enjoy our vacation. I would highly recommend her and we will have her care for our dogs again. Thanks Michelle!

She’s always available to look after my pets whether it be a planned visit or a spur of the moment emergency; she’s always been there! So appreciative of that as well as her reasonable cost. We have used Michelle to watch our two very shy cats while we've been on vacation. She was conscientious about making sure our kitties were okay and had everything they needed on a daily basis. Michelle was a true find. I had to leave for a business trip and my cat wasn’t feeling all that well, she was isolating and not eating. I brought Michelle in for a meet and greet and she assured me my cat would be in good hands and I could leave for my trip with confidence. Each day I got an update and photo as an update and peace of mind. Michelle fed my cat a different diet and mama took well to that. Michelle, owner of Animal Crackers Pet Care is just amazing. She has been caring for my little dog, Sophie, almost since I brought her home. She is visiting a few times a week to give my little girl a break. I can't express enough how caring she is, and has a genuine love for animals. I feel at ease when I know she is coming to let Sophie out for potty. She is sensitive to my pup's moods and sometimes she plays with her, and sometimes when Sophie feels like cuddling Michelle takes time to just hold her and pet her, never rushing. She is great communicator, sends me pictures and videos and lets me know how my little girl was doing for that day, while I am at work. She is just great, and I trust her completely.

Just used her for our 1 year old dog. It was her first boarding experience and she was so helpful and accommodating. The grounds are amazing and very very clean. She was able to accommodate us with only a few days notice and allowed us to pick up on Sunday. She communicates with you anytime you have a question or if you just want to check in. It was also very clear they she had an excellent rapport with animals and truly loves them. Take a tour of the place and I am sure you will never want to take your puppy anywhere else!

We now live 1 hour from Misty Meadows, but still use Jamie to board our dog anytime we go out of town. She truly treats our dog like he is her own, he is so well taken care of, is always happy to arrive at her home, and she offers grooming services before pick-up so the dogs are so soft and smell amazing when you pick them up! She has flexible hours and runs her business from her own property, so if your travel plans change or you need to pick-up on a Sunday it is no problem. 10/10 recommend!

Best dog groomer in northeast ohio. She gives perfect haircuts and can even make your dog look cute if he needs to get shaved. She’s so friendly and reasonably priced and I feel comfortable leaving my dog alone with her. She also offers onsite pet sitting service though I’ve never utilized that. Overall this business is a gem in the community

There is no better Groomer in the area. Misty Meadows Farms is amazing all around. The service they provide and quality is great. The dogs love it there. As most immortally I trust to leave my dogs there knowing they are in great hands. I will always refer anyone to Mist Meadows Farms!

I boarded my 9 month old boxer puppy at Misty Meadows in June of 2021. The owner seemed very nice and knowledgeable on dogs. If you’ve never owned or know a boxer they are high energy. My puppy is all boxer, as sweet as can be but very attached to me and very energetic. We brought him to the barn with a harness on because he pulls. I was told to take the harness and leave him with a collar. Fast forward to picking him up 10 days later. We go into the barn to get him and she just lets him loose. Then continues to stand there as I try and get his harness on, on a very excited puppy!! I thought that was strange but ok. Well, we get him home and he’s coughing and gagging. I take him to the vet and they assumed he had kennel cough, I put him on antibiotics and after awhile his coughing went away but not completely. Two months later I brought him back for the day while we went somewhere. She has me bring him in her house this time and has me remove his harness. As I am leaving she grabs him by the collar and holds him up as he is trying to get to me!! Then she screams in his face that he’s hurting her!! As I left, I realized what I just saw it became clear. That is why he was coughing and gagging after the last time! I hated to leave him but I had somewhere I needed to be. When we picked him up she said he dragged her from the house to the barn and she tied him to a post for awhile. Needless to say he again was coughing and gagging for days. My opinion is she does well with calm well-trained dogs. If your dog is not she is a nasty person. Whenever I think about how my dog was treated I get so upset. I can’t imagine how much trauma she caused by pulling on his collar and probably holding him in the air. He stills coughs occasionally when his throat is pressed!

This has got to be one of the most beautiful pet grooming/day care facilities I have ever seen. It's a private residence that has acres of land that houses lots of animals. Extremely clean with the most friendly and caring operator. You can see and feel the love she puts into the care of each visitor she gets. She is knowledgeable in the care of the animals . I can honestly HIGHLY Recommend this facility. Located in Grafton she is reasonably priced and once you meet her and see the place, well....I don't think you will ever want to go anywhere else.

I was coming in from out of town and my original boarding plan cancelled on me two days before so I called here - she was so responsive and able to get me in last minute. She is so caring w the animals and took great care of my pup who is a very nervous and anxious boarder. Wish I lived closer to use her again, def recommend!

Jaime has been very accommodating with boarding our dogs on short notice. They love it there and always come back tired. Both are rescues and one has some anxiety when she goes to new places but that is not the case here. There is so much to smell that I don't think she even realized that I was gone!

My Toby's a feisty little guy and Jamie did a great job of being patient and helping him calm down and make it thru. He also came out looking so handsome! LOL! By the end she had won over a new friend!! Definitely planning to come back!
