This was our first time using zeewoi and we were a little apprehensive, especially as we were going away for almost 5 weeks, but we really didn’t need to be. Mary and Kevin were fantastic from the start. They had excellent communication and put us at ease straight away. They looked after both our cats with lots of care and we came home to two very happy and content kitties. Mary and Kevin struck the balance just right whilst we were away by keeping us informed of how the cats were and sending pictures of what the cats were up to every couple of days. It was so lovely to know that the cats were enjoying themselves and being so well looked after whilst we were away. Mary and Kevin also looked after our house extremely well and we came back to a very clean and tidy home. We would definitely recommend Mary and Kevin to anyone needing a house sitter and would love for them to sit for us again if they were ever back in the area.
Kendra was a great cat sitter to Genepi and she truly is a cat whisperer. Genepi usually takes 4 days to make friends with a new person but she came out and made friends with Kendra Day 1! Kendra regularly sent wonderful videos and pics of Genepi purring happily. The apartment was neat when we returned and our garden was blossoming. Would absolutely ask Kendra to sit again and highly recommend her. Thanks Kendra!!
Florence and Robert were outstanding sitters. We asked them to arrive a day early as our guests to learn the routine on our farm. In getting to know them we found them to be good hearted, down to earth people with a love of animals and diligent in learning our routines to care for our poultry, cats and dog as well as our garden and orchard. Not a typical or easy sit. We travelled with ease knowing our critters were being well taken care of. Arriving home, the house was very clean and looked well cared for. The animals were healthy as were the garden and orchard. Out pets missed them when they left – our dog stared down the driveway after them until their car was out of sight. It is nice to find sitters we would like to hang out with and we look forward to having them sit for us again.
Carole and Ron are excellent cat-sitters! They took very good care of my cat Lola and of my house. I came home to a happy cat and a very clean and tidy house. They sent me pictures of Lola and kept me updated, so that I had a very relaxed holiday. I very highly recommend them as cat- sitters and I would be thrilled if they would come back to sit for Lola again. Thank you so much!
I was fortunate to have Hillary return for a second sit. She took excellent care of both my cat and my home. She got on well with my neighbors and even allowed my friend to come visit Suley while she was there. I especially appreciate how flexible and accommodating she was regarding arrangements for a sitter who would be taking over for the second part of my very long absence. All in all, Hillary is a gem!
Jenny was an absolute delight, lovely to speak to and patient with last minute changes. I have had bad experiences with trusting people with my cats before so was really anxious as Jenny is the first house sitter I have used from zeewoi. But, I felt at ease as soon as I spoke to her, she has a lovely manner and she came round the day before the sit to male sure she had every detail right. But I think the thing that helped the most was her regular updates about my cats. I could see from the videos she sent they were given lots of love and attention. My cats don't usually play with people but my little girl seemed to love her! My flat was immaculate when I got back as well, I am so grateful to Jenny for all her help and really hope to have her sit for me again!
Kathryn was such nice and kind sitter that both of my boyfriend and me were grateful to have, including my cats!! My cats seemed having great time with her, being around her, chilling on couch with her, or even sitting on her. I got several photos of my cats from her with whort updates. I’m thankful that she let me do facetimes with her when I missed my cats. The house was clean and tidy when we came back. I definately will ask her again to sit my cats and house when I need. Thank you Kathryn!!:)
Lindsey watched our cat and dog for a long weekend when we went out of town. She was a very communicative sitter sending frequent pictures and voice notes with updates. She did a great job of following their schedules and giving them attention. The animals seemed to be happy and relaxed when we returned home and I believe Lindsey enjoyed getting to discover all of the eateries our town has to offer. A win-win for everyone!
Greetings Pet People, I am a bit late leaving my review for Kristine who is local to us and has taken care of our kitties Max and Luis a few times this year. After COVID-19 was announced in March, our travel plans came to an abrupt halt. We had to cancel a lot of trips we had planned but decided that it was safe to go camping a couple of times this summer. We called on Kristine as one of our favorite sitters on this site. We discussed safety protocols and agreed to cleaning that we would do to leave the house safe for her to enter. She shared protocols that she had taken with other homeowners and had sound processes to make us feel safe leaving our cats and our home in her care. She even purchased batteries for our automatic cat feeder when it failed to let one of our confused kitties to eat. Kristine is a smart, humorous and a thoughtful person. I would not hesitate to recommend her for your sit. She truly loves animals and taking care of your home. Highly recommended! Thanks Kristine!
Kristine was wonderful again as our local sitter from just down the street. The boys take to her like she is their best friend whenever she comes to sit with them. She sent us photos of them playing, relaxing, drinking water and eating so we knew they were well taken care of. The house and the cats were in excellent shape and excellent hands while we were away. It is wonderful that she enjoys the house and the cats so much and tells us so. Kristine comes with our highest recommendation! Thank you Kristine!
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home overnight at Sittsy.
How much should you pay someone to watch your cat?
At least 20$ per visit, $23/week per overnight watching in your home, otherwise you can find a free sitter at Sittsy.
What do people do with their cats when they go on vacation?
Inviting a cat sitter to your home, boarding the cat with a local business, asking a friend, family or neighbour to feed and check the well-being. The most efficient way to leave your cat during your vacation is with Sittsy cat sitters overnight, in this way, you will save cat sitting costs and make vacation not only for you but also for your cat sitter!
I had my dog stay at the Ruff House Dog Day Care in Fort Wayne Indiana for four nights, it was $42 per night, they charged $30 me for a wash but they didn’t wash my dog and they even cut his hair without my permission. Never again.
Our very first time at Ruff House and it was even better than we expected! Friendly , compassionate and patient! So excited to continue having our sweet boy attend weekly daycare. Thank you all.
We’ve been bringing our dog to Ruff House for weekly daycare and occasional boarding for 5 years now. We’ve never had any issues whatsoever at Ruff House. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, our dog is always super excited to be dropped off here, and they also do in house nail trimming which has been extremely convenient for us. We usually drop our dog off around 7AM and pick him up around 5:30AM which is always extremely quick and easy; we’re usually just able to hand him off and go. I would highly recommend Ruff House for anyone looking for a good Daycare facility.
We recently started bringing our two Heelers here and they absolutely love it. The second we pull into the lot they know exactly where they are and go crazy with excitement. We’ve also had them boarded here a couple of times and they come back tired and happy! We do wish there were more opportunities for boarding in case something comes up and we have to board them but we understand they only board during certain periods of the year. Not a big issue for us! I would recommend trying Ruff House out if you’re in the area. As of this post, they are accepting new clients!
I can't say enough about the facility and the staff, these folks are fantastic! They are proactive and provide my two dogs (2 doodles) with a safe, fun environment and me peace of mind. Thank you for all that you do for our family and Baily & Molly!
We have been sending our dog Chief here for years for social interaction and boarding. He is a regular on a Wednesday and occasionally needs boarding. All experiences are great! He comes home happy , tired from playing and always wants to go back!! The staff is friendly in person and on the phone. Easy to work with and flexible. We loves the Ruff house. ❤️🐕
A great place to either board or put your dog in for day care. Staff is kind and definitely loves animals ❤ Picture is sign from road so you won't miss it
Super friendly staff and very reasonable rates. Our boy Rudy comes home exhausted every day from playing and he is always so excited on day care days to get in the car! Always love seeing the picture updates they post
Great staff. Wonderful training tips from the owner. Our Gunnar loves the owner… our Panda is always ready to get in to Ruff House. Sweet place.
Fantastic Dog day care / boarding facility. Owners and personnel are always friendly and my pooch seems to be very well cared for. Does small dog group trainings and the guy knows his stuff! Has really helped with my overly excitable lab. They are generally pretty busy because they are so good.... call ahead and you'll find they try to do their best to match your schedule.
Mary took away all of our anxiety about leaving our three month old puppy alone. In December we got the first puppy of our lifetimes and, being retired, we stayed at home for three months doting on her. When friends came to meet Beazie, we observed that she was timid and it took her a while to become comfortable with each new person. We dreaded the inevitable time when we would both have to be away from the house and leave her in the care of someone else. Mary volunteered to come for a meet and greet prior to our first pet sitting appointment. She requested that we run through Beazie’s entire potty routine from beginning to end to accustom Beazie to her presence. Mary instinctively knew how to approach Beazie in a way that helped her become more at ease. She brought treats and a special toy which continues to be her favorite as she approaches her first birthday. After only a few minutes, Beazie was settled in her lap without fear and Mary’s love of animals was clearly on display. Her practical knowledge of animals and their behavior has been incredibly valuable as we have never raised a dog. Mary is friendly, trustworthy, flexible and dependable. We never worry a minute when we are away from the house. We don’t know what we would do without Mary. Neither does Beazie!
I can't say enough good things about Mary Littlefield who takes care of our very timid cat when we travel, which we do often. Miss Violet usually streaks upstairs when she hears a car pull into the driveway, and there she keeps watch from the top step, expecting pillage and mayhem and the demise of us all .... unless it's Mary. Then she comes downstairs quickly and purrs loudly while directing long, meaningful glances toward her sitter. She's utterly shameless in her admiration for Mary. We try to ignore Miss Violet's outlandish behaviour, but sometimes wonder if we should spend more time at home -- put a little damper on this foolish infatuation. There was a crisis three years ago when Miss Violet swallowed a long string, and we weren't due back for another week. Mary handled the situation beautifully and kept us abreast of what was going on before and after the procedure to remove it. (Thanks, Mary!) Mary has apologized for endearing herself so to Miss Vi, and we forgive her wholeheartedly. She's become indispensable to our gadabout family. I can't recommend Mary Littlefield highly enough to anyone who travels and needs to leave a shy kitty at home.
Mary has provided top quality and loving care for both my dog and cat. Her many years of experience she has in the pet care industry comes through in the care she gives. She’s always stepped in to help with any last minute situation I’ve found myself in who’s is invaluable!
Linda and her staff are the BEST! Dasher and I discovered this hidden gem in the woods last month and we are customers for life. They sent photo updates throughout my vacation so I could relax knowing he was in excellent hands. He gets so excited when we turn onto the street and he comes home tired and happy. Thank you for the exceptional care! Dasher can't wait for his next visit!
We are so happy we found Linda! She loves our Frenchie, Bode , as much as we do. Linda is great with communications and sends pictures so I know my dog is having a blast! Bode comes home a very tired pup! I would HIGHLY recommend Carlisle Canines to anyone in the area.
The dogs love it at Carlisle Canines! They come exhausted after a fun day of playing outside with the owner Linda and all the other dogs. Plus she makes sure that the dogs she accepts are not aggressive and that they are good with other dogs. That made me feel very comfortable with the safety of all the dogs. Highly recommend!
I always felt comfortable leaving my 2 dogs with Linda while I went away. They have a big yard to play in and are never in crates. They roam the house as if they were home with me. They love other dogs and are always happy! Highly recommended
Linda , is amazing, she treats your dog as if it was her own. My dog was so happy and loved all the excersize and socialization she got. She stayed a week and loved it so much I am going to sign her up for the day program. It truly is the best boarding experience I have ever had!
Honestly my sweet girl loves her play dates and I am just so happy I found a loving and safe place for her to be while I am working.
Linda has been great with our 8 month old pup, Ace! He loves being at her house and we have peace of mind knowing that he is well cared for when we are away. She spends a lot of time with the dogs in her care, so it's like a home away from home for him!
I can't say enough nice things about Camp Countryside. I have a 5 year old Corgi, Sadie, who has been a "camper" since she was 1. I love that she comes home exhausted from a full day of play. The staff has changed a bit over the years but the management of the camp remains consistently attentive to safety, health and fun. Large and small dogs have their own separate areas and the dogs are assessed for personality to make sure all dogs have safe fun. Cait C. - the current manager - takes pet care very seriously, hires and manages a great staff, and is extremely accessible for any questions or concerns. I can't imagine not having CC as an option for Sadie.
Love Camp Countryside! I recently started bringing my two huskies here and they come home happy and exhausted. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable which gives me peace of mind when I leave them for the day. I would definitely recommend Camp Countryside!!!
I go here for both the vet and boarding and they’re always great. I’ve both had a dog put down and brought a puppy for their first visit and they’re extremely professional and always so loving.
This is a very professionally run dog day care facility with options for both half day and full day care. My dog loves to come here.
Our dogs are so happy on Daycare days. Great staff, very attentive.
The employees here are incredibly friendly, they take great care of and clearly love the dogs.
Hi Kenneth! Thank you so much for the stars. We are thrilled we get to have such wonderful clients like you!
We used Furry Friends to watch our cat this past week and we were super happy with them! Our cat was well taken care of and super happy when we got home. We will absolutely use them again!
We used Furry Friends 4 days a week for over a year and we were more than pleased with the service every single day. Our puppy is very high energy and Sam did an excellent job of tiring her out daily. We signed up for the puppy excursions 4 days a week and it was the best choice we ever made. Sam was reliable, communicative, and a clear dog lover. We recently moved and not being able to take Sam and the Furry Friends business with us was the hardest part of the move. We would HIGHLY recommend Furry Friends for your animal needs.
We've been using furry friends pet sitters for about three years now. Sam is fantastic. I always get a very timely response when I contact them and daily updates while we are away. I am always confident that our cats are well taken care of while we're gone. Food and water are always fresh and litter boxes are very clean when we return. I highly recommend them. Very professional and courteous.
We have worked with Furry Friends for many years. Sam is always kind and professional with our dog and treats her like one of his own. Over the years, he was always on time and was available for daily walks and for multiple daily visits when we were out of town. Even as our dog got older and more challenging, Sam was always patient and kind with her. I highly recommend Furry Friends Pet Sitting and Dog Walking.
I am happy to write this review about my experience with Furry Friend Pet Sitting & Dog Walking of Chelmsford, MA. Furry Friends Pet Sitting watched my kitties, Lula and Zelda, while I was away. I have always boarded my them in the past, but realized every time I picked them up from the kennel they would be miserable, sick or they looked like they didn't eat the entire time. I was nervous about someone coming to my home, but I decided to use "Furry Friends" because a few friends had great things to say about them. I came home to 2 very happy cats & now I will NEVER board them again. The cats, house and litter-box were in perfect condition. I will definitely use Furry Friends in the future and would absolutely recommend!
I hired Furry Friends to look after my dog.Couldnt be happier. My dog loves them.I have no worries about there service. Prompt and very kind.I will never use anyone else. Highly recommended. Thank you Furry Freinds.
Very professional and reliable pet sitting service. Not only cared for my dog and cat with complete kindness and a clear love for animals...but also went above and beyond when my home had a maintenance issue. Recommend highly.
Our 6 year old Boston terrier has stayed with Candace several times and it has been a wonderful experience! Candace has an entire floor of the house dedicated to the pups and a large fenced-in backyard for playtime. At drop off, Candace takes the time to ensure the dogs have appropriate introductions and feel comfortable. When we are away, I have texted to check in on our pup and Candace is quick to get back with a full update on how our little guy is doing. I would highly recommend boarding/daycare with Candace! Your dog is sure to be in great hands.
Rest assured, no worries about your pup here. Individualized care and Tails wagging without the chaos! The entire first floor is all dedicated to the care of dogs with a playroom, living room, bedroom, kitchen, and even a screened porch. The yard is completely fenced with lots of room to run and explore. Everytime I come I'm greeted with happy faces. Candace is very selective, and it amazes me that everyone gets along so well. You can tell she's experienced and individualizes each ones needs whether it be medication, specialty meals, even sleeping arrangements, and doesn't charge extra for it!! I love the homey environment and couldn't recommend a better place. Walking away I always feel relieved. Total doggie paradise!
We were visiting Boston and needed a last minute sitter for our puppy. We called on Candance and told her of our predicament. She spoke with us about our dog and gathered information to determine if it would be a good fit for him. When we arrived at her home we continued our conversation while watching our little guy be introduced to the other dogs. The manner in which she spoke and handled the introduction was so professional and calming, we had no worries that our pup would be in good hands. She has a huge fenced in backyard for the dogs to run and explore. She is present with the dogs all day and monitors their behavior. Our pup was happy and healthy. I would recommend.
When our puppy was old enough to attend daycare we did plenty of research and in person visits to facilities in the area. Village Sentry was by far the cleanest, knowledgeable and kindest of them all! We love that they have various groups based upon dog behaviors and size, and that they are monitored and cared for by all the staff members. There’s always peace of mind when dropping our pup off for daycare or boarding! The monthly activities and daily pictures are an added bonus. Highly recommend them to anybody looking for the same care they would receive in a loving home!
I think the picture speaks for itself! Winston has been going to Village Sentry for daycare for around a year now (since he was old enough!) and absolutely LOVES it. He knows when we are getting close and starts wagging his tail in the parking lot- and he's always so happy to be dropped off. I love seeing the photos and it's clear to see that the staff cares a lot about all of the dogs in their facility. They always take such great care of my boy. Personally, I love how tired he is after a day at daycare and appreciate the different enrichment activities they come up with for the dogs. It's a nice highlight to my lunch break to see their daily daycare photos and see my pup having a great time. I also have a slightly unpredictable work schedule so I really appreciate the flexibility of their packages- I don't have to plan in advance which days or times I'm going to need to drop him off, which is great when I have different in office days every week.
If you want the best in class doggie day care look no further They stand by their commitment of Trust, loyal, passionate , safe, articulate in care and credible Our two babies have been coming with the latest cutie Chloe who loves her away from home We stand committed always to Michele team lead by Laura and the amazing girls Thank you for taking such good care of Chloe We love you To the best of the best Guillemette family ❤️❤️❤️
Village Sentry Pet Care is full of the friendliest staff to both you and your dog. I send my shepherd there for boarding, who can be nervous and timid in new environments. It showed in the pictures the first 2 visits, on the third it was a complete 180. Tail wagging, ears up, making friends with other dogs and staff. It was hard to get her to leave when I picked her up (not kidding). The staff there are on top of everything, and truly care about your dog. I couldn’t recommend a better boarding/ daycare facility for your furry friend. You can’t beat the attention they get, the playtime, and someone on site 24 hours. If you need your dog watched, you can bring them here and leave without a worry, they will be well taken care of.
We highly recommend Village Sentry Pet Care. Our baby Miss AJ needed to be boarded for 12days and they did a phenomenal job. We provide medication to help with the long stay should she had need it but they took so good care of her that she didn't need any of it. Loved seeing pictures of her every day. You could see they gave her lots of play time and attention. It gave us reassurance that she was well taken care of. Super friendly staff. We couldn't have asked for a better stay for her. Very thankful for the care they gave her during her long stay there.
They take great care of my dog. Super friendly service, very clean facility, and a caring staff. Not surprised they were voted best doggy daycare in New Hampshire.
We left our two dogs Patti & Maevey together at Village Sentry Pet care for Boarding during our vacation while we were out of the country for 11 days and while we read all the amazing reviews and had heard nothing but good things about them I was still nervous because there are my actual babies and I can’t help but be nervous to leave them. Patti can be a handful and go on a hunger strike while we’re away and Maevey is just always super nervous. With all that being said, we had the best experience with boarding the two of them! We were giving updates and seeing their photos go up everyday on Facebook was so great to see. They were smiling and coming up for pets. Patti and Maev were boarded together and the team at Sentry Pet care was incredible. Thank you for taking such good care of our dogs. We will definitely be coming back.
Village Sentry Pet Care is the best! Even though we only use their services a few times per year, the staff always remember our pup and she loves staying with them. She gets plenty of time to run around play with other dogs her size and we feel great about sending for her every vacation.
This place is clean, neat, and pet friendly!! Every person Ruby and I interacted with was fantastic! We were able to see pics of our Ruby each day while we were away and she looked happy and well cared for. Thanks Mary
My 6 month old Lexi loves people, but had a lot of anxiety with other dogs. She wants to play so bad, but was very anxious. I started sending her to daycare once a week to help build her confidence and burn off some energy. So far this has been an amazing experience for her and us! The Sentry team has been great in working with her and communicating with us. Thank you Laura and team for making this such a positive experience!
Jennifer is awesome! She helped so much with our fear based aggressive fur baby and gave us lots of insight on our dog’s body language and how to control certain situations. Jennifer is a professional who knows what she is doing and also a joy to be around. I’m sure you will be very happy with the training she offers. My fur baby has been doing great since working with her. I highly recommend working with Jennifer!
We absolutely love Peace of Mind. My husband and I moved to the area recently and had to part with our long time cat sitter, but we are so glad we found Jennifer and Linda. They have made going away and leaving our cat Holly so relaxing knowing that she is in such good hands. Linda sends an update with tons of pictures every time, and Holly looks so relaxed when we come home. We will always use them, and thank them sincerely!
I recently rescued my 6/7 year old husky, Ariel, off a euthanasia list in Texas. Prior to being in a shelter, Ariel was a stray. Ariel arrived and didn’t know her name or basic commands and resource guards and is leash reactive. I have another dog who is 11 lbs (Ariel is 75 lbs), so I knew I needed immediate professional help for everyone’s safety and happiness. My groomer highly recommended Jennifer Chubb/Peace of Mind Personalized Pet Care Solutions. Jennifer helped us with training techniques to teach Ariel her name and basic commands, and worked very hard with us on the resource guarding issue. Ariel is an older dog who clearly had to fight for food on the streets, so Jennifer’s calm, loving, and rewarding training style helped my pup thrive. When we first started training you couldnt take a step near Ariel if she had something she viewed as hers without her growling and lunging. Jennifer gave us training tools to build trust successfully. I also learned very valuable techniques to help with Ariel’s leash reactivity. This was a life saver since I lived in a condo when I rescued her and couldn’t avoid other dogs. I took my other dog to a different place for training and it wasn’t for us because it was negative reinforcement style. Jennifer’s positive reinforcement method works so well for my rescue (and my other dog loves to join in and thrives from positive reinforcement as well). I highly recommend Jennifer to everyone! She got my 6/7 year old husky to change her ways and successfully teach her new things so she can thrive in her new environment, so she can absolutely help your dog!
I reached out to Jennifer for help and support in training my anxious dog to wear a basket muzzle for vet visits. And I'm so glad I did. Jennifer is extremely supportive, listening to my concerns, and creatively troubleshooting each step of the training process. She's met my dog where he's at, using positive reinforcement methods and never forcing anything on him. It's clear Jennifer loves and cares for all of the animals she works with. And she's very skilled at what she does! My dog is still working towards being comfortable in a muzzle (which she's affectionately named his "Party Hat"), and Jennifer continues to be a source of support and guidance each step of the way.
Peace of Mind Pet Care took amazing care of our 2 cats while we were out of town recently. Our pet sitters, Jennifer and Karen, were professional, friendly, trustworthy and reliable. We met for an initial consultation to discuss our service needs and it didn’t take long for our curious kitties to get acquainted with their pet sitters. Jennifer and Karen kept us informed with email updates and photos after every visit. We loved these communications! We found it hugely reassuring to see our cats were in safe hands, well cared for and getting loads of love and attention while we were away. Everything was done with the welfare of our cats in mind and unexpected situations were taken care of with no trouble at all. We really appreciated that Peace of Mind also took care of tasks around the house in our absence too, opening and closing blinds and taking out the trash. Peace of Mind Pet Care lives up to its name in every sense. We were highly impressed with the pet sitting service they provided, the level of detail, care and attention surpassed our expectations. We truly are satisfied customers and plan to use the pet sitting service again.
I have 4 cats, 1 that needed meds and special food, 2 chinchillas, and 2 mice, all different care needs, and didn’t know who to ask to care for them for our vacation. Jennifer, at Peace of Mind Pet Care did such an amazing job, way way way better than just ask a neighbor, I feel like someone was really taking care of them she sent me photos, and updates everyday and when little unexpected situations can up she took care of them and I was thankful she was there. She keep things clean and spent time with them too, you can really tell she loves animals. Peace of Mind is a perfect name for this pet service because that’s how I felt during my vacation.
I met Jennifer through a FB marketplace transaction. I was buying a used crate for my new puppy. After she gave me some great advice about potty training, she mentioned that she is a trainer! So I had her come to the house to help with some training assistance. She was super helpful is training us! And the really interesting thing is that Boomer immediately understood that Jen was the pack leader. I then reached out for help with a harness for walking, as I was having lots of trouble with pulling. Jen's suggestion was spot on and we solved another training issue. I can't say enough good things about Jen's training skills. I'm so glad I know where to go when things come up.
Great experiencePeace of mind is a fantastic pet sitting company. Extremely reliable and always on time during our window of service. We have daily visits with Desiree for 2 of our dogs. Recently one of our dogs got very sick during the day, I noticed on our puppy cam that she was drooling excessively and shaking. Desiree arrived to our house soon after to find out Fiona had vomited and had diarrhea all over her pen. She immediately got on the phone with me to make a plan and offered to either stay with Fiona until I arrived home, or take her over to the emergency vet (almost 30 min away!) I made the decision to meet her at the emergency vet, she was so kind to sit with Fiona and give details to the vet while I rushed over. It is truly a Peace of mind to have a pet sitter that loves and cares for my fur babies like they are her own. I cannot recommend peace of mind enough. She also has won over my sometimes grumpy chihuahua in record time. We have had the greatest experience with Peace of Mind.
Jennifer and her team were a dream. Our cat was so so spoiled at our home and our dog LOVED his stay at camp! Cant recommend them enough. Super easy to book and we kept in touch with constant communication/pictures. We were so relaxed on vacation, and our pets were so happy with their sitters!!! We will definitely be using their services again and again.
I use Peace of Mind Pet Care Solutions for twice daily puppy visits of my 5 month old Golden Retriever, Thor. We also had two private training sessions with the owner, Jennifer Chubb, who was just wonderful. I am very happy with the service they provide. All the dog care givers give Thor the attention and affection he needs. They all love him and care for him as if he were their own pet. As for training, she taught us how to use positive reinforcement to train our puppy to come when he is called, to drop whatever it is in his mouth that he shouldn't be ingesting, and to walk properly on a loose leash. Edit: It's been almost two years since I've started entrusting my dear Thor with Jennifer and her awesome staff. Thor has had several walkers over the last two years but they have all been great. It takes a village to raise a well adjusted, well behaved dog. I owe a lot to Jennifer and her team for this.
We love Alison and the crew at Country Canine! Our 2-year old Cattle Dog mix has been going there regularly for over a year and has the best time! The team is devoted, attentive, educated on dog behavior, and will love the heck out of your dog. Our dog would leave us for James tomorrow. We've also worked 1-on-1 with Alison and her training sessions have been transformational. We were first-time owners and feeling a bit lost. Alison's guidance made us more confident and connected with our dog. We highly recommend Alison and Country Canine!
My dog attended doggy daycare twice a week for 4 years. She loved country canine’s and we loved working with the staff. Fantastic experience, competitively priced and they even offer grooming in the summer.
I would have liked to give more stars but I absolutely can’t! And honestly, I’d give zero if I could. As a matter of fact, I have concerns for the other animals at this facility that attend daycare. Until recently, my dogs attended the daycare regularly before abruptly being dismissed with no prior information about his supposed “aggressive” instances. On two different occasions I received no phone call or update on either instances until 5 days after the original occurrence. Imagine my surprise as after each pick up or during drop offs I was told nothing more than “he loves it here or he’s great” to find out that he had been ‘aggressive’ towards another dog and he was no longer welcome back. Additionally, I was informed that he was tackled, sprayed with some sort of solution to calm him and kept in a crate for who knows how long. The head person, Allison, had minimal details about the events and when questioned her response was she can’t speak to that because she wasn’t the one present at the time. I don’t agree with how any part of this situation was handled, especially using brute force with a dog and using a crate as punishment when a dogs crate is a den and should be a safe haven. Had I known these types of things were taking place I would have never allowed my dog to partake in this inhumane facility. This company should be ashamed of themselves and may want to rethink the number of dogs they allow at the facility so that they get the correct attention they deserve or at the very least have someone who can make a phone call in a timely manner. I leave you with this, buyer beware!
We love country canine! Both of our dogs have been going here for the past two years and love it! They both go in happily and leave tired and relaxed after!
My dog Myla has been going here for about two months now. Can’t say enough good things! She comes home absolutely exhausted and I always get a report from the owner or staff about how her day went. As an overprotective dog mom who used to manage a different dog daycare facility, it is hard for me to fully trust staff and leave my baby somewhere, but with Alison and her staff, I know she is SO well taken care of and that they PAY ATTENTION! Alison is so knowledgeable and attentive and actually cares about the dog/staff ratio, so I know the environment is safe and controllable. I love that the are outside most of the time just able to be dogs! Myla is excited to make more friends here!! :)
Our dog Gunner has been at Country Canine for only 2 months, but I can't say enough great things! He has some anxiety issues, and the staff has always been quick to respond to any phone calls or emails I have sent. The facility itself is very simple, but I personally like that because dogs just don't want to have fun, they don't need a state of the art facility. The staff are obviously all huge dog lovers and really care about the work that they do! I knew we had made the right choice when three different individuals told us that they had been bringing their dogs for 10, 13, and 15 years respectively!
Alison is the best! We have a 5 month old lagotto, and was overwhelmed with his energy! Once we started training with Alison, we could channel all that energy to many constructive training sessions! Once started training with Alison, we were amazed how his behaviour has taken a 180 degree change in direction. We can now work sitting on the couch with him just being calm. His recall is so much better and nipping has come down drastically. Alison is supportive and very kind to our needs. Her suggestions had tremendously helped us modify puppy behavior. Our lagotti has been a happy puppy! Alison is the best out there and you CANNOT go wrong with her!
Annie Mae is my very young high energy "hound mix" rescue from Tennessee. I've never had her DNA tested, but I'm confident she's got a bit of Staffordshire Terrier in her genes ( or she's doing a good job at faking it ). I've got her on a regular 2-day per week schedule with Country Canine for nearly a year now and I couldn't be happier with the results. When I drop her off, she's jump-out-of-her-skin excited about it. And when I pick her up, she's all set for a solid nap. I'm also impressed with how they manage required vaccines, etc. for all dogs. So grateful/happy!
Country Canine takes excellent care of my insanely hyper dog, and have been doing so for over 5 years now. The price is very affordable (it's long gone up $4 in 5 years, at or below inflation) despite the fact that there are sometimes waitlists on certain days. It's a place where you will need to create a regular schedule and can't drop in last minute - they'll likely be at capacity. The people who work there are great & it's very clear that they care about all of the dogs. And my dog loves it. She gets excited when I tell her we're going, and despite being a 6 year old hyperactive spaniel, she always comes home and is content to just chill out or fall asleep at the end of the day.
I have been nothing but happy with CC dog care! The staff is wonderful, caring and knowledgeable, and my dog loves going there! He was an abused dog when I got him, but with the help of this team of professionals, he has learned to trust people and dogs. I highly recommend Country Canine!
We love Best Friends Tyngsborough! Our 2 year old Boxer has been going there for day camp and boarding since May and we are so happy with our experience. She loves the water park and playing with her friends. The staff are friendly and caring. The prices are very reasonable. Can’t recommend this place enough!
My baby's home away from home! The staff at Best Friends Pet Hotel are always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely care about their furry guests. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and fun! My dog always returns happy and relaxed after her stays. I've recommended Best Friends to several friends, and they've all had the same wonderful experience with their own pups. It's great to have a trusted and reliable place to care for our fur babies. Highly recommend!
My dog, Milo, loved his stay at Best Friends this past week! He is typically very “stranger danger” with new people, but when I picked him up, he was playing with many employees, receiving kisses and pets. I also learned he played with other dogs which is very unlike him! We will definitely be going back in the future. Thank you!!
My dog has been well cared for when we need to board him. The staff is very gentle with him. Variety of services like daily ice cream treats, grooming, etc are great.
We love bringing our dog to Best Friends for boarding and grooming. He's very reactive to other dogs, and they offer a wonderful individual play service. He always comes back happy and healthy, even on longer stays. They do a great job with after play baths, so he always comes back smelling great.
This place is great! Grooming is awesome, play/day visits are great and my cocker spaniel enjoyed multiple overnights as well. Staff are super nice too! Place is well kept. Highly recommend
We absolutely love the facility in Tyngsboro MA. THE employees here are the kindest most caring crew we have ever met! They treat our girls as if they were their own. Our dogs come home happy and tired from a wonderful day of fun!!!
Phoebe the pug absolutely loves Mandi and the crew at Best Friends in Tyngsboro. I only need to ask if she wants to go see her friends and she loses it, excitedly waiting by the door to the garage. My wife and I know she’s extremely well taken care of when we go away or we send her to daycare. Pricing is super fair and the extras they offer are done perfectly. We’re lucky to have them so close to home.
Our dog Luna is always happy to come to this place. Staff are very friendly and caring. Luna had to stay for 4 weeks while I was traveling and I felt comfortable boarding Luna. She was well taken care of.
Our dog Hudson has been going here since he was 8 weeks old. He is now 4. He loves playing with all his doggie friends and human friends. They take good care of him
