The staff at Pooch Hotel are so kind and caring! Duffy is greeted by name and they know her so well. When we lost our golden retriever last March, they were so sympathetic. I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else!

First time boarding at Pooch Hotel. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The best part was being able to watch my dogs play through the pup camera while I was away.

We've been boarding here for over 12 years, and it's been an incredibly positive experience. A few hiccups here and there, but overall, the staff and care have been exceptional.

For a number of reasons, I have had to look at the competitors of Pooch Hotel, and the differentiators, whilst unique and well-documented, bear repetition and emphasis…. - Pricing (hands-down less than competitors which is simply miraculous) - 24/7 availability - White-glove customer service (updates, webcams et al) - Health and safety of pups The much-bandied family theme needs to be highlighted again - Pepper (soul only now alas!) and Morti (body and soul) owe debts of gratitude which cannot be gainsaid and I can but try to verbalize my emotions… The list of names changes a bit every year, but Pooch Hotel never does. Stephanie has set the bar impossibly high and is an inspiration for her team and all who know her. Praising her is like gilding the lily. There is nary a problem she cannot find a solution for - and effortlessly to boot. She is as cool as a hound's nose and as smooth as the back of a spoon. Her brain is like a steel trap but tempered by kindness and generosity. Her dream team has lost a few members but is still a dream…. - Rose and Daniela - unsung and unheralded, but the place would fall apart without them - a HUGE shout-out to the overnight team; - Julie - bather, pawcierge, emotional barometer, champion invoicer - makes every Pooch visit memorable; - Louie - Stephanie levels are virtually unattainable but he comes close! A unique blend of focus, thoughtfulness and attention - a Resort Manager who has grown from strength to strength every year and who I can turn to when Steph is not around; - Lupe Yareli Emmanuel - the trio of supervisors whose hard work and attention to detail are remarkable and unfailing; - Merri Nadia Shaniyia - Stephanie pays extra attention to the quality of her front desk because they are the face of the facility and so often the difference between a happy client and a disgruntled one; - Max - groomer extraordinaire who imbues Pooch Hotel with his unique personality and consummate tonsorial skills; - Xavier Ruben Jasmin Sophia Nestor - team members who make every play session extraordinary and keep the place humming. People find it strange that a canine care facility can evoke so much emotion. In the words of Nietzsche, “And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.” One rests one’s case!

Ollie (my Labrador retriever) and I have been huge fans of Pooch Hotel Norwalk for a couple of years and we've never been disappointed with the awesome service we receive from the exceptional staff. We're always met with a warm greeting regardless of the time...and I do tend to pick up Ollie when it's quite late in the day! I can honestly say, I'd be lost without Pooch Hotel Norwalk!

Dogtopia is a great facility to bring your pet. They are reliable, caring and attentive to each dog’s needs. I love that Loki feels comfortable with the staff. It is important to us that Loki gets the best care and gets the most out of his experience each day. We love the weekly events for the dogs that allow them to enjoy their break outside or with a yummy snack. We are very happy with the experience we have had at Dogtopia Norwalk!

We had the worse experience with this establishment and would encourage people to read this review carefully. While we were away in Europe, and our two dogs stayed here for a week. We got a call from Alexis, the assistant manager mid-week, telling us that a dog attacked ours--there was a small cut under his ear and she was cleaning the wound and there was nothing to worry about. We were led to believe that there was one bite, but in fact there are THREE gash marks (two on his neck), and one is an inch wide and deep. Our dog should have been taken to our vet—these kids who run the place are not vets. When we picked them up they were filthy and the wounds were equally as dirty. Now our dog is on antibiotics and is under our vet's care. We had asked to speak with the manager (whom we met a month prior--a guy who claimed he lived across the street when we first met him—told us he would be available at any time), and we have never gotten a courtesy call in four days. Where are these people? When they returned our beds, etc., we’re confused why there were only two bags of food returned for one dog only when we specifically labeled by date--AM and PM food for each dog. The food was separated and specifically labeled because there were medications in the food bags—the medication was to be taken as per the day--and the bags that they returned were out of date and already passed. Did the right dog take the right medication on the right day? When we came to pick the dogs up, we’re also concerned that the person at the front desk looked like they were not old enough to work. More importantly, they seemed clueless as to who we were and didn’t seem to expect us. We confirmed with Alexis that we were coming on Saturday before 10am. And to further top this bad experience off, they charged us for Saturday 8/3, when we were told by Alexis that if we picked the dogs up before 10am we would NOT be charged (which we were). They also claimed that we canceled the grooming appointment for 1230pm, but when we confirmed we were picking them up before 10, and Alexis confirmed they would be groomed, it is outrageous that a) the dogs were filthy, and b) the wounds were not treated properly. Although the people seem nice at this place, they are definitely not trained and if you care about your dogs, perhaps give them a shot at daycare but do not leave them here overnight.

I couldn’t be happier with the amount of care and attention my dog gets at Dogtopia. It is clean and new with a separate area for smaller dogs. The staff is phenomenal and the special events and activities are great for the dogs and to make dog parents happy

We have been taking our dog here for a couple of years. He loves it and so do we. Everyone is helpful, friendly, and loves dogs! We love being able to check-in on our dog with their cameras. I highly recommend this place to all our friends and family.

Everyone here at the Norwalk location is amazing. Very communicative and accommodating with our Ivy Lee. Jonathan the manager especially is very good! Always there to help and super organized every time I walk in to pick or drop off our pup! Always smells clean and not like animals! Def recommend this location for any care for your dogs.

Great place for daycare! Events every month for the dogs and video camera you can drop in and watch your furry friend. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic! We were over the moon that they were open on a holiday—Easter—and that I could drop my dog off for a couple of hours instead of leaving him home for the day, which would have made me feel horrible. When we return to Connecticut for the holidays, we will definitely use your team's services again, and we will also try the Long Island locations!

Love this place. We have been sending our bulldog for over a year and a half for once a week daycare. It gives her some playtime and she’s exhausted when she returns! I arrange random baths as needed, and she gas boarded here several times. A great vibe abs a very caring staff! Plus I get to watch her on the gym camera!

By far the best place for your dog! The staff is attentive and professional. Definitely the happiest place on earth for your pet! I can't recommend them enough. I wish they were in every city that we visit.

Lee has been taking care of our 3.5 year old Yellow Lab since he was 2 months old. She always keeps us updated on how he's doing on his daily walks and she has even matched him up with a few other dogs for play dates to keep him active while we are at work. Lee is very reliable, rain or shine she is there for our dog and on several occasions she has been able to stop by on short notice when we were held up at work. We highly recommend her.

Lee has been a wonderful dog sitter/dog walker for my family for 3 years and has taken great care of our dog, us, and our house the entire time. She is reliable, trustworthy and honest. Many times, she has come into the house, not knowing I was at home, and I've heard her calling out to my dog, "Oh, my love, how are you?" She is so sweet yet firm when she needs to be with my lab. I would recommend her without reservation to my friends.

I have been using Lee’s dog walking services for our mini golden doodle since we moved to Southport two years ago. She is incredibly reliable, professional, and most importantly, amazing with our dog. Lee has gone above and beyond for our dog, even picking him up in the middle of a bad storm when we weren’t home to make sure he wasn’t alone. She is a wonderful person and I have no hesitation recommending her to everyone I know.

Lee is the best!! Very professional. Licensed and insured, which is a huge advantage over most in the area. She’s great with keeping in touch: texting photos, and letting me know how my pups are doing in her care. She’s always greeted enthusiastically by my dogs. They love her! I know all 3 are in very good hands when Lee is with them. It has allowed me to go on vacations with a peace of mind I haven’t had in a very long time. The animals are her number one priority. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Lee is wonderful. She is responsible, thorough, reliable and my puppies love her. I've used her for two overnight visits, in addition to multiple daytime potty and play visits. I feel completely comfortable knowing our dogs - and our home - are in good hands. She recently went above and beyond in trying to resolve an issue with our garage door opening on it's own, as she wanted to make sure the house was secure while we were away. I really appreciated her contact and follow up throughout. Lee takes in mail and packages, as well as recyling/trash bins. She's also a great puppy photographer and has sent me a few awesome pics from her visits. I highly recommend Lee and isitistay!

We were very fortunate to come across Lee’s dog services. She has been such a life saver to us being new residents of the Fairfield area our little pug Leila has needed a daily routine. She is also very creative and thoughtful with the beautiful cards she has made for Christmas and Valentines with our darling Leila’s photo. An excellent photographer for dogs! Lee has made our move to Fairfield a much more comforting knowing that we can rely on her to walk of our precious fur Baby ~ Leila.

Lee has been an amazing asset to our family. She has come on short notice when our dog has needed a walk, and has always arrived on time for our scheduled dog walks. She has gone above and beyond and has even taken our dog to the vet when we were not able to. Thank you Lee for your hard work!

Lee has become such a valuable asset to our lives. We feel so comfortable leaving home because we know she is on top of it all. She checks the house, she takes care of our horse and chickens, she waters all our plants, she stays in touch, etc., etc. We feel so grateful she has become such an important part of our comfort. If we could, we would give her a 5++.

I was lucky to find Lee just before my trip away over the weekend. I needed someone to look after my cat and fish while I was away. Lee was very professional, friendly, and showed above care in making sure my cat and fish were looked after. She even came in when my flight had been delayed to make sure my pets were ok. Lee was amazing!!

I recently hired Carissa to watch my dog Jack and cat, Roxy for five days while I went on vacation. This was the first time I was away from my pets for an extended period of time so it was really important to me that everything would go smoothly. I was so impressed by how Carissa took care of them. Each day I was away I would receive updates from her including photos and videos of the pets out on hikes, playing at the park with other dogs, etc. Carissa is extremely professional and caring. You can see how much she loves the animals in her care. I highly recommend Carissa to anyone in need of dog care.

Carissa is a great doggy daycare provider in Stamford! She took great care of my pup who has a good amount of separation anxiety. My dog was happy and relaxed when I picked her up and got along great with the other dog Carissa had with her! I would definitely book with Carissa again.

Carissa took care of our two dogs when we were moving, and they couldn’t be in the new house yet. They can be a handful, but she did a great job with them and had helpful tips about walking them (they have always been terrible on leashes). She is very knowledgeable and caring! They came back as happy as ever, and we were very grateful for her attentive care. She also kept me updated with pictures!

Carissa was an amazing caregiver for our pup! She was super timely and responsive to all messages, and treated our baby like she was her own. She even baked Jackson some fresh muffins and brought her to an amazing dog park. We will definitely use her again when we are back in Stamford.

My dog Zoe had a great stay with Carissa! She seemed very happy and well cared-for. And I enjoyed working with Carissa. She was quick to respond to messages, sent good updates during Zoe's stay, and attentive to my care instructions. I would gladly book her again and recommend her to anyone! Not to mention she’s great with clicker training for puppies.

Carissa is an amazing pup sitter and my dog, Penny, loves visiting her! She always provides excellent care at reasonable pricing and gives extra TLC with the dogs during their visits. It’s always so fun to see the pictures of the fun walks and playtime the dogs have while at Pawfect Companions! Carissa is also very prompt with answering any questions to make you feel at ease.

You know you have found the perfect sitter and trainer for your fur baby when your dog does not even care when you leave, because he is so happy to play with Carissa and her other furry friends! Moreover, she is not only a loving pet sitter, where the dogs are physically, mentally and emotionally enriched, but she is a terrific trainer! When my dog (who is so picky, even with treats) was not 'normal' treat motivated, she made homemade sardine balls, not only tasty but terrific for their fur and coat. I cannot say enough about Carissa. She is willing to meet you at your home, her house, or even run over to my work, when I was running late and did not have time to drop him off..Not to mention she is so professional, thinks of everything, such a dog seat belt for her car. My dog is very happy to have found his "PAWFECT COMPANION" with Carissa!

Carissa is amazing! She looks after my 2 dogs beautifully. She’s so reliable which makes going away so easy, I know they are safe in her hands. She sends daily photos and responds quickly. I wouldn’t go to anyone else to take care of my babies.

Carissa treated our dog Stanley like her own when she watched him for a weekend. We could tell that he was having the best time with the other dogs during daycare and we received picture updates through his stay. It was a relief knowing that Stanley was well taken care of while we were gone. We would definitely recommend Pawfect Companion if you’re looking for daycare or a loving home to board your dog while you’re away.

Carissa is awesome. I took my dog Oreo for daycare a couple days a week and it was great Oreo was well taken care of, he went on numerous walk through the day and had a blast. Carissa also gave me advice on behavioral issues with Oreo. I had a great experience with Carissa

Our dog, Bode, has been going to Camp Bow Wow for over 5 years for both daycare and boarding. The staff is caring and professional and my dog loves going. With all the pets they have come in and out they know the owners and names of each dog and always make them feel special. I have such a piece of mind leaving him there overnight knowing he feels safe and comfortable.

My big boy (127 lbs!) Quincy has been a camper for more than 3 years, having started as a 6 month old puppy. Quincy LOVES Camp bow wow! He’s stayed overnight when I’ve traveled. Wonderful, caring staff, great hours for busy pet parents and lots of fun for pups!

Harold had the best time at Camp! The staff was super thorough and sweet with my bb and it was so nice to check in on the cameras to see him wagging his tails with some new friends. They’ve always been taking care of my Akita Kuma for the last 2 1/2 years since I got him. I know that he is in safe hands when I drop him off. They also have great services to add to your pet needs five stars.

Terrific place! Well-run, convenient drop-off & pick-up hours, clean, & fairly priced. They offer everything from day care (drop in, no appt needed), boarding, birthday parties, to grooming & more. My frenchie Gizmo absolutely LOVES it! He’s been going there for nearly a year, since he was a puppy. All I have to do is say, “Bow Wow today!” & he gets wicked excited, runs to the door, jumps in the car & yanks me out when we arrive. 😆 He gets lots of exercise, socialization & playtime with friends, & TLC from excellent, caring counselors — from Michelle, Justin, Ryan, Jonathan, to the whole team. Gizmo is always happy & content at pick up & sleeps like a baby that night. 🐾♥️🦴

I can’t say enough good things about camp bow wow Stamford. The staff are outstanding, and genuinely enjoy taking care of animals. My puppy always comes home exhausted from running around all day, and when we check the cameras, the staff is always giving all the dogs attention. I highly recommend using them!

We have been bringing our Siberian Husky, Wasabi to Camp Bow Wow Stamford for about 8 years. He day boards a few times a week and when we go on vacation. This is the only place I’d leave my pet. I tried a few other places but Camp Bow Wow Stamford was the best by far. The staff are wonderful, attentive and caring. They love him as much as we do and it shows in how happy he is when he arrives. Many of the staff have been there since Wasabi started which is a true testament to a great place for people and pets Big thank you to Michelle, Justin and all the amazing team at Camp Bow Wow!

I am so glad that I found Destiny! One of my dogs is very anxious and she handles her so well. She sends me pictures and updates about the dogs every day. She also is super responsive and flexible with drop off and pick up times for me which I appreciate so much. I highly recommend her to anyone in the area, and have already recommended her to my friends!

Destiny has been wonderful and our Trixie loves going to visit! She's got a great set up in the back yard and will share posts or pics of your puppers throughout his or her stay. We've used her for boarding services a few times in the past year and she's always been accommodating. Destiny is wonderful to work with and I would recommend her to anyone in the area!

I was so nervous to put my puppy in daycare, and I wasn't sure how I could trust someone else with her. But once we met Destiny, I knew she would take such good care of my baby! Destiny is so professional, reliable, trustworthy, extremely responsive and communicative, and most importantly she loves my puppy so much. Mia lights up when she sees Destiny, and it makes me so happy! I work a very demanding schedule, so I don't get to socialize my girl, and I can't really get her outside to play, so the days that Mia is at Destiny's Daycare are perfect! She has so much fun playing with all her friends, gets all her energy out, and comes home happy and exhausted! I 1,000% recommend Destiny's Dog Daycare/Boarding! Wouldn't trust anyone else. 🙂

Destiny is so phenomenal with our two dogs! They love going to see her and they both freak out with excitement whenever we pull on her street. She’s also always available even on short notice, and very communicative on how the pups are doing, even sending us pictures regularly. I am so grateful I found Destiny. Madison LOVES going there, whether for the day or overnight. Destiny provides plenty of fun and exercise. When I pick Maddie up, she sleeps the entire way home and most of the following day! As they say, “a tired dog is a happy dog” I love my dog and we spend most of our time together.
