I was fortunate to have Hillary return for a second sit. She took excellent care of both my cat and my home. She got on well with my neighbors and even allowed my friend to come visit Suley while she was there. I especially appreciate how flexible and accommodating she was regarding arrangements for a sitter who would be taking over for the second part of my very long absence. All in all, Hillary is a gem!

There are not enough words in the English language to express my deepest gratitude to Teresa and all the amazing love and care she showed my sweet cat Milo. From the moment she met Milo, I knew there was going to be a very special bond. He instantly relaxed when he first met and already looked so happy and at peace with her. The bond between the two of them only seemed to get stronger and stronger with every day that I was away. This two-week trip was so important for me as it was the first real "vacation" I had taken in a few years. I was in desperate need of a mental and physical break and knew that in order to have a true "time off', I needed to feel completely at peace with Milo being well-taken care of. Well my prayers were answered as Teresa was the "cat whisperer" I was hoping for. I could not have asked for a better, more compassionate, self-reliant, and intuitive sitter ! Teresa was also so diligent in sending me her daily picture and video updates of my cat. With every picture and video I saw, I knew that Milo was so happy being with her and I never worried for one minute while I was away. What a gift ! Teresa was also a serious life-saver for me as literally an hour before I was leaving for my trip, I found out my cat's tracker app was not working and after a few emails and phone calls, we found out the tracker's server was down. Teresa took the initiative to follow up with getting the tracker to work again which was a HUGE stress-relief for me . She is not only wonderfully savvy with animals but also with technology as well ! I feel so fortunate to have Teresa in my life now, not only as an amazing sitter for Milo but also as a wonderful friend for life! Thank you, Teresa for everything.... Young was the perfect house sitter for us. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is animal person and is detailed oriented and will take great care of your house and pets. She exudes a peaceful and grounded energy. She was comfortable with each our pets from the high energy dog to the shy skittish cat. She played with the dog in the yard every day and took him on walks. And she was also very attentive to our cats and figured out how to maintain the equilibrium in the relationship between the cats and dog. She is an excellent communicator; she asked questions when our directions weren't clear and kept us updated on the pets. She is also an amazing photographer. She sent us pics of our pets every day that totally captured each of their personalities.

Quinn was an amazing sitter for my cat Moon! She regularly checked in with updates on moon while we were away on a two week vacation, and seemed to give her plenty of attention, play with her, etc. Communication was easy and she left our apartment spotless after departing. Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Caroline is an amazing sitter ! We were far away, had never left our cat for such a long period of time and we felt really confident with her. She took great care of our cat Honey as well as she did for the house, pool and garden. She was even able to handle the end of the refection of the bathroom which was a last minute surprise… We felt Caroline was reliable and self sufficient. We had a great communication with her during our stay abroad. We even found many nice intentions when we came back from our vacations such as fresh fruits and bakeries for a nice and welcomed breakfast after a night in a plane ! We definitely recommend Caroline for your sittings and we will obviously call her back !

Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.

Karen was an extraordinary house and pet sitter who I hope to invite back again soon. You would be extremely fortunate to have her take care of your pets and home. From the very beginning she radiated calmness, knowledge, caring and curiosity. We had a great initial conversation where Karen answered questions I didn't even know I should be asking, and asked excellent questions so she could be prepared and understand the special needs for both my cat and home. She flew into my city the day before I was leaving and stayed at a nearby hostel so that we could meet in person and do a walk through of my home. They say pets have an intuitive nature about people, and I knew Karen would be a winner when my normally very shy/nervous cat came right up and let her pet him. Karen sent wonderful pictures and updates while I was gone and asked questions when she wasn't sure about something. When I returned home everything was spotless and my cat was content. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better house sitter experience. Thank you Karen!

Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. She gave thoughtful updates on my cat and I could tell she really enjoyed her, so that means the world to me! She left the place immaculate and we will certainly have Tonya back!

Visited on a very wet day looking for a new harness for our lurcher. Our poor dog was sodden, they lent us a towel to dry him off. Managed to find a harness and a quality coat that fitted him (these items are hard to find as very few shops stock items that fit a lurcher). Great selection of doggie items. Superb friendly and helpful staff, well worth a visit.

Always used this place for my dog food, always use there own make small chicken and rice dry food and as far as i know daisy is fit and healthy, and great price shes 7 now sooo yes full marks for Wendy the owner getting it just right

Saw Emma as was having trouble with my sprocker Rosie pulling and barking at other dogs occasionally when on lead. I felt my anxiety was making her worse. Ema was fantastic and identified straight away, a solution. Emma was reassuring and encouraging. She is fantastic at what she does and I would highly recommend. I am not more confident and can walk Rosie on the lead with no pulling, at heel. I am also more relaxed so she doesn’t pick up on my tension and then react. Thank you so so much.
Emma visited us for a one to one session with our 4 month old pup very recently. Emma was fantastic with both us and our puppy and assisted us with some great foundation training to build upon. I am looking to join Emma's larger training classes and will be booking another one to one session in the near future. Great communication and easy to follow guidance. Thanks Emma :)
Emma has been helping us train our unruly teenage Chihuahua. She is absolutely great with small dogs and very experienced with chi's . Great improvement after one session of directed training with her insights proving invaluable. Her observations helped greatly to train us to train our pup. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone. She has since helped us introduce another puppy to our spicy Chi.
Wonderful dog and rabbit sitter. For the 2nd year running, our dog had several amazing weeks with Emma. I never worry about him at all and he loves socialising and all his walks. Our rabbits were very well looked after as well. Thanks again Emma. Highly recommend
We had Emma visit the house to do a 121 session with our 8 week old cocker pup, Estrella. The info and advice she has given us has been so useful and has really helped Estrella settle in. Emma was very knowledgeable and patient, and we would highly recommend her. So much so that we have booked Estrella on to her 6 week puppy classes.
Review and Recommendation - Puppy Training Emma has been our cat sitter for more years than I can remember. She always gives amazing service, our three cats love her, especially our grumpy old outdoor boy. So there was no hesitation when we finally took the plunge and got a golden retriever puppy. Emma was one of the first people I told as I knew I wanted her expert help to train Charlie to be a very good dog. She was more than happy to help us in any way so we booked in some one to one sessions. Our first lesson was all about Charlie and our grandson (age 4). The puppy tended to jump at my grandson and he was quite nervous about it. Emma explained to my grandson what to do and within two minutes he had the pup sitting at his feet on command waiting for a treat! It was amazing to see, and my grandson's confidence is growing every time they are together. That first hurdle over we then concentrated on more commands, pup has now learned near Recall, Sit, Down, Paw, and best of all Wait. We are working hard on Drop. It's amazing how much the one to one sessions have helped all of us, and it's only been three sessions! Emma's calm way of teaching is great, and she is always very patient with us (sometimes it takes longer for the humans to get it than the dog - he's a smart cookie!) We're looking forward to starting puppy school and socialisation next week! Thanks again, Emma, you have been amazing!
I have previously given Emma a 5 star rating and I will be doing the same today. Emma has continued to walk and board our dog. She is friendly, reliable, great value and our dog adores her! Emma treats all the animals like they are her own.We have had to change around some days a couple of times and Emma has been very accommodating. I would highly recommend Emma to anyone.
We have left our dog with Emma at ES Petcare for holidays for a couple of years now. Emma is lovely and provides an excellent service. She responds quickly to enquires, has really helped us out at short notice and is always professional and timely. There is no doubt Emma really cares for the pets she looks after. My dog comes back happy and healthy and gets very excited whenever Emma comes to the door. Emma takes a detailed history of the pet's preferences, diet and exercise regime and gives detailed feedback. Emma keeps in touch posting comments and photos and which are always reassuring. I have no hesitation in recommending ES Pet Care.
I would highly recommend ES Pet care for boarding dogs. Emma has looked after our two Cockapoo’s during our holidays over the past seven years from when they were young pups. They are always happy to stay with her and Chester & Dylan come home in a very good condition. Emma always provides a very professional service allowing us to relax on our holidays knowing Chester & Dylan are being well looked after.
I have been taking our puppy Hudson to Emma’s 3 group training classes (beginners, intermediate & advance). Over the 18 weeks we have both learned so much and Hudson walks nicely on the lead and we have leant some coping techniques when he decides to have his tantrums! It’s been a great experience and would highly recommend Emma and her classes.

Iain has been looking after our dog since he was a puppy both for day care when we work or for longer periods when we are on holiday. Red loves going to Iain's and we know he is well looked after, safe and happy. Iain has also fed our cats and hens when we have been away. He is reliable, trustworthy and will look after your animals as if they are his own. I would recommend him 100%.
Iain has taken care of our dogs many times. We used others in the past and it was such a relief to find Iain because we know we are leaving Dexter and Spangles with intelligent people who have a great understanding of animals. It is a lovely location for dogs to stay at and it's important for us to feel we have left our dear canine friends with someone we can trust. Highly recommended.
5 stars doesn’t do Jules justice. She’s simply amazing. Calm, professional and trustworthy. Jules really helped out our family when my sister was in hospital by looking after her cat. It was a really stressful time and Jules went above and beyond our expectations by stepping in at short notice, despite being so busy, and calmly taking over. I highly recommend Jules, she’s passionate about animals and is the best, you won’t regret it!
Iain has looked after my horse several times and I have complete confidence in his care and ability. He is very reliable and has had to step at very short notice at times. We have used Iain on two occasions now and have two further bookings with him. When we moved to the area I knew that we would have to start again on finding another dog walker and very impressed we have been with the service as well. The most important thing really is the dogs think the world of him. In case your in any doubt I highly recommend Iain and the service he provides.
Since 2013 Iain has walked, or on hot days pottered, with my dog on numbers of occasions, at short and long notice. He is wholly reliable. I know my dog appreciates his visits as much as I do. It is no exaggeration to say that we could not have managed without him. Thanks Iain.
Jules has looked after our cat during the Christmas holidays and I would definitely recommend her. She is very reliable and genuinely cares about your pet. She sends regular updates and pictures which made me feel more at ease. If you need someone to look after your pet you should definitely contact Jules.
Jules of Taunton did a brilliant job of looking after our two very awkward cats. She went above and beyond what would have normally been expected when having to visit our home on numerous occasions for a few days of our holiday, after one of the cats refused to come in. We would have no hesitation in leaving the cats in her care again. She texted us regularly to keep us up to date, ensuring we were at ease knowing they were in safe and caring hands. Brilliant service!!!
Iain and Kathy looked after my dog Holly for many years. She was always happy to go there and see her doggy friends and I felt she was being well looked after in a homely situation. Thoroughly recommended.
I am abnormally attached to my Guinea pigs, more so since one got old and one got sick and I have a big set up with 2 cages due to some rescues not getting along with the big piggies so I was freaking out and not sleeping at the thought of having to leave them for 2 days. Jules didn't even flinch at the strange and over the top things I asked her to do and was so loving and caring towards them that I was only mildly stressing about them when I was away and that was because of my own anxieties. She did everything I asked, sent photos and lots of updates for me and she was so chill about the millions of notes I left for her because I was in a flap before I left. My girls were relaxed when I got home because their routine never changed. I recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter for their pets. She really went over and above for me last week and I actually would feel comfortable leaving them again which is a big thing for me to say because I'm normally at home alone with them for large parts of the day. Thanks Jules for helping me to be a part of my brother's wedding day and my new godson's christening. You made that happen for me so you are a superstar!

Our miniature dachshund recently stayed with The Country Dog hotel, he does suffer from separation anxiety so we worried greatly about how he’d get on, but we needn’t have worried, they cared for our pup just like we do. When he was a bit anxious and sick, they had him checked over by their vet just to be on the safe side and kept us constantly updated, he even got to sleep in the human bed…on their heads and had loads of snuggles…he knows how to get what he wants! Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had regular updates, pictures and constant reassurance that our pup was doing great, in fact I think he wishes he could have stayed for longer! He was picked up and dropped back home in style, and even got some home baked dog biscuits with his name on. Thank you to everybody at the country dog hotel for looking after our Ralph and giving him a nice luxury holiday for 5 days and being the best at what you do, we had no doubt that he was cared for, loved and safe throughout his stay.
The Country Dog Hotel is absolutely incredible! Our cocker spaniel Archie was looked after from the moment he got picked up. Becks and Mike are so wonderful, as are all of the staff, and really make it feel like Archie is staying with family. They offer an amazing service and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough! It is all of the little touches that really show how much passion the team has - from all of the photos and videos you get sent, the spa treatments in a roll top bath, to the personalised home made biscuits he came home with! If you’re going on holiday, there is no place like it to know that your dog will be treated like part of a family!
Our labradoodle, Milo, recently had a VIP vacation at The Country Dog Hotel. I was worried about him staying as he does suffer with some anxiety from being away from us, but he had a splendid time and really enjoyed his 5* lifestyle. Nothing was too much trouble and I received lots of photos and updates from Mike to put my mind at rest. He had such a fantastic time that all he has done is sleep since! Milo will definitely be back for a stay in the future as I know his every need will be catered for and he will have so many amazing adventures. I highly recommend The Country Dog Hotel to any dog owner as it’s a home away from home experience.
Our dog Duffy had a wonderful stay here! Love seeing her smile in each photo. She enjoyed so many different fun activities there and even had a spa day! It’s good to have such a nice dog hotel and to know our beloved dog is in good hands. Can’t recommend highly enough!
Well picked our dog up last night and all he did was pine on the way home. I dont think he wanted to leave after 21 days. He looks healthier than when we dropped him off! Had regular updates while on holiday. Thank you for looking after him
After long and tedious searches to have our little girl whilst we were away we were so fortunate to find the Country Dog Hotel, Rebecca, Mike and the Team were absolutely fabulous and so professional. On our arrival we felt so happy and relaxed that Bella was staying at this amazing doggy hotel, it has the most idyllic surroundings for your loved one to be exercised and meet new friends whilst out on their daily walks. We received daily videos from the team which again gave us the reassurance that Bella was having a fabulous time and looked so happy. Our dog Bunty had a lovely stay here. She came back happy and settled into her normal routine straight away. She also had the Indulgence Spa treatment and she looked amazing. We are so lucky to have found Bark and Play and would not have anyone else look after our dog. She goes out every week for a few adventures and comes back so happy and ready to relax which is perfect when we both work full time. We also found how well behaved our dog is after her training throughout the week. We have used Bark and Play for their pet boarding services. We were sent regular updates and pictures which was comforting to see our dog settled and happy while we were on holiday. We would be very lost without Bark and Play and really appreciate their amazing services.
A very well run and highly efficient pet service. Everything is by the book and both Liam and Joanne go above and beyond just walking or boarding your pet. They will get your dog to play "sniff and find" games, arrange hours long adventure trails (very good value) and will leave you with a card or notes detailing behaviour and impressions on the walks. At the weekends they send you great photos of your dog on the walks. They clearly love animals and I can highly recommend them.
Both our dogs love spending time with Joanne and Liam, when they board we never worry, we know they will be cared for and happy

Our Cockapoo Ruby is definitely a happy pet. She boards a few times a year with Louisa & we have total peace of mind that she is being loved as much there as she would be with us. A great service.
Louisa is absolutely wonderful with our dog. Despite his separation anxiety, he is always excited stay with her, and comes back very happy. He has extra needs having diabetes, but Louisa still gives him a lovely holiday home to go to!
Nova 🐾 has been staying at Happy Pets Home Boarding since she was a young puppy and she really does seem to see it as her second home. It is wonderful to be able to go away, without any stress, knowing she is happy and cared for in safe and experienced hands. 🙏 …
Dottie met Louisa last year and it was love at first sight. Such a homely environment and Dottie was welcomed and settled in straight away. We didn't spend any time wondering if Dottie was okay as well got updates throughout the day and were all booked in again this year. We can't thank Louisa and Luna for being so welcoming

Highly recommended! We have 5 Hungarian Vizslas in our home, and as a gundog breed, they are lively and may be considered a bit of a handful if you don’t know them. After initial introductions which Sax accommodated at short notice, she did a brilliant job with a home visit to care for the dogs while we were away for the day. She not only managed to identify each one individually by name and personality, but she ticked every box in terms of being responsible, caring, friendly and reliable. Sax demonstrated all the things you’d need to feel comfortable about leaving your pets (and the security of your home when leaving) in her very capable hands. Glad we have found our new ‘go to’ pet service provider, giving us peace of mind that our dogs will enjoy their time with her and be well managed.
Sax has taken the time to get to know my rescue dog Charlie who is rather nervous of people. Saxan took the time to 'bump' into us so Charlie could get used to her being near him and eventually built up to getting him in the van to go on group walks on a longline so he's not missing out on the fun but doesn't become a flight risk! Charlie loves his walkies with the Wags & Whiskers crew and comes back well exercised. I get lots of pictures and videos showing him having fun.

Wags and Whiskers have been amazing at fitting in with the needs of our family and taking on our English Bull Terrier, Koda. Sax was very keen to hear about our training methods and ensure she continues to use the correct terminology to improve her time with Koda. She is very analytical and cares deeply for the pack and most importantly, the needs of the individual dogs. Every walk has been accompanied by a large selection of pictures and a rundown of what our dog has been up to! We couldn't be happier.
Nothing is ever to much trouble for Sax! She will always pick up Roo at late notice if she has the space when I need an extra walk for him. The walks are varied and he always comes home tired out and ready for a nap. Sax has really taken the time to get to know Roo and has a good understanding of his personality and behaviours. Roo gets so excited when he see's sax coming up the path to collect him. Roo has had the opportunity to mix with other dogs and have some one on one walks too. I am so pleased we decided to try a dog walker and now I really don't know how we managed before we had her. 😊🐾 Thank-you 🐶
My chihuahua absolutely adores Sax ! I’ve been really happy with all the updates I get from his walks and I am 100 % confident he is in safe hands when he is out and about walking or in the van. He is always returned towel dried which is a major plus when your interior is all cream and light grey ! I couldn’t recommend this dog walking service any less than a 10/10 !
Barney has the best time out with Sax and the rest of the pack on his walks! We can’t wait to hear how he gets on and always look forward to seeing the pictures after. Sax is so lovely and we couldn’t think of anyone better to take care of our mischievous little pup!
Sax runs an amazing drop in (for both cats and dogs) and dog walking service. Wags and Whiskers has everything you would be looking for with loving and professional day to day care for your pets. Highly recommended <3

I always receive a photo update and a reassuring message after every walk. My little chap is very happy on her group walk sessions. We googled rabbit boarding in and around Filton as this is where would be convenient for us. We found Flo's pets and plants that advertises as Bristol and Newport with the postcode BS7(Filton/Horfield). That was perfect for us so we contacted Flo and booked the rabbits in. She sent us a pack with all the information, including the full address. We confirmed a date and time. On the day, we turned up to the address and rang the door bell, a man answered and told us we got the wrong address and he's not heard of Flo's Pets and Plants. We rang Flo 3 times with no answer and messaged with no reply. We were running late so went onto our parents house in Filton. When we arrived, Flo rang and apologised. She said she had a garage in the area but was in Bradley Stoke so would come pick the rabbits up from my parents house. When she arrived, she explained that she was taking the rabbits back to her house in Newport, 24 miles away! She said we could pick them up late on Sunday or she could drop them back to us on Monday. We agreed she could drop them back Monday after 15:00 and sent our address where we live. This was all communicated across WhatsApp and the 2 blue ticks showed that she had read our address. On the day, she went to my parents address in Filton then rang me. I explained that wasn't the address I'd sent and she shouted down the phone at me, saying this was all on me. After we hung up, she continued to have a go at me across WhatsApp(texting on her phone whilst driving). I do not recommend this Flo's service. This whole experience has been unprofessional, harassment with the amount of messages she sent and using phrases such as "this is on you" and illegal when she text me whilst driving.

Barking Mad Taunton found us the perfect host for our two dogs while we had a lovely holiday knowing our dogs were being well cared for. After the distress they suffered after their last time in kennels this is the perfect solution. Will certainly use them again.
